We bought some outdoor furniture that was very expensive.upon delivery we inspected everything carefully and found a cushion had a stain on it and 2 sliders that go on the feet were broken, after waiting for 2 weeks and countless and making multiple phone calls , sending pictures and being transferred from person to person.A crew showed up with no tools or equipment to make the repairs.They simply said they couldn't do it,and now we have to spend another day waiting for a repair crew to hopefully show up and make the repairs.Their furniture was nice but arrived damaged and they won't replace it.They won't replace it untill they decide it can't be repaired.

Ordered this viral couch, very expensive "ku grant" sectional pieces you can customize together. The couch is comfortable and great except for the fact the feathers CONSTANTLY come out and are poking you. This is a result of poor design and cheap construction of these pieces. Not a quality piece of furniture and NOT worth the price.

Horrible Customer Service. I paid $1,200.00 for my daughter's sofa plus $359.96 for 3 year stain removal and 3 year In Home service. I submitted the first claim ever after 2 years for sofa stains on my daughter's sofa and the reps were so rude and unprofessional. They told me it wasn't covered bc I don't know what type of stains they are and she hung up on me, Terrible. I will not purchase anything from this company henceforth.

Updating this review, a month later. We were told by our sales associate, Christian, that we would be receiving a $250 gift card after our purchase. We have been waiting for this, and were apparently "ghosted" by him after sending 3 separate emails that were not replied to. I went in last week in person to speak to someone in person regarding, because obviously we want the incentive we were promised after spending $4k on a couch here. I was met by the manager (DJ, or maybe EJ? Something with initials). He said he would assure to reach out to Christian, and he believes we were told the incorrect information about the gift card and may not be eligible. How disappointing...... especially since we had been told we would be receiving this. I was told that the manager would reach out to me with an answer shortly, and provided both my email & phone number. Over a week and still no response. NOW I see why this place has such bad reviews.....
The experience purchasing my sectional was great. But I was misinformed about my delivery date. Instead of just a couple weeks, it’s turning out to be a couple of months. Would have gone somewhere else if o had known that. Tried calling and emailing the sales associate with no response. Very disappointed.

I just recently moved from NY to Boca. I was unable to get anyone at City Furniture in Boca to pick up a phone so I called the Fort Lauderdale location. I dealt with an extremely incompetent salesperson named, Assunta (Susa) Trunick. I have a mile-long paper trail of text messages to prove how incompetent! I ordered a dining room table, six chairs, two nightstands, a desk and a WHITE desk chair. What I received was quite different! Assunta informed me that the TOP from my desk was on backorder (I was ok with that) On December 13, 2023, the dining room table was delivered with NO TOP, the desk came with no metal bars to hang folders and the locks do not lock. The WHITE chair was BEIGE. I was informed I had to wait until mid January to get the backordered top to my dining room table. I refused the table, chairs and desk chair and it has been an absolute nightmare since!I told City Furniture I wanted nothing further to do with them and cancelled/refused the dining room table and they continue to email me informing me that the top to my dining room table will be delivered this week. I will then have a dining room table with no base! IDIOTIC!I WILL NEVER SHOP AT CITY FURNITURE, EVER!

While we initially had a good experience purchasing from the Ashley Store in Miami Gardens, things went wrong after we had paid in full for our new bed set. When purchasing the bed we were clear with the associate Cookie and her manager Carla about the need for the bed to be delivered in a specific time frame due to us not living here permanently. We were assured that even though only 1 was in stock that we would receive our delivery as scheduled and should there be an issue, that more of our item would be available the following week so we will not have any problems. Much to our surprise I received a call from Cookie the next day that the item is back ordered and we won't be able to receive it until after we are gone. We were offered to change for a different bed in stock of the same value, but the options were not as nice as the one we had paid for. The options were then to refund or pay for assembly as our renters can receive the bed when we are not here. We wanted to do a refund, but we paid cash and were only able to be given a cheque back. As Canadians we loose significantly on our dollar in such a scenario. Given this, we asked if the store could cover the cost of the assembly since it wasn't our fault that the item was not available and this risk had not been communicated to us, quite the opposite. After going back and forth and a discussion with Carmine, the General Manager, we agreed to pay for the assembly as we would loose too much money on the purchase of the bed in a refund scenario. While we paid for this service, we should not have had to as the store lied to us re: item availability. As a business owner, I am astonished that a multi million dollar organization such as Ashley Furniture can not do right by their customers when they are in the wrong. Employees are limited by company policies and there is no one you can talk to above store level other than customer service on the phone, which is essentially useless. I took the time to write this review, because unethical practices of big companies are not fair to consumers. I am updating this post that the company reached-out to me to make this situation right which is appreciated.
I would give a "O" if that was an option. City Furniture has the worst customer care policy every. We ordered a bed, supposedly 80 inches long, for my tall (6'4") son. It came 78 inches, which does not leave any room for his long legs. The measurements on all the ads, manufacturers info is 80 but they confirmed it is only 78. So we can not get our money back or return the item because we accepted it. It is still in the packaging (untouched). So now we are stuck with a bed that we can not use.Also, the delivery guy told my son to sleep sideways. WTFCity Furniture do better....

On 10/20/23 when by the fort Lauderdale store as we were in the market for new sofa got help from one of the associates who was very knowledgeable and we were actually comfortable with our $4500.00 purchase the problem started when they advise that the product will not be delivered until 11/25/23 weren't happy about it but we know that stuff happens ok we requested that delivered be made in the am as no one will be home in the afternoon and also as ah certify for the long delivery time the day before delivery ww got text message that delivery was going to be pm now and no one will be home to accept the sofa reached out to the manager over there at the fort Lauderdale store to have this resolved and they promise they would and after much frustration dealing with different cust service personnel nothing was resolved finally got ah call from someone who was second and incharge at that store and they say new delivery was going to be 12//2/23 said ok as we were assure it would be done and on the day before the delivery we git ah call and was now told that products are on back order even though they were available the week before and through all of this was still expected to here from the general manager had promise to solve the issue and still waiting on that call don't know that ah well established company as city furniture would take better care of customer who is willing to spending there hard earn money

Delivery guys were good , couch is super comfy , dressing mirror are woefully subpar as in cheaply built . Customer service is atrocious . Absolutely the worst . Sales people will lie and say anything to get you to buy and once you've bought they could care less . Customer service was shockingly unwilling to help showed absolutely no compassion . 3-hour window is actually an 8-hour window so just keep that in mind when they tell you you got to get within 3 hours . My window was 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and I got my furniture at 7:00 p.m. I won't be a return customer .

The customer service at City Furniture has deteriorated dramatically recently. I have bought all my furniture from them since moving five years ago. I just placed an order Nov 8. The first delivery date (today) was abruptly canceled by the company, which in itself is not great but understandable. How the company chose to handle the new delivery date is where I had a big problem. Throughout the ordeal, the company precipitated a series of disorganized missteps and internal company confusion that resulted in order cancellation by me moments ago. The general tone of the company has changed from maximum customer convenience to maximum company convenience, including new processes for delivery that are intensely bureaucratic and customer unfriendly. Gotta love Karma.Update:I never heard back from Kate from the City Furnitures reply. It really just hits home how shitty this company is. After spending multiple hours just trying to return pillows (read below it's ridiculous) Kate replied that I would have to respond to her within 24 hours to get the issue resolved, because apparently only the business manager responding to Google reviews can resolve anything... and she never got back to me, which was obviously expected at this point. Demanding short turnarounds everywhere and then don't even respond. NEVER GO HERE. They run you in circles and waste time to the point that it's criminal.

When I stepped in the store, two young ladies greeted me which that was a plus for me then it was one particular item that I was looking for which I already went to two places to try to find a particular dining room, set the last dining room that I got from City Furniture was over 20 years ago. The dining room Said is still in a condition Quality but I went to City Furniture and couldn’t find what I was looking for this time so I stopped into Ashley and I found a nice wood that feels like great quality. I hope this table last me just as long as the one that I had before. Yes, it was a little bit pricey but the one that I got 20 years ago was also pricey it was like 1520 years ago and that was good quality so I vouch for City Furniture and Ashley because now City Furniture and Ashley‘s in one and I’m hoping the quality is just as good I really appreciate the young lady at Ashley on by the 826 for helping me
Everyone here is a very friendly and attentive. Cookie made us feel at home and made sure to follow up with us on great deals on the furniture that we wanted. I know in the future I am coming back to this store again for my furniture needs.
Their sales professional are extremely helpful and thoughtful - HOWEVER they're customer service is non existent (this is not an exaggeration you will listen to music until you get frustrated and hang up). I had a delivery scheduled, took off of work, and despite my sales representatives verbal, text, and email confirmation they cancelled my order the night before. Their solution: take off another day of work a week later and were not going to compensate you in any form for our mistakes. Completely unprofessional and for its 'Inflated prices GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I bought a mattress , adjustable bed and a bedroom set a few months back. I spent a decent sum of money in the store. Apparently money was owed back to me. So the company sent me a credit for $40 and they gave me 30 days to use the credit. 1) I wasn't aware that there was a 30 day limit on the credit. That was my oversight, and I admit that, and I didn't figure that out until I went into the store to try to redeem the credit about 45 days later . 2) The reason that I waited to redeem the credit was that I knew that there was nothing in the store to be purchased for $40; so I waited until I needed another item big ticket item and I would go in and add the $40 to my final purchase (about 45 days later). MY ISSUE WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE. 30 days or 45 days later, it's still my money and my credit. I went into the store, prepared to spend much much more than $40 and no one would honor my credit?? Looking back at my account, I've been a relatively loyal customer and spent a decent amount of money in the store over the years. because I didn't rush into the store the moment the credit came into the mail; it's no good? I was asked if I would like to purchase my item anyway even though the credit would not be honored. I declined based on principal. Ashley Furniture would not release (they get to keep) my money that I had in a credit form, but they expected for me to spend more in their store? No thank you. I think some of the customer service protocols needs revamping. Because they didn't want to honor a $40 credit they missed out on a much larger sale. Make it make sense.
Never again! Buyer beware. We purchased sheets, multiple duvet covers, pillows and their duvet. When I took the duvet out of the bag it felt crunchy so I looked to see what it was and it was not a down comforter as we were told it was. It contains 50% FEATHERS! for $200 are you kidding me? A few days later we had time to go back to return it and because it was more than 3 days they would not take it back nor would they even give us a credit. Who has a 3 day return policy?? Our son is allergic to feathers and now im stuck with this crunchy "duvet"! We just purchased a house and are about to furnish it ... we will not be going to City Furniture with this type of service.

Not a good variety of what I was looking to purchase. I was forced to select what I saw. I had a reimbursement voucher from a maintenance plan that I did not use. I was expecting a cash reimbursement, instead they issued a store voucher with an expiration date that had to be redeem at a Ashley Furniture store. I waited until the final day, I did not want to drive to my Davie location. My mistake, leaving me to pick something at this location.
This store, company and corporate turned what is supposed to be one of the most exciting times in my life, decorating and furnishing my new home, one of the most horrific experiences yet. They deliberately deliver you furniture you did not choose, in hopes that you will keep it, because they make returning it so much worse. They deliver you furniture that was returned and broken, although you paid for brand new furniture and no they NEVER exchanged it, although they promised to. They never delivered my son's dresser mirror and addition to it being the wrong furniture. They NEVER fixed my daughter's dresser and that was only a few issues out of many, from just the purchases of my kids bedroom sets. I decided not to even order my bedroom, living room, dining room, and other furnishings from there. I was depressed, I experienced extreme anxiety, and after almost a year of no corrections, I still don't want the furniture I paid for. I will never shop here and I beg everyone I know to never shop here as well.

The selection was huge with every type of dining chairs imaginable, placing the order was very simple and friendly. City Furniture delivered the chairs within 3 days. Delivery dates are not promised, furniture doesn’t show up on the truck, you end up doing the job yourself and when you ask for compensation, they offer you a $25 gift card. We won't be able to get the item until July, then we wanted to see if they could put a note saying customer is requesting item to be delivered July 3rd, they said couldn't do it either because they have to wait 'till the item comes in. So anyways we purchased anyways but have no idea when we'll get it. I just hope they follow through and call us when it comes in. It's a very nice showroom.

They don't answer the phone...ever. The lazy manager on duty couldn't be bothered to stand up from his perch to discuss a problem we had with our bed. When our bed frame and headboard were set up and there were large spaces on both sides and the adjustable bed couldn't lift up without pulling the headboard up, the delivery person said "we'll that's just the way there are and you have to rig it". He didn't offer to take it back because it was wrong. When we reached out to the The "customer service" department- they've been told to say NO to any and all returns regardless of the reason. They said it fit an adjustable king bed and it didn't. Our sales rep David was really great. The rest of the staff and off site "no" customer service line are worthless. Lesson learned. Don't shop at city furniture!

DO NOT go to this Ashley Furniture. I had great experiences with them back in California, but when I moved to Aventura it was a nightmare 1) When we went into the store and finalized what we wanted the experience was like out of a used car dealership. They kept us there for hours trying to force sell things we wanted to get off Amazon that we DID NOT want. 2) They delivery process (not the movers) was a nightmare. The shipped most of the items on the first delivery, but forgot a major couch pillow. They sent me the couch pillow in the mail, but did not give enough stuffing. 3) To get the couch pillow resolved took 20 days past the second delivery. I recommend you go to another store or order off Amazon!

Just went there on Saturday, 4/30. Walked into store. No one greeted me. They were sitting in showroom talking and laughing. I walked slowly all over store and while a saleswoman made eye contact, she didn't approach me. I walked out of store and no one said bye or anything. I will say this, i was super shocked that because of the lack of attention being so bad, a woman with a totebag walked around stealing small stuff and i saw her walk out of the store with an eerie calmness to her. Since they didn't care, I didn't either and said nothing, walking out 5 minutes later. I'd say I'll never shop here again but, it's the nasty attitude toward life in general anywhere in miami. Glad I'm moving upstate where ppl are ppl and not careless genetic sacs.

My salesman John I. was great. He helped my select the right pieces and was helpful knowledgeable and friendly through out the process. Had an issue, however, with picking up the furniture. I went to the warehouse the next week to get the items but they were having computer issues and were not able to retrieve my items right away. I had hired a moving service and took time off from work to make it happen only to hear the bad news. Had to wait an hour and pay for that extra time for movers waiting. Ruined an otherwise great experience

We bought a bed a week ago and I chose the same model that was displayed in the store with storage underneath. When the delivery came it came without this. So we called the sales person and she tried to talk herself out by saying we asked for this model knowingly that the selling point was the storage underneath this a complete scam!
I recommend Ashley because of the friendly and knowledgeable nature of the staff and most importantly the patience. I had the pleasure of working with Grace and she was awesome. My plans are to revisit them in the very near future.

Both Ashley and City Furniture are the worst place to buy Furniture or MATTRESSES .. The customer service it's terrible, they make mistakes and the customers are the ones paying for it.. I will never give my money to them again.. I bought a mattress which by the way the kill to sell u a mattress, they set up the wrong boxspring, and then they'll apologize to u but don't give u options to fix the problem.. They will say " oh we're sorry for the inconvenient, but u can not cancel the order and u have to wait more time to get it fixed" ridiculous...
The lady taking my husband order made a mistake and they refused to fix it. There solution was "keep it or pay $200 extra to get the one you actually ordered". This company's policies are absurd. They are a franchise own by city furniture and they do not care about the clients, just selling even if it's lying.
I purchased $9000+ in bedroom furniture on Nov 17th and as of today I have not received all of it and have boxes of pieces of furniture in my bedroom.

This is a first time I went to visit Ashley furniture I fail in love with welcome from John I had to purchase a nice table from him, John was very nice guy for Ashley store, he knows how to convince customers the prices were very affordable.
I walked into the store with no one greeting me nor asking me if I needed help. Maybe because the place is so big, they did not see me come in, anyway....I found the furniture here to be on the lower price point as compared to many other ones on Federal.I saw some sectionals under $1,000 here....as well as some other ones for higher prices. I was not crazy about any of the sectionals, most of them looked very boxy, not very impressed.......so I did not spend much time here.

So I bought a sleeper sofa for a total of 3000 dollars instead of 1400 because the payment plan was about 450 for 3 months without interest rate which was kinda expensive or 250 for a year with interest rate of 100% but 250 a month is more in my budget but very high interest rate. Also the process took a long time at the store and about the delivery it was fast and the delivery guys were nice except for in the end I didn't had a tip for them and after they left there was a mysterious scratch on the side of my car which wasn't there before, so.. be sure to tip the delivery guys.

Horrible customer service. Purchased a tempur-pedic LUXEbreeze firm tried to exchange for a softer . Tried to find a resolution but was informed that they do not honor the 90 day trial period. Always ask the right questions. And as for the representatives it’s not what you say it’s how you say it. Lack of customer service! Never shop there again!

They came right at the time they designated within the three hour window. Drivers were polite and dropped the furniture and all we needed to do was take it in and now it looks beautiful!. If I could leave zero stars I would! I'm so disappointed with the quality and service I have received that I want to send my whole bed room set back and not have to deal with Ashley any longer. After waiting for 2 months for the delivery It came WRONG! They delivered it with a 9in box spring (after I had ordered the 2in one) and made it physically impossible for us to get on the bed. After calling they did not want to change it but after several days they finally agreed. I have to wait an other week for the delivery but my bed didn't event last that long! Two days after the original delivery my bed dropped in the middle of the night randomly to the floor and broke completely. Once again I had to call and be several hours on the phone because their customer service sucks. My sales rep would not return my calls I had to even email her. Once they send a team to fix my bed they noticed it was because it was assemble incorrectly with a missing piece. 2 days after that my bed started peeling. I haven't had this bed room set for more than a month and had already 3 claims with them. I want to return my furniture because clearly it was not made to last. I have stuff from Ikea assembled by me that has last longer. Before purchasing your furniture from here please do yourself the favor and go somewhere else, you will lose your money. I will be filing a consumer complain claim with Miami-Dade.

This was the worst furniture experience I've ever had! First was sold furniture that would not come on the time frame that I was promised, but a month later. Then there was a delay in canceling orders and had late payments for a couch that I canceled and wasn't ever delivered. On top of that the Miami Gardens location never answers the phone, thankfully the hialeah location did. So if you have to go to Ashley go to the Hialeah location!
Genesis was the best person that could’ve assisted my husband and I with picking out our dining room set, very sweet and knowledgeable friendly, wish i could bring her to my place of employment. She definitely needs a raise!!!!!!!

This has been a nightmare dealing with customer service. I bought a dining table with four chairs on 01/10/2022. The sale guy was really nice and give me a few options. The purchase was easy and smooth. Delivery came really fast the same week on 01/13/2022. When I opened the box the top of the table was damaged on the corner really bad. The same day I filed a claim and next day the customer service reached out to me. The offered me a gift certificate for $200 if I was willing to keep the item which of course I completely disagree with the customer representative. The table was damaged and defective. The customer representative issued a new one after I requested to get a full refund of the purchase she states that the return policy won’t allow me to get a full refund because I bought the item from the store. I insisted again to get a full refund and she keeps telling me the same, so I agree with get a replacement of the same item. Mind you this the second order and guess what happened again , the table came defective and damaged almost in the same area. Here I go again submitting another claim and requesting a full refund. This time the representative was asking the same thing if I was willing to keep the item for a $200 gift certificate and again I said no, I would like to get a full refund. I paid almost $800 for that dining table and they offered me only $200, no ma’am. I am disputing the charge with my bank and I still have the item with box and everything on my living room, waiting to get solution.Today is 01/26/2022 and I still with no dinning table. I requested them to send someone to pick up the defective item and she told me that they need to send the same item again for the third time, I told her I did not want the item anymore because it will keep happening the same issue. It has been a nightmare dealing with this people. I bought all my other items from Rooms to Go and they were diligent with everything. Rooms to Go gave me a refund for a item that it was not delivered by mistake just because the item was not delivered on time and two days later the item was here. Never again buy anything from Ashley Furniture nor City Furniture. Stay away from them.

The worst customer service, over promised under delivered sales person really wanted the sale promising the item were in stock. WRONG WRONG Delivery was set the truck arrived with the dresser, night stands and bed frame without the headboard and however the slabs to hold the mattress were not included. Excuses were lame. Sales person was called he stated he would fix the issue and schedule a follow up delivery. Delivery guys sent pictures of missing items were on the phone with customer service the agents asked for me to file a claim and send pictures, which was ridiculous since delivery guys had done it. The sales person called back stating management approved a credit and if I want to go buy the missing pieces from Amazon. Second delivery was set for headboard still no slabs to hold the mattress. Third delivery I had to calls after weeks of waiting when I spoke to an agent the excused was they had attempted to call multiple times. Finally delivery was set the entire bed frame which was never set up was taken back / replaced with a new one supposedly because slabs don’t come separately. Third bed slabs were included however the support for the middle of the mattress was missing. Customer service asked to take the bed back and I am still waiting for delivery. Don’t buy from Ashley Furniture or City Furniture unless you can put up with lies, horrible customer service and take no responsibility by saying to go buy the missing piece from Amazon. Run run run 🏃♀️ please stay away from those people, specially the one I'm Miami Gardens, all they do is giving you broken stuff, charge you a lot of money for nothing, and one you give a deposit when to refund you that money they keep on playing with you like a kid saying you're going to receive a check in 7-10 business days so when the two weeks passed never received anything, 2 month nothing, I've been waiting on a check since April still now I still can't receive it every time I called they gave me a different stories. Please go somewhere else. Some of the employees are nice specially Pierre Joseph, but manager oopss not good at all stand and front of you lies to you, Juan Carlos is not someone to take a word from, all he's been doing is lie.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE. IF IT ARRIVES STAINED, DAMAGED, OR BROKEN, you cannot ever reach the store- over hour hold each time. Even when you request call back, no ones call back. When you contact corporate, they bounce you back to contacting store because it wasn’t an online order. It’s been three weeks and multiple tweets and NO RESOLUTION or OWNERSHIP of the issue. Empty promises to call me after 24-48 hours. I case number that’s useless and meanwhile I still have a stained, damaged sleeper sofa that they refuse to assist with so I can exchange it. RUN FROM HERE. I’m about to report them to the BBB.

Then when we went to mattresses and as I tried out the different mattresses she explained the benefits and then also how the bases were not much different between each one. She told us that she was helping another client and she will be with us shortly. We told it was no problem we are still deciding. We went across the street to City Furniture and Room’s to go. Just look around. Then we went back to see if Tatiana was ready for us which she was. I would highly recommended her to anyone who is looking to purchase furniture she was very professional, pleasant and just overall a friendly person. My family and her personality clicks as we met, I told her the furniture was go my don who was there with us who is going to UF in Gainesville Fl. and she was congratulating him like he was her child. Good sales person but the delivery was terrible. The sofa was damage trying to get it in the house. While trying to get it it it got scratch, dirty and damage the door frame. Save your self a headache because they won’t return your money and buy somewhere else UPDATE: the issue was resolved promptly within 3 days they pick up the damage one and send a new one. I do appreciate this I understand things happen. The couch is great! Great quality !!
I really don't know where to start. But the service I got when I made my purchase was very unprofessional up until it was delivered. I had made it clear that the purchase was needed before I leave town in January which they promised would be meet. I net getting notification that delivery date was changing.The delivery guys were unprofessional and no help at all when I asked about the missing priced of furniture. I had to drive back to the store a total of 3 times from my initial purchase cause furniture were missing and the order detail was incorrect and charges where added that weren't not discussed when I made my initial purchase. Dont get me wrong there are good employee there that tried to help and diffuse the matter but its sad to say my overall experience at this stores on 167th was VERY BAD and HORRIBLE. They have very nice furniture but with the experience I gained I would go back in person or make another purchase at that location again. They need to get more uniformed and retrain the employee on the floor that are helping customers making purchases. My purchase was made in December of 2020 and didn't get resolved/ corrected until April 21,2021
We had a great experience at Ashley Home furniture in North Miami! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Jose was very patient, personable, and knowledgeable! We just went in to browse and ended up buying an entire bedroom set and a mattress since it was such a great deal and Jose helped to find the perfect match for us! As soon as I walked in to the store I had a great greeting by Angel the Sales representative. She walked with me Throughout the whole store. I was I was not able to find what I was looking for on the floor,I’m very picky but right away Angel got on her tablet and was able to find exactly what I was looking for within a few minutes. She got me hooked up with financing. She Was able to answer all my questions explained everything with detailed. I got my stuff delivered the next day. And not only that .But not like other stores that sell you something And forget about you. She called the next day to make sure that I receive my furniture And that I was happy. This was my first time going to Ashley furniture but definitely not my last .

These past two years have been crazy ones but the experience in this store was OUTSTANDING to say the least. I went in on a busy Saturday morning at opening and was greeted by smiling faces and readily available sales associates. I went in for a bedroom set and immediately one caught my eye. We were approached by Tattiana full of energy and a wonderful personality, so knowledgeable but not overwhelming.., Exactly what you are looking for when making a big purchase. She answered all our questions and was so professional. Not all our items were available for delivery right away so I have stayed in contact with her and she has been so patient and so helpful. I will definitely be returning again for future purchases!
The worst service I have received from furniture store. I bought a sofa set last week and firstly they delivered with different colors and change 3 times the delivery date. The last date changed was 2 months later. I don’t recommend them.!! They are selling without inventory.

Customer service was great the day we walked in to buy but almost 3 months later the sales person has a piss poor attitude. It first took about 3 weeks to get the furniture. Was no problem to me but when you don’t receive any information on who and when you make your payments is frustrating, especially when the sales person says it’s out of her hands she has nothing to do with that. SMH I finally found out who I have to call to make my payments but should have been given that information when I asked for it the day I bought my furniture.

Mrs. Enid Rivera Gomez, was awesome she had so much insight all I had to do was tell her some of the things that I would like. And she went from there. She is a people person. She caught my attention when I first came in the door. She even compliment me on my blouse The Bling & the Shining is what we have in common. I was very pleased on my item she helped me pick out. The dinette set was very comfortable. The chairs are padded the table is the right height. I will be back to buy my next piece of furniture and I will call and make sure she's there yes she did her job well & professionally once again I was pleased.

It's been a long time since I have had a great service I walked up to the door shop for a bedroom set ,once at the door I couldn't find my face mask The person that greats you when you come in went out of her way to find one for me Finally that person's name is Tatiana the sales rep No pressure she let me shop around and then she was with another customer I had a question and she said was busy with her customer and hooked me up with Chris the manager To make a long story short once she was finished with her customer she came back and took care of me Chris did an excellent job explaining everything on the choice of merchandise . Tatiana worked hard for me on the pricing with Jose ,so I ended up purchasing not 1 but 2 bedrooms sets without even going shopping somewhere else i highly recommend Ashley and with Tatiana your in good hands

Shopped for, bought, financed, and arranged for delivery of a sectional sofa from a long distance. I haven't received the sofa yet, so I can't comment on the quality of the merchandise, but the service from Aile was excellent.
I’ve been waiting over two months for my sofa to get delivered, first it was on back order, which there’s nothing I can do about that and I understand that. Then they delivered the loveseat Jan 23 because they had it which was great, I’m still waiting on the sofa for over 2 month which they have in stock, so inventory is not the issue. I’ve been scheduled for delivery 3 times through out the month of February and March, all three times the delivery driver canceled because “it’s out of there inconvenience” and they’ve made me wait all day in my house to have it canceled at night time wasting my day away multiple times, I think I might just return the furniture and get my money back, never shopping again from them

Ordered it, then got an email that that one wasn't available for another month. Also most of them they don't even have in the showroom...what the heck?? So I just canceled it all. So sad. I must say that the lady on phone was nice. But I couldn't seem to get ANYTHING I liked.

To start off I ordered a bed before December and I was exited to receive my bed . But then we received a call that my bed would be backed up and I was in shock . When I ordered my furniture from different places they never backed up my bed before . However , to top it off I went to this exact place 2 times and was ready to pay the bed off but they stated that “ their system was down “ . Then a couple days before dropping of my furniture to my home they gave us a call/text that it would be dropped off but then the lady stated that “ a bunch of pieces from the bed would be missing . This left me in shock so when they can to my house I only received a head board , dresser , and chest . For example , I thought everything would come but only a head board came from my bed then we called the lady and told her that we are missing pieces then she said that my bed will come February 11th . If that was the case they should’ve waited until February 11th to give me my ENTIRE bed and my other items .The reason I wrote this was to let you guys get an understanding from my point of view but I can’t tell you not to shop there or shop there .

They had re-scheduled it for the 27th ...Christmas was right around the corner and the sales rep or any one at this store notified me of this.. I was truly upset and disappointed.. I did not want to have my family have no furniture on Christmas day! I couldn’t believe such horrible CS during this time... after calling multiple times I finally had the manager assist me and schedule the delivery for the 24th... good for selling but 0 communication... I love Ashley's but this store was not it...
My wife and I bought a house and only had bedroom furniture to add to the house. We walked into Ashley's Home store and Melissa Romano immediately greeted us. Melissa was absolutely amazing! She truly looked out for my wife and I. She truly cared about our comfort and happiness. We told her our vision and she didnt stop until we got exactly what we wanted. We ended buying our living room and dining room furniture with Melissa and she was so AMAZING that we even ended up buying a mattress. Naomi was very helpful and she gave us time and space to try out different types of sleeper couches. She showed us various options as well and made the whole experience enjoyable, easy and stress free. We also visited City Furniture and Rooms to go but Ashley has nicer choices and better prices. All in all a great place to shop for furniture.
So ordered a couch two end tables a coffee table a behind the couch table and a recliner. We spent just at 3000.00 dollars. That included delivery because we didn't want to purchase the warranty. We were told that the delivery fee had to stay but if we purchased the warranty they could work with the delivery fee. We were told that everything but the couch would be delivered around the first week of December. They only brought one of our end tables and said the other would be delivered with the couch. They put the end table up against our couch. Later my husband came home and moved the table and found that the legs were uneven. Talked to our sales rep Enid(if you get her I'd find someone else to help you) she was to have our couch delivered on the 29th of December. She told us that she didn't know what happened but the computer showed, that it was scheduled to be delivered on the 5th. Also that we would have to speak to a customer care for the table. That we had to send a picture but my husband told her you couldn't see the defect by picture only by video. Sent a video and said she never got it. So later, Enid called with they could deliver the pieces by December 30. The day before the pieces were delivered we called because we have a time slot between 8 and 4:30 and the slot they gave us is 2:00 to 5:30. So in talking with the lady come to find out that the request for the other table was dropped. And the person that was handling Vivian never called him back about not receiving the pictures. So they said they could deliver that table on the 7th. Well now they came to deliver the end table and the couch and the delivery person said the couch was too big to get in the elevator. We ask them to bring it up the stairs and was told they were only allowed to bring it to the 3rd floor and we would have to get it up the rest of the way or have to get someone to deliver it for us. We were never told that they would only go up three flights of stairs. So now no couch. Oh, the other table it's off balance too. Honestly Aventura Florida isnt my favorite place because of the tourist here. Was so excited to finally make my home feel more comfortable with new furniture. Just to have Ashley Furniture spit in our faces. This world is hard enough that we should be able to buy things and have at least 30 days to return. I just feel sick. If I could give them a zero star I would. My suggestion, if you could shop somewhere else do it. At least not at this location.

Has a decent selection of furniture with varying price levels, fit for most budgets. Quality seems pretty good. But they use City Furniture for their delivery and setup and, so far, that's been a problem with our order.
By far, the best costumer service experience. As I walked in to the store Daniel greeted me with a smile, and asked if I needed any help. I spent a while picking out a sofa & dining tables, Daniel answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. I am extremely happy with the service he provided for me and made the whole transition very smooth.

Ashley had a promotion test out a bed get a $50 p gift card. That was November 19. Mr. Foxworth said give it 7 days and you'll receive a giftcard to your email 12/28 still no gift card. #2 I called after getting the recliner Unfortunately my home is getting out the hospital they're going to put her in hospice we no longer need the recliner. Keep in mind I asked him before I purchased the recliner and he said no problem I could return it. Lies I was told after the item is delivered there's no returns. Lies on top of lies

I have been a customer of City Furniture for many years. My experience with yesterday&'s delivery makes me wonder if we should continue to shop there. The order was for a glass top table. Set-up could not be completed because bolts were missing from the order. The service personnel did not want to leave the table because it was unstable. Customer service advised me that although the table was in stock, the replacement table would not be delivered until Dec. 21st. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told to expect a return call. I am still waiting. After the service personnel left, I had to clean up the remnants of packing materials for a table I do not have. They used my furniture as a sawhorse to assemble the table. Now I need to see if the chairs were damaged. The service personnel did not have masks and were using bandannas. We asked them to use new paper masks which we gave them. They would not use them. Not the type of service or attitude I am used to. A very unhappy customer!

The worst experience ever buying and waiting for furniture! After waiting a month for an entertainment center to arrive, only three of the four parts came today. They left in pieces in my floor because the fourth piece is back order another month. Why would they deliver part of a entertainment center and not be able to assemble it? The worst was trying to get anyone on the phone!! Impossible. After hours waiting to talk to someone I drove to the store where I was met with incompetent sales people and manager. Finally I was able to cancel my order but now have to wait TWO weeks for them to pick up the pieces on my floor and wait for a credit for furniture I won&'t get. Stay away!!!!
Went here and spent over 10 grand on furnishing our home. Spent several hundred extra dollars on insurance for our furniture to cover things like spills, etc. Recently discovered the seam on the back of the couch is coming apart, so called about warranty. We were told that we would have to use our plan we purchased (which we should have gotten money back on had we not used). It&'s asinine we have owned this furniture for less than 6 months and City isn&'t standing behind thier product. Typical. Guess we won&'t be spending any of our money there in the future.
If I could leave a 10 star NEGATIVE review I would. I ordered a platform bed. Just a platform bed. It took 7 deliveries, and multiple telephone calls with hold times all in excess of 1 hour. They delivered the bed piece by piece... headboard, footboard, rails, mattress, and then could still not assemble the bed after 6 weeks because they couldn&'t find &"slats&" for the bed. All customer care said was &"I&'m sorry&"; &"I apologize&", offered no monetary compensation, no rush service, nothing. Every time I called in to reschedule I had to wait another 2 weeks for an appointment. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT USE CITY FURNITURE....

When it comes to mattresses, she thoroughly explained each one to me that helps me make a wise decision. Raymondjee has a great personality that makes me feel comfortable and ready to purchased. I even tell Raymondjee not to ever leave this store until I change all my Furnitures. I highly recommend her.
We purchased a dresser from City Furniture on 9/21/2020. We got delivery a few days later but upon uncrating it found the particle board holding the drawer supports was broken. We immediately called regarding the damage and sent pictures to &"customer care&". They arranged for a re-delivery and exchange but we were advised that although in stock, the new dresser could not be delivered until 11/11 - 7 weeks later! Fine, we dealt with this. Today, 11/11 we received the replacement and it too was damaged. We did not uncrate it as we can see the damage through the bottom of the crate which was crushed. We immediately called the driver AND customer care to have this picked up and replaced. They are now telling us we have to wait until 11/24! When we asked to speak with a manager we were put through to the &"escalation team&" and we were told that nothing more could be done to replace this sooner and we would have to wait (even though it is in stock). When we asked for a refund at this point because it is ludicrous after so long and 2 damaged dressers to have to wait another 2 weeks while this huge crate sits in our living room, we were told that there are NO REFUNDS!!! Do not purchase from this company!!! Look at the BBB rating they have (1.09 out of 5) and beware. They do not care about the customer. There are numerous examples of unhappy customer complaints on the BBB website under &"Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc.&" Look them up before wasting your time.

It was more than I expected, and I was very pleased to see the level of Customer Service extended to me by the company. It was an unfortunate confluence of circumstances, but the fact that the company owned its mistake and offered compensation was a stand up move in my opinion. My bed arrived today, and I am very happy to report that all the pieces were on the truck!
Stay away.Their furniture looks good but their customer service is awful. We ordered two outdoor couches. When delivered over a week later (don&'t believe their advertisements of next day delivery), one was damaged. We immediately called and it took them a week to call us back. Despite selling us the warranty, it turns out these couches cannot be repaired and it would take a month to replace our couch. I looked online and it&'s in stock and their website said it could be delivered in two days. When asked abojt it, we were told to hat that was only for new orders and there was absolutely nothing they could do, we had to wait a month. When asked if they could inbox the furniture before we accepted it to make sure it was damaged we were told no. Instead the delivery driver would take our old furniture, then leave the boxes couch and leave. We would have to unbox it and deal with all the cardboard a second time. So not only will we have to wait over a month, we will have to deal with the cardboard all over again, and we could still have to deal with this all over again because it could be damaged. No compensation. Refused to offer the unboxing service (but we could pay for it additionally). No attempt to try and get it to us sooner. Cold unhelpful customer service. But it doesn&'t end there. Since our couch can by city&'s own Custer service, &"not be repaired&" I asked if we could get our repair contact refunded. I was told sure, but the store manager has to approve it... I&'ll transfer you. Get transferred. They didn&'t tell the store anything, not even my name so had to go through everything again. The person that needed to do this was bust and would call me back that day. Two days later and counting... no call back. No refund. Just more poor customer service. TLDR: their stuff looks good but be prepared for hell if something comes damaged.

Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered two twin beds and a bedside table. On the first delivery date, the rails of one the beds was missing, so they took the remaining pieces of the bed with them on the truck. I was told I would get a call from Customer Service to reschedule delivery. They never called, so I had to call them, spending 30 minutes waiting on the phone for an agent. To add insult to injury, they had brought the wrong end table into the house and set it up in the room. Luckily, I checked the room before the truck left. I had to chase the drivers down. My correct end table was on the truck but they hadn't even realized they had left the incorrect one. Then, on the day of the second scheduled delivery, I got a call saying they didn't have the headboard. The fact that I had a headboard in my home and they took it with them is galling. I am now scheduled for yet a third delivery. What a disorganized company! I would never recommend them to another customer!

The worst customer service and delivery teams around! $150.00 later !

I am torn. I have had some good experience, but then not so good. I thought it was important to let the public know. The main issue is I feel they are all about sales and not follow up. I know COVID is causing delays, however work waiting for Furniture since July. The expensive table we ordered still has not arrived and they keep shifting dates. I have to keep following up, the salesperson has zero interest in helping me after the sale. The customer service lines has long wait times and can&'t always help. I ordered a pouf to match the couch, pillows, carpet etc. They never delivered is and now they are telling me it&'s discontinued. They still did not offer how they will compensate this error. I mentioned sending them pillows back and other stuff sent back to look for new items to all match. They made that seem not possible. I guess if you are looking for quick furniture and items, this is not the store as their times for arrival are not always true.
I ordered a Table in August just getting it yesterday. It came damaged. As so AS the other two items I&'ve ordered. Not only I can&'t get my table until Nov I requested the table be put together by the delivery person that was not a previous request, but to be accommodated I thought they would grant it well they wouldn&'t. I want ever buy anything else from them or recommend them AT ALL!!!!

This company will be out of business soon. The customer service is absolutely horrible!!! I ordered a set of white barstools. When they arrived I noticed they were yellow and completely unstable. Went online and submitted a claim with no response. Then I made some calls... they want to charge a $99 restocking fee lol they sent the wrong product and they want to charge me what a joke. I will never do business here again. The customer service and return policy stand no chance against amazon.. and the product has the quality of ikea trash..
Quite possibly one of the worst furniture shopping experiences I have ever had. Purchased a new bed frame in May of this year and was delivered promptly (week of). When the piece arrived the headboard came with scratches so I immediately took pictures and contacted city furnitures "customer care" line. I was told that a replacement piece would be on back order and it would arrive mid July time. Well, July time rolls around and I never got a call/nor notification that my scheduled delivery was not going to be delivered due to another "back order". After this, I was told I would need to wait until August to receive the replacement piece. August approaches and what do you know, the truck that my replacement piece is on "breaks down". Mind you, I am not getting any calls... it is myself who had to continue to follow up with them. They assure me that my new bed frame would be scheduled to deliver the following week as they already have it on the truck and in stock. Well, what do you know, I don't get a call the following week and still my bed frame is not delivered. It is now September time and I had a new scheduled delivery for September 15th. Never got a call nor any notification and it was never delivered. I followed up today to find out that the piece is now AGAIN on back order until November 18th and they cannot do anything to compensate me or refund me at this point. Not even a dinky store credit. BE WARE of this place!! They are scam artists and are only accommodating to you up until you pay. After that they don't care about their customers and don't care about "customer care". What a shame of an organization.
I just purchased sleeper love seat from City Furniture. Unfortunately, the wrong item was delivered, but I understand that happens sometimes. Customer service was very helpful and explained that the item had been marked wrongly and that I could easily exchange the item for the correct one. I had to wait a little longer, but I was able to get the correct item and I love the size and color as well the the functionality of the sleeper loveseat!
The prices are good, store is nice furniture was set up really well.

I had the worst experience ever in my life buying furniture on June 28th. My husband and I bought for the first time at City Furniture store in Boca Raton near I-95. We bought a bedroom set and they first delivered the dresser, nightstand and left the rails of the bed. Another day they came and delivered the drawer chest because it was back order. Everything was supposed to be delivered until July 14th but one piece of the bed until today September 19th we did not receive it. It's almost three months waiting for my bed and we are paying for the product that we still do not have received.
Worst experience for purchasing furniture in my entire life. They wouldn't let me exchange a brand new couch (called to exchange within 30 minutes of delivery) because it was just too big for our space and they said they do not do any returns or exchanges. I was supposed to have denied the delivery before they brought it into my house. It was covered in plastic and cardboard and we had to unwrap it, so how were we supposed to deny delivery when we couldn't see it setup? This is outrageous that a furniture store would not take an item back for at least an exchange. I am cancelling my credit card with them ASAP and will never shop there again. Would give them zero stars if I could.
Never a dull experience with City Furniture, I just love the way their showrooms laid out, doesn't matter which location. They are literally the only furniture store in south Florida my wife and family satisfies with. They have done again!
The saga continues. I was lied to about delivery dates in a 5 piece sectional. Told everything was in stock and I could have furniture deleted in a day or two. Not so. Just nonsense to get me to buy. Only one of the 5 pieces was available. That&'s mid August. Told everything would be delivered today, mid September between 3-6pm. Get a call at 4 pm that they damaged the sectional when loading the truck. Why call now, not on AM when it was damaged? Now I have no furniture for my guests this Friday. What&'s the next available time for delivery?..,,,,The end of October. DONT. DEAL WITh CITY FURNITURE!. Sorry I ever did. So I now have received furniture which is falling apart from my first order, and no delivery on a sectional I paid for in August that I won&'t see until October- November......maybe!
My husband and I purchased the Tahoe Dark Blue Fabric Loveseat on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the Doral store 25 in Miami, Florida and it was delivered on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Within the first two weeks after accepting delivery, the tops and insides of both arm rests started to pill or develop fuzzballs on them. We called the store and customer service to ask if we could exchange it or receive a store credit, and they said that they don&'t accept returns once an item has been delivered. So we asked them what they can do for us and they said, unfortunately we cannot not do anything for you, and that issue is just a &"characteristic&" of the fabric and to use a razor to &"clean up&" and &"shave off&" the fuzzballs as they develop.So now, we are stuck with a defective loveseat that already looks bad. We have never had a sofa develop fuzzballs anywhere on the fabric at all, and especially only after two weeks in. We had to buy a protective cover to place on the loveseat to reduce the amount of pilling on the rest of the loveseat. This loveseat replaced another fabric sofa (from a different store) that we used in our den for 20 years with not one fuzzball on it... with daily use. Since this is obviously a &"defect&" in the fabric, it is very unfair to the customer that the sales person did not disclose that information to us at the time we purchased the loveseat. And it&'s also very unprofessional to have one of your customer service representatives tell us to &"shave&" the fuzzball off of the fabric. We are VERY UNHAPPY with this product and the response that customer service gave us.Furthermore, after many attempts of communication via phone calls, chats and emails, no less than 8 separate occurrences, a customer service rep (not the sales person or the store manager - as they did not return our calls), did agree to replace the loveseat with another one, exactly the same. Since we were both fearful of the pilling/fuzzballs happening again, we asked just to have our money/credit card refunded. Again, we were told that could not be done, and at this point, it was either keep the existing defective loveseat or agree to have a new replacement delivered. We also told them that we do not want ANY furniture from City Furniture, but did agree to the new loveseat. So let&'s see what happens with the replacement loveseat. But, I&'ve never experienced a store that does not stand behind it&'s product. This has been an absolute horrible experience!I&'ve attached several photos of the pilling and/or fuzzballs on the loveseat.
This was my third purchase at City. Our sales rep Lascelles couldn&'t have been more helpful. He was patient & knowledgeable made the whole experience so easy. He really went over and above.
The people who helped me buy my furniture amazing!! The people who delivered it trashy and unprofessional. One guy didn’t have on a mask. The other guy wouldn’t stop being rude. Definitely a two sided experience. I do not ever want a CITY FURNITURE delivery guy in my house again.
Our Sales Rep was an intern named Alex. He was great - knew his stuff! We bought a new sofa and matching chair - love it - and also a new mattress for our daughter&'s bedroom. We did free shipping which was super easy and the Delivery Drivers called ahead before they arrived. Nice job!

Bought a sectional set from them. On the delivery day the guys showed up at 9:30am instead of the timeframe I was given, between 10 to 2 pm. Very unprofessional. When it was delivered I noticed right away the hook in the bottom that keeps the two pieces together,didn't work. I immediately filed a claim online. Message said I would hear back within 48 hours. 7 days later, NOTHING ! I Also bought 4 chairs. When they were delivered some were missing the plastic tips on the bottoms. Called and spoke to a customer service rep. Told they were ordered and would receive them within two weeks...Again, NOTHING ! Decent prices but crappy service!
I had a wonderful experience at city furniture from my purchase with my sales associate to my drivers on the day of delivery. He had an iPad and did the whole transaction from start to finish as we walked around. So convenient and easy!! We needed a desk for a home office, but while we were there, we ended up getting even more pieces that we fell in love with. The Fort Lauderdale location is great, and so convenient for us!

Place is a complete joke. Bought a couch that was supposed to be delivered Tuesday between 9-6 we are told. Then we hear it will be between 4-7 so my roommate calls off work to be there for couch. Address was wrong a mistake on the store and delivery driver who texted and called us refused to deliver 8 miles away due to their mistake. Customer service rudest person I've ever spoke. To in my life how she still has a job is insane. They employ people who don't care for customers or their job. nEVER buy anything form here ever I will make sure my friends family etc never ever step foot in any of their stores again

The upside was our bed frames are great and we have moved them from Florida to Colorado to Long Island so that in itself is worth 3 stars. Ordered a mattress to be delivered on Saturday we were moving into our new home . We unpacked it and it was the wrong Mattress and the wrong size. I was told we had to send pictures . Because we are not able to move in (no bed) I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to take pictures . Sent them no reply. I called and the best they can do is 10 days for delivery of new mattress . So we cant move in unless we pack up the King mattress and drive it 45 mins away to their warehouse! Thanks for the great Customer service I i have to furnish a 14 room home and I wont be doing it a City Furniture !

Came into the store during a 10% off sale. Found two recliners and asked for a best deal. Was told 10% is best offer. I said thank and walked away. Looked around for a better deal. After one week, and unsuccessful in finding a better deal we returned and asked for the 10% original deal to purchase the two recliners. Basically, we were told too bad the deal is over. If you want them you'll have to wait until they are on sale. We said "we willing to buy these right now at 10% off and you're saying no?" The response was yes, sorry. Think we will look for a furniture store that actually wants to do business.
Last year in June a bought a couch from City Furniture and it has slowly been falling apart. I've been trying to call there customer service to submit a claim because it keeps telling me my information is wrong on the website. Today, I finally got a hold of someone and apparently my warranty expired a few days ago and the extended warranty I have is only for spots and stains. I have no kids and my dog is not allowed on the couch, yet this is the quality of their product. I am highly disappointed in this company. If I wanted a low quality couch I would have just gone to Walmart.

Sylvester Humes and Fernando his coworker whom he calls Eddie (as a joke) make an awesome delivery team. They delivered a sectional to my home recently and they were incredibly polite, professional and clean. They made me feel safe by wearing masks and booties in my home, and taking extra precautions to stay at least 6 feet away during. I was home alone with my two kids when they arrived, struggling to move my old couch out of the way. They went above and beyond and helped me move my old sectional out to the garage! These guys were awesome, made me laugh, all around good experience from the delivery team.
Buyer Beware 2. Finally got a call from the salesperson at CF. She said the furniture order was pending. Obviously her supervisor did not tell her it was cancelled. She also refused to acknowledge the fact that the wall unit we chose was not the one she sent. Also saying the photo we took was not in her store despite her standing there when the picture was taken. Now i don't want to beat a dead horse but don't insult my intelligence. You could have acknowledged that the unit was being discontinued and no longer available. Then we could have decided whether to order another one. But rather than that you tried to bait and switch the order and try to make the customer feel we made a mistake. Sales lady you know you took us to a second unit which we wanted. And which is no longer on the floor. Can you live with that lie? How many other customers have you baited?
We purchased 2 sectionals for our home in Sept 2018. By Sept of 2019 both sofas were damaged. We paid for the additional insurance which we were also scammed into buying. This furniture was sold to us a built to last and that "worst case scenario" the insurance would cover damage. The sofa in our family room is worn out, the pillows both bottom and back no longer hold their shape and the chaise part of the sofa is ripping off from the frame itself. All this in 1 year's use. The sleeper sectional in our media room broke and the bottom cushions where coming apart at the seams. Mind you this sofa has 1/8 of the use our family room sectional gets. It took months to have that one repaired and I'm truly not even wanting to use it because it's clear that they just screwed it back into a "particle board" frame. How many uses could we get out of that sleeper before it breaks again? I have made several calls to find out what is going on with my family room sofa to no avail. At this point we have no choice but to take them to smalls claims court unless I hear back from a manager within 24 hours (not holding my breath) It has been 9 MONTHS since i filed this claim. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! very poor quality and their insurance is a joke!!!
The City Furniture has Terrible Service! They brought me defected chair. Almost a week is past, still no respond and no chair! The manager Jose totally unprofessional, always interrupting, don&'t listen and even hung up in the end. He told someone from customer service will call me on Tuesday today is Friday no one called. How these kind of people getting these jobs? He didnt resolve an issue and disappeared. It seems he doesn&'t know what is the service means. Don&'t waste your time!!!

Buyer Beware. This place is the worst It starts with what they call premier delivery which consists of 2 Clowns that showed up to my door who I am pretty sure never delivered Furniture before. After them trying to force to couch through my door and damaging the metal coated door frame they proceeded to bang the walls and light fixtures without any regard for my home. After continuing to try and force it again through the room it was going in instead of manipulating it Inhad to jump in and assist them while doing that one of them decided to leave so it was me and one delivery guy. He continued to unwrap the packing and put his dirty hands all over the fabric and left grease marks From his dirty hands. After unwrapping the were several other stains on the couch And I was told I need to call customer service and they will send someone to clean it. After making several attempts and spending 30 minutes at a time on hold They said they will send someone to address the stains and wobbly arm. The guy came cleaned it and made it worse. I made 2 calls and was on hold for 10 minutes so I decided to call back and my wait was 35 Minutes before I spoke to someone. I told them the problem and said I wanted to return the couch and they said No Way we will either give you a $100 gift card and keep the couch or take an exchange. Absolutely no refunds . I wanted a refund because I gave them a chance to fix the damage and they made it worse.they repeatedly nasty response from the customer service reps was unbelievable. I would like to post photos but I'm not sure how on this site. They are the worst Never Again Go to Macy's or crate and Barrel much better customer service.
I purchased a dining room set and a kitchen set from Ashley furniture. I decided to buy the warranty since I had spent so much money on them. I generally don't buy the warranties but wanted to be sure they were covered. I am a single parent and worked really hard to pay it off. On the dining set the legs broke and we hardly ever use that table. It is in a room that we don't use often. We simply were scooting the chair back and the legs broke in half. I called to get them replaced because you can't wood glue a chair that the wood broke in half. The kitchen set stools have metal legs and they have continuously been wiggly and the bottom of legs pieces worn out. I was told when I purchased the warranty that any damage at all would be covered. I spoke to customer service and they no longer carry my chairs so they couldn't replace them. They offered me several options and one was to reselect. I decided that would be best because I wanted my furniture to match. They agreed and put The notes in the system and told me to call my store. The next day I called the store and picked two new sets within in my price range. Due to covid not working full time and I didn't have extra to spend. It was slightly more so I paid the difference and received a thank you for my purchase from Ashley. Thought everything was fine and was looking forward to my new furniture and was singing the praises of how the company. The next day I get a call and said they could not honor and were going to fix the legs. How do you make a piece of wood that is broken in half like new. Impossible. No one would want that. This is unacceptable and I want what was agreed upon. So disappointed in City Furniture for not honoring their word!!!!!
I bought a bedroom set at city furniture, It came completely damaged and off balance. The furniture fell on me and injured me and city furniture refuses to replace the set for something else. They are a horrible company to deal with, I had to hire an attorney to deal with them.

I've recently bought many of my furnitures at City Furniture and on the moment I was buying, the sales representative offered the 3 years warranty - a paid service that would be covering assistance in case of stains or other issues along this period. He said it would be super easy to get this assistance as much as needed. He made it seems something really useful. Actually they gave me a kit of products for stain removal (which has never worked well, even for light stains).Now, one year later, I've requested assistance for the first time and the client care has created lots of difficulties and the speech is the opposite of the sales time.I'm extremely disappointed as I paid for that and the service is totally different than promised. Nothing is covered, there is no warranties, etc... I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU to buy this warranty coverage and the cleaning kit. I don't want you to feel as I'm feeling now. Be aware!
I order my dinning room set in the morning and it arrived the same evening around 5pm! The drivers were quick efficient, on time and polite. Made my birthday that much more special that everything went as planned
I needed in home warranty service on my power recliner. I paid almost $300 to get 3 year warranty on the power recliner. I had to call 5-6 times, waiting on hold for about 30-45 minutes each time, before I could finally speak to someone, just to schedule an appointment. Very, very poor after-sales service.
Hello Kari: We did receive credit to our credit card for the returned damaged console. That's a good start.... thank you. I feel like we were probably the first to have City Furniture (CF) pick up damaged furniture and get reimbursed for it. I can't imagine anyone else going through this hassle. We are still waiting for the $100 store credit for our damaged new coffee table. It just seems to never get here. When the TV stand was delivered, the two men setting it up were not even able to do this! What a joke! They couldn't even fasten down the glass top to the stand. They were using a power drill to tighten the screws and they left our house with the screw just sticking out. I couldn't even use my new TV stand. When I reported this to CF, they sent out a "fixer" a few days later. In minutes, he had my TV stand fixed AND without any power tools! I asked him if he could look at the coffee table from the first delivery that was not in balance. He fixed that, too. I said its too bad he wasn't in charge of deliveries. Thanks, Ramon! What a nice person! I'm sure he is kept busy working for CF. The reason I will not erase my Yelp Review like you asked me to do is because I still have some issues with City Furniture. These are over the home damage that was done to my 45-inch square travertine table by the CF delivery men rushing to move it. It was completely broken into pieces for no good reason. When I called to report the home damage on December 1, I was treated very rudely by the CF customer service agent. They said because I didn't call immediately that it didn't happen. The workers never reported this she said. (Like they would??). For you to say, Kari, in our phone conversation, that reporting home damage is in a "different department" took me by surprise. As instructed by CF's Customer Service Dept., I emailed the CF Home Damage Dept. on December 2 with a summary of the damage and supporting photos. This was following my 3 different calls to CF's Customer Service Dept. on December 1... really? I had to make 3 different calls? CF's Home Damage Dept. never responded to any of our messages since December 2. It is now over 5 weeks and still no response. Again, we like our furniture that we bought from CF, but we're sure we will be able to find better Customer Service from another company. This is not worth the hassle arguing for something that should have been handled without this drama. Apologies from the store owner, Bryce W. are meaningless because even he was not able to handle the problem. Unfortunately, writing a letter on Yelp was the only response that City Furniture would listen to, but even that has its limits.

This City Furniture location is huge, offering 2 large floors filled with furniture for every area of your home. It is a very clean store, with a hospitality area serving cookies and coffee. The staff offered assistance, but was kind when we opted to wander around unassisted. Our main goal was the Mattress Gallery upstairs, which offered a nice variety of high end mattresses, as well as some more budget friendly. Wandering around the rest of the store, I noticed they had tables of discounted home decor that was surprisingly reasonable in price. I found many pieces of furniture to add to my Wish List! The store overall is priced a little high where they offer you a packaged deal to save money. They do offer financing and I have never had any major issues when I have purchased from them in the past, and I would consider a purchase in the future.
