I have not bought a new set of furniture in ten years and I was really excited. My sales rep nilsa was wonderful and she listened to what I wanted and showed me so many options. Here’s where the review is 1 star. As a paying customer who prepared meticulously for the arrival of new furniture, I am appalled by the unprofessionalism and lack of basic courtesy shown by your delivery team. Prior to the scheduled delivery, I responsibly cleared out my old furniture. The only remaining task was to dismantle my headboard, which required an Allen wrench. While I searched for a solution, the delivery crew arrived and—without any communication—chose to leave my property entirely. I was literally walking outside to inform them that I had found a tool that might work when I realized they were already gone. Within thirty seconds of them leaving, I received a call to reschedule the delivery. Let me be clear: there was no attempt made to inform me directly that they were leaving. There was no knock on the door, no phone call, no message. Just gone. As a customer, I find this behavior disrespectful and unacceptable. Had they simply communicated with me, the issue could have been resolved on the spot. When I called Ashley customer service, I was able to have the team turn around and redeliver the items. However, instead of completing the delivery and installation as agreed upon, they informed me they were only dropping off the furniture because Ashley was “reimbursing me.” I was left with large, heavy items in my home and no assistance, after what was already an incredibly frustrating and avoidable ordeal. I want to stress that I am not someone who complains lightly. I understand the complexities and pressures of customer service. I actively try to approach situations with patience and grace. But this experience crossed the line from inconvenience to disrespect. I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously. I chose Ashley Furniture with the expectation of receiving quality service alongside quality products. Sadly, that trust has been severely undermined.

I came into the store looking for one piece of furniture. Cesar greeted me and told me the layout of the store. He allowed me to roam around looking without any pressure. He periodically checked on me and when I found what I was looking for, it was easy going from there. Horrible service. Everyone in the store refuses to serve you and leaves you alone even though you're in the middle of the crowd. The bed arrived 26 days after I bought it and it was damaged. I came to the store and they didn't provide customer service. They just wanted to sell you something and made you call a hotline because they don't fix problems here. I called Ashley customer service to ask a question about furniture that I was planning to buy online. The customer representative could not speak English well and therefore, did not answer my questions. Then I messaged Ashley USA on Instagram to provide feedback about the bad customer service. Ashley USA did not respond and actually appears to have blocked me on Instagram because at the bottom of my message it says ‘disabled accounts can’t be contacted’. I cannot understand how a reputable business can act so unprofessionally. Instead of trying to assist me, Ashley acted unprofessionally and disrespectfully. I will never purchase anything from Ashley.

Since I was instructed to cancel my order, I no longer have the ability to submit the required documents as per your instructions. This seems like an oversight in your process, and I find it extremely frustrating to face additional hurdles after already experiencing dissatisfaction with my initial purchase. I expect Ashley Furniture to take ownership of resolving this issue promptly and without requiring further unnecessary effort on my part. The delivery was delayed twice, with the staff providing excuses about the truck, which seemed unprofessional. When I decided to pick up the package myself, I had to wait nearly two hours while they located it in the warehouse. To top it off, they informed me that one of the packages was open and possibly used. The lack of professionalism and the constant runaround I received was extremely frustrating. Despite multiple rescheduled deliveries and unreturned calls, I had to visit the store in person to resolve the issue. Thankfully, the in-person service was much better, and they credited the delivery fee to my account within minutes. Overall, the service was disappointing, and I hope Ashley Furniture improves their customer service in the future

My husband and I went shopping for a bedroom set this past weekend, and the experience was exceptional. Shirley was incredibly patient with us, especially since we had our three toddler boys with us—you can imagine how that made the process even longer! Ordered a sofa, ottoman, table. Ottoman didn't come, apparently it was never on the order. Had my mom go to the store since they don't answer the phones and I just moved 3 hours away, they did not want to help or take accountability that a mistake was made somewhere along the line. The manager Mohammed "moe" was condescending and impolite to my mom. Mohammed the salesman was kind. I had told her I wanted to speak to them if they could not come to a solution, which they did not, and he promised to give me a call about the issue that night. I never received a call. I'm not intending to get a "free" ottoman, but at minimum expected good customer service, an apology, and maybe a solution. He wanted to charge $450 for ottoman (when it is $339 online with the same delivery address) AND make me pay another $50 delivery fee when it should've all came tighter to begin with. Just overall lacking in accountability and customer service.

I initially tried to purchase a bed in Davenport. Unfortunately the sales person there was very dismissive when i was not sure if i wanted to make the purchase that day and quickly stop assisting me. a week later decided to go to the Osceola store. The sales person was helpful and to their best ability was willing to accommodate to my wishes, so i made the purchase On the day of delivery i was initially upset to find out that the head board that was being delivered to me was damaged, it even look like it was a return which had been repainted to hide the damage. I refused the order and got a phone call from Caroly the main store customer service manager. She told me that the would replace it the following week. To my surprise i got a call from their dispatcher saying i would get it on Saturday instead. I called Carolyn and she told me the warehouse was attempting to deliver the same damaged one. She said that it had been canceled and that the right one would be delivered nd have the warehouse first inspect the replacement. A day later i got another call telling me that mine had been delayed another month. I called Carolyn who said that this was not right and that she would take care of it. A couple of days later she called me again and told me that we were back on schedule. The delivery team brought it over and helped put it together. Had it not been for Carolyn none of this would have happened. I am very grateful that she works for that store and will do her best to make sure that you are a satisfied customer. I do how ever had issue with their internal department who seem disconnect from the store. Again if it were for people like Carolyn there would be a lot of dissatisfied customers. Thanks Carolyn

So this review is not for the store itself but the company. I had ordered an entertainment set and a bedroom set. After waiting over a month for my delivery because it was back ordered. Which I was not told about until I had to reschedule. My order was not able to be put together because of a manufacturing issue with my bed set. So I had to wait more for a technician to show up, just to tell me I had to have things shipped and then once at the house I can call to have it put together. Also, the wrong middle piece was ordered for the entertainment set and the bridge didn’t sit right. I had to call that in and see if it can be ordered correctly. It’s been a mess and I have just been tossed around between different people with no resolution in sight.

I have waited for a call back in reference to my delayed delivery. I was told in store by the associate I was attended by that my delivery would be partial for most items purchased on a certain date 12/28. I did not receive anything until over a week later on 01/07. I called several times.. I’ve spoken with several reps and have continued to be told to await a call back in reference to this matter. In store everything was great but the follow up has been non existent.

DO NOT buy furniture here!!! We purchased furniture in early January. Delivery wouldn't be until late February. the Salesman, who was very nice, upsold us on premium delivery. Fast forward to today, we take off from work as we received an email confirmation and a text that it would be here within an AM timeframe, it specifically says "Approximately". The time comes and passes, when looking at the tracking they are no where near us and have 8 more stops to make! They really don't have any consideration to following up on their promises. We canceled our order. if you are going to pay thousands of dollars for furniture, and then take a day off just to receive it, you should't be given the run around. Editing to add that when I spoke to someone in chat (and I have the entire transcript), they were not helpful at all and would rather have canceled the order instead of offer some form of credit for the broken brand promise by messing up the delivery window. Ashley Furniture needs to do better with its delivery system and give more accurate timeframes from the jump.

Maria was an amazing sales rep! I felt like I knew her for years. I just moved down to Florida and we were just looking around first to see what are some good deals for beds. I ended up purchasing the dining room set I had saw in Jersey and mattress for my mom. We cannot be more grateful for Maria’s help and making us feel right at home here in Florida. She made the shopping experience smooth and not just trying to sell or over sell to us she showed us what we wanted when we first entered and from there I felt more comfortable with her. Be aware of fraudulent activities in this business! I bought a marble coffee table from them, then I canceled it. They shipped it anyway. That could be a mistake; no problem. But they shipped a broken coffee table to our house and expected us to pay for it! When we opened the box, the top was broken into pieces. I called them and asked them to come and pick it up, but they refused and they claimed that we are responsible for the broken table they have sent us! They charged my credit card $176 for a broken table that we had already cancelled! After months of fights and disputes, I had no choice but to make a formal complaint with Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This business refused to respond the FDACS officer. This is the last communication we received from FDACS officer: "The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services contacted the above referenced business and provided them with the additional information we received from you. The business has chosen not to respond. At this time your complaint is now closed. The closing of this complaint does not prohibit the department from seeking enforcement action regarding any statutory violations that may have occurred." I have not received a refund yet!

I bought Ashley furniture for my new home. I thought I was buying quality. It is now one year and the smell was getting worse every day. My inlaws stayed at the new house and after two weeks they were wheezing and lost their sense of smell. I do not live in the house full time so I was not aware how bad it was getting and was it not getting better. Imagine I spent around $17k for this furniture. When I first spoke to them about this they said it was over a year and I did not have a warranty. What a joke. Read about VOC's and how they are toxic. After fighting with the sales people they gave me to the manager, Daniel, who happens to be very nice, at first said they would replace it but they discontinued that line. Well no kidding it was probably because they had complaints. Then he said I would have to pay the difference for another brand that I think is solid wood and not the glue laminate stuff. After I mentioned that I cant breath and would hire an attorney they called back and said they would replace the bedroom furniture without an up charge. Till that point is all good, all items in stock and ready to deliver. The delivery was scheduled for October 11th. I didn't like to wait for that long bc we recently moved to a new home and needed furniture for the house. We are using a folding table and office chairs at this point for our family meals. But accept that delivery timeframe bc that items were the one the family liked the most. All good, all set, did my concession for the family. On October the 7th received an email to confirm the delivery on the 11th. Did it. All set and willing to have a dinning room for the family's meals. Then the issues started. During the week I received a call that they will need to postpone the delivery regarding the storm. I accept that even though I have other deliveries scheduled that weren't cancelled such as IKEA products and utilities replacements from Whirlpool. Both companies /business honored and respected the commitment with the customer regardless of any situation. I was not happy but didn't complain and understood the situation. Rescheduled for October 21st. During our lunch today, I even joked with the kids that today , Oct 19th, would be our last meal on this improvised table. A couple of minutes ago I received a call informing me that my delivery will need to be rescheduled one more time because they don't have the dining table in stock. What?!
