While visiting Ashley Furniture in River City Marketplace, my boyfriend and I were assisted by Israel and it was a great experience! He was very inviting and friendly. We were shopping for a mattress, so he gave us the grand tour of mattresses at their store. Although he went through many options, I never felt like he was just trying to sell a product. He educated us and made it easy for us to make a decision. We’ll definitely be purchasing our mattress from Israel and other house items as well ☺️.

I had a very disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture. they overcharged me, and to make things worse, the manager was absolutely awful. She was rude, unprofessional, and showed no interest in helping resolve the issue. Her attitude was horrible, and she made me feel like I was the one at fault just for asking for what I paid for. I trusted this store thinking it was reputable, but I was clearly wrong. I do not recommend this store. Double-check everything before signing or paying, and don’t trust what the staff says, because once they have your money, they disappear.

We met with a salesperson named Israel. He was amazing. Great personality, funny, easy to work with. I don't like having a salesperson shadow me. When I am ready I will let the salesperson know. Israel provides just the right amount of attention and advice. My suggestion is to go to the River City Ashley store and ask for Israel as soon as you walk through the door!

Israel at the River City location helped me find a bedroom and living room set. Out of all salesman I’ve ever dealt with from car dealerships to this, Israel was by far the best to work with. We visited 3 Ashley furniture locations and he was the only one that was not a pushy salesman. He observed my style to help suggest good options and help find what I liked. It’s nice to have a salesman that gives you space and time to shop on your own.

My 96-year-old father sleeps in an electric lift recliner. His old recliner (not from Ashley) suddenly stopped working so he could not get out of it without help. This happened at 6:30pm and I panicked because he needed a replacement ASAP. Stacy at the Ashley Furniture near the JAX airport called me back right away. She had a floor model available! By this time it was less than an hour before the store closed, I was 45 minutes away, and the loaders had left for the day. Stacy guided me through paying over the phone and upon arrival at the store, she personally helped move and lift the 140lb chair into the car. What amazing customer service! I am so thankful for Stacy and Ashley Furniture!

We found a nice bedroom set and we were prepared to buy it until we saw the $ 350 delivery fee. The set was on sale. We did not want the $350 for delivery so we asked if we could pick it up. We were advised that if we didn’t choose to use their delivery that we would lose the sale price so either way we would pay more. This was not the salesman’s fault as it is company policy. This was a sophisticated bait and switch.

Ashley's Home Furnishings program with Wells Fargo is a reason I will never do business with them again. I personally called Wells Fargo to get the payoff amount, paid it, and was charged a fee because I didn't pay the full balance. I paid what I was told I needed to pay. It was my only time calling, so there's no reason not to pay the full amount. Either way, that's their business partner, and as that's the case, I won't do any more business with them.

Was treated very well when I bought the furniture. They sold me a 5 yr protection plan $350 and apparently each store is independently owned and since this store got bought out no one can tell me in the store who services that protection plan, I called corporate and the lady was rude I asked her for her name or employee id # and she just hung the phone in my face, I called customer service and was told a manager would call me and I’m still waiting for the call. So basically you pay for a service that they are not providing. Basically stealing from people buying from them. So just be careful if they sell out you might not be able to solve any problems with furniture you bought from them. Furniture after 3 years started pealing not covered under protection plan. And after 4.5 years both couches broke. Don’t buy very beautiful furniture. Sad customer service sucks. If you look at corporate rating 1.5 stars. This place is a joke.

This has been the WORST furniture shopping experience I’ve had. We payed 17,000 in CASH for our furniture, which they advised would be delivered in 2 weeks although they got their money right away. That was the least of our problems. Half of the furniture came in 3 weeks from the day we payed and the other half only came with certain pieces. We are now on week 5 and they are telling us it’s going to be another 3 weeks for us to get our complete order and now we have to assemble it ourselves although we payed the assembly fee. I had planned to go back for the rest of our furniture because I can honestly say I love the quality but it’s definitely not worth the hassle and If I could I would return our whole order because it’s has been nothing but a complete inconvenience and they tell you they’re going to fix the problem and nothing gets done. I ordered from ROOMS TO GO and BADCOCK and got my furniture within the same week DO NOT SHOP WITH ASHLEYS IF YOU WANT YOUR FURNITURE RIGHT AWAY and good customer service !!!!!!!! Update: We have wasted each Saturday of our free time for the past 6 weeks, time that we cannot get back and have yet to receive our full order. Every time they come they are missing hardware or bringing damaged furniture and refuse to give us a refund. This last Saturday 4/27/24 was our last straw and the customer service supervisor was completely unhelpful and refused to give us the number for corporate and stated we could not get a refund which the delivery person Aaron witnessed and then tried to do his best to help us but in the end he was unable to do so. Nothing was done to accommodate the inconvenience we’ve dealt with thus far and at this point we are over it. PLEASE process our refund and pick up the pieces that were left in my house. This is by far the worst furniture experience we’ve dealt with.

Came in today for a mattress and bed set. We were assisted by Earl Chaney. It was a pleasure working with him. He gave us all the information we needed then let us move around looking at all the options. He did not hover which I deeply appreciate. We will definitely be back and hope to work with him again.

We came in to check out some furniture on a whim and not only found everything we were looking for but had such a wonderful experience working with Drew. She allowed us to get a feel for what we wanted and swooped in working to fulfill the intent of our visit. “Danni listened” to our needs and wants and made sure we left with the main things we wanted/needed. I’m so grateful to have the tall Danni experience today!!! While my shopping experience with Tall Danni was awesome, my delivery was horrible, dreadful, a disaster, a disappointment, awful, poor and everything that can mean bad! It was the absolute worst delivery experience I’ve ever had! The two guys that delivered my furniture, assembled everything outside allowing everything to sit in the street until they were ready to bring it inside. I asked for the furniture to remain inside the packaging until they got it inside the house (a big empty house) and they refused even after they spoke with "customer service" who advised they had to take the sofa out of the plastic so they wouldn’t damage it (makes absolutely no sense) but to bring the other items in still in the packaging. These guys were very rude and went into my mailbox and stole my card info. They also purposely damaged my tv stand (pictured below). Each time I try to reach customer service to advise of my service and issue, I can’t get anybody! Unfortunately I have to change my 5 star rating to a 2.
