Last Saturday, we visited several furniture stores to furnish our new home. We didn't need to go to another store. We received special treatment from the entire Sawgrass store team, especially Miss Lasso. We are very grateful for the advice and time they gave us.

I walked into the Ashley store and was greeted by this big tall man who asked me what I needed and he showed me my options for a high top Kitchen table then he gave me time to find the chairs I needed then I got him to order me my 2 chairs. No pressure at all. He combined all items to arrive in 10-12 days and I chose option to assemble myself. i knew Ashley furniture had what I wanted but John was a great help.. we won’t hold it against him that he didn’t go to UM 😂…So you want a cool sales associate ask for tall John, he’s 6’8” you can’t miss him!

John Levitz was fantastic! We went back about three times (probably driving him a little crazy), but he always took great care of us. He was so patient and helpful, making sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. If you’re shopping at City Furniture in Sawgrass, definitely ask for John! They were not willing to make a sofa purchase work with another store for a sofa for my daughter in another state with out overcharging almost 1,000 in a delivery fee. Definitely wasn’t a welcoming or caring environment. Would not recommend

Upon returning home, I looked up the same chair on the official Ashley Furniture website and noticed that its regular price was listed as $399, with a promotional 4th of July sale price of $319. Concerned about the price difference, I returned to the store to inquire. I was informed that the higher price was due to the store being a franchise and that pricing could vary by location. However, I pointed out that the online pricing reflected my zip code and still showed $399 as the standard price—not $499. After some discussion, the store agreed to honor the online sale price of $319. Although I ultimately chose to cancel my order, I wanted to express my disappointment with the overall experience. The inconsistent pricing and multiple explanations for the discrepancy made the transaction frustrating and unclear. While I appreciate the eventual offer to match the online price, the process leading up to that resolution was unnecessarily difficult.

But walking into Ashley’s was a completely different story. I was greeted by Lance, who was friendly and respectful. When I told him I preferred to browse on my own, he didn’t hover or pressure me—he simply let me know he was available if I needed anything. After about 15 minutes, Lance let me know he was heading out and kindly introduced me to Edili, who picked up right where he left off with the same helpful and courteous attitude. Once I was ready to get serious about purchasing, Edili ran around the store with me—literally—checking stock, comparing prices, and making suggestions that actually aligned with what I needed. By the end, I had several thousand dollars’ worth of furniture in my cart. Even though I had already selected everything, both Edili and the General Manager took the time to look for ways to reduce my delivery costs and make sure I felt taken care of. When the GM left, he made sure Carla, another manager, would assist us through checkout—and she truly went above and beyond. My phone battery was dying, and without hesitation, they brought me a portable charger so I could finish my order without worry. From top to bottom, this team was incredible. I can’t speak highly enough about the service I received from Lance, Edili, Carla, and the GM. Ashley’s should be proud to have a staff that genuinely cares about the customer experience. We waited days and called again, were told again we'd get called back still never did. I called every other day for a week. Almost every time I called, the recording told me it was high call volume. When I finally did get through, all three of the workers I needed to talk to were out until 3 days away. When that day arrived I still never got called back. I waited a couple more days and called again, it was told I'd get called back in 20 minutes, waited a few hours, never did, called again & finally got through. Manager said he did not receive my text messages about another little matter he asked me to text about, so now we have to go back in the store in person to finish business and to be able to order the furniture.

What a wonderful experience it was shopping at Ashley today. We went to Rooms to Go first and were met with someone who clearly wasn’t interested in showing just a chair so he went to help someone else. Couldn’t find what we were looking for so went next door to Ashley . Met a wonderful salesman named Haneef. Such a warm and caring person. All salespeople should be like him. Went couch shopping today and had the opportunity to have Lance as our sales associate. Lance was extremely knowledgeable about Ashley’s couch selection, down to colors, fabric performance, and what they had in stock. He helped us find a configuration we were happy with and fit our measurements, and he discussed the pros and cons of the different payment options. We are extremely happy with our couch, and would 100% recommend anyone to this store, and specifically to Lance.

As my family and I entered the store we were greeted with the brightest smile from Carlos who made us feel very welcomed. We were also greeted by Jordan the manager who mirrored the greetings and made us feel like we were family. We will continue to get our home needs met at Ashley because of Carlos and Jordan.

Didn’t get A real receipt, shows I still owe 280 lol they wanted to charge me $580 for delivery and set up then cut it down to 280 I paid it. but online it was always 175 pretended I was getting a deal but I didn’t. Good to see it in the showroom, I just ordered a bedroom set afterwards and did it online. Go to the store to check quality but order online.
