We had such a great experience with Alex at Ashley HomeStore in St John’s Town Center.We first met him while shopping for a mattress for my daughter. He was incredibly patient and helpful, giving us plenty of space to browse and test out mattresses without ever being pushy or hovering. Even though he’s still new and didn’t have business cards yet, he took the time to make sure we had his name for when we were ready. When we came back, Alex immediately remembered us and the exact mattresses we were considering. He really listened to our budget and worked with us to get a price that made sense. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine customer service made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Highly recommend asking for Alex if you visit!

Just visited Ashley’s Furniture store in Jacksonville and had Russell help me out finding the perfect bed frame for my new apartment home and she was amazing and sat with me through the entire process and I got my bed frame coming in the mail soon! Thank you so much 10/10 service.

We love our chair, it’s so soft and very comfortable. I wish they were more transparent about the set up process. They made it sound like it was hard and insisted I pay for the set up service. I understand this store sells many different products but it would have been very mindful if someone told me the chair is literally 2 pieces. The delivery guys came in, and set up the chair within 15 seconds, it was almost a joke 😆 anyways that’s my only complaint because I paid extra for 2 guys to plug and play a chair for me I almost felt embarrassed

Visited your store today with every intention of purchasing a sofa & recliner. We were greeted by someone that was in his first week with Ashley. No problem at all. We all have to start somewhere. He went to find out about the sofa we were interested in. He told us it wasn’t on the floor but we could order it. And proceeded to tell us there were similar sofas on the floor. I asked if we were just supposed to browse around. He said yes. Again that’s ok I suppose. So we’re leaving the store & asked another associate if we order the sofa & don’t like it when it arrives, what happens. He said we’re responsible for the sofa. We’ve never sat on it, seen it person. We asked if he was sure. He was very dismissive. I can assure you that we are hoping to furnish our entire condo. Ashley lost business today. And this has happened in the past but we wanted to give Ashley another chance. No one cared if we gave you our business or not.

We told the sales associate multiple times during our purchase we wanted to use the in house financing instead of the wells Fargo option because we were preparing to buy a house and did not want it to affect our credit. He was VERY pushy about using the Wells Fargo option to which we declined MULTIPLE TIMES and even looked at the iPad to make sure it was the correct option. We finish our transaction and get an inquiry on our credit for WELLS FARGO credit line that DROPPED our credit score. I don't know what kind of incentive they get for pushing wells Fargo, but he was incredibly sneaky and dishonest! We will not be back!

Don’t waste your time! Miscommunication. Nothing but miscommunication. Sales went great but after the sale it goes downhill fast. They don’t tell you all the information until after you pay and sign on the dotted line. I ordered 3 mattresses. I was under the impression I was taking them home the same day. Then after payment, they tacked on 200.00 and tell you they will deliver within 1-2 weeks (which was far from accurate). Long story short. I called last week which was the two week marker bc I never heard from anyone and I was told it would be this week for delivery. I had to call again because I didn’t get a call or anything. At random I received a text wanting me to schedule for delivery another week out. So I called and Well they pushed me off another week. So at this point it almost a month before we will receive the mattresses. Absolutely ridiculous. I called customer service and still no help with a resolution. They just give you more misinformation that contradicts what other reps tell you, Basically they tell you whatever to get you off the phone. I will never order from Ashley Furniture again and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They don’t care about their customers at all, just the money.

I just recently purchased a reclining chair from Ashley furniture at the Jaxsonville town center. I paid for an extended five-year warranty on the product before even having it shipped out to my house. I received the product and tried to put it together first it would not go together correctly. The back brush clips were turned at a 45° angle instead of straightened. When I finally got it to lock into place and have it recline, it would not recline. I reached out to customer service about the warranty. They could not find it in the system, so I sent the a receipt of my purchase showing the warranty. Astonished they then told me they would not honor the warranty that it was a store issue. I called to the store and was treated with the utmost disrespect. I was told even though I purchased the warranty, they would not honor it that I had to have a technician come out and it would cost $110. That was the first quote then another person told me they would have to charge me $119. I asked to speak to the general manager on location again instead of trying to resolve the issue and keep a happy customer. He too, would not help with the issue. I then provided the general manager A noticeable claim Statement. They were given 10 days to Before: A complaint will be filed to Attorney General’s Office – Consumer Protection Division • Filing a small claims lawsuit for the cost of the item, court fees, attorney fees, and related expenses • Reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau and relevant public review platforms. I previously got a response email from the owner of the store who told me to go email customer relations. I did that and what a joke that was. I was treated again with the utmost disrespect. With they way customer service, their employees treat people it won’t be long before people realize this is not a place to do business with. I have purchased items prior when it was under different owners and management, it used to be a great place to do business with. This is not the case anymore. Ashley furniture has lost mine and my families business on any future purchases going forward.

Ashley’s Furniture at the St. John’s Townscenter has an extended Memorial Day sale so I stopped by to check it out. As we walked in Gerard greeted us and immediately informed us about the sale and clearance pieces throughout the store. They have such a wide selection of items that you can lose track of time in there. I was casually searching for a sectional for a small space. Gerard just happened to check in with me later to see if we had any questions. I asked what I thought was a dumb question and it turned out he had the solution for my sectional hunt! They didn't have the sofa that I wanted in their storeroom, so I got talked into buying a different one for the same price. When it got delivered, we found out that it was broken after the guys that delivered it left. So now we have to call warranty. They didn't respond for 3 days. They are shipping the part to us and when it arrives we need to call them to schedule the repair man out to fix it. Very disappointing.

Was told for the $99 delivery that would include return if I didn’t like the furniture. Felt like that was worth it. Delivery guys were dirty and didn’t cover their shoes and in a rush. Didn’t end up liking the furniture. It looked and felt cheap. Called for return. Again, in a hurry, dirty shoes, no shoe covers and wanted to roll their dirty dolly on my light carpet. When I got the return credit there was a 25% restocking fee. First I heard of that! Funny that wasn’t mentioned when they were “selling me on it”. I will never shop here again. Terrible customer service.

Horrible experience, horrible products. Purchased a living room sectional couch, damaged. Purchased a dining room table and chairs, table damaged, purchased 2 living room shelves. One was put together backwards and has scratches on it. They came out replaced damaged couch part, repaired dining room table, wanted to take apart the shelf that is defective and fix it in my home. Doesn’t fix scratches, and I feel this is unacceptable as nothing goes back together once taken apart. I wanted a new shelf, they told me they will not replace it. Very unhappy as I just relocated from SC to Florida and was excited to have new furniture. Now I’m left with a backwards shelf in my living room. Spent alot of money on bad products and bad customer service. Will never buy from Ashley’s again.

Very disappointed in the extra/extended warranty. Purchased it for an originally $6000 couch that we got for $3k because of a sale. We accidentally put a date that was beyond 30 days when filing a claim (the handle broke off the manual recliner). And they rejected it and said they won’t cover the repair. When speaking to supervisor, they too said there’s nothing they can do and they won’t fix it. So the fact that we purchased an expensive couch and the extended warranty, and they’re not standing by their product or warranty, we will not be purchasing from them again.

Gerard was great to work with no pressure on making a sale provide me with multiple options and made the buying experience very easy. Definitely would continue to do business because of him.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Please take your money somewhere else. The customer service for Ashley is absolutely INSANE. You will have the hardest time getting someone to delivery and show the smallest amount of compassion. I ordered a bed in February and i am still dealing with Ashleys to sort stuff out and it has been the worst time ever. Its been 3 months of me trying to get help from them. They do not care for their customers.

Ashley’s furniture is one of the worst companies to purchase furniture from. Spent well over a year trying to get my furniture fixed, and not make noise or have any damage to them. ONE YEAR. Finally had our couch swapped, after one delivery 2 parts were horrible, low quality and had manufactured damage, second swap arrived and same thing happened even though it was supposed to be inspected. Spend another 4 months trying to get the couch situated just for Ashley’s to state they WONT do anything to help.. so paid $5k and have damaged furniture. Reply to owner: I’ve already emailed that email, no one responds to you at that email. You guys don’t seem to care just copy and paste your response to every review. I’ve spoken with Orlando already, now it looks like I need to reach the district manager for Ashley’s for the region.

DONT BUY ASHLEYS. There products are super cheaply made. And their insurance guardian is a scam never add it on to your bill! NEVER BUYING ASHELYS AGAIN.

I was told by a salesman my furniture was on stock and could be delivered the following week. I paid and then learned after calling to find out delivery date that it wasn’t in stock and could take at least 3 weeks to get to warehouse before it could even be scheduled for delivery. Total baiting! Meanwhile you have payment in full while I wait for delivery! Frankly If they had just been honest I would have picked out something else that was readily available. Dishonest and unethical. Angry and frustrated!!!!

Absolute nightmare. Had a bed delivered and when they were assembling it they stated it some parts were missing and not put in the box which the guys apologized not their fault. So they end up ordering it off their end with their service rep she said it would take 7-10 days and it will be delivered to my house and to call once received. I received the parts and i called as i was told and she said it would take ANOTHER 7-10 days to have someone come out and put the rest together and as i am looking at the package i decide to open it and half the parts that are needed wasnt even in the box so i call back and she says she will have someone reach out to me and no one ever calls not even with an update or a apology for the inconvenience. Purchased a bed 3 weeks ago that cant even be used. Save your money and time and shop somewhere else. 4/4 update They replied to the review making it seem like they actually care. I ended up sending a email and no reply or even a phone call. If i could give it 0 stars i would. Spend your money somewhere else. I wouldnt want someone else going through this.
