The installation of our bedroom went very well. Quick, quality work.
Very reasonable, nice delivery staff.
Bought a couch and had 3 service calls for it. They clearly don’t stand behind their products as they won’t issue a credit or replace the couch. Instead want to charge me for parts to keep ”repairing“ it when it’s sagging and has no support and very uncomfortable to sit in. Want me to pay for the materials. The warranty they sell you is useless! They even say if they can’t repair it that’ll replace it. Well, that’s not happening. Don’t shop here. The couch we purchased never looked the same as on the store floor.
Sofa was delivered shrink wrapped crew called me ahead of time, they were clean and professional. They unwrapped the sofa disposed the shrink wrap and brought the sofa into the house and put it in place. NO DAMAGE!!!! Excellent experience

My family has purchased several things from Ashley so I was extremely disappointed when I waited over 2 months for the delivery of a nightstand. They kept saying every week that it was “the week” but it never came. Finally I called to cancel. The manager was extremely rude, never even apologized for the delay. I ordered the exact same nightstand on Amazon for the same price (no delivery charge!) AND it arrived in 2 days! Never going back to this Ashley.

Delivery of our dining room table and chairs by Steve and Jeff was awesome! Both were super nice - and it was a perfect delivery - they took care bringing in all the pieces and putting the large and heavy table together.
We received help as soon as we entered the store by Mary. She helped us with the exact furniture we needed. The delivery was on time and the delivery men were very polite and placed the furniture where we needed it. We would use you store and services again in the future. **UPDATE** Store manager reached out to apologize after reading review. I was impressed with their immediate response and sincerity. Product delivered broken. Delivery persons agitated it had to be returned. Agitated I asked them not to walk on carpet with dirty shoes. Rude and very unfriendly. Same delivery team when item was replaced. Same exact demeanor 2nd visit. Gave 3 stars because store staff was very accommodating and quickly replaced item. I would be hesitant to order from Ashely again if they use the same delivery team
Two bedroom sets delivered and set up. Jeff and Steven did an awesome job. Helped with the install of floor protectors. Made sure we were happy with the furniture placement. A great couple of guys!
The 2 gentlemen who executed my delivery were friendly, professional, courteous, and fast. I was thoroughly satisfied with the service that they provided. (I feel terrible for not writing their names down so that I could personally acknowledge them).

We placed an order at the end of December and we are STILL waiting on the rest of our order. 2 pieces are “in” and the store cannot give us a reasonable ETA. At this point w would have purchased several other items. We understand delays due to unforeseen circumstances but at this point it’s getting absurd. We have no idea when our furniture will be in. No solution and no idea when the issue will be resolved.

I visited Ashley Furniture in Port Charlotte to purchase a new mattress and power base. I figured that’s the type of thing you definitely want to try before you buy. Clayton was my sales rep. He provided exemplary customer service! No pressure or upselling and just genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. Truly what 21st century sales should be about…. The customer experience. Rude experience. I told whatever sales person that I wanted mattresses in the $500 or less range based on having looked at their website before coming in. He laughed at me and rudely said you won't find any mattress that cheap, show me where saw that. So I attached a picture of the starting price of $299.99 I found on your website! I'll never do here again.

The salespeople are this location in Port Charlotte are very courteous. They are not pressuring you for a sale and let you make the decision to purchase. I have been in other locations before the same can not be said.

We stopped in to look for a bedroom set and were met at the door by a young man named Calvin. He asked what we were looking for and showed us around the store where we we narrowed it down to two sets. He left us to look around and we ultimately decided on a set. He went over and priced all the pieces we wanted and gave us an estimated delivery date. He checked us out at the main desk along with another associate who was also very nice.
We were greeted by Brandy as soon as we walked in the door! She was the BEST! She let us just look and came back to us to see if we had any questions. She was very thorough when placing the order! I ordered furniture in Oct 23 2024 for over 2000 dollars it is now November 25th and the Port Charlotte store has a deposit over 1000 dollars and I have nothing not 1 piece of furniture
Love the items, And Steven the Sales person was very friendly and helpful. What I was disappointed with was that I was emailed and texted a $50 discount but was not able to use it. They tried the code in the store and I also tried ordering only and the code provided to me did not work and I was not able to receive the discount which to me seemed a bit deceiving. I was not happy with that.

Waited since September for a couch that came in December. when the couch arrived I wasn't home to inspect the couch, and when I got home, I called the store for them to pick it up. When the drivers arrived, they said they had to call "Jeff" because there were dirt marks on the couch, I let them know it was there when I was hone. Sales Manager Jeff, told me he's not going to do anything for me, acted very unprofessional, even his delivery drivers were in shock and said he has a temper, that he has minimal interaction with customer because of this. I recorded the whole phone call. He also told me I have to have the WHOLE couch professionally cleaned before he picks it up, which I refused in doing. After the drivers left without taking my furniture, I called Jeff back to let him know I recorded the whole call and will make sure regional management, news, and social media will know of how he decided to conduct business. I also let him know, that his product knowledge was not up to par, because the couch was highly advertised as "high performance" material easy to clean, and only requires water and cloth. He then gave in and accepted my return and said "I have to feel like I am winning in a sense, so please clean off the couch before they pick it up. After the return, I decided to go back and give another shot at ordering the same couch, different color, still in December. I was told by the sales person it would be late Jan of delivery 4-6 weeks. Okay, I was fine. Here we are, I have called every week, was told by end of feb I would be receiving my furniture, and now it's March. I do not recommend going to a franchise Ashley furniture, and will advise to visit the corp store in Sarasota where there is better communication. I was told Wednesday (it's now sat) I will hear from a manager and here we are, still nothing. Every piece of furniture I have in my home is from Ashley furniture. I will no longer order from the Port Charlotte location, will be in touch with a Regional Manager, and high ups on this interaction and processd

We worked with Johnny the other day to decide which style of LR furniture we liked and then went home to talk over the two options we liked and to make a final decision. We went back today to purchase two loveseats in the beautiful Blue leather choice and should be receiving them in just a few weeks. They are in stock so that is great! Will give us time to find new homes for the old couch and two single recliners we’ll be getting rid of. The process of finding and purchasing our choice has been very easy with Johnny. Todd was nice and other than that I'm not going back ever again, lesson learned the hard way....all my furniture was sent piece by piece...hand shake deal was "guarantee you will have THE mattress when you move here"...never got that one,settled for a pricer one,and hated it ever since. I went back and bought the one I wanted(that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1) @ a discount.....well I was supposed to get it this week,I was told...well jokes on me again I should get it around July 9th...I won't hold my breath....Sorry but I WILL NEVER GOT BACK TO THAT STORE EVER AGAIN !...Can't wait to hear the excuses this time/covid/can't get a driver..and they can't blame hurricane ian,which by the way I bought everything in July of that year..NOT after ian..Live and learn I guess?

We love the TV stand we purchased for our large TV. The Ashley store also had great prices compared to other furniture stores in the area. Next time I am looking for furniture, I will start with Ashley. Linda, who works at the checkout desk at the Port Charlotte store, was so pleasant and helpful with our delivery set up. Then, we had the nicest men (Chris & Tristan) deliver our furniture. It could not have been a better experience.

He is the best, patient, listens to what potential customers are looking for and shows them everything available in the showroom, even looks up items if they aren't on the showroom to see if they are available to order for them. Ashley needs to know what a great representative they have for the company in Will. Any time I need furniture in the future I will give Ashley and Will 1st look. Will was one of the best representatives of a company we have met in many, many years. Hang on to him, he is an asset to your store.

Met Will at the Port Charlotte Florida store. He guided me to the furniture item section that I needed and answered all of my questions. After checking with another local store for the same product, I returned to the Ashley store, found Will made a seamless purchase. For the price and the service, I believe I made the right choice.
Well what can I say? The doors were unlocked and soon as we walked in we’re were greated with eyrolls because we asked a few questions. I said how late are you open till and he said 6pm and he goes it 5:58pm I go oh ok well we need a new couch and dinner table and set along with a coffee table and end tables and a entertainment stand. I was approved for 20k in credit and No one wanted to help me complete a huge sale. I never felt so uncomfortable and my business unwanted before. So instead of the guy being friendly and maybe staying for a few because I told him we had a huge purchase and we work till 5, and with traffic it’s hard to get into Ashley’s when they close at 6 everyday. We are taking our business and plan to spend 10k at another furniture if not more seeing we were looking into buying a bed as well. There loss is someone else’s gain and I can’t wait to help someone who truly cares for people make a commission. I will never do business here and have new friends moving to the area and will latest them clear as well. Horrible policy they have and the service clearly isn’t top notch!!

My wife purchased a mattress for me while I was in hospital. It was promised for delivery around Friday or earlier. It is NowSunday, no mattress and no communication as to when or if delivery will occur. At the pre-paid price I authorized, I consider such service unacceptable.

Needed a new mattress. Went in no one bothered us. We laid down on several beds that were on display. Decided which one we wanted and found a salesperson walking in the store and lucky for us there was one in the warehouse. We drove home with our new mattress that very day!

My wife and I purchased all our furniture for our new house from Ashley in Port Charlotte in 2019. We are snow birds so it only received 3 seasons of use. We purchased the warranty for our “leather “ couch and loveseat and we were told it protected them from any damage. We’ll, after 3 seasons we had the leather peel. We called the warranty company, they sent someone out and they said it wasn’t covered. The material peeled while I was wiping it with leather cleaner. Called and left 2 messages with Ashley. No response. Drove there and spoke to Anthony the manager who said this happens all the time. And it’s because of whatever is in peoples hair. No attempt to do anything to rectify our problem. I can only say that the furniture is junk and won’t last through the warranty that is useless. Buyer beware!!!! He said it happens all the time! Never spend money at Ashley.

They have severe hurricane damage & are selling damaged furniture. It's a junk store with ruined furniture. Their insurance already paid for the inventory they lost, and instead of getting rid of it the scheisters are selling it lol!😂 Don't waste your time!😂

Placed an order in September 2022. I was told the couch would be delivered within two months. Hurricane happened. I expected delays. Called several times in December, Janurary, and lastly in Feburary. I was told several different delivery estimates. I updated my credit card information with them twice as the charges were being dropped after extended hold periods. I was told the couch would finally be delivered in Janurary or Feburary. Called today and was informed my order has been cancelled, and I must reorder. Customer service has no idea why it was cancelled. Waited 5 months for a couch to be delivered, only for Ashley to cancel it. Made over 10 phone calls regarding the order. Not a chance I would start over by reordering, then wait another two months for the sofa to maybe be delivered. Colossal time wasters. Take your business elsewhere, unless you enjoy massive headaches.
Purchased a mattress that is less than 6 months old and already sleeps like we have had it for years. Mattress has visible divots that you can even see when it’s made. A tech came to inspect and submit a report and after another couple months of unreturned phone calls, the promise of a new/different mattress (by Rita) and we still have nothing. What we have experienced is lackluster customer service from a majority of the staff and zero warranty as promised or outlined in Ashley or Bacons mission statements. We have all been through Ian and that is NO excuse for delays, blatantly not calling back and not making good. Be wary where you spend your money. It’s worse than a slick and shady used car salesman. So disgusted and disappointed!

Well I ordered furniture on July 18th ...Oct 11th now still haven't gotten it...only piece meal. I've gotten half of my sectional and no bed and wrong mattress 🙃
We made our purchase in September 2021 which included a couch, dining table, and bed frame. The couch was in stock and was delivered within the week. We were told that the dining table and bed frame would be delivered by the end of the year. We received a call after Thanksgiving that our table was ready and we stopped into the store and picked out chairs that were available and could be delivered with our table. New Year came and nothing of our bed and communication lacked at this time. From there we were told our bed would arrive every couple of months. Well finally a year later, waiting, sleeping on the floor, and our bed frame is here! Well worth the wait as the wood is beyond beautiful. We bought the Isanti bed frame & kitchen table and I love the tones and quality as well as the price. We will probably be back for the matching nightstands at some point. Thank you Ana for dealing with us and working with us to make sure we were happy. <3

Very poor service, I suppose get a couch That supposed be deliver in my house in 10 days , already pass 2 months and still waiting and every time I call they say the estimate truck deliver that is coming to the store is next week , already passed 8 weeks and the truck somehow can’t get here . And also that now they know is me calling they put me on hold . Will never shop there anymore and either my family

My family and I moved to Florida 2 months ago and is currently building a home. I was window shopping for furniture and was greeted by Shawn who was very kind and easygoing. He didn’t hound you like some sales folks and allowed you the freedom to shop/look without the pressure of feeling “stalked”. I told him I’d be back once I had my husband with me to show him around as well. I kept my word came back and was wanting to see a dining room table I had seen online. Sadly it was going be to big for the space but Shawn didn’t give up! He showed me several others based on my style and low and behold he found me not only a table that would work… but it was even BETTER!! The price, the cool features and even matching bar stools!! His persistence in finding me my table paid off and he was professional and pleasant from the beginning! Anyone in the market for furniture come here ask for Shawn bc he will do what he can to make you happy!! I will be back for more furniture and decor from Shawn at Ashley’s!!
We were met by a young man who explained how things worked regarding pricing/sale items etc. We then toured the store for about 20 minutes when we found exactly the DR table set we needed. The young man happened to show up and I told him to write up the purchase. In about 5 minutes we we're on our way Unfortunately, we have to wait four to six weeks to get the set.

Poor customer service. The guy was definitely not interested in what we wanted, which we called ahead to make sure you had one to look at. He had no interest in showing the mattress, even though I pointed it out as we passed it. Then said well we don’t have it and walked off. This is NOT for any other store but Port Charlotte

I was very excited to come here after looking online at a bunch of places. This one had most of everything I wanted. Was 100% prepared to spend somewhere around $10,000. Walked in and a sales guy came towards us, said "hello! How can I help you?" We were excited....only to realize he completely skipped over us to the people that walked in behind us....I understand we are somewhat young (30s) but that is no excuse. Walked past a bunch of sales people on our way through the store and not 1 of them said anything to us.....so we left.

When we walked in, Jen greeted us and told us to look around and let her know if we found something we liked. No pressure from her and she was very nice. After we walked around the store, we asked her about two bedroom sets we liked. Jen was very knowledgeable, pointing out the pros and cons based on our needs. We wound up buying both sets. I wish I could give them no stars at all. I just moved to Northport recently and went in to look at furniture. When I walked in today nobody greeted me. I walked around the whole entire store and not one associate asked me could they help me…. Instead everyone was sitting around on their cell phones! I will take my money elsewhere!

Very poor communication. The selling story is different than the delivery story. Ordered funiture in Nov to be held in storage until March. Came in March and only 1/2 of the order was ready. Solution: Wait till June for reorders. Delivery People were polite and accomodating.

Was difficult keeping our salesperson focused on us and not other customers. We spent several hours at the store and three trips in one day to give enough time for our order to be entered. Each time we were told it would be just a few minutes. Then she wanted us to write the credit card number down and she would enter the order later. We were not confident that the order was going to be entered snd not comfortable just writing my credit card number down. Mind you, if the order isn't entered into the system, the limited stock is available to be bought by another person. We bought 3 bedrooms of furniture and a desk so it wasn't like we were just purchasing a lamp. It was a very long day that left me feeling like I couldn't trust them. Hopefully, everything is delivered as promised.

Extremely poor credit card issued by synchrony bank. Stay far away from them. They always try to sell you a credit card you dont need and this is truly the worst card I've ever had. Apr is outrageous and handed out a late fee when paid in full? Do not recommend

No communication at all. I 100% understand times are crazy right now. I waited 7 days after the date I was told our bed would arrive to call and follow up. Sure enough it had been there. I had to ask for it to be delivered even though we paid for delivery and were told our items would be delivered as they came in. Supposed to receive a call the day before delivery with a 2 hour window… crickets all day…I call the morning of delivery day and am given a 3 hour window unlike the 2 hours told previously . Very disappointed.

Also, as always, Bacon’s/Ashley has by far the most beautiful and varied selection no matter what your tastes. No need to go to Sarasota or Naples!

However, she was successful in finding me the perfect mattress, even going above and beyond to find a slightly better price online. UPDATED. [Original review: My experience was rather more disappointing than that enjoyed by most reviewers here. We ordered two identical sofas in May; the two arrived in July, but one of them came with two "left" backs and so was not usable. The store was unable to order the single missing part (a "right" back) and so placed an order for a replacement sofa. In the meanwhile, they lent us the store display loveseat to get the incomplete sofa out of our sight. So far, OK. The replacement sofa was not delivered till September and, when it came, it was of clearly inferior quality. The foam was either of such a different quality or thickness that the frame in the headrests was now clearly to be felt (which also meant there was far less support). Rather than take our chances with a third disappointment, we just kept the "loaner" loveseat -- but with a refund of only $28 for the difference between a three-seater sofa and a (used) loveseat! In the end, very disappointing. So: if someone at the factory hadn't screwed up at the outset, we would probably also have been able to leave a 5-star review, but the deterioration in product quality and, it must be said, customer care on the way to resolution leaves a bad taste in my mouth.] UPDATE: Ashley did follow up with a $100 store credit, which we received as a sign that they really do care about customer satisfaction. I've upgraded the rating from two stars to four as a result.

Ana Anastasio was extremely helpful. She was professional and patient. We took our time and did our homework with regards to making our purchase. We did find a similar dining table at another store which also was $200 less. However, we decided to purchase the entire set rather than splitting it up with two stores. Ana emailed me and answered all my questions.
Horrible experience, spent an hour and a half to purchase a dinning table, paid for it and prepared to pick up. Management then calls me to tell me salesperson had no authority to sell table, that she made a mistake and forcefully cancelled order without providing an alternative option. Would not recommend this store at all. This has Never happened to me at Baers...

The sales lady collene who helped me and my husband was really sweet and showed us everything twice and then some. We had just moved to northport 3 days ago from Nashville and had sold most of our furniture before we moved so we needed quite a bit .she was very helpful on finding what we were looking for. The prices were reasonable so we were able to pay cash for everything and she gave us a discount on top of everything. I would recommend it to anyone

What a find this store is. I wish there was a Bacon's on Long Island. They have gorgeous original pieces. Every time you walk in you see something new. All high quality. Ron, my sales person/decorator, goes out of his way to make certain I'm well taken care of. He is also a lot of fun to work with. Then there is Lee the owner. He is always available. Very hands on. Was able to have a coffee table designed in the exact size I needed for a reasonable cost. This store is my favorite in Southwest Florida!
My husband went in and found a bed he liked. Called back later that afternoon and ordered over the phone. Cheaper than online and done in about 10 minutes. Good experience.
Loved my sales person Jen. I went in the store back in December to buy a new dining room table on behalf of my mom who was house bound due to illness and Jen was very patient as I communicated with my mom over the phone about what she wanted and what she did not want. The reason for the two stars is unfortunately I ordered the table back in the middle of December and I was originally told it would take till February due to COVID for delivery, I was fine with that. Then I got a phone call it was suppose to be anytime between the end of February to March 15th. Here it is April 13th and now I’m being told the table and two end chairs will be at the warehouse the end of this month but the 4 side chairs they have no clue. And unfortunately my mom will never get the chance to see her new table because she passed away last month. I am hoping to have the table for the summer at this point.

Laurene was a huge help with furnishing our home. She checked out all the prices and was knowledgeable on the material of each piece of furniture. We went back and forth maybe 6-7 times over a 2 week period and never once got impatient with us. She made the experience much easier than we have had in the past. She is also a genuinely nice person.
Very quick and efficient experience with no pressure and a wide range of options to choose from. Maura was super friendly and got me in and out quickly after waiting patiently for my decision on what to buy. I was always greeted warmly at the door and there was an atmosphere of friendliness and warmth throughout the store. Have you ever heard of a furniture store that has no idea of how to let a customer take delivery at the store. No one in the store new how or could find someone who new how to wrap a piece of furniture for transportation. Everyone kept pointing to someone else and the last person actually said"I have no idea if someone's back there to wrap that piece of furniture" So I took it unwrapped and luckily the salesman help me get the furniture out of the store to my vehicle. Yes I had to carry it out of the store. The store needs to go to furniture store school. Wow

My wife and I were looking for outdoor furniture. We had looked at several patio furniture specialty stores but decided to stop at Ashley Furniture to see if they had anything. We were promptly greeted by Shawn Shortbull who took us to the patio section and after an introduction to their inventory, he gave us time to check out everything on our own. When he came back to check on us we had found the perfect set priced much lower than all the specialty stores. This is the best furniture store I have had the pleasure to purchase furniture from. The sofa I purchased is quality made, and extremely comfortable. They have such nice accessories and great prices. Most of all, this location is by far the greatest customer service I have dealt with!! I had some issues with some furniture (not store related) husband related. The owner Jeff Bacon, was so kind, considerate and understanding to my situation. He was able and helped me resolve my issue. Bella, who works in the office with transactions, etc. is AMAZING! I called her numerous times in need of information. She is so patient, and helpful. She never made me feel as I was a nuisance with all my calls and the fact that she had to reiterate many times my questions as I wasn't understanding. If you are looking for quality furniture, honesty and the best customer service, don't look anywhere else. You won't be disappointed!
My family and i have bought thousands of dollars over and over with Ashley’s through out the years. NEVER again. The last year 2 years have been the worse ever. This is the last straw. 1 month ago. One bedroom set delivered and dresser leg completely broken and they just left it there thinking we would never see it. Now today After 7 months I get my last end table and it’s put together upside down and my last piece of furniture a recliner STILL not delivered. After so many delays now this. Ashley’s. nice going not only are we walking taking billboards that will never recommend you but th includes the rest of the family.

Lorene was very knowledgeable about her store's merchandise. We were searching for a new living room set. She let me know right away that only two sets were available for immediate shipment as the others were backordered due to the pandemic. I wasn't sure what I wanted and inquired about several sets. I returned with my daughter and then later my husband. She showed us again and again the furniture that we were interested in. She answered all of our questions and was not high pressure nor rushed like some sales people can be. She was really a pleasure to work with and gave us a good deal on a lovely set that will be delivered next week!

We had a written quote from our salesperson Matt and Manager Anthony would not make the sale. We have a new house and need to fill up with furniture including 3 bedroom sets. Matt had made an error of $25, for over $700 of furniture and Anthony would not honor the quote. So be careful when shopping at this store since they do not honor there word.

We had to come to this location after being thrown out of the fort myers location, for not wearing a mask. Fortunately this location actually knows and follows their corporate rules posted on their website, and after a call to confirm we were welcome there without a mask, we drove an hour to come shop there. Unfortunately since the house were shopping for is in Tennessee, we will have to purchase from a location there. However the sales woman Maura, was very accommodating and helpful and willing to tell us everything she could to make sure purchasing was easy for us once we get to TN. I highly recommend this location, not only because the staff is great, but because they respect your right to choose if you want to wear a mask or not!

I have been shopping for ages for a recliner and have had bad experiences time and time again. Poor quality products, pushy and snobby sales people and I had given up ever finding a chair that really fits my needs. Maria was very nice on the phone when I called prior to my visit. Once inside the store I just happened to meet Maria in person. She spent a couple of hours finding a chair that really fit me. She could have pushed more expensive units but she knew in the long run I wasn't going to be happy with my purchase. I found my perfect recliner and I am so happy, and so is my spine!!! I am not really happy. I got a defective recliner that lost it coloring on the head rest. They no longer sell this recliner. I had it for 13 months so they said warranty is no longer. I bought the Safeguard protection. They declined saying normal wear and tare. This was not wear and tare. My matching couch has no such problem. Your manager said it is probably from my husband's oil from his hair. Well that is funny since we watches TV on the couch every night and it hasn't happened to the couch. I am 72 years old. I have had 6 houses. We have leather recliners in all our houses. This has never happened to any other set i bought. This was is just bad material on this recliner and should last more than 13 months.They gave a $100 off another recliner but I ended up having to spend another $900 even minus the $100. So am I happy, NO. I bought a livingroom set. A couch bed for the den,, a dining room set and chairs and a curio cabinet from this store and a hutch from online. I also brought my friend in and she spent around $15,000 on furniture. I will not be recommending anyone else and I will not be buying anything else from Ashley. I was going to be buying a new bedroom set. But it will not be from Ashley. Very poor customer service from your manager Anthony. He could have done a lot better than $100 off. Now you have lost a good customer. I am throughly disappointed in your service.

I purchased a living room set for my mom the beginning of May, (paid it in full) I was told it would be delivered June 1st. I called today June 2nd to see what happened, and because my sales rep was not in I could not receive the information. One lady hung up on me! Finally after several of calls, I received a call back from Ken who by the way was very non chalant and he stated that the furniture was on back order and would not be in until July! Ashley’s never called to inform me! I had to call them! They are very unprofessional and rude! Please don’t waste your time or money with this company! Reply: Correction, your company return My call yesterday after I had called several of times! It does not erase the fact that I had to call Ashely’s a day after my furniture was to be delivered to find out That it was on back order! Of course you will process a refund because that’s what I requested after your customer service representative hung up on me!

Bought furniture and thought everything was good was told has warranty for anything that goes wrong (important since I have a 5 year old) also told they make better furniture then the other place we bought from before and wouldn’t need to worry about the peeling leather because they use real and it doesn’t do that. The leather is peeling already (faster then the cheap stuff) and put in the warranty and was told they won’t cover it because you have to know exactly when and what broke it (again small child) and it is probably wear and tear on furniture that has nearly even been used as it is a separate unused family room. So now I have to interrogate a five year into telling what happened which I still don’t see the point it’s broken and has coverage so who cares what time and day it was broken

So i order a bed and mattress on feb 29th and paid in full.. It’s now April 1st and we still have nothing we were told two weeks and it would all be in. So after three weeks i called because hadn’t heard anything and they told me it was on a truck and due for delivery April 1st so my husband calls today and they tell him it’s still not there and that it’s on a truck for delivery this week there.. And not to mention that not once did someone call to tell me i have called to find the status update every time. I would not shop at this store ever again the worse place ever should of went to rooms to go

The sales person worked really hard to find us exactly what we wanted and to understand that we were most interested in quality products. She knew the store merchandise well, was polite, well-groomed, and went the extra mile to ask the manager for a discount on our purchases. We were very pleased.
Found an excellent rocker recliner at a fabulous price, purchased on the spot and took it home with us. Didn't have to wait for it to be delivered from a warehouse for an extra fee. Very happy!

I’d swear the furniture in the showroom is overstuffed to make it seem more comfortable. We spent over $700.00 for a couple of recliner’s 7 weeks ago and I’m already sinking in the chair and becoming very uncomfortable. Just not a quality product for $700.00...

I had a great experience I found a product that I was familiar with on their website called double check the price it was even a little lower than expected my only suggestion would be if a customer is willing to pick up a product make it more at the convenience of the customer. rather than Ashley's. I was told I can only pick up Furniture between 1 and 4 . I'm certainly not taking time off from work to pick up furniture and I'm not taking time out in the middle of a weekend either not very thoughtful in my opinion.

Ordered a buffet to match our table. Took 10 weeks to get it. They didn't call me I had to call them and it was there. For how long, of course they said it came in the day before. We picked it up put it together and it was damaged. No big deal things happen. My husband called and they reordered. Thought it was gonna be another 10 weeks. I called just to ask how long as this time we are on a month and they said it would be tomorrow. They refused to work with us on a pick up time. We work until 5:30. Their pick up time is by 4 and you have to make an appt or on Saturday between 11:30 to 4, right in the middle of the only day I have off. Really, what they should of done was put the thing together to make sure it isnt damaged again and then deliver it. They did agree to deliver without a time. Meaning I would have to be home all day. They won't give me my furniture and I am ticked. Make accommodations people.

I would give zero stars or negative if I could. I went into this store with my mom and handicap father to buy some furniture. Samantha was very helpful and sweet. She was all about helping and doing anything she could to take care of my family. After a second trip in and more of Samantha's time my parents picked everything they wanted. They paid in full for it. The manager that was there was nothing but rude and unhelpful. My parents both said they would need help to move the old out to the curb. They were willing to pay. But the manager just acted like they wanted things for free. He acted like we where a bother. What happen to customer service. We have friends and family who work for rooms to go and they take care of a customer that just spent several thousands of dollars in there store. But my mother liked a set she saw on there website and wanted to go there instead. But what a mistake. This manager had no customer service or even people skills. It's sad that this happens and people are treated and spoke to like this. Part two. I will say the manger did end up calling my parents and making things right. I am very thankful for that. I know both my parents where very unsatisfied and upset with how things went yesterday. But the manager called and was very helpful and apologetic for the miscommunication. So I wanted to say thank you for doing that.

The delivery movers broke one of the lamps in my living room. The owner of the store Jeff Bacon contacted me and gave me a store credit to replace my lamp. When my husband and I went to the store to choose the new lamp set we were treated extremely poorly by the store manager Ken. After some miscommunication with his staff about our store credit he loudly explained to his sales associate that this was, “a huge mess,” he wasn’t going to deal with and told them to just check us out. His own sales associate left the store with us to apologize for the poor customer service and treatment and even recommended calling corporate.

I arrived just at closing to finalize a small purchase. My sales representative (Maura) was horribly rude because it was going to keep her a few minutes later than she liked, and she had other places to be. My son and I were both very turned off by this experience to the point that I very politely let her know that I felt she was being rude to us.

Leave your wife home. They have a wide selection of furniture, if your looking for home accents this place has tons and tons of great stuff. Bring your credit card you will need it. All furniture and accents are reasonably priced.

Since coming to Florida we have had two experiences purchasing furniture for our new home from Ashley. Upon visiting the Port Charlotte store the first time we were greeted by Maura . Second time I’ve walked into this store without being greeted. Sales associates were looking at my mom and I with a “side eye” but with no acknowledgement. We got all the way to the back of the store until a sales rep (whose name will not be mentioned) decided to greet us. Based on her vibe and demeanor she might as well shouldn’t have even bothered. I understand sales associates goals are to sell and reach their goals along with their commissions. However, it would be more effective if her approach was more so sincere. She contradicted herself several times during our interaction. Usually when I walk into a furniture store I like to browse and I have an objective to buy. People should not judge a book by its cover. This experience just turned me off to this particular location. If the staff was more inclusive to their potential customers despite their demographic I believe the store would be more successful in their revenue. They are not short of needing an anti-bias training video.

I had initially gave this place 5 stars for the great service I had in the store, but I should’ve waited to place a proper review after my experience. I should have also listened to my friend about ordering from here with the experience they had purchasing from here as well. I had purchased a couch for my new apartment from them over the phone, on July 30th and was told that it will be in 3-4 weeks and that I would get a call to schedule a delivery. I never received that call. I called, and was told they had forgotten. I received my couch yesterday after 6 weeks. Then I noticed that the first couch cushion is slightly frayed in an area and on the second couch cushion there is a hole. I'm not not satisfied.

Aside from being accosted and stalked by a sales person worse than being on a used car lot... they had lots of variety at low-budget prices set up as rooms so things are all spread out. Found what we needed though, and had a nice lady (Coleen) help us to finalize our order. Due to it being Labor Day, we had a very long wait at the order/payment desk. Associates were a bit scattered but got things figured out. Expected delivery is 2 weeks.
So very pleased with the excellent service I experienced. Quality service with quality furniture is a great win- win situation.

We performed a comprehensive investigation of the treasures a/k/a furnishings that Ashley Home Store has to offer. On the next trip the selections will begin once new home construction commences. It is important that no last minute changes in dimensions are made before commitment to thousands of dollars worth of furniture. Hundreds of pics of many styles of furniture were taken to study here at home. The staff which we encountered are top notch and it is my impatient anticipation to acquire these items as soon as we can. There is only one question we never asked. Where are the eggs and toast? You have the Bacon, right?
Caught their contracted driver throwing their trash into a canal off of Estates drive between Tidwell and Beedla. Two others had already stopped to observe this behavior. One of the helpers from the truck tried to start a fight with the guy who originally stopped to report him. Totally unprofessional.

This is my first and LAST time purchasing from this unprofessional LOW QUALITY store! They had the nerve to take three whole weeks to deliver the rest of my bed set.. then try to say I owe more than I was told to pay (being I paid already) then some old lady calls me on the phone to tell me my balance and HANGS UP in my face?? Don’t purchase from here. They are unprofessional and their furniture is trash.. I’m working on contacting corporate!!

Ordered a dining table and 4 chairs in January to be delivered once the chairs came in 2/8. Nope not until March 8th I was told when I called on 2/8. March 11th I called, good news, two of the chairs came in, not 4, they could deliver the table and two of the chairs....the other two will be delivered April 8th. Meanwhile I’m out the FULL price of the set, and after two months I have a table and two chairs.. How can they only send two chairs you ask? Me too, I have no idea! I only hope the die lot on the cudhions of the chairs will match..
It's medium quality furniture that's overpriced. Also, it smells pretty off in there sometimes. Like a moldy smell. Be careful with the furniture you purchase from there!

The store is a nice mid-price retailer supported by a website. We looked on the website (which is slow and not user friendly and is my only real complaint) to look at prices and selection. We then went to the store to see the quality. We did make a purchase. Store personnel were nice but not overly solicitous. I was pleased overall.

We worked with Maria Davis. She could not have done a better job ! We were in once to look at kids bunk beds. She gave us a print out of a set we were interested in. She gave us her card with her schedule written on it. We planned around her off day so that we could deal with again when we came back to make the purchase. There was a minor glitch in the process. She apologized more than once but there was no need to. It wasn't her fault. She did a great job and is very personable.
After seeing a recliner that we were interested in at the store, we looked up some additional information on it at home. At that time we found a price difference but didn't really understand why it was lower online. I called and spoke with Tammy who explained the price at the store was if the purchase was financed. She asked for the price I had found online, at which time she stated that they would honor that price as it was less than the in store price when paid in full up front. I told her we would be in the next day to buy the recliner. Tammy proceeded to write up all the necessary paperwork for our purchase so that it would be ready when we arrived. That was also to be her day of. She arranged for Maura to handle the transaction in her absence. Upon our arrival, Maura promptly greeted us with paperwork in hand. She explained what Tammy and I had discussed, and had us on our way in about 15 min. All went very smoothly. Thanks Tammy and Maura.!

Great store in Port Charlotte, FL. Shopped and bought living room seating, 2 sofas and a double rocker recliner. Impressed by Ashley's branded premium furniture quality and comfort. Extensive inventory on display in fashionable high performance colors & fabrics. Our sales person Jay was great, asked specific questions and quickly understood what we wanted and showed us exactly the best suited pieces. And we bought them. SALE prices were unbeatable too!
We visited this store today looking for a wall hugging recliner. Our sales associate, Maria was most helpful, friendly and the delivery date, this Friday, really exceeded our expectations.

We were greeted upon arrival by Beverly. Beverly was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but not too pushy all at the same time. We had a wonderful experience! Just visited again today, and everyone was happy and helpful! We were greeted upon arrival and asked if we had been assisted in the past. Frank greeted us as we entered the store. Showed us the different recliners that they had in the store answering all our questions with NO pressure to buy. We ended up buying 2 recliners. Everyone was very friendly.
Ok but I believe a lower class of furniture.
I had purchased a bedroom set is being over a month and i had not received yet this was a Christmas present . When i order they told me was going to arrived no later than the 22nd is alrady the a week later and they just call me today after i had call them numerous times to schedule a week from now.I will never buy anything from here. i would rather roomstogo they are much faster and reliable. This being the worse experience that i have buying furniture.

Kat was very helpful. Tried to get an additional discount on a sale item and it was only reduced by $20.00 which was disappointing. I would have at least liked to have my tax covered. The computer system was very slow it took her quite a bit of time to imput information and then when I arrived at the front they still could not get proper info to charge me.This was a cash and carry sale! They were nice enough to offer me a three day return option in case the rug did not work out but I love it and won't be returning.

This was my 2nd cash purchase and it was difficult finding a salesperson to help me. Once I did, it seemed like he was inconvenienced to assist me. Luckily, I knew what I wanted. Not the experience I was expecting.
They wouldn't give us prices until we picked out the bedroom and living room furniture that we would like. Was in the store for hours. Then after buying the furniture had to wait a month for our living room furniture to be delivered. Not a nice experience after moving to Florida with no furniture. I've had a easier time buying a car.

Sales person was nice and helpful, but prices at this store were different from on line prices and prices at Ft Myers store. If I hadn't known that the prices were higher at this store I don't think they would have voluntarily matched them without me questioning them. But I did and the salesperson happily matched those prices so no problem for me getting the best deal.
We had a great experience today. We bought an entire bed set plus an accent cabinet for the living room and we spent about 1000$ less than we expected due to the sales and savings our sales rep Arranged for us. We are very happy and can’t wait for it to be delivered!!!!

I bought a sofabed about 8 months and already the sofa has sunken down that it's hard to get up almost 9 hundred bucks for this it's a joke I have a warranty going to see what they say I'll keep you posted

Ashley Home Store in Port Charlotte is a wonderful place to shop for furniture. My husband and I have purchased numerous items for our new home and keep going back for more. Wonderful experience today at the Ashley Home Store in Port Charlotte. My salesman Jay Michael was awesome! I never felt rushed or pressured to buy. He listened to me and looked at pictures of the home i was moving into and offered great suggestions. Turns out we were on the same page. I ended up purchasing a beautiful leather sofa and ottoman that will be perfect for my needs and decor. I would love working with him again and would recommend him to everyone.

Came down for 1 week to get some things for a condo we bought. Didn't really expect to buy furniture on this trip,but ended up buying just about everything I needed. I think I spent about 5 hours in the store between 2 days. The women I worked with were wonderful! Very helpful with good suggestions and worked with me for the best prices. Very expensive furniture at medium quality that the sales people swear is top of the line. Be weary of sales that are marked down by 50%. When I was looking at a specific piece, they jacked the price up on the Red sale ticket by 50% and then reduced it by 50% which is a common practice at furniture stores. That being said, it is one of the better furniture stores around. They have a wide variety of selection and occasionally you will find something that will match your taste. Also, every sales person is friendly and kind. So compared to other stores such as Rooms To Go, I would have to give it 4 stars.
I THOUGHT I had a problem with my new bed so I emailed the Corporate office and had a response in less than 24 hours. I have apologized since it was my mistake. I have ordered many rooms of furniture and have always received EXCEPTIONAL customer service. The extended warranty is a MUST. If damaged they replace with no questions asked. I do not order from any other store. HAPPY SATISFIED customer!!!

Was there Saturday with the wife and was greeted by Tammy Rosch who was so pleasant and personable. She was able to answer all of concerns and even made some excellent suggestions. The layout of the store was very well thought out. The wife said for such a large warehouse that Tammy new exactly where to show us everything we wanted to look at. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase new furniture to shop here as they have a very large selection, and if you can ask for Tammy as she will take care of all your shopping needs.
Very disappointed that i bought all this furniture from there and Jim knew we were closing on Friday and that i wanted it delivered on Saturday and he made it sound like not a problem. But now i have to wait 5 days to get it delivered because when the store called me to set up a delivery date they do not deliver on Saturday now. Very Disappointed!!!! Now i will have to pick up my furniture after already paying for it
Have always had success @ Ashley in Greenwood,IN so visited the one near us in Port Charlotte. Knew the bookcase (W446) from the website so also wanted to change our TV viewing seating. Thanks to Julie Tulacz expert knowledge etc we settles on a power reclining sofa & matching recliner.
