I went in yesterday because my son didn’t pack the screws to his bedroom furniture when we moved so I wanted to get replacement parts. I told the person at the door this and his first suggestion was to call the store BACK IN KANSAS for them to order them. When I told him the store was closed he said “well I don’t know how much we can help because we may not even make that line anymore.” And he left it at that, didn’t even know what the line was that I had, didn’t ask, didn’t offer to find out, didn’t bother to get out of his seat at the front. I left the store went on google found the set my son has and am calling corporate tomorrow to get the bolts ordered. The last thing this store has is any type of customer service. I will never order anything from Ashley’s furniture as I replace furniture in the years to come.
No one helped us or said hello. So we left the store and went to Rooms to Go.
I ordered an armoire and paid for it to be set up. They came after the 4 hour window and didn't even call before showing up. My husband had sat home for over an hour waiting but had to go back to work so no one was home when they finally came. They didn't call when they were here also. They left the piece of furniture outside the front door and left! Later that night my husband drug it inside but there was no way we could lift it up the stairs. We called and after speaking to 3 different people they said someone would be back the next day between a certain time frame. My husband again sat and waited and no one showed up, missing more hours of work. Every day for almost an entire week we called multiple times a day and someone said they would get back to us. We had to explain the situation every time as they did not put any notes on our account. Finally we went into the store and the assistant manager seemed mortified by what happened and promised a resolution. Well....there was not resolution. We ended up having a friend come over to help lift it up the stairs. We called the store to let them know and they said they would compensate us for all the trouble this has caused. It has now been several weeks and they have not done anything to make this right. We have bought most of our furniture from Ashley's but now I don't even want to step foot in that store.
Our experience at Ashley’s was far from great. Our first visit to the store no one spoke to us for over an hour. We decided to leave. We shopped around and unfortunately they had everything we wanted and we already had a line of credit with them from years ago. So instead of opening a new credit somewhere else we went back to give it one more shot. Once again far from great customer service. We found the manager who helped us. She was nice and said she would give us a discount for our troubles. Well the discount was dependent upon buying more stuff. We got our quote for the items and the $199 delivery charge. We slept on it and went back the next day and made our purchase. Our delivery was said to arrive on a Sunday. We received a text it on Friday it would arrive on Monday!!! We had to call because we both work on Mondays and beg them to change it back to Sunday. They agreed. Delivery arrived and they assembled the bed frame and mattress and left. We laid on the bed and the frame swayed and had holes drilled into the headboard. It wasn’t assembled correctly. Ugh. More hassle. We called and they transferred us to customer service. No answer. We called and called and no answer. We sent an email and called the store again. We were told that they would get back to us within the hour. This was Sunday. And we have heard nothing. We had to take the frame apart on Sunday in order to sleep that night. It is now sitting in our garage. We are sleeping on a $2000 mattress on the floor. Customer service is the worst there. From top to bottom. Next purchase we will be going to Hudson’s. They were very nice but unfortunately didn’t have what we wanted. I would rather choose a different item than deal with Ashley’s again.
Nice place, the guy was helpful when we were looking for couches.
We purchased furniture here 5ish years ago. Paid for a lovely living room set that included two reclining couches, end tables, coffee table, lamps, some decorative items, all still in great shape just ready for change. Visited tonight hoping to be a return customer and was shocked. 3 grand for a regular no reclining couch, love seat and rattan...prices are super high because I guess they want everyone to do their 6 year finance program and pay 20% more than total cost by the end. I would much rather save a grand, pay cash now down the street for a a nice full living room set. Disappointed that it feels like a rent-a-center after having such a great experience last time we purchased there.
They didn't have enough help on Black Friday. I didn't plan shopping that weekend, I just happened to need things that weekend. I went somewhere else and spent over $3000.
Order a tv stand on Nov 30, delivery programed to Dec 11 between 4pm to 7pm. At 6:35 I received a call from customer service asking if somebody was called before to communicate the piece was damaged at warehouse and they have no idea when it will be available. Terrible service. Order will be cancelled and never more we order from Ashley Furniture.

First they forget the rails to my bed, then the foot board is messed up so they reschedule to have them both delivered at the same time. So they come to deliver and FORGET the rails a second time. I ordered this bed set almost two weeks ago. Why is it taking so long to get my stuff? Hopefully third time is the charm and I can get my new foot board AND rails this time. I don’t recommend this Ashley’s Furniture.
Really bad service after the purchase They Deliver my furniture in the box as if I bought it at Walmart after I spent over $7000 with them they have the worst service and their customer representatives keep saying we are going to get back with you we are going to call you but never did I had to keep calling him never Buy furniture from this store again!!!
Great experience with David (salesperson) in the showroom. He was very personable, knowledgeable and patient. Pricing was very competitive and quality matches well with the pricing. Durability is to be determined with time.😁
