Josh offered the appropriate coverages and delivery options that led to our purchase after leaving the physical store. I ordered the Emilia 5-piece Sectional and am very happy with it. It did arrive with minor warehouse damage to the bottom, but with the rest of the positive experience, I still see it warranting a 5 star review. Josh went above and beyond by responding to my messages even on his day off. I have not seen this dedication from others and plan to purchase from Josh at Ashley for any future furnishing needs. Thank you Josh.

Extremely trashy, poor customer service tall young male manager that sits at desk in back of store has a uncaring attitude towards customer disappointments and service recovery and acts almost condescending when you go to him about a problem. He is the wrong person for the job. The entire Ashley furniture is trashy from manager, delivery to the dispatch team. Be careful buying furniture from this company will never arrive, or it will be damaged and you will get the response like oh well or have to go through red tape. I would recommend ROOMS TO GO or AMERICAN SIGNATURE FURNITURE way better customer service experience than Ashley trash out furniture.

Ashley Furniture is a disrespectful company that treats Asian customers like garbage. If you are Asian, do yourself a favor and DO NOT shop here. My mom spent thousands of dollars at Ashley Furniture for her new home. This was a huge and meaningful moment for her, and we trusted Ashley because they claim to be a “reputable” brand. That turned out to be a complete lie. The problems started immediately: • Delivery arrived later than promised • Wrong items were sent • Parts were missing • Some furniture arrived broken • We paid for unpacking and assembly, yet the delivery team refused to assemble anything Every single issue was Ashley’s fault. When my mon went back to the store to explain the mess THEY created and asked for solutions, the staff laughed in my mom’s face. Yes — laughed. No apology. No accountability. Just mocking behavior and arrogance. They clearly thought my mom was an Asian woman they could disrespect, dismiss, and humiliate. That is unacceptable. She is a paying customer, not someone you get to laugh at after taking her money. Once they get your money, they don’t care if your furniture is broken, incomplete, or unusable. And if you complain? They mock you. This company should be ashamed of itself. Between the damaged products, failed services, and outright mistreatment, this was one of the worst retail experiences we have ever had. Avoid Ashley Furniture at all costs!!!

I payed in total almost $2,000 for our table , delivery , and set up. The day of the delivery I had absolutely no heads up, call or text to notify me they were on the way. I was not able to be home luckily my brother in law was at my house and let the delivery guys in, when they arrived the delivery guys asked where we wanted our table , and my brother in law showed them the dining room and where to set It. They brought it in and sat it down like this, took this photo and said that we would set it up ourself and left . I reached out to Ashley explaining what was going on, the manager admitted they’re supposed to get pre approval from the manager that it is okay to leave the furniture unbuilt even though it was payed for to be assembled, they did not call the manager and therefore they were sent back to the home about 25 minutes later. My brother in law was outside talking to one gentleman while the other helped himself in the home. When the other gentleman and my brother in law go inside to greet the other delivery guy who’s in the home, he tells us the hardware was apparently missing and he won’t be able to set it up until 1-2 weeks later and I would have to repurchase my hardware. I will now have to change my sons birthday party Dec 19 and Christmas party due to pure incompetence and laziness . Management was argumentative as if we were lying, I was offered is a $50 gift card for the inconvenience instead of a resolution. This was my first experience shopping with Ashley, I will not be furnishing any of my rental properties at Ashley ever again if this isn’t addressed appropriately.

Ashley Furniture has been one of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever had. I paid over $6,000 for furniture that was never properly delivered after months of excuses, delays, and outright incompetence. After being forced to cancel, Ashley still owes me $5,484.73. I received one small partial refund and then… silence. Customer service is a joke. Endless calls, no ownership, no follow-through, and zero urgency when it comes to returning my money. I’ve had to track every charge and refund myself because Ashley clearly doesn’t. No one can give a straight answer, a timeline, or even acknowledge responsibility. This company will happily take your money immediately—but when things go wrong, you’re stuck chasing them for months. For a brand this large, the lack of accountability is embarrassing. If you’re thinking about buying from Ashley Furniture: don’t. Save yourself the stress, the wasted time, and the financial headache. I’m now pursuing other options just to get my money back. Completely unacceptable.

My recent Ashley Furniture delivery was extremely disappointing. I would not consider this a true white-glove experience. The delivery person carried two nightstands at once, which resulted in the bottom nightstand being scratched. The dresser also arrived with visible scratches. I feel like Ashley Furniture failed me as a company. I paid for brand-new items, yet what I received looked almost used. I requested a replacement for the damaged nightstand, but was told the only option was to have someone come out and “touch up” the scratches. That is not acceptable for a product sold as new. Because of this experience, I will not consider purchasing from Ashley Furniture again, nor will I recommend the company to anyone. This situation has left me very dissatisfied and frustrated as a customer.

Russel was a great help when purchasing our new living room furniture at Ashley Furniture. She had a very low pressure approach, but guided us to what we were looking for. It was a very easy process overall.

Purchased a 2k dollar dining room table and chairs couple weeks ago and it was delivered this week. Delivery was fine however all 6 chairs have stripped screws that attached the chair back to the chair frame and couple have wood that's chipped off. Not only that but several chairs were wobbly to the point were bolts were coming loose. I'm not sure if the people that assemble these just rush to put them together and use power tools that shouldn't be used on this type furniture. I not unfortunately have to wait yet again for new chairs, had they just taken these time assembling them in the first place.

I spent almost $3,000 on a couch from Ashley Furniture, and within 4 months it already has rips and terrible wear and tear. I’ve submitted six separate requests for a technician to come out, and not once has anyone called me back. I even went to the store myself and spoke with a manager who was kind and told me to call a specific number — still, no results or follow-up. I later spoke with another manager, who promised someone would call me by the end of the day, but again, no call. When I finally reached a representative over the phone, she told me there were no service tickets on file, put me on hold to create one, and then said she wasn’t sure how it would work since it’s been four months. I also paid $500 extra for a 5-year warranty, and it’s been absolutely useless. This entire experience has been beyond frustrating — terrible product quality and even worse customer service. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again and strongly recommend others to avoid wasting their time and money here.

Gerard is a true professional. Upon entering the establishment he greeted us with a friendly smile. He asked to assist, we said we wanted to browse. Later on we called upon Gerard to assist us with the purchase of a mattress. His professionalism made the transaction quite easy and simple. We have had a terrible experience with this Ashley Furniture. We purchased a couch from them at the end of September and our customer representative Samer said it would take 1-4 weeks; I even asked if there was a potential for back order on this item and he assured me that it would be within the 1-4 week timeline. Well here we are on week 6 with no couch, and are now being told 4-5 more weeks to receive it. We are extremely disappointed in this process. Ashley Furniture is doing absolutely nothing to make up for this. Will likely be getting a refund and will never purchase another item from them again.

Pretty disappointed in the service we received on our most recent visit. We went in twice in 1 weekend. Saturday (1st visit): We wanted to see the dining tables we were thinking about and to take measurements, but not 100% sure and had a couple more stops at other furniture stores in the area. Initially the sales person was understanding that we were just looking as we were comparing tables. Eventually she became a little too insistent with the current promotions and eventually brought her manager over to persuade us to buy even further- at that point we felt uncomfortable because we told both of them we weren’t going to buy today, and seemed like the manager didn’t want to take no for an answer. Sunday (2nd visit): Decided on the table and went back to buy it. Bought the table, added on assembly but our salesperson (Justin) lacked adequate customer service. We had a profile with Ashley, since we’ve bought a couple pieces at the outlet- plugged in the profile but never confirmed any of the profile information (address, contact information). After the transaction and reviewing my receipt- the delivery address was wrong and the assembly was not added. Called the customer support line and got some really good representatives that were able to help change the delivery address but nothing they could do about adding the assembly- at that point. The last representative submitted a request for management to call me by end of day because there was some room for improvement in their process- never got the call. If management can be pushy about a sale I would expect attentiveness to a customer after the fact.

The service was very good. Miss Camacho helped us. She was very attentive, explained the entire process to us, and always had a good attitude and was very nice.

Went to Ashley furniture store and had a great experience with David Portbury. He approached my fiance and I was we were discussing our plans to fill out new home in Montana and was very welcoming and genuinely invested in helping find what we were looking for and gave us tips from his experience living in the same area.

David portbury saw my fiance and I sitting on one of couches and asked us about ourselves. After telling him about our upcoming move to Montana he was super kind in sharing tips and advice for the cold weather. He also pointed out perfect couches that would actually fit in my new home. It didnt feel pushy at all and made our experience one that'll definitely bring us back if we have more questions.

The guy who met us at the door was very nice and informative .... until we didnt lay down $20,000 that night for a bed he wanted to sell. He lost interest FAST and got borderline rude. He handed my husband his business card, looked at me and said "take a picture of my card so if he loses it, you'll have it" I did NOT take a picture of it and I tore the card up the second we walked away. I would absolutely not ask to speak with him again, he lost that chance when he got rude when he didnt make the sale right away. This was our first time looking at the adjustable beds and we were only in the store for 30 mins. You should be treated with kindness all the way through....regardless of a sale or not!

I purchased a sofa set about 3 years ago from this store along with a warranty package for coverage. When I filed a claim, the warranty company informed me they no longer do business with Ashley, and since the store ownership has changed, they cannot assist me. I have contacted Ashley’s office multiple times via calls and emails, but have not received help. The fabric on my sofa began peeling within a year, and now about 50% of it has peeled off. Who can help resolve this issue?

I’d give zero stars if I could. The sales team and website clearly indicated that the non-assembly delivery would be “to my doorstep”. I also clearly indicated to the sales team and on the website form when I placed my order that I lived in a second floor apartment. When the delivery finally came (after being rescheduled from its original date), the team dropped it on the first floor and informed me that they could not deliver beyond the first floor. When we called support, they tried to sell me a very costly last minute upgrade to get my item delivered. The rep said this happens all of the time and he felt for me, but that this was policy. It was pay, or do it myself in the rain. This is type of last minute extortion is a wholly unacceptable way to do business. This is the first and last time I buy anything from Ashley.

If you would like to pay an absurd amount of money for a delivery, and have them tell you it’s going to arrive between 2-5pm only to arrive at 9:45 that night, you should shop here. 0/10 would recommend, you can get the same thing from a local mom and pop furniture store and they won’t schedule too many deliveries in one day.

This place is a joke. They stated that they had our furniture we wanted in stock and readily available to be delivered within 2 weeks. It's been over 2 months and today it was supposed to be delivered. We have a house that is on a two lane road. One entire side is a preserve, so nothing is built. But the delivery drivers stated, they couldn't find the house. Im not sure how they couldn't since the homes are in chronological order and we have a large sign with the house number on it near the road. The delivery people proceeded to say they called to get assistance, but we have no missed call at all. Now, they're telling us that we have to wait an additional week to have it delivered instead of trying to deliver it the following day. I couldn't believe that this company would hire people this incompetent. This is also a rental, and now Ashley's furniture is costing us a few GRAND in lost revenue, because we have no furniture because we had the other one removed earlier today with the anticipation that our new furniture was being delivered. I asked to speak with a manager twice and still have yet to get a call. The third time I called the CS rep told me that all managers had left for the day. Seriously!? What is wrong with this company?

UPDATE! Purchased mattress and box springs on 8/8/2025. Followed up on 8/20/2025 to see when items would be delivered only to find out that we were lied to not only by Alex but the store manager. There is no ETA on the box springs because they don’t have any in stock. The earliest on the mattress we purchased would be middle of September. Who sells items out of stock and don’t disclose that with you??? So if you want to be lied to in your face please go see them. If you need to call the store, make sure you understand that they will reroute you to the call center. You won’t be able to talk to anyone at the store. The supervisor at the call center apologized and told me if I needed something today to go to the store and purchase what they had in stock. HA! The only thing I am going to do when I walk in the store is get a refund and take my money elsewhere. We had such a great experience with Alex at Ashley HomeStore in St John’s Town Center.We first met him while shopping for a mattress for my daughter. He was incredibly patient and helpful, giving us plenty of space to browse and test out mattresses without ever being pushy or hovering. Even though he’s still new and didn’t have business cards yet, he took the time to make sure we had his name for when we were ready. When we came back, Alex immediately remembered us and the exact mattresses we were considering. He really listened to our budget and worked with us to get a price that made sense. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine customer service made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Highly recommend asking for Alex if you visit!

Just visited Ashley’s Furniture store in Jacksonville and had Russell help me out finding the perfect bed frame for my new apartment home and she was amazing and sat with me through the entire process and I got my bed frame coming in the mail soon! Thank you so much 10/10 service.

We love our chair, it’s so soft and very comfortable. I wish they were more transparent about the set up process. They made it sound like it was hard and insisted I pay for the set up service. I understand this store sells many different products but it would have been very mindful if someone told me the chair is literally 2 pieces. The delivery guys came in, and set up the chair within 15 seconds, it was almost a joke 😆 anyways that’s my only complaint because I paid extra for 2 guys to plug and play a chair for me I almost felt embarrassed

Visited your store today with every intention of purchasing a sofa & recliner. We were greeted by someone that was in his first week with Ashley. No problem at all. We all have to start somewhere. He went to find out about the sofa we were interested in. He told us it wasn’t on the floor but we could order it. And proceeded to tell us there were similar sofas on the floor. I asked if we were just supposed to browse around. He said yes. Again that’s ok I suppose. So we’re leaving the store & asked another associate if we order the sofa & don’t like it when it arrives, what happens. He said we’re responsible for the sofa. We’ve never sat on it, seen it person. We asked if he was sure. He was very dismissive. I can assure you that we are hoping to furnish our entire condo. Ashley lost business today. And this has happened in the past but we wanted to give Ashley another chance. No one cared if we gave you our business or not.

BUYER BEWARE! We told the sales associate multiple times during our purchase we wanted to use the in house financing instead of the wells Fargo option because we were preparing to buy a house and did not want it to affect our credit. He was VERY pushy about using the Wells Fargo option to which we declined MULTIPLE TIMES and even looked at the iPad to make sure it was the correct option. We finish our transaction and get an inquiry on our credit for WELLS FARGO credit line that DROPPED our credit score. I don't know what kind of incentive they get for pushing wells Fargo, but he was incredibly sneaky and dishonest! We will not be back!
