The shopping experience was great but I was told the sofa I was buying was made out of real wood. It broke just after the year warranty from Ashley expired and I discovered looking at the damage that it’s not real wood but a compressed material. I bought warranty under Guardian but it’s been a month of frustrating run around and poor service leaving me with a damaged $2400.00 item. Do not take anyone’s word and definitely do not get warranty from Guardian

Bought my furniture in 2021. I bought insurance and warranty. Well now furniture is completely falling apart, metal frame is snapped in half. Worse furniture ever for 12k!!! Sent pics, emails, etc. Everything they want. Then they send a message saying they will send a technician. Hope this technician is a welder, framer, and upholstery. Better yet, if a technician comes to my property, they will be escorted off the property, not deal8ng with corporate antics. I'm pretty sure the pic says it all. This company is 2 star furniture selling at 4 star prices and lies. Customers can't put pics on here. But the owner can. Lol. Can't wait for this to see my lawyer.

I walked into the Tallahassee store with my mom last month to shop for new living room furniture. Nellie was A salesperson on the floor that day. We are so lucky that she was ! She was helpful and not pushy. Both of my parents are older and have special needs for their furniture and I was nervous because they don’t like change . The furniture was delivered and all seemed perfect until my dad’s chair wasn’t the right size . Nellie worked her magic and she’s still helping us on the issue and it is swiftly being resolved . We'd been looking for a bedroom set that worked with our vintage beach cottage aesthetic. On a whim, we decided to stop at the Tallahassee Ashley showroom. SO GLAD WE DID! After a friendly greeting at the door by Janice Avard, we walked unbothered through the entire showroom. Halfway through, we spied a set we thought perfect for our vision, and we were stunned to see the whole set was 40% off! On our 2nd visit to the set, Janice came to answer all our questions. Less than 2 hours after deciding to stop in, we were happily scheduled for a quick delivery. Janice is a jewel, and we'll be back for that sofa we fell in love with!

I have never left a negative review for anything but I don't want anyone else to go through this experience. While the buying process at Ashley was wonderful and my saleswoman, Janice was fantastic to work with, I will never shop at Ashley again. My furniture was delivered eight days ago. The delivery team left multiple deep scratches in the drywall of my stairwell, put a hole through the drywall, scratched the wood floors on the stairs, and damaged the dresser and nightstand. I understand mistakes happen but the driver never addressed the damage with me and left without me signing anything or telling me he was done. I was told Ashley would fix the situation to my satisfaction but that is not true. Eight days later and no one has addressed the damaged furniture. I sent the quote for the wall damage and they said it's over the amount they are allowed to repair. Stay away from Ashley. Their prices are lower than other stores in town but you get what you pay for.

Found a sofa we really wanted here, but the employees made us feel as though we were intruding on their day. Lots of particle board pieces too when you look at much of their “wood” furniture. We ended up at a competitor across the state line and were treated with respect and found another sofa that works excellent for our space; their selection is overwhelmingly better than this store’s offerings. Don’t let this store be your last stop as this is an independently ran location which doesn’t participate in Ashley’s advertised sales, plus they just don’t care to earn your business.

I went to the Tallahassee Ashley home store and purchased a couch and recliner back in November 2023 about a month ago the recliner got stuck and did not want to close. after calling Ashley and waiting about two weeks a guy comes out and says that the recliner frame was bowed out to the right very weird bend, he showed me that part and I was pretty much in shock because that meant it was sold to me in bad shape to start. The part was ordered, but to have the service tech do the job was another two weeks of waiting, as I was moving from my apartment into my new house I was told my service warranty was voided because I moved my furniture from one location to another. I won't be buying from them again.

I had been looking for a sectional for my living room for months. I walked into Ashley today (3/21/24), and met Ben. Staff were very helpful, but not pushy. Vinny greeted us and asked if we were looking for anything specific and pointed us in the right direction. He checked in with us a few times and provided additional guidance on pieces that fit our needs. He didn't try to pressure us into purchases, in fact he steered us away from things that didn't meet our needs. In the end he and Clay (manager) ensured we were happy with our final purchases. Grateful for their friendly and honest approach to what can be a stressful process!

Christine Reeves is a great salesperson. She did a wonderful job helping my family pick out a beautiful living room set. We will be seeing her again.

The bed was delivered and installed by Ashley furniture. The people who assembled the bed stripped the Allen bolts and did not install the middle supports correctly. I can’t even use the bed since the supports are sagging under their own weight. Technician came out and had to order all new hardware. We were instructed that we could Lay the support where it’s supposed to go and try it that way till we can fix it. This didn’t seem like a good solution to us. It took weeks to get the bed anyway and another week and a half to get a technician out. My wife and I are having to she a room with our 20 month old who USE to sleep by herself. We have gotten text that the new hardware was shipped and then told it wasn’t. We finally asked about a return but we’re informed that even though the furniture had not been used we were unable to return it. Apparently the return policy is only good for three days. Nowhere does it state this in our paperWork that I have. I would leave a half of a star but that was not a option. While everyone has been nice, I feel like we’ve just gotten screwed. We just keep getting a call back later for more information or sorry.

Our experience here was horrible. We visited intending to buy a sleeper sofa and found a blue one at this location. The salesman who assisted us ordered the couch in the wrong color, despite my pointing out that he had done so in the ordering process. He insisted that he was correct and rushed us to the payment section. I had to ask another salesperson for help undoing the original salesman's mistake before we left the store. Ashley then botched the couch delivery 3 times - they were either incredibly late or brought a vehicle too big for delivery each time. I missed at least 10 hours of cumulative work time waiting for delivery. I contacted customer service who said I couldn't receive even a partial refund on the expensive delivery fee. They offered a gift card instead which never arrived.

I came into the store (very clean store). I was greeted by Nellie Wilkerson. I told her what I was looking for and the size of my living room. She showed me a lot of different sofas. She did not rush me she was very patient and extremely friendly. When I found the sofa I liked. she also told me the set was on special on the set and even gave me the ottoman for the online price (which was a steal and couldn’t turn down). She even helped me pick out colors that would match my rug. She went out of her way to help me furnish my apartment. Thank you Nellie for everything. We had a great experience looking at furniture with sales rep Corey! Cory was very laid back, down to earth, and not at all pushy at all. He let us look around at our pace and only came by at the end to ask if we had any questions. We had to wait a couple weeks for our furniture to get delivered from the manufacturer and Corey was keeping us in the loop the whole time. When our furniture arrived to the store, of course I had to work 3 days straight and was unable to pick it up. Corey was able to work out a Saturday morning pick up for us! He a.d another guy even helped us load the couch and table into our trailer! The reason we chose Ashley furniture is because we understand that quality matters. Not only in the furniture, but the staff as well. Thanks again Corey!

The delivery drivers blocked the road for everyone in my culdisac. Not only did they refuse to move. They laughed when it was brought to there attention to move.

This was a very nice layout, but we didn't find as many smaller couch options for our narrow room. We'd love to see more options that aren't super wide but not love seats either. Very helpful with any questions we had, though.

Excellent customer service, and the staff explained everything in detail. I went to get the $500 insurance gift card since I never used the insurance when I purchased my couches and was told it was too late. So anyone who purchases the insurance use it within the five years of your purchase, and it's only towards purchasing something else, and it's not a gift card like I was told when I purchased my couches in 2016. I was missed informed by the salespeople, and it's my fault for not keeping the paperwork. If the company had given me the $500 credit, I would have purchased something, so to me, that was bad business 😒

I will say that they really try and sell the warranty, but that's their job, but I would suggest letting customers make up their mind and not be so pushy. The quality and durability are great compared to a lot of other brands! I can typically guarantee that whatever I get from Ashley's is going to last a long time. My saleslady was AMAZING and so helpful, even despite not having a break at all that day (I got there around 5:30 and she had been there since 8 or 9).

Shopping at Ashley’s in Tallahassee was a positive experience. The sales representative that assisted me, Jessica, helped me find the furniture that I was looking for in a timely manner. I also felt that I got a very fair price on the recliner that I purchased. I also took advantage of the 12 month, 0% interest, same as cash financing plan.

The stores always have a great selection of furniture with friendly helpful employees. The furniture is dependable and lasts a lifetime. I've never been disappointment with any purchases.

Very frustrated. It is impossible to get in touch with my salesperson in the Tallahassee store. They block you talking with the person you ordered through literally. Jennie Kirk sold me a bedroom set a month ago. They delivered the bed without the rails. You would think they could just pick up the bed and deliver a new one with all of the pieces. I have tried to contact multiple times. If they block you from speaking to your salesperson, and put you on hold then never answer…. need I say more. My granddaughter is sleeping on the floor. Never again. Do your homework complaints are all over the internet.

Great didn't expect to find what I was looking for but once I did it was smoothly handled by Vincent the salesman. After reading these reviews I pray I get my furniture without damage. Stay posted.

Deliveries are extremely slow. I was supposed to get my delivery on March 30th and it is April 10th. After looking up up delivery delays for Ashley furniture, I see Reddit, Yelp, and other forums with a countless number of people all advising everyone to stay away from Ashley furniture. I wish I would’ve read that before. Apparently they are taking months. Don’t take my word for it, google it.

Bought full living room set with warranty, furniture showed up and had minor damage (small tear on back of couch , thread hanging on loveseat) I didn't complain because it was minor and not worth waiting another 3 months for replacements. But then not even a week later as I'm watching TV in the recliner the back suddenly snaps and lays completely flat. After I get up and look at the chair I unvelcrowed the back and discovered the poor craftsmanship and quality as it way made from osb and glue and not made to last. I immediately called to get them replaced but was transfered back and forth then was told they would exchange everything. Great problem solved! NOT!!!!!! . They show up 3 months later with 1 of the 3 items to be replaced then told me the other 2 items were backorder for 6 months! I refused delivery because I wanted all items exchanged at the same time so they would have equal wear. So at this point I ask for a refund and to return all merchandise but was told I couldn't return the items because it was past the time limit! Even though I called and started the process months prior and was jerked around so long it exceeded the return policy date. So I'm now stuck with broken furniture with no hope of the issue being resolved.

i wanted to refresh both my dining and living room. Ashley home store in Tallahassee had an inventory that provided many choices and stimulated ideas for room arrangements. The store was spacious and easy to navigate The interior decorator i worked with, Jan, was incredible. She listened to my vision for my rooms and then explained thoroughly how the furniture purchasing store process worked. She toured the store with me pointing out possibilities, given what I had told her about my " vision" Most importantly, within a week she provided me selections ,that told me she had really listened to me and "got it" as to what I wanted, as opposed to inserting her own vision of how she would remake my rooms. I really appreciated her for that .Jan was on point during my entire purchasing experience and when there were questions or miscommunications ,she resolved my questions within the day. I did not expect major expenditures for furniture to go so seamlessly. The quality of furniture , customer service , staff receptivity , and especially the expertise of Jan in helping me choose exactly right furniture, made refreshing those rooms an exciting and joyful experience

My experience with the Tallahassee store buying a living room set was excellent. Janice Avard helped us select our furniture and she was honest, dependable and did no “hard sell” which I hate. I will return and buy again with Janice.

I had a great experience at this location. Recently moved to the area and couldn’t bring anything with me, so needed to start fresh and came here in hopes to find that. I was lucky enough to have Kara take care of and talk with me through everything, while still having patience with my pickiness and indecisiveness. It made the shopping process I honestly wasn’t looking forward to be so much more carefree with Kara’s personality. The best furniture stores in town. They have a huge selection and the staff is willing to take the time to explain things and not hustle you. Huuuge showroom decorated by each room of the house themes with nice stuff on display. Highly recommended

My wife and I ordered all new furniture from Ashley back in May of 2022, some of our furniture arrived on June 22 of 2022, but had few issues that needed to be fixed that took about another month or two to fix and repair. But I been waiting on a drawer slide for my night stand for over four months now and still getting the run around from customer service and mangers, all they will say it's on order or I've sent a request up the chain. I've asked for the corporate number and the Presidents and CEO number but funny no one I've spoken to even knows those numbers! You can't even talk to the store about anything because the phone ring in a call center that is not doing the job well at all. I have text from them that contradict what the re t says. DO T UY FROM ASHELY STORE! THE CUSTOMER SERVI E SU KS!

I needed a mattress urgently to host my father overnight not long after a family loss. I went to several stores asking for help. The staff at Ashley on Capital Circle - especially Lauren Braswell - were kind but also immediately went to work to help solve my need. They were able to offer me more than one solution. I left with a good quality mattress in my price range which they even loaded into my car. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Lauren!!
