Horrible service the sales person Paul Hirst did not wanted to take the time to help us because I had a $500 gift card and he was not making money off from us as he told us! He was annoyed and bother however two years ago we spent over $7,000 at that same store. Every time we liked something it was discontinued. I would give a zero but there is no zero star. On top that City Furniture furniture has no quality because they are from Vietnam , He should not be dealing with clients. All he cares is about making a sale no matter what! Very dissapointed. The nesting tables we bought are discontinued and to cancel the order and get a credit I have to go in person to the store which I wasn’t told. On Wednesday I got a text message from Ashley Furniture telling me I needed to call to confirm the elevator was reserved. I did take care of this with my building management earlier that morning before ever receiving this text. Even though I thought this was not an issue and was taken care of by Ashley when the store rep said she arranged delivery the previous day, I thought I better call that number, and I did. I waited 45 minutes for my call to be taken. I spoke with a representative on the phone who said she needed to call the building association to confirm what I did (i.e. reserved the elevator). She tried to reach them twice and then said I would have to call back again. I said after being on hold for 45 minutes I did not want to call back again. I told her I took care of this and was still confused why I was doing this phone call as delivery was confirmed by the store the previous day. She did say she would call me back to confirm the Friday delivery...and she did just that 20 minutes later. I thanked her and considered the matter closed. However emails started comingsaying I needed to call to confirm the elevator reservation. As I had already done this, I did not pay much attention. Then another email arrived with a new number to call to confirm the elevator, I thought what the heck, I will call (I actually thought it was the delivery company). The worst customer service once they have your money or commitment to an order. We ordered a recliner love seat back in Dec. 10,2023. They stated it was in back order until mid January, we did not think it was too bad, so we purchased and waited. When i called for a status they said now it was in back order until 1st week of February. I just got off the phone now for a status and its in back order now until March 15- 24.. so not even a specific date of when the love seat will arrive. However i have already made two payments for merchandise i don't even have or can enjoy. What type of business are these people running. Why are you selling items that you do not have in stock or can provide within a reasonable time frame. I am very disappointed and can not cancel because i sold my old sofa thinking i would have it within the 1st time frame they provided. MY ERROR! i am not saying not to shop here, just make sure when you do that they either have it in stock or make sure to confirm you will not have to pay for the merchandise until you received it!

Never in my life have I had such a negative experience with a company.I initially purchased a bedroom set and sectional sofa.All pieces arrived in a timely fashion, aside from one piece of the sectional which essentially made it a modular couch (which if I wanted to buy just a couch -- I would've bought just a couch.)After 6 months of incessantly attempting to contact my sales rep Samuel Yeargin (and never once receiving a reply) I was informed by Customer Service Rep via the corporate number that my missing item had now been discontinued.The company refused to refund the money for the missing item, stating the only person who had the power to do so was my sales rep (who I still until this day have been unable to get ahold of. -- even though he IS still employed by the company, it apparently isn't standard protocol for employees to follow up or rectify the situation) In order to receive a refund I had to file a dispute with my credit card company.Flash forward, I work with another employee from this store's location (Amina, she is the only competent person I have spoken with from this company in the 8 months I've been dealing with this nightmare situation.) Amina helped me to purchase a replacement item that would help my "couch" turn into the sectional I had originally ordered (albeit a different orientation than I originally desired but I was okay with that.) Come the day of delivery, I am contacted by the delivery team who informs me they are outside of my home. They were not however at my home, and continually ignored my calls for an hour -- only to text me an hour and a half later saying my order had been cancelled. Why was my order cancelled you ask? WELL -- ONCE AGAIN I HAD BEEN SOLD AN ITEM THAT WAS DISCONTINUED AND NO LONGER IN STOCK.I am now stuck with 3 out of the 5 pieces I ordered to create a sectional. The corporate line gives you the run around stating they'll contact the sales location, but you NEVER hear back from corporate nor the actual location. In order to receive a refund for items you never received you will need to make a dispute with your credit card company or financial institution. Also, be aware, that even though I was sold this "sectional" under the pretense that all pieces would arrive -- if items come up missing after the delivery process the company does absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. They don't refund you if you are unable to speak with the originally customer service agent, and they will not offer to swap items. It should be common courtesy of them to offer to swap the incomplete sectional I purchased at full price for a comparable item closer to what I originally went in for. I am now stuck with an incomplete couch that doesn't fit my space whatsoever. I am constantly on the phone with the customer service line and my financial institution and have yet to get any real resolution after 8 MONTHS.Do not do business with this company. It feels as if the employees will intentionally sell you items they know will never arrive because they want to earn the sales commission, at the customers expense. I wish I could give 0 stars. We originally spent a LOT of money on 2 new powered couches, a powered chair, a coffee table and a side table. The side table was a floor model that we took home that day as it was in good shape and a great discount (50%). That experience was actually a 5 star experience but Ashley has destroyed all good-will I had for them. About two weeks after taking delivery of our new furniture we decided we needed another side table. I called up Ashley (I spoke to 2 stores) with the model number and ordered what turned out to be the last side table of that model available but they swore it was new in the warehouse. Upon delivery, the reality was quite different, see the photos attached. There is no way this wasn't a floor model they wrapped up and sold to me at full retail rate. My ask was simple, I would accept it at the floor model price - with a young child it won't stay perfect forever - but I shouldn't be paying full price for this item as delivered. Ashley refused but offered to come repair it. Fine. Well, their repair guy came today and was himself shocked at the shape the side table was in. He fixed the bigger issues but was unable to restore the side table to manufacturer specs. There are still numerous visible scratches on the side table. Ashley still won't match the floor model price on this side table. At the end of the day they are giving me a partial refund but they refuse to honor that floor model pricing. It's a shame because the additional $75 I'm asking for, as a matter of principle, that they refuse to honor, will guarantee we never spend another penny with Ashley, City, or any other affiliated furniture companies. So, if you choose to shop at Ashley or City, go in knowing how poorly you will be treated and that they will absolutely try to sell you damaged goods and smile to your face while doing it. This is a review based on the horrible customer service we received. Everything at the show room and the moment of purchase was excellent and all the staff was amazing. The problem comes at the moment of delivery. We had previously experienced a problem with our bedroom set and were offered to have it exchanged. After picking out a new set and setting a date for them to come pick up the old set and drop off the new one we made sure to specify that it was important for it to be done the same day since they were going to take our mattress and bring a new one and if they came in two different dates we were going to be left with no place to sleep. The morning of the pick up and delivery came and once they got there they took all the old furniture and advised us that an other truck was coming in about 4 hours with all our new stuff (they took our old mattress). After waiting for the 2nd truck to arrive they came build our new bedroom and started walking out to leave. NO NEW MATTRESS! They looked at us and had no idea what we were talking about. They contacted us with the customer service were no one was able to help or acknowledge the mistake. After being transferred several times and arguing with several departments they said the only thing they could do was set up a re-delivery date which would take two days. We were forced to sleep on air mattress for two nights. I am a person diagnosed with fibromyalgia which causes extreme pain in my back that's why it's important the mattress where I sleep. It was two horrible nights caused by a reckless mistake.

Pretty much giving up on Ashley furniture. Got an incredible electric sofa, exactly the one that I wanted. It lasted only a few months before the internal mechanics started failing. The metal feels like it began warping, and when reclining, It tilts to the right and pulls away from the sofa. The metal bar then scrapes against the floor. Call customer service and they sent someone to come look at it. I asked them to look at the opposite side as I felt it was beginning to do the same thing. They told me that that side was fine, however I needed to replace the metal structure on the opposite side. They ordered a part and told me I'd have it in a week or so. We're going on well over a month. A couple weeks into the wait, the opposite side failed. Just as I thought. Called and was finally able to get a hold of someone. It took four or five tries and countless hours of waiting on hold. I sent them photos and they told me they were going to go ahead and see if the part could be ordered as opposed to waiting to have another technician come out. I was sure the parts to the opposite side would be here within a couple weeks. Well, that was 3 weeks ago. Still no parts and still no call back from the rep telling me if parts would be ordered. At this point, this sofa is unusable and the biggest waste of money I've ever had. Do yourself a favor. Stay away from this place. At this point, I feel like I throw my money away with no recourse. I would call to speak to customer service, but really don't feel like waiting on hold for another couple hours with no promise of actually speaking to someone.

You'll get the worse fabricated furniture. Stains, rips, discoloration, sagging, uneven finishes, you name it. You'll pay a pretty penny for their sets and pieces, but good luck when you receive them. Don’t waste your time coming to this store even if you might be paying a bit cheaper than another place. Once they take your money they could care less about the delivery process and how it affects you. First, a delivery truck showed up to my house one day without me even confirming with anyone or talking to anybody if i was going to be home or not. Then the second time when we agreed on a date, they called me 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive and asked me if I knew that the bed was not included in the items available for delivery which i found absurd because i had called 3 days prior to make sure every item was available for delivery because I did not want 2 separate delivery dates. I had emptied out my entire room and my whole house was a mess for no reason because why would i want an entire room set with no bed. I called and spoke with a manager named Benny and he said that the following week everything was set to be available but however he could not guarantee that all the items would even be available by that next Sunday because as the people are loading the trucks each day it could be that any item goes on backorder again. The next week approaching the day of the delivery I emailed to confirm if everything was available and my sales rep said that everything was available except one item which once again was inconsistent with what the manager Benny told me . I agreed because it was not the bed that was missing. The delivery day came and the men delivering the furniture told me before he unloaded everything that the headboard and the footboard of the bed is broken and that he could install it and i can order a new set or if not he cannot install the bed. I went back to get a refund and they couldn’t even refund it back on my card and gave me a bunch of excuses. These people do not care at all about you after you spend your money. Original Post: I have always thought of Ashley as a good store. Fair warning, they do not accept returns. Even when they are at fault. The chair came with no hardware. Their solution was to wait until April for something I bought because it was available today. Then their solution was for me to go to Home Depot and buy the hardware myself. As if Home Depot carries their stuff. Ultimately after 3 hours on the phone and another hour driving back to the store I was able to get a solution but it was not at all a happy ending for me. The customer service says they have a no return policy. The manager of the store says that only customer service can authorize a return. Don’t bother trying. Ashley and city furniture seem to prefer you just buy from Amazon where you can get a hassle free return if there is a problem. Very disappointed in a company I used to do business with. But no more.

I bought a chest drawer November 15,2020. The chest drawer arrived defective and I immediately informed my sale associate, which he immediately submitted the claim for me. He has been amazing. The next day the repair department was calling me to either exchange, send a technician or offer a discount on the drawer. I wanted a replacement because I really like the drawer. December 5, 2020 my replacement came in and once again it is defective. I immediately let my sale associate know and he submitted the complaint once again. Today marks one week since my sale associate submitted the complain and no one has called me. I don’t think is right that a customer need to be calling constantly to check when her replacement will becoming or if they will replace it. I’m super disappointed because I have been waiting on the phone for the past hour just to speak to someone regarding my drawer. My sale associate response fast and cares for his customers. I wish Ashely/Citi would care more about there customers. And I am still waiting on the phone.

Horrible experience purchasing and picking up furniture here. I bought an outlet display item and was explained that it&'d be ready for pick up next week. No issue with that, until I call the store to let them know of the day I&'d be arriving. First off, the phone rings until you get to their voicemail. The few times they pick up the phone, they are unhelpful and do not know what they are doing. On numerous occasions I was told that my couch would not be ready until long after I was told originally. Further, the day I go to pick up the item, I received no assistance. I explained I was there to pick up the couch and was immediately told to wait and that they would look for the person that sold me the couch. Not sure why they would need to get the sales person. After taking so long, the person that greeted me said he was unavailable and that we (person I came with) can get it. Mind you, my couch was on the second floor. I asked if they can please have their employees bring it to my car or at the least downstairs. The woman&'s response who had been barely assisting mocked in her response &"that&'s what you get when purchasing from outlet.&" My frustration grew with her as well as the whole staff. I went up with help to get the couch I already paid for and brought it downstairs. I will not be returning as a customer to this location.

My wife bought furniture for her cousin overseas and the order got there minus 4 legs. The sales rep said she would help. Still waiting more than a month later for the legs on a sectional. So much for service!!!!! They later wrote on google to send an e mail. Everything would be fixed it's been quite a few months and same. Nothing. I less than believe in this people as time passes by, too bad there aren't negative numbers of stars because my review would now be completely negative numbers, just don't know what would do them justice.

Working with City Furniture&'s customer service has been a headache! In the future, I&'ll stick to buying things from them that I can carry out of the store.We bought a table and sectional from here (Ashley next door but it is ran by City Furniture) and had problems with both. They called and confirmed delivery of our table and chairs and let us know they had also reserved the elevator for us. We were so impressed with the service for a moment EXCEPT on the day of delivery, they showed up with only chairs. The delivery people said that at the last minute, the warehouse told them they didn&'t have the table yet. After receiving nothing helpful from customer service, I cancelled the table with them, ordered the exact same one (Ashely Centiar Marble Round) on Amazon and got it within a few days! Second our sectional chaise was delivered almost a month after ordering and it arrived bent and damaged. Not to mention that we have to wait a few more days to receive the actual sofa. Working with City Furniture's customer service has been a headache! In the future, I'll stick to buying things from them that I can carry out of the store.We bought a table and sectional from here (Ashley next door but it is ran by City Furniture) and had problems with both. They called and confirmed delivery of our table and chairs and let us know they had also reserved the elevator for us. We were so impressed with the service for a moment EXCEPT on the day of delivery, they showed up with only chairs. The delivery people said that at the last minute, the warehouse told them they didn't have the table yet. After receiving nothing helpful from customer service, I cancelled the table with them, ordered the exact same one (Ashely Centiar Marble Round) on Amazon and got it within a few days! Second our sectional chaise was delivered almost a month after ordering and it arrived bent and damaged. Not to mention that we have to wait a few more days to receive the actual sofa. Im very happy with my entire experience here. The quality of the furniture is great and the delivery and assembly couldn’t have gone better. My salesperson, Andrea De Telecemian, was exceptional. She took her take to help me get the best deals and made great suggestions.
I was 1 hour standing in front of the bed waiting for help and when I went to look for it they treated me in a very informal way, I do not recommend them to look for another that if they can help you and be more courteous, they will have to eat the store because with that attitude they will not sell anything
No one there wants to work unless they're getting a commission off you. My husband drove to this location to pick up 2 lamps we paid for, says ready for pick up, and when he gets there, no one knows anything, no one wants to help you because they werent the person that sold you the goods, and no one even attempts to help you. Standing there for 10 minutes waiting for someone just to acknowledge you. You call customer service and youre on hold for over an hour. No one wants to work! Terrible experience and service all around for the money spent. Not a good look.
After one below average in store experience at the Sawgrass location and one poor online experience I decided to try one last time to purchase a sectional online. Turned out third time was a charm because I got Andrea Telecemian. She. Is. Phenomenal! She was attentive, thorough, created hand drawn drafts of my room layout, digital drafts, was patient, and didn’t mind all my questions regarding pricing and discounts. She totally carried the failures of other salespeople and turned my negative experience into a stellar one. If my purchase delivers as great as Andrea I will be happy for many years to come!!!

Had Andrea handle my order, although there was a minor issue with the delivery, she helped make things right. Any company can sell you stuff, but the true test is if something goes wrong how do they handled it? Well, the 5 stars says it all.
This is my second purchase from Ashley Furniture and besides being in love with the furniture I have totally fell in love with my sales associate ! She has literally done everything for me from setting up account ordering pieces and having them sent out to me. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t order anything. Avoid this store. I walked in and, while there were two salespeople at the front, I wasn&'t even greeted. Salespeople walked past me and clearly saw I was sitting on furniture and checking out various pieces, and no one even bothered to acknowledge me. Maybe they figured I was too young and wasn&'t actually going to make a purchase. Little do they know I have an entire apartment to furnish. I walked right out.

All the furniture is very cheaply made. The Dining tables are mostly some sort of plastic. Not worth the money at all. Most of the furniture that was in showroom was already chipped or cracked.
This location has the best selection with the friendliest associates in Florida . The Doral store is absolutely beautiful, you feel like exploring the entire store even after you have seen what you came for . The city furniture is in the same building and makes it seamless to scroll the huge complex. This is a one stop store for all your furniture needs with prices equal or below any other store in Miami. I'm done going from store to store only to end up in Doral for the best selection with quality furniture at the best prices.
I order a sofa on 6/9/2020. I was told I would have it on 7/15/2020. When I called to check something on 7/13/2020 I learned I would only be getting 1 piece of the 4 items I order. The other 2 parts are on back order. One would be here maybe 7/20 and the other maybe on 8/29. I never received a phone call from anyone about this. When I started questioning it and it was just excuse after excuse. I asked for a manager to call me. The manger never did. I called back 3 times and each time the manger was busy. I finally was able to cancel the whole order. The lack of communication and the way this whole thing was handle was unprofessional

I haven't received my furniture that I purchased here this past Saturday, but I have to say, I had a very positive experience with the sales reps and manager at this location. They were very patient, accommodating, and made my transaction very simple. I worked with the sales rep named Brian Leardi. He was so great and I am happy I came in to purchase the furniture with him, versus purchasing online. Hopefully, the delivery goes smoothly. But, so far so good. I do see myself coming back to purchase more furniture in the future. I will be coming back to this location too. Thank you all!

I normally do not leave reviews. However I feel I would be remiss if I didn't share my unfortunate and disappointing experience. I have furnished my home with Ashley's for a few years now and I had an exceptional and personalized experience at the store and all of my furniture has held up quite reasonably and for the most part I was very happy with my purchases.As I am moving yet again I was thinking of going back and finishing my new home with new pieces, but now I have been left with a sour taste in my mouth due to a completely avoidable circumstance. I have all my accounts set up on auto pay so that I will never miss a payment, because my credit is of the utmost importance to me, however at some point in time they changed their billing address and unfortunately I wasn't aware that my payments were not going to the right place. This seems like an easy fix, or so I thought. I called customer service in hopes of rectifying the situation. Unfortunately the representative that was assigned to me ( whose name I will leave out) was very combative, rude and condescending. I felt her attitude very strongly and decided I should speak to someone else because quite frankly I'm not one to argue, especially with a stranger over something that I know can be fixed. Her response to me has left me flabbergasted. She began to get louder and speak over me, over and over again. While I'm not one to argue, I'm also not ok with being treated like a child or like my issue was invalid. So I let her know again that I wanted to speak to someone else since I didn't feel like we were going to resolve anything. She spoke over me throughout the entire conversation, seemingly got too frustrated with the situation before even listening to me once, and dumped me on hold mid-sentence. I never raised my voice at this person and while I did not agree with her, I did treat her with respect which I did not receive back. I spoke to her supervisor and while I know he tried to help, it felt bland and insincere, he didn't really resolve my issue and I don't think he understood how upset I was at the whole experience. I am beyond disappointed with the "customer service" I received and I will no longer be using this company. I feel like like my credit history has been marred by something outside of my control and I felt disrespected by one representative only to be swept away by the next, the supervisor. If you do shop here I hope that you do not get the same treatment I endured.
