I don’t know how this company is still in business Worst customer service I have ever received I wouldn’t take free furniture from them Warning buyers beware once you except delivery you are done Never again and I will make it my business to warn everyone about them

I "pre-shopped" for a sofa for my parents for a month prior to them arriving for a short holiday visit. They are moving to the area, and I wanted to narrow the choices down to limit the amount of walking they would have to do as they have mobility issues. Ashley furniture was the 2nd of 3 stores we were to visit during their trip and my mother fell in love with one of the sofas Kazi presented to us. Kazi provided a wonderful shopping experience for my mother, but the cost of the sofa was higher than we had budgeted. She brought her manger in just as we were about to leave to visit the 3rd store. Her manager offered us an additional 15% discount if we would finance the sofa instead of paying for it up front. The price was still high, but it was enough of an incentive to make the sale. My mother completed the required credit app and as we were finalizing the sale we noticed Kazi entered the wrong ship-to address. We explained that the delivery address was different from the mailing address. But Kazi brushed it off and told us that my mother would have to call Synchrony to change it as she could not do it at the store level. My mother called Synchrony a couple of days later, and they told her the store has to change the address. We called Kazi who, now that the sale is done, rarely answers her phone. We put multiple calls (8-12) into the store which has their number forwarded to a call center where heavily accented people answer and then transfer you amongst themselves. Ther is NO POSSIBLE WAY to reach the store and speak to a manager. I am upset. My parents are upset. Kazi is now upset, gas-lighting me, the customer, stating that I am treating her poorly and that she is a top-seller and None of her hundreds of customers have ever had a problem changing a delivery address with Synchrony. She states we are the very FIRST who have ever had a problem. Now, Kazi, you are insulting my intelligence and that of my parents. We have been trying to rectify your mistake for 2 weeks. You could try to understand the frustration that you and Ashley furniture have caused us all. If you had taken responsibility and changed their "ship-to" address at the time of the sale or when my father called and spoke to you that "one" time you answered their call, we would not be here today. My advice. Don't waste your time with Ashley furniture. Their furniture is just as expensive as other stores, and their after-sale-service is terrible. They promise the moon but can't even fix a simple thing like a delivery address.
