I had one of the worst experiences shopping at Ashley Furniture. My boyfriend and I spent $3,600 on a couch, and while the initial purchase went smoothly, the delivery process was a nightmare. First, the signage in the store was misleading. The pictures showed the entire couch, but the prices only reflected the cost for a two-seater or three-seater. When it came time for delivery, I scheduled it for Saturday, February 22, and received a confirmation text stating I would get a delivery window two days prior. However, I never received that notification. After reaching out to the sales representative, I checked the delivery link, which now indicated a rescheduled delivery for Thursday, February 27. I was never informed about this change. The sales lady kept saying it was odd and promised to update me the next day, but I heard nothing. When I followed up, she mentioned she had emailed to request a later delivery around 4 PM, but she made it clear that none of this was guaranteed. I arranged for someone to be at our home to sign for the couch. Then, I received a text confirming delivery for Friday, February 28. Frustrated, I didn't bother contacting the sales lady again. When I called customer care, I was told I had never been scheduled for either of the days I had confirmation for, only the Friday. This was infuriating, especially since I had confirmation texts and had spoken with a representative on Monday, February 24, who confirmed the Thursday date. Finally, when the delivery team arrived, they were an hour and a half early for the scheduled time of 12 PM to 3 PM. I directed them on where to set up the couch, but they set it up backwards. When I politely pointed this out, they rudely responded that they would fix it. Overall, the sales representative seemed more interested in making a commission than providing quality service. This entire experience was so disappointing that we will not shop at Ashley Furniture again. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I have had good experiences past. However, I recently purchased a TV stand from Ashley HomeStore, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The stand was sold *as is* since it was a showroom piece, which I was fine with—until the delivery team arrived. While setting it up, they did not assemble it correctly, causing it to fall and get scratched in multiple places. When I contacted customer service, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. Since the stand was sold *as is*, I would now have to cover the cost of repairing the damage *they* caused during setup. It’s disappointing that Ashley HomeStore takes no responsibility for their delivery team’s negligence, leaving me stuck with a damaged product and extra expenses. If you're thinking about purchasing from here, especially showroom pieces, be aware that if something goes wrong during setup, you might be on your own. Definitely not the level of service I expected.

I was very pleased with my dining room table & chairs purchase. Abby was very helpful. When the items were delivered, the truck only had 5 of the 8 chairs I purchased. I contacted Abby and she followed up and the remaining chairs will be delivered next week.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. While the members of the sales team are helpful. I ordered online over two weeks ago. I was told that my local store would have to deliver and they only deliver to youngstown on Saturdays my delivery was set for today. I called over 4 times and the automatic message said my delivery would be today. They never came all for me to try 4 additional times and be rerouted over and over again to be told my order has a hold and that everything is closed now. I plan to call again tomorrow but at this point everything seems very scammy and I'm just about over trying to get my order and even if it's resolved I still have to wait at least a week when they couldn't even bother to call and I know my order came in to the store. But companies only seem to care when they get a bad review so here ya go.

The communication while making our purchase was clear and Vivian sought out answers to questions I had regarding delivery that she didn’t know immediately. We were informed of details about the power reclining couch we were interested in purchasing and walked through the purchasing and delivery process. She was also friendly and approachable when welcoming us into the store. She let us explore and checked in regularly to answers any questions we had.

When I visited the store today Ms.Vivian was the first to welcome me with a big smile and ask if there was anything she could help me with. We bought the Genoa Leather living set (Queen Sleeper Pullout sofa) Double sized chair and Ottoman. It was advertised as genuine top grain leather ... We received it and it was painted faux leather, we specifically asked our salesman if it was genuine leather and they assured us it was before delivery so we had no problem paying $3,000 for the set. What we got was what you expect to get at Aarons rent a center or Walmarts pleather section. Not to mention our sofa was damaged by the delivery people when we alerted Ashley the Sofa was damaged the used the "Warranty" we purchased to try and schedule a repair. Bad experience false advertising so do not go there...By the way paid cash and when told them we wanted to return it they advised me they wouldn't pay me back in the form I paid but will put a check in the mail and I should receive it in 10 business days hahaha so don't waste your money. Read the add for the set below when I said you guys advertise this as leather they said I misunderstood...

I went in to Ashley’s today to look for a love seat and mattress. Neil said hello when I walked into the store and asked if I needed any assistance. I told him what I was looking for and he explained about the love seats and where the mattress area was and would not hover but would be available for questions or help. I found what I wanted and told Neil and he could not have been more helpful in getting the paperwork done. He was patient and very professional.

I’m giving this 1 star review not to the salesperson Vivian but to the store and the store manger because I bought a mattress from them a month ago told me it would be a week I called the number provided it was corporate not the actual store they told me the mattress was in the warehouse and hasn’t been delivered so I waited 3 more weeks they finally called me and said it would be there I waited 2 more days called corporate to see when I could pick up and they said hasn’t been picked up but sales told me it did so I went in the store talked to the store manager and he blamed everyone except himself and his store for not having it in sooner when it was sitting in the warehouse for 3 weeks blamed it on the salesperson, the snow ( which it snowed in tuesday melted by friday which he told me they only deliver on fridays so that couldnt ve the problem) but even so he had 3 weeks to get it in. So if you need your furniture in a reasonable time DONT GO HERE! Piss Poor management!

Store experience was great. But delivery experience was horrible. First they charged 249.00 for delivery we waited 1 month for 2 electric recliners delivery day the delivery guy walked into the house eating a slice of pizza they set up the chairs all until we were informed they only had 1 cord. Sorry we will have to ship you the other cord then told us it will take 7-10 days and no they can’t expedite for sooner delivery. Needless to say we were not happy. Called to see if they could expedite but got sorry it is already ordered. $249.00 for delivery and no power cord to make recliner to recline. Was offered nothing for there mistake. Just sorry you have to wait. So we are not happy.

She greeted us at the door, walked us around and asked what we liked & what we had in mind. She was extremely knowledgeable of everything & answers all of our questions! We felt the pricing was fair but they pushed for us to take advantage of the one year no interest rates so we did. We were shopping for a house that was being built and told them we were looking to buy in 9 months. They said no worries the payments don’t start until you receive the furniture. I specifically asked when the 0% started and they said when we get the furniture. We received the furniture and had a few issues with delivery. Three months after we had the $16k worth of furniture we got charged $1,400 in interest. Call the store and salesmen and was told NO it starts when you place the order. Completely lied to us. We wouldn’t have used the 0% had we known and would have just waited 9 months and paid then. Don’t trust Christopher or management in this store. Once you sign they don’t care about customer service.

Nice selection for a small store. Vivian greeted my friend and I immediately as we walked in the store. We were shopping for my friends new home and Vivian was extremely helpful. She didn’t bother, us which we appreciated, but checked with us often to answer any questions. I found the sectional I wanted on their website so I called my local store ( Panama City location ) to inquire more about it and spoke with Abby. She was very friendly and very helpful. I wasn’t ready to order right then; as I had to verify my new flooring installation first, so I would call back in a few days. Shortly after ending the call with Abby she texted me and stated if I had any more questions I could reach out to her, I was very impressed with that kind gesture. The owner replied, "So I will update." The reason for 1 start is simple. The staff did not seem interested in helping as soon as we walked in. The furniture is overpriced.. and worst of all It looks exactly like the furniture in Big Lots... ended up spending close to 5k on furniture from another store..

Christopher Murphy helped my wife and I shop for a fairly large amount of furniture. We initially stopped by the store ~3 months ago to just browse the store and see what caught our eye and spoke with him about what we wanted, we decided to come back at a later date to finalize some shopping. After coming back to the store after a brief re-introduction he remembered us and picked up exactly where we left off. I greatly appreciate being helped, not sold and that is exactly what he did. He understood our desires and gave great input and insight even if it pushed us to a smaller price tag. Was also very knowledgeable of his field giving us great insight into attributes about furniture or benefits of different models over others that we would have never thought of inquiring about. TL;DR: If you want to be helped without feeling like you are being drained for every penny have Christopher help us. We had a very pleasant visit with Aaron Wise. Ashley furniture was our second attempt to find a couch, After conveying to him what we wanted, he showed us three couches that were right up our alley. We left and visited four more stores. We came back and bought the couch from Aaron, it was the best price and the best fit for us. Everyone was pleasant, especially Aaron. This is the second couch we have bought from Ashley, The last one we had for 12 years. I know for a fact that the service department was very Diligent when we had issues with the previous couch. They fixed it in a timely manner. I would recommend if you need any type of home furnishing to go to Ashley, and ask for Aaron.

On Nov 24 I purchased sofa, I paid 1733. Cash, delivery was scheduled for Dec 13 (I took off work for this delivery) after waiting all day I received a call from Ashley saying they are unable to deliver due to at the previous stop their truck got stuck, after several calls and much frustration another delivery was scheduled for Dec 16, after waiting the 3 hr window given I received a call saying they were unable to deliver due to my dirt road being wet. (I live 1/2 mile down a dirt road maintained by the county) although their was a light sprinkle the road was not wet or slippery. I explained this is ridiculous, and frustrating, I have been with out furniture for 4 days. This was the worst purchase I have made. I am currently waiting on a call back for a refund. They lost this customer due to their inability to deliver the furniture with 2 scheduled delivery dates. Buyer be ware, don't waste your time with this company.

You know, I really wanted to give a great review to Ashley but unfortunately due to 6 attempts to deliver the right merchandise and uncompensated damage to my home I gave up. My wife and I spent a little over $20k with this company in one day. The customer service before the sale was great, afterwards not so much. It was for a 2nd home in Panama City. They delivered the wrong items 6 times and damaged our home before they finally got it right. We had to travel over 8 hours to meet them every time they scheduled the delivery and failed to get it right. I pleaded to my salesman and even the store manager for help and then compensation for the damage and got nothing but promises they had no intention of keeping. All i can say is they lost our business. Liddon Furniture was a much better experience when we furnished another property recently. Anyway, buyer beware. It’s smoke and Mirrors.

Christopher (Chris) Murphy was an amazing sales associate. After visiting 5 other furniture stores and either not finding something that fit our design/style or being overwhelmed by sale driven associates, my Wife and I were over the whole process and defeated. Chris was very kind as soon as we walked in, and I think he could tell we were tired and hopeless. He did not swarm us. He actually gave us space to browse and discuss options and opinions together. As soon as he left we saw a bed that fit our ideas and got hopeful. We wondered the store and had 3 great choices, for beds and couches. I actually thought Chris forgot about us and mentioned his name in conversation, as i did he "just happened" 😉😉 to walk by to answer our question 😆. He insisted we try the furniture and take our time. From that point on, I noticed he was always near us, just wanted us to make ourselves comfortable and free to look at our own leisure. We found a bed frame, nightstands, and couch that we really liked (at a great price!). What sold me on these items was Chris's knowledge. Without looking at any of the tags, he knew the name of every product we mentioned along with additions/ matching items. He listened to the colors we were using in our house and helped us find a matching living room lift-top table that my wife loved, but was not on display at this location. It was a breath of fresh air to have such a great associate to work with and to have the freedom to look around without any additional pressure, especially since there were so many great options to weigh! At the very end, he showed us a great deal on a dining room table and chairs to match our furniture and told us end dates on current sale prices. I think we will be back visiting Chris again pretty soon 😅 Thank you for helping us decorate our 1st home!

I stepped into Ashley looking for a bedroom suit and sofa sleeper. Christopher met me at the door and helped me with my shopping. He was one of the best salesmen I have experienced. He allowed me the freedom to look freely but was there if I had questions. I found the furniture I was looking for and I will be back next time I need furniture.

When we walked into Ashley‘s, we were greeted by Neil, he asked If we were looking for any particular piece of furniture, when we advise, we weren’t nip please look around and if we need anything, please just let him know. It was really nice to not have somebody follow around, makes suggestive cells and allow us to look at our leisure, we did find a beautiful sofa and oversize Recliner and expressed our interest in purchasing these we reached out to Neil, who made sure that we were aware of what discounts also the financing that Ashley offers along with the protection plan and delivery now was very pleasant went over everything no pressure sales he also didn’t try to make any upsell. He did not sway as in any additional pieces of furniture. He went over our selection of furniture, and the quality and care of the product. We are very pleased that we made our selection at Ashley‘s and we were very impressed with Neil. After building a new home we needed some furniture. Our experience at the Panama City store was awesome. Our sales person, Christopher Murphy, was extremely knowledgeable but not pushy. On our first visit he showed us around and we wanted to go home to re-measure. He understood and asked that we contact him if we were coming back. We did and agreed to meet today. We bought what we wanted and Christopher was a champ. Thanks! It was also nice that the store manager Wes, took the time to speak with us and thank us for our business. Great experience, great store!

Just bought a coffee table from there 2 weeks ago. Kay, the associate that helped us, was super helpful and stayed in touch after we ordered the table. Was nice to have someone who really seemed to want to help us find the type of table we needed & wanted. Store had a really good selection of everything and the merchandise seemed to be a better quality than some of the other stores. Will definitely look there again, and hopefully have Kay as our assistant again.

Have been to the store in Panama City several times since moving. Staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Ordered several pieces, they'll be holding until our home is completed. It's a good idea to order several months (2 to 3) months ahead of time, your giving them a chance to get the items in without the hassle.

Please please please don’t waste your time here, I purchased a bedroom set over two thousand dollars and it did not hold up at all, this furniture is not real wood and will not last. On top of all the guys delivered my furniture let a hole in my wall and didn’t say a word, Wes the manager is not willing to Help me and pretty much don’t care, the lady at door refused to help as well, 23rd street store I experienced terrible customer service… My furniture was delivered split and no one is willing to help, please go somewhere else

I will say that delivery has not been the best as I was told one thing about receiving my furniture and now I’m having to wait yet another week from when I was told I would receive at least my partial order.
