Lots of nice furniture

What a joke this whole process was. Wife went in to purchase a sofa chase. Never given a receipt and the told a delivery date that initially would've bee. Perfect. Got a text the next day saying the delivery date was for a different date which wouldn't work. Called and rescheduled for a date someone would be home which was today. My wife cleared her schedule and waited patiently at home for the delivery. Never showed, so I called and was told the delivery was scheduled for the following week.... cancelled the order and will not be shopping at Ashely Furniture stores anymore.

Do not Buy from this store and before pay money they are sweet and after paid they are really rude. before order from store they said we have all in stock and when we get delivery they said we don't have in stock and you can get after 2 weeks. i called in store and said need to talk to manager and medi said he is busy without asking him. never buy from this store anymore. worst service ever.... don't buy or order from this store.

The woman at the front, Julie August was pushy and told me she was here to “shop with me” until I mentioned I lived in a different state, she immediately cut me off and said no before I asked her a question. This is why I don’t like shopping at furniture stores because they’re always too pushy and when they know you won’t give them commission, they stop helping.

Worst customer service EVER. Bought a sofa, they delivered the wrong one, yet delivery stated “just keep it, we’ll switch it out later” 3 days later, the sofa breaks. Literally coils are ON THE FLOOR, twisted metal brakes are falling out. Can’t get anyone on the phone, went to the store trying to return the whole couch, and was told “that’s impossible” 3k product falls apart within three days of delivery—and a customer can’t return it? DON’T BUY FURNITURE HERE!

This transaction took place 1500 miles away from the store. We were given many options for payment and delivery. Prices were great and Nancy did everything we needed to complete the sale. We will be doing more business in the future.

Absolutely TERRIBLE service. Went to the local showroom back in September, and told them I was looking for a bedroom set, and that I needed something that day, or the following day. The sales associate said there was no way they’d be able to get me a set by my deadline. So I went a mile down the road and purchased a set elsewhere. Immediately after buying the set at the other furniture store, I went straight back to Ashley to buy a mattress that I was shown when I was there earlier. As soon as I walked in the door, the sales associate said he was just about to call me because they had the set that I wanted at the warehouse, and that they could deliver it the next day. I stated that I had literally just purchased a set at another store because of my time dilemma. He asked if I would be willing to do business with them if they delivered the following day. I honestly liked the Ashley set better, and as much as I hated to do so, I went to the parking lot, called the other store, and canceled my order. I walked back in and told the sales associate that I had canceled my other order, and I would buy the set for him. The following day I’m running errands because I had just moved, and I’m waiting to hear from the delivery guys. By 3 o’clock, I finally call the store to see what’s going on. The lady on the phone tells me that due to “unforeseen circumstances” my bedroom set did not make it on the truck. After telling her numerous times that it was unacceptable, I ask to speak to the manager, whom I believe is named Nabill. The lady just kept naming different dates as to when they could deliver my furniture, and I keep asking to speak with Nabill. Mind you, I still to this day have not heard from him. So I decide to call the warehouse manager who is in Tampa. (1hour north of me). He was very nice, and told me he was sending me $200 in gift cards for my troubles. I had taken the day off to get this furniture delivered, so I tell him that I was on my way to Home Depot to rent a truck, and drive there to get it myself. As soon as I hang up, the receptionist lady from the local store calls me and has the audacity to tell me that they were willing to knock $50 off of my delivery fee. By this point I’m so irritated, I (not so politely) tell her that they will be refunding my ENTIRE delivery fee, considering that I was on my way to RENT a truck, and go get it myself. She tells me that that is not her call, and I tell her once again, to have the manager call me. So they finally agree to refund my $100 delivery fee, and send me an additional $50 gift card. My refund check FINALLY showed up about 6 weeks later, and I have yet to see my $200 in gift cards from corporate, nor my $50 gift card from the store. Also, while unboxing my dresser, I find the corner of a drawer to be cracked, and the corner of my mirror frame to be chipped. I did receive a drawer replacement, but have now been told twice that someone would be coming out to “repair” my brand new mirror. Have not heard anything. This service is absolutely ridiculous.

As soon as we stepped in the door of the Sarasota Ashley Home Store and was greeted by Julie August we knew we where in the right place and with the right person! Julie was absolutely 'The Best' design consultant we have ever worked with, and after seven moves that is truly saying something. Julie's expertise combined with her overall depth of design knowledge is surpassed only by her friendly personality and her desire to make sure we were completely satisfied! She guided us through selecting and coordinating our living room, dining room, master and guests bedrooms along with lanai furnishing. And delivery for most pieces was only a week away. Ashley HomeStore is a great place to shop and Julie August is top notch all the way, you can expect the best when you work with her!
