I went in to the Sarasota store with my girls and walked around sitting on sofas for about 30 minutes before anyone bothered to greet us. Not coming to us but Glenn was walking by and asked if we were being helped. After speaking with him briefly about what we were looking for he was all in and gave us his undivided attention. He was kind courteous and listened to our needs and took us exactly where we needed to go. We decided on a specific sofa set which he was kind enough to discuss our options delivery and how to move forward. No pushy sales gimmicks just kindness and understanding. Glenn is an absolute asset to your sales team!!! Everything you need without pushing a sale. KUDOS ***** GREAT JOB!

This Sarasota store has horrible Horrible customer service. We were sent the wrong pieces of furniture and have been hassled trying to get the correct pieces ordered and sent. The sales manager Jocelyn horrible to work with, not friendly and does not care at all about customer service. I've been getting the runaround between the Sarasota store and the customer service contact. When I call customer service they tell me the sales manager which is Jocelyn has to email them the okay. Jocelyn told me 2 days ago that she emailed them which she did not. Talking to customer service again today. They still have not received anything from her. This runaround is totally unnecessary for a customer to have to go through this.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience: -Sunday 7/27 My wife and I planned on going in together this Sunday night but she got called in to the hospital. I went alone and was greeted by Kevin. We walked around for about 45 minutes and built a shopping cart of approx $10k in furniture. I told him from the start my wife would be in the day after to review the cart but these are the items she wanted. But yet, when I told him I would see him tomorrow with the wife, he was visibly frustrated that I did not complete the transaction. -Monday 7/28 Wife and I go in and quickly review the cart. She makes a few changes which frustrates Kevin but we complete the transaction. We were with Kevin for approximately 30 minutes. -Tuesday 7-29 I meet my wife there after work as we wanted to take measurements of something we purchased (wasn’t online). Kevin seemed extremely frustrated that we were back again. I told Kevin there was no need to waste his time accompanying us and her and I walked the store solo which is what we wanted. He immediately goes up to a co worker. Dwayne, and I see Dwayne roll his eyes and they began to talk smack. We got our measurements and left. -Wednesday 7/30. We went in with the purpose of adding $3600. of furniture to our order that we saw the day before while walking the store (even though we didn’t think they deserved our further buisness, one delivery from one store would be easier) Dwayne literally walks up to us and says “Kevin is not here and neither is a manager, so whatever you all want to cancel, it will have to wait.” LOL. We walked to the counter and demanded someone just cancel our entire order. Naomi helped us and was terrific!! Naomi = 5 stars. Kevin and Dwayne, you all should not be in customer service, especially sales. You both are a disgrace to Ashley Furniture -

See Lucas if you go to this location !! Great customer service. He was able to do what he could on his end to assist us with a major issue we had with a couch we purchased. My fiancé + I came in a few Saturdays ago + purchased a Bressalyn Place 2 piece Left facing sectional. SHARON was our sales person (regrettably) She made us aware that it was her 5th day on the job. After we applied for the Ashley card/finance program, she placed our order. She asked us about 10 times if we wanted the sectional the way it was shown on the sales floor to which we said no we wanted it left facing which would put the long side on the left. She kept having to step away to go ask her manager if she was doing things correctly. The manager came over at one point to ask us the same question we had been asked over and over. Before we had placed the order Sharon was recommending rugs and all kinds of other stuff. I get that they are in sales but please order what your customer wants CORRECTLY before suggesting all kinds of other stuff they aren't interested in. It was clear she didnt have proper training because she had to step away at least 5 times to ask the manager questions. The manager should of walked her through the entire sale. We got our couch delivered today. We have 1 long left chaise & 1 long right chaise.. NO middle seats & the right chaise is way too long for the area. This isnt even a formation the couch can be complete in as the middle seats are connected to the shorter chaise side. We have family members flying in tonight & we have 2 chaise that 2 people can lay down on. We called customer care and the store multiple times to which they kept BOTH giving us a run around. We had to drive 40 minutes to the store & luckily got Lucas who called an urgent help line. The most ridiculous part of all of this is that we have to wait 48 hours for a phone call or email for the replacement piece then set up a delivery time for them to deliver the piece we need & take back the piece we dont need. We weren't offered a discount or money back even though this is CLEARLY the stores fault. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. The only silver lining was Lucas went above and beyond to help us get some resolution even though it is by no means accommodating to us. We used PTO day for this & will have to use another to deal with this BS. It is really unfortunate that Sharon who messed up our order made commission off us but that should be transferred to Lucas as he is the hero of the day. MANAGERS- TRAIN YOUR STAFF. on their 5th day & first order , a manager should be shadowing them & reviewing the orders before they are submitted. This will be the first and last time we ever use Ashley Furniture. To not accommodate your customers better after a sales persons mistake is unacceptable.

⭐ 1-Star Review: Reguard & Ashley Furniture — Total Scam! I’m extremely disappointed with Ashley Furniture and their so-called “Reguard Protection Plan” — this has been nothing short of a scam. I paid $300 for the furniture protection plan, thinking it would actually protect my investment. months ago — while my store warranty was still active — I called Reguard to fix a damaged sofa. They claimed they would send a package to help fix it, and then made me wait for months with no resolution.Also never been responsible for what they said would fix on the plan. Now that I followed up, Ashley Furniture tells me “you should have called sooner” and that they can’t help anymore because the store warranty expired. But I DID call the Reguard protection plan company that Ashley’s asked me to call and also the warranty was still valid when i called them. They just pushed me off until the warranty ran out. It’s a shady and deceptive system — between Ashley Furniture and Reguard, they’re just hoping you give up. Avoid this protection plan. Avoid the lies. This is how they take your money and do nothing.

Ask for Kevin at the Sarasota florida store..... he's amazing and he will work his magic for a win-win. We love our new sofa, dining table and chairs and our mattress... couldn't be happier worth his service!

If I could give this store a ZERO I would. I recently relocated to Florida. Prior to my relocation I opened an account with Ashley. I tried to order my items online but because they never mailed the card, I was forced to go to the store. I worked with the store manager Wes. He assured me that my furniture would be delivered on the 19th. On the 19th, I received a call telling me that the truck broke down and my deliver window would be pushed back an hour. I called the store, customer and customer at least 15 times after my order window was missed. I was assured my items would arrive. I waited until 10::00pm and nothing was delivered. I also spoke to the driver who told me his truck did not break down. ( lie #1) The next day I called the store furious. Wes was unapologetic and showed no concern for what happened. After treating to come to the store, he told me that my items were on the truck for delivery on the 20th. My items did not arrive and I found out that they weren’t even on the truck( lie#2) I finally spoke to a competent, caring person in the delivery department, who not only personally arranged the delivery for Saturday , she also waived the $299 delivery fee. On the 21st my furniture finally arrived. Shortly after the delivery person, whose helper looked like he just crawled out of bed, arrived, he broke my son’s BRAND NEW TV that was just delivered the week before. It is now July 16th and I still have not been reimbursed for the replacement of the tv and all I keep getting is the run around. I will be taking legal action!!! If you are considering this store RUN!!!
