Hello, I went to Ashley* on Sunday to get something really simple a small table I needed. The sales rep was nice but he kind of messed up. We had to pick it up at city furniture today but the scheduling for today was closed so he put it for Tuesday and said that when he comes in work Monday morning, he will Change his schedule from Tuesday to Monday and he did not. That just shows me he truly did not care at all

John Levitz was our sales associate he was so helpful, considerate, accommodating and personable. I was having trouble deciding on first the style I wanted it didn’t really work in our room and I kept trying to make that style fit. John made several suggestions and tried very hard to make it happen but it just wasn’t going to work out. Secondly I found a fabric & color I really loved but it only came in style couch that didn’t fit my room. Looking thru whole store I finally found a style couch with large rectangular separate ottoman in the material and color I was happy with. John was so patient with me changing my mind over my 2 visits to Ashley’s. We feel he is a great asset to your sales team. Thank you John for helping me find a couch and ottoman I really like, you’re a very good sales associate.

The prices, their 'Green' Initiatives, selection and sales! Lance took his time with me, helped me save on a bed frame Buy suggesting this great platform thingy which was only $119. Ended up buying my mattress there as well. $1000 discount and best mattress EVER! When you're in the market for furniture I would suggest stoping by there, note their prices, and their quality and then go shopping, and I guarantee you will probably come back and buy from them. Make sure to ask for Lance! Oh oh and by the way, I live in the keys, The Mattress wasn't able to be delivered til a week after the sofa but they only charged me one delivery fee, for two different deliveries. They have an amazing policy when it comes to fabric protection too, customer service is on top of it, I can't say enough....!!!!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

My experience is the store was great but when it came to delivery it was not worth it. I didn’t get a direct time and date for shipping just a up in the air type of deal. 😠

I recently had a deeply unsatisfactory experience with Ashley furniture regarding a furniture purchase in December 2023. Despite scheduling the delivery of an item months in advance, I received a last-minute cancellation message for the second time this month , stating that the item was out of stock. Despite speaking with two supervisors, I was offered a measly $50 credit as compensation, which I found to be insulting given the inconvenience caused. What's more, I was provided with no guarantee or firm date of arrival for the item, and when I requested contact information to escalate my complaint via email, I was informed that the company does not provide such information. This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable. I urge potential customers to think twice before purchasing from Ashley Furniture], as their customer service is severely lacking, and they do not prioritize resolving issues in a timely or satisfactory manner.

1,000/10 Lance did an amazing job helping us stay in budget and informing us of the quality of all the products. We went in there knowing exactly what we were going to leave with and we did just that. It was a quick in and out with no bumps along the way. Customer service was on point. Definitely recommend💅🏼

DO NOT BUY ANY FURNITURES FROM ASHLEY we have had such bad experience with customers service and warranty claims,me and my wife purchased a sectional on 11/5/2023 costing us 4k, from the sawgrass location to 2 months later it started falling apart peeling it’s a factory defect, we open up a claim and all they did was send us new covers (same material) and once I replaced it started peeling again, no one in store, or claims are able to resolve my issue this 4k furniture it’s falling apart only 4 months old. You call the warranty dept and they say it’s not covered under the warranty ( factory defect) I’m going to contact distric attorney office to file a complaint as there’s no resolution!! We been dealing with this issue 3 months!!

With just 4 months…. We have reached out to corporate and they are not wanting to accommodate after we’ve spent thousands of dollars here. We’re very displeased with the service. We had just bought our sectional about 4 months in now and it’s already peeling. Called customer service, even went all the way up the chain to management and no one has helped with my issue. We spent a lot of money on this couch, needless to say our experience with this company is poor! I would say Before making a purchase make sure your seller knows a lot about your purchase and that they aren’t just selling it to you to make their commission so you don’t end up like we did with a couch we constantly have to put blankets over so it doesn’t peel even more then what it already has done!

Don’t buy from here!! If I can give no stars I would!!! My family purchased a sectional 11/23 and it’s been 4 months and the material is peeling. No one is helping and I’ve reached out to corporate and the store and they are not fixing the issue. Poor management and everyone is rude.

Dont purchase anything from this store ,I Purchase a 6 seater Tanavi2 beige sectional I paid almost over 4k for them to after a few months they all started peeling (lint all over the couch) I called spoke to Janel who open a claim for me and supposedly offer me as courtesy 6 cushion replacements to fix the issue , only received 4 of cushion replacement only that by the way it’s the same material and this will continue (peeling)again Same fabric .,I called again spoke to escalation customer service department names who I Erica, aura, tasaría, Marla ,Juan palacios who by the way was so rude and sarcastic ,no empathy as I complaint and explained my situation !! the worst customer service they would say they call you and they WOULD NOT !!I had to call them back periodically to check on Status I asked to speak to someone higher in the escalation department a manager and aDanielle of customer service called an offer me an electric peeler so I can use on my couch to remove peeling every-time costing $12.00 from Amazon to solve my issue from When I am requesting a furniture exchange !!I was informed that my issue was resolved by them sending me the replacement of cushions and they said that they are. A different material this time when they are not!!ITS THE SAME cheap material That in a few months the peeling will come back (lint ) , I’m very disappointed with CITY furniture/Ashley in the past few weeks I had such bad experience !!with claims customer service To the point of my blood pressure went up!! I still didn’t get nothing resolved, don’t buy anything from this store!!!!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to them !!! I can give city furniture or Ashley furniture a 0 I would for all the inconvenience and stress I been put through on buying such an expensive couch I,purchased an Sectional 11/2023 not knowing that the furniture is made with poor material and not to mention very uncomfortable , it’s been a nightmare with customer service they keep sending me the covers and cushions inserts to replace them and it keeps doing the same peeling , and flattening it sinks in and separates in between each sectional where things fall in between they don’t hold together , I’m disabled with a spine hernia disc and cannot sit on them!!. Perceived savings at Ashley Furniture are not worth it. However, if you like to deal with incompetent and dishonest sales staff then Ashley is your store. They do not only misrepresent their merchandise to make a sale, they do not stand behind the subpar product they sold you. Buyer beware!

I was looking for a mattress / boxspring set. We were working with a salesman but he as called away to help another customer and said he’d be back, but he never did. We helped ourselves alone. I felt that was kind of rude. He could have asked a different rep to help us. After 20 mins we left. I did buy a click and the salesman did ring it up. That was it.

Without a doubt the worst furniture buying experience I have ever had. From refusing to honor their OWN online price versus in-store price (a $500 difference) to delivering without set up (which we paid for) to only delivering part of the furniture set and not responding to follow up requests for updates on when the missing items would be delivered (as of Dec 23 we still don't have all items we paid for on Nov 17th). Will absolutely never ever return.

Excellent Service

I bought a couch on Nov. 19, 2023 and was told I would have the couch delivered by Nov. 28, 2023. I was told the couch was in stock so I shouldn't have any issues with back orders. I was also told I would receive an email and text message the day before to confirm delivery. I did not receive an email or text message on Nov. 27 to confirm delivery (even though I received many other emails from Ashley Furniture including marketing emails - yes, I even checked the spam folder). So, I tracked my order this morning and it displayed a new delivery date of December 8th. I reached out to City Furniture customer service because Ashley Furniture is part of City Furniture and City Furniture is the one that handles the deliveries. I was told my order was cancelled because I did not confirm delivery and was given to the next person in queue. I asked for proof that they emailed me but they could not provide any proof. I offered to pick up the item but they said even if I pick up the item I would not be able to pick it up until December 8th because now it's back ordered. I was also told by Juan in customer service that he was the highest authority I could speak to in any department in City Furniture and that anyone I spoke to would give me the same response. He also said it would be 24-48 hours before a supervisor could get back to me. So, lesson is - if you buy an item here and it's readily available just rent a U-Haul truck and pick it up yourself, do not wait for shipping because they have very poor logistics management.

It's been 3 months and I'm still waiting for my money. I have called over 7 times and all I get is, "the check is in the mail"!

I was trying to get some resolution regarding a discrepancy with my recent purchase. Waited for weeks for them to find the correct candle tube for my wall sconces. Finally, after nearly 4 weeks I was told that they were on clearance when I bought them and therefore they will not offer and assistance. I felt as if I was misled from the onset. I had the extreme displeasure of dealing with Jordan at the Sawgrass store today. It was not a pleasant experience for me. This man should not be in a management position in my opinion. Be careful with that store. They said everything is on sale and he never said it was on sale because it was broke. This manager Jordan had a very nasty attitud.

Garbage service. They discontinued my product while I had insurance which was fine I understand that. They told me that due to inflation prices were adjusted and I wouldn’t get a credit adjusted to inflation which I can also rationalize. Because I placed a big order My original order was discounted so they didn’t want to give me the full price of my original product. when I inquired of a new product They ran my credit card that was on file without my permission or authorization. Complete disgust and aggressive fraud.

I had a terrible experience with an Ashley store in Miami. This Sawgrass store is the exact opposite due in large part to the manager. I bought two showroom book shelves that were half off. Our sales rep, John (you can't miss him, trust me), was very friendly and easy to work with. The manager, Britta, was amazing too. She went above and beyond to help me out and make sure i was happy and that the whole experience was pleasant. I received a premature email that my order was ready to pick up, due to the chat bot, and instead of turning me away to come back another day (which has happened many times before with other businesses in this situation), she got right to work making it happen. The Sawgrass Ashley location is now at the top of my list when it comes to furniture.

I had a very smooth experience purchasing my bedroom furniture here. My sales associate Sharka "Shak" Webster was very helpful with purchasing. The delivery was quick and flawless. I noticed a scratch on the footboard and was able to easily report it on the phone and within 2 days they had someone out here to fix it for free. Shak then followed up with me to make sure everything was up to par which I really appreciate. Very pleased as this was a much easier process than expected!

Bought a “marble table” with extended warranty. 1st it is not marble so you lied to your customers, 2nd there is no such thing as warranty. Updated: After 2 weeks of calls and email, they offered $150 store credit, instead of $500 rebate + $370 price match. This is after I spent more than $11,000 between City Furniture and Ashley, which are basically same company. I don't understand how they can be run their business this way. Just avoid both stores!!! I had the worst experience here ever. I was promised to get 500 dollars discount if I open up a credit card with them and spend over 3000 dollars. I bought extra bar stools, so it would be over the limit. They are telling me I didn't open the right credit card, so I won't be getting the rebate. The sales person told me that I would get the rebate as long as I open a credit card with them. He told me to open up this one, since the other one was having a technical issue. Also I bought 2 dining sets and 4 bar stools here, total of 3,530.98. I paid 1,899 for the main dining and 899 for smaller dining table set. I later found that the main dining room set is 1,719 on the website and went on sale for 1,599. Also I paid 70 more for the smaller dining table set vs. website. But they would not match prices, since the website items are backordered. I have been calling and emailing them for days now. I am still getting no response, saying their managers are too busy. The worst customer service I ever experienced with so much attitude and runaround. I would not recommend shopping here.

Our bedroom furniture is great. We were also originally looking for a king-sized mattress/bed, but the store associate said they didn't have any Sealy products, and Sealy is outdated. We popped into a competitor, and they had Sealy products so we went there instead to get our mattress. We did however purchase bedroom furniture such as the dresser, mirror, nightstand, and the headboard and frames for the mattress from Ashley Furniture. John M. helped us out with the ordering, delivery and follow-up. We also received our generous gift cards for buying the furniture during Thanksgiving/Black Friday sales in 2022. Delivery was good and furniture has been stable for around three months now, and hope it stays that way for decades. I did have to mark off two stars due to it being a hassle with following up with John M. and the store owner with having to take off the 1-year warranty for $169. Had to call corporate Ashley/City Furniture to nudge them as they either didn't want to take it off, weren't picking up the phone/responding to emails, or just were very slow to my request. Even though I didn't want it in the beginning, John did say we can remove the 1-year warranty after it being delivered, so I said all right and will call after delivery and two weeks of having it.

We have purchased several items from Ashley, and with each purchase came an experience of not being pressured by any sales person, but having been guided through the store to look at multiple pieces and ultimately for us to make the decision on our own, without pushy persuasion. The most recent table that we just bought a few days ago is due to arrive only several days after we purchased it and our sales person called us to let us know that table has since gone on sale so they have refunded us the sale price difference.

I am not sure where some of these positive reviews are coming from, but our experience is not a good one. We bought a large L-shape sectional leather sofa. It was delivered and set up in a hurry and incorrectly. Calling their service department was useless. Recently the parachute handle broke and the recliner malfunctioned. It took four days, speaking with (7) people, leaving messages and sending e-mails until Ashley told us that the part "IS UNDER WARRANTY BUT WE NEED TO COLLECT $50 TO SEND A REPAIRMAN WHO MAY NOT BE ABLE TO REPAIR IT !!!!". The warranty means nothing. Due to incorrect assembly when in a hurry, the other recliner in the set squeaks terribly, but I decided it was not worth wasting hours with people who did not care to address the repair issues. So I will get a furniture repairman to take care of problems that Ashley store told us are "under warranty". In the future, I will go to a furniture store that carry QUALITY FURNITURE and honor their warranty when needed.

Worst experience ever! Purchase 8 chairs, paid almost 3k for them to receive ALL of them damaged and stained. When requesting an exchange I was informed the chairs were the last ones as the item was discontinued. Store knew these were the last batch, the one that had defects and sold them as NEW.

To make an exchange for a sofa you need to call customer services and they don’t even help you plus they don’t even tell you that they are a franchise from city furniture. So you waste your time calling the number online that is Ashley furniture corporate. Then I go the staff at the store with customer services ob the phone and they star laughing because I am calling the wrong customer services number.

Hello fellow neighbors! I was just at Ashley's furniture in sunrise near the sawgrass. Let me tell you I went there with my girlfriend who bought a dinning room table in May of 2022. She had to refuse the delivery because there was something wrong with the table the first time and now after four times of having the service department come and refusing to do something with the table because the table is peeling she is at her wits end. So we went to the store this morning to our surprise they are professional at passing the bucks once you buy and they also sale you the extended warranty. And the the table is warranty the first to three years with the store. The manager says it's out of there hands. The warranty department don't want to talk to the staff at the store. That's the manager and employees at the store. It's unheard of , a store manager should have the best interest for the customers so they can have repeat customer wouldn't you think? They obviously have one thing on there mind. Screwing people that must be there motivation and goals Good luck to who ever goes in there because once you pay for the furniture you are on your own.

If I could give a lower review than 1 I would!!! There customer service is pathetic! I went to the Sunrise location and I ordered a couch and mattress, got a delivery date, they never showed up after I took time off of work! Lance the salesman never answered multiple emails, contacted manager Sergio who was rude and un accommodating stating they were on back order for another month and a half! No one contacted me to even tell me the delivery date changed! I cancelled my entire order… my advice… go somewhere else

Be aware that when you get your item make sure that you checked after the person put it together. When they left I checked and the item was broken Awesome the drawer side rail als. I was so disappointed call customer care they told me they can give me $100 back mind you my son bed cost 1600 and also if I didn’t want $100 back they could give me a gift card for $200 which expires in February I did wait for them to try to fix it it’s not fixable is flimsy be aware Ashley furniture is not to be trusted. Worst customer service now I have a $200 gift card which I’m not even sure what I could use it for horrible don’t buy from Ashley furniture they are the worst check your item if you do make sure they don’t damage it while building it.

I have a year with a sectional and they already change it 3 times. I novemeber 2022 they send me two pieces of my sectional for the 3rd time and is already SINKING and the other 3 pieces are out of stock!! and they still doesn’t let me reselect. NEVER BUYING HERE AGAIN! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I started at one store and ended up going to the other to finalize the purchase. Both people made sure that I had everything that I needed and went out of their way to complete the sale even sharing the commission. It was a great experience.

I purchas3 a platform bed with draws. I purchased it 12/16/2022 11:01a.m. , they delivered my boxes so I could assemble my bed. Delivery was approx 8:10 a.m. Received closed taped boxes, opened and started assembly approx. 9 a.m. found broken parts. They didn't not help me as of yet. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.. IT GETS WORSE. PART NOT GOING TO BE DELIVERED TILL DEC 24TH. ILL BE IN NEW YORK. HENCE I HAVE NO WHERE TO SLEEP.

Today is November 11th 2022. I received my sofa delivery which was missing 2 seat cushions. This shouldn't surprise me. City Furniture bought Ashley Furniture and I gave them a 2nd chance thinking my delivery would arrive intact. City Furniture sucks. Do not buy anything from them, they cannot keep their promises to provide a delivery which includes your entire order.

Only giving 5 stars because there's no option for more...My wife and I went in to finish up some decorating our home. While giving us our space and the opportunity to dicsuss potential decisions, Maxine was patient, helpful, and extremely accommodating while we shopped. We did the mattress test, and even though we decided to not buy, she gave us a lot of information on how we could get the best out of our mattress. It was an amazingly hassle-free experience.

So ……. My furniture delivery guy came. Told me he was late because he had a delivery for a Miami Dolphins player and they had to make sure everything was “perfect”. Well……I pay too and when I asked him to look at a couple of areas on the bed he delivered, he seemed put out , he told me “To call customer “service and acted like he didn’t want to look at it. Shame on your drivers Chipped furniture. Installed sloppy/incorrectly and a couple of “ manufacturing” problems. We submitted a claim.

We had a great experience with Alex at the Ashley‘s furniture sawgrass location. He was not pushy, he asked us a few simple questions showed us exactly where we can find the style of furniture we were interested in but yet at the same time giving us space and not over crowding. He was great at helping us narrow down what would fit best i our home. Educating us on materials and dimensions, and if they would fit in our home space. He gave us our payment options as well as financing options. Sent us an email with the list of furniture we liked. A few days later we contacted him and the whole transaction ran very smooth from start to end. Definitely recommend Ashley‘s furniture as well as Alex’s great customer service.

So far horrific experience with this store. Every time we call to find out when are furniture is going to be delivered we get different stories. So far we have spoken to 5 "store managers" ( i think they all them themselved managers) and recieved 5 completely different stories. They dont even have the same story - they have not clue where our furniture is. We ordered specific items because they were 'In Stock" and ready to be delivered within 10 days. So far it has been 7 weeks and some of our furniture wont be delivered to October as it was "out of stock". The furniture is being shipped to an apartment in Tampa and we bought it in Plantation Florida. Then when the deliver was happening they said, "oh we did not know it was going to Tampa we cant deliver if for a few more weeks now". UNREAL. I was told the salesman made a mistake that the furniture was in stock. LIES. If feel we were told is was in stock to make a sale and not his problem after he charged my credit card. Funny thing between my son and I we have called the store about 15 times and the salesman NEVER called us back. His name was Alan. I have spoke to the managers, Gigi, Jordan, Christina and can not recall the others. When a bed frame was delivered they dropped in on the floor and damaged the floor the wall and the furniture. A claim was filed same day and to date nobody has returned a call on it or returned an email. I have also reached out to the VP of sales , The CEO Ronald Wanek on linked in and have not heard back. DO NOT SHOP here. NIGHTMARE.

Most of the furniture this store have ñ, look nice but is poor quality, cheap wood and cheap finish. This is going to be the 4th time I have a claim of the warranty of this product. Every time I make a claim this store give me a hard time to fix it. My advice is to buy furniture in this store in outlet and no warranty. It's better for you to fix the furniture yourself and pay 70% off the retail price

Shack was very friendly help and patient. My wife and I were looking for a square,high top table and chairs. Shack took the time to show us everything he had in the show room. When my wife showed him that the corporate price was cheaper than the store price he promptly matched the price.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I went into the store and selected a brown table with two white chairs and two brown chairs. The delivery came and one of the white chairs was very dirty. I called customer service and they told me that I can't return the chairs (the white ones) or do a new selection on the chairs. All I could do was get them exchanged out. When the drivers came to exchange the chair they brought a chair that was even more dirty. As a result I called customer service again and asked them for a refund or an exchange for brown chairs since they could not deliver clean white chairs. Again I was told no, and that I could have them cleaned or have them replaced with more white chairs. I wanted my money back, but the representative only scheduled another delivery for a white chair. For the third time another dirty white chair was brought to me on July 4th and I sent that one back. I am still waiting for this issue to be resolved. I called customer service this morning 7/6 to speak with a manager and I was told that one would call me back in 24 hours. This is bad customer service and bad business overall. I still need this resolved..smh.

Staff was super friendly and didn’t hover. Jay Mussington was awesome and listened to our needs to find us the pieces we need (I was partial to a manual recline loveseat and he found it with ease). He also took his time to ensure my mom found the right mattress that suited her comfort level. Will definitely recommend and you should definitely work with Jay!

We came in with only about 45 min before closing. Our sales person, Conor, was very helpful. We needed very specific items, couch and dining table, and he took time to show us the selections they had. He also told us what was available right away vs waiting some time (I guess the usual supply chain issues). He explained very well, the packages, delivery options, how the store credit terms worked if we wanted to use that. Then he worked worked with his manager to come up with a bit better deal than what it showed. We're happy with our purchase that we will receive next week. So, give this store a try. And I can't speak for the other sales people, but maybe all for Connor, as I think you will be happy with his service!

Nicholas Patterson was very caring, knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time I needed to help me find the right electric lounge chair and did not pressure me. What really impressed me, was he kept track of which chairs and what about them I liked and disliked. So he was able to guide me to the perfect one. We have bought other quality furniture here several years ago. Even after sale, I noticed they had put our old phone number down for delivery. I emailed Nicholas and within a half hour, he contacted me saying he put right Information in. Thank you for such a great experience.

My salesman was very good…but I got 2 different bills, 2 different amount. Then I was charged $899 for a coffee table and on-line it is listed for $660? I’m still awaiting to see why the difference??

Do not do walk into an Ashley furniture or city furniture store!!! I purchased a sofa 6 months ago with delivery and assembly included.... I was told the sofa was backordered and it was supposed to arrive around 3 months after the purchase... it never did... I went to the store 3 months and a half after the purchase and I was told in another month or so the sofa should arrive... it never arrived... last week an email arrived about the delivery stating that the sofa arrived and the dates available to be delivered... I chose Monday May 2nd (today)since it was the only day available after a week of receiving the email and took that day off at work. The delivery arrived through a third party delivery company and the first thing they say is if I have someone to bring it up to the unit (since I live in a building) because they do not bring it upstairs nor assemble the sofa. Extremely bad experience!!! I will never purchase at Ashley or City furniture again!!!!

I ordered a 8pc dining set in Nov2021. I received my first items (4chairs) on 26Jan 2022. I realize the delay may have been caused by short on inventory and understandable. Then it all went south! Right off the bat, 3 of the chairs either had damage or was assembled poorly. On 3Feb a repair person came out. Was able to resolve issue with 2 of the chairs and wanted to patch up the legs of the other two. I refused. I paid good hardworking money on new furniture, and that's what I deserve. In the meantime, my table and one backless stool finally arrived on 9Feb. Surprised I didn't have any issues with those items. Again on 9 Mar they sent replacement stools for exchange of damaged Items. One chair was ok, but 2nd chair has damage. On 15Mar a chair was supposed to be delivered but I got a call saying the chair got damaged during the delivery so I needed to reschedule for 22Mar. Then Ireceived a call saying they had to cancel for this delivery date and needed to reschedule for 5Apr. Chair arrived yesterday and had poor assembly (again) so now I had to schedule for a repair visit on 26Apr to rectify this issue. I can't imagine I can recommend Ashley to my friends or family much less ever buying another piece of furniture from them! If there was an option to give a "no stars" review, I would have done so. Very sad.

Our experience was originally a strong 1 star review because of our online experience. We called today to speak with an “outsourced” employee to put things nicely and I was not happy at all with her customer service. She did not listen to a thing my fiance had to say and we would’ve had to spend the next 2-3 months calling about our couch. We decided go into the store and were greeted by Alan Richtman. He advised we could cancel our order if we found a couch and did everything he could to find one in stock that we loved. We recently purchased a couch for Ashley furniture online and had a really bad experience with the customer service online so we decided to go into the store for help. The woman on the phone didn’t listen to a thing we said a repeated herself over and over without actually listening. We met Alan Richtman who was a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to deal with. We were going to be waiting until June for our couch if it was even available and he was more than happy to help us find a different couch that we loved. We bought a mattress in a box and didn’t realize that an RV mattress is a few inches smaller than a regular sized mattress. We never took the mattress out of the box and we wanted to return it since we would not be able to use it as expected. Our sales rep and customer service were very rude and said we could not return it and now we are stuck with this mattress we really have no use for! I could understand it if we slept on it but it was rolled up in a box never opened!!! Will not be returning to that store anytime EVER!!!

He explained the different options and some bargains happening in the store. Well, he gave me his card and a print out of all the items estimated costs. I decided to return the next day after work to speak with him again. Looking around I found an idea of a set I liked. To my luck it came in the size I needed. He was so patient with family and my special needs child. We were able to get the perfect bedroom set with some extra items for the home. He was so humble, not pushy for sales, just honest, and super helpful. He made my experience at the furniture store an amazing experience. For that I write this review and recommend folks to speak to Mr. Bruce. I was able to get all furniture desired and with finance options. I couldn't ask for anything more. Amazing, great job and a big thank you to Mr. Bruce for his time, patience, help and amazing experience. 👏

Sales person was nice. I went in Dec. 7, 2021 to order a sofa bed and was told it was on back order and I would receive it Feb. 12, 2021. No updates that it would be Feb. 24, 2021. Again no updates that it has been pushed back to March 8, 2021. It seems you go into the store with your money and you’re left wondering where’s my furniture? And you have to spend your time on the phone following up. I never want to shop Ashley’s again.

Order couch in January, told us it would be ready in February. Got several confirmations this week including a call from the sales person Maxine that we would be receiving our couch today. Cleared our schedule, made plans for our old couch. Five minutes before our delivery window they said it was out of stock and wouldn’t be available till mid May. Almost 4 months from the time we ordered it. We know everything is back ordered but if they would’ve told us in the beginning that would’ve been fine. But to find out five minutes before it’s supposed to be delivered is ridiculous. We canceled our entire order. So just be weary that their delivery days are nowhere near promised even up to five minutes before it’s supposed to be there!

We came in to get a kings size bedroom set and Maxine unlike the typical sales reps who try to upsell you unnecessarily, she asked our budget and tailored the selection to our needs. We ended up choosing an extremely nice set which was a little more than our budget but she didn't stop there she worked with us to ensure we got an amazingly generous discount which still included 3 years warrant, at the end I was very please with what we got and it only coming in $98 over budget. I couldn't be more pleased with her attentiveness and service. If ever you are at the Sawgrass location be sure to ask for Maxine and thank me later.

I bought an electric recliner for my Dad who is sick. The recliner broke after 6 months. Took 7 days for repair appt, and repairman never showed. Called to complain and he showed next day. Need to order motor due to manufacturers defect. Will take 2-4 weeks and then we can make appoint. Asked if we could just replace recliner due to medical necessity, they said no. Will never purchase anything from City or Ashley in the future. Recliner is not a luxury and my mom fell trying to help my dad out of recliner. Thank you Ashley for nothing, you and City will no longer have our business as you have had for the past 20 years....

From the $179.00 delivery fee, to being told I received 30% off the price of the furniture in the store, along with delivery happening in April it was cringe worthy. After leaving and looking on line to narrow down my decision on my pick, I was surprised the online price was the same amount as the discounted price that was given in store. In the store I expressed a option of free delivery and the salesman showed me the schematics which looked very long and difficult, and how I would receive in box and have to assemble. Also when you look at the pictures of each group of furniture and the prices on back, they can be different because the design teams make changes and no one thinks to change pricing nor pictures. When I expressed that I liked the end tables and perhaps could see other options on coffee tables (not buying a set) and suggested to salesman to type in white tables on his I pad, he said he did not have that option.

Don’t do business with this company. They damaged my home on two deliveries and 6 weeks later I still don’t have the check they claimed they were sending. They scratched new floors and then scratched and banged up my wall on another delivery. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Ashley’s told them the check was mailed and would arrive in 7-14 days. That response to the BBB was a lie you can look it up yourself. Turns out now they are claiming the check was mailed on Jan 19th and I have to allow 21 days for arrival. They told the BBB the end of Dec/beginning of Jan it was already on the way, they do nothing but lie. You will never get customer service on the phone. They refuse to give out Regional manager information to allow you to escalate up because of their failures. The home damage claims email box never responds. I’ve bought a lot of furniture from this company over the years and never again after this experience and I’m giving you a fair warning. They damage your home and refuse to take ownership of it.

Worst experience ever, I'm still waiting for a replacement since last year. Customer service line takes 1+hour on hold. NO managers available ever. Parts order for the bed I wanted had to be "trimmed" because they didn't fit for the 2nd time. Totally NOT worth it. Material is very cheap and Still since July the order is not complete. I wanted to return items and they don't want them. Obviously if they trimmed the parts the bed is not new. It's refurbished and so expensive for a cheap bed. Don't buy anything from them ever! I've contacted you by phone, text, email and you just ignore correspondence. Everyone deserves to know poor quality on materials and terrible/awful customer service.

Ashley’s always has a great selection of items but as long as I’m in the South Florida area the associates at the Sawgrass location really go above and beyond. Bruce didn’t rush us, answered all of our questions, gave us fantastic recommendations when we were stumped and was so respectful and conscious of our budget. Absolutely amazing experience. This has been the worst experience ever with a furniture company! Everything started off great at the store the day we went in to purchase furniture. I even gave a great compliment to the Manager "Cleveland" about the sales person "Bruce". However, the day of delivery everything was a downfall. First off "FREE DELIVERY" with City Furniture means they leave everything outside of your house because they do not need to bring it inside. We totally understood that they would not assemble the furniture but not want to bring inside was SHOCKING TO ME. When I called customer service about this they advised that this was their guideline. Then to top it off they wouldn't even go over the order to make sure all parts were delivered. They were in a rush and didn't delivery all the parts. We immediately called Customer Service again and they were the worst. On top of NOT getting all of our furniture delivered the furniture that was delivered is scratch because of the way the packaged the items and my reclining sofa is damaged! Customer Service says they cannot do anything and that we need to submit a claim. I advised that my children did not have a bed to sleep on and now were forced to sleep on the floor due to this huge ISSUE! I have called the actual store multiple times even spoke to store manager Sharon who was NOT helpful at all. She also said everything had to be done via Customer Service. It is now a week my kids have no beds and my sofa was inspected by a technician and it could not be repaired. He also had to refer back to Customer Service. I have yet to receive a call about the missing pieces and new pieces to build my kids beds. This is UNACCEPTABLE AND DISRESPECTFUL on City Furniture and Ashleys Furniture behalf. THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL BECAUSE THEY ALREADY HAVE THEIR MONEY! THEY CARE LESS ABOUT WHAT THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE GOING THROUGH. I HAVE READ SO MANY REVIEWS OF UNHAPPY PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM. NOT SURE WHAT THEY DONT GET ABOUT I JUST WANT MY KIDS BEDS MISSING PARTS AND DAMAGED PARTS TO BE CORRECTED ASAP AND MY NEW SOFA TO WORK!! CITY FURNITURE AND ASHLEYS FURNITURE YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS THIS WAY! HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE CORRECTED ASAP!! SINCERELY, A VERY UPSET CUSTOMER!!!!

Paid extra for assembly received incorrect items I paid for

Such a disappointing experience all around. Not only did each piece come soiled, but also very horrible experience as the ottoman the store rep said "fits" the sectional did not. The store will not accept any returns (even if it is the fault of the store) and no credit. Even when I tried to come up with a solution, the rep sent me on a back and forth chase to their corporate customer service. I tried to call back the store and get the rep many times to leave messages and no call back. Such a waste of time. Then the store manager wouldn't even give a discount to buy the additional piece we needed to have the ottoman fit. And now I will have to wait again to then have it come in soiled likely like all the other parts. This takes a lot of time. This was not worth all the time for a coach I can get at Rooms to Go or other local stores. They don't care at all just to get your money. Also, I am pretty sure that each store seems to be owned separately so if you do want to buy I wouldn't at this store.

Although we didn’t buy anything, I would like to point out customer services was excellent. My daughter 3yrs old broke a glass. I was so embarrassed 😳 but the manager handled it well. They didn’t make us feel uncomfortable in any way although we were embarrassed by the fact we broke something. But they were all very nice.

Store personnel is very good, cordial, not pushy. Thanks, Kinne! Good guy, really. All the rest was a nightmare. Paid on Wednesday Dec 8, the order was confirmed for delivery on Thursday, Dec 9. Instead of delivery received a message that my sleeper is backordered until Feb 19 2022. Tried to text with customer service - bot, called the sales rep - extension not found, called customer service - 30 mins, call dropped...another 45 mins finally someone picked up. Guy was pretty nice given my reasonable anger regarding the whole situation that I poured on him. I asked for refund - customer service cannot do that, the guy told he will send an email to the store manager to immediately contact me next morning to sort out the refund issue. Today is Dec 27, still waiting for a call.... Never in my life have I received such a humiliating customer service. Good job, Ashley you went above and beyond with making your customer feeling miserable!

Fast service, price is right, friendly staff and beautiful furniture

Purchased a couch back in May and it has yet to be delivered in Dec, blaming Covid! Meanwhile I bought stuff from Ashley store in Orlando and everything was delivered on time. Every time I call this location to check they tell me you’re next on the list and give me a new date. Be careful, they trap you by delivering part of your order and you’re stuck waiting for the rest of the set. I regret stepping a foot into this store.

This is the worst store. They will never get $1 from. Me or anyone else I know. Paid cash for an order in October 2021 of almost $3000. Took 6 weeks for delivery. 1 rug was on back order till February 2022. Cancelled it. Rug cost $150. Since I paid cash, only a check from corporate had to be issued. Check came in the mail 4 days ago for $102.18. Where the hell is the other third of my money? Not to mention the poor behavior of Manager Karin Harris. She speaks to African Americans in a tone that mirror Slave Plantations. Rude, obnoxious and definitely Not customer friendly, as if she is doing me a favor. Checking up on orders? Forget that. Sébastian who got the sale, made his commission already so he doesn't care shits about when it will be delivered. I will be sharing my review on every single platform I can to share the discriminatory manner Black people are handled here.

We worked with Maxine at the Sawgrass malls location and it was a phenomenal experience. Firstly, this location offered a great selection to choose from. Secondly, the customer service was top notch. Our sales person was Maxine and she was excellent. She was patient with us, she took the time to understand what we needed and what we liked, and her input an insight really provided value to our experience and our selection choice. We definitely felt comfortable with her and she gave us 100% of her time. We were there for about 2 hours and there was no rush. She wanted to make sure we left and were happy with our purchase and we truly were! Thank you Maxine! In addition Cleveland, one of the managers, was excellent as well. Great overall experience.

Maxine gave excellent customer service!! She was attentive and knowledgeable about the products. She was also super funny which made the experience so much easier. My biggest take away is that I didn't feel pressured to buy. It felt relaxed and casual and I trusted her. I give her 10s across the board!! So if you are looking to buy furniture, you should definitely go ask for Maxine at the Sawgrass location.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOW QUALITY FURNITURE. Disappointed with the quality of the Ottoman I bought for my family room. When I tried to return it 2 days after receiving it, they sent some one and told me to wait a call... that called never happened. I called back and they said that it couldn't be return or exchanged because that is the way it is... really bad customer service. The ottoman sinks in the middle and looks so ugly. I bought it in the store and because they do not had it in stock, I picked it just looking to a picture. Of course the picture looks so good, but it is a lie. Be sure what you are getting because there is not way to return it even if is really bad made.

Delivery person cursed, “This is bullshit” when damaged bed frame was refused. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Sales rep Cathy Fox was unresponsive. Went into store to report incident. Asst Mgr Karin Herbert listened and said she would report it however did not follow up nor respond to any emails nor phone messages when asked for an update. Furniture is poorly made and delivery came in pieces on various dates. We won’t shop there again.

Bedroom set purchased. Paid in full. Still waiting for side rails of granddaughters bed. Purchased in Aug. side rails estimate Feb14th😳 Did I say paid in full. Delivered other items that can be used. Sad

THEY ARE THIEVES!!!! We purchased a couch that came in TERRIBLE condition and they sent someone to come check it out and they confirmed that it was a TERRIBLE couch!!!! They kept the $300 delivery fee because they told me they don’t refund on deliveries. I can understand if the couch was good and I just changed my mind but it was HORRIBLE!!!!!! I expect to get my money back!!!!!

Definitely Ashley Furniture and City Furniture looks nice but is a cheap furniture store. Also the Home Extended warranty is a lie, please read this and Stay away for it. Buying on this store is at your own risk. I have several incidents from the beginning of the purchase. In all cases I need to contact several times and make complaints to the representatives and contact my lawyer to see option to claim what is in the contract. Materials and Finishing are average and cheap. It's better to buy cheap furniture in Ikea for example, where materials are more durable and extended warranties are not tricky.

Extremely upset how I cannot get an answer! I’m about to cancel my order and I expect a full refund. I paid in full and for me to have to wait when I was told end of September-end of October I was going to expect my items. I’ve ordered furniture from rooms to go and I got a date of when it was going to be delivered!
