If you want to find great furniture come here, if you want to be mislead, lied to about delivery, and have your delivery pushed back 3 different times and counting, this is the location. I am here pushed back on delivery 3 different times across 2 weeks, taken off work all 3 days. No one has communicated, I only realize the delivery is pushed back whenever the delivery date passes. Still have no furniture and no answer. They are trying to make a sale, that is all. Once the sale is final and you are out of that door, they have no worry in the world

My experience was very pleasant. I was left alone to look and decide and was promptly helped to finish my purchase.

Do not, I repeat do not buy from the store and do not, I repeat do not fall for their bogus insurance warranty on anything. I wish I would have known what a fraud it is before I purchased and paid for an extended warranty. After trying to file a claim, and being told that the lipstick that fell one time and made a mark was a result of “ accumulation”- which is apparently their internal word for not paying on claims. If you check out the Better Business Bureau, it is awful. The store has been a nightmare, no one ever calls you back and you just get passed around and around as they deny any culpability, I spent a lot of money here and want to make sure I help others not make the same grave mistake. There are plenty of other great furniture stores in Lakeland and surrounding areas so avoid Ashley and do yourself a favor.!!

Heidi is absolutely amazing and I will be buying all future furniture from here and from her. I love how quality the furniture is here, and it's a little more expensive than some other stores but it's absolutely worth it because it lasts.

I went in the store the 20th of December to purchase couches, the sales person literally told me they would get delivered Wednesday before Christmas and couches are not here. I called customer service and they said that I hadn’t called to make an appointment to get it delivered. Um first off that’s not what they told me in store… they told me the day they’d get delivered now I’m in my home with no couches before Christmas didn’t even leave my house just so I could stay and wait for them. This is crazy! what happens for giving a new furniture place (for me) a try.

Victor was wonderful! Needed just a lamp. Found one and didn’t have to track him down. Paid and taking home in less than 30 minutes! Awesome just before Christmas!

It’s been a while since we shopped at Ashley. We found that we received the same great service and competitive pricing on the furniture that we love.

To be clear, this particular Ashley furniture store gets a 5 plus stars for effort and consumer treatment, when they're trying to get you to spend your hard earned money at their store. After they have your money, it's a totally different story and if you have a warranty issue, this will become very clear. Let me start by saying, when we originally purchased the item, I specifically asked the salesman about the warranty, because the recliner is for my parents. My parents are old and don't have time for things breaking prematurely and then having to negotiate a gauntlet, in order to get the item repaired. The salesman told me "if you have any issues, call us and we'll send a tech out to repair the item." Keep in mind, in the last 20 years, my parents have become die hard Ashley fans and even when I suggested going elsewhere for a higher quality product, I was overruled. Here's the short version of what I have had to endure thus far: - Go to the store in person and walk to the big front desk. - I speak with a female at the desk. I tell her that I have an issue with furniture that I purchased at their store and need to make a warranty claim. She blows me off, and in a condescending tone, tells me, you need to call customer service, we have nothing to do with the warranty at this point (true story). - I ask, so you guys cannot help at all with a warranty claim for a piece of furniture that I purchased here? You have nothing to do with that? She doesn't ask for any information, just says, "we don't do that, sorry, you have to call customer service." Well I'm not concerned that she's lazy and hates her job, so I'm not walking away until she clarifies why Ashley has nothing to do with a warranty claim for their furniture. I say, we purchased this a few months ago, it has an issue and you're blowing me off? She provided no guidance, just says, we have nothing to do with the warranty at this point. - So I tell her, the salesman told me if there was a warranty issue, Ashley would take care of us, as long as it was within the warranty period. In a most dismissive tone, she says, HE SHOULDN'T HAVE TOLD YOU THAT, IF HE'S BEEN AROUND, HE KNOWS BETTER! - Finally, she gets my information and says, oh, you purchased this a few months ago (I already told you this, don't look surprised). She says yes, it's within the first year, so you're covered by Ashley (is she kidding, you could have saved me a few minutes by just doing your job to being with). - Now I have to ask for the customer service number, she never offered it. Because, Ashley doesn't have anything to do with warranty issues, you must call a call center in India. - I ask for a copy of the original order, so when I call the call center in India and they ask a million questions, I have all the information. She blows me off and says, they just got an upgraded system, so she can't or doesn't know how to do that (not kidding). Basically, pound sand! After two days of back and forth with a call center in India (both by phone, text and email, they tell me...wait for it...we'll send you the part and if you can't install it yourself, just call us back!!! I'm so exhausted, I say, just send the damn thing! the part is delivered two days later. I'm thinking, okay they got something right...right??? WRONG, it's the absolute wrong part!!! So back on the phone to make another appt!! Maybe they'll get it right in 3 weeks when they send the tech to come fix it! It is appalling and insulting how they treat their customers. Shop there at your own risk. There are too many other furniture places with the same okay quality furniture as Ashley. If you buy something, especially something that breaks because of poor quality, be prepared to be told, we can't help you, call our call center in India. And for anyone who has ever dealt with a call center in India, they're incredibly nice and eager to help, but the language barrier with many of their English skills, are bruuuu-tal! Ashley is like the used car dealer of furniture, It's not the Ashley of 20 or even 10 years ago! Buyer beware!!!

Went to the Lakeland Store and purchased 4 recliners. I want to say that our Saleman Tim was fantastic. We spent over $3000. We asked for delivery and the charge was an additional $350. We opted to pick up. So now we will rent a trailer drive 50 miles to pick up and 50 miles back to unload and assemble. I feel this is ridiculous and will be headed out tomorrow to a different store to purchase my 4 recliners that will deliver for us. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran and I am no spring chick!! I will be canceling our order.

Beau was an absolute gentleman whose assistance was exceptional. He worked to find us exactly what we were looking for. Being from Fort Myers we were not even sure the Lakeland store could even help us with a purchase. But he made it so painless. He is a keeper, for sure. Thanks Beau. My saleslady was great Delivery was a nightmare. Was supposed to be delivered on Sat from 2 to 5. Every hour starting at 5 it k Sept getting put back and hour. They showed up at 9pm that night and I told them I wasn't getting it at 9pm. I am very disappointed because this is my new home and I was having people over the next day and now no couch. Very bad

Came in and financed $4.3k worth of furniture, only to find out while double-checking the receipt that there were pricing differences from what was agreed upon in-store before finalizing and signing the papers. We reached out to the store to verify discrepancies and after some investigation they said there was a tagging error where the price in the system was incorrect. In short, we were overcharged on items above the price tag shown and agreed on in store to make it look like we got a discount of the promotional $700. Chandler, the sales representative said he will recalculate and correct the error; He also sent a text message saying he was “not trying to be shady” and apologized and informed us that he’s trying to work on the order. We called multiple times to get a follow up and kept being told that Chandler and the manager was busy with other customers. We left our number requesting to speak with the manager 3 times. All day we were told we would receive a call back — but the store closed and no one was able to fix the error. That alone tells you everything you need to know about the store. This stuff happens all the time and it’s just another Thursday for them. Either that or they’re being trained to do these shady things and everyone is in on it. We ended up driving to the store the next morning right at opening. When we arrived, the sales personnels including the manager were all standing at the front waiting for customers — which was frustrating, because the day before no one could “find time” to call us back about a major pricing issue, yet the next morning the staff was available at the door instead of working to resolve the discrepancy. We were upset that what they called a “system error” was not being corrected promptly, nor was it being taken seriously. Manager John did not introduce himself at first and only stepped in when it became clear the salesperson could not resolve the issue. When the manager finally came to talk to us, no apologies was given and instead implied that we were trying to get part of the furniture for free, repeating that “errors happen” and that it was being corrected — with zero sympathy. He claimed that it usually is too late to correct the error but is doing us a favor and fixing the mistake. This is not a favor he was providing , it was illegal business practice if he chose not to honor it. We also checked online what the pricings are, and found out it was $400 cheaper for a dining table set. Manager was unable or willing to match the difference and stated “it is not their job to shop for their customers” meaning, they don’t care about customers, only commission. We were given a claim number and told someone will reach out within 72hrs, no return, no compensation, and no good customer service after purchase in store. It seems that the manager lack responsibility to check his location’s system and to address issues promptly and with care. Chandler did try to do his best it seems but still lack training. PLEASE think carefully before purchasing from this location, where overlooked pricing seems to be insignificant issue to be given attention to. Double-check every prices before signing anything and DO NOT TRUST THEIR SALES REPRESENTATIVES.

If I could give this review zero stars I would. I was very disappointed in the delivery service. They came to our house and was piece was missing. Then we they were supposed to deliver the missing piece the delivery team brought the wrong piece. They left it at the house. Then another day a crew came to pick up the incorrect delivery. I keep letting MULTIPLE emails and texts about delivery dates and every day it changes. This delivery should have all happened on ONE day but now instead my family has to coordinate 4 different visits from Ashely. Their customer service line is horrible they did not have a supervisor on shift and did not help. The unfortunate part of this whole experience has been the fact that we had a good experience checking out and purchasing in store but everything after the fact was horrible. I have been purchasing with Ashley furniture for years but now will never again due to my poor experience and their horrible experience.

We bought a sofa from Ashley then a few months later we also bought the matching recliner. We love the sofa and now also love the recliner. The communication about the recliner delivery was amazing. We knew exactly when it was coming and the guys who delivered and set it up were efficient and took all the wrappings with them.

Outstanding ! Great service from Heidi, great selection. And the delivery was spot on. On time, set up was completed in minutes, and they were both very pleasant. Thank you ! My father loves his lift chair, and now we can worry less, seeing that he is 92 years old. Thank you again.

The delivery was quick and efficient. Was not satisfied with the wrong sized slats being delivered. Now I have to wait another day to sleep in my bed. I appreciate the delivery workers for all their hard work and handling my pieces with care.

Excellent experience with Omar today! I wanted to buy my dad a power lift recliner before I visited him in a few weeks. My dad went to Ashley and picked out what he liked and Omar helped me purchase it over the phone. He was so kind and so patient as we did a long distance transaction. He was even patient while I was having issues paying through the email link he sent me. And the best thing of all was Omar made it really easy for my dad and that brought us both great joy and peace of mind. Delivery will be quick. I am beyond angry with this place. I went in almost 45 min before they were closing to look for furniture. I was approached by a girl and i told her i was not purchasing anything today we were just starting our search for new furniture. She had informed me they could see what i pre qualified for without doing a hard hit on my credit. I told the lady if i found something i liked i would be up to doing the pre qualification check as long as it was not a hard hit. She let me and my mom look around and 10-15 minutes later came up to us again asking me what i wanted to do since they were closing soon.30 minutes before they closed they were trying to rush us out the door. They had the doors locked and were trying to clear out. I understand wanting to go home but 30 minutes before closing is crazy. I told her i would be up to doing the pre qualification check and she brought me to a computer. Turns out she just skipped over the pre qualification check and went straight to the hard hit on my credit check despite me telling her i didnt want to do that so she could push me to buy. Now i have a hard hit on my credit which doesnt seem like much but im trying to build my credit since im a young adult and dont have a lot of history. Im just highly upset she ignored my request and everyone in the store was being super pushy to get everyone out of the store way before closing. Not great customer service and even though i found a furniture set i loved i will not be purchasing anything from this company simply due to the customer service i received.

Great service and personality by the sales man at the Lakeland, Florida location. We were able to find what we wanted and, understand the sales price, the purchase, from quality to delivery, and are looking forward to the arrival on Thursday. My sister and I can't wait.

I went to Ashley Store and my experience was very frustrating. At first, they told me I couldn’t do a pick-up for my order, which already made things complicated. After adjusting to that, now they tell me that actually I could have done a pick-up all along. This lack of clarity and communication shows poor organization and unreliable service. Customers shouldn’t have to waste time because the staff gives out inconsistent information. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend this store to anyone looking for clear, honest, and dependable service.

We bought a kitchen table, 8 chairs, a love seat and a couch from them late August/ early September. The items were delivered about mid-September. The same day they were delivered I made a claim that the kitchen table top had wear marks on it, the backing on the couch is stretched out and is loose and has a staple coming through on the top and the love seat has loose stitching. I called the store that day to say we needed to set up an exchange. They said I needed to call another number. Call them and they say the only way to file a claim is by texting a number. Text that number and crickets ever since. I called the 1-855 number back and they gave me a website to go to. Utterly despicable business practices, extremely over priced furniture for the quality you're getting, and NO customer support after you take delivery. Right now my entire dining room is taken up by a table we can't use and 8 chairs(which will probably be damaged as well) still on their boxes. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY OR PROVIDE YOU WITH ANY SUPPORT POST SALE WHAT SO EVER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. UPDATE 09/24/25--I have emailed as per the owner's response below and waiting on a response from them. I will not accept "repairs". What I will accept is new furniture that is up to my standards for how new furniture should be when it arrives. I made my claim the same day it was delivered and right now I have all this unusable furniture taking up my living room and kitchen. I put my contact info in the email. Contact me ASAP to schedule delivery and pick up.

Let's just say the furniture is not bad but the customer service is lacking. Spent over 3000.00 dollars on living room furniture. The inside of the audio unit had staple exposed that cut my grandchild. I went into the Lakeland store N 98 complained and Makayla put in a case number to get it repaired. Called customer service 3 business days later to see when someone would repair it but they had no case created so I had to create my own case. A week later got a technician, Jim out who stated he was unable to repair the upholstery and staples poking out as he could not slide the drawer out as the tract was broken. He ordered parts to repair the tract (mind you this is a brand new 600.00 dollar piece of furniture) Should of automatically been replaced! The parts arrived a week later then a week after that (today 08/23) the technician, Jim came back to do the repair. He broke the tract off the drawer to remove the c drawer then realized he had the wrong parts and would need to order more. He left the audio unit with the drawer closed and unable to be opened while we wait for more parts. I went back to the store the same day to complain and ask for my money back or a new audio unit. I showed my original sales rep. Paula the pics of the now broken unit and spoke again with Makayla who stated she would email leadership about getting a replacement piece and it would take 48 business hours. She gave me my case number and a number for customer service to call. I called and spoke with Khy today at customer service who stated she had no knowledge about the replacement of the unit just that the correct parts were recorded and should be there in 7-10 business days then a technician would be back. I also called the Brandon warehouse and spoke with Michelle who stated no one emailed her with a request for a replacement and that the store would need to provide an order number for any replacement. Called back to the store spoke with Makayla again who assured me an email was sent to leadership and it takes 48 business hours to determine if they will allow a replacement of the broken audio unit. So now we wait.......

Fun fact, using customer files to contact a customer on a personal level is actually a violation of privacy laws….. I hope Bridgett has been fired from whatever location she was at. Also, the quality sucks. That’s a PERSONAL review. Ashely used to be sold at rent a center. How they lived up to top quality baffles me. It’s always been junk. Now it’s over priced junk with bad employees.

Ashley furniture has been taking forever with my case ,came in store wanting answers about my claim and why they are dragging their feet. I was gonna write a bad review to BBB but thankfully i got assisted by The Store manager Omar and he honestly took all my frustration face on but helped ended up putting my faith back in ashley furniture.i will be buying here from now on.

I’m not one to normally comment on anything But dealing with Ashley's Has truly been a nightmare. Me and my husband were so excited we bought two dressers and two nightstands But as the delivery was expensive, we opted to pick it up. And we did finance And with the financing, we also paid extra for protection. Right when we got home and I opened one of the nightstand boxes it was broken and Unusable. I documented it right away because I know how warranty and works Seven months later, I’m still fighting to get a new stand that has never once been used They keep denying it because they claim it’s not covered even though one of their techs came out and said, I needed a new one. I am paying for something monthly I cannot use at all And they still refuse to help me they just keep sending me through more and more loop poles And it really is so sad Because we just want a new nightstand Since it was opened broken

I ordered a new sofa and recliner on July 30th with Paula and was advised that both items were available for delivery the following wednesday(August 6th). When it came to getting my delivery confirmation I never received one and figured I wouldn’t cause it didn’t show my phone number on my order slip. I had to call customer service and see what was going on. I was told they could not deliver my items due to availability until the next Wednesday(August 13th). So I wait till a few days before then to get my confirmation and again got no confirmation. So I called once again. I was told only 1 of my items was being delivered out of the 2 and they couldn’t deliver the other item till the next day. Which doesn’t work cause I already took time off for my delivery on the 20th. Now I’m having to take additional time off and lose more money due to poor communication between the store and the warehouse. Very dissatisfied as with my experience

I do not recommend Ashley furniture. Bought a new sectional a year and a half ago and the cushions are completely worn down to nothing. Bought the extended warranty and they won't do anything about it. So 5k later the couch needs replaced!! They definitely don't stand behind their products!!

Great location very friendly staff, typically sales folks follow me around places like these and it can get annoying, not here though. At least not for me. Ended buying a Lyncott writing desk for my wife for work from home. Went to a bunch of furniture stores and this was by far the best quality and size for the price.

Wasim Browne (Sales) was so patient and helped us in finding the sofa we like and Paula Borges also in sales assisted us when we visited Ashley's furniture again as well as Omar Ortiz (Sales manager) assisted us in finalizing the sales for our beautiful sofa. We had a wonderful experience during our visit to the store. They were all so helpful, professional and knowledgeable regarding their products. Emilia is a contemporary and modular design that allows you to arrange it in different ways to fit your available space at home. In summary, if you're looking for a versatile, stylish and comfortable sofa set with the look of leather and the flexibility of a modular design, the Ashley Emilia collection is likely what you had in mind. I highly recommend the store and people and this product to anyone who's meticulously inclined to get the best that they can get from a sofa collection.

As a business owner myself I try to give benefit of doubt, I try to be lenient with employees or any interaction within a company when I myself am frustrated. This process has been nothing less than discusting, fraudulent and unethical in various ways. We have been dealing with a process from the " warrenty claims" and ashley store front for over 5 months now. Their furniture protection is absolutely underwritten to trick and give the appearance of a well covered protection however when you purchase a SET as we did 2.5 years ago, and they now discontinued the set, you are out of luck! Find something that matches is a joke and the amount rendered is also a joke as prices have increased significantly.we went in store to try to find something as I do love the set i have, no luck. So we decided to go online to purchase random things we dont need and have a company repair our bed, that cost us $265.98. Guess what!! You cannot purchase online with the credit lol!! So back to the store we went to pick out more random things we don't need. Now that we did that June 3, we have had two ottomans delivered without the legs that attach, had to reorder them via the claims dept. We are still awaiting lamps almost 20 days later as they are at the warehouse with a label created , just stagnant. Here i am sitting on hold today as I type this up and " Chandler" in store is giving me all the wrong answers and LYING 🤥 about the it being FED X as the one at fault claiming a label was never created. Omar finally gets in on the activities ( floor manager tonight) seemingly assisting people for 21 minutes while im on hold. He gets on the phone and pretends he cannot hear me. This is laughable at this point and I can't be mad when I hear laughing near Omar via the phone. So eventually he hangs up but not before he calls right back for a quick recovery, I answer and have to question the insanity, I dont even care about the lamps at this point but surely this can't be real customet service right?? Surley when I get frustrated the direction of questions wont be why????right??? But nevertheless they are, Omar seemingly can write up a new order now, shocking !!chandler will need to be educated on that part now. Im over the lamps im over the disgusting cust service however im not shocked as they seem quite bored at this location, when we have been in the ratio of client to sales rep is low.

This is my second time visiting this store—even though it’s not the closest one to me, I made the drive all the way from St. Petersburg because I knew I’d get the best customer experience while shopping for furniture for my new home. And once again, it was absolutely worth it! Huge shoutout to Anthony, my first sales associate, who helped me pick out everything I needed for the kitchen, living space, and bedroom. I especially appreciated his detailed guidance while choosing my new bed and mattress. I had a ton of questions (probably more than most!), but he answered every one of them patiently—in person and via text. Even on his day off, he coordinated with Tae, another incredible associate, who stepped in seamlessly and made sure I was taken care of. Tae was super helpful and made the process smooth and stress-free. Thank you both! Came back to make sure I had no questions then I started conversation of others things HP stuff. Well he was very patient and caring of my needs as a salesperson. Very awesome made me feel comfortable with my purchase. I can't wait to receive it. He was the best.

I furnished my entire home and purchased all the furniture from this store. I was assisted by a representative named Paula Keener. I called and messaged her many times, but she never responded. However, during the sales process, she claimed to be a very professional person who would be attentive to all my needs. I spent over $10,000 at the store, and the cocktail table I purchased was shipped via FedEx, unassembled, even though she clearly told me that everything would arrive assembled and that I wouldn’t have to lift a finger. That turned out to be completely false. She has since ignored my calls. What a poor representative and unprofessional person—she is giving your company a very bad image. On top of that, the table arrived damaged on one corner, and now I’m being told that I have to personally bring it to the store, even though I paid over $1,000 in extended warranties. I absolutely do not recommend this sales representative, and the store has offered no real solution. Customer service is terrible. Remember: PAULA KEENER is the sales representative.

Unfortunately, it hasn’t been a great experience. At first, i wanted to purchase a mattress online with my Ashley Furniture card and have it sent to my brother’s house in Florida (I live in NY) because I will be staying there a while. According to the policy, anything purchased online has to be shipped to the billing address, I couldn’t send it to my brothers not even if it was a gift. Needless to say I went to my brothers, there was an Ashley store near by in (Lakeland) and so I ordered my mattress, frame and a mattress cover protection. I received my mattress and frame but the cover was delivered with the wrong size. I tried to exchange it at the store, they wouldn’t exchange it because they either didn’t have it online or that the warehouse was to contact me 72 hours and will arrange to have the exchange done (also not aware that the warehouse was closed Sunday and Monday). I don’t receive a call but received an email asking for proof of purchase. I sent the proof and the which took another two days later received a text saying that the exchange will be on the May 28th. The delivery took place on the May 17th. To conclude, as a customer I was not satisfied nor accommodated for the error made by the warehouse. I would like to add that the salesperson was very helpful with my selection on the mattress.

Wasim was terrific. We have a California King and our existing bed broke. We didn't realize how difficult it is to find a Cali King frame. Wasim showed us several different options and helped us find a bed we love.

Very disappointed in service asked for a fireplace with the entertainment center, and they didn’t deliver it and now trying to tell me that I didn’t order one with a fireplace went here and spent extra money when i could have bought it cheaper someplace else. Do not recommend going to this place

I would not recommend! In store customer service is good however, There customer care service over the phone is very poor. Yu pay for warranty and they have a terrible communication, poor service. Work orders not put it. Furniture arrives damage and yet again I am still waiting on a resolutions 2wks later.

Store employees have been amazing. Only thing I’m not happy with is the warehouse. Was supposed to pickup loveseat and rocker recliner last week. I called the day before pickup. Loveseat was there, chair expected next morning. Called after a few days and no chair and no loveseat. They had moved out inventory and so no furniture

Great store with a wide range of furniture selections. Found what we were looking for.

Absolutely horrible service there. We had our bedroom set delivered Friday. The footboard and the rails came broken so the delivery driver took them back. The delivery team did not put the rest of the furniture where we asked. The delivery team moved one mattress out of the house and set it on the ground. Then they said they would not take the mattress because it had leaves on it and it was dirty. We called the person who took care of us Aria and she said she would take care of it. My husband and I called the customer service center and those people said someone would call us in 24 hours. We didn’t hear anything Saturday so we called Sunday. That customer service person then told us we would receive a call 48 hours from Friday about bringing us a new bed. It is now Monday and no one has reached out or anything. I’m sleeping on a brand new mattress on the floor. I paid over $5000 for new furniture and for everything to be done right. This is an absolute nightmare. Save your sanity and shop for furniture somewhere else

I had an amazing experience picking out my furniture with Victor. He was very kind and I appreciate how great he was at helping me find exactly what I wanted and was looking for. I purchased a table and chairs along with a mattress, bed, side table, and bureau. I also liked how the store was set up. I had looked at another store previously and didn’t like that all of the items were scattered about the store. At Ashley’s, I was able to sit on mattresses one after the other as they were in a large section together, which made it easy to compare items I was looking at. When I need new furniture in the future I will definitely go to Ashley’s and hope that Victor can assist me again. Thank you so much!

This is a review for their phone customer service they have the worst service ever! Incompetent people working there. Sucks because the people at the store are nice. But they like to add all this extra fees on your bill. Always check. Never ever buying from this company until you fix your customer service via phones and are honest with your customers.

Purchased 4,000 dollars worth of furniture and was guaranteed a delivery date for Dec 27th showing that the items were in the warehouse. Delivery date comes, and I have to call them to figure out why my furniture hadn’t been delivered being that no one called to that day to say “we’re on the way” finally a rep tells me that my date had been pushed to the next year January 14th and a manager wouldn’t even come to the phone. Furniture is great quality. But the way they do business is absurd! & unprofessional. They’ve made my moving process hell!

Came in this morning and spoke with Paulina. Went over the numbers and the length of financing for the living room set we were interested in. Went home to measure and stated we would come back. Went back later that day to purchase and set up financing and delivery. They ran my credit and issued an account only then to go over the receipt of fees afterwards. The figures were not the same nor was the length of financing or the need of the down payment. Apparently there is a 2 percent fee due that was conveniently left out of the conversation. She played confused and got the manager, Trist who should be a used car salesman. Good furniture but will choose to give my money to another company that values their customers.

Keep your receipt and pay attention to your bill when it comes if you finance through them. I received my first bill and it was $140 more expensive than my purchase. Of course I couldn't get anyone on the phone to help with the issue, so I ended up having to file a claim with the bank they sent my financing through. The sales people were super friendly, and they push you to give good reviews to mask the poor service/poor reviews on the back end. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else.

Salesman said he would make arrangements with someone he knew & call me before the end of the day Thursday. Friday crew arrived, saw old bed was not removed & left. No advance notice. After several calls I was told they would be here Saturday. I paid to have bed taken apart & removed. I went back to store and talked to very nice, helpful store manager. It will be set up but who knows when? Low score for miscommunication from sales people & delivery department.

I've always had good luck finding furniture at Ashley's. Recently, I've been looking for living room furniture. I lucked out again. I’ve had the worst experience with Ashley Furniture in Lakeland. On Nov 2, 2024, I paid in full for a bedroom set that was supposed to be delivered the next week. Only one dresser arrived, and I was told the rest was on backorder. Finally, on Nov 23, the rest was scheduled for delivery, but it was the wrong bed and missing side rails—all due to the sales rep Tim not ordering it correctly. I spent nearly two weeks dealing with finger-pointing between corporate and the Lakeland store. I was forced to pay more for what was supposed to be ordered originally and promised my bed by Dec 16, but now the delivery is pushed to Dec 26, and Tim hasn’t responded to my messages. Meanwhile, I’m sleeping on a mattress on the floor despite paying in full for the bedroom set and the extra for setup and delivery. This experience has been beyond frustrating, and no one has done anything to make sure I’m taken care of. I needed another nightstand but will never order anything from Ashley Furniture again. I hate writing a bad review but I’ve had enough and feel I’ve been treated extremely poorly from this store and its staff.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I would Never buy from them again!!! We purchased a whole living room set and had a problem with an end table. When we arrived to pick it up at the store one of the end tables was completely broken. They never said a word. We had to point it out. The manager wasn’t there to take care of the problem. He called us and said he would take care of it. Never heard back from anyone. Had to go back to the store to get it taken care of. You cannot call the store. All calls are sent to an offshore call center in the Philippines. There is No customer service.

Where do I start. After 4 bad deliveries to a brand new home which took over a month. Broken bed backboard, broken drawer of the bed, broken railings, different color drawers for the bed, and terrible customer service from the corporate level all the way to the store level. Then they have their customer support off shores, 1st can't hardly understand the people, they read like robots from a script and all they say is we understand your frustration. This furniture company is a joke. I'm actually going to say if you are looking for any compensation from this company for anything they did wrong by far many of times, ughh get ready to sit and wait till they know you've called over 150+ calls and put in 50+ complaints then they will maybe cover you by waiving the delivery fee. Complete Joke for a company. 2 months I've been battling them and still NO PROGRESS oh yeah and still NO COMPENSATION. I will not STOP until something is done. They want you to get tired so they can sweep their mistakes under the table. Not with me. If i can help them close down or lose business that's what I'm going to do until they start taking care of their customers the correct way. Don't recommend you buy a pillow from this company. Beware TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE FURNITURE COMPANY IN GENERAL. Don't buy furniture from this company. 👎👎👎👎👎

Super helpful and not pushy. I’ve been looking for a very specific bathroom mirror to match everything else in the complete redo. I’d been everywhere and looked everywhere. My sister had seen Ashley and said let’s try there. We walked and found 2 options. He was super nice and gave me his info. I took pictures and went home to check. When one matched, I called and they shipped no charge! I wish the rest of my house had gone so easily!!

Salesman was very helpful. Although management pushed him to lie to me about the sale end date. I’m someone who reads the fine print. I was prepared to purchase same day anyway but the high pressure sales tactic would have been a turn off had I not been. You should always shop around and when someone is putting pressure on you to make an impulsive decision it’s definitely a RED flag.

Was excited to buy a new couch for my home. I purchased a new model sectional with a console that had a Bluetooth speaker in it. Two weeks later it’s delivered. It’s beautiful but the console does not have a speaker just a drawer. So I call the associate I purchased the couch from and she informed me she would look in to the situation. So when she calls me back she says this was the first of this couch she had sold and did not order the console with the bluetooth (as it was displayed in store and the price she told me it was with the speaker console). She says she will fix the problem for me, it was her fault. So the next day or so, the manager calls me and says they will exchange the consoles but I need to pay the difference in the price. I could not believe he even had the audacity to tell me that. When I already thought I was paying for what was presented to me in store. I told him I will not be spending anymore money I already paid enough and was basically lied too. Honestly if my family did not love this couch I would have just taken it back. I think that was really bad customer service and I will not be visiting an Ashley Store again.

My sales rep Samantha was phenomenal. She knew about all the furniture that I was interested in. And even though I could have brought it that day she had me wait so I could get a better deal in which I did I saved almost $300 on my furniture.

Several changes to delivery dates caused lots of frustration during my chair purchase. Customer service never had answers and made the issues more aggravating. I or my company will never use this store again.

I love to shop at Ashley’s furniture! There is always someone up front to help you, if needed and prices are reasonable. They have prices to fit every budget. Keep in mind that you can’t return anything unless it’s defective. And sometimes you get the end tables home and wish you would have gone with something else.

If you just want to purchase furniture and pick it up yourself - 100% go to Ashley Furniture. Their furniture is beautiful, well made and reasonable prices for the quality. HOWEVER. If you need it delivered - figure out another way. Their delivery is horrible, constant reschedules, incorrect information and extremely frustrating. Add to that the customer service you have to deal with (NOT at the store level) is uncooperative and dismissive. They make promises and then will say “oh we can’t do that”. Unfortunately - the delivery aspect is the last piece we dealt with and I’m still frustrated - hence my 2 star review.

Went in looking for a new couch. As soon as we walked in we were surrounded by sales people. Sales girl quotes us $590 a month for a couch without running our credit. Told us we could order a couch that wasn’t in the store, and if we didn’t like it, we could refuse delivery. Completely ignored all that, as I would rather buy it out right, and see it first! Specifications on couch we liked were about 20 inches bigger than our current couch. Decided we would go home and see if we could make it work, because the couch is modular. As we were walking out we were cornered by another sales guy, a real gem, he says, “what can we do to make this deal happen today!?” I replied, well the couch is too big so we’re going to have to go measure and see if it’ll work. He replied, “you didn’t bring your measurements when you came!?” Needless to say, we won’t be back. We went across the street to Rooms to Go and to City Furniture in Plant City- both places the sales people were much better to work with! Ashley Furniture Lakeland can play games with someone else. Also- idk where these 4.7 stars on Google came from, check out Yelp, they’re obviously more accurate.

We were shopping for furniture for my grandson. From the moment we walked in the door, it was a great experience. The sales woman was great, the delivery and set up went perfectly. The delivery team kept we aware of the time they would be here. My grandson is very happy with his new bedroom. All and all I definitely would shop again at Ashley’s! Thank you!

This might be lengthy, but I am very displeased with the product and poor customer service Ashley Furniture has to offer. We just purchased a king bedroom set from them and when the delivery arrived the headboard was broken, so we decided to reject the order and have another one order, a few days later Ashley Furniture send the delivery for the second time and once again when the order arrived the left rail was cracked and the drawer was broken and once again we had to reject the order and have another one sent to us. Hurricane Milton passed so we had to wait Xtra time for the third delivery of our bed. Once the third delivery arrived, AGAIN we had to reject the bedroom set because this time it was badly scratched all over, the paint was coming off the headboard and side covers, so guess what... we had to reject the order for the third time and all of this times having to deal with customer care and the store directly but one would say something and the other would say something else. We requested compensation for all the mishaps and for having to waste our times having to wait for a delivery that has a specific date with a four hour span. I've had to cancel doctors appointments, have to rush home from whatever I was doing, well basically having to pause my life for Ashley's Furniture delivery to then having to reject it because the product was damaged. Then the fourth delivery arrived a month and 1/2 from placing the order and this time we along with the delivery guys, inspected the product and yes, it still arrived damaged but this time around we decided to accept the order because the dent was small and Ashley Furniture was going to send a technician to come and fix it. It took 4 deliveries, a month and a half waiting for our king size bedroom set to finally arrived but now the only compensation they want to offer us is "a delivery fee discount". We requested compensation and out of how many people we spoke in customer care, we were originally told that a king size mattress was going to be deliver to us for everything we went through (even asking us what kind of mattress we wanted) and a 50% discount on our entire order. GUESS WHAT??? Now, they are retracting from any of that because we have accepted the bedroom set and that our order is "closed". We have been doing nothing but being on the phone with Ashley Furniture customer care multiple times with multiple people and some calling themselves supervisors, also we've been on the phone with Ashley Furniture store directly multiple times in which we've been treated very poorly and with horrible attitude. We are the customers and for the high prices items the store has they are very quick to sell something, get the money but are very poor on fixing the problem and horrible at providing customer service. Also calling the customer liars when "all the calls are supposed to be recorded for training purposes." Ashley Furniture for sure has lost a customer and I will NEVER recomend anyone to purchase anything from them, we sure won't because the experience was very disappointing and we are very displeased with the quality of product and service.

I purchased a sectional sofa online and going in store the color turned out to not be what I was looking for. My salesperson Anthony was amazing! He helped me find the perfect couch for an amazing deal with free shipping. I had to wait for Ashley to refund the amount to the credit card and come back the next day and my salesperson Anthony came in even on his day off to help and complete it. He is very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to help you find what you want and get an amazing deal!! Very happy with my purchase. Thank you Anthony for all your help!

I am concerned about their deceptive policy of having customers pay for the Reguard Protection even if they do not want it. I asked the young female salesperson not to charge me and she said she would not but when I checked my receipt afterwards I was charged. I have been calling for over a month to reverse the $500 charge but they have not responded. Not a good experience. I have been a faithful customer for over 16 years but will not be purchasing from Ashley anymore.

The warranty that they sell you is crap, therefore, I see them as not credible. The delivery service is terrible! The furniture is not put together correctly and when it breaks the warranty service doesn’t cover it! Will never shop there again! Be sure to research the Protectall protection plan. They have their own lengthy list of bad reviews, even through the Better Business Bureau! Truly is a scam to sell crappy furniture! Better off buying on Amazon and putting it together yourself! Better quality furniture and done right!

Returned the direct ship mattress 3 weeks back and the sales manager came outside to take the mattress from my Tesla and the lady at the customer service said she will process the refund. Today I spoke with another lady and she said she will help as no one has put in any notes and hasn’t processed the return yet. I am not going to put any names here as they already now who they are. I am literally tired of calling and nothing happens. Refund shouldn’t be taking this long at all. I was planning to buy more stuff but not any more. The sales agent I texted her and she said she’s waiting to hear back from the lady at the office with no response. They will follow up only if they are making commission but not for refunds. So sad how this store works. RTG is the store to go. I hope someone calls me ASAP before I need to call them again or follow up.

First of all, I want to say the sales representative Beau was great. My first complaint is someone sent out two guys and neither one of them spoke English so I had to go down to my gate and go out and let them in. My second complaint is when they got it to the front door they dropped it and one of the guys was upset about his necklace more than he was my loveseat. It was just poor service on their part. Sorry for complaining.

Didn’t get an apology after I was lied to and bilingual sales rep. Didn’t explain to us about payments and agreement, he told me another thing! told me I had to call with third party and nobody is there to help they are just standing around to sell to you and get you out! Worst business ever!

Bought a bed set, was charged $400 for installation and delivery. When it was installed they broke a bolt and one of the center supports where missing and they didn't tell us. The first time I laid in the bed the slats moved due to the broken bolt and the bed fell down at the headboard due to the missing center support. It took 2 weeks and many hours on the phone to get someone out to look at it. We also paid for the protection plan. After someone finally came out the didn't have the part and had to order it. Once it arrived I could either wait another week to have someone come out to install the missing center support or install it myself. I was told by both the store and cooperate I would receive compensation in the form of an Ashley store gift card for an unknown amount. That was over 3 weeks ago. When I call the store they tell me cooperate handles that, when I call cooperate they tell me the store handles it. I wish I would have went to rooms to go instead of dealing with all the headache. Update: 9-26-2024 sent an email as requested in the reply to my review and have not received any response whatsoever. More empty promises.

I want to start off by saying Samantha at Ashley Furniture in Lakeland is amazing. If you want someone that is attention to detail and is sincere with you from the beginning you need her. On Sunday we went to purchase some new couches and was helped by Marianna well unfortunately that was not a good experience we walked out by her letting us know that our furniture would be delivered by September 10, but she told us to call her in two hours to confirm Because for some reason it wasn’t coming up.. Well, I called the customer service And they told me my couches would not be delivered until November 30.. That was the first lie that she did.. So I called her and she said that she was going to see and she told me to not worry about it that usually that the customer service says it takes 6 weeks , but it will be delivered in one week so I Had a gut feeling and did not trust her so I went into the location and we were greeted by Samantha n we begin to told her our Situation and asked if there was anyway she could help us with it.. We found out that the couches that Miranna sold us were discontinued and no longer being manufactured.. That was very upsetting she lied to us. Second, when we were helped by Samantha, we signed all of these documents to confirm the products we were purchasing and also going over the furniture warranty and the breakdown of the payment when we went with Miranna on Sunday she did not get to sign anything but the receipt on the deposit that we made of 1900 & Also come to find out Financing us that we did not have to make that big of a deposit so that was very upsetting because we could’ve saved the rest of the money for other things. Unfortunately, it cannot have been refunded but the good thing it was deducted from the total of our furniture that we purchased… Overall trustworthy sales associate would definitely recommend Samantha. Spent almost $4000 on a living room set. After looking at the invoice I noticed a $199 protection plan I specifically asked not to get and $499 delivery fee after being told everything was included and clarified that there was no delivery charge. After correcting that issue, I was given the information on were to pick up my order. So I rent a truck to go pick it up. I call ahead the week before, the day before, AND the day of to confirm my order is ready to be picked up so there is no confusion. Get to the distribution center, nothing is ready to go and they don’t have my information. After clearing that up I was told 20-45 minutes. After an hour and a half they Bring it out and make me load it onto the truck despite having the tools and a ramp for the truck. Overall they seem to be all smiles when you hand them your credit card. But once they have your money they couldn’t care less what happens. (Also there response is a joke. It says email John Kimble the GM) he can’t be bothered to respond more will the staff give out his out there own name. There’s no accountability what so ever. Mr. Kimble I highly doubt you have the decency to make this right. But if you want to try give me a call.

Great service and easy to work with on delivery

We purchased a full size bed and box spring. Delvin was friendly yet professional. So happy that bed and box spring are very sturdy. The box spring is metal and will not sqeak lot wooden box springs. We are also impressed that the box spring is manufactured by Ashley.

Just got a call that my furniture is not being delivered. Very rude...I'm not happy

I purchased a mattress from them, and I didn't like it after sleeping on it for 1 week. I went back to the store to try and find a better mattress but they told me to call a number to create a claims with their care team. So I walked away with nothing resolved. Turns out they won't do any return or exchange as soon the mattress enters the home. They don't tell you this before buying a mattress; they don't care for you, just you're money. I can't trust these guys. If you're reading this, you'll get scammed. Go spend your money elsewhere.

What is your company moto? Make your customers feel uncomfortable. I went in your store just to look at furniture for my new place. I let the salesman know I was just looking to get a idea what I want and I let then know if I had a question I would let them know. But the whole time I was harassed by them.

DO NOT EVER BUY a sleeper sofa...... They are made very CHeap. Have not had ours 2 weeks, already having problems. No Refunds or returns. 😩 Lesson learned. Very upset. Hopefully my husband can fix it.

By far, it is the worst customer service from any business I've ever experienced. We ordered a couch and love seat ( 6,000 dollars ). We were told it could be delivered on a Thursday. We told them Saturday was better to make sure someone was home. The sales man guaranteed it was in stock, and there were no issues at all. Waited two weeks and made sure we would be home that Saturday. Get a phone call less than 24 hours before delivery. They don't have the love seat. We went through this last time we ordered from here during covid. This time, we were told covid was over, and stock issues weren't a thing anymore. I tried to call and speak to a member of management and was told they were too busy to talk. The delivery was pushed out another two weeks to this Saturday ( 4-6 ) Get a phone call again today from the warehouse, no love seat again, call the store again and on e again get another rude customer service lady. Tell her to cancel the order, and she tells me it is being processed and pretty much hangs the phone up. I'll never spend another dime with Ashley brand period!

I had previously purchased 2 Kananwood sofas and was very happy with them. When I saw that the matching chair and ottoman were on sale, I headed straight to the store. I told Devin what I wanted and he checked on availability. He verified the price I was on my way home within 45 minutes.

Received a damaged item from warehouse and I was told Ashley would deliver a replacement. 72 hours Ashley is saying that I have to return this large item and pickup the replacement myself. This is a huge inconvenience and bad business.

This review is more about customer service at the Lakeland store. While the salesman was friendly, he added a furniture protection plan to my purchase that I did not ask for, nor was told about. We signed the agreement on a tablet so the writing was small. The final invoice was handed to us in an envelope, and we did not review it. All in all, I trusted the guy, and was disappointed that this was slipped in. I cancelled the plan later, but now I have to wait for the refund to go through(website states up to 45 days). They told us from the sore 3 days for refund receipt to be generated then however long it takes my bank to show refund on my statement.

We had such a good experience with our Sales Associate Aria. She found us a great deal in a complete living room set and was very curteous and professional. Million Thx Aria, Jhonathan and Yari

The customer service and delivery service is the worst I’ve ever had, I ordered and paid in full weeks before my scheduled delivery a large order $5000+, when my furniture was delivered it was missing items that no one told me was no longer available no courtesy call to refund my money or ask if I wanted to make an exchange, (over $1k) not one call or email. Then when the delivery came they left me someone else’s table and did not deliver the one I ordered. It took me more than 7 phone calls and 3 missed work days because they rescheduled delivery dates and times without confirmation with me. The person Mykala customer communication was not only insulting and impatient lacking empathy but with a heavy condescending and accusatory tone and the sales person Mariana was great prior to transaction and poorly disappointing post transaction. Absolutely no follow through. Each time I asked to talk to a store manager it was declined and not once did the store manager return my call and all the while they hold your refund for weeks until they complete the delivery which is almost impossible. Never will I ever purchase from this company and I work with a lot of people who I will share this negative review.

I recently purchased a bedroom set for my daughter from Ashley. Victor was very kind and great to work with. He helped me select a set that was perfect for what I was looking for. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

Our new sectional couch was assembled incorrectly. And one of the mechanical sections is not working. I didn’t see them test it, and did not know it was mechanical until several hours after delivery. Will be calling Ashley in the morning to discuss.

Some shady dealings and not full disclosure from sales people! We went in to purchase a new mattress and found one we might like. The sales person assured us that if we don't like it we can return it in 90 days. That is a full on lie! There is NO RETURN POLICY it is a REPLACEMENT POLICY at the same or more expensive mattress. We even asked several times if it was REPLACEMENT and was told if we don't like it we can return it. Also dealing with their crappy lie of a warranty on furniture that they push as a selling point. That is for another review. Will NEVER use this store again and be thankful I do not disclose the sales person's name!

Back in October I bought a sectional that I’m still waiting on a refund for. The furniture was too big for my room and I called Ashley less than 10 min after the delivery driver left. They said they couldn’t come back to pick up the furniture until the next day, which they did. I have no problems with that. Problem is, part of the purchase was on credit and I’ve yet to see a credit back to my account. I called Ashley in November and they said the credit was issued and I need to wait a billing cycle and it will show up. It’s been 3 billing cycles and still no credit back to my account and when I called Ashley AGAIN they said this time they couldn’t find it in the system. How is it that the first time I called they were gonna issue the credit and then 3 months later they can’t find anything? If I could give 0 stars I would.

We have been shopping around for office desk and couldn’t locate any no matter where we went. Today we came into Ashley furniture as we have purchased in the past. When we came into the store today Aria was a breath of fresh air. She shows us several different options and did not pressure us into something we didn’t feel would work out for us. She was able to help us decide when we were ready and even assisted us in speaking with a representative to raise our credit line. Extremely disappointed! We purchased our bedroom furniture from Ashley on November 4th, after waiting for several months for a good sale. The salesperson, Anthony Garcia, had been contacted previously regarding the model/color that we wanted and it wasn't until the Veteran's Day Sale (or whatever sale was at the beginning of November) that he told us to go in. We went over the specific pieces that we wanted from the Havalance collection, as well as the color, two tone white/brownish gray. Anthony filled out all the paperwork, we signed it, gave the $1700+ deposit, and the deal was done. On Tuesday, January 16th, the furniture arrived. We received the two nightstands with the correct two-tone color, but the rest of the furniture was gray. Of course, we did not accept the incorrect colored furniture. The next day, we went to the store to fill out the paperwork to get the correct furniture only to be told by the manager that the two-tone furniture was going to cost approximately $1200.00 more than the one that we had bought. We explained that we had bought everything the same color, but she stated that the original order, which we had signed showed two different model names, which accounted for the same style in different colors, and that only the gray color furniture had been on sale. Now, as customers we DID NOT fill out the order form. We DID NOT order different colored bedroom furniture for the one bedroom. We DID NOT know the difference between the B814 code and the B816 code that define the furniture color/model in the order. We simply trusted the so-called Trusted Advisor to fill out the form for the furniture that we asked for, not the one that would get him a sale and us a mismatched bedroom set. The manager was very polite in the way that she basically told us that we were out of luck. She could not correct the error because we had signed the sales order and the two-tone furniture was not the one that was on sale. In other words, take it or leave. SO WE LEFT IT! We were not first time customers; but we have become last time customers due to this fiasco and the way that it was handled. You wanted our opinion. Well, there you have it. Do not buy from here it took over a month to return a damage item and then I was promised a refund 5-7 days it never happen now I'm almost on my second billing cycle and called to see why the return has not showed up and they never processed the refund and I have to wait another whole billing cycle to get the refund sounds kind of crazy for as big of a company this is. I can tell you I will never buy another item from Ashley terrible experience

I called ahead to confirm item, price and cost for delivery. I was given the incorrect amount by the phone call rep and it was 50 more for the item and 39 more for delivery.since the rep did not leave her name, I was told there was nothing I could do about it.

Looking for a bookcase that was still in the box. My salesman, Mr. Garcia, was kind enough to track the bookcase and when it was uncrated he notified me with a picture of the bookcase. After seeing the picture, I went on and ordered it. Paperwork was all prepared and ready to sign.

Do not purchase the furniture insurance with this store, It is a gimmick. I purchased the furniture insurance for $319.00, and when I called to get my furniture cleaned, I was told they didn't clean furniture only do spot removal. This is not what the sales person told me. I have been trying to get my money back for a service I can't use and to know avail, I continue getting the run around from person to person.

I stopped in after work last night, I'm in the need of some bedroom furniture, mattress and sofa and a few other items. I walked in and was there for almost 45 minutes wandering around the store looking at all the different items. Not a single employee acknowledged me, even though two walked by within 15 feet of me. As I walked out the door there were two gentlemen standing right by the entrance and not a peep out of either of them. If you want people's business, at least come up and ask if we need assistance or at least say hello. I've been in different types of customer service all my life and it's the lifeblood of keeping your business going. You need to get on top of this. Very disappointed

We have had nothing but problems since buying our loveseat from Ashley. We have had things put in writing (ex: a refund would be issued in 24-48hrs) to only be told that that person was wrong ( was told refund could be 14 business days) when questions where asked. Bought our first loveseat in Brandon. When there where issues we called and management said to call corp. we had even more issues. We went to see the manager at Lakeland store to see if they could do anything and Miguel said please let one of my salesman show you other pieces. Tim Cox, who has been with the company four years so should know what can and can’t be done, showed us other pieces and while looking he asked questions about what happened. He said if there is an issue to call him and he personally would take care of it. He was appalled at how we were treated by the other store and said even when you leave here your still my customer here’s my personal phone number. We felt like he meant what he said and bought another loveseat. Within six days of delivery one recliner didn’t close all the way so we contacted Tim, only to be told to call customer service.

Anthony was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful with us, while ordering new beds for our kids.
