Robin was such an amazing help! We came in looking for a couch and she stayed with us helping us trying to find our perfect fit. I purchased 2 recliner sofas this past weekend for my new home. Robyn was our sales person & she couldn't be nicer or more helpful. My daughter went to my new home & checked the measurements in family room where the new furniture was going & discovered one piece was too large & would stick out too much. We decided to call Ashley & switch out one sofa for a single recliner. The gentleman who helped my daughter expedite the matter made it work & actually went above & beyond . Was real good experience! Went in the store looking for a bed within my budget, a very friendly sale associate names Nancy came to greet me. She showed me different beds and then brought me to one that I liked within my budget and was a done deal. Nancy was very down to earth and knowledgeable. Glad I chose to go to Ashley's store!

So far, I've had a very bad experience with Ashley Furniture. We created two different orders from them. One came with a damaged dresser. To their credit, they replaced the dresser. The second order came with missing legs for the headboard. I called it in and created a case to get the missing pieces shipped to me. 3 weeks later, I haven't heard anything. I reached out and they said while they do have the case number, they can't do anything with it unless I text another number. So, now I'm in that process. Why they didn't tell me that 3 weeks ago is a mystery. The process to get someone on the phone is aggravating. The bot doesn't understand English. I said my phone number when prompted, the bot read it back to me, after I confirmed it, it hung up. So, I called back and opted to look up my order with an order number instead. Eventually, it transfered me to a human who took down my name, phone number, and order number. He then transfered me to the warranty department. That person then took down my name, order number, and phone number before telling me he can't help me and that I would need to text the number. Seems like the bot could just tell me to text that number when I resched out to the warranty department to save everyone a bit of time. I don't recommend this company.

I have bought furniture from this store for years. The quality of their items always exceeded expectations, until now! I bought a power lift recliner that I have been trying to get replaced for over a year because it has broken down 4 separate times in 7 months. The customer service for this company is atrocious!! I will NEVER buy from them again.

Scammers. Nawal walked me right into being scammed. I spent $7000 with them and they delivered a table with a smashed corner and turned the smashed corner towards the corner of the room to hide it. Dirt bag, pieces of trash

My husband and I came into Ashley's and were extremely impressed with the selection they have as well as the labor day deals/sales that were going on. We were greeted by Nawal who was extremely friendly and helpful. She showed us around the store and helped us look at options for multiple different types of furniture including beds and mattresses. After deliberation we had decided to purchase a sofa at an extremely good price. Delivery and protection plan was also pretty reasonable. Nawal did a terrific job at helping us get approved for finance and getting us the best deal possible. Ashley's is much more affordable than most other name brand furniture stores and I was very pleased with how helpful and welcoming the staff is at this specific location. We were very pleased with our visit to the store and are more than happy to give this location our business again!!

Just bought furniture for my new house. Me and my wife were helped by Robin. She was very kind and very patient with us. We are the type of shoppers who ask a lot of questions and change our minds often. Robin was still nice and ready for anything we threw at her. The store also had great deals. 0 interest for 60 month. We got a king bed frame, 2 night stands, two couches, and a desk for the oeuvre of one couch at other stores. Killer deals highly recommend!

Mr. Earl Innis was awesome! A week prior to this purchase I went to another Ashely store and had a bad experience with the salesman so I was hesitate to walk in however Mr. Innis did not disappoint! I have loved working with the Ashley store in Sanford. Earl Innis helped me with two sets that I love and went above and beyond to answer my questions and make sure that I got what I wanted. They delivered the furniture in a very timely manner, assembled it and took away all of the boxes - so easy to work with- I highly recommend!

Are sales rep Jon mis led us on when our purchase of chairs were to arrive. I called him he said he would get it figured out. 3 days go by and never heard from him. I called him again and he yelled into phone call back. I then called the store to find out about our purchase and was told the date now was delivery on 5/23. I understand that shipments can be delayed though should have been informed through the process. I was also told good thing you called then or my delivery probably would been shifted again. My purchase was delivered today and one has a big crack in it. Ugh. I am a long time customer of Ashley furniture. Never had such bad service!

Robin was great to work with. She even came in on her day off to help me finalize the order so we got our furniture delivered on time. We appreciate her help and the help of the store and look forward to using this location again in the future.

My experience at Ashley Furniture was extremely disappointing. While the furniture itself is of good decent quality, the sales staff completely ruined the experience , especially NAWAL who flat-out lied to us about the product warranty. She convinced us to pay an extra $200 for an insurance plan that turned out to be useless. When we confronted her, even with the invoice showing her name, she denied ever helping us. When she looked up the invoice which clearly had her name on it and then had the nerve to lie again, claiming it wasn’t her and turned away and walked away. Unbelievable. level of dishonesty is unacceptable. DO BETTER ! On top of that, my spouse and I had planned to purchase more items, but this entire situation turned us off completely. In an effort to make up for the bad experience, we were convinced to buy an ottoman, thinking we were getting a good deal only to find out later that it was already on sale online, where shipping is also free. In-store, they hid the online pricing from us and tried to charge us for delivery. We had to push back just to get that charge removed. So let’s break it down: we were lied to about a $200 insurance plan, misled about the pricing of an ottoman, and tricked into believing we were being compensated , when in reality, we still walked away $150 in the red. A $50 "discount" on the ottoman doesn't fix being misled and overcharged. And we walked away with a new purchase. Crazy right? These sales agents have zero integrity. They care more about their commission than about treating customers with honesty and respect. If you’re thinking of shopping here, go in to look at the furniture but do not buy in-store. BUY online where the prices are transparent, shipping is free, and you're not being played and no one is making commission of you.

Great customer service. I personally want to thank RJ Carter, who was our sales associate. RJ was very helpful in making our final selection and completing the purchase without hassle as it was a very smooth process. Furniture shopping can be a bit stressful and tedious but RJ was there to help guide us every step of the way. We were not able to do so, which is not the store’s fault, but the sale associate that greeted us was rude and not helpful. All he needed to do was let us know we needed to pursue a return online. Happy with the product, not so happy with the sales person, she didn't look out for our best price. We had to dig around and finally talk to the manager who okayed our bottom line.

The delivery guys were in such a hurry that everything got rushed and put together fast. Instead of unwrapping everything outside, they did everything in the house and in the bedroom. What a mess I had to clean up. now my five drawer dressers leg is broken. I had to put a claim in which took another extra hour of my time. So here I wait for an email or whatever to get this dresser repaired and I can’t put nothing in it. So it’s kind of a pain. Not so happy!

Absolutely HORRIBLE and not due to the furniture but due to how unorganized corporate is. We checked, double checked, and triple checked to be certain without a doubt that the furniture we bought was in stock and available. We even called the warehouse to be sure our furniture was again, available. Well they have attempted to deliver three times and each time we get a phone call from the delivery people ( who are so terribly horrible they need their own category) telling us they will be here shortly but XXXXX is on back order so we only have part of your delivery. I have never seen such a poorly run co. I will NEVER buy from them again. We went through this with another co recently which is why we went to such great lengths to avoid the same issue. Well we wasted our time this co. will lie just to get a sale. If they stand us up again or don't have all of our furniture on the next delivery I believe litigation will be our next step.

Update: emailed the below and never got a response so there ya have it. I said they don't care and they don't. I spent an additional 100 dollars to get it up to her room, taken out of the box oh, and put together no less. OMG ordered a chair my elderly handicapped mother picked out for her assisted living room on the 4th floor of her building and this is what we got. Cruel and so lazy. I wouldn't do this to anyone much less an old woman in a walker. So now we have to hire MOVERS to get it up to her room and out of the box. Plus they left it outside, I'd fire the delivery people period.

As I have knee injury and was with a walker he suggested a lift recliner, which I wasn't interested in. I did try it out and to my surprise was exactly what I was looking for. Bonus was it had heat and massage also. It will be delivered on Feb 20th. I'm grateful David was kind and aware of what might be beneficial for me now and in future. Do better!!! I waited two weeks for my couch to receive half a couch. No notice or heads up that the chaise was on back order. An idea, don’t deliver a couch unless you have the whole thing OR NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER SO I WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN RID OF MY OLD COUCH!!! Then no one can tell me when the other half of my couch is coming in, right before the holidays as well. So disappointing. First and last time shopping with Ashley furniture. Still no update on this matter either and no answer to anything. Make it YOUR job to inform the customer if an item is not going to be delivered and is in back order before the items even get delivered. Do not send an email with all the items that should be delivered to then come to my door, set up half a couch and leave and think that is okay. I should have been notified and I would have cancelled the entire order or at least held delivery until everything was there. Is still have not had anyone rectify the situation. All I have is half a sofa with no date or anything about the other half of the couch.

I had a great experience with my sales person. He was very attentive to what I needed and kind and he made sure he let me have my space to brouse around to make a decision. I appreciated that and very fast and knowledgeable. I would give a five but two other employees made my experience very unpleasant. A sales lady kept following me around. Even though there were a lot of other customers in the store. Also, while I was looking around and my sales person was busy with another customer. I asked another salesman a heavy set guy a question and he was very rude and acted as if I was bothering him.

0 stars…. Nahid is the woman who helped my boyfriend and I. She was nice and talked about a financing option of paying monthly…. “pay the total under 12 months, no interest”. After a while of her trying so hard to convince my boyfriend and I, she asked for my social security number. I was skeptical because I’ve taken out a credit card before… so I specifically said “Why do you need my social? I do NOT want to open a credit card” and she assured me by saying “You will not open a credit card. This is with the store.” She lied… Never buying from Ashley EVER AGAIN… she did not tell us the truth or any further information. I asked “When will i make the first payment? Where do i make the payment?”. Nahid said “Do not worry, you’ll make your first payment a month after delivery.” She didn’t even say a specific date or where I would make the payment and just like that she said her goodbye and asked for a review on her because “The employee who has the most good reviews wins a free lunch”…. Well here is your review Nahid, you are welcome…. This is our first time buying furniture and we don’t know much.. It is so frustrating that Nahid took advantage of us and just told us the information that SHE wanted to tell us in order to get her commission and a signature out of us. If it is your first time buying furniture, ask all the questions and please DO NOT GO TO NAHID AHMADI!!!

Robin was super quick and helpful! Unfortunately the pleasantries stopped after we bought the bed. Delivery for my bedroom furniture has been abysmal. I was told in December that my furniture would arrive between 1-5. I had a delivery man knocking on my door after 9pm. Mind you both my boyfriend where already getting ready for bed as we have to be up very early for work. Because of this we had our delivery rescheduled for January. The delivery men assembled my bed halfway because they did not have all the pieces. I'm told "sorry, you're going to have to sleep somewhere else because we won't get the pieces tonight" So tonight I'll be sleeping on the couch before working at the hospital in the morning???!!! This whole delivery and assembly has been a headache. If we didn't already have half of the furniture assembled in our bedrooom we would've just returned the order all together.

They made sure that I saw the different options available for what I was looking for. I thought I found the best option that was until they showed me a few options I didn't see The showroom is large and packed but the sales team knows where everything is. I got a piece that I love instead of what I liked.

I have a problem with sleeping on the bed and frame i purchase. Tried to talk to someone in Ashley furniture and Acima. Customer service ignored my complaints. The told me to contact the company I did and nothing was done, the told me to contact the store. I am stuck with a bed i can not sleep in i have gave them money and I am not satisfied. Sounds like a rip off....

Update 3: Still no response from Ashley to schedule delivery of an undamaged center occasional table. I have one damaged center occasional table and two that are not. This transaction has been such a disappointment. Update2: Replacement occasional tables were delivered today with black ink or paint smudges smeared across the surface. The delivery team argued and insisted the smudges were woodgrain, but clearly they are not. I regret purchasing from Ashley. Their furniture has not been worth this ongoing headache and stress. Update1: The Ashley claims inspector was unpleasant and derisive. We’ve now found an issue with our couch, as well. We have been told the damaged tables will be replaced, but due to our negative experience with the Ashley claims inspector, we’re dreading dealing with the couch repair. Original: The sales experience was so-so. Our salesperson and the manager on duty disagreed over whether we should receive a specific discount (we didn't), and the manager wasn't altogether pleasant. After rescheduling our delivery, the three occasional tables were delivered damaged. The delivery staff were not Ashley employees and drove a rental truck. They damaged my door and left so quickly that I did not have time to inspect the furniture. As a result, I did not see the marks and dings on the occasional tables until after signing for the items. Replacement is the only viable option, but we'll see whether the repair technician agrees.

My family is having to use beach chairs in my living room due to unfulfilled promises. I got rid of my old couches in anticipation of my 9/3/24 delivery, per the sales representative. While later reviewing documentation sent by another sales representative, my new set was not expected to arrive till 9/24. I called immediately. Two days later, I was finally told they can deliver 9/14, 10 days after initial promised delivery. I was also promised 24 month financing at the time of purchase. A different representative called me the next day to tell me they can cannot offer 24 months, only 12.

Aquarius was AMAZING! She walked us around the store and showed us the furniture we wanted and similar items to it, so we had options. She was super nice and knowledgeable about everything, able to answer all of our questions. After choosing everything, she helped us through the whole purchase, getting it financed and everything. Nancy did a great job selling us a couch

I have bought several thousand dollars of furniture from Ashley. I have a dresser that is just a little over a year old that has a drawer that won't close properly. I tried for over a month to schedule via the website, customer service line and a text line that nobody ever answers. Out of frustration I visited the Sanford Store where the local team was able to get me an appointment for a repair within a few days. The technician showed up, but sat in front of my apartment in his work van talking to a lady with the AC blowing. Then he switched up and started texting someone (all why I sat and watched for over 20 mins). I walked out to make sure we was an Ashley tech and when he noticed me staring at him he opened his window to ask me if he could help me with something (in an aggressive tone as if I were bothering him). I then told him he was supposed to be there to fix my dresser, but after that I told him to just leave and asked for another tech. Then I get an appointment the next week and at the scheduled time of arrival the Ashley reps were blowing up my phone expecting me to confirm my address (sorry but I was on the other line). Then when I was able to call them back they did not answer and started texting me instead to say I had missed my appointment. My lady was home waiting all day and their technician never even came to my door (again). I have a ring door cam and the tech tried to say we didn't answer the door. When I told dispatch I have a door cam they then said he couldn't find the apartment and it was my fault since I didn't answer my phone. So funny how the delivery people found my door when I was paying all that money, but the repair techs can't even get out of their trucks to knock on the door or ring a doorbell. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I will never buy another piece of Ashley furniture again.

Well editing my review to 1 star and I will never recommend this company to anyone! Had my set for less than a year and it is junk. It made a pop and since then has been sagging on 1 side. Called to submit a claim, the first tech came out and told me nothing was wrong and ordered me new cushions, didn't even want to listen to what I was saying. Called again and had another tech come out, showed him the spot with the issue and he also told me nothing was wrong and it's normal wear and tear. So this couch isn't suppose to even last a year, only 8 months? Such a joke. So now I'm stuck with trash! They don't want to help their customers and obviously don't care if we come back or not. My business will be going elsewhere! Came in today to get a new living room set. Nancy was fantastic and gave us the space we needed to check out everything!

I had the best customer service for young lady named Aquarius! Always with a smile!!!!

Great shopping experience and selection, poor delivery, customer service and communication. Had to be rescheduled 3 times for delivery and when it was delivered person knocked item off wall and broke it. Didn’t say anything when it happened. Other person said something when they were done because he saw water on the floor from where the item fell in dog bowl, took a picture and left said nothing. Didn’t install the anti skid pads on the couch feet. Called about both customer service said tech had to come out to house to see couch to verify not assembled fully and couldn’t mail the pieces. Tech shows up did not get the promised notification with time frame 24-48 hours before, no one is home says in email will wait till 12:43pm, while on phone with customer service he leaves at 12:40pm as I’m telling the rep I’ll have neighbor let him in as I was 30 minutes away. She was unable to reach him and had to reschedule.

Please don't get fooled into the extended warranty. Bought a sectional couch from them and was sold on the extended warranty. they told me "you can stick a knife in the cushion and it will be covered" biggest bunch of BS! The seem is splitting on the cushion, you would think that is covered, sorry I am out of luck. Scam artist! Beware!

They sell damaged furniture! I purchased a sleeper sofa. Received a damaged sleeper sofa. Scheduled a tech to come repair it. The appointment was rescheduled due to tech being over booked. That says it all, if your tech is over booked, how much damaged furniture are you selling? On top of that the foam they call a mattress had mold underneath it. Fooled me once, never again!!!

Bought my so called leather couch 2 years ago for 5k. Within 6 months after cleaning with leather cleaner and conditioner the brown color is wiping off and it's white. Called and no answer at the store phone just rings. Went to the store asked for a manager. He gave me a email and number fur warranty. Sent them pictures as requested. They said they would not cover it. 2 months later a bracket of the recliner portion snapped could not get ahold of anybody.. I'm being told the couch is not leather by a local interior fab shop and I literally had to fab a bracket so it can recline.. I strongly recommend not shopping there as for a 5k couch is not was said to be. They lied and cheated me out of a warranty.

Robin was very helpful and showed patience during this process. I am very pleased with the customer support I received and will be back. UPDATE: Unfortunately that was the extent of my positive experience. A week later we were called and told one of the items from 1 of the 2 bedroom sets we purchased was on back order. Not a big deal. The day we were scheduled to receive our 2 bedroom sets we received a call an hour before delivery that another piece would not be delivered. When the delivery arrived it was a total of 4 pieces including my daughters bed that did not arrive. I called the store numerous times and never heard back from anyone. I also called corporate a few times and they also attempted to contact the manager of the store to no avail. Customer service told me they would contact the store manager so he could contact me. It has been over 2 weeks and I still have not heard from anyone. The 4 pieces eventually arrived 8 days after the initial scheduled delivery. If I was told prior to an hour before delivery about all the pieces missing I would not be upset. But to be called an hour before the scheduled delivery about another missing piece to later see it was more pieces was very frustrating. I went to Rooms To Go for my living room and dining room furniture and 4 days later All the furniture arrived with no issues. Definitely not coming back

As a college student it can be difficult to find a balance between quality and affordability. Entering the store I was greeted warmly by a salesperson named Nawal. Not only was she extremely kind and helpful, but she was also very understanding of the situation. She put a great amount of thought and effort into helping me find the perfect set for my needs. To say I was happy with the service is an understatement. Excellent customer service, can’t recommend her enough.

I went to Ashley’s in Sanford to look for furniture for my new house which hasn’t closed yet. I was fortunate to have an amazing sales person named Nahid to help me decide what furnitures would look good based on the pictures I showed her. At first I told her what I wanted and how my house looked like and she thought quickly about some of my suggestions, even though were good, she gave me better ideas and after I showed her the pictures, Nahid showed me the furnitures she was talking about and suggested in what way to arrange them, it all made sense and I couldn’t be happier. I loved her eye for detail and her knowledge of the furnitures so I told her I will be back once the house closes which is soon and want to only work with her. This was the best experience I have ever had shopping around for furniture. Nahid deserves more than five stars.

We ended up finding a sectional we loved but needed to think on. The next day I returned to purchase the “Larce” Sectional and I was greeted by Nahid. After having just moved to Florida (about an hour away from Sanford) we got to the store approximately 20 minutes before closing. We had anticipated only looking at the bedroom and patio furniture I had spotted during an earlier visit to the store. However, we decided to ask if we had time to purchase the bedroom suite. They said, “Of course!”, and that we could go ahead and purchase the patio furniture if we wanted to (we were doing two methods of payment). Anyway, because of an issue with our financing account (because of our new Florida drivers license), it took almost two hours. Those wonderful ladies stayed until almost 10:00pm to get us taken care! They were amazing! Exhausted, but amazing! Thank you ladies!!!
