Came to look for a chair for reading that would be comfortable but also a reasonable price. Rachel greeted us quickly, enthusiastically and let us just wander. She was quick to answer questions and though we were looking for one chair we ended up purchasing two! Excellent price, comfortable and will be delivered next week! Thank you Rachel!
Ashely Homestore does not stand behind their products ! They have NO customer service ! Every employee we make contact with take NO responsibility and claims to have NO authority to help with damaged furniture and unacceptable customer relations !
Working with Rebecca, the salesperson, was great. She was able to customize a set for us to match our price, and walked us through the entire store multiple times to find what we needed. The furniture was delivered broken though. The delivery team dropped it off, and darted out the door without checking that everything worked. We have spent many hours on hold with the customer service team and have had a technician out twice to try and fix the problem. Both times, the technician had to order a new drawer. Both times, the wrong drawer or the wrong part was delivered. We are attempting to contact them for a THIRD time to get the correct part. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AND WE WOULD NEVER HAVE CHOSEN ASHLEY FURNITURE HAD WE KNOWN THIS. WE WON'T BE BACK.
We decided to buy furniture from Ashley Furniture. That was the stupidest decision we made: Ashley has the worst customer service of any retailer I have ever dealt with. I bought a bedroom set and received a damaged nightstand , they promised to return or replace the product and nothing was done, hours on the phone and always making excuses to solve my problem. This company is a scam
I've never seen anything like ashley and salesman john flemming.The worst company and salesperson. They messed up my order so bad and then delivered the wrong bed.Delivery guy over tighten my handle and broke it and still haven't received a new one and the salesman wont answer his phone.I will never buy again from ashley and I use to buy everything from them
Johnny was our salesman and he was awesome! He helped us with our order so that we could have our bedset delivered on the first of the month as we were moving into our new house. If you are going to buy something from Ashley ask for Johnny!! He will make sure all your needs are met! Thanks Johnny and everyone at the Sarasota Ashley location.
HAD A NICE EXPERIENCE WITH THE SALESMAN CHRISTIAN WHEN PURCHASING THE COUCH AND OTTOMAN, WHERE IT WENT DOWN HILL WAS THE 4 DIFFERENT ESTIMATED DATES OF DELIVERY WHEN WE WERE ORIGINALLY PROMISED THAT IT WOULD BE 6-8 WEEKS. I DO UNDERSTAND WITH EVERYTHING GOING ON IT COULD TAKE A LITTLE LONGER BUT ALMOST 3 MONTHS LATER IS A LITTLE EXCESSIVE. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE ANY FURNITURE AT A FUTURE DATE
Bought sofa on line 5 mo in already ripping away from frame... Cheap quality. Glad i saw this before ordering. Anything else. Customer service ???? What customer service. Never again, lesson learned. Well hell just reading some of these reviews wish I'd done that before spending my money. Looks like im not the only one.
I have tried to do business with this Ashley over a few years now and have been dissatisfied and disappointed each time due to various customer service issues and pricing. This last time we attempted to give them our business was much worse. They have tried to price gouge at an unprecedented rate this time. We were looking for a Tempur-Pedic mattress that started at $2899, but when we went to cash out it all came to $4500 with unneeded up charges that They they claimed were imperative to satisfy the warranty. We stopped that sale and checked those claims that we found to be lies. We found the exact same mattress with frame, delivery, etc... everything included for the full price (tax and delivery included) for $2964 at a local, long term mattress store here in Sarasota the hat we have used before with success. Do your homework and variety their claims before you purchase anything from them.
Terrible customer service paid for expedited delivery for a couch paid over 1800 dollars. Was supposed to have delivery today call customer service they told me july 1st. Save your self the time money and headache go somewhere else
Don't go to the Sarasota location. As soon as you pay, good luck actually getting the furniture!
Ashley handled buisness in the on-going Covid -19 with understanding the customers position of not being employed and willing to accommodate their situation. I know my wife and I needed more time to arrange our delivery.
Everything went very smoothly, I will be looking for other items when I get to Florida, hopefully I can still get the 25% in July. Thank you
Do not buy furniture from this store or Ashley in general. Horrific customer service. Salesman ordered wrong bed and only one nightstand. Every piece of the set was broken or wrong when delivered. Delivery people were incredibly rude when we pointed it out. Then when we asked them to take the broken items back they left without taking anything. What followed was days and days of hold times and useless customer service reps who did not take ownership. They tried to make us keep the furniture as they have a "no return" policy. Luckily we hadn't signed for the broken items and that makes them required to pick it up which somehow has taken even more days. Be warned, don't ever buy from them.

Went in june 12 to purchase 2 tables for a house I just purchased. They had no less than 4 of the exact same end tables on their showroom floor and was ready to purchase just one of them including another of a similar style. I was told that I couldn't purchase one of the many same tables on display and that it would have to be shipped to me within a week for $60. I explained that I was only in town for 2 more days and wouldn't be around to receive the delivery and was ok with a floor model. The sales rep said the manager wont sell a floor model and thanks for stopping!!!! So I'm new to the area and only in town for 2 days and you let me walk out unsatisfied? You have a retail store for a reason to sell items!!!! If you walk into a car dealership ate you not allowed to buy the car on display? If you walk into a grocery store are you not allowed to walk out with milk? You had atleast 4 of the exact same tables and you want to ship it to me for $60! I've spent over $30k in furniture with Ashley over the course of 20 years of home ownership and will NEVER again! You know there is a problem when the manager doesnt reply to any of the many bad reviews posted on here. Your store manager is horrible!!!
I work in the ICU here in Clearwater. I am in frontline during covid crisis daily helping patients. I wanted to treat myself with a bedroom set. Nothing has been pleasant. Cried about my experience. I need a call back. 708-790-7271.
LOVE our living room set, and John Flemming was an amazing sales person, just gives facts and does NOT oversell. However we were contacted to give a model number of a lamp that was included in set, and everytime I call all I get is a VM option after hold time, that gives you 5 seconds of record time, an option to add to message in 5 second intervals and is so frustrating!! All I want to do is give John the model number of lamps he needs but aside from driving back to Sarasota to do so, it is quite impossible to get ahold of anyone or even leave a proper VM!
I purchased some furniture from this store; I later changed my mind (prior to delivery) due to the horrible customer service that I received when working with the salesman and manager. After several attempts to get a full refund for my purchase, I have not received my appropriate refund. Now the manager claims that she can’t locate the order. I would strongly warn anyone against doing business at this establishment. Very unprofessional and shady business practices being conducted there.
