Beautiful dining set and excellent delivery service. The dining set is heavy, solid and sturdy. The color is lovely and the fabric on the chairs is soft and pretty. The set looks elegant in our dining area. We waited about 4 weeks until the furniture came in. The delivery guys were friendly, quick and detailed.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at Ashley Furniture. We visited twice in the same week to take measurements and finalize our order, and the same salesperson helped us both times. Unfortunately, he was rude during both visits, which made the experience very uncomfortable. We ended up taking our business to Rooms To Go instead — and they were happy to help. Ashley lost a sale that should have been an easy win.

From choosing my furniture in the showroom to the delivery, everything was smooth and professional!

My in store experience was very good, sales staff very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting my chairs. The delivery was in the first 15 minutes of the delivery window, which is amazing. Delivery process seamless, both staff very friendly, set up chairs,tested the power functions,removed all trash, good experience.

The movers were amazing. I was disappointed that no one told me there is a delay in some of the furniture. I was told it was all in stock. I am going to have to arrange for someone to be here when the rest of the items are delivered .

My Wife and I went to Ashley Furniture for the 1st time to get a new mattress and Bedroom set up… Initially we chose a high end set which did not work out for us… We went back to cancel the order and our salesman Calvin immediately went to the store manager Anthony who spent over an hour we us and true to his word , found a better upgraded mattress and Headboard set up that is perfect. We are glad we found a very reputable company and personnel who honored their commitment to serve their customers well… Thank you Calvin and Anthony…

Everything from the moment I walked into the store all the way through the delivery process was top-notch! I am very very satisfied and very excited about my new living room set. Steven and Greg were so professional setting up our new bedroom set. The bed itself was a difficult design to assemble, but they worked together and completed the task. And the dresser was quite heavy, but they carefully worked as a team. Kudos to those two for a job well done!

I understand people need to make money but the salesmen are way too aggressive. It’s very uncomfortable. I just wanted to walk around the store with my husband and take a look at things without being followed so closely the entire time. We were trying sofas and I really didn’t like them. They felt like they were stuffed with tissue paper and they looked very cheap. The salesman made a comment along the lines of, I can see your very particular…um yes! If I’m about to spend a few thousand dollars on a sofa that I will be sitting on for years to come I have every right to be particular. You need to give people more space. I just wanted to get out of there asap.

This is not a corporate store FYI. They have their own weird financing and can’t really give you any good deals like normal Ashley Stores. Whoever we spoke to pretty much tried to gaslight my husband and I into opening a new credit card because it’s a “soft pull”. And I argued that it’s not just a soft pull, we know we’re gonna get approved therefore to open an account it would hard pull and we would now have some random credit card that only works there. Who would do that for 0 incentive??? And then when we have now become peeved at him he kept trying to tell us that “the only time you don’t open a credit card is when you’re purchasing a house”. Sir, 1. I know you’re not trying to give me financial advice, 2. We own house and know how it works so thank you for the irrelevant information, again still not opening your awful credit card. We have pretty much furnished an apartment and two homes with Ashley Furniture over the last 10 years. We drove up to Sarasota and purchased the exact couch we were looking at. Sad for whoever those tactics work on.

Terrible delivery service.The beds had a manufacturing default, they left parts laying on the floor and made us wait 3 days for another delivery to finish what they started. Customer service was terrible, would not recommend them for delivery orders.

Very disappointed with our experience. The sales associate failed to communicate accurately, and because of a miscommunication on the final transaction date, the deal fell through. They are keeping our $350 down payment, which may not be a large amount, but it’s the principle. We loved the couch we chose and could have easily gone back to pay cash for it, but we will not. The lack of accurate information and poor customer service have made it clear that we will never purchase anything from this store again. Because there’s no way to reply directly to your comment, I’m updating my review with my response. I have to be honest — your reply doesn’t reflect what actually happened. You weren’t there for the in-person visits we made or the phone calls we had with different people at your store. From our perspective, the situation played out very differently. Bringing up “multiple forms of payment” is misleading and comes across as if we couldn’t afford the purchase, which couldn’t be further from the truth. We had plenty of ways to pay. The real problem was being given information that turned out to be wrong. That’s why we walked away — it was about principle, not money. We ended up buying a more expensive sofa, coffee table, and end tables from Rooms To Go, where we had a great experience start to finish. Those pieces are arriving tomorrow. At the end of the day, we’re not going to keep going back and forth with you online. You made an extra $350 for absolutely nothing, and we’ll leave it at that. But please do not imply we didn’t have the money — your customer service was poor. Own it and move on. As someone who has been a business owner, this is not how I would typically respond to a negative review. I would have reached out to see what I could do to resolve the issue.

Over all, Bacon's Furniture/Ashley Furniture is a highly respected and professional company that strives for the perfect showroom experience and 'White glove' delivery service. The gentlemen that delivered our furniture were efficient and very careful with our home, walls and setting up our living room furniture. Unfortunately, there was a little damage to our entryway door frame when the heavy, reclining loveseat was brought through. I'm not worried about the damage because I know Bacon's Furniture is a responsible company and it will be fixed without hesitation. The rest of the delivery went as smooth as possible. We are extremely happy with our puchase experience with Craig Lyons, the Sales associate and Bacon's/Ashley Furniture. *We highly recommend visiting this showroom and talking with Craig.

My husband and I scheduled to have furntiure delivered on the day we arrived from our cross country trip from Wisconsin to Florida. The furniture was excellent quality and the delivery truck drivers were really great, however the table was chipped. We ended up having to leave the property we rented due to numerous issues we had; and our friend who lives about 30 minutes from the original delivery address was willing to store it for us until we find somewhere else to rent/buy. Ashley Bacon’s staff were understanding of the situation and truly did whatever they could do to help, including delivering a new kitchen table top to our friends residence for us. We had to come back to Wisconsin for the time being, and they have been in communication with us and so empathetic to our situation. Seriously such great staff. Just to name a few - customer service rep Sam, salesman William, Trevor, and Shane with the repair service just to name a few! Thank you so much for making a really stressful situation as painless as possible!

The guys did an AMAZING job setting up our new bed and even complimented us on how well it went with our lamps and drawer handles! Very observant!!!

Customer service in the store was good but extremely upset that we were lied to about the warranty protection we purchased. We were skeptical as we were sold a warranty previously for our furniture and It covered absolutely nothing but we were reassured that this warranty offered through Ashley’s covers the things we had concerns about. Well here we are almost a year later attempted to make a claim and got denied for over 18 different things we attempted to claim that we were told would be covered. Called Ashley’s and we were told that because we had a professional cleaning service come out that ruined our couch. BS. We have 3 broken pieces and we were told NOT COVERED. Ashley’s told us they’d charge us $80 to come access damages and give us a quote on repairs. Just another scam by another furniture store. Your furniture is not quality and neither is the warranty you sell people. Just a way to make an upsell and screw people. So sad, We most defiantly will never purchase another thing from ashley’s.

Our sales lady Mary Lou was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately the delivery drivers weren’t friendly. Was very uncomfortable while they were delivering couches. Kept sunglasses on and just throwing the pillows onto the couch. Just didn't feel right.

I am very happy with my new Ralene dining table and also with the delivery services. They showed me how to open and close the butterfly leaf and it arrived in perfect condition with the white glove delivery services.

We purchased two power recliners. They arrived a week earlier than expected and in excellent shape. Delivery crew was great. We have no complaints. This is our third time buying from here and we’ve had a great experience each time.

Ordered pieces online. Delivered as promised. Instructions said assembly required. There was minimal assembly on 3 pieces & no assembly on the other pieces. The delivery guys were very nice & professional. I would buy again.

Had a great experience with Ashley from start to finish. To start we were not bombarded with salespeople the second we walked in the door. When we had a question, we easily found a salesperson who not only answered our question but showed us how we could get exactly what we were looking for by combining two products on the floor (bought a fireplace TV stand). The price was on point and even had a fun March Madness basketball game to play in the store to save on shipping! Delivery was within 1 week of placing our order. We received the piece and it is heavy and well-made. Very happy with our purchase. Next time Ashley will be my first stop when furniture shopping. Highly recommend!

Bought a couch and had 3 service calls for it. They clearly don’t stand behind their products as they won’t issue a credit or replace the couch. Instead want to charge me for parts to keep ”repairing“ it when it’s sagging and has no support and very uncomfortable to sit in. Want me to pay for the materials. The warranty they sell you is useless! They even say if they can’t repair it that’ll replace it. Well, that’s not happening. Don’t shop here. The couch we purchased never looked the same as on the store floor.

My family has purchased several things from Ashley so I was extremely disappointed when I waited over 2 months for the delivery of a nightstand. They kept saying every week that it was “the week” but it never came. Finally I called to cancel. The manager was extremely rude, never even apologized for the delay. I ordered the exact same nightstand on Amazon for the same price (no delivery charge!) AND it arrived in 2 days! Never going back to this Ashley.

Same exact demeanor 2nd visit. Gave 3 stars because store staff was very accommodating and quickly replaced item. I would be hesitant to order from Ashely again if they use the same delivery team

We placed an order at the end of December and we are STILL waiting on the rest of our order. 2 pieces are “in” and the store cannot give us a reasonable ETA. At this point w would have purchased several other items. We understand delays due to unforeseen circumstances but at this point it’s getting absurd. We have no idea when our furniture will be in. No solution and no idea when the issue will be resolved.

Unfortunately, the purchase of a bedroom set was the worst experience we've ever had. Two pieces came with significant damage. After 6 mos. still had not received mirror or 2 nightstands. The customer service (Mgr) was condescending and ultimately resulted in our returning the pieces we had received. Never again.

I ordered furniture in Oct 23 2024 for over 2000 dollars it is now November 25th and the Port Charlotte store has a deposit over 1000 dollars and I have nothing not 1 piece of furniture

Love the items, And Steven the Sales person was very friendly and helpful. What I was disappointed with was that I was emailed and texted a $50 discount but was not able to use it. They tried the code in the store and I also tried ordering only and the code provided to me did not work and I was not able to receive the discount which to me seemed a bit deceiving. I was not happy with that.

Steve was great. No pressure, but available for questions.

Waited since September for a couch that came in December. when the couch arrived I wasn't home to inspect the couch, and when I got home, I called the store for them to pick it up. When the drivers arrived, they said they had to call "Jeff" because there were dirt marks on the couch, I let them know it was there when I was hone. Sales Manager Jeff, told me he's not going to do anything for me, acted very unprofessional, even his delivery drivers were in shock and said he has a temper, that he has minimal interaction with customer because of this. I recorded the whole phone call. He also told me I have to have the WHOLE couch professionally cleaned before he picks it up, which I refused in doing. After the drivers left without taking my furniture, I called Jeff back to let him know I recorded the whole call and will make sure regional management, news, and social media will know of how he decided to conduct business. I also let him know, that his product knowledge was not up to par, because the couch was highly advertised as "high performance" material easy to clean, and only requires water and cloth. He then gave in and accepted my return and said "I have to feel like I am winning in a sense, so please clean off the couch before they pick it up. After the return, I decided to go back and give another shot at ordering the same couch, different color, still in December. I was told by the sales person it would be late Jan of delivery 4-6 weeks. Okay, I was fine. Here we are, I have called every week, was told by end of feb I would be receiving my furniture, and now it's March. I do not recommend going to a franchise Ashley furniture, and will advise to visit the corp store in Sarasota where there is better communication. I was told Wednesday (it's now sat) I will hear from a manager and here we are, still nothing. Every piece of furniture I have in my home is from Ashley furniture. I will no longer order from the Port Charlotte location, will be in touch with a Regional Manager, and high ups on this interaction and processd UPDATE***** - THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO JEFF, THE STORE MANAGERS "OWNERS" COMMENT... NOT SPAM, I FINALLY RECIEVED MY FURNITURE THIS MONTH - AND THE COMPANY REP "JEFF" IS TRYING TO MARK MY REVIEW AS SPAM, DUE TO CALLING OUT HIS POOR PROFESSIONALISM, ALONG WITH HIS CUSTOMER REP. I REPORT THEM TO THE BBB AND RECIEVED A RESPONSE IT WAS SENT TO ASHLEY CORPORATE TODAY FOR REVIEW. I AM POSTING A PICTURE OF MY FURNITURE AND MY FIRST SALES ORDER TO PROVE THIS ISN'T SPAM, BUT JUST JEFF THE STORE MANAGER TRYING TO PROTECT HIS IMAGE. We have worked with Mary Lou to furnish our home in Florida remotely and she has been consistently wonderful. We were able to fully furnish our home primarily from Ashley within budget. We are thrilled with the quality and the look of the pieces.

The salesman, Will Jordan, was extremely helpful. He was not pushy. He listened to what I wanted. Pulled up pictures to show me what was available to match what was in the showroom. Very patient with me while I was trying to decide what I wanted. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for furniture but not sure what they might want. I am sure I will be coming in to make more purchases

This was our first visit to the new Ashley store and we were very pleased. Very large selection and all in a relative new setting. Our sales rep was terrific. He let us wander without hovering and we wound up buying a leather sofa, loveseat and a dining room table and chairs. Great selection and prices!

Ashley’s furniture store in Port Charlotte is a beautiful store and it’s huge they have everything. Everyone is very nice and friendly. Todd was the best he helped me with everything very kind and friendly and took his time to make sure we had everything we needed he also gave us recommendations he was a wonderful sales person. I will definitely be back and ask for Todd for all my furniture needs!!

When we walked in we were cordially greeted by Colleen. She asked what our needs were and pointed us in the right direction. She remained nearby but didn’t hover over us and gave us the privacy we needed to discuss our decisions. We ended up making the purchase. Colleen was professional, knowledgeable and helpful from beginning to end. Applying for Ashley’s in-store credit was simple and super fast and their financing deal was great for our needs. Claribel was courteous and rang up my sale quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for pricing and great in house financing options. Stephan was the sales rep who explained everything to me about the sofa and loveseat. I wanted to be sure it'd fit in my living room and returned the following day to finalize the purchase. Lord willing I will surely return to look at accessories which there are many choices.

Great customer service!

We worked with Johnny the other day to decide which style of LR furniture we liked and then went home to talk over the two options we liked and to make a final decision. We went back today to purchase two loveseats in the beautiful Blue leather choice and should be receiving them in just a few weeks. They are in stock so that is great! Will give us time to find new homes for the old couch and two single recliners we’ll be getting rid of. The process of finding and purchasing our choice has been very easy with Johnny. Todd was nice and other than that I'm not going back ever again, lesson learned the hard way....all my furniture was sent piece by piece...hand shake deal was "guarantee you will have THE mattress when you move here"...never got that one,settled for a pricer one,and hated it ever since. I went back and bought the one I wanted(that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1) @ a discount.....well I was supposed to get it this week,I was told...well jokes on me again I should get it around July 9th...I won't hold my breath....Sorry but I WILL NEVER GOT BACK TO THAT STORE EVER AGAIN !...Can't wait to hear the excuses this time/covid/can't get a driver..and they can't blame hurricane ian,which by the way I bought everything in July of that year..NOT after ian..Live and learn I guess?
