Last Saturday, my husband and I visited Ashley Furniture, where I fell in love with the Midnight Madness sectional. We left without purchasing anything that day, but after talking about the couch endlessly (and wearing out my poor husband’s patience!), we decided to go back yesterday and make it ours. Portia, our home furnishing consultant, provided outstanding service. She patiently walked us through everything, explained all the details, and answered every question we had about different furniture pieces. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor made it feel like we’d known her for months! Thank you so much, Portia, for making this the best furniture-buying experience I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back for more!

We met with a salesperson named Israel. He was amazing. Great personality, funny, easy to work with. I don't like having a salesperson shadow me. When I am ready I will let the salesperson know. Israel provides just the right amount of attention and advice. My suggestion is to go to the River City Ashley store and ask for Israel as soon as you walk through the door!
Israel at the River City location helped me find a bedroom and living room set. Out of all salesman I’ve ever dealt with from car dealerships to this, Israel was by far the best to work with. We visited 3 Ashley furniture locations and he was the only one that was not a pushy salesman. He observed my style to help suggest good options and help find what I liked. It’s nice to have a salesman that gives you space and time to shop on your own.

My 96-year-old father sleeps in an electric lift recliner. His old recliner (not from Ashley) suddenly stopped working so he could not get out of it without help. This happened at 6:30pm and I panicked because he needed a replacement ASAP. Stacy at the Ashley Furniture near the JAX airport called me back right away. She had a floor model available! By this time it was less than an hour before the store closed, I was 45 minutes away, and the loaders had left for the day. Stacy guided me through paying over the phone and upon arrival at the store, she personally helped move and lift the 140lb chair into the car. What amazing customer service! I am so thankful for Stacy and Ashley Furniture!

We found a nice bedroom set and we were prepared to buy it until we saw the $ 350 delivery fee. The set was on sale. We did not want the $350 for delivery so we asked if we could pick it up. We were advised that if we didn’t choose to use their delivery that we would lose the sale price so either way we would pay more. This was not the salesman’s fault as it is company policy. This was a sophisticated bait and switch.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Daniela G. (The taller Dani!). She was absolutely incredible in assisting my husband and I in the purchase of our new Sofa and Loveseat set. As we’ve just relocated to FL from RI, we have been very eager to purchase some new pieces and Dani was amazing at finding the balance of providing us guidance when we requested it, but also allowing us to browse peacefully - which unfortunately was not the case in many of the other furniture stores (other Ashley locations included) we visited prior. We purchased Entertainment center with the fireplace. The in store experience was great! The delivery has been horrible it's been almost 4 weeks now and they bought out part of the entertainment system and left it unassembled, said someone would be back within 1 to 2 days. For me, this has been the worst experience buying furniture. Just a month ago I bought a sofa, 2 chairs, a mattress, and a box, and I still have no answer about when the furniture will arrive at my house. I will never recommend this store because of their lack of respect for the customer.

Ashley's Home Furnishings program with Wells Fargo is a reason I will never do business with them again. I personally called Wells Fargo to get the payoff amount, paid it, and was charged a fee because I didn't pay the full balance. I paid what I was told I needed to pay. It was my only time calling, so there's no reason not to pay the full amount. Either way, that's their business partner, and as that's the case, I won't do any more business with them.

Was treated very well when I bought the furniture. They sold me a 5 yr protection plan $350 and apparently each store is independently owned and since this store got bought out no one can tell me in the store who services that protection plan, I called corporate and the lady was rude I asked her for her name or employee id # and she just hung the phone in my face, I called customer service and was told a manager would call me and I’m still waiting for the call. So basically you pay for a service that they are not providing. Basically stealing from people buying from them. So just be careful if they sell out you might not be able to solve any problems with furniture you bought from them. Furniture after 3 years started pealing not covered under protection plan. And after 4.5 years both couches broke. Don’t buy very beautiful furniture. Sad customer service sucks. If you look at corporate rating 1.5 stars. This place is a joke.

This has been the WORST furniture shopping experience I’ve had. We payed 17,000 in CASH for our furniture, which they advised would be delivered in 2 weeks although they got their money right away. That was the least of our problems. Half of the furniture came in 3 weeks from the day we payed and the other half only came with certain pieces. We are now on week 5 and they are telling us it’s going to be another 3 weeks for us to get our complete order and now we have to assemble it ourselves although we payed the assembly fee. I had planned to go back for the rest of our furniture because I can honestly say I love the quality but it’s definitely not worth the hassle and If I could I would return our whole order because it’s has been nothing but a complete inconvenience and they tell you they’re going to fix the problem and nothing gets done. I ordered from ROOMS TO GO and BADCOCK and got my furniture within the same week DO NOT SHOP WITH ASHLEYS IF YOU WANT YOUR FURNITURE RIGHT AWAY and good customer service !!!!!!!! Update: We have wasted each Saturday of our free time for the past 6 weeks, time that we cannot get back and have yet to receive our full order. Every time they come they are missing hardware or bringing damaged furniture and refuse to give us a refund. This last Saturday 4/27/24 was our last straw and the customer service supervisor was completely unhelpful and refused to give us the number for corporate and stated we could not get a refund which the delivery person Aaron witnessed and then tried to do his best to help us but in the end he was unable to do so. Nothing was done to accommodate the inconvenience we’ve dealt with thus far and at this point we are over it. PLEASE process our refund and pick up the pieces that were left in my house. This is by far the worst furniture experience we’ve dealt with.

She allowed us to get a feel for what we wanted and swooped in working to fulfill the intent of our visit. “Danni listened” to our needs and wants and made sure we left with the main things we wanted/needed. I’m so grateful to have the tall Danni experience today!!! While my shopping experience with Tall Danni was awesome, my delivery was horrible, dreadful, a disaster, a disappointment, awful, poor and everything that can mean bad! It was the absolute worst delivery experience I’ve ever had! The two guys that delivered my furniture, assembled everything outside allowing everything to sit in the street until they were ready to bring it inside. I asked for the furniture to remain inside the packaging until they got it inside the house (a big empty house) and they refused even after they spoke with "customer service" who advised they had to take the sofa out of the plastic so they wouldn’t damage it (makes absolutely no sense) but to bring the other items in still in the packaging. These guys were very rude and went into my mailbox and stole my card info. They also purposely damaged my tv stand (pictured below). Each time I try to reach customer service to advise of my service and issue, I can’t get anybody! Unfortunately I have to change my 5 star rating to a 2.

I appreciate the aggressive compassion that the manager, Brenda, and told Danny her sales associate, displayed and trying to get some system issues taken care of. I wasn’t one that was gonna be sold too much but I really am a big stickler when it comes to contracts they made us stay at work for me and my family and it’s just in time for Christmas. My wife bought almost $3k worth mattress and they delivered it to our home but they forgot the legs and remote control. They said they would ship it to us and they did ship but when we ask to install the remote they said you need to call the company who created the matress not Ashley's. After they (Ashley's and matress company) passed me 1000 thousands time to each other, I ended up find someone from Facebook marketplace to install it and I paid out of my pocket.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We bought our mattress from them on Monday. The service in the furniture store was amazing. Dani was a great sales lady and I give her 5 stars. Thursday (today) they called and said we could pick up our mattress from the warehouse before 4:00 today. We got here at 11:30 and they explained it was a late truck so give them a couple hours to get it unloaded. We came back at 2:00 and are still sitting outside waiting for them to find out mattress. There are literally 4-5 guys just standing around inside the warehouse doing nothing. Will never buy from this store again.

Update: Now that I have posted a review the store has reached out and told me to submit a claim with them. I have already tried that 5 times ago but they kept saying I had to submit the claims with 5starcustomerservice, which I did. Now because 5 star dropped the ball the store wants to do something. I asked why do they use 5 star and they couldn't say why. So now they want me to jump through more hoops 🙄. I think we are just going to cut our losses and NEVER shop with them again!! Bought a brand new sectional 4 years ago. Also bought the warranty with it. The sectional is falling apart. Started submitting claims to have it repaired back in February. They have only answered one time and they told us we had to submit the claim online. Then someone would call us to let us know when they would be out to repair it. We haven't heard anything. We have attempted to call them multiple times but no one will answer. The store says they can't help we have to go through the warranty company. Needless to say we are going to have to buy a new couch from somewhere else. It's sickening to know how much we spent and it's only been 4 years!

Absolutely the worse store I've ever had to deal with. We spent over $2,000 on a new couch, they delivered half of the couch and what was delivered was broken. Then they charged our card twice for the item, I called corporate and they can offer a $25 gift card for all of this inconvenience! What a joke of a store and customer service. Do not give them your money and shop elsewhere!

I originally would have given Ashley Furniture a 5 star review; however, I have been ignored for MONTHS regarding my warranty claim on my couch. I have called dozens of times and checked on the status almost daily and there is never an update. This is very disappointing considering the amount of money I have spent with this business. Won’t be back if this can’t be fixed.
I had the experience of buying a complete bedroom set from little Dani. She was an absolute professional and a joy to work with. She took out the time to also help out a friend I brought along and got her a bed as well. She got every detail right and was the nicest salesperson I have worked with in a long time I will defiantly be back to see her for my living room set when the time comes! She offered superb customer service!!

Me and my fiancé were in the market for a new bed and we wondered our way into Ashely. There really isn't anything bad to say about this store. The service was good. They explained to us that there was way more inventory that they offered than what was on display and was happy to help us with everything. It is a nice store. I just don't love it like that so I gave it 4 stars. I would recommend this store.

We waited more than four months for acceptable, although we promised that we would receive it within a week. Arrived with 3 damage and the doors don't close properly. They don't want to take it back. Think twice before buying from Ashley. The story continues! I barely got through to Customer service, ordered a call back, called back three days later. And as it turned out, my order number was not registered with them, and now I need to go to the store again. What a terrible service they have!

My wife and I was greeted by Allison Watts at the River City Ashley store in Jacksonville, Florida on August 8th, 2022. From the onset she was very curtious and polite. I have bought a TV set and was supposed to pick it up at the warehouse at Jacksonville, then i called customer service today they said it’s available for pick up and i got a message from them that it’s available to pick up. When i got to the warehouse they said its still not offloaded from the truck yet and that i have to come either late today or tomorrow. I called customer service back again and they said its not available to pick up today!!!!!! Then i asked them since its there mistake to deliver it for free to my address , and said we can’t.WE APPLOGiZE for this mistake. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this avoidable miscommunication .
You literally can't even call the store without being transferred to a call center. Imagine doing business with an establishment that doesn't even want to speak to you.

I'm still pending for my dining table set over 5 months. I bought on January, that supposed would be delivered ended February, is May 31 and don't have my furniture. This was full paying from the first day. They are very irresponsible. I'm very upset, don't recommend.
I went to Ashley at River City yesterday and Allison greet me as soon as I came in. I already knew what I was getting but the timing of the delivery was my concern. Allison explained to me in detail what I can expect as far as delivery time frame. I’m sure it will be delivered on time though. Allison was so sweet and taking her time getting all the prices so that I can get the most savings. I am so glad I went when I did and she was there to educate me everything I needed to be aware for this order so that I don’t have to stress and get frustrated later when I don’t get my expectation.
They sell extra protection plans & warranties and then wont let you file a claim.
I waited almost *9 MONTHS* for the chairs that go with the dining room set I bought @ Ashley. The only reason I received them today is because I got fed up and went online to see if I could find them somewhere else. Where did I find them, you ask? On the freaking Ashley website! So I call and they're all like, "Oh, we have them in stock. Would you like delivery on Tuesday?". GRRRRRRR!!!!!! 😡😡😡 9 MONTHS!!!! And I had to call THEM for an update after every date they gave me passed. So, no, I would not recommend Ashley. The delivery guys are awesome BTW.
I ordered a bedroom set in September of last year. It’s not expected in until the end of July. I’m sure it’ll be pushed back AGAIN since every time I call it’s pushed back several months. I understand there are delays, but when I placed my order I was told we would get the furniture in Dec/Jan. I didn’t expect to have to wait a YEAR for furniture that was fully paid for the day the order was placed.
If if I could mark zero I would. I am so disgusted with the warranty company (Platinum) That participates with Ashley. I purchased a 5 year warranty thru a company they work with called Platinum. I filed a claim and because the damage did not occur with in 30 days of filing the claim I was told they would not honor my warrant, even though my warranty is good until 12/23. Ashley was contacted and was of no help and infact rude. When I said I would never buy from them again they said "Fine" when I said I was going to post a bad review I was told "Go Ahead". Save your time and stay away, they sell a bill of goods then lie!
Purchased our furniture in December and we were given dates for when everything would be in which we were told was all before our end of April move date. Now they’re saying some of it is backed up til JULY. Completely unacceptable. Every time I call they give me a different date. I didn’t even get everything I was supposed to get when we moved to our new home last week even though they told me these certain pieces were all available. Delivery team barely put anything together correctly and didn’t ask us to sign anything. Furniture came with spots and marks everywhere. Now I can’t even get ahold of anyone to find out where the hell the rest of our furniture is.
Buyer beware! They are selling furniture with no intention of delivering it. They claim to be back ordered by 6 months but in reality are using peoples money as a loan to cover overhead. The business will go bankrupt soon. Do not go there.

I recently moved to Jacksonville and had no idea how difficult it was to find furniture these days. Everything is delayed not by days, but by weeks and months. Love Ashley furniture but very frustrated about all my furniture I bought. Been told certain time to get it and it keep changing. Been waiting 6 months for pieces to my kitchen table I have not received yet. But other then this I love the place and the people that work there.
I'm exhausted with this place. We ordered a couch for approximately 2k. We were told we would have one section immediately, and then the other a month later. This was at the end of August. After calling and an extra visit to the store, and a promise from corporate and a store manager, we have been brushed off. They're telling us that the rest of our couch will be here at the end of december/early January. I can't stand that I have half a couch in my living room. We've hardly occupied that room because there's not enough room to sit for my family. Also, they gossip about other customers... while on the phone with customers.
Shamika is a Rock Star!! We have been buying furniture from her for years. She truly provides unmatched service and I will only buy furniture from her!! She really knows how to treat her customers.
My wife and I went into Ashley Homestore after visiting 6 other furniture stores feeling deflated due poor lead times and prices. Needless to say our expectations were a little low. We stumbled across the Alabonson 7 piece sectional and it immediately made a connection with us. The price along with protection plan was a little more than what we were expecting to pay. Given this, Mr. Martinez and Ms. Leci stepped away so my wife and can talk about it. Out of nowhere Mr. Martinez extended an offer my wife and I could not refuse! I am confident, Ashley Homestore is in the business of proving quality furniture and an amazing customer service experience! We recommend everyone to visit Ashley Homestore at the St. John Towncenter in Jax Fla. and ask for Ms. Alda Leci and Mr. Luking Martinez!

I can’t say enough good things about this store and, particularly, the sales manager, Allison. We visited the store but were planning to order from another store in another state as we are moving in a few months. We told Allison from the beginning that we weren’t ordering there, but she still spent at least 45 minutes with us (knowing that she wasn’t going to get a sale from us) explaining the features of the couches we selected, how to take care of them, what we needed to do when we ordered, helping us select a coffee table, etc. She was so kind and helpful and knowledgeable that we left wishing we could have ordered from her. In fact we were so impressed that two days later we decided that even if we had to stuff our house so full of furniture that we couldn’t move around until our move date, it was worth it to order from Allison. She worked hard to get us a great deal and to make sure that we had no issues if we needed to finance our order. She has been wonderful from start to finish. We just wish we could take her with us for future furniture purchases!

After spending a few thousand dollars, in store and waiting 3 months, our entire split delivery came broken or damaged, on top of waiting all day with no calls and missing work. 16 hours of unpaid time off. Unexcusable for any business much less employee owned!

A clean place to shop a plethora of furniture. Just be sure to watch your budget.
First of all, always order online as the in store price is significantly higher. Secondly, be ready to wait multiple months to receive your order. We have been waiting for 2 months, and just were told that it most likely will be another few months till we receive our order.

Alina N. took such good care of us on multiple occasions. I was very indecisive (on both visits) and she was extremely patient with me. She is honest, hard working and a great listener. She is eager to help and provides top notch service. We went to other locations and those experiences were bland. We ended up back at the Rivercity store. My husband and I went in there last Friday, as soon as we walked in we were greater by Allison Watts, we are building a new home and they offer a new home buyer program. She knew everything about every program, sales, and military discount programs. I have never in my 41 years met a sales person who was not pushy and only helpful. From start to when we paid our bill the service has been nothing but AMAZING! We were so happy with Allison and the selection of furniture we bought for 3 rooms in our house instead of the 1 room we had planned. We are so excited to have nice furniture finally after moving with the military for 20 years.

If we could give zero stars, we would. We ordered $10K of furniture in early April. They have been stringing us along for months as to when we can get it delivered. Now today they say it might be July 26th....THREE AND A HALF MONTHS FROM THE DATE WE ORDERED IN THE STORE!!!! WE CANCELLED OUR $10K ORDER TODAY. DO NOT SHOP HERE. WE WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.
I just want to say that Allison was fantastic! I’ve never liked going to furniture stores because of pushy sales people. However, Allison made my experience truly wonderful. She was not pushy and came to assist us right when we needed her. She answer every single question we had and suggested items that matched the furniture ideas I have for my home. Her taste is spot on. Do yourself a favor, if you’re shopping @ the Ashley’s in the RiverCity, ask for Allison!
Once you give them your money, customer service goes out the window! Ordered a dining and living room set back in February with Mr. Uzzi. Never recieved a single update until today, two days prior to the established delivery date. Our delivery was set for June 3rd and has now been established "sometime in the end of June" I have been without a couch for awhile due to it breaking so you can imagine the frustration. I also want to mention my husband called mid may to check in on the status and was told everything was on track. I say take your money somewhere that has better service and is more upfront and honest with their customers While on the phone with Mr Mike Uzzi, I was laughed at when I talked about how in this timeframe my old couch had broken and so I've been without a couch for awhile. I then was met with total attitude and snarky responses. He told me "other people are waiting till August" when I explained my disappointment. I did not appreciate the lack of concern or respect from this salesman , it was very apparent he didn't care unless he got his commission. Just because others are waiting does not make it acceptable to order something in advance and not have it ready as stated. also took me contacting corporate to get anywhere with cancelling my order or being told the truth. Something mr. Uzzi and those at this location failed to inform me was that I'd recieve items in pieces and on different dates.

So, like the other google reviewer, Mrs. Donovan, I too, got "great" customer service when finalizing my order. I was quoted by the rep March 27 for delivery. Well, today is March 26, and when I called hours ago, after moving my own furniture out of the way for said delivery date, was told by that same rep, "no, it's being delivered by the end of April".... That's not what I was quoted. I decided to go in to the store, to see if there was anything that could be done, and given excuse after excuse, and finally told, my bed and dresser won't be delivered until May. 3 different delivery dates...really?! This is so frustrating. And when I got there they tried to play it off, and tell me, " it's not about the sale, we don't go paid until it's delivered.." SAVE IT! Yes, I know that COVID-19 has put everything on hold, and caused delays but my thing is, BE HONEST, BE UP-FRONT! I would have been totally fine with getting stuff in May,BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT I WAS QUOTED!!! To the person from Ashley furniture reading this, please treat your customers better than this. It's not about the dates, but being honest, and I was lied to. This is a slap in the face....DO BETTER!!!
Worst customer service. Once you buy a product from them don’t expect to be respected or receive any kind of customer service. After speaking with the lady “manager” I have realized she is incompetent and hates life. Can’t complete a simple task. I will never be buying from another Ashley furniture again and I suggest everyone to look elsewhere to furnish your home.

This is the worst furniture store to buy anything from not even a bottle of water. I went in the store purchase two recliner paided in full early January the 8th got one recliner February 12th I called to check on delivery for the next recliner on the 17th of February was told it want come in until the last week of March. This will be my last time shopping here.

Ordered a bedroom set the first of October.... here it is almost 2021 and I’ve only received the bed frame. When I ordered it (and paid for it in full) I was given an expected delivery date of November 16th for all the pieces. However I did not receive the bed frame until the first week of December, and was told then that the dresser and night stands would be arriving in 2 weeks. Called today to check on the pieces and was told it would be the last week of January! The delay was blamed on the manufacturers, and while I understand that I feel very mislead. I spent over $2000 on this set and 4 months later I still don’t have it. Ashely Furniture salesmen should be notifying buyers of the continuing delays!!!! Do not order from them unless you have the time to wait!
I never write reviews unless I have had the best experience or the worst experience. And no I am not a Karen. But This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Great experience when ordering my furniture. Then I call them 2 days before my furniture is supposed to arrive only to find out, that part of couch wasn't going to be delivered. They didn't even call me to tell them that. Then it comes to delivery day, and the whole couch wasn't even on the truck, and then decided to tell me that the whole couch won't be delivered until a month from now. Then I call the store, to see where is my furniture, and just get yelled at over the phone, with an attitude telling me there is nothing they can do (typical). And then get hung up. I get that COVID has impacted everybody, but these are large purchases, and you would expect good communication. I recommend never shopping here ever again. Truly the worst people working here.
It took 142 days (4 months, 19 days) from the time I placed my warranty claim to fix my couch, to the time that the couch was functional again. Google wouldn't allow me to post the entire story because it's too long, but you can see my review at Yelp.
Went to this store at 8pm and no one, even when they saw us acknowledge us or went up to us to ask if we needed help or if they can help us! Very rude people they just kept looking at us!! Next time say hi at least!! Bad management!

Just received a call from store in River City. They received a call from corporate to assist me further. There's nothing they can do. They wanted me to come in and order something else; no discount or nothing. I just cancelled mattress and had money returned to card. Ashley sucks!
From the initial sale in store this whole process screamed unprofessional. Our salesman was not educated on any products that my husband and I were asking about. It was until we spoke about purchasing our items cash that he perked up. As if he did not think we were serious buyers or he did not take us serious. Anyway we went with them because they were the only ones with the style of bed that I wanted. We ordered in July and were told it wouldn’t arrive August 16th due to Covid (this was fine we knew most places were behind schedule).Fast forward to August 13th, three days before our installation I called them because we had not received any communication, no confirmation, no scheduled window, not even an update. The woman on the phone said that our bed would not be in stock until September. Mind you we purchased on July 5th and had no communication up until this point. I was livid. Of course there was nothing they do and they didn’t even act like they cared. Today is September 12 our bed finally came. We got a window between 10:30-01:30, we got a text about 6 minutes before they arrived that stated the delivery would be there in 10 minutes. All the other places that we have ordered from have given a call 25-30 minutes before hand so that we can prepare and clear the space. Once the guys came in the seemed very annoyed that we had to move our bed. One of the guys even looked at me annoyingly and asked was my husband ready as if they were doing us a favor and we hadn’t purchased from them. I will NOT purchase from again the experience was terrible especially compared to some of the other people that we ordered from. If you are delivering things and assembling them in peoples houses you are the face of the company. If you don’t like that then you should be in another field or start your own business. Don’t make customers suffer because you are unhappy!!!!!!!
Tried to buy a love seat because that's all I needed. The Mgr.(?) would not sell it because it was a part of a set. I went to this store because I was told they had this particular piece. Mgr. would not separate it from set and would not offer to locate or order another one. Sales associates were very nice....Mgr. was very arrogant...won't be going back..
I’m so upset. I came in on the 30th of July after I found out our closing date. I ordered a whole bed set, a couch and love seat and an entertainment center. I was told my bedroom set would have been delivered on the 13th I didn’t receive a call until the day before saying my delivery was pushed back for the weekend. So I waited for that weekend and the same thing happened once again. I went in store with my receipt and they said everything was in stock and would schedule me for delivery for august 28th. I got my delivery confirmation and this morning I get a call saying that the bed wasn’t even in stock!! So now I’ve gone almost a whole month without my bedroom set. I’m so frustrated and disappointed with their customer service, nobody is helping me understand and I honestly expected so much more from this store considering the actual staff is incredibly friendly. Reconsidering if buying from here was a good idea

After coming to the store 4 times about to purchase at Rooms 2 Go some furniture that was not quality furniture. Went to Rooms 2 Go but I really was not please but just because of the price I was going to settle. But Mr. Whitfield called me and assured me if we gave him the opportunity he would make sure we were please and assured we would have the best price and quality furniture he ask us to come today the 4th of July 2020. I said ok let me talk to my husband. My husband said babe let's give it a shot. So here we go. Went in and they did there thing we walked out with the best. And we must say! We are Happy Happy Happy! Today me and my husband found out the closing date for our new home. Stopped in to get a living room set and just had the most amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We got better that what we wanted for an amazing price. Corey was our sales agent amazing he got us as every discount he had to offer. We then went out To the back and meet the lovely Taylor who was also a pleasure to converse with. I also had the please of meet the store Manager Shamika, she was just as friendly and welcoming as her staff. She made sure we were happy with our sale and joined in on our goody conversation. We went to Ashley HomeStore on 3/2/2020 to look for living room furniture to purchase for our brand new home. We have a large family so we were looking for a sectional that would be able to seat all of us. The store was beautiful and had many options. The service we received on that day was superior. We found a sectional style and color we really loved. The salesperson helped us piece it together perfectly to fit our family and large area of the living room. Our goal was to have the furniture delivered and in place by the second to last week in March. The delivery date they gave us was just that, so it was perfect. We received calls on 3/19 to schedule our delivery. We returned the call to schedule our delivery and were told that our furniture was in. I asked if we could call back the following week to schedule. I explained that I wanted to coordinate delivery upon the completion of our flooring installation that week. I was told that this was no problem. I called back the following week and suddenly they didn’t have our furniture! Needless to say I was NOT HAPPY & in fact contemplated canceling our order. How do you suddenly not have the furniture you told us was at the warehouse just a few days prior!? Furniture we PAID for IN FULL! They offered a new delivery date for April! On 3/26 we received a call offering a split delivery for that weekend as they had all pieces with the exception of the additional armless loveseat we purchased! We agreed on the split delivery as we were told the piece would be in on 4/4! Today is 4/17 & we STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ADDITIONAL PIECE WE PAID FOR! We had to call this week to inquire about it. On the 14th we called and were told they’d know if it would be on the truck by the 16th and would call to schedule delivery for this weekend. We did not receive a call so we called today and were told our furniture was due to arrive April 29th. In the meantime they have their money & we do not have our furniture! Our family can not enjoy sitting together to watch a movie. Two have to sit on the floor while the rest sit on the furniture we did receive! It’s bad when everyone asks and wonders why the additional piece is STILL NOT IN! If I would have read all of the previous horrible delivery reviews dating back from 2018 to current I would not have purchased from here. This store and Ashley Furniture came highly recommended! I’m extremely disappointed and highly upset with their delivery process and lack of knowledge or concern!
Have been waiting for furniture package sence February 3 2020, was suppose to be complete by first week in March. Still waiting on six pieces. Called customer service they said it would be complete by first week in April . Now they said April 19. Tried to call several times, now cant get anyone on phone. HOPELESS! When this is finally over with I will never walk back in their store again.
I went to Ashley Home Store a few weeks ago to check out some sectionals. The selections were decent with some nice contemporary options. The store is very spacious and organized. It’s easy to navigate to different layout schemes. When I came into the store, I was greeted by a very nice sales associate. Her name was Alina who was very helpful. I showed her a sectional that I was interested. She was able to give me a quote of the sectional customized. I decided not to purchase a couch that day, but I will reach out to Alina if I change my mind. She was very helpful.

Today was our second time coming into this specific store and requesting Allison. She didn’t hassle us nor did she push anything on us. She always tries to give us the best deals and customer service as well as looking out for us. We will always make sure to come back and request her, because she is bloody fantastic! Also, the store manager James was very kind and came over and personally thanked us for our loyalty. Overall, an excellent experience.

My husband purchased a recliner for me Christmas on December 23rd. The salesperson told us we could pick it up at the warehouse on the 24th Christmas Eve. My husband drove over to the warehouse to pick it up and no one was there in sight. The warehouse was open, the door is open, but there is no one insight. My husband is calling the non-emergency police line just to ensure that someone will at least come and close and lock up the warehouse and lock up the store so that all of the furniture is not stolen, as well as to make sure that the employee that is supposed to be in there with the building wide open is okay.
I was prepared to furnish two rooms with their North Shore line with cash, however i walked around the store for 30 minutes and no one helped me. We passed by a group of salesman tlking to eachother and they didnt move. Maybe i would get better service online but I dont even want to spend my money there. We just bought a new house and want to furnish by Christmas. Maybe Nationwide would want my money. To bad the rating won't let you do a point star. I'm so done with this store.

I left this particular location less than an hour ago and felt the need for an immediate review. While the furniture was beautiful and the sales were decent, the customer service was nonexistent. I was there with my two toddlers, so there’s no way that the sales associates were unaware of my presence, especially since my littles were rather loudly laughing and/or protesting to being in the stroller. I tried out chairs to tables, took pictures of my favorite ones to share with my partner, took pictures of beds, tried out sofas, and stopped to nurse my youngest. I was there for about half an hour and no one, and I do mean NO ONE said ONE word to me. I was so ready to spend some money. Guess they didn’t want it. I won’t be going back! 😊
I just purchased a new mattress and it was a very pleasurable experience thanks to Alina at the River City store in Jacksonville Fl. I really had no intention of spending much on a mattress, but Alina's knowledge and patience made me realize that you get what you pay for. I recommend that anyone in Jacksonville looking to buy a mattress go to the River City store and see Alina.

Ordered a tv stand was told I would have it in three weeks. It did not arrive. I called they said they were waiting on all the pieces, and it would be 6 days, and that they would call back to schedule delivery. No one called. I called them again and they said they didnt have all the pieces, now they are telling me to wait another week and call back and check. I wouldnt be upsey if they simply communicated the delays. But as of right now the only time I talk to them is when I call.

They lack service associates. They don't tell you before ordering that their policy is no refunds/ cancellations cost you 25% and only 75% is given for store credit. What was offered as an "extra" discount is actually the same sale price offered online and in store they charged delivery fees where as online offered it for free. We spent over $900 and the delivery dates provided were not accurate. My husband had already had days off to accommodate the delivery and when we called they said the date has changed to another day. So we still are awaiting our items over a week later. I would not recommend this store as their policy and service is very misleading.

Worked with Bill Simmons he was a pretty great salesman. Walked the whole entire store with us and didn't pressure us into anything. I provided him wuthe some comparable figures and he and his manager made it happen. The negotiations got a little intense and a little frustration set in with him but he handled it like s champ.

We have never bought a piece of furniture from here that lasted. And we have spent many thousands of dollars. The will bait you into getting their extended warranty. But beware, the warranty is garbage.

Be wary. Got a good deal on some furniture and they said it would be at my place on the 18th of May, maybe a day or two earlier or later. Just got a call, and of course, they can only deliver one piece at a time, starting on the 20th. Way to make a sale, Team. They kind of rushed me through the signing process of my invoice, and I see why, they never informed me of the important information on the back. Not a bad place, just be aware that once you pay, you will not be receiving said furniture for at least 3 weeks from purchase date.
Poor customer service. We walked in and were looked at, up and down, by a salesman. He didn'tdn't even ask if we needed help. After about ten minutes of walking around, ourselves, he answered one question and walked away. We'll go somewhere else.
This place thinks an awful lot of their furniture. The quality is mediocre, but the prices are premium. I also didn’t like the fact that as soon as we walked in there is someone there to greet you, but there’s an ulterior motive. It’s kind of like high pressured sales without being completely obvious. In other words, they followed us all over the store, every time we turned around they were there trying to act like they were doing something else but really they were stalking us. I get that they wanted to be available if we had any questions, but really there is such thing as personal space. Having someone follow you around the store is not really what I would call low pressured sales. We ended up leaving without buying anything.

Bought some nice recliner couch, chair and loveseat furniture in November. The loveseat had an issue where it wouldn’t move. They sent someone out after a somewhat lengthy time and they had to order a part. We setup an appointment for the repair over 6 weeks ago, but, no one has shown up yet to address the problem. It’s now the end of February. Not impressed with their service crew.

The salesman didn't hound me the entire time I was trying to decide which sofa I wanted but was willing to answer any questions I had when I was ready. It was great.

This location is in the River City plaza and has so much furniture to choose from, and so many different set ups and styles, till you really don't know where to begin. If I could give zero stars I would!! Their store manager, Brian, is not to be trusted AT ALL!! We ordered a sectional specifically because he assured us it would be delivered between November 4-6 and upon not yet being called for delivery scheduling, I called to check on the status only to find out it was not predicted to arrive until the 13-19th and there was no way to rush the order and it was not possible to switch to the floor model. He flat out lied to us in order to get us to spend nearly $3000. We cancelled our order and we will never be purchasing from Ashley Homestore again. Terrible service on the part of the store manager; just terrible!
My mother ordered a bed and headboard weeks ago. The sales person input the wrong size mattress which delayed delivery. It has been over 2 weeks and still have not gotten our furniture. When I call I am told “ I will hear from them any day now.” Had I known what a nightmare the it would be dealing with the sale from the start I would have gone to one of the many other furniture stores- most of who deliver within 2 days. Horrible customer service and not worth the over the top pricing this store charges.

I am extremely disappointed in the fact that we were told that we would have the pieces to later here that they wouldn't have the furniture until the 18rh of this month and no time when we will have a delivery ,we will not be using or referring Ashley to any of our friends
I have purchased several peices of furniture over the years from Ashley. I love the style but the quality seems to be going down hill. I'm extremely disappointed to learn that the "protection plan" that they pretty much strong arm you to buy really covers nothing structural with the furniture! Folks don't buy this is you can avoid it!! I purchased a $1600 table and a peice of the chair broke and I waited months to call because I thought I had 5 years under the fancy plan to learn it wasn't covered, but luckily it is under the manufacturer warranty which is for 1 year after you purchase. News to me!! I made the window by 9 days. They never have openly told me (verbally, I'm sure it's in fine print somewhere) that there is a manufacturer warranty. Would have loved to know this since our couch broke within 6 months of buying it!!!! I just thought I was screwed. Be aware of what they cover and what they pretend to cover. Wish someone would have told me, we now sit in a saggy sectional that is broken until we can afford a new one.
Came here in search of a new sectional, Carlos was the gentleman that helped me out. He showed me a variety of sectionals, all very nice. I already knew exactly what I wanted, unfortunately they didn’t have it at this location so he made a call to the other store on River City Dr, so I drove down there and a wonderful lady named Allie, helped me out. I ended up going back the same day to buy the oversized ottoman that goes with the couch. They were both amazing sales associates, the managers should be very proud to have them be apart of their team. If we ever need another piece of furniture, I will return to both of them.

My husband and I decided that after having our mattress and box spring for just short of 10 years, it was time to get a new set. Since we were in the area one day, we decided to stop by Ashley HomeStore. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Allison! We let her know that we were looking for a new mattress set and gave her our budget. From there, she took us back and started having us lay on some different models. She’d get our input after laying on one and go from there to find what we felt worked the best. 8 months later and we have absolutely no regrets! Two months ago, we were in need of a new desk. We came back in and she helped us find the one we fell in love with. Two of our little ones needed beds too, so we ended up with two full size beds plus mattresses that our kids enjoy! That’s not all, y’all. Allison was able to help me find some new pieces for our master bedroom that tie together perfectly with some antique pieces that I inherited. It feels amazing to me to be able to have a beautiful mix of old and new in my home and everything flows together so well! Allison listens thoroughly to what you need and want and finds a way to make everything work. The only thing I really don’t recommend is financing with AcceptanceNow. The first word in that title is a joke as they aren’t very accepting and I found the woman working for them to be very rude. AcceptanceNow also does not accept returns on any leased furniture, so beware. If you’re still reading this, Allison=Yes, AcceptanceNow=No. PS: If you’re there and Miss Allison happens to have the day off, ask for Drew—he’ll be glad to help you out! (But seriously, ask for Allison!)

I found some issues with a "Hot Deal" purchase I made after receiving the delivery at my home. Disclosure as to why it was a "Hot Deal" would have been nice. Especially, since there is a no refund or exchange policy on a "Hot Deal" sale.

We’ve purchased a bedroom set from Ashley HomeStore (St Johns Town Center location) on May 12, 2018 with a promise that we will be contacted later to schedule for delivery on May 19. Around May 19th we started to get delay calls from Customer Service stating that they do not have needed items in stock and that the dates were moving out. Eventually we were forced to agree to a partial delivery on May 30, of bed and 2 nightstands. One of the night stands was damaged; they took the nightstand back but could not find replacement for almost 2 weeks. Nightstand was eventually delivered on May 13. In the meantime we spoke numerous times with Customer Service and Corporate, who advised us to work our issues through the store. So we spoke with: 1) Miracle on 6/5/2018 who promised to look into the issue and call the next day, she never did; 2) David Franklin (the sales person who sold us the set) on 6/7/2018 who said he will be “on the looking out”, I’ve asked to speak with the store manager but was told by David that she is out and will be back in 2 days; 3) James (manager on duty) on 6/18/2018 who stated that our only option is to cancel the dresser (which is not acceptable since we cannot have a partially empty room) and who also stated that the store manager is out but promised that she will call us back the next day and that she will be working 12 to 9. 4) With no call back, we called the store again on 6/19/2018, being told that store manager is not there, spoke with James again who said store manager said “OK”. Lesson learned: we should have never agreed to receive a partial order since now we are told that according to their policy all sales are final, however the fact that we did not get the full delivery does not seem to make any difference to the store. They refused to pick up the furniture that they’ve delivered and they keep extending delivery date of the dresser every week (at this point nobody even makes the calls). We were told by James that the furniture is actually manufactured by Ashley, so it is unclear why there is such a drastic delay if there is no dependency on 3rd party vendor. Ironically enough if you check their website that item is still available and shows as “usually delivered in 2-3 weeks”.
Lots of choices. My salesperson Jack, was very patient and educated in the products. Keep up the good work!!

Where do I begin... Well I have bought from Ashley Furniture in the past but never needed to completely furnish an entire apartment before. So when I walked in I was greeted by Allison Watts. So being a guy and having absolutely no decorating experience at all we looked at every single piece they had. I had a floor plan for my apartment and we went room by room. We spent 3 hours picking stuff out it was fun. THEN... I didn't get the apartment I wanted. So me and Allison did it all over again because the layout was different another 3 hours!! She didn't rush me, and she assured me the best price and not one time did she try to sell me something I didnt want or need. It was an amazing experience... Well 2 weeks later the delivery finally came. On time and no mess ups. The guys were professional and gentle with the 8k merchandise. Best experience buying ever. Thank you Allison and the Ashley Furniture team!! Sincerely one happy customer. :)

Carlos was great help whenever we had questions about the sofa sectionals and what different dimensions we could achieve when arranging various sections together.

STAY AWAY! The sales folks in the store are great, but the quality of the items sold and the delivery service is a joke. They will deliver broken items, then refer you to their "corporate office" to handle replacement/refund. GOOD LUCK getting anything logical out of these folks; it's like dealing with Comcast customer service. I'm now 0-2 with Ashley products and will never give any one of their stores (they are franchised, btw) another dollar.

I left a good review for the sales agent. But now it's time for delivery and their customer service is terrible. Left message confirming delivery address since no one in customer service answered phones. Now they say they can't deliver on scheduled date because they have no confirmation from me.. WHAT??? Now I have to make some sort of new inconvenient arrangements since I travel for work. Extremely upset!
For my husband and myself, furniture buying ranks on par with car buying and getting a root canal. Today's experience was a pleasant surprise thanks to the young salesperson who met us as we entered the store. Brendan Borgers was the consummate salesperson: polite, informative, kind, helpful. He never hovered, nor rushed us. He listened to our needs, offered advice, but never tried to talk us into buying something we didn't want. We left, having purchased exactly the right item for us and feeling confident about our purchase. Thanks to Brendan, our experience at this Ashley store was very pleasant. We'll not hesitate to recommend him and this store to others.
DO NOT PURCHASE!!!! They will make you purchase the insurance in “order to get you the deal” and the Insurance company “Platinum Warranty Service” out of Delray Beach, will find any excuse not to cover you when you do have a claim. Straight up got called a liar over the phone simply because they don’t listen to you when you are telling them what happened, that’s how professional they are. Called back “customer satisfaction” for Ashley Furniture and pretty much was given the “oh well, tough luck and don’t care if you had a bad experience” deal. Not only that but the furniture is extremely overpriced for the quality, delivery takes forever and the sales experience makes you feel like you are in a timeshare presentation. I have purchased upwards of $6,000 of furniture from them in the past 3 years. Lost a customer for life.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Sneaky sales rep and my delivery was changed multiple times without my knowledge and they made up a lie that i said it was okay to deliver my furniture months after the schedule date. Buyer beware. Their delivery is the worst. I will never shop here again!!!

We set our delivery date when we purchased our furniture. They called to confirm a few days later and I missed their call so they cancelled our delivery day. I'm not impressed. I really hope the furniture is better than the delivery *I paid for*!
We came in today looking for a specific coffee table set, and Allison greeted us. Allison made it so easy for us and even helped us with the purchase. My husband and I shopped there this afternoon for at least an hour or more. We sat on every leather & leather match sectional set they had on display. We especially were interested in recliners with power headrests since he is taller than myself. We sat, we reclined, we discussed each set, we pushed buttons galore! And we even found something we liked and were ready to buy.... only one problem - not one "sales associate", "customer service rep", or whatever else they would like to be called so much as said "hello", "let me know if I can help" etc. Some of them, I could tell were busy, but there were several others either on their own phones or talking with each other. No Sale! Not Today, Not Ever. Didn't see any reason to visit again. Would rate this a 1/2 star or no star if I could - it would better reflect our visit.

The staff greeted us when we arrived and wished us well when we left, but no one came to offer us assistance during our visit. No one told us if any sales or promo being offered. The staff did not show any interest in the fact they we were there and it wasn't many people there at 2:30 in the afternoon. Very poor customer service. I wish I worked for the corporate office or secret shopper. I will not return and I will let my friends, co-workers of the lack luster customer service.

I was told that they priced matched to the NEX. I found the exact same bedroom set at the NEX for close to 800 dollars less. I brought in the ad and was told that they would not price match that low. Then the rude employee tried to talk to me like I was a 5 year old. Sad part is I was getting ready to also buy a close to 4000 dollar mattress set from them. Guess they prefer to not make sales.

Will not go back to this store ever, nor would I recommend them to anyone. Went to this store to find a bedroom set, after finding the bedroom set I went home to make sure it fit, the store offered to go ahead and have me buy it and cancel if I needed to, to save me the trip back and forth to find out. It did not fit where I was going to put it so I called back the next day to cancel. this was back in may. I find out that they did not cancel the order, they suspended it till December. It is now nearly 4 months after the cancelation and they are still showing up on my credit as if I am buying it. this store is also is like a car dealership, don't go unless you want someone to bug you the whole time, you cant just look around and shop, someone has to always bug you.

This is not my first time shopping there I-Ready enjoy shopping at Ashely furniture. The staff there are very POLITE and Professional. I always get a very good deals on my purchase. They will work with you and give you a GOOD DEAL on everything in there store. I always ask for Mr. Lee Alexander when I go there.. Mr. Lee Alexander will worked with you and give you a fantastic deal a very good price that you can't beat. The only thing I don't like is you have to pay for your furniture that you purchase to be delivered to my home $200. I just want to say thank you Mr. Lee Alexander, the manager and Deborah Asst... I bought a house and purchasing furniture for my new house from this store was more stressful than buying the house. The staff is uneducated on their polocy and procedures, the misinformation and communication is a nightmare to say the least. Went their again today( a year later) seeing as I already have an account opened and nothing has changed. The manager was extremely rude and the sales person was not friendly either. The only positive experience I have had here is with Leah from guest services! Thank you Leah from guest services for being so educated in your department and for your positive attitude!

Our sales associate Allison Watts went above and beyond helping us with the selection and purchase of our furniture. From the minute we walked through the door Allison made us feel welcome and like we were family.
So far the experience has not been good. My reclining mechanism broke about 2 weeks after receiving the furniture. I called the store and they ordered the part and had it shipped to my house. I have had the part for 1 month now and no one has contacted me to replace it. I called the store back and was told that they have an outside vendor that handles their repairs and that they would call his wife and ask her to give me a call to schedule. This is unacceptable. I will not purchase anything else from Ashley.

2.5 stars.....Picking out and purchasing the pieces was the easy part...the wait and issues getting the furniture delivered was a nightmare. It's been four weeks and counting and we still haven't gotten all of our furniture yet-mainly our mattress set! we get a date and then we get a phone call that the date has changed. Then we get a couple of pieces but some stuff came scratched missing parts. Now we're being told it's going to be another month before we get pout living room set. Most of the team was super helpful when it came to resolving the issues but this whole experience has been one inconvenience after another. Not sure I'll buy with them again.

They lie lie... told me 24 months no interest I got nailed with 1000 dollar interest fee after a year. no buy out offer or anything. The furniture is total junk falls apart. They had to replace night stand 3 times due to defects. Horrible customer service I wouldn't put this furniture in a dog house.

Our experience was great! Allison who was our sales rep was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. She listened to our needs and provided us with the best recommendation when we were shopping for a new bed. She gave a great sleep test demonstration. We purchased a Stearns and Foster bed and adjustable base. Great price and we are excited to be sleeping in it very soon! The back office staff was not very friendly but thankfully Allison made up for all that. We are proud to call her our new friend! Definitely ask for her should you go in. She's from "down under" so you'll know her by her Australian accent.

I just left there but my experience there was soo nice I just had to share. I've been saving up for an Apartment but I won't be ready for a good year or two but.. having moved many times growing up I know how moving around can be really hectic and stressful. So I've been doing some early browsing to get an idea of everything I need. I walked in Ashley's not really expecting much but Everyone was really friendly and Alison who Is the bedding specialist greeted me with warmth and sincerity. She was so nice and helpful! And she walked me through to the right beds that fit my needs. When you work nights your sleep schedule can be pretty crazy. And although I though I wasn't able to buy just yet, When the right time comes I'll know exactly where to go for my household needs. Thanks Ashley's. 😊

Ask for Gabby!! She is an absolute joy. Not pushy whatsoever; she doesn't want unhappy customers, and she understands that furniture is a large purchase. She was knowledgeable, quick with all of the answers, and overall very pleasant to work with. We chose a dining room set with her, and honestly, we had no clue that we'd even be making the decision in one trip...without her problem solving skills, working with our unique budget, and living space, I'm sure we wouldn't have. This was a "searching for the right office furniture trip", I was helped by Randall Tisdale. Randall was very willing to try to help me find what I was looking, showing me options, looking on their website, measuring desks for me, giving me arrangement ideas based on pictures I showed him of my home office. He was extremely kind and helpful, along with very personable. Ask for him when you visit, a true asset to his company.
Went looking for a king size bed, Allison helped me the whole way and a few hours later I ended up with a new mattress and bed frame! Wonderful store and great workers. Will definitely go back for any furniture needs.
We were updating our daughter's bedroom set and Gabby was the sales associate that assisted us. She was so helpful with the whole process and extremely knowledgeable which impressed me so much. Not once did she have to "go ask someone else" for more input on anything. She was such a delight and made the whole experience and transaction smooth and flawless. We do plan on purchasing more furniture in the future and Gabby will be the only one we go to.
Sales team member Randall was extremely friendly, informative, and helpful. Prices were a bit higher than some other furniture stores but show room had a large selection.
We were greeted by Felicia, who was very friendly and pleasant. We were however accosted by no less than 4 other sales people while we were looking at furniture. Felicia was the sales person who helped get us their final prices. . Ashley was having a very misleading presidents day sale where they offer up to 25% off but it's only on certain groups and you have to buy the entire group to qualify. Even though we were looking to purchase over $6000 worth of furniture we didn't qualify for any presidents day discount. They did offer us a 22.6% discount if we paid cash.

I would highly recommend asking for her personally if you are in search of furniture and are looking for that perfect piece to complete any room. I came into Ashley Furniture today undecided about purchasing furniture. I left out today a completely satisfied customer. I purchased a bed and dining room set. Toni, is an amazing sales team member. She is a great asset to this organization.

So annoyed, Allison told us that when the distribution center calls us to confirm delivery we could pick the time....this is not true....I called the store manager and he did nothing but transfer me over the distribution center. There they told me if I changed the delivery date even today I would have to pay the $70.

Went into the store in October 2016 wanting to pick out a bed to get in the near future. Was met by a wonderful sales representative Allison Watts that provided me with all the answers to my questions with a very refreshing experience. Allison was very upfront and honest about everything and really made me feel like she was trying to help me as a customer to find the perfect bed at a great price. Went back in January 2017 and bought what she helped me pick out and test to make sure it was perfect, got me an amazing deal and then double checked with me a few weeks later to make sure everything was still good and how i was liking my mattress. If you are ever looking for good customer service ask for Allison.

Instead of paying 1k for our furniture we will be paying 3k for it after its all said and done. They should have negative stars for this place. Do not buy anything from here!!!
This location RIVER CITY MARKETPLACE is the worst worst worst location. We went there looking for kids bedroom furniture, found 2 different sets and decided we'll go with the deal the sales guy gave us. When I went back to sign for my kids father( He's in the military and had to travel back overseas) they informed me i can't sign for him. Mind you we were quoted a price and already have all account details setup. And was told by manager that all I needed to do now was come in to sign. I ask why can't I sign if I have power of attorney?. No one had any logical answer for me other than a "Uh the district manager said No flat out. I ask for corporate number left a message with rep, for District Manager to call me which he did as i waited in store. I explained to him what i was told initially that I can sign. Only for him to tell me that they don't it. However a few sales rep said differently that the previous district manager did accept signatures with PoA. The entire process was a headache and waste of time and energy spent. Btw they really should get a Warehouse. Why should a person have to wait a month for a bed!!!!!!!! Absurd
I would give them 0 stars if it were possible. High delivery costs that took 6 weeks longer than the 4 weeks were initially told. Customer service is unprofessional and rude. No one seems to understand anything about any part of the process. Salesman was nice but clueless about everything he was selling or any other part of the purchasing process. Spent over three thousand dollars, delivery delayed a month and a half and received a measly $50 gift card for the "inconvenience" of having to reschedule time off for delivery dates that were canceled and changed 3 separate times. I won't be using the gift card or selling it online. It's only good for scooping out cat litter boxes. This place is so terrible I unfriended everyone named Ashley I know on Facebook for the audacity of sharing a name with this bundle of ****trumpets they call a company
No refunds because they don't have a warehouse. They should improve the quality of customer service by just getting a warehouse. Not that hard.
Horrible customer service. Delivery was a nightmare and after waiting three weeks only received part of my order and it's been another two weeks and I still have not received my table. Love seat arrived with mixed match legs and now I'm being told it may be a month before they can get me the correct legs. If I could do it again I would take my 10k and spend it with another store. Stay away from these people!!!
Ghastly customer experience. Waited 3 months and arrival date kept getting pushed back . No one from the store after 7 attempts would call back . Customer service manger from the distribution center tried to help but store was a " non corporate" franchise . A horrible place to do business!

Had a horrible experience at this store. Was lied to by our salesman about the cancellation policy . We were in the store two different times and when we decided to purchase our furniture, we got caught in the middle of the sales people fighting who gets the commission. When I went to speak with the manager I think his name was Frank he was very rude and arrogant. We used to buy all of our furniture and had great experiences from Ashley in Bluffton, Sc ,but will never purchase another item from Ashly again based of how we were treated at this store in the Saint Johns town center.
OMG!!!! Do not shop here! My salesman were so unprofessional and I wanted to leave but I really needed furniture I just moved here. After I paid for everything I realized they put the warrant on all my items without me knowing. When I asked about it the sales guy said "well I don't like selling anything without a warranty" when I tried to get a refund I had to wait for a manager. Which he was busy. So I had to leave. When I called many many times I never recieved a call back. Weeks. My stuff ended up coming and the bed came broken. Thankfully they took it and I ended up paying for box springs which I didn't want. I called corporate they said I can get a refund. called the store they said store credit only and he has to call me back about my refund for my warranty. He never has. I called corporate many times. They said its up to the store each store has different policies. Why is there a corporate?! I don't know. My salesman is never there or he is busy. I still am out over $1000 waiting to get refunded. One bed is still missing s piece so my son can't use his bed it's just on pieces on the floor. It's been nearly a mth. Still waiting. Even shopping it was miserable. The guy was as if he came right off the streets and put a shirt on and said he worked there. He didn't know anything he couldn't figure out the calculator he couldn't add simple numbers he couldn't figure out the sales he wasn't even sure really how to work the computer to find my items. We sat there for an hour trying to figure it out. I am absolutely mad at myself for not leaving. Even walking out I was questioning myself of "what am I doing! This store is ridiculous and I just dropped thousands and nothing was clear".
not the best service. they were super pushy about selling us something, then when we didn't want to finance they actually had us in the store for about 3 hours for a couch and we tried leaving multiple times. then once we got the deal done they told us we wouldn't get our furniture for an entire month! Sorry, not shopping there EVER again.
This furniture is not good, my bed design too, if you want to give back to them, but also deducting money, but delivery is slow to be 10-14 days.
I purchased a leather couch and love seat from this store, just a couple of years later the leather (bonded leather) is peeling from the fabric backing and it looks like a bad case of skin peeling off your body after a bad sunburn. I contacted the store who only wanted to sell me a new living room set. I then contacted Ashley Furniture who refused to assist with the product they sold and stated that they discontinued the item. My suggestion is to not purchase furniture from Ashley Furniture, this store or any Ashley Furniture line carried in other stores as an authorized sales location of Ashley Furniture.
we bought couch, love seat, and recliner and the covering on love seat and couch are peeling off or separating it is the biggest mess you have ever seen nobody wants to do anything about. so to Ashley furniture we will not have another piece in our house, and as for the rating how about negative stars.,. and by the way we had to have 3 recliners before we got one that would work.
Wonderful service. Sales staff was great! Sarah was very helpful and we are looking forward to our new living room set arriving this week! as far as sales people hovering...I just spoke with Sarah and one Manager who were both very pleasant. just like a car dealership where sales people work on a commission..you should expect to be approached. why are people surprised by that?
Customer service is awful and the manager is not helpful. My couch was supposed to be delivered on the 30th of October (10 days after I purchased it) I called costumer service on the 30th and they told me it should be in Jacksonville on the 1st. I then called today, the 1st, and the manager told me everything was here but they could not schedule my delivery until November 5th. There is no since of urgency from the company. I will never bring business to Ashley furniture again. Update: I called cooperate, turns out they bought the rights to use the name but are not a true Ashley furniture home store, they just sell their products. Cooperate cannot help, so with a terrible manager any issues that occur you are out of luck.
Just about every aspect of my first experience with Ashley Furniture was terrible. High pressure sales, poor delivery (took forever and then still had the chairs for the table on back order), lack of customer service, trying to force unwanted services (furniture warranty), Probably the worst customer experience I have ever had.
This place is full of liars and scam artists. I purchased an couch set and ottoman six months ago and the ottoman broke due to poor wood quality. I was told it would not be covered. I also purchased a 5 year warranty for $349.99 that didn't cover it. The sales rep in store told me everything is covered including pet scratches, it covers nothing. Stay away from this place. The furniture is overpriced junk and the staff is terrible.
Sales person hovered and asked a lot of questions I was clear that I had a small amount of time and just wanted to see what they had. Within 15 minutes she introduced me to a manager and hogged my husband who I needed to look at items with talk about when we were moving and what we were looking for. Nothing against these people personally but if this is what the national chain expects these people do it's VERY distracting and difficult to get what I need to do when I am on a time budget! Was very annoyed and don't see myself coming back despite a couple small pieces I thought were nice.
