Mark McCarthy was our salesman, and we truly can’t say enough great things about both him and our purchasing experience. He was never pushy, remained completely honest about the products, and was incredibly proactive—thoughtfully suggesting items we might like while giving us space to browse other areas of the store. What really stood out was his level of care and professionalism. At the end of our visit, he even took the time to personally walk us out, a gesture that feels increasingly rare today. Mark is truly a gem, and his dedication to customer service made the entire experience exceptional.

Ron our salesman had the greatest disposition knowledge and patience of any salesman I’ve encountered in my 64 yrs

If you want to spend thousands of dollars on garbage-quality crap, come visit us here at Ashley/City Furniture. Ordered dining room table and 8 chairs in December 2025. Chairs came fairly quickly, within several weeks. 3 of 8 chairs came damaged. Filed claim within a couple hours of delivery. They scheduled a tech to come out and look at them. Clearly damaged, we wanted them replaced. Corporate wanted us to let the tech come back to repair them. We didn’t want repairs. We bought new, and expected new. Someone from customer service was supposed to reach out to us. Crickets for weeks. After several attempts to resolve the issue, we finally called our very nice sales rep at the store. She took over and handled the case for us. Corporate tried to get us to keep the 3 broken chairs at full price and offered us a $100 gift card to come back in and buy more garbage. Our sales rep insisted to them we just wanted new chairs. They finally agreed after a 1hr+ phonecall and the order was placed to have them exchanged months later. Finally, MARCH 12TH 2026, our 3 new chairs and table finally arrived. And wouldn’t you know, table is damaged. Can’t even begin to imagine how many more months will go by and how many phonecalls we’ll have to make to get this resolved. At this point, we’d rather eat dinner on the floor than deal with this process again. It’s really too bad because the furniture LOOKS beautiful, the sales associates are very kind, but the corporate customer service and quality are straight trash. $2,000+ dollars, months of waiting and delays, and frustrating phonecalls/emails for broken pieces of particle board. Skip their customer service and go straight to the BBB. I will never buy from these companies again. We just submitted yet another claim. I will be writing another review with an update once I see how they’d like to handle it this time.

Horrible customer service from the manager. Trying to charge us &600 for delivery for one room of furniture. Would not even talk about it. Called another store and they told me $120 to $180. Manager told me they were lying to me. We went elsewhere to spend our $10,000. We will never shop at Ashley’s or City Furniture again !!!

Huge selection of furniture to browse and very professional and patient sales representatives.

I came in yesterday to look for kitchen tables. Ron was courteous and non-hovering as we walked through the store to look at tables! When needed, he was there to answer any questions and I mentioned I would come back the next day with my husband to have him take a look. Again, Ron was available to answer questions and assist but did not “hover” in any way. We made our purchase and he gave us delivery options. It was definitely a pleasant experience.

I found exactly what i was looking for, Mr Ho took me around the store and helped me pick out my new sofa. No pressure. I was in and out in no time.Would recommend him.Mr Ho thank you also fo changing my delievery date.😀

Great experience so far, our furniture is being shipped next week. Our sales representative Jennifer was great and saved us a lot of time walking around aimlessly. She listed to what we wanted, then looked up different options to see if the design was what we described, if it was, she took us right to it so we could try it out. Prices on some of the same furniture ( we saw in other stores) were cheaper there too!

Our sales person was awesome; however, dealing with Customer Service has been a horrible experience. Had to submit a claim as the mechanics on one chair had a glitch. Spent at least 15 minutes on the phone and then was told they couldn’t reach a technician so would call me back. After three days, I had to call them back. Got notification today that the second chair was ready for delivery. Tried scheduling and found myself at Customer Service again. After spending a half hour with online representative, Jessa, during which I had to keep asking if she was still with me, I was given a delivery date, received an email with a delivery date that didn’t match, was given the original delivery date again, and then was told that the item was no longer in stock. So tempted to return the broken chair and cancel our order.

Today I went to Ashley with a specific recliner in mind that the web site said was in “stock” at my store. This does not mean it is in your specific store. I bought some bedroom furniture here a couple of years ago and bought an insurance plan on it. No issues with the bedroom set whatsoever so once the 2 years were up, they sent me an in-store credit to use on anything in the store. Went in today and bought $180 worth of home decor and walked out paying $0 out of pocket!

We went to Ashley's furniture on 8/25. Brittany showed us around and led us to exactly what we were looking for. She was knowledgeable and answered all our guestions. The furniture we picked out was delivered the following day. Ashley's has tons of choices, very happy we went there. And Miss Brittni was fabulous, as well as knowledgeable about the furniture...it was pleasure doing business with her, not pushy at all.

Loveseat has defect that they knew about and have been dealing with for year's and we have been waiting over 4 months for repair which is unacceptable and we took out extended warranty so they should have just brought us a new loveseat ASAP! We haven't even used new loveseat for 4 months now!!! Now loveseat is discontinued and we have to wait till October 29th for parts, that's 6 months! This is totally unacceptable!!!

In the market for a new mattress, my husband and I started our search at Ashley. After about 15 minutes of checking all the beds in the store, no one had acknowledged our existence, even avoiding eye contact. Clerks should be trained to greet customers and offer to help. I noticed the response to negative reviews is " give us 24 hours and we'll be right on it." Never mind; we bought a mattress set at the second store on our list.

Jennifer was such a big help last Saturday. We went in to find a mattress for my mom for her birthday, Jennifer showed us a few and we were going to come back with momma on wed but I received a text from Jennifer on Sunday that if I were to get a mattress that day that was $699 or over that we get a free adjustable base, so after work mom and I ran down there. Jennifer was with another customer but she introduced us to another sales lady by the name of Mary, which was one of the sweetest women I’ve ever met. Between the two young ladies, we found the perfect mattress and got a bonus adjustable base that will be here tomorrow. We are so excited thank you again. We will be back for more furniture when the time comes.

Absolutely can be an overwhelming experience with all the furniture to choose from. Mary was an absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable sales person. We could not have done it without her expertise.

Worst store horrible sales representatives the delivery service is a complete joke. I ordered a bed set dresser’s night stand and they showed up to my house with a headboard never even had any of the rest of the furniture that I paid for scheduled for any delivery when the delivery driver showed up, they told me that they’re not putting together my bed that that’s my problem. My husband and I own a moving company and he did not get home from work until 10 PM. Him and My Son were up until 1 o’clock in the morning, getting the bedroom ready for the furniture to be delivered today on Thursday and then they showed up with a headboard and a footboard and refused to even put it together. had no idea about the rest of the bedroom furniture because the sales representative Mark never scheduled a delivery. For any of the rest of the furniture that I was charged for do not use ashley Furniture in Stuart go anywhere but there rooms to go is definitely a better option! And I’m going and filing complaints with the US Attorney General’s office.

I actually, can afford to shop in more high-end furniture stores than City furniture and Ashley, but my experience has been so positive with them over the years that I always start with them first. This is the number 1 furniture selling retailer in the United States and Canada. You don’t get to be the top dog by being a slouch. Within minutes when my wife and I walked into the store, Millie Haskour eyed us and gave me a thumbs up from across the room. Millie came to be our emissary in a sea of choices and also our new best friend. Millie must be one of the top sales people at the facility in Stuart. She’s sweet. She smells good. She knows her stuff. She knows how to engage a customer and she knows how to close the deal. She was extremely helpful in picking out the right couch and all the accoutrements to go with it. When we had questions she had answers… and if she didn’t know the answer she readily admitted it and got the right guy or gal involved to get the answer. Now be aware, this is not a corporate owned shop… I don’t know the exact term of what it is relationship to the parent company, but the fact that it is “once removed” does not mean you will be extended the same deal that you receive in your e mail from the main corporate entity. Be that as it is, Millie got her manager involved in our negotiation and then the manager’s manager to structure a deal that worked for both sides. Be a smart shopper when buying anything. Ask questions. And if you get concise clear answers, they are the folks to go with. If you feel rushed or not appreciated, walk out the door and be on to the next. We got concise, clear answers. Giving the Sales person 5 stars however, overall a 4 star. The Delivery/shipping on the order took FOREVER to figure out and fix. Shipping was not offered on original order, only Delivery with fees. I do not need to pay movers to bring a chair into the home. Fees went from 496.00 down to 229.00 after going back and forth. We even had to get a manager involved. I feel the shipping (bring to your door only, free) vs. delivery (professional setup w/fee) should have been disclosed prior to typing up the offer and let the customer decide which route they wish to take. Heavy items, sure, definitely need the delivery men to bring into house and set up but dining chairs, pillows, cushions should not automatically be keyed in with delivery fees. Let the customer decide.

Ashley Stores always seem to have a nice variety of styles and pieces so I'm not disappointed when I head in there because I know I will find something to fit my needs. The sales staff are knowledgeable and willing to help pull things together. It's a beautiful store, nice and light and filled with trendy groupings. Lisa, who works in the City Furniture side, helped me find what I needed and it went smoothly. A pleasant experience, again!

We live in NY Just ordered a sleeper couch with a chaise on the phone for our new winter home in Port St. Lucie Spoke with Raymond who made every thing simple with order and delivery. So far great experience. Cindy & Lonnie McCoy

Michael walked us around as I searched for night tables for my bed. We finally found lovely white ones. I also really enjoyed seeing your line of sparkly furniture as well as your children's section and the more modern furniture. It was actually fun in that section and I appreciate that Michael was happy to show me.

I visited this store twice and both times I was not approached by anyone. I had to locate a sales associate after waiting about 10 mins to get assistance in purchasing a dining room table.

My friend purchased a sofa and added the extra insurance for $400. Recently just moved, and the sofa has some wear and tear. Called the insurance, adjuster came out, reported my friend had pets. Insurance voided his claim due to him having pets, claiming the pets damaged the sofa. Prior to purchasing the sofa and offering the insurance, there is no question if pets are living in the home. This is insane and a rip off. If it was not a discretion before purchasing the furniture, how can it be used to void a claim for repair. I'll never shop here.

Great experience with a great sales person Nicholas Desimone. We found great products at great prices. Recommended The prior review was for a purshase in Feb. The newest one is for a purshase in April with Millie Haskour as our sales rep. She was awsome very professional made our experience very pleasant. Recommended

They Won’t Ever pick up the phone when you call! We show up at the store and only a few customers so not sure the difficulty in picking up a phone. However out salesman JR was very nice.

Just purchased a sectional from Brittany, at Ashley furniture. Everything went quick & smooth! Brittany was awesome she totally remembered us from the day before (black Friday) pretty impressive for any person in sales let alone on black Friday! At the end of the transaction she told us she was basically a new hire and had to grab a mgr to look over our invoice/transaction, I was in shock learning she was new! She's definitely a keeper and a great sales person!!! Thanks Brittany, ur awesome!

The worst experience. Customer service is unhelpful . Damaged my ceiling and blamed it on a new set up crew. Premium service delivery never apologized just took a picture and said call customer service which offered $100 store credit to fix a $600+ patch and repaint. They would not even let me return the furniture. Furniture has dents and dings throughout and they installed the slats wrong because they could not find the original hardware. DO NOT BUY HERE!! Better off with RTG or Amazon.
