I am from Gainesville and began shopping for furniture in September 2024. This Ocala Ashley's location has a larger selection, no-pressure sale staff who are professional, attentive, and compassionate about customer service. Reece White was my salesman and showed me all the furniture selections I wanted to see and gave me his unsolicited feedback. This Ashley's selection is second to none and had everything I was curious about. Reece's low pressure and attentiveness allowed me to walk out without any pressure to return months later. I was frank and told him only to contact about sales. Reece did just that and kept in contact about upcoming sales, and when the best time to order, because of high shipping times. This past Saturday, November 16, 2024, I finally decided to make my final purchase decision. Reece gave me the time I needed to make a confident decision. Overall, he gave me a phenomenal deal that I, at first couldn't believe, and was irresistible. I strongly recommend this specific location for its dedication, attentive, and professional staff. The recent visit by my wife and myself with this Ashley store in Ocala was outstanding! We were extremely impressed with the selection of furniture that we were looking for. They had a great selection of outdoor patio furniture and our sales associate Ethan M was also outstanding! He was very positive, friendly, knowledgeable and most of all he was not high-pressure. We were able to find a perfect match for what we were looking for on our outdoor patio, and he was even able to improve on the already reasonable pricing with some outstanding discounts. We look forward to our delivery of this furniture next week, and would highly recommend this store and our sales associate Ethan M if you happen to be in the market for furniture.

Julia was wonderful. Smart, smart, respectful and very knowledgeable about the furniture. If she couldn't ask a question she explained that she'd only been there for 3 months and was just learning each different piece of furniture or actually it was with the bedding. She told me she would get somebody else and I said no that that was fine I was just asking a question. So I will also add that she was very honest and it came across in her presentations of the different furniture. We ended up buying two recliner chairs from her and possibly maybe back for other furniture we liked. We will always ask for Julia. She also gave me her cell phone number that I could contact her if there was any problems at all. I would keep that girl!

We founded what we need for our new home, Tina was wonderful ,she is a nice, and patient let us decided what we like and need.
The store is nice and well lit and it was inviting. We just stopped in to look and stumbled upon the perfect couch. Our sales agent Julia was attentive and knowledgeable. We had some difficulty finding my Ashley account and we're unsuccessful but didn't affect our purchase. Not our first or even second purchase from Ashley and will be back again.

Worst customer service ever. It took 5 deliveries of the same piece of furniture for our sectional to be correct. They’re all friendly and want to help you at this store but once you have problems with a piece of furniture that was delivered to you they want nothing to do with you. You have to deal with corporate and that’s a complete nightmare. Do yourself a favor and shop any other furniture store even if you have to pay more money!!!!

Worst experience ever. I bought outdoor furniture and paid for their premium delivery. The set came with no legs. It's been close to 3 weeks now and still no legs. The store manager, Travis, is totally useless. There is absolutely no communication between the technicians, promises broken, and still no legs. I'm beyond disappointed and wish they would take their crap back!

First time at Ocala Ashley. Friendly, helpful. However, upon delivery the diningroom set was wrong item and delivery driver refused to put it back on the truck. (He had only unloaded 1 chair so far). I called the store and Saphire admitted it was an error at their end and would be handled. I called the salesman (Stephen Steen) and he said the driver should not have done that. I was very disappointed by the delivery and the follow up for my order. I had delivery confirmation of bar stools , sofa and ottoman. Only the stools and ottoman shows up . Then it took two plus weeks to get sofa.I had called our store to see if I could change my barstools. I bought them over the phone but because I went through the stores system and not online Ashley would not return. I had to wait 5 days for an answer from corporate. The couch finally came not perfect as the staples were very evident on side and flaw on one cushion. I flipped over the cushion and didn’t want to deal with corporate BS again and kept the couch. Will never purchase from Ashley ever again!
I'm an Ashley customer and I like what Ashley has product wise. I wish I could say the same for the sales person that took my order. When I came into your Ocala store I was looking for a certain sofa that I saw online and the young man looked it up and told me that sofa was not in the store or in stock. I asked him what should I do because I really wanted that sofa he told me maybe I should go to another store. I was surprised that he didn't care if I got a sofa or not. I told the young man I have been an Ashley customer for years and was never told to go to another store. I told him to lose attitude and maybe we could work on finding me another sofa. He immediately changed his attitude towards me. I almost went to the manager about how I was treated. I excuse his behavior because I am bigger than that. That day I brought several pieces of furniture. I also let him know before I left to not to judge a book before you read it. I am a African American woman who is up in age and I was surprised with attitude these young people have. No customer service skills at all.
I can’t recall my salesman’s name now, but he was fantastic! He listened, was respectful and very helpful. The delivery folks were efficient.

I had a sofa delivered twice with a rip in it. I had to pay for someone to be at my house for the delivery. It took 3 times before I received my new sofa. I had to argue with them to get a new one. I have been waiting to hear about any compensation for my time and expenses. So far nothing. I am very unhappy with the experience.
This place is Joke, been calling for nearly 2 weeks , Customer service here have no Customer service at all. And whe you call is an automatic system.been having issues with a brand new sofa... No answers to my cpalls emails. .. I sugest people Dont buy from this place...

11/07/2024 *UPDATE** THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING FROM ASHLEY We cancelled this order via phone within 24 hours of purchase because we found something we liked better, somewhere else. We were told, via phone, that it would take up to 72 hours to reflect at our bank, but we could go into the store if we would like an immediate refund. Which I did, on the morning of the 28th. At the store, I was told that the store manager “will not allow immediate refunds and it could take up to 72 hours to reflect at your bank”. Today makes 8 days since we cancelled, still don’t have our refund, and we are getting the run around from Ashley customer service. This is not our sales persons fault. I am dropping the rating because of the lack of customer service on Ashley’s end and because I was asked about my overall experience with Ashley. It’s sad that a person can go above and beyond to make a sale, yet the support system of the company they work for could drop the ball. 10/27/2024 We had never been to Ashely before and had no idea what we were in for, once we entered the store. We were immediately greeted by Aileen, who let us know about specials in the store and told us if we had any questions, to feel free to ask. We liked the fact that Aileen wasn’t pushy, and let us look at our own pace, but was available when we did have questions. We feel Aileen went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. We found the prices at Ashley were very reasonable, which led us to purchase our new entertainment center.
My wife Debby and I spent a lot of time in this store and comparing it to others in the Ocala area. Prices seemed very reasonable compared to some and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Kudus to our salesman, Raymond Thorne for his hands-off approach, knowledge of what mattered and professionalism in writing up our sale.

Ultimately I chose what I had came in for and declined the upgrades, although they were very tempting. Had I not been suffering from Bindenomic, I probably would have purchased the other options.

Update: After working with the BBB, an associate from the store, and associates from Ashley’s corporate office, they allowed an exchange on the recliner. Thank you for working with me! I would like to start by saying that my sales person Aileen was amazing. I received my furniture in multiple shipments over a few weeks, and after everything arrived, it became clear that the $1300 electric recliner wouldn’t fit in the living room. I called and was told that all sales bought in-store are final, but had I purchased the items online, I could have returned them. I explained that I didn’t want to return the item, but exchange it for something that would fit. I was given a giant “Nope” by both the store and the corporate office. So basically I just dropped $5000, and was about to spent a few grand more, just to be told they can’t help me with an exchange. That’s pretty terrible customer service. I beg any of you reading this NOT TO PURCHASE IN-STORE…only online if you have to purchase from Ashley at all. But hey, now I have a giant recliner with a warranty for sale at a heavy discount if anyone is interested. There are several other furniture options available to purchase from where my business might be appreciated, but clearly it’s not Ashley Furniture. Remember…buy online…NOT in-store.
I bought replacement bed rails from this store. Was told by salesman that with premium delivery it would be set up. Any problems call him directly. Delivery was two hours early, I was informed they “don’t set up these”. I filed a claim for delivery refund. I was told that the store manager would call me to assist-crickets. Sales person that originally sold me rails, called him, crickets…still no refund. Make sure if you get furniture delivered, you get what you paid for—almost two weeks later-still no return call, just a vm asking me to complete a google review Update:: 10/15-ashley furniture customer service is still hassling me about refunding the full delivery fee and only wants to give me $50. Nearly 20 emails later-still haven’t talked to a live human being. Pick up the furniture yourself. You will spend an eternity trying to obtain a refund on a guarantee they promoted. Please do your homework on this store, their warranty guarantees and the ongoing consumer affairs and fraud reports they have online.

When i called the number to set up a delivery date and time, i was told that they did not have my specific items ordered in stock and that it may be a while sometime in November. I was initially told simply call that number and arrange the delivery time but now you see what I get
My husband and I came in to look at dining sets. We were immediately greeted by Aileen. She informed us of the current promotion going on in the store and allowed us to look around as we were just browsing. Aileen came back to check on us to see if we had any questions. We were glad she did because we were about to go back and find her for some questions on 2 different sets we had our eyes on. She quickly answered all our questions, which helped us make an informed decision on which set to purchase. She was also able to give us information we needed on our sofa set warranty that we purchased over 2 yrs ago. She made this experience extremely stress free, quick, and easy. We visited the store during the Fall savings event. Mr. Stephen Steen greeted us and made our shopping experience enjoyable. We were searching for lamps. Mr. Steen was patient and allowed us to browse until we found the ideal lamps. I must say, it was one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I have ever had.
Bought furniture, got confirmation of delivery night before, removed old furniture in preparation of delivery, delivery day arrives majority of my items DID NOT ARRIVE. No call or explanation from Ashley. I have been calling the store, can’t get through, can’t get a call back. Corporate customer service can’t help me, said I have to contact the store. The corporate office can’t even get the store to answer. First and last time shopping here. There’s a reason I go to BLOCKERS.

I didnt expect the CEO to contact me(and that certainly didnt happen), but why would anyone email me saying they are responding to my review, & then ask for pictures? Then when I didnt respond right away (too angry), they email again but the message is written as if I'd written it?? ... "I am following up on my previous message regarding issues with my "recent" order and the service I received"...."I appreciate your acknowledgement of these concerns".... sarcasm?? I'm attaching a snap of it. Its 2024 Ashley, surely you can do better. It's hard to rate "Ashley" as store says the are "storefront" and not connected to online orders.... instore folks are super nice! But they cant help with an online order..... why? I placed an online order 8.7 - some items shipped & some were for delivery. But you look online and all items show the same "tracking #"?? And when you call, you have to fight the WORST AI system to get a person! Then the person you do get cant understand English and then tells me I "need to be patient". 8+ calls in, text convos that went nowhere, cs reps who promise to pickup a 100+ cabinet & then delivery guy says "no" and box springs that were "never backordered" (or cancelled when told 3x). This is 2024 and there is simply NO REASON for a company to do business in this fashion. And to add insult, the delivered furniture is damaged & improperly put together. But even when reported - NOTHING. $2500 of subpar furniture (drawers dont close, ball bearings falling out, cracked doors that dont close) and very below par customer service. The nicest folks in the store cant gloss over cost-cutting measures in the critical aspects of business - mainly quality products & customer service.
I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Scott, Saphire and especially Jesus for such a great experience buying furniture for our new place. Even when things got a little hectic, they know lmao, Saphire was a great help getting this rectified for us. I recommend this store because not only did they get us what we wanted, but everyone was personable and eager to help.
I had a delightful experience purchasing a sofa with an attached chaise. The sales representative, Aileen, was incredibly helpful. She warmly greeted us upon entering the store and promptly directed us to the location of the sofa we were interested in. As soon as we made a decision on the sofa we intended to purchase, Aileen promptly approached us and addressed all of our inquiries. She thoughtfully suggested that we purchase the insurance for the sofa in case of any future issues, which was reasonably priced yet provided extensive coverage. We happily agreed to this for our own peace of mind. Aileen efficiently processed the sale, scheduled the delivery, and finalized our transaction in a timely manner. What truly stood out was the absence of any pressure to purchase additional items beyond what we had initially come for. The delivery was carried out as per the scheduled date and time, with adequate prior notification. I was pleasantly surprised to discover such a diverse range of high-quality furniture and accessories within the store. In the future, I intend to fulfill any of my furniture needs at Ashley.

She was very professional and patient as we looked around the store deciding what we wanted to buy for our new home. We settled on a beautiful fireplace with bluetooth capability and a gorgeous black panther. Since that encounter we knew when we returned she would be our salesperson. We returned August to purchase a new bed and Aileen was again professional, engaging and a pleasure to work with. I utlized Acima as I did the first time and this time as well and got to meet Solimar Thondike face to face! Solimar and I had spoke on the phone and she did a great job explaining everything to me and mentioned the great deal Acima was offering in great detail. Aileen and Solimar are an asset to Ashley and words cannot express fully our appreciation for not only stellar customer service, but a genuine care and concern. They both excel at the "getting to know you" factor and that is a HUGE plus for hubby and I. Thank you ladies for being so great at what you do! Excited for the next purchase! See you ladies soon! Our sales person was amazing he helped us with our purchase and was very kind thank you AARON However we went to pick up today AARON said they would help us shrink wrap they don't: she just stood there while I was trying to move couch and love seat around with a fricken cast on my arm Then instead of getting someone to help load had my husband help I told him no she continued we shouldn't be loading he threw his back out then she called for help and kinda looked disgusted and told the guy he threw his back out. NO APOLOGY for him getting hurt
I spent nearly 10,000 dollars on furniture from Ashley in Ocala, Fl. They left a bolt set to put together the bed in there warehouse. Ashley furniture refused to drive the bolts to my home and assemble the bed. I had given away the other beds I had that morning due to the new ones arriving. I was then told if I did not allow them to bring them next Tuesday, they would take the furniture and not return it. I am unable to call the store due to they will never answer the phone. No phone numbers are put on their business cards. I recommend trying a totally different furniture supplier altogether. They are not even proud enough to answer the phone. I slept on the floor last night. Bad Bad Bad Instead of telling me to reach out to you. A truly concerned business would have already called me. You do not care about the issue or you would have called the store, got my number, and called me. Bad business practice. Bad service. No follow up. Lost a great customer. I just got off the phone with the store Manager in Ocala and he stated in his words "I dont care". He did not care how I was treated. 8-19-2024 3pm Eastern

While the main staff and customer service as very hospitable, the GM and the policies of the store are utterly useless. I purchased two mattress sheets for a total of $59.99 from the clearance section as they were labeled 100% cotton. I go home and open them and saw the manufacturer label stating 100% polyester. I take it back to the store and the GM happens to pass by, doesn't even have the balls to look me in the eye and tells the customer service lady instead that they can't take it back or even touch it and there's nothing they will do, then scurried away. I ask the customer service lady to call him back and he simply reiterates the same nonsense over the radio and refuses to show up. They gave me a corporate number and told us to talk to them instead for a refund. I bluntly asked them whether their store policy condones false advertising and all I got in response was a nervous shrug.

7-3-24 bought 6 pieces of furniture, 7-11 delivered, 7-11 called store no answer, 7-12 no answer, so went in person spoke with Jerry C reported issue in less than 24hrs, he said receptionist emailed customer svc.. 7-19-24 Technician came home confirmed manufacturing defect and piece is way oversized causing physical safety hazard risk of tripping so submitted request to exchange for smaller piece which is more expensive but we will pay extra money. Then received email store will only replace for same piece, called customer service was told the owner of store is the one that doesn't want to make change. The store policy states 72hrs to report issue, we did in less than 24hrs, and that they would repair, replace, or picked up, defective item maybe returned but this store chooses not to abide to their policy. After 7 emails,6 phone calls, personal contact and as of today they still ignore us. The purchase process in our case cash,was smooth but when it comes to after the delivery service is terrible, We have previously bought from Kanes,City furniture, Babcock furniture and this is the first time a furniture company has provided poor service. Now in September the issue was resolved after the intervention of the State of Florida Consumer Department.

Jesus was fabulous to work with. He was very knowledgeable and very patient with me, even when I was indecisive. It was helpful that I came prepared with item numbers from the Ashley website so he could show me exactly what I was looking for. I would give Ashley's 5 stars, but my biggest issue with them has always been the limited number of items available within my price range. I either had to take the item I had chosen online or go with something more expensive. Because I had a lot of furniture I needed to buy, I was limited to a certain budget. The selection of items was minimal but luckily, I was okay with what I picked out online. I just wish they at least had a few more selections to choose from in my price range when I was trying to furnish 3 to 4 rooms.

The store itself isn't the problem it's the quality of there products i purchase a couch about three weeks ago and it's already making noises and not wanting to close haven't even made a payment and it's falling apart. no padding on the foot rest or the console and hurts the leg and for the price of everything you would think it would be better Update So they had a guy come out and look at the couch and said they would need to replace parts on a poorly build furniture and they have a no return policy so I guess I'm stuck with this broken piece of furniture they sold me and all they want to do fix one of the problems and call it good definitely will never buy anything from them every again and I'll make sure that none of my family and friends will either and would advise anyone to not buy anything online without being able to look at and test the product first

I was extremely please with my experience at Ashley Furniture. When I entered the store I was greeted by a young lady, Hannah. I told her what I was looking for and she brought me right over to the sectional of the picture I had shown her, but I was not sure on the color of the couch when I saw it. Hannah then directed me to some other couches that were more of the color I wanted. She let me know that I could get this other couch in the same configuration as the one I originally liked. Hannah was very informative and helpful in my choosing of the sectional. I would recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone, great service and good quality. Thank you Hannah for all your help!

We had a problem with one of the furniture pieces being incorrect... fortunately I spoke with Sapphire at the Ocala store, angrily I might add, and she managed to handle the situation immediately and professionally. The correct piece was brought to us the following morning and Sapphire followed the entire process and called again after the delivery to make sure all was well. I ,John DiVito , had a medical issue. I needed a different chair. I explained my issue to Sapphire, Ashley Ocala store manager. She immediately explained my issue to upper management and got the necessary clearance to exchange the chair. I and my wife went to the store. Big selection of furniture, of course, in all styles. We have a whole house to fill and spent 2 hours wandering, looking and enjoying. Sales Associate Hannah, while not at all pushy, was always ready to answer questions and offer suggestions. We'll definitely be purchasing more from Ashley, and Hannah.

We spent almost $5k on a mattress, frame, and a $200 Purple pillow as I have serious back pain. The service was great until we paid. Now it’s like a used car store. No after service. I called to see if I could return the $200 pillow I bought ( it totally didn’t work for me, way too flat). I was never told that these pillows come in small, medium, and tall loft. They sold me a medium without asking me if that’s what I preferred. NEVER told me that I couldn’t return the pillow if it didn’t work. Buyer beware. I now have a $200 pillow that I can’t use. Aaron did nothing to help us out.
The very worst experience I have ever had. They delivered defective furnature and the process to get it replaces was brutal. I took 4 months and a string of calls and emails to get it done. I'll never set foot in an ashley store again. It was exhaustig. The customer service is a joke. I told them I just wanted them to pick the stuff up and give me a refund and they told me there are No Returns or Refunds, not even on damaged furniture. Just blew my mind. I ended up filing a dispute withh my credit crad compamy and in the end Ashley told me they had refunded the money but I never saw the credit. I got tired of the hassle and said screw it.

I recently ordered a twin sleeper sofa from Ashley Furniture and unfortunately, the delivery process was a complete disaster. Firstly, the gentleman who delivered the furniture spoke no English, unable to communicate with me. They understand English when I asked them to leave my home. When they started to bring the sofa into our guest room they were struggling to get it through the door. They kept pushing as hard as they could. I asked them to please stop, we had just paid 7k to have our house painted 2 days before and they were going to scratch the door and walls. One of them smiled and out his finger up as if to say, one minute and gave it a final push. The sofa made it through as it demanded our door and walls. At this point I wouldn’t let them finish. I was so afraid when the flipped the sofa they were going to scratch our floor. I asked them to leave, they kept going as if I didn’t even speak. I tapped one of them in the shoulder, pointed to the door and said get out. (They managed to understand that) To make matters worse, the customer service representatives I contacted were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my concerns. My only request was a refund in my delivery fee. The “manager” wanted pictures of the damage, I sent those right away. Then the manager wanted me to get an estimate to fix the walls. I emailed two times asking if they really needed that to refund my delivery fee, if so I was going to also request my salary. Zero response. I emailed back asking for the status of getting a refund on my deliver fee, silence. It's incredibly frustrating to spend hard-earned money on a product only to receive such poor quality and service in return. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing from this store again and would advise others to proceed with caution. Responding to the stores response. If you read my review in full you would see I already reached out, more than once, I am still trying to get my money back.

Our Salesman, Aaron Arriaga, at Ashley Furniture in Ocala, FL was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us in searching for a new comfortable mattress to meet both my wife’s and my personal needs. He walked us through all of their lines, sometimes going back and forth repeatedly, and after over at least an hour, we decided on a Tempurpedic with the 2-way adjustable base. Not only is Ashley to be commended for their fine quality lines, they deserve more credit for their hiring and training of superior quality sales personnel. Aaron is truly an asset to Ashley Furniture and I will personally recommend him to all of our family and friends!!!

We needed a certain chair for severe medical reasons. They took our money for a chair that was in stock, and we agreed to come the next day for pickup. When the time came they immediately gave us a run around with conflicting stories (lies) on why they could not pickup the item that is already at their warehouse. We are still waiting to see if we get our money back. This was a really sketchy interaction. The chair is there and we paid for it but they will not let us pick it up or get our money back. This is especially disgusting service when they are aware that this chair was bought to help stabilize a family who had just broken their neck.

This is not a reflection of the store but of this company as a whole.. STAY AWAY! This company refuses to honor replacements with in 72 hours of reporting manufacturing defects. It took me 4 calls, high blood pressure, 3 refusals to finally speak to “the de-escilation department” to get my brand new leather couches replaced. They sent out a tech first to “repair them” but I refused because these couches are brand new items and should not have come this way in the first place; argued back and fourth explained I’m pregnant and my child has asthma and someone called me back leaving me a message saying they won’t be replacing anything regardless of health issues; called again argued more… a “request” was submitted as many as 3 times which I received no follow ups on them from Ashley furniture. 6 weeks later; Finally today I got angry enough and spoke to the escalation department and they FINALLY agreed to replace the items that were delivered damaged! It clearly states in their rules on damaged items that they clearly refuse to stand behind…. “All damaged products must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. For In-Home Delivery Items, please take a moment at the time of delivery to thoroughly inspect all items. You may refuse to accept any broken or damaged items by making a notation on the delivery receipt.” “We accept the return of Standard Shipping item(s) within 30 days of delivery so shouldn’t have requested a return instead?” “If you are unsatisfied for any reason with your purchase, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery. Returned items must be new and in unused condition.” I couldn’t look at the furniture because the guys drop it so fast and shove the signature pad in my face as they are on a schedule and informed me that they did not take back furniture; so I signed then after they left looked them over then called (all in same day; within moments of delivery). Never sign until you review all of your furniture or you’ll end up with the same issues I had!! I will never again buy from this company; and I suggest other people to go else where.
We sat on at least 12 different loveseats. We narrowed our selection to 2 in Ashley. We chose the one that was comfy cozy and matched the gray color we needed. Delivery people were great but the loveseat that was delivered was not ANYWAY close to the comfort that the showroom had. In fact, it is so rock hard and uncomfortable that both our backs are suffering. We bought the extended warranty. Ashely could not care less. We tried everything to explain that we can hardly sit in this loveseat but unless the loveseat doesn't function properly, they won't exchange. We even offered to buy a different loveseat at a larger price but they would not let us exchange. So, we are stuck with a rock hard loveseat and 2000+dollars in wasted money. UNRELIABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Addendum: I responded to Ashley's reach out to me in hopes of maybe getting to exchange the rock hard loveseat for a different item. We were told again that they absolutely do NOT exchange or return if the item you bought turns out to not be what you expected or hoped. Please note that if you buy something from Ashely ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

Had a great experience purchasing a sectional at the Ocala Ashley store. We visited multiple times to compare our favorite to sectionals at other furniture stores. I particularly appreciated the non pushy salespeople who allowed us to browse the store on our own (unlike a couple other stores where we felt stalked). Hannah Paul, our saleswoman, provided great information about the sectional we chose and processed the sale in a timely fashion. Our new sectional arrives tomorrow!

Our experience has been amazing! Hannah Paul outdid herself with all her assistance in choosing our furniture for our new home. We told her what we were looking for and she just knew exactly what to show us. Had to contact the Warranty Dept (through the local store) due to a charging chord burning when plugged in to the port in the arm of the power recliner. I am giving this review a 3 because the Tech and April from the Ocala store…. No other reason. Any other communication with them was horrendous!!! I was given the run around, told one thing then received emails contrary to the discussions. April communicated the problem to the appropriate people and within hours I received a call from corporate offices issuing us a store credit. I must say why it is a ‘one time courtesy’ and a 30 day replacement credit is beyond my comprehension. The implied intent of a charging port is to charge devices, right? That’s exactly what I did!!!
Experience that went down the toilet. Ordered a living room set but made a change to my original order the following morning before the delivery date. Paid $150 extra for a lousy "protection plan" that I'm told now by the Reguard company that my plan will only cover 2 of the 3 pieces of furniture I purchased because of the order change. I haven't read positive things about Reguard and I regret paying a protection fee that probably won't even be honored if I need to use it. I previously submitted a 5 start review but now changing it after the experience I had with the other works at this location and I wish there was a 0 star. Hannah is still very amazing and has been trying her best to help this situation for us. We ordered a couch and 2 picture frames the beginning of March was told we could have it delivered on 3/28, we asked them to push it to 3/29 as we would have someone home that day to accept the furniture. The night prior to 3/29 we got rid of our couch as Ashley Furniture stated that we need to have to area cleared so the install could go smoothly which we did. The next day comes and we get and update that the furniture should arrive between 3-4 PM, the delivery guy shows up with 2 picture frames and says our couch is on back order. Mind you this is the FIRST that we are hearing our couch is on back order and that we would not be receiving it on the day of delivery. I call the store to find out what’s going on as again we hadn’t heard from ANYONE, to our knowledge everything was going to be delivered that day, so the store says the couch was delivered to the warehouse today and the soonest we can get it to you is on 4/3. My spouse calls and they tell him sorry it’s on back order and we don’t know when we will have a date for you, so they provided us 2 different answers and we didn’t know which was true. I asked to speak to a manager and he was to busy for and said he would call back. Never called so my spouse called and spoke to a sales manager by the name of Travis and said there was nothing he can do. We then texted Hannah and even though she was not at work she still made the time for us to answer our questions and apologize. They stated they don’t deliver on Mondays so we asked for Tuesday and they said sorry the soonest we have is Wednesday. The least they could do is fit us on the schedule for Tuesday as we have NO COUCH. I get things happen and we would’ve been okay as long as it was communicated either the day prior or the morning of as the supposedly to inventory “48 hours prior” but now it is Easter weekend and we have no couch for our friends and family to sit on and or for us to sit on. We have to use lawn chairs in our living room, again just a little communication would of avoided all of this and or doing something for us to make this situation better. Ashely Furniture and their staff (besides Hannah) made us feel that is was our fault and like it was not a big deal. Very inconvenient and I don’t think I’ll ever shop here again and if I do I’ll make sure to not be prepared and give away our furniture until after we receive our items and they will just have to deal with the room they have when delivering as that is how we are being treated with this situation.
Shopping at the Ashley Store has been nothing short of a very enjoyable experience.The sales person,Aaron white very knowledgeable and a gentleman ,that has the interest of the customer.Another very knowledgable individual with an all out personality is Sa'Phire.She makes the customer feel comfortable with any questions that they may have and is their to solve them putting the customer first.If you are looking for home furniture, rugs,lamps,etc.this is the place to shop.

Experience with our sales person at the store was good. Bought a couch on a Sunday, told it would be delivered by Thursday of that week. Wednesday midday I get a call saying there was a manufacturing error and couch wouldn't be delivered for another week. I think that is very inconvenient to call us the day before delivery is happening to tell us. We had the old couch picked up on Tuesday to make sure everything would be ready for new couch so now our living room is empty for another week because we were not notified sooner that the new couch would be delivered later than promised. Then, I got an email saying there will be no more changes on our end as far as when it would be delivered. Not that we are going to change it, but I like that we pay thousands of dollars and are told the day before there is a change in delivery but if WE needed to change something at the last minute to accommodate our families needs it wouldn't happen.
Reese went ABOVE and beyond to help us fix a huge mistake that Rooms to go messed up with us. He was knowledgeable and patient. He was willing to go the extra mile to even help us take a leaf out of the table to see what it looked like without it! He was able to get our transaction done quick and get us delivery for this weekend as we were hoping! Worth the extra money for no stress!

Shopping for a new bedroom set for our son was quick and easy. Hannah, our salesperson did a great job getting information about the set and processed the transaction in a timely manner. Great experience!
This was not a very good experience. 1st person that met us at the front of the store said he was not a salesperson. He said he would find one for us. Yet, he kept helping us while we looked for a couple of chairs we may want to purchase. Then he disappeared, and no other person tried to help us. So we left. We went to another furniture store and found nothing we wanted. So we ate lunch and returned to Ashley. We were met at the front if the store and were helped in selecting two chairs. The salesman told us he was new. We picked two chairs. Our total bill would be more than $1,000 dollars. As we looked at the contract, we noticed that my name was wrong as well as our address. We had them correct at errors and paid. Delivery was great and sooner than expected. That is the only reason Ashley gets 2 stars instead of one.

Pleasant experience shopping today. We were assisted by both Michael and Orlando. Both sales reps were very helpful. Michael showed us where the sofa sleepers were and how they worked. He made sure we opened and closed them to see how easy it was. He then gave us space to wonder around and look. He made himself available when we needed him. Orlando assisted with the final paperwork and purchase. He was able to pick up right where Michael left off.
I want to give a huge shout out to my salesman Aaron Arriaga in the Ocala store. He helped me find the perfect living room set and told me to give him a call if there were any problems at delivery. Well, seems I hadn't measured correctly and the sectional piece would not fit. I called Aaron and he immediately got on the phone and troubleshot everything for me. I had to go back to the store and Aaron patiently worked with me to find a suitable replacement. Thank you Aaron and team Ocala for going the extra mile and having great customer service!!

I purchased a sofa from Ashley back in November. I had it delivered and there was one issue which they took care of then we had noticed all the cushions on the sofa were different sizes. Please keep in mind I purchased the extra warranty. I called the store and they sent out a tech who responded by saying oh just keep turning the cushions. That certainly was not the correct response. I called the store numerous times speaking to several different people and just kept getting no where. I then received an email saying my case was closed. Of course at this time I was furious. I even called the store to speak with the Mgr who of course wouldn't get on the phone and suggested I call corporate except you can't reach corporate. You get a third world country who can't help unless you ordered on line. I finally reached one of the stores cs reps who's name is April. Finally I reached someone who was willing to listen and help. After numerous calls over weeks time and forwarding several pics of the defective cushions April took matters into her own hands and sent an email to the escalation depth and explained the situation. I then received a call from that department who said I should have never been told they wouldn't do anything about the defective cushions. I am now waiting on an email letting me know when the new ones will ship. The reason I am writing this review is to commend April on a job well done. Had it not been for April I would have contacted the BBB which I am sure Ashley corporate would not have appreciated. Once again Thank you April. Ashley furniture is very lucky to have you at a time when it is extremely hard to find good help. I hope Corporate is able to see this review!

The store and the sales agent were excellent, however thier inventory system is horrible my largest and most expensive item (sofa)was not in delivery confirmation despite it being in stock , no one from the store to the warehouse to customer care can figure it out ,so basically I jabe to hope its on the delivery truck ,that is unacceptable and will not be forgotten when I need to but furniture again

Spent 6.5k between mattress and bed set and the assembly people did not assemble my bed correctly so I’ve been sleeping with back pain and a sinking mattress for over a month. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone at all!!! Beware.
DO NOT SHOP AT THE OCALA STORE! Will not deliver all your items. Will cancel some of your items. You will never know until they come and do not deliver them. Then it will be hell for you to get a refund. Will keep passing you off to Corporate when the store is who you paid.

Don't purchase the protect all insurance they offer for furniture. It's expensive and they literally won't cover any tears like they claim they do. Trust me from experience. I bought a $3000 sectional from Ashley's back in 2022 and it was nothing but problems! Don't waste your time or money. There techs don't fix your issues and there extra warranties you pay for are pointless. *update: after 6 months of going back and forth with protectall they finally gave me a credit for my couch that was never fixed. However, when the couch I chose got delivered from Ashley it had a big scratch on the leather seat. They sent someone out to repair it and the repair was not professional. So now I'm waiting on a new seat to come in and someone to install it. Hopefully they will follow up with me and get this fixed soon!

Bought a desk from them and paid $100 to have it delivered and assembled. First time they came the hardware to assemble it was missing. The second time they came out they came without the hardware again. The woman who we called to help talked over me and was extremely rude. I'll take my business elsewhere if that's what I can expect from them.

I have never had such poor service from the delivery center. They suck! We get notified that they are 15 minutes away and an hour later I called and was told that they had 8 more deliveries. We’ve been waiting all day! Stay clear if you are wise!
I was not aware that the mattresses in the test area provide an inaccurate feel for the actual mattress received as they are "broken in". The mattress I received was far firmer than the one tried. At no point is the customer warned of this; no signs in the mattress area, nothing said by the salesperson, nor was there a written warning at the time of purchase. Thus, the test process provides a fraudulent experience for the customer with no warning. Ashley the only store I am aware of that does not provide a mattress "grace period". Stores typically give a 30 day grace, and one store I spoke to had a 120 day (with the mattress protector purchase). This is important as the test mattresses are not accurate. I had to fight extremely hard to have the initial mattress returned and a different model bought. This should never have occurred and the stress was tremendous. This saddens me as I have been an Ashley customer for years. No more. I will not return until corporate changes their mattress policy as it is extremely unfair and fraudulent to the customer.

Though I haven’t received my product yet I have to say just the ordering process was simple, good advice and direction was given. The sales person was cheerful and pleasant to work with.
Buyer beware. Ashley Homestore has a NO RETURN policy unless damaged or defective. Happy with our purchases (quality, selection and price), and happy with our sales person. Except 1 item. 1 of the 3 end tables simply won’t fit the space. It’s too wide. Called the store to ask about exchanging for something narrower, and was told the “no return “ policy is in the T’s and C’s I signed. Not our first purchase with Ashley. Spent $5500 in this sale alone and spent a ton of time talking with the salesperson and the manager and going over the details and responsibilities of delivery. Never once did either one mention No Returns. Yes I should know what I’m signing. That’s on me. Just very disappointed a No Return policy doesn’t even warrant an honorable mention.

I was in and out several times over a week long hunt on living room furniture. Ethan, my salesman wasn’t pushy and listened. The others were good too. They were all patient with me while I was making my decision. Great customer service and a beautiful showroom! The only downfall is I wanted pillows but couldn’t purchase them there and leave with them. They had to be ordered!

We walked into Ashley Furniture this evening intending to purchase a new living room set before we left. We are lifetime customers of Badcock Furniture but found a set that we liked at Ashley Furniture that had a better price point than Badcock. We did our research and decided to give Ashley a try. We were greeted (Not sure if I would even call it that because he never actually introduced himself or gave us his name) at the door by a salesman. We told him the name of the set that we wanted to see (Navi). As he walked us to the back of the store, a different set (Maimz) caught our eye. We finished looking at the Navi then asked to see the Maimz. At this point, we fully intended to make a purchase before leaving but were unsure of which of the two we wanted. We wanted to see the Navi one more time so that we could make our decision between the two. As we were looking at it, my husband made the remark that he wasn’t sure that he was ready to “pull the trigger” on that particular couch. The salesman asked us what other furniture stores we’d considered, and my husband told him none, as Ashley Furniture had the most reasonable prices. He cut my husband off and said, “Then why wouldn’t you pull the trigger today?” My husband explained that we wanted to purchase a living room set, but we were no longer sure that we wanted the one that we’d originally intended to purchase. He asked to show us another model that fit the exact description of what I told him I did NOT want. We were obviously unimpressed and started to walk to the front of the store to see the Maimz, as we had pretty much decided on that set at this point. As we were walking to the front of the store, the salesman turned and went to the right. He didn’t say goodbye or that he’d be with us again in a few minutes, just walked away from us and down a hallway. We looked at the Maimz again and decided that we’d just go home and order online since we were apparently no longer going to receive help from an employee. As we walked to our vehicle, I looked over and noticed our salesman in front of the store, leaning against the building on his phone and eating a snack. I gave the store a two star rating, but only because we did like the furniture that we saw this evening, and we also liked that Ashley seemed to be a more affordable option than other furniture stores. However, we’ve ultimately decided to purchase a living room set with Badcock Furniture, as I would rather pay more at a business that I know will treat us with respect.
I have been there twice this week, and bought over $13,000. Aaron helped us. Aaron is so very professional and very kind. Helped us ENOURMESLY with our purchase. Trent the sales person was knowledgeable and professional. In order to qualify for a 10% discount we were required to apply for a credit account the process of which was frustrating and definitely not user friendly….so much so that we opted to pass on the discount

I was searching for a sofa w/specific features for medical needs. Joanie Snaith listened intently. Showed me 2 that fit my needs. I found it within 10 mins. of entering store. She's an exceptional employee, no hard selling. Our sofa delivered today, but not our end table. It was damaged when recd @ warehouse. I was assured it would be delivered Tue, 4 days . I was then notified by email there was an error. I'm now waiting for delivery an entire week from promised. This is disappointing.

The employees were really nice until they saw I was only buying 2 clearance rugs. After that they were extremely annoyed with me and my party, it was disappointing. I just bought a home and wanted to look around before going back tomorrow after we got measurements but now I don’t know if I will be returning.
The sales person was knowledgeable. However a change of 99dollars for setup was ridiculous. One stationary chair needs nothing but someone to carry into the dwell. I asked why the charge and the response was that is just what they charge...even if no service is required... Rip off!!!

Sales were nice. Sort of. We were all cash buyers, over 5k spent, and everyone seemed so put out about it. The girls sitting at the desk where you pay seemed very put out and seemingly so bothered by having to work. They were talking back and forth about being lucky something was not put away. Other workers just sitting around looking grumpy. Took them awhile to actually take our money and with the attitude we were a second away from taking our money and leaving. It was later in the evening, I was tired and just needed furniture so I talked my husband out of going somewhere else. Will not go back.
Derek was most helpful with our order sofa recliner and bedroom set were delivered on November 3rd had problems with the dresser and mirror went back November 4th to let the store know Derek and Saphire were most helpful with our problem we took pictures as requested by Ms. Chambers gave her the pictures then I get an email requesting pictures went back to the store to tell them about it she brought it up showing they forwarded the picture's to disregard. Got call saying they'd send a technician out on November 16th between 12-3 he arrived and the only thing he did was take pictures and left not really satisfied with this how long must we wait for this to be rectified the backing on the dresser is warped and the corners on the mirror have a gap on all 4 corners

Ethan was patient and we left the store with a pending order to look at a comparative product. We called the store and it was difficult with admin desk. Returned to the store and completed order with a maybe on extended warranty. Returned home and called store, talked to Sapphire who said she would remove warranty charge and call me back. She didn't call. Called back Tuesday and spoke with April who explained the process and emailed confirmation. Chair arrived today by two outstanding delivery gentlemen. The color is not the same Sand that was pointed out to us. We are satisfied but will hold final judgment until credit hits my account. Ethan and the delivery was the highlight of our experience

Super easy store to navigate with a great selection. Ethan was super kind and helpful. I was able to pick the items I was interested in and have them emailed so I could check measurements and have the prices in hand. This became super helpful as I am moving and needed to check measurements/placement prior to placing my order. I went back today and Ethan was able to pull up, adjust, and place my order. Yay!

I did have to get a uhaul to pick up my items because they were on clearance but overall it was a good experience.

I have bought furniture from 4 different retailers in the past year as well as 2 times from Ashley. Both times was a nightmare. From the horrible sales experience to the terrible customer service in store and over the phone to the I don't care attitude of the in store managers. I thought I would give them a second try after my first nightmare and it came back to bite me in the butt. It would take me a week to explain in detail so all I will say is never again!

While they offer quality furniture, the delivery service they use is horrible. They end up breaking the dresser legs and had to reorder 3 times before the Ashley team got it right. Make sure you ask for the Ashley team to deliver.

Bought a sleeper sofa and it is made so bad. Loved the couch when saw it in store. The one I looked at wasn't a sleeper sofa.Still love the couch but it isn't made well.called Ashley furniture sent a tech out and he can't fix it. The mattress is so cheap and can't sleep on it. He has ordered cushion that are suppose to be better. Will never buy anything from them again. I had a sleeper sofa in 70s that is so much better than this one. My mom bought a couch from big lots and it sleeps great and has a beautiful mattress.

My mother, Brenda, went into the store to purchase a twin size mattress. The sales person showed her one that she liked and she bought it. The mattress that was delivered was not the same mattress that she picked out. She immediately called the store to report the mistake but they refused to take the mattress back because it had already been delivered even though it had not been used. My mother was not made aware of any type of "return policy". The associates in the store treated her rudely and refused to help her in anyway claiming that the mattress could not be returned. She asked for the phone number to the corporate office and was given the incorrect phone number on several separate occasions. We suggest that you go Mattress Firm for good service and quality products. Will will not be returning to Ashley for any reason!!

Went to Ashley in Ocala after a friend recommended we go there after they purchased a sofa that was an advertised Hot Buy. We liked their sofa and we were in need of one so we went. Thru the door we were greeted by Renee Jacobs, we told her what we were looking for and she was happy to show us around, the sofa we were interested in unfortunately was not in the store as it was out of stock in both colors. Luckily for us we had the opportunity to see and sit in our friends sofa that was delivered just a few days ago. We not only ordered the sofa with the hot buy price but also ordered the matching recliner not on hot buy. Unfortunately the furniture won't be available until the beginning of November but we were willing to wait as were in no hurry We paid now we wait. Renee was great, very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Ashley in Ocala and Renee for your home furnishings. Thank you.
I purchased a sofa via Ashley online that I saw at the Ocala store. It was the WORST WORST WORST experience I've ever had buying furniture. All the email communications from Ashley confirmed Tue 29 Aug 9am-1pm. So at ~11:15am on Tue 29 Aug I called the customer service number to see if they could provide a tighter estimate from the delivery team. The automated voice tells me delivery is scheduled for Sat 9 Sep!!! When I finally talk to a live person, I'm told it was backordered and I was obviously never informed. I get transferred to a "distribution area" person who says they will arrange to have it delivered "from the warehouse" on Fri 1 Sep. I call again the day before (31 Aug) because no one has called with a delivery window. And I am again told delivery is for Sat 9 Sep. After expressing my displeasure, the best they could do is Wed 6 Sep, 8 DAYS LATE. I already had my old sofa removed on Mon 28 Aug based on what I thought were truthful Ashley emails, so I have to live without any sofa FOR 9 DAYS. WORST WORST WORST experience ever!!!

We were just coming in to window shop because or house is not finished being built yet but she let us know that we can purchase now and have delivered in October after we close. Because she was so amazing we purchased our Dining room set , living room set, guest room set, and master bedroom set. I give this one star based on their customer service. The sales person Hailey was extremely polite and helpful. We paid in full for the sectional we got but when it arrived on the delivery date, there was wrong pieces. I understand this happens but when I called to see when I would get the correct pieces, I got the run around and no one could give me an answer. It’s been 2 days and I still haven’t heard anything. Not only do they already have my money but my wife has taken days off work which she doesn’t get paid for, so that’s more money lost. I’m to the point I am thinking about sending it back to get a refund. If I had financed this and was late on a payment they would repo the furniture.

We did some shopping in this Ashley furniture in Aug, 2023. We asked the sales person who intercepted us at the door to let us look, and we would come get her if and when we had questions and such. For the most part, she was pretty good about giving us our space. As to our word, we went to her when we found something that interested us. she presented the information we asked for when possible. As such we decided to make a purchase. The prices were more reasonable than most other furniture stores in the area. To be fair, not on everything. And Ashley is by no means inexpensive. But they seemed to have more items that are less expensive than a lot of other places. Our items are scheduled to be delivered soon. Unless something goes wrong. Our experience at Ashley furniture was not as painful as it could have been. If something goes awry with delivery, I'll make an edit. But for now, we found Ashley to have a nicer selection of things we preferred, at less expensive prices.
I am disappointed that they lowered their military discount.
We bought a couch set in June 2022. We also paid for the extended warranty.The couch seat covers are tearing. Ashley and the extended warranty are saying they can’t do anything about it. That’s crazy how this company is ok with taking hard earn money from people. The couch is a little over a year this shouldn’t be happening already. And we take care of our furniture. Our whole home is from Ashley’s Furniture. But we will never spend a penny at any Ashley’s again.The only reason they get one star because of the sales people in the store they are wonderful. But the product and the service to repair and extend warranty is terrible.

They were very helpful in answering my questions without being pushing trying to sell me things I wasn't interested in.
This was hands down the worst customer service experience of my life. My 73 year old mother purchased a bed and the sales associate, Kendall Anderson informed us that the delivery drivers would take her old mattress, but not the bed frame. We had habitat for humanity remove the bed frame and they would have also taken the mattress. The delivery arrived at 6:52pm, which was almost as hour later than the window of time that they gave to us (between 2 and 6pm) and no one was available to give us any updates during the day. The delivery drivers, Andy Jesus and his partner were the rude, dirty and ignorant. They refused to take the mattress and would not even wait for us to get off of the phone with the store before leaving (two alone single women). They also made a complete mess of the room where the bed was delivered and just kept repeating that they don’t take mattresses. Ashley Furniture has done nothing to help us and have not even given us a courtesy call to apologize.

No one knew a foundation was needed for my bed so I am still on the couch. The delivery people stopped speaking English when questioned. Now I'm waiting for a threshold delivery for something that was missing that I didn't make the mistake on. I am getting a foundation at no cost to me but still it is not fair to be waiting even longer.

Don’t ever purchase anything for this store they are not helpful they charge $500+ to deliver and then when you aren’t satisfied with your order not even 24 hours after delivery you can’t return it!!! I am out 6k and they don’t care. I spent over 2.5 hours on the phone with 12 different reps from customer service with Ashley to the Ocala store managers and they can’t do anything they said they don’t have a return policy!!! Beware of these crooks they will get you!! I was told from a friend to not buy anything from there as they did the same to her and boy do I regret not listening to her.

We are relocating from Ga to FL and the folks at Ashley’s Furniture in Ocala FL have been fantastic to work with. The sales associate Kindel has been awesome to work with. She worked through our order the day we were there and answered every question we had. We have recently had to change the order and she was right there once again to assist with the changes. Highly recommend the Ashley’s Furniture in Ocala FL. Ask for Kindel. She will probably be at work.

I am a 10 yearlong Ashley's customer who is very upset with what took place here. I spent about $10,000 all cash no financing and over the phone. Logan Fonte was the one helping me once I bought everything, he was nonexistent to help with my issues Aka issues he did not correct from the start. He gained my commission then went ghost. Then the so called "Manager" Abel should not even have a job at this store he is clueless of all. They shipped me the wrong box springs it took them 3 weeks to even try and get it done for me. Abel was one lie after another he told me don't worry, he has it covered. I showed up to the store twice and he said he cannot do it for me he does not know how too do it. How does a "Manager" not know how to do something so simple? I called dispatch based in Tampa from driver and she felt bad for all I told her she called the store for me and forced them to make my changes (3 hours on hold by Abel and his team) Once someone higher up confronted him with a 3-way call magically he knew how to do it. I made this order 3 months ago and we are still not rectified. Everyone in this store has a major attitude and they sit behind computer's and look at you with 10 heads like you are wrong when it is them. I Also was told from Sales Logan that I had a $95 dollar balance that would be refunded to me 2 months ago nothing ever came back to my card. Now the store is telling me there is no refund at all. So, what did the salesman get from telling me this? This overall experience is 0 stars. I will never shop at Ashleys ever again in my life from what took place here. They told me the head boss Frank was going to reach out to me and yeah.... That never happened either. I spent about 50k at Ashleys in the last 5 years. I ask to speak to higher ups and it gets nowhere. This store and experience awful. 0 stars.

Well, where do I begin? I entered the store on May 8, 2023 and was approached by a gentleman name. Logan introduced himself to me and asked me could he help me and I said yes, I told him what I was looking for the color and shape and the size, and he said that he had what I was looking for. I would recommend Ashley based on their quantity and quality for the money. The sales persons are easy to work with. However, my recent experience involved the purchase of a chair on clearance after the salesperson showed none available and the overcharge on my credit card. Apparently, there were plenty of salespeople but few management personnel to solve problems. I plan on correcting the problem this week.

Beautiful HUGE showroom and quite honestly, the pictures on the website pale in comparison to seeing the furniture in the showroom! This furniture is built well, really beautiful, reasonably priced, and quite sturdy! The staff were friendly, professional, and not pushy. My sales person, Joanie, was INCREDIBLY helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and super fast with pulling my order together! I had been to 3 or 4 furniture stores before getting to Ashley furniture and I regret wasting my time at the other stores.
The scheduler was great - everyone nice but no so relaxing when technicians are speakly loudly on their phones. It was not my technician but the one next to me.

2of the several pieces I order came broken or in need of repair. I only had them for less than 4 hours and when I reported it I had to wait for a service call. My first service call was fine but the table needed a part. I am still waiting to hear anything. I was told that once it arrived at the warehouse I still have to wait 7-10 days for an appointment. What a customer unfriendly policy. Aldo when I did call the person on the other end was completely unrecognizable for the English language. I still don’t know what she was talking about. My second piece is to be looked at Saturday after receiving it Wednesday only because I insisted. I received an email telling me I needed to take 360 degree pictures of the chair and send it. What doesn’t work is mechanical not cosmetic. If I took a million pictures that still would not have. Clue as to what is going on. I am very disappointed with Ashley’s policy and level of work. A little quality control and neither of these things would have been delivered. I would hesitate to recommend buying from Ashley nor will I again.
The sales person was excellent. Our furniture was supposed to be delivered Tuesday. I received a phone message saying they would be there in 5 minutes. After a 1/2 hour I called. After two more phone calls and an hour later it was determined that the address they entered was incorrect even though the records indicated the correct address. Instead of coming to deliver they took the furniture back to the warehouse which will not be delivered until next week. We had sold our old bedroom set the day before therefore needed this furniture delivered as scheduled. It was their error which we felt they should have delivered when they realized they were headed in the wrong direction.

I was having trouble with the online site/credit card approval and reached out to a sales rep Joanie and she placed an online order for me. She was patient and stayed on the phone the entire time to make sure my order and credit card went thru. I love the furniture that Ashley has to offer and especially the sale prices. I recently received damaged furniture on 1/28. I was missing a boxspring for a full sized mattress and instead was sent a twin mattress that I was apparently charged for. The damaged furniture should not have been left in my home, but it was A service tech was supposed to show up on Feb 4th. I received a calm to confirm but Noone showed. A full day of work Lost. I have called over 15 times and emailed 4 times and keep getting promises of it being corrected soon but NOTHING. $3,500 down the drain

Loved our couches. We bought them during the Memorial Day sale where they were offering 10% off. Got told they would mail a gift card for the “10% off”, a few months pass by I got told they were putting a hold on getting them mailed out. 6 months pass, I completely forget about it, and I called them to ask why I never received the gift card, the lady told me “funny story, it shows your gift card just expired yesterday.” I never once received this gift card. She said it was sent by email and I never got it. She said she would ask her manager if she could re-issue it, and still have not received anything. Needless to say, be careful with the “sales” they have.
Item delivered broken. Refused to pick up item after arriving broken. Their return policy states that they will pick up the item if it is delivered damaged but they're requiring seniors to return it to the store. Don't buy from this garbage place. Filed with BBB.

Ordered sectional 12/25/22 paid extra for set up and delivery. Sectional is $400 more than other stores but due Ashley Furniture commercial ads as being such a great furniture store I decided to pay the extra money to purchase through the website. Here it is the week of delivery and they call me to tell me the sectional is on back order! Now they changed the delivery to 2/9/23 another month! Had my new bedroom set delivered. They only sent one guy who damaged the dresser, my stairs, and door frame. My 12” Mattress never expanded. It doesn’t even fit in the bed frame. Each corner measures differently. I’ve been fighting for months and they won’t exchange it.
I was blown away by the selection and quality of the furniture! Stacy was very helpful- she spent time getting to know the style of furniture I wanted and showed me pieces that matched my style. This is the absolute worst company. They do not hold true to their products. I bought a sofa and loveseat in 2019. It was immediately replaced. The wood panels in the couch were broken. Recently, the seams and zippers on the cushions have completely shredded. They both are taken care of pretty well. This should have never happened. I purchased a 5-year protection plan. I spent 2 hours on the phone being passed around between Ashley furniture and the “protection plan company”. I have never used the protection plan before as we have not had an issue with the couches other than the delivery issue and now the cushions. They refuse to help. Each not taking responsibility for the issue. They said the best they can do is give a technician number for us to call and PAY for the repairs while I still have a warranty! They are also very contradicting. I was told that it covers all animal/ accidental rips and tears. They are no longer saying this is true. That was the main reason we purchased it having children and animals. My husbands name is on the account which they were aware of at the very beginning. They are now refusing to speak to me. If I want my money back they will only give us the probated amount even though it has never been used. At this point I should just buy a new couch. I will not be going back to Ashley furniture.

Love my new sofa set my boyfriend bought for me. Ashley does not have or offer delivery service so I had to hire a third party delivery service to delivery my furniture. They took excellent care of my furniture during delivery, installation and set up. My boyfriend also purchased the insurance package on the furniture and when I noticed that the wedge was damaged I went to file a claim and was told it is a warranty issue and to call customer care. The warranty and customer care departments will NOT do anything to rectify the damage to the bottom of my wedge. I have 2 holes in the bottom of it. Customer care scheduled a technician appointment and said that someone would be calling me to confirm what time they would be showing. I got no phone call and was told that my appointment was cancelled. I didn't cancel it. I don't know who cancelled it. Then my issue had to be escalated and I was told that someone would be calling me back. It is now 4 days and still no phone call. Store took my boyfriend's $9900 but won't do anything to correct the damage to the wedge. The furniture was purchased on 11/15 and it was delivered 5 days later. I seriously would not recommend buying anything from Ashley furniture in the future. The sales order has my wrong address and the sales lady that helped him put a bogus number on the order. I have never been so disappointed in my life. I still really do love my furniture. I am seriously disappointed in the handling of my issues and damage to new furniture.

Furniture scheduled to be delivered on 12/3… Got a text that delivery is now set up for 12/6! Old furniture is out on 12/2 scheduled off from work, now they push it back a week! I was supposed to get a text on my delivery time tomorrow today, instead get a text for delivery next week! What scam! When you call you get all people with broken English, that have no idea what you’re saying! Time to go to the store and cancel this order! Such a joke and a poor way to do business!!!
I was greeted at the door as soon as I walked in. And I already knew what I wanted. She helped me place my order. So I could go get my other things done that I had on my listed that day. Two great sales women. Love my Sterns and Foster mattress. Delivery was a nightmare with a very rude day laborer in an Enterprize truck who walked out, drove off, leaving me with no paperwork or signed receipt. Impossible to get through to store by phone so drove there in person. Local store personnel had no idea how to resolve issue. Expected call from store manager or delivery manager as requested. Didn't happen.

The worst furniture I have ever purchased in my lifetime!! Inferior and defective furniture,cushioning didn't even last 8 months. So uncomfortable, cheaply made with cardboard in arm rests made a popping sound when you went to get up. Frames separated, so called leather discolored after 6 months. When you try to call the store you get put on hold then call drops. If you ever reach someone they promise to call you back and it never happens. Not any help trying to resolve issue ,other than take it up with warranty plan says the manager. I would never recommend this store to anyone!!!
The worst furniture ever purchased in my lifetime. Extremely difficult reaching a person at the store. When you do reach someone they promise to return your call and they don't. Furniture cushioning wore out after 6-8 months ,discolored the leather which it wasn't real leather.Frames started to separate on both sofas. I would never ever recommend any one to Ashley stores their products are inferior and defective and they don't try to go out of their way to keep customers happy at all .If you are considering Furniture from them please don't waste your money,you will not be happy!!!

I cancelled my order 2 days prior to delivery after returning home and realizing that it was not going to work in the space. It’s now been over a week and I still have not received my refund credit to my debit card. I am VERY upset about this poor customer service! The most upsetting is that I am now receiving emails congratulating me on my purchase and delivery which I cancelled and was never delivered.
Kind, helpful and patient staff. Questions and concerns were answered thoroughly. I have always shopped at Ashley for all of my furniture needs, they always have the best designs and upcoming styles available, however, I noticed some of the quality of wood has decreased over the passed few years on certain items like bedroom sets. Not as heavyily-duty made as they used to be on some items, but the prices have not gone down with the cheaper used wood products. I purchased Barstools while there and they were sturdier then the bedroom set I looked at. Overall, a good place to buy furniture in certain departments.
BUYER BEWARE!!! Post furniture purchase customer service is non-existent. I have been attempting to receive a refund due over $500.00. Corporate office is not reachable. Representatives hang up the phone after waiting hours to speak to someone. The store personnel is wonderful, however you will enter ZERO support once the deal is sealed.

So my daughter just moved into her very first apartment, happily she went to Ashley to buy a bedroom set! A beautiful very expensive set, when it was delivered approximately a week later my daughter was out of town and my husband excepted it. When her and I returned and saw it, clearly she was upset because the box spring and mattress are so high(not like it was in the store) so we called Ashley and couldn’t get through for days, everytime we finally got through the automated system , we were disconnected after about a week and a half of that I called corporate and they said they do t do any refunds or exchanges but maybe the store manager would. So again we try and get through and about 3 days later we do and I’m told that the manager is aware of the situation and that an exchange would be made and they would contact my daughter on Thursday, no one did but on Sunday she got an email stating they would not exchange or refund or correct the issue!!!! This is horrible!!!!

I have spent allot of money over the years at Ashley Furniture first time back in 2005 and had that furniture some still today, But September I had spent $4200 on mattress and motion base. Now after dealing with Mattress sinking and giving no support for lower back I put in for a warranty claim, 1st issue I have is can not even call the local store through the local number and for 4 days in a row I kept getting someone in Asia that barely speaks English and today I get someone on the phone in America and tells me that they need to send a technician out, but I have to send pictures first. She also told me that the technician has to see that the mattress is depressed 1 1/2 inches well if I wait till then I wont be able to walk due to extreme back pain. I also called Beauty Rest and they wont do anything even though they admitted they have had issues with this mattress because it was bought through Ashley Furniture. The Mattress is a Beauty Rest Harmony Lux Diamond and I paid $2499.00 plus tax just for this POS. I'm now going to blast this review all over Social Media and multiple times on several of Ashley's and Beauty Rests sites. It seems today everybody worries about reviews so lets see how much response I get from either of them. I unlike most don't finance furniture I pay for it so this is money that I expect back. Both these Companies are at fault. Check out the reviews on this mattress for yourself.

Great furniture options but horrible customer service. They have horrible policies for refunds and make it pretty much impossible to work anything out or get your money back for items in perfect condition. Really not worth shopping there unless you're 100% sure that you're going to keep what you buy.
This was hands down the worst service I’ve ever received. In store, they were great up until actual checkout. Unbeknownst to me, they ordered the incorrect version of my bed frame, as well as order two headboards, and forgot my dresser altogether. When the incorrect shipment arrived, I was told to keep the items until they could send out the correct pieces. That alone took two weeks to hear a word back after numerous calls asking. Once the shipment was brought in, they had no idea to bring back the incorrect pieces so I once again had to call. Once that was figured out, they didn’t even have the nuts and bolts needed to set up the bed frame. I am now waiting for my THIRD shipment from Ashley with very little help from any staff. If I could rate 0 stars I absolutely would.
They delivered the mattress to the wrong address & trespass the property of an empty house still under construction. The Ashley personal enter it without anybody's permission, also the person in charge of my mattress delivery signed for my self, so that is totally ILEGAL procedure from Ashley Furniture. They left the mattress in one of the empty rooms. I do not recommend anybody to buy from this store!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus their customer service is the worst too. Be careful before you buy from Ashley anything!!!!
Great selection of very nice furniture. We've purchased from another location in the past and had a good experience. Pretty disappointed this time. The posted sale was very misleading (most items weren't on sale). They have a sign indicating free delivery but they charged us for premium delivery without asking. Made the process very difficult to get it changed to free delivery once I caught it. Customer service was very helpful once I followed up, but the sales associates were misleading and didn't follow through on what they told me they'd do to fix the problem the day of purchase.
The store had the exact dining set I had envisioned in my head. I really had not expected to find and buy a table today, but I did. The saleman, Robert, was kind and just left me be to walk around the store at my leisure. I have not received the set yet so cannot speak to the quality. But the sales experience was good.

I want to specifically acknowledge the remarkable customer service that I received from Danny, the manager, as well as some of the staff - Grace, the original salesperson, Kindel for going above and beyond to jump at the opportunity to assist a clearly frustrated customer, and Barbara for clarifying a financial question I had about the bundle package I had received. I've never been treated with such respect and received such a prompt GROUP effort to satisfy my questions and concerns and I've been in sales and customer service my entire life. Highly recommend this location to anyone for their professionalism, their integrity, and their overall efforts to ensuring a high quality customer satisfaction. Highly satisfied.

Had delivery without power cord. Called customer assistance. Sat online for 45 minutes. Got hung up on. Called again hung up on again. Worst customer service ever!! After 8 hours, texts, numerous calls and email, finally getting part shipped to me in 10 days. I paid for set up and now have to have someone help set it up when I get the part because I can't lift the loveseat to hook it up. Extremely frustrating!!
Ashley's is a wonderful place to find everything you need to furnish your home. Michelle was excellent and helped me get everything just right a couple of times. Update 6/15/23 Lowered to 2 stars after waiting six months for our tables was told 3. Also, we never received the two promotional gift cards as promised and listed on our invoice, worth over $700. Went to the store twice, called customer service three times over the past year, Along with multiple texts and a few phone calls with the sales person.. Second time at the store, the manager blamed corporate for the promotion mishandling, copied the paperwork and supposedly send it to them. He said I would be hearing from them within hours or at the most two days, never heard from them, uet again. Unfortunately, the company doesn't seem to care about its customers or its employees, and for that reason, I will never purchase anything from them again. It was an expensive lesson, but there's many of those in life. Good luck to those who choose to work here or deal with them. Buyer beware, Don't take some deal with gift cards, get the discount straight away. We were shopping for a new mattress for our teenage son as well as new living room furniture. We were greeted by Kindel when we entered the store. She gave us info on the current sale and financing options, then told us to take our time. She didn't hover and pressure us in any way. We spent quite a bit of time looking on our own before we asked her for help with the mattresses. She was highly knowledgeable and very helpful. After settling on a mattress we then continued on with the furniture. Ultimately we ended up having to come back at the end of the day to complete our purchase as we had other obligations. Kindel was thorough and efficient throughout the entire process. We have bought furniture here before and will buy here again. Kindel was excellent and we really appreciate her effort, we will be seeing her again.

Bought a sectional last June 2021 cushions are sagging and fraying was told by a technician it was customer wear. Have a year warranty but they said the cushions were not covered it states in the warranty that theyare. Never will buy anything from Ashley again.

I am very upset with the delivery of my furniture. since day 1 of delivery I have not been able to use my couch as it was intended. I feel I'm responsible for the delivery guys messing up my furniture, I feel I'm responsible for you sending the wrong replacement piece. responsible as in I'm paying full price for your mistakes. I have to juggle my appointments around just to try and have this NEW couch fixed. I feel I should be compensated at least the amount of months I've paid for this furniture. Very disappointed
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! WILL NEVER RETURN! Placed an order day 1 and spent almost $3k. After three reschedules(all done the day before the scheduled delivery) I went to the store to resolve my issue and was told my options were to either continue waiting, or cancel my order and just be out three weeks time. Horrendous first and last experience. I would strongly suggest shopping elsewhere, unless you’re a fan of wasting your time and being treated poorly. Will be telling everyone who will listen to steer clear. Utter garbage.

We purchased items from this store with a delivery date set. Upon delivery, one of the items was damaged. For over two months we have been trying to get this item replaced. After waiting, we called and requested to speak directly to the supervisor. The store supervisor refused to speak to us or replace the item. Very unprofessional, customer service is poor. Do not use this store.

Beautiful furniture everything was nice .place my order for the whole entire house. Place a order last year in October. I still haven’t have my furniture. They never should take your money if they don’t have the furniture stocks. In a warehouse. To get in touch with somebody it’s terrible and then when you talk to somebody .they don’t know what you’re talking about they don’t even know your order. They promised the 18th of this month I will have my delivery. But I hear this before 4 or 5 times before .wil see if they keep the word.
We ordered 2 bedroom suites and 4 barstools in Dec of 2021. Sales person told us that one bedroom suite was in and if we wanted it delivered right away we should split our order because the other bedroom suite and barstools were not in. Delivery would happen on 1/5/22. We told him that we were from Ohio and had to extend our stay in order to take delivery (2 extra vacation days we had to use). We agreed and on 1/4/22 I called the store because I had not received a call for my delivery window. I was told that one item wasn’t in so delivery would not be happening. It would have been nice if someone would of called to notify us so we could have driven home as we had planned. 1/28 We received an email saying everything in the first order was in and ready for delivery. My husband called Customer Care and asked if the second order was also in. She said No. Then she told him to let the order sit their until the rest was in stock which she said would be 3/10/22. I called on 3/11 to set up delivery for the 25th of March and was told that now neither one of the orders were completely in. WHAT? We were then told to call the store that they would see more on their screen than what she could see. Called Ocala, talked to a very nice lady named Barbara. She said everything would be in stock by the 21st except the bar stools. Told her to cancel barstools off the order so that we could get the 2 bedroom suites delivered on the 25th. Barbara then called me back with the confirmation number for canceling the stools. We will see if the 2 bedroom suites get delivered. I like Ashley Furniture and hope this is just because of shipping delays. No excuse for using part of our first complete order to fill another. No excuse for not following through when they couldn’t get the order to notify us. Update: Both Bedroom suites were delivered, constructed and we are very satisfied! Will shop Ashley Furniture again.
Experience in the Ocala store was good. Sales people were friendly and helpful at the point of sale, however it went down hill after that. I received my order on time, BUT the delivery drivers did not contact me as requested prior to delivery so I was not at the drop off when they arrived. Someone else received the order and I didn't even know it had been delivered. Since I was unaware when it was delivered the delivery crew dropped it off unassembled in the boxes and left. I paid for delivery and set up and it clearly states that on the receipt so there shouldn't have been any problems. I immediately contacted the customer service dept and they said they were too far away to come back that day but would call me back and schedule for someone to come out and finish it. That never happened. I waited 2 days and called again connected me to the distribution center which said "yes you paid for set up, we'll call and get someone out there for you". NEVER called me back, again i waited 2 days and called back and had pretty much the same conversation and again waited a few days before calling a 3rd time! This time the person at distribution said i didn't pay for set up and I had to go into the store where I purchased it to figure it out, so I did. They looked at my order and said, "yes you paid for delivery and set up", they started a "claim" to get it taken care of and said that someone would be sending me an email with a link to go on and set up a day/time for someone to come out. AGAIN I waited and it took almost a week ton get an email that said " we've received your claim and will be getting with you soon". That email has been 5 days ago and I haven't received anything else from them! I'm pretty sure if i took over a week to pay them for my furniture they'd be calling me multiple times a day! But since we pay before delivery they simply don't care. I've had the furniture sitting in boxes over a week now and they still haven't communicated to me as to when someone will be out to finish the job I paid for!
The sales associate charged me for a protection plan without even asking and when I noticed it I contacted the manager she did give me a little bit of a discount. I tried to cancel my order the day after I bought it before delivery and the manager told me to go ahead and look at it in my house to see if I liked it and if not there would be no problem getting a refund .When I got the furniture it was defective from the factory Due to the Chase loungers cushion not being anywhere close enough to fitting. I ask for a refund ,it took three days for the store to put my request through they said it be another 7 to 10 days to get a refund. I have yet to get a refund as of 3-11–22 and I bought the furniture 2–27–22
Horrible customer service from start to finish. Unknowledgable sales person, late delivery, no way to call local store, 2 hour call back from customer service, rude manager named Alexis? who was quick to throw her team under the bus. She is a poor excuse for a leader. Rather than apologize her solution was to tell me she would "handle" the sales person and credit me $100 for my late delivery and poor experience. It has been a week and I am yet to get my credit back. I would love someone from the corporate office to contact me.

Ashley furniture was a great experience from the time we walked in the Ocala store. No pressure, answered my many questions, explained the sales process & payment opitions along with the checkout process. I feel the staff has been trained well making sure the customer is satisfied. One word of advise is make sure you're doing your homework upfront on pricing points because they'll make sure you get any on-line or sales prices!!
We went online to Ashley Home Furniture and had a bad experience, so opted to go to the Ocala, Florida store instead. We were first helped by the manager, Alexis, who was great. Because of other duties, she handed us off to Haley, who gave us excellent service! When we couldn't find what we wanted because it was back ordered, Haley helped us to find a deal on other furniture that not only was in stock, but was less expensive and we liked it better! We will be back!

I purchased an outdoor sofa and two chairs. They offered delivery and assembly for $119..99 for "all the items in this order". They came and delivered the Sofa and assembled it. The two chairs showed up in a box. They ( Ashley) say too bad, bring them back if you want. HORRIBLE COMPANY. Misleading customers intentionally in my opinion. Rude and short with you when you call in. I strongly recommend you not do business with them.
Can't say enough, Awesome lady helped us, smooth transaction. The furniture might cost a bit more than competitors but the quality is far superior. We shopped around and for the few extra dollars it was well worth it.
My expensive recliner was ordered and promised within 6 days. It has been scheduled for delivery three times and canceled each time even after I received scheduled time and the 4-Hour block. When it wasn't even on the truck yet they gave me a 4 hour time block for delivery. If I don't get my recliner delivered soon I'm going to cancel payment and not take delivery. Advised the manager who said she couldn't refund the delivery but gave me $25 gift cards that's only valid 1 per order. I was previously promised a refund. Set up my own furniture.

Beware.. Consumers….. I purchased furniture from Ashley’s Ocala FL store in October 2021. The furniture arrived defective, I immediately filed a claim and now we’re in Jan 2022, they sent a tech out and I requested for a refund or a re selection of something different, after the Tech that Ashley sent stated that he had 40 plus years of experience told told me I needed to have my brand new purchase repaired, yes you heard correctly REPAIRED he said because if I had Ashley exchanged it, it would have the same defects. I then requested a refund. Today I was told no refund, no re selection, they can only exchange it. They’re Bullies, taking consumers hard earn money and holding them hostage with defective products. Please beware. If you do buy from them please ask for a clear writing of how you get your money back.

This was the worst experience I ever had at Ashley's furniture store in Ocala Fl The employee's that I work with was incompetent about Synchrony credit ,I had a few of the Ashley's employee's come up to me and tell me they don't except synchrony credit cards . Not to mention the employee's kept trying to make me finance my merchandise through(synchrony). I even called synchrony to check the status and make sure it was possible.Ashley home store Ocala, Fl is a joke everybody is dressed well but all the employee's Are incompetent. STAY AWAY!!!! Major rip off! The delivery drivers are subcontractors that rush building the furniture to the point of damage. Had a patio set damaged 5 times finally I built it myself to save the stress. The store will not help or speak to you in regards to any issues once you’ve made a purchase. Emails to district managers fell on deaf ears. Financing company synchrony is a scam bank taking advantage of people. Wouldn’t send my worst enemy here.

The only thing that Ashley furniture is good and fast at is taking money out of your account. Subpar customer updates. Excessive wait times to speak with customer service. You can't reach local store by phone. Takes you to universal queue. They brag about being the largest furniture retailer and having their own manufacturing and shipping fleet but are just as bad as other companies that don't have these resources. I will never do business with them again, nor will my friends or family. Worst furniture experience ever.
Have good variety of dining sets on display. They have exclusive Ashley products that you cannot get elsewhere.
The furniture is substandard and not good quality. Was comfortable in the store but the products I got are not comfortable at all I will not buy furniture from them again. For the money I spent I expected better quality. The warranty is a waste of money.

The store was nice, the store associate was friendly but the furniture I wanted for the holidays wasn't available for 12 weeks. I was open to selecting something different but then the associate didn't seem interested in helping me find something else...I came home and bought similar furniture online at Wayfair that will arrive tomorrow.
Great experience. Sales person was so patient and not pushy. Everyone was respectful with us and sales people didn't try to step over each other to "get the sale".

Travis can you look into the 2 refunds I am due? First was with Kindel not applying a military discount and second was Kindel put in the wrong bed frame size on the order and I refused the queen frame, ordered a full. The warehouse has confirmed they received it back. Can you reply with when I will see the refund. I am going on 30 days with no resolve! Broken furniture and "approved" return is still sitting in my garage. I was told the day they delivered they would send someone to fix the broken handle.. Nothing and I get the covid excuse about having someone to come out! Next will be my cc company and the BBB! This is such poor service.

Terrible. I ordered a wall item on line,it was the wrong description,they wouldn't take it back in the store. I never heard of not bring able to take something back yo their own store. Then they wouldn't send me a free mailing label,I'd have to pay over 30.00 to send back. So I took it to a second hand store. Beware of ordering in line!!!!!!

Try to get a refund in a timely way. Ordered a table 7/3/21. my cc charged 7/5. told not arriving till February 2022. 10/30 cancelled by phone to their corporate 800 number, (never was able to reach the store after 2 days of trying), I never received cancellation confirm. Called the store early in the week. Was told the order was officially cancelled "today" Saturday the 6th. so 7 to 10 business days to get the refund processed from today, not 7 to 10 from when I was first told the order was cancelled. They are quick to take money, stupidly slow to process refunds. I need more furniture. Will shop elsewhere. 1 star for this review about to hit social media! VERY unhappy.

My wife and I stopped into our local ashley furniture in Ocala FL, and purchased furniture for our new house we purchased. Bought several items in the beginning of Aug. Was told a few items would be delivered the following week, followed by more in 2 weeks and the rest would be delivered in 4 weeks. End of October and we are still missing a kitchen table, bedroom bed frame and headboard and dresser. We also purchased a tempurpedic mattress and was told we had 90 days in home trail. After a week we did not like the mattress and called the store to start the return process and was told we would have to wait 30 days first to give our body proper time to adjust. It sound reasonable so I agreed. After the 30 days was up we was not satisfied and called and was told we need to go the store to start the process of returning it. (45 min drive) and got there asked for the manager as directed and she told us they do not have 90 day trial period that they have an 90 exchange period that we could pick out a different mattress. We did not accept this answer so she said I agreed to it which I told her no we did not. So she stated that she would show the paperwork we original signed. She found the paperwork but the form she stated we signed was not there. Stated to us thats are return policy and it does not matter if you signed it or not and refused to take the mattress back which cost over $5000. All we asked for is to keep your word and take the mattress back. We have been buying Ashley furniture for 10 years and this may be our last purchase.

Went in to see what was available in sofas and loveseats. We were not familiar with the brand Ashley or their stores. Initially met by sales associate Cesar. Late also chatted with Matthew, one of the managers. Went back in a couple of days later to further compare pieces, availability, and prices. On that day we were helped by sales associate Michaella and her manager, Alexius (Cesar and Matthew were off). Decided on what we wanted to purchase. Compared what Ashley's could offer on price, delivery, and warranty with other known local retailers, and on line, including Amazon. We were glad we did those comparisons. We shared our findings with Michaella and Alexius. They matched or beat everything. So we bought a sofa and matching loveseat - Ashley's "Party Time" in white. Throughout our shopping experience we were treated very well. No pressure, but very attentive to our questions etc. We were also impressed with the quality of the furniture and the availability of accessories etc. Good store, great people, very reasonable prices. We'll go back next time we're in the market for furniture.

Experience was good! Kindel didn't push sales on me and let me be, so when I was ready to place my order later the same day that's who I made sure to find. I have not received the furniture yet to have any opinion on that.
After waiting almost a month to receive approval for the tax free exemption for our church, I then proceed to the store to make the purchase. Unfortunately the sales clerk that was helping us went on vacation and left another to follow up with the purchase. The order was nowhere to be found and I had to start over. The clerk was having difficulty ringing up the sale and this required calling the supervisor to help. She was not able to print the receipt after running the credit card. The clerk asked me to follow her to the main sales desk where another person was able to print out the receipt. On my way home (45min from the store) I receive a phone call to return to the store as I owe them money. UGH!!! They had to run the card again, after I made certain they voided the first sale. Certainly won't recommend Ashley Furniture.

Horrible horrible horrible!!! I will never step foot in this store again! If I could give zero stars I would. Bought all kinds of furniture. When it was delivered, one table was lop sided badly and the delivery people broke one of our solar lights. They replaced the table with another crooked one! Then our "matching" nightstands didn't match. One was brown and one black. Calling their customer service was even worse. Had to wait 50 minutes for someone to pick up the phone only to be hung up on! Then we drove to the store only to be told that the manager wouldn't speak to us. We had to talk to a guy in " customer service "????? What a company! Never again!
We had very little time to furnish a WHOLE house... 5 bedrooms, living, dining, kitchen, patio, literally everything. I just had major surgery so furniture shopping was not what I had planned as an “exciting” adventure out of the house. Let me tell you, Sahi at our store in Ocala was AMAZING. I have never had a smoother more pleasant experience purchasing anything in my life. She made everything so easy and effortless and literally took care of it ALL! If I could leave Sahi 10 stars I would!!

I love this ashley. The employees and managers are always friendly and ready to help. This is our second time using this ashley. The first time we bought a couch and this time a bunk bed for my daughter, and a brand new mattress and bed frame for me. If I could give 0 stars I would. The only bright spot was my sales gal Grace. Amazing. Three deliveries and 3 different things damaged. Delivery drivers complaining about the warehouse and saying to keep the items as it would be easier to exchange damaged items...technicians coming to assess damaged items and redeliveries of items still coming damaged. Items canceled and I can't get a straight answer from customer service on where my money is.
Terrible customer service multiple pieces were defective as well as them sending me a used bookcase bed for my daughter. installers say they do this all the time , if customer does not say nothing then they try to get away with it. My furniture was used and repainted. Then took them 4 months to let me know when they are coming out to replace it. 3 techs came out and they brought wrong parts to replace and forgot to replace other defective pieces. I am still waiting to have them fix these issues, would not buy from them again.
My experience with this store has been terrible. Bought a power recliner for my dissable mom. Chair broke twice in less than one year. After multiple calls Ashley's decides to grant a store credit (the replacement part was coming from China and it was going to take over a month for part to arrive) its been way over a month, I still have no store credit and the broken chair is still in my house. I will not recommend this place to anyone. This entire process has lasted almost 3 months they are quick to take your money, but cant expedite a return.
I highly recommend the Ashley Homestore in Ocala. We have purchased multiple pieces of furniture from them over the past couple of years. We went in recently because we needed some parts for one of the pieces purchased over a year ago. The Manager jumped in personally, working with Customer Service, to get us the parts we needed at a very low cost. Because of that, I have decided we need another bedroom suit - from Ashley Homestore!

Ashley furniture is great furniture at a reasonable price! I would have given Ashley 5 stars except for the fact that I had an appointment with Makayla and she was unable to help us. She did however assign us to Hailey who did a great job finalizing our furniture purchase.
My experience with the Ocala, Fl. branch was terrible. On delivery we received 3 pieces that were damaged and 1 that was not what we ordered. I called and they assured me that they would corrected it and that I would receive a call from the store manager. In the end we are humans serving humans. Well I never got a call from anyone from the store not even the janitor. Today, 1 month later they schedule delivery of what I thought to be all the items to make us whole. Upon arrival we find again an incomplete order. Today is the final straw, so I have asked them to take it all back. Refund me my money and I will go somewhere else to get a quality bedroom set that we can enjoy. If all of what I just explained is not enough as I have been waiting for an hour on hold for a final resolution of this catastrophe, they hang up on me. I guess I have to call back and wait another hour to get someone. It is astonishing the level of incompetence that is company has in resolving simple fixes.
No stress from sales people. Salesman greeted me at the door and then let me look around at my own pace. He was available when I made my decision. Ordering was fast, and not complicated. Prices were also very reasonable!

I have been searching for a bed base for quite some time. I take my time and research before a major purchase. Upon choosing The Ashley store in Ocala, we took a trip down down to just see what the items looked like in person. Our salesman "Guy" was great! He didn't hawk over us while we were browsing but was politely available for every question and quote we asked. The store is set up lovely, so you can get an idea of how it would look in a home! We purchased a beautiful bed with storage drawers. The process was seamless, and easy. IF I had to say anything disappointed me, it would only be the fact that I wanted the beautiful bed right away, but I had to wait a few days for delivery .. haha I would recommend them time and time again! Thanks Guy, for exceptional salemanship!!!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS ORGANIZATION AS THEY ARE UNABLE TO FULFILL THEIR OBLIGATIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER I ordered bedroom furniture almost 2 months ago. When the order was placed, a delivery date was set as all items were in stock. At this time I still have no furniture. This is the 5th time the delivery has been rescheduled and they just cancelled as I did not answer the phone to provide a second confirmation for the delivery. This is the worst experience I’ve EVERY had.

This was our first shopping trip at this store. We already knew we were interested in a particular accent chair offered by Ashley HomeStore and wanted to actually see the chair or another similar one. Our Sales Associate made the process of finding out more about this chair and coordinating various pillows and a possible area rug easy and enjoyable. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in our making decisions. No one in the store seemed pushy. We ordered the chair and three pillows. We'll definitely shop here again and ask for Kindel A.

I ordered the couch and loveseat by phone, it went well. Two gentlemen who delivered the furniture were very nice and efficient. I would like to speak to someone about the product, the back of the loveseat where there should be a seam there isn't one, looks like it was cut and left that way. The middle seat on the couch, there is black stitching is loose and spreading. Would appreciate a call from someone. I would rate the 2 ladies that helped me as well as the delivery men with a 5 star. The furniture, not so much. I would like to survey again after I am contacted so I can give a BETTER survey.

The office chair was substantial enough, but didn't fit the desk we bought it for. Considering the showroom and the prices, we assumed somewhat upscale. Their return policy: "There is no return policy." which means nothing in itself. What it means in English, apparently, is that there is a "no return" policy. Also no store credit or exchanges. Seems Ashley stores are individually owned, but the internet reviews are very consistent across the country - stay far far away. It's run like the stereotypical used car lot. The actual policy is spelled out in evasive wording in lightly shaded tiny brown print covering the entire rear of the receipt. So, not only a no return or exchange policy, but the people at the customer service desk were abrupt and abrasive. There are many alternatives. Do your homework and pick one.

Delivery was horrible. The delivery men were very nice people but they did not arrive until 2 hours after the window of expected delivery time expired. No one called to notify me of the delay until well over an hour after the expected time of delivery expired. As I live in a gated community this was a problem as the guard leaves at 8pm. The furniture they delivered was broken which apparently was the case in 2 of their previous deliveries for that day. Which was the reason for them getting to my house so late. It was after 930pm by the time the delivery men left. Ridiculous. Unfortunately I will not be shopping at Ashley furniture store again because of this entire delivery situation. The woman I spoke to on the phone about where the delivery truck was and why they were late was very unhelpful and rude. I actually got to the point (after 20 minutes of conversation ) of requesting to cancel the entire sale due to her uncaring attitude towards the late hour of the day . the fact that the truck would not be able to enter my community didn't seem to be important at all. They have lovely furniture in the store. I am in the process of fully furnishing a 4 bedroom (5000 square feet ) home. It's actually a shame because otherwise I would definitely have returned to Ashley for further purchases It's a real shame to be honest. I would not recommend purchasing anything that requires them to deliver to you. In listening to the delivery men on the phone with the office, it was apparent this was a common occurrence for them. One gentleman say this would be the 3rd time that week that he would not be getting home until after 11pm. Mind you it was only Wednesday

The store was not ready for a sale weekend.. Ready to order and had to wait for sales person to be available to purchase with three over rides and the computer not helping the sales person... I will go to Kane's Furniture... It took to long to order and then the sales person is saying I the customer has to call and see when everything is in and ready for delivery... No your managers and sales staff should be helpful ..
After having a bad experience at another Ocala furniture store , my wife and I went to Ashley’s where Grace helped us. She was extremely helpful , sweet and understanding, she made us feel like family and welcome to the store. After our purchase we made our way to the other Ocala store to cancel our order , thank you Grace , you have a customer for life.
I bought my couch and loveseat 3/20/21 I didn't get it until 4/25/21. When they came the sofa was the right color but the loveseat was not. They took the loveseat back and then I had to wait another month to once again recieve the wrong color again. I am still waiting for the right one to come. When you call you can not get the store or a supervisor. Then you wait on line for a long time then it says rate your experience then it hangs up on you. What a joke.

Horrible company! Stay away! Spent over 3k on sofa broken in less than a year. Be aware the quality in the showroom may not be the quality you receive, that was what we have experienced Takes two months to get parts with a total of three months of a brand new broken sofa. This is.no the way to treat people Ashley’s! But you apologized so. What a joke of a company you are! I am someone that NEVER writes reviews this is a first.

My daughters and I went to Ashley’s furniture in the Ocala Store to look for a nightstands. I found 2 nice nightstands. They did not have them in stock, so the sales lady said, she would order them for me and have it delivered to my home. When I paid for it I did not notice the $59.99 delivery charge. After I received my 2 nightstands I checked my receipt and noticed the delivery charge added to my bill. so I immediately called the Store and explained that I was never told that there was a delivery charge. I explained also that if would have known I would have picked them up…. Then the person that I spoke to on the phone said that they would get back to me about this but never got a phone call from them…. What really upset me about this situation is not informing me about the delivery charge and telling me that I will get a phone call from the manager but I never did!! I WILL NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY’S FURNITURE AGAIN! THAT WAS MY FIRST TIME TO SHOP THERE AND IT WILL BE THE LAST!!!!!!

So, where to begin. We purchased a leather couch and love seat on Jan 2020. In December 2020, we contacted the store because of a bent frame. A technician came out and said “yep, it’s a bent frame” and because it was still under a year, the factory warranty was in place. He said he would order the part and it would take 5 days to be delivered and to call when it is delivered. It never came. A few months later, I called customer service but couldn’t get through because of “higher than average call volume” I waited for over an hour with no answer. So, I went to the local store. Where I was informed that the technician never ordered the part. The store said they have no way of communicating with the parts dept so I had to call again to have another technician come out. This was three weeks ago and he said the part would be delivered in 5 days. I called customer service this morning and the customer service agent tells me the part won’t be delivered until end of May 2021. So, this process has been going on for the better part of 6 months. The store manager can’t help, he said they have no way to communicate with “corporate” and they have taken away the ability of the stores to get involved with the technicians and parts deliveries. All they can do is look at their computers and track the progress of the parts. The run around you get with Ashley is quite amazing. The right hand has zero idea what the left hand is doing. My advice, pray to GOD you get a piece of furniture that doesn’t break because you are going to be waiting months to get it fixed and don’t even bother going to the store for answers unless you just want to have your parts order tracked because that’s all they are able to do to help. The couch and love seat we purchased was over $3500 with a $450 delivery fee. And we also purchased the extended warranty which can’t get involved because the break happened within the one year factory warranty. This really is unbelievable!
Barbara was great! She knew her inventory, helped me find what I was looking for, even helped find alternatives for the items on backorder. I left with a great deal and excited for my furniture to arrive. Ask for Barbara when you go in for the best experience.
I want to give minus 100 stars if I could. Please DO NOT SHOP at OCALA Ashely Homestore for your mental health. They delived damaged furniture and refused to exchange. They finally exchanged after 3 technicians visits, over 4 months of dealing with Ocala Home Store and customer service. Lisa Kirby, the store manager, has the worst atitude and anger management issue. Lisa Kirby should not be the person who should be dealing with customers at all. The 2nd furniture delivery guys assembled the furniture in every wrong way possible and didn't place bolts where they should be... total of 20 bolts were missing from the chairs, which is a huge safety issue. Horrible service and products. Please save yourself from dealing with rude Lisa Kirby and wasting your time.
My sales lady Melinda was extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect sofa that I needed which is being delivered within 3 days. The showroom is beautiful with a very large variety of home furnishings. They have everything you could possibly need. I went to the showroom in Ocala Florida. I highly recommend this store for your home furnishing needs.
Stay away! Stay Away! Just received my couch that I had to wait weeks for to be built as it was out if stock. It arrived today and the couch is a light cream color. Every single piece was dirty with handprint stains and dirt smudges everywhere. One of the pieces had loose material along the backing that I cannot fix. To top it off one of the pieces had to have been dropped on its bottom corner to the point where it broke the entire bottom of the couch frame. It doesn't make sense that a product that is thousands of dollars is sent to a customer in this condition. The overall build quality is terrible. You get a American Freight quality couch for the Ashley Furniture price. *Make sure to not opt in for "doorstep/threshold" delivery if you unwisely choose to spend your money here. As if the product is damaged you have to jump through some hoops to attempt to get your issue corrected. I will update with info depending on how this is resolved.
Terrible communication with store. Can’t get correct information from them. Manager and assistant manager are liars. Ordered bedroom set 8 months ago and they still don’t have set. Promised call/emails back but they don’t respond back. Never going in that store in Ocala ever again

They have nice furniture & the salesman wasnt as pushy as some but most of the furniture had such a long turn around time it was a waste of time if you want furniture now.
I was very happy with the service here. They had alot if inventory to look at. I just wish they had more of a children's section. I like to see the product in person and before I buy it. But other than that I was pleased with the service.

We were surprised when the new bedding was delivered and there was NO METAL FRAMEWORK FOR THE NEW BEDDING. After buying two other bedding setups over the last ten years we were surprised that they did not supply us with a frame, nor were we asked about a new frame.
If I could give zero stars I would. I made my order by phone with Hailey at the Ocala store on the 18th of March. It took me 6 days and 5 calls to even get them to send me my receipt. When my furniture arrived one of the pieces to the sectional was incorrect. I immediately called assuming it would be a simple thing for them to pick up the loveseat that should have been a sofa and deliver the correct item, but because Hailey put it in the computer wrong, the people who should be sending out the correct item keep kicking it back and the people at the Ocala store aren't taking responsibility for the mistake. To be clear, because I made my order over the phone, I gave them the exact item numbers of the items I wanted. When Hailey put it in the system, she put in the item number, then for some unknown reason added a bunch of substitutions to the sectional that left me with an incorrect piece. If they took responsibility and the mistake had been corrected I wouldn't be leaving this negative review.

I do not recommend buying anything from Ashley home store. At first you think you're getting an item on sale it takes 3 days for the account to pend. Just for the price to go away and then a higher price of being pend on bank account. because the cell was over so now you have to pay full price. Just for a different price to be taken out twice very confusing. When talking to a representative kind of helpful online, but doesn't really answer how much is actually going to be taken out of your account when basically meaning that any payment time they can take out any amount of money at any time they want to So will make keeping track of your banking difficult. Once the item is delivered however keep in mind I have bought two items from this location one item is missing major parts that required to be put together. About 16 pieces of a major part to hold the whole piece of furniture together. When going into the store to incorporate about these missing parts you were told that they don't keep parts on hand and that you have to call a number in order to get the parts that you're missing keep in mind that prices of furniture or hundreds of dollars and they are can't even give you 16 pieces so they forgot to package in your delivery. they're said they don't keep pieces there and that they don't even deliver from there basically washing their hands free it's like no you work for this company you should have the pieces that your company didn't give me. Once you call the number you will be on hold for hours due to the fact that they're receiving massive calls I wonder why could it be the other people are missing their parts as well could it be that you couldn't even throw the pieces that you need into it properly? Needless to say they're no help the product will be delivered incomplete and the amount of money that you pay will costly change even though you think you're paying for one amount. terrible customer service due to the fact that they have managed your hand ready for a fight about 16 missing parts and they're having to go to Lowe's to buy 16 missing parts so I end up spending more money for an overly price headboard. I do not recommend buying anything from this location or this company worldwide.

We worked with Grace at the Ocala, Florida location. She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and the manager Steve (I think that was his name) was welcoming. So why only 3 stars you ask? Because we picked out and paid for an entire house full of furniture in Nov. 2020, for delivery on March 16th. On March 12th, we received a call saying the rails to the king bed and 1 night stand were not available. In addition, we ordered a full size bed with mattress and box spring. They sent a queen. We were told that 1 night stand and the king bed rails were not available because it came in, but was sold to another customer who could take delivery sooner. If we had financed our purchase, I could better understand why it was sold to another customer. We did pay for all of our items when the order was placed. The closing on our current home is Match 17th, so we have no choice to move. My husband had surgery for liver cancer a week ago, so getting down to a mattress on the floor and back up is non negotiable. We just cannot understand why our items would be sold to someone else.

This was what was delivered to us last June. We noticed the side was listing out. Ashley will do nothing! We bought the 5 year extended warranty and the company will not touch it saying it is a manufacturing defect and too new it should be covered under Ashley one year warranty. We spent over $5,000 and been treated like dirt. We have been bounced back and forth from corporate, warranty companies, and home store. The side just keeps getting worse. This loveseat was obviously dropped in transit to us.
I really enjoyed my experience at this store with Barbara and Matt. They took the time to understand my needs and concerns. Will definitely be shopping there again!
Overall, we were very happy with our experience with Ashley HomeStore. The saleswoman was knowledgeable and friendly. We told her what we were looking for in all the pieces and she put us in the right spot. We love our tables and couches. The delivery was relatively painless. Yes, it was a 3rd party but they were great! Made quick work of setting everything up for us. We had one small issue with a couch but the techs (Jason and Darrell) came out, took a look and fixed it in no time. They were even earlier than what were told! Once they were done, I couldn’t even see where the issue was. Fantastic! The only reason why they are receiving 4 stars is the fact that it took longer than what we were told to receive the furniture by about a month and a half. Overall, this was a great experience and we will have no problem purchasing furniture from Ashley in the future.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT order any furniture from Ashley Furniture in Ocala. We ordered two bedroom suites for our children as we moved into our new home, and after six failed deliveries Ashley furniture still has not made it right. The first delivery was a third party that delivered our furniture, they left all the trash from the setup of the furniture and ran out the door saying sorry about the mess. They also brought the wrong nightstand. Ashley scheduled the second delivery of the nightstand and sent the wrong one again. So on the third delivery they finally sent the right nightstand. One of the dressers they delivered was broken, so I had to wait for a technician to come out and look at it, which made the fourth visit and he agreed I needed a new dresser. So for the 5th delivery they brought the wrong dresser to replace the broken one, and they told me they would get the right one sent out, well guess what they showed up tonight for the 6th time and brought the wrong dresser again. Never have I ever seen such incompetence and poor communication and they will not take back the furniture or refund my money! Please for your mental health do not shop there!!!!!!
We had a great experience in this store. We were assisted by Mr. José Vélez, who was very kind and helped us during the whole process of buying our king size bed. The manager gave us an extra discount which we really appreciated. The delivery was scheduled for March 27th however, we had the great surprise to receive it almost a month earlier. We recommend this store because of their service and prices.
We purchased furniture two separate times at Ashley HomeStore. You would think that after spending nearly $1,000 the first time that we would be treated as a valued customer. NOT TRUE. While in the store the second time we indicated that the table we purchased the first time incurred some damage. We were told that the warranty we purchased covered that so they scheduled a tech to come fix it today and gave us a card with that information - a no show. The second delivery came without the necessary legs and the delivery guy reported the issue. A few minutes after they left I called the store to report that the drawers do not work properly. A technician was then scheduled to come address that. We called yesterday regarding the fact that the legs we were told had been ordered had not arrived. When no tech showed up by 2 PM today with no contact as to when, I called and even went online to get assistance due to the LONG telephone hold time. I was told they did not have any appointment for today and the legs were back ordered until a month from now! So a second tech will come to do that - that is now 2 times I have to wait around for someone to come. But wait. That is not even the worse part. The warranty issue with our table can not be corrected until the first year manufacturer warranty expires. "Oh, I don't know why they told you they would send someone to fix it." I don't care why (either they were ignorant of the warranty or lied, or both) but I paid for the extra warranty, twice. Lies, run-around, and ignorance. In any case the customer suffers. SO STAY AWAY. There are plenty of other stores to buy furniture and probably less expensive.

To buy a dining set in this store The results were fatal When it was time to make my last payment I went to the store personally to make my last payment there and have my account closed As a responsible customer I wanted to do it like this But what I received in return was that they charged me 2 times more than the payment of the dining room set in the store, they do not give me an answer or solution I feel ignored I had to call my bank and complain about those fraudulent charges because for me that is what those fraud charges are because I ended up with them always paying on time. Now not even they return my money and I am in the middle of a situation with my bank to see how they help me Please never buy anything with acceptance now ever
This is the worst customer service I have received anywhere. We went to the store to purchase a loveseat and recliner like ones ours friends have. I had searched online and knew what we were looking for. They did not have the model we wanted in the store, but the sales person (Kindel) said she would order it for us. Had they had it in stock and had we been able to try it, we would have known it was not the one we were looking for. When it was delivered, the delivery men showed us that it worked and left. As soon as I sat in it, I knew it was the wrong one. I have neck issues and am very short (5 feet tall). The back of the loveseat and sofa push my head forward so my neck hurts. I texted Kindel the next day and explained the situation and asked if we could exchange for the one like our friends' or one that wouldn't hurt my neck She said she asked her manager. Several days later she told me it was a corporate issue, not a store issue and they needed corporate approval. A week later I asked where we were and she said she was still waiting to hear from corporate. Ten days later, same answer. Twelve days later she tells us that we did not get the answer she was looking for, and that I should contact corporate directly because "when consumers complain directly they are likely to take action." I contacted customer servicer on 2/3/2021. at 10:00 AM and was told that the decision is made at the store level and asked why I had waited two weeks to contact customer service. I explained that I had been dealing with this for two weeks at the store level and was told I should contact customer service at the corporate level. A claim number was generated and I was asked to send screen shots of all of the texts between Kindel and myself. I was told I should hear within 48 hours. On 2/5/2021, I called again a 5:30 PM because I hadn't heard anything. The customer service rep told me it was still an open ticket and I should hear have heard something I told her I had heard nothing and she told me to call back at 6:45. I did and was on hold with the customer service rep so long, the call timed out. I called back and spoke with another customer service rep who said the ticket was still open. I explained my frustration as I had been told I would be contact within 48 hour and it had now been 57 hours. She said she understood I was upset but her hands were tied, I get that. However, I don't understand why it is taking so long for the returns department to get back to me. I was told to call back today (2/6/2021) in the afternoon to give the returns department time to review the case and to make a decision. For a furniture store that claims to be the #1 furniture store in the country, they have the worst customer service ever! I will keep you posted. In the meantime, I will be contacting the local TV station to see if they can help me.
We bought 1 couch did not sit like the one in store, it is so uncomfortable. Also bought 2 love seats they are semi comfortable, but cheaply made. all 3 pieces have electric recliners they squeak and groan when used. One of the recliners had to be replaced. This is the worst furniture we have ever bought, we have had the set 3 months spent over $3000 and are already looking for a new set. If you have issues you cannot reach there customer service I had to call the store for help. Once you take delivery you are stuck.
Everything was great when we first bought our 6 piece sectional couch.. until we got the bill in the mail a few weeks later. They told us one thing and did another. We were supposed to get 3 year special financing but put it under a 2 year plan. Had to fight with them to fix it as there was “nothing they could do”. Unwillingly to fix their mistake and expected me to be okay with it. Called the bank myself and found out there WAS something they could do but apparently just didn’t want to deal with it. Two months later it’s finally fixed but still paying more than what we wanted for four months. That was the first issue. Found out they over charged me for their protection plan. Second issue. The third issue is a piece of our sectional is on back order and we were told a dec 18th delivery date (bought it right before Black Friday) for it and had the other 5 pieces delivered the following week . Okay no big deal.. until I found out it was pushed back til early feb when I was fighting for them to fix my financing. Called corporate to I get a hold of a supervisor about everything .. was told I’d get a call back in 72 hours and nothing happened. Called again a week later getting the runaround again about my missing piece. Saying I could get a different couch since it’s now pushed back to end of February or a refund! (This was all in December) says I have to deal with the store. Store says no and goes back to corporate. Was supposed to have a store manager call me back. Guess what, that didn’t happen either. Called yesterday about the re selection of a couch.. told they won’t do anything and there’s “nothing they can do” because the five pieces have been delivered and there’s a no return policy and I can’t reselect a couch either. Oh and guess what my piece is now pushed back to end of MARCH! So here I am stuck with a 5 piece sectional couch that’s supposed to be a 6 piece and there’s “nothing they can do” Maybe one day I’ll get my whole couch together.. maybe by Christmas. I will never deal with Ashley furniture again and I will tell everyone my experience as well. They don’t care about their mistakes and always say there’s nothing they can do. There’s always something to make it right. They just don’t wanna deal with it. I hope someone doesn’t have to deal with the horror of this place like I have.

Don't use ACCEPTANCE NOW they will generate a false credit report and make your credit score drop significantly when its satisfied. I paid my account off and they reported false information and to get anyone to fix is it impossible. The only thing they offer is to create a ticket or tell you to dispute it through the credit bureaus. I informed them that I am going to the original source. Yet again its just another ticket created.

I called regarding an issue with an item that I ordered through the store, they got their money but delivered a broken item to me and left it by the front door. No one in that company is able to handle this, 4 months dealing with this company without resolution. Of course we learn from this not to go to Ashley’s furniture store ever again. Rude and unprofessional employees and manager.

Went there to find a new living room set and met with Sahi, I hope I spelled your name correctly, if not I apologize. Wonderful sales person, very knowledgeable, pleasant and treated me as I believe she would like to be treated. When she needed help, she asked and received help, which was meted out in the same politeness, knowledgeable way that Sahi is. The customer service of everyone I had contact with was superb, I wish Ashley Furniture had a side business of training other companies how to use customer service like they do. I would totally recommend this company as I am sure I will continue to come back when needed. Thank You!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! I ordered a lot of furniture on September 1, 2020 and was told all except the sofa would be delivered 9/24, which it was. The sofa was to be delivered 10/19. 10/19 came and went and no sofa and no phone call. I called and was told delivery of the sofa wouldn’t be until December. I went to the store and spoke to the manager, Steven. After talking with a sales person, I was assured the sofa would be delivered 11/17. A few days before 11/17 I got an email stating delivery would be 12/1. I got a text earlier this week saying delivery would be today (11/27). After looking closer at the text, that delivery was for my mom’s order. I don’t know how my phone number even got on her order. I called Customer Care and was told my sofa wouldn’t be delivered until 12/10. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there were so many they couldn’t connect me to one. ????? I was transferred to another rep who then transferred me to the delivery Dept. And I was told delivery would be 12/30. So in a matter of 10-15 minutes it went from 12/10 to 12/30!! Apparently the sofa is on back order. Why wasn’t I told this on 9/1 when I placed the order?????? If I had known, I could have picked a different set! So I have a loveseat but no matching sofa. I asked them to come get the loveseat and issue me a refund on that and to cancel the sofa order and refund me for that. They said “they can’t do that” (loveseat). God only knows if I’ll ever get my sofa. I understand with the pandemic, things are tough everywhere. But I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD when I ordered that the sofa was on back order. Steer clear of this store. It has completely soured me on Ashley. Oh another thing: The store is blaming the Delivery Department and the Delivery Department is blaming the store. Somebody take responsibility and quit pointing fingers!!!!

The sales Rep that assisted me was Melinda and the manger Matt. They were both amazing. Greeted my husband and I with such positive energy and not pushy and just assisted us to furnish our bedroom and also get some really beautiful bookshelves for my art. Overall the experience was fantastic. Melinda answered all questions and concerns we had. She is extremely detailed and patience and has such a wonderful personality and made us feel comfortable and happy with our purchase. Many times when shopping to furnish your home the sales reps are very pushy and sometimes rude when they see that your indecisive, but we didn’t experience any of that when dealing with Melinda. She told us about the amazing deals Ashley had to offer as well and the manager Matt was also amazing. Came over to assist to make sure everything was okay and that if we needed anything never to hesitate. Overall if there was 10 stars they would get it from me. Thank you again Melinda and Matt! I would recommend any and everyone to go there. They have great pieces and a beautiful collection.
Zero return policy doesn’t work if you’re not given time to inspect your order. Lazy, dishonest, delivery driver, damaged and incorrectly assembled merchandise and customer service that doesn’t follow up with customer issues….I also have a zero return policy. Never again Ashley. Your boat is sinking and you don’t know it. Waited two months for my desk to be delivered and when it did one of the corners was damaged. The delivery guy was pushing me to make a decision to keep it or send it back. Then he assemble my book case wrong and didn’t want to disassemble it and put it together the right way. He left two cross bars off the back and put them back in the box. When he tried to bring the book shelf in, I ask where the missing parts were. He said I got the wrong book shelf and again became very pushy for me to decide to keep it or return it. Said he had other deliveries to make! If I had accepted the book case then I could not return it. Latter I had to adjust and tighten the desk hardware, because of the sloppy way it was assembled. The zero return policy is because they wont stand behind their product. Better off getting it from another store other than Ashley Home Stores.
Our bed side rail literally RIPPED like paper; and has been broken for MONTHS now. Customer service is the WORST!!!! They claim to have no control over being able to help me. They won’t refund me, they won’t replace the bed or allow me to choose a different bed. They literally told me I have to call the (800) number and wait on hold! I would strongly urge you to not shop at this store because of the cheaply made furniture and the HORRIBLE support!!!
My husband and I have just relocated to the Ocala area from Vermont. We decided to visit the local Ashley store to order a coffee table and end table to complete our set. We had previously purchased several items over the years at the Williston, VT store, and were always treated in a very cordial, and professional manner. What a difference we experienced at the Ocala store! We were totally ignored for the first 15 minutes in the store. We finally just sat down on a sofa adjacent to the 2 pieces we wished to purchase. Finally, a heavy set, middle aged woman walked by, and my husband asked if she could find someone to help us. She tried paging someone to no avail, and said she would help us if we knew what we wanted, as she was presently working with a gentleman on a large order. The tablet she was using wasn't working well, so I gave her the order numbers of the items we wanted to buy. We then followed her to another computer to try to complete the order. As she was inputting the order, I noticed the prices were substantially higher on her screen, than I had pulled up on my phone. She said that they would price match, and called her Manager over to authorize the price match. I then noticed that the total still seemed high. When we questioned her, she told us that there was a $59 delivery fee. If we picked it up ourselves, we would have to go to a warehouse in Brandon, and also assemble the pieces, and if anything was damaged, we could not return it. So we decided to go for delivery. Incidentally, she seemed irated that she had to wait on us. She told her Manager, that she was trying to get back to her other client, and mentioned to him that he was giving her a substantial order. She then told us that once the pieces were delivered, we needed to look them over really well, because if we found a problem after the delivery men left, we could not return them. Wow....this would not have happened at the Williston, VT location. In fact, on more than one delivery, we had issues with the items, and the store always made it right. We are blown away that the same organization could be so different in their policies and practices from location to location. We will definitely be checking out these 2 pieces with a fine tooth comb upon delivery, and hope that nothing is damaged. Can't imagine the hoops we will have to jump through if there is an issue.
dont ever buy from this company cause they just give you the run around with their in store warranty. They will send techs to repair your stuff and itll keep breaking like my couch has and even when its beyond repair they will make excuses not to replace it or refund you

Definitely have to update this the sales woman was awesome the company and customer service sucks and I will NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN WE SPENT CLOSE TI 18,000 AND its been 2 months and I still don't have all my furniture they keep saying it will e in this day and when the day comes they cancel they deliver the wrong mattress and still haven't got me my more expensive mattress never again !!!! If you want your furniture correct and on time don't go here take your hard earned money elsewhere ridiculous

I thought we found a great place but when my furniture was delivered damaged I contacted the company they did nothing to resolve the problem. After no word from them I contacted to store where we bought it. We were then given a nonsense reason and it was stated that they would not be replacing the furniture that was delivered to me damaged. I was told by Travis “it’s your problem since you’re the one with the broken table”. I told him that I would need a call from his manager. That call never came. I actually did not get resolution to this until I disputed the charges on my credit card. Only after that did they agree to replace the broken furniture. If you do buy from here beware. Do yourself a favor and only buy with a credit card so you can dispute the charges when they deliver broken furniture to you as well.

My husband and I purchased a sofa in June. We were told we would have it delivered mid July due to Covid. This was not a problem as we understood that things are a little crazy right now. A week before the delivery date in July we receive a call letting us know that the delivery will now not be made until August 24th. Again, we understood. Fast forward to yesterday August 18th and we get another call informing us that our order will be delayed yet again until September 6th. At this point we are fed up. How are you going to have someone pay $1800 for a product they have yet to receive 3 months later? This is absolutely insane and unacceptable. Hoping to actually receive our furniture on the promised date of Sept 6th. Update 8/25/2020- Just received a call this afternoon informing us that our order will be delayed AGAIN until 9/25/2020. Disgusting and unprofessional.
DYNAMITE Customer Service!!!! From the moment I walked into the store Shanti made me feel welcomed! In this day and time dealing with COVID19 we all need to feel welcomed lol! I’ve always believed in this motto “Treat others like you want to be treated!” and she demonstrated just that. Shanti took the time to find out what I was looking for and what my preferences were. It didn’t take me long to decide what I wanted. Shanti was very authentic and knowledgeable about Ashley’s products and warranties. Since Shanti was busy helping another customer her Manager Miguel stepped right in and continued with DYNAMITE service granting all requests. We can’t wait to receive our leather sectional! My husband and I are truly satisfied customers and will be making another purchase soon!

We bought a love seat about two years ago, that is the Ashley brand. We really like it, so when we moved into a bigger house, we ordered the matching sofa. It is the same model, but has a totally different feel. It is very stiff. So much so, if we had tried it in the store, we wouldn't had bought it. The craftsmanship is more on par with a sofa bought at Wal-Mart. The threaded holes for the feet had staples covering them. The material at the corners was so bunched up, and stapled, the feet would not bolt up flat. The cardboard used to cover it for shipping, was stapled to the decorative wood. It was a good price, but as it is always said, "you get what you pay for.
I was ready to refurnish my entire home when I walked in the store. Friendly employees, but majority of them not wearing masks or wearing them under their chin (not covering their nose or mouth) while helping customers. A salesman was helping me with no mask and I felt so uncomfortable I didn't make the purchase I wanted to make and left. It is insensitive and unsafe to not wear a mask during our statewide spike of COVID. I don't plan on coming back as I didn't feel safe or comfortable here.
Barbara was very helpful in showing us all the selections Ashley had to offer in the form of sectionals and was very knowledgeable of the quality of sofas. We appreciated all of her input in selecting our new sectional.
Our experience at Ashley was wonderful! The store is beautifully laid out. We loved how each section of the store presented furniture of a specific style, rather than being organized with, (for example) all dining tables together, all beds together, etc. This made it easier to see and choose many items that appealed to our taste and would be complimentary throughout our home. Our sales associate, Melinda, was fantastic- knowledgeable, courteous, and very helpful, as well as giving us space to come to a decision that was right for us that day. We purchased a dining set, and are thrilled that it can be delivered in just a few days. We will definitely return for future purchases, and will request Melinda’s help again.
No pressure and no hovering sales associates. We looked and found the dresser to go with the rest of our set. They were in stock and delivery is on Friday. We will see how the delivery process proceeds, but for now, the service and purchase process was stress free and easy.
The service rendered to me was exceptional. Barbara and Shantie answered all questions I had and never pressured me to make a decision just to make a sale. When the time comes to buy more furniture, I will be stopping by this location again.

The associate that helped me at the Ashley store in Ocala Florida is named Grace. Grace was absolutely phenomenal in her customer service. Grace has such beautiful spirit that just radiates from her. She was extremely helpful in all aspects of me finding what I was looking for and so very pleasant to talk to very soothing to my soul. She explained everything so very well and what a joy she was over all. Grace was the first one I met when I entered the store and she was glowing from my first sight of her as it would have seemed to me. Grace was the uttermost of helpful in all aspects of my purchase and because of Grace I will be coming back to this Ashley Store and I will want Grace to assist me. Excellent customer service Grace exemplified .

Just wanted to browse but was stalked out of the store.
If I could give negative stars I would. Let's start from the beginning. I spent $1,300 on a couch and an extra $100 for the GBS insurance in October 2019. I was told GBS will cover everything done to the couch I.e. pet stains, knife marks, cigarette burns, or it stolen. So of course I said sign me up. WRONG was a waste of money. I have a puppy and she peed on some of the cushions so I called GBS and asked if I could have a technician come out and replace them. They told me they only cover fabric and will not replace the cushion inside. I then reach out to Ashley's and told them about my experience and they told me that GBS is wrong and they have to replace my cushions. So now I'm being told two different things and spoke to 4 different GBS representatives all telling me they can not replace it. I once again call Ashley's and tell them and I am frustrated and ask if I can just purchase the cushions and call it a day they lady over the phone told me that it is not allowed and Ashley's does not sell parts of a couch I'd have to buy a whole new couch. I said that's absurd and she said because I got my couch in October and it's only March I am still under their warranty and they can send their own technician out to me. Jason their technician came out a day later and told Ashley's corporate I need new cushions and it is obvious and was on my side very nice and friendly. Jason said Ashley's will be contacting me in 48 hours to discuss the next steps but no one ever reached out to me. Let's fast forward to over a month later April 4, 2020 I contact Brittany at Ashley's furniture and guess what she says ... "you need to contact GBS it's in your warranty for them to replace it" and then as I continuously tell her they said no and will not replace it she doesn't believe me. She claims that she's putting a claim for corporate and they'll call in 48 hours to talk about it. I wake up today May 5th 2020 and it's a text message saying to call GBS because they will not fix it. I called Ashley's again and spoke to Brittany and once again said to call GBS for them to fix it and so for obvious reasons I am very frustrated that not only am I not being taken serious when I just spend $3,000 at their store for my living room to be redone but I am being fed wrong information by every employee because they were notGiven proper training with GBS and either was Brittany which keep in mind Brittany is a manager you would think she would be very bright which turns out she is not. So anyways I'm talking with Brittany and she says "the only thing you can do next is purchase the cushions from us" and I then respond and say "I asked that in March when I came in the first place with my cushion issues but was told I am not allowed to and would have to purchase my couch all over again" she said sorry and didn't know who I spoke with trying to brush it off. I asked her if I could have a discount because this is just ridiculous I need four cushions but it's been a month and a half and I've received ZERO contact from ashelys and ZERO apologies from them to say sorry for all the inconveniences all she could say is I understand. I have never been treated so poorly by a corporation. All I need is 4 cushions that's all.... but I can't even get a phone call to talk about anything. They are doing nothing to show appreciation for the money I've spent. I also tried to brush it off and not harass them with phone calls because I understand we're in a pandemic right now but since things are slowly getting back to normal I decided to reach out and that is the service I get. Same before pandemic and same after. Do not purchase the GBS insurance if you buy from Ashley's because they will not help you. And Ashley's will not help you either if you're still under their warranty for the couch.

I usually dont like going into furniture stores because i feel like I'm being followed but Shantie greeted me at the door and was very friendly and knowledgeable, without being pushy. I was not able to finish the sale due to time conflict but I will definitely be back to see her.

Our visit to the store was good. It was what happened after we purchased our bedroom set and mattress that lead us to give them 1 Star. We had our delivery set up for the bedroom set and mattress a week and half after we purchased it. On the day of delivery only part of our order showed up. We were delivered a bedroom set without the mattresses. Which would not have been such a big deal if we hadn’t already gotten rid of our mattress that morning in preparation for the new ones. We never got a call or any communication letting us know that mattress was on back order. The delivery guys had to tell us and we had to call the store to find out why. When we called the store they apologized and said the mattress would be delivered in another week. So now we have nothing to sleep on for a week, if they had just told us the mattress wouldn’t have been delivered at the same time we would have told Ashley Furniture to hold off delivering until we could get it all at once. We were also told since it was a platform bed we didn’t need a foundation or box spring. Once the bed was all set up we realized that the store and sales person were wrong. We also did some research including calling the store again where they checked the floor model and realized it had a foundation. This time the store tried to make up for their mistake and was getting a foundation delivered with the mattress. When delivery day came we got a text message that morning at 6 am letting us know they weren’t going to be able to deliver it and they had rescheduled the delivery for the next day. This means we would have to take another day off from work for their mistakes. So instead of dealing with Ashley Furniture anymore we decided to go to a different store and get the same mattress for 1/3 the price. The whole point of this is to be careful when buying anything for Ashley Furniture because it will take them either a month to deliver your furniture or you might never get it. Also they will try to make it your fault for not asking questions and constantly calling to check on the status of your order.

I purchased furniture from Ashley HomeStore from their Ocala showroom and while the purchase process went well the follow-up customer service has been abysmal. If I had to do it again I wouldn't purchase furniture from Ashley Homestore. My Savesto sectional has a number of issues including a small cut in the fabric on an end piece and a slight pucker/bulging seam on an armless piece. The Ashley technician dispatched to my home was unable to fix these problems and told me these flaws are acceptable deviations which they are not. Plus, the incompetent technician failed to take pictures of these issues and properly document the deviations. Now, Ashley will dispatch another technician for repair of these issues instead of simply delivering new sectional pieces to my house. It's been a real nightmare dealing with Ashley Homestore customer service after the sale. Ashley Homestore does not honor their warranty.

Store in Ocala Florida doesn’t enclose all charges on a purchase, charged 180.00 for delivery charge , I didn’t ask, guess I should have, my mistake, would have not gone on with the deal. And also $149.99 on 10 year adjustable BasePro Plan , which nothing was even talked about. Plus mattress was way more expensive than what we wanted to pay. We went back in the next day and cancelled the order. Happy

He also must have a girlfriend named Brittany that seems to be the office manager cuz they are very tight they treat customers terribly very condescending we went in to try to make a deal on a sofa and side chair and side table and we're talk down to like we were pieces of dirt and like we were stupid don't go to this furniture store pick any place but here even big lots
A lot of nice (and expensive) things. Sales people can be a bit pushy but friendly nonetheless. I plan on buying a comfy couch in the near future and will probably be back. Cozy mic & match pieces and a great 5 year warranty option sound promising.

My friend Francis Wargo has an Uplift chair that he purchased in December. We are staying with them and the lift has stopped. He needs a repairman to come out and the soonest is a week away...next Tuesday the 21st. He called Corporate and the lady could Not do anything! Really disappointed in the Customer Service from your Company! .

Needed to return a defective electric fireplace and after a few phone calls during the very busy New Year time, Ashley Furniture solved the issue and I received a refund. I was upset at first but know it was a very busy time, so all is well.

We were definitely lied to about the protection plan that we bought. We were told that the couches we bought would be covered for anything that happened to the couches stains rips ect. that is NOT the case we have a stain on one of the couches and we have been told that it is not covered. There goes $179.99

I didn't have a very good experience with them. I had ordered a sofa and a sofa table. The sofa was fine but the sofa table was damaged. I said something when it was delivered. When I got on the phone to talk with Ashley the delivery people just drove away. I didn't even sign for it. I had to wait until the next day to then schedule a technician to come out and see what the damages were. After that they sent out another one and that was damaged. They ordered another one. When that was delivered that to was damaged. Six weeks later from the first delivery I call and said that's enough and that I have already had to wait for them to deliver a damaged sofa table or a technician four days now. I just wanted my money back. They said they don't do refunds. I had charged the sofa table to my American Express card. I call AMEX and told them what happened and that I wanted to dispute the charge. They got my money refunded. Ashley came out and picked upthr sofa table. I will never buy from them again.

We were at this store the past Wed and Fri both times for over 45 minutes and we were never approached by a sales person. Yesterday we had a question about the sale they were running. We approached 2 salesmen sprawled out on a sofa and a chair. The guy never even stood up when my husband was asking him questions. He just continued to slouch on the sofa. We just moved to this area and will be buying all new furniture, I've bought from Ashley many times in the past in other states. Not this time. There are many other furniture stores and I will go to one where the staff can at least get off their butt when talking to a customer.
Emptied my entire room for a delivery that took over 2 weeks for a premade piece, it arrives missing pieces and now ive lost a day of work and will require another for them when they decide theyd like to be reliable. Nice pieces, horrid service. At this point im out more than the bed costs from the time ive had wasted.
This store, and the staff are amazing! Our circumstances were somewhat unique, and we needed more than the average customer in the way of assistance. Our representative Ellie could not have been more helpful. I changed my mind more than once, and she took it in stride with a lovely attitude. She went out of her way, above and beyond, and went to extraordinary measures to make sure that our purchase went smoothly, and that we were completely satisfied with everything. The highest recommendation is not enough, this lady is awesome. You can’t go wrong with the quality and diversity of products in this huge store. Ask for “ Ellie”!

Damaged sofa threshold delivered. Told I accepted damaged sofa. IT WAS WRAPPED! 48 hr wait for “technician” to advise on tear in fabric. Disabled senior citizen now sitting on floor. Worst experience ever! Will pass word along especially to older folks. UPDATE: Technician can’t get here till October 9th! No choice but to use damaged couch. Also salesman telling a disabled senior citizen that installation of legs on bottom of sofa is very easy when there are no pre-drilled holes, no guides, and no mention of 3” screws I can’t get in is unethical to say the least. I would have opted for different service had I known. Still spreading the word to community.

This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had in purchasing furniture! I paid cash for a bedroom set and waited for the delivery, after they delivered it, they didn't complete the assembly. I had to call several times to finally be treated with complete disrespect and told that they would not send a team out to complete the assembly. I have wasted weeks on this and still don't have my furniture put together. I have never been more disappointed. Do not waste your time, there are way better furniture stores that actually care.
If I could give less stars then one I would. Please dont waste your time . I ordered a bedroom set paid them to put it together. They delivered it didnt put it together. They didnt leave any directions so I could put it together. now they say it will be another 2 weeks before they can come out. When I called the store the manager acted as if I was at fault and played the victim. They refined my delivery and told me I should be happy. Please dont spend any money with them.

My husband and I went into Ashley not really knowing exactly what we were looking for for our bedroom. We were so lucky to have Ellie as our sales person. She helped us figure it out and went out of her way to make it the best experience we've ever had shopping for furniture. She was so patient and attentive. Worst experience with a purchase I have ever had. The bunk bed I purchased was missing parts and I was told from customer service that they would notify me within 24 hours of the shipping status. I never received a call so I called the store and explained to a girl named Brittany what happened and she promised to call me back that same day, guess what, no call from her either. 2 days after that I called the store again and Brittany answered so I demanded to speak to the store manager at that point, Brittany gave me excuses saying that she needed more info on what is going on before she could get me over to her store manager. After being on hold for 5 minutes she comes back and tells me her store manager is "too busy to talk to me". I was also told by Caitlin or Courtney from the front desk that I couldn't get a refund because they used an "E signature" from when I visited the store to acknowledge the delivery that was made (which is illegal) but Courtney said it isn't, and I confirmed with another Ashley's employee that she was wrong for saying that. The details are scattered and other things missing, but ultimately long story short don't buy from here, their customer service was amazing when we walked in to buy, but has been a nightmare ever since.

0 star if I could give to this Ashley location for dishonest to their customers. My husband and I went to look for dinning chairs and bar stools and the salesman even helped us measuring the height of the stool, which is 29-ish" and so we agreed to get 3 of them along with the dining chairs. At the checkout, the salesman quickly went over the orders (without telling how many inches of the bar stool) such as: 4 dinning chairs and 3 bar stools. We trusted him or I shall say we trusted the Ashley brand and so we made the purchase without hesitation. Everything was fine up till when we received the package, bar stool is now 24". I called the customer service and found out that Ashley in Gainesville has to solve that issue. I called Ashley in Gainesville asking for an exchange, however, the manager with the voice of accusing us for the agreement purchase those 24" height that we signed the contract and not willing to exchange them. There isn't anywhere on the invoice stated the height of the stools, or how do we supposed to understand the code numbers when we're just the buyers, perhaps they forgot who was the person entering the wrong code? I asked if she can go through the cameras footage to see the situation, she said there's none cameras in the store. (?) This is my first experience with Ashley store and last, although I like the Ashley brand, won't recommend anyone using Ashley in Gainesville where scamming is their best.

We purchased a couch from Ashley's Furniture in Ocala about 6 months ago, the sales associate we worked with was great. However, when it came to the day of delivery the driver was supposed to be there between 5-6 pm, they did not show up until nearly 11 pm! As mentioned above, we have had the couch for only about 6 months and it is already falling apart! We are very careful with it but it is tearing, you can feel board separating, and you can feel the staples in the arm rest. Needless to say, if you want good quality or even quality to match the price that is being charged. It's best to find another furniture store. Ashley's Furniture has terrible products.
This was the first time my Nonna and I have been into Ashley, and we had a superb experience. We were not expecting to buy anything when we came in, but we did. Their sales associate Saul was the greatest help! He was able to find everything, with complete kindness and no pushy ness, we were desiring; and was able to hook us up with great deals. I was in the store 30 minutes and passed by several sales persons including a manager without anyone even acknowledging me. Stopped at the service desk and was ignored there as well. What made this experience worse was that a sales person walked right past me to ask an elderly woman if she needed help. The elderly woman only needed to use the restroom. That same sales person walked past me again without saying a word! I walked out and made my purchase online. If there were a different store that sold the same product I would have bought elsewhere because of this experience. Mind you I was not dressed to impress and had two kids in tow. I can't help but to think that this was the reason I was passed up several times. I had money to spend and needed quite a bit of furniture due to just buying a brand new home. I went to a furniture store not far from Ashley (Rooms to Go) for the rest of my purchases and received great service!
If you visit the new store in Ocala, find Ellie ! She made my furniture purchase a breeze! I am not a good shopper but with Ellie's expert help, knowledege of the inventory, and a "real feel" for what my needs were, we were able to complete my purchase with no problems and my 23 pieces of Furniture will be delivered right on time for my renters to arrive! Thanks Ellie!
Stay clear of this place! I ordered 2 accent tables and it took me a month to get them! Both tables were damaged when they were delivered. Now they are telling me it will be almost another month until they can get out to repair them. I called the store and asked for at least some type of discount due to the inconvenience and was told I'm out of luck! They did not care about my buisness one bit. I'm purchasing a home this year and guess who won't be getting my buisness! Ashely does not stand behind their products! If you attempt to call the main headquarters they tell you to call the store where you purchased it!

Buying furniture is always a pain, and stressful. Having moved across the country a few times and still financing furniture I'll never see again I can't say I was exactly excited to be doing it again. My apprehension wasn't necessary though, and the salesman, Saul, was more than happy to listen to my concerns and work with us on pricing, financing, and weighing every option patiently. We took. . a long time to decide and not once did he get impatient. It was so refreshing not being rushed or pressured. We left confident in our decision, and happy with how everything turned out. Ashley will always be my first choice for furniture shopping.

Great supply of furniture for any room as well as outdoor this specific store has a warm and inviting atmosphere and friendly staff was asked frequently if I could be helped or told anything and it made the experience go much more smoothly and was able to find some furnishings I loved that worked for me.

I received a brand new out of the box from the factory swivel/rocker chair. This chair had multiple damages that I didn't see until after the driver left. By the way Ashley sent one man on 16 + deliveries in 100 degree weather. ONE MAN ONLY!!! When the service man arrived to repair this NEW CHAIR, he put the ASHLEY REP. on the phone with me. She proceeded to inform me that Ashley would not replace this chair; it's brand new!!!! She was rude and disrespectful to me as she explained "their policy!!" WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY HOMESTORE! THEY WILL NOT REPLACE A BRAND NEW PIECE OF FURNITURE, ONE THAT CAME DEFECTIVE FROM THEIR FACTORY. ASHLEY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR NAME AND THEY DON'T CARE HOW THEIR WARRANTY STAFF COMMUNICATE TO THEIR VALUED CUSTOMERS!!!! Their sales staff were very nice, but the company itself doesn't care about their customers! NO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!
Bought a bed and foundation in March. The wrong foundation was delivered but we were told it would be changed out. The second foundation took almost 3 months to get and is still the wrong one. We were told by the store it was what we needed. We have a king mattress and they sent us a Cal. King foundation. The foundation is too long and too narrow. The mattress was marked as a firm incorrectly in the store and after researching it ourselves found out it was not. The store admits it was marked wrong but refuse to exchange it. I would just like to have what I paid for. Unsatisfied to the max. This was my last attempt with the store and giving them the opportunity to make it right. On to claims court.
This STORE has terrible service and does not back their product. Didn't deliver on time or the correct product. We paid cash for a mattress and an adjustable foundation. When we received the mattress it had been marked in the store as firm pillow top but it was soft. They refused to replace because that was my mistake. They delivered the wrong foundation. Then over the next 2 months made 3, 4, or 5 appointments to deliver what was ordered and paid for. Only to show up with a California King when we had purchased a King Mattress they said "Oh that's what you need!!!" Now I have a foundation that is not as wide as the mattress we purchased. So the sides are not supported which will eventually lead to the breakdown of the mattress walls. Ashley Furniture store and Corporate will do NOTHING TO RECTIFY THEIR MISTAKES!!! Please do not buy anything from this store or company. NOT GOOD BUSINESS.
Had a great experience at the store. Was greeted when walked in and they weren't pushy. The delivery men were awesome they were early and very respectful of my house. I wasn't exactly 100% sure were i wanted the furniture. I had a few places in mind the placed it all spots till i was like ya thats it. Didn't complain or nothing. They were very helpful. I have ordered furniture before from other places and have had horrible experiences with the delivery men. Not this time.. I was very pleased.

All I can say is that I will never purchase another thing from Ashley again! The sales person was great but it was all down hill once we received our delivery. They left behind 1 piece of our 3 piece sectional at the warehouse and our dining room table came damaged. We refused the table and it took 2 weeks to get the missing piece of the sectional and new table. The table they delivered the second time was the wrong one so yet again we had to send it back and wait for a third delivery. Oh and the chairs and benches for the dining room set that we were originally told would be delivered on 7/3 were delayed until 7/15 and had my husband not called about the problem with our first delivery we would never have known this because they just happened to mention it during that conversation. What? No courtesy call to let us know they would be later than expected? When my husband raised a stink because we planned a gathering for the holiday thinking we would have enough seating, magically they became available again on the 3rd. Worst customer service ever!
A little high priced
Worst experience ever. You pay $140 for delivery TO YOUR HOUSE for them to stop at a gas station and leave because they couldn't find your address and I had to reschedule after waiting over 1 month for my furniture. First and last time buying from there.

Second time buying from ashley furniture. This time they sold us one thing and told us we were getting another. Then we get our delivery, it's either broken or missing pieces. Then they dont want to do anything once its accepted in to the home. Not going back again. Update: neither the store, nor customer care will do anything to correct my situation. There is also a "no return" policy. So I was told I was getting one thing and received another. And because i signed for it, they wont do anything to help.

Well we purchase a new Living Room set, the sales Rep at the store was great and make us feel like a family. After that it has been a nightmare, when we received the delivery one peace of the future was broken, they had to schedule another delivery and we added another peace but they couldn't deliver them together, now the new peace was broken too and now we don't know how long we have to wait to have a complete living room set. We are very disappointed with this after spending over$4,500 in this store...
Boring Over Priced Fancy Furniture
My wife and I purchased a sectional last weekend for our new home. Something we’ve saved up for for quite some time. The sales guy, Eric was great. However, after leaving the store we were called back twice to complete paperwork which the store missed. At no time did anyone go over the paperwork or what we were signing off on. The sectional was delivered this past Wednesday by two gentlemen who spoke little English. After unwrapping the sectional and setting it up in our living room, it was too large. The cuddler part of the couch protruded into our dining area leaving little to no walkway to the front door. The delivery guy called a lady from the delivery department who asked if I was happy with the delivery which I was, however I said I believe it’s too large and I’d have to converse with my wife when she got home from work. The lady asked if I was accepting or rejecting the delivery. She said if I reject it, then the guys would have to take back the entire couch which wasn’t necessary. After the delivery guy hung up the phone, I asked him if I accept the delivery can my wife or I call the store once she gets home if we want to swap out parts of the sectional for another (make it fit our living room). The guy said not a problem. He pointed at the two pieces of sectional and said we can pick these up when the new part gets delivered. Right before he left, he handed me his phone and told me to sign. (Not telling me what I was signing for) My wife and I called the store that night and talked with the store manager in the Ocala FL store and she said if we signed for the delivery there’s nothing they could do. We’re stuck with the couch. I explained everything to her and she said she would email the delivery department and get the delivery guys statement. (This shouldn’t be a word v. word issue) She said she would call me the next day with an update. I called the store around 11am the next day and the office manager said the only person to talk with was the store manager and she wouldn’t be back till Saturday. The store also said I could call corporate but when I do that, they tell me to call the store. There’s nobody above the store who can help us out. The customer service has been poor. I thought my wife and I would have had a good experience since we’ve heard nothing but good things about AFHS. All we’re asking is to swap out the two pieces of sectional with a right armrest loveseat and move on with our lives. My wife is also pregnant with our first child who’s due in a couple months. This has been stressful on both of us. We hope AFHS can work with us.

This is the 4th (FOURTH) time I take my day off to get the furniture delivered. The store has been putting the wrong orders. ABSURD!!! Even the delivery guy said that this is screwed up, and that they are not taking this as a priority: Ashley Furniture: are you going to pay me for all the days I've taken off!? INFURIATING!!!!!
Way over priced
They have great furniture. A bit overpriced, but I assume that it is great quality. So that is understandable. My issue is the order delivery. We bought a bed with storage. That means that it is supposed to come with a foundation (we bought the mattress desperately). So got the furniture delivered. It looked like there wasn't a foundation on the bed. We asked the guys if that was it and they said yes. We sign (we've never bought a bed and we did not know what a foundation looked like). We put the mattress on and it didn't work. We call the furniture store and they said that the bed actually doesn't come with a foundation, but they'll send us a foundation. We get the foundation and it turns out that it's a foundation for a queen, not the king bed. We are now waiting to get the king foundation. We're trying to understand, but we've been without a bed for about a month. This is starting to get frustrating. This would be a good time to apply a discount.

Apparently the online specials do not apply to the store. I found a sofa online at one price, but could not place the order in the size I wanted. I was told I had to come into the store - that they would not take phone orders. The store had the same item at a higher price. They gave me a bogus story why they couldn't honor the online advertised price. Then charged me $70 for delivery and set up. Online, I could waive this charge because it did not need setup. It was a sofa. However, the store would not let me waive that charge.Deceptive advertising and storeroom tactics.
Furniture here is cheap crap but I needed a sofa to show a place. They charged me $70 to deliver and took 3 weeks to do so. When I got home I saw the couch was on sale for $250 less than what I paid with free delivery which would have cost me $320 less. I called the corporate office which was horrible. It took me 39 minutes to get the right person on the line who told me all she could do is send an email to their regional store and have them call me which they never did. Cannot get a person on the phone to price match this for me and it appears they have no willingness to do so. I have to fully furnish 3 more places this summer and will definitely be taking my business elsewhere as they have deceptive pricing and no customer service.
My wife and I really like this store and this brand of furniture. Highly recommend that you stop by and have a look. You will probably find something you like, and the prices are very reasonable.
Beware Ashley Furniture in Ocala has beyond aweful customer service and slip shot sales. Without going into the numerous issues just understand they will tell you, you need certain items (ie. a $269 mattress cover… too slick to keep any sheets on it and can't be used) to keep the warrantee in place ( not true). There is no exchange nor refund policy on anything so you better like the bed in store. There is no upper mgmt. to speak with. I got 3 numbers all leading back to having to deal with the local manager. If you write to the Wisconsin mgmt. They will direct it back to the local mgr. They delivered the wrong bed and then got it right but the sales person misled us on which adjustable base we were getting. After a few weeks I could get another for another $200. When they delivered it, two non english speaking men were arguing with each other about taking the old one back and wanted to leave. Not to mention I spent all day waiting for them. Then when they left half of my bed raised and the other did not. I immediately called the store and they said they would come back after their next stop. 2 hours later they hadnt shown up, I called the store and she said she'd call and see what was going on. 45 min. later I called the store to have the girl say they were supposed to call me and wont be able to come back, now 6:45 and we waited all day and had to miss our concert. The customer service girl even said… what do you want me to do come to your house and figure it out. Needless to say no one in the store could get on the phone and help me figure out what was wrong. I was so angry my husband and I picked the bed up and figured it out ourselves. Then 2 days later a guy calls today to ask if our bed was fixed? Really. Beware of Ashley they are salespeople that do not care about the customer once they get their sale. My suggestion go to City Furniture much better service all around!
We had Savannah this past Saturday (04/13/19) and she was great. She was very knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. She answered all of our questions and took her time with us. We will definitely buy from her again.

This is what separates professional sales vs order TAKERS & relational vs transactional: I have a $600 delivery from Ashley furniture and about a $5,000 delivery from Rooms To Go... READY? Here we go... Ashley furniture calls to make sure that my delivery window is good and works for me, followed up buy a phone call from my saleslady wanting to make sure everything is good as well. Rooms To Go... CRICKETS, NADA NO WORD BEFORE DELIVERY, OR AFTER DELIVERY FROM THE MANAGER NOR THE SALESWOMAN remember this order was almost $5,000! I will add that Rooms To Go sales manager never shook hands, never said thank you nothing! ( I guess I really didn't need to add this but I thought I'd proved yet another point) 💪 Here's the funny part (not really funny) it took RTG two times to deliver a undamaged dining room table!😱 But yet again, Rooms To Go never followed up with a phone call to ask how the initial delivery went didn't even care to follow up even when they got it wrong 2X! I will say shout out to Rooms To Go for being consistent!👊 ASHLEY FURNITURE core values: Appreciation, everybody is important! (I am sure that there are people that had issues with Ashley) It's been my experience that Rooms To Go are greedy thankless and do not care on any level. I only say this because it's been over a month and no phone call nothing! Oh I forgot to add KAT made sure I had the furniture protection program EVEN ON MY DESK! YOU GO GIRL! 👌🌞

Thought new store was nice and employees were helpful, but they would not sell us chairs already in store, so we waited for 4 week delivery. Shortly after delivery we discovered both chairs were very overstuffed and unlike the one in the store. They were not comfortable to sit on. We immediately went to store to talk to salesperson thinking maybe we had been given the wrong model (or something) and asked if we could either get some of the stuffing removed (or better yet) let us trade the new ones for those in the store. In fact, I offered them both "new" chairs for just one in the store but she said she could not do that and she referred me to "her manager". He promptly came over and after hearing our story he asked if I had signed for them upon delivery. I replied that I had so he then said, you signed, so they are yours. We can't/won't do anything . Don't let their friendly sales pitch fool you, they do not deserve any business.
Buyer beware! After a terrible in-store visit to the new Ocala location, complete with associates unsure of what was in stock, where specific items were located in the store, and computers that didn’t work for several hours, I purchased a table. They informed me that the only options were to have the table delivered in pieces, or pay $160+ to have someone come and set it up for me. I chose the delivery. Even though I was told that I would receive tracking information for my package, I never did. I called the national Ashely HomeStore customer service as well as the Ocala store for information over several days. Both locations informed me that a tracking number did not yet exist because my package had not yet been shipped. Surprise! My package showed up at my door the same day that the Ocala store informed me that it had not yet been shipped. The package showed up dented and ripped, and the table inside had scratched, dented, and gashed wood. Additionally, the craftsmanship of the table is also poor. The nails are sticking out of the wood (dangerous), and the wood is rough in several places. After hauling the table back to the store, we were informed that we were stuck with the table. This store does not accept returns, even for damaged products. They offered to send someone out to “determine if the table was damaged” and “replace damaged pieces.” A table has 5 parts: a table and 4 legs. The table is completely damaged. I’d rather shop at IKEA than go back to Ashley HomeStore.
Poor service. Incredibly slow and inattentive. And refuses give returns or refunds on anything including damaged products.

Ashley’s is one of my favorite stores. Bought lots of quality furniture for my son’s home. The entire staff is professional, keeping in mind what’s best for their customers. I especially liked the mattress section where they evaluate what’s the best bed for your body mass to offer the most comfort. Superb selection of accessories too!
We went to Ashley because we have made previous purchases at other locations and were pleased with their customer service, delivery, and quality. Having a new store in our Ocala area is great. Today we were assisted by an associate, Barbara, who went out of her way to fulfill our requests. We are looking forward to our order delivery in a few days and will certainly return to Ashley for future purchases.

After finally getting a store in our area.. I went into the store to purchase a sectional. They offer the sectional online but it’s been on backorder so I wanted to see what they had in store that I could get sooner. After wandering around the store for 20 minutes not a single person wanted to help me so I left.

A very comfortable and relaxing store to shop. The employees any friendly and helpful when you need them.
