I have been looking for Patio furniture for our new home. Today we stop by Ashley’s in Ocala meet with a friendly salesman and after looking around we decided to make a purchase. After thinking about this transaction we were not comfortable with what we choose so we called that salesperson back. Upon answering the phone I Conveyed to the sales person I was not totally comfortable with this purchase and wanted to cancel. He rudely told me to call the one 800 number to cancel the order and hung up on me. Never will shopped at Ashely’s again.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been beyond frustrating. To start on a positive note, our sales representative, Levi, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and made the in-store experience smooth and easy. If this review were based on him alone, it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, everything after the purchase has been a complete disaster. We purchased our furniture in February, and before we even received it, the issues started. Our delivery was delayed nearly three weeks, all the way to March 10th. That should have been the first red flag. Almost immediately after delivery, we noticed quality issues. I reported the problem right away and provided everything requested—photos, serial numbers, and details—within five days. Despite actively working with their team, they attempted to fall back on a three-day reporting cutoff, which is completely unreasonable. From there, the customer service experience only deteriorated. I was told parts would ship within 7–10 business days. That never happened. There was no tracking information, no proactive communication, and no follow-through. Now I’m being told that a full resolution may not happen until the end of April at the earliest—and even then, they are only offering to send one chair in the meantime. After spending a significant amount of money, I’m expected to wait months with defective and incomplete furniture. To be clear, I do not want replacements. I want a full refund and for the company to pick up their defective product. My pregnant wife is currently sitting on the floor because of this situation, which is completely unacceptable. What’s most disappointing isn’t just the product quality—it’s the lack of accountability and communication. It feels like once they have your money, you’re on your own. For anyone reading this: expect a generic response from the company to this review. It will likely sound helpful, but based on my experience, it will not lead to a real solution. That is part of the problem—these responses create the appearance of customer care without actual resolution. If this company truly stands behind its brand, they need to make this right immediately by issuing a full refund and removing their defective furniture from my home. Until then, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
