I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture that I feel compelled to share. When my couch was delivered in May, the delivery employees damaged my property, breaking a wall glass mirror. Despite my immediate report of the incident, Ashley Furniture has refused to assist with the matter. After a frustrating two-month wait, I received a letter in July—not even a phone call—informing me that they would not cover the damage. They dismissed the issue as a "word vs word" situation, completely ignoring the evidence I provided. The damage to my property, which I had moved into just a week before, is valued at over $2,000. Ashley Furniture's poor customer service policies and blatant lack of responsibility and accountability have left me deeply dissatisfied. I will not be purchasing from them ever again and will not recommend them to anyone I know. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Ashley Furniture at all costs.

Save yourself a headache and DO NOT shop here! Read bad reviews 1st before purchasing here. Have no issue with the sales associates. They were very nice and helpful, but you will NOT get your delivery when promised! My son bought a sectional from them, and they told him it will be here on the 6/6. Never arrived, then told him 6/8, then told him 6/20. My son already got rid of his furniture. Luckily for him there were still memorial day sales going on. So he went to American Signature instead and got his furniture on 6/13. Then he called Ashley's to cancel his order. They refuse to refund his money! He had to call back 10 business days later to get the money he was suppose to be refunded. And up til now he still hasn't been refunded his money. Not sure what's up with Ashley furniture, but corporate needs to seriously look at this location and fire who ever their delivery partners are. Even when my son called to complain about his late delivery they were still being stingy about the deliver fee, and they only offered to waive the fee after he called back to cancel. I've heard and read so many painful stories about their customers just trying to receive the order they paid for, then delaying the refund when your customers cancel because you can't deliver?! This is just terrible business etiquette. Will be reporting this location to BBB.

Don’t ever buy at Ashley furniture especially Dale Mabry in Tampa. Broken dresser delivered and distorted sectional and their policies say two technicians have to come in to deem it broken before replacing it. Both techs came and could not fix the issues. At this point, have had many conversations with a guy name Roe who currently is not working there anymore then transferred to Karen the store manager who is the rudest person I’ve ever dealt. She was zero help and dismissive saying I have to continue to wait for warranty dept to contact me about broken dresser. I asked her to try and escalate my issues and she continued to recite policies and procedures versus trying to help me. She refused to provide me with the Regional Manager contact number who apparently works beside her and refused to even provide me her name. Transparency does not exist at this Tampa Ashley store. Do better.
We may have had a bad luck with the sales rep. Prices there was much higher than anywhere else

What a terrible exeprience. Order sectional sofa on 5/22, and they said it would be delievered 6/6. Even got a text on 6/3 to confirm that my sectional would be delievered 6/6. Therefore, I took time off of work to make sure I would be home, and got rid of my old couches the day before. Waited all damn day, not a call, text, email, nothing! So finally around 5pm I called customer services to see when they will be delivering my sectional. To my surprise they reschedule my delivery to 6/8 on a Saturday. Told them I'm a human being and have plans 6/8, and will not be home most of the day. Customer services said to call the store directly to see what my options are. Called the store, the store said actually we don't have part your sectional yet, and the earilest it will arrive at the warehouse is 6/17. Which will also need to go through inspection, so earliest delivery date is now 6/20! 2 weeks from the orginal delivery date! I already got rid of my old couches and I have guest coming over this weekend. I would of canceled the damn order if I waited around again all day Saturday and it wasn't deliever. Its like why lie and say that it will be delivered on 6/8 when you don't even have part of the sectional? Also why am I paying $200 for delivery, for something that couldn't even be delievered when promised? Luckily the nice lady on the phone was able to reduce the delivery fee down to $99, however in my humble opinion that delivery fee should of been completely waived considering Ashely did not uphold their part of the bargain? And now I don't have anywhere to sit for 2 weeks. I don't care what they promise you. Do NOT get rid of your old couches until the new one arrives. More than likely your delivery date will get moved becasuse they over order and under deliver. I will be shopping for couches this weekend, and if I find something I fall in love with I'm calling Ashley to cancel my order.

The product was delivered yesterday 4/10/24 and it turned out that the spring box is too tall for the actual bedframe. We went back to the store today first thing in the morning to discuss the issue and ask for help. 1. Customer Service at your store was terrible, no one seemed to care about our issue. Even though we tried to escalate the problem, the only answer we received was "Sorry, nothing we can do about it" 2. Poor Policies: we are not asking for a refund, we were only asking for a solution and the answer we received is "you have to buy another one" 3.The sales person never showed us the box spring or even allowed us to choose one. We trusted what she provided. We trusted your company and your product to be high quality for what we paid. It is very sad and dissapointing to receive no support from your product or store.

After receiving our furniture, we noticed that they sent us an obvious used floor model coach and movers and tech they sent out 3 weeks later agreed. I informed them of this the day of delivery and they said they would make it right. Almost a month now and they won’t replace it or even talk to us. I’m in process of filing a law suit against Ashley , the store manager, and salesman because they think they can’t give us a dirty user coach when I paid for new one. I accepted at time of delivery with their word they would handle it. This is our new home and family and they have tainted our start with screwing us with this fraud. Please do not buy anything from them. They are scammers and liars and will get you too. See you in court.

Beware, they have updated their terms and conditions to include no returns, no 3 days anymore!! I paid $1,200 for a chair that was too big. I called 3 corporate stores and they said they wouldn’t even let me replace it with another item! The sales person had me zoom through T+C’s on a call, so I assumed they had the same 3 day policy as a year ago. The management and Ashley Corporate did NOTHING for me! They sent me an email basically saying “Thanks for understanding were not going to do anything”. It is really sad that Ashley corporate doesn’t care if the piece is right for your home, they won’t even allow a switch of equal or lesser value. We work so hard for our money to spend it there and then they care nothing for their customers. Go somewhere that has a return policy and cares about the customer’s sentiment upon delivery of a major purchase!!!!

Buyer Beware! We could not decide between two living room sets. We were lead to believe that we could "check out" the furniture in our home and potentially exchange it for the other within 72 hours of delivery. In fact the 72 hour period ONLY covers replacing damaged furniture. The policy on paper is No returns or exchanges for any reason. Had we known our decision was final, we would have kept the delivery people longer but they appeared anxious to move on to the next delivery and we thought we had time. Our advice: Shop elsewhere. But if you shop at Ashley's be weary of slick salesmen and impatient delivery men.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE quality and even worse customer service. Bed broke within a year. Bought an extended warranty which they tell me they no longer use so it’s out of their hands. I call Ashley furniture customer service and they don’t understand anything you are saying because they barely speak English. They have a random persons address on my account and I keep telling them that’s not my address and they say they can’t help me since I can’t verify the address. What a joke of a company. I’ve bought over $10k worth of stuff here and none of it is lasting. Better off going to Rooms to go and actually getting quality furniture.

Ordered a couch over a month ago, was told it’s in stock. Date was rescheduled 2 times. Finally, a month later it arrived but with only 2/3 pieces of the couch. So now I have half a couch and no answers. Have been on phone calls for 2 days now and no one can help me. They’re planning on delivering the other piece within the next week since their deliveries are booked but I don’t understand how I’m not prioritized since it’s not my fault the couch is missing a piece. For almost $3,000, it’s ridiculous how I have to deal with this. Update: they have to come back a 3rd time because they forgot the couch pillows.

She got her manager to answer questions about the warranty because I had an issue with GBS, their old warranty company and now they use REGUARD for the warranty which owns Ashley. This means no issues with franchise versus corporate. According to the manager. They also provided me 5% off for military.

I was in a bind and needed a recliner quickly and with certain specifications. I called and spoke to Sebastian at the store on N. Dale Mabry. He, over the phone, helped me find a recliner that fit my needs. He even called back later to confirm that the electric controls would work for me. It was delivered in 3 days. The delivery team set it up and took away the trash. All in all a very good experience and I would recommend Ashley Furniture.

Absolutely the worst experience. I called and purchased a sofa for $1800 and the salesman Kirk stated that there is a fee for set up and delivery or drop off fee. Being that the store is only 2 miles from my home I said you’re only 2 miles from me so I can have my son pick it up. Two days later Ashley called and stated it was ready for pick up in BRANDON, which is 25 miles and 45-55 mins from my home. Kirk the salesman failed to mention this when he was selling. I called the store to explain the situation and the failure of Kirk to inform me the pick up would be in a different location. Kirk was unavailable as he was off so I spoke with another salesman and the office manager to which neither was any help at all. I requested to pay for the $40 delivery over the phone or for them to send a link as they did for the couch and they stated they could not do that. They said I would need to come into the store to pay for the delivery. Being that I am a 100% disabled veteran, driving to the store to pay $40 for a mistake that Kirk the salesman made in not advising where the pick up would be, shouldn’t be a solution. As a result I cancelled the entire order and will take my business elsewhere because they obviously care ZERO about the customer. I would advise everyone to take your business to another much more helpful and caring furniture supplier.

If you hate yourself and want to waste days of your life trying to get your furniture repaired because it breaks repeatedly then you should buy from this store. It’s a joke that even with the furniture protection they insist on giving you the runaround. I spent 4 months trying to resolve the issues with the garbage furniture I brought from them. As of today, I’m still fighting to have my money returned even after I hand delivered their garbage furniture to their warehouse! At this rate I’d rather have a colonoscopy without sedation while simultaneously having a root canal because at least I’d have something show for my pain and suffering afterwards. This store is a complete joke. Each time I returned their calls they would place me on hold each time for at least 50 minutes as they have no clue what they are doing. The most recent time I called (today), they placed me on hold for 40 minutes then picked up to immediately place me on hold for 10 minutes only to tell me that they couldn’t refund my money and there is no manager or supervisor working until Tuesday that can assist. I have no idea how they are able to operate like this and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Only positive thing I can say is Michelle at their warehouse is incredible and the store even hung up on her twice!

My sales man Mr. Ewane was very professional and helped me to get delivery the following day. The delivery men were very professional and careful to get everything in my home without any issues. The sales experience was good. It was complicated and took sometime, but the staff were helpful and professional. The post sales experience is a nightmare. it is full of automated responses and dead ends when you have an issue. The furniture did not come with all the parts and delivery team could fully assemble. They departed with the expectation the missing parts would be delivered later in the day. After several calls of which customer care was unable to help (offshore call center) nor the local store was willing to provide help we were able to reach the warehouse. This is not an easy process to get help. They dropped off some of the missing pieces after 9:00 PM. We were able to assemble by going to hardware store to get missing hardware. Even after that there were other pieces we had to request to be shipped. The people delivering the service were pleasant, but the processes and procedures are a nightmare. No contacts that can provide a clear path to resolution. The employees are accustomed to redirecting the customers needing help and the organization lacks customer support mindset post sale.
Paid $130 fabric protection insurance because I have cats and when something happened, see pics , they said it was due to wear and tear and not my cat. The service agent in the phone even admitted that she could see it but said her company policy states that if there is normal wear and tear they won’t pay for it. 0/5. As you can see below they sent a response but never followed up. Issue was never resolved.

Bought an adjustable bed from Ashley's and John Santiago was our salesperson. He was all smiles and helpful before the sale. After the sale he would not answer my calls. Sold us a bed without the remote. Ashley's delivered the bed without the remote. Tried calling him directly refused to answer my phone call. I was not mad. I just wanted to know where the remote was. The bed was inoperable without the remote. Tried calling Ashley's I could not get through stayed on hold for 45 minutes. I had to end up going to the store and confronting John and he admitted to ignoring my calls. He is a coward and PO$. I had to deal with a manager whose name was Samantha. She was helpful and solving the problem. I would. not buy anything from Ashley's ever again. I would not deal with John Santiago as your salesperson. Bad customer service. Bought a piece of furniture and paid for delivery, being told that the delivery fee would be refunded if I were to pick it up myself. Ended up picking it up, but no refund was issued. Called corporate office, they told me to call the local store. A rep from the store was condescending, told me there was the process to this, her tone of voice implying blame on me for not following some process of requesting the refund (initially never told of any process, only that the refund would show up on my credit card statement). I ordered a sectional that they claimed was “in stock” yet the delivery kept getting pushed off due to back order of pieces! Absolutely the most incompetent Customer service that just gives you the classic answer that written on the screen of “oh I’m so sorry”. Absolute trash

Zack manager does not provide ethical client service, I spoke to Alicia on behalf of Zack who was at lunch for a whole day. I could not get him to come to the phone or call me back. I have a broken ankle and could not visit the store. Had an issue with an exchange of my table. If you buy from Ashley know damaged items you will go through hell. They have awful policies and try at all cost not to take responsibility. Check your items video tape delivery etc ensure you document all because regretfully here it is required. Service is awful selling is grreat!!ashley has a horrible exchange and return process, for their manufacture defects and own errors. save your self the Hassel shop at a place where you are valued as a customer

We recently purchased a sofa at this location and I can honestly say I was very impressed with not only the quality of our sofa but the service that we received. We worked with Rita and she was absolutely fantastic! She assisted us with measurements, provided insight on whether this would be a good fit for our living room, provided various options/recommendations based on what we wete looking for, assisted us with financing, delivery changes etc. She was very attentive for every stage of this purchase. Super impressed with her knowledge and professionalism.

I purchased wall art that was apparently damaged that I feel the store was totally aware of. The salesman bagged it and when I got home the art was falling a part!!!! I turned around immediately and they refused to take it back when they knew it was damaged and sold it despite that!!! No integrity. Pure deception!!!!

Tampa -Ashley Furniture on Dale Mabry #tampaashleyfurniture #ashleyfurniture I ordered a sofa set and asked specifically to ensure it was available for delivery on a date promised. Their computer system showed it was available and I completed the order. FYI delivery fee is $200 The very next day there warehouse called me and said half the items were not available and they like to bring half the items to my house and the other half another day. I felt this was wrong and not promised ad agreed. What a mix up and lack of planning on their end. Absolutely no mention of waiving the delivery fee and their confusion became my problem. I cancelled my order and the Manager Karen really wasn’t helpful at fixing anything at all. I won’t be going back there at all!
The only negative thing regarding my most recent furniture delivery is that I was not told by the salesperson that the file cabinet would not be assembled. I was surprised when it was delivered in a box. Now I have to find someone to assemble it.

HORRIBLE experience as they tried to take back an offer they’d given me. One kind person (if I remember correctly, her name was Lola) came through and did the best she could to help rectify things. A few days ago I went to a location in Tampa. Sulaf was our salesperson. She’s kind, patient, and super helpful. Now, I have a different picture and perspective of Ashley’s furniture thanks to her. And, a beautiful living room set. PS I was pleasantly surprised when delivery was scheduled swiftly. Hasn’t come yet. No news from me here will be good news. I’ll only come back if it’s an absolutely awful process.
My fiancé and I just purchased a couch from Ashley. We had a great experience visiting the store. Matt helped to show us all of the options that fit our needs and made the process super easy and enjoyable. We absolutely love the couch we ended up with!! Recently visited the Ashley's furniture in Tampa and was greeted by a very tall gentleman named Kendall. He came off very welcoming and inviting, knowledgeable about different aspects of the products and made my wife and I feel very comfortable in the store. We didn't leave this time with anything but we will definitely be back as we have recently expanded our family and are looking to upgrade our current livingroom and bedroom.

Beware.. so walking in with every expectation to pay thousands of dollars for some quality furniture. I left after 3 hours of dealing with incompetent sales people who insisted to tell me that the beds were designed for astronauts, and other brain breakers. Then they tried to sell me items that were free on the manufacturer sites. Just overall a bad experience. My advice, go look and feel in store, avoid the salesperson then order online.

I just recently moved to Tampa and needed some new furniture since I left all of my old stuff across the country. When I arrived at Ashley furniture I was immediately greeted by a very polite employee, I believe his name was Kendall. I explained to him exactly what I was looking for and he brought me around the store showing me all of the options that met my needs. They had a large selection and he definitely made my shopping experience much easier! Hopefully I will not need to buy another couch for a while, but if I do I will definitely be returning to Ashley furniture and asking for the same guys help.

Kendall was incredibly patient and informative and gave us some new ideas to consider for our new investment. It's a big store to explore, but the entire place was kept very clean and tidy.

Ashley Furniture is the worse furniture store to shop at. They don’t even deserve a one star, but I had to bc I would not be able to post. I purchased a small table a couple of weeks ago and it was going to be delivered on Jan. 7th. Well, while I was there paying for the table I saw a coat rack that I wanted to buy . The salesman tells me it is not an Ashley item that it is a third party piece and It would be delivered in pieces and we would have to put it together. He then tells us it is marked with the letter Z which means the coat rack was a carry out already put together. It would not fit in our vehicle so we left. We just went back on Thursday, Dec. 29th to see if the coat rack is still there and it is. I tell the salesman I want to buy it but I have to get someone who has a vehicle that it would fit in. He tells us we can take it from the store bc it’s a Z marked and that means it’s a carry out item just like the first salesman told us. We were able to have someone meet us at Ashley on Friday, Dec. 30th to pay for the coat rack and carry it out to the vehicle. When we get there we are told by the training manager that it is an Ashley item and that they would deliver it in pieces and we would have to put it together. I repeat what the two salesmen told us and he tells us that the salesmen that they trained were not trained properly. They gave us the wrong information. Then he proceeds to call the person in charge of visuals what ever that means and she repeats the same thing that the manager in training just told us. Then they tell us they can deliver the same coat rack in pieces and bring it to them and they would put it together for us. Not one of them made any sense. Well, after an afternoon of wasted time I cancelled the delivery of our table and will never do business with this furniture store. They don’t know what they are doing over there!!!!!!!!!!
Do not buy from Ashley furniture. I still have not received my desk I purchased in June and keep getting voicemail not expectation on why it’s still on back order while if I go online to purchase the same desk I can get it in 3 days. For my other desk I purchase the top surface of the desk already has chips all over it took a month for their so call protection division to get my information in the system and then another two weeks for them to tell us next steps. After that they are saying the issue is denial as this is routine maintenance and not truly damage. I don’t consider a desk I purchase over $400 to start chipping after three months. I also purchase 5 year protection plan so what the heck is that good for if you can’t fix something that shouldn’t happen that quickly. I am disgusted by Ashley furniture and how they are handling all of this. All I know if I don’t get my desk next week which would be 6 months since I purchase it, I will never shop or recommend anyone to go to them again.

I moved for another address and I needed to call for several phone numbers to change my address on the sistem and then when I thought they changed it they send the tec on my old address and the tec was extremely a assho@$& and not professional. I was waiting for the tec visit for almost two months and he just cancel the schedule to make the another one but he just let me talking by myself on the phone… I will never recommend this filth for anyone

Avoid purchasing from Ashley! It's been a challenge getting the furniture delivered. After two scheduled attempts and no calls, no shows, they scheduled their own private driver to deliver the item. I was required to pay cash to the delivery person on a free delivery purchase. Now it's been a nightmare trying to get that reimbursed from the store as promised. It's been a major waste of time since the purchase . The table that was to be delivered after the sofa has been pushed back to 2023, they stated that this usually happens when an item has been discontinued. Although they never informed me of that.
Horrible customer service experience! I cancelled an order on Nov 6 & they still haven’t given me my money back. On top of that they don’t call back when they say they will! I spoke with the sales manager Micheal & the business office manager whose name I don’t know how to spell several times. They say they see I am owed money & say will call back & they never do!! I would never buy from them again!! Update 12/20 - STiLL trying to get my check. To the response I received from Ashley on my review - No this is not resolved at all!! On top of never being communicated with by Ashley - NEVER getting a call back when they say they will, I spoke to the Customer Service Manager just now. She actually was rude & hung up on me!! Asked her to email a copy of what was sent to corporate for me to get my money back & she acted like I was an inconvenience to her!! LOUSY store!! LOUSY customer service.

Absolutely terrible. Bought over $7000 in furniture and most of it came in ok... The bed however was damaged so they took the whole bed frame back but left the rest of the furniture they rescheduled the deliver of the bed frame for 2 weeks later.. not priority like it should have been and then 2 weeks later, on delivery day, they deliver it to the wrong house and everyone is just saying uhhh.... what happened... Turns out it was delivered to somewhere but just not here. Please do not shop here... you will be severely disappointed in their service, delivery and overall experience. You would figure after spending so much money they would check their orders a bit better but I have yet to see any quality... Quick edit... I just got off the phone with delivery..... there are 8 photos showing it installed in someone's home who just got a 4000 dollar bed... for free... He was a friendly face when my boyfriend and I walked in, directed us in the right direction for what we were looking for and answered all of our questions. He felt more like a friend than salesman! Gave us space when needed and wasn't overbearing. Ya'll need to give that man a raise!!
I had a wonderful experience with the staff here at Ashley Furniture. Rachel and the manager were wonderful at assisting me with my purchase. They were patient, professional and informative about there deals and offers. Rachel stayed in touch throughout my month or so of searching for the right piece I was looking for. If Dylan comes up to you please stay away and ask for another associate. He was extremely disrespectful to us. We asked for a discount and I understand he couldn’t do it but the way he spoke to my wife was ridiculous. My wife and then came to the Clearwater location and bought the same exact thing and the associate here was way more helpful and helped us with the sale. I work in the health care retail industry and I cannot believe how the service was provided to us. Extremely disappointing service from Dylan. Was really rude. My money goes to Ashley furniture but just not the sale to that rude individual.

My wife and I bought two different counter stools so we could take them home to compare and decide which one we liked better before buying several. Since the items had to be shipped to our house, and assembled, I specifically asked the sales agent to confirm that if I assemble them they can be returned, he said yes, within 72 hours after receipt. I asked since they are assembled and I don't want to have to disassemble them to ship back, can i return to the store. He said 100% yes, in front of my wife. When I returned both of them to the store for poor quality the day after delivery, the manager advised I couldn't return them to the store. They said I have to take them home and schedule a pick up. They literally WOULD NOT accept a return at the store even though i carried both items into the store. The agent who sold them to me was standing right there and he lied about this claim. The manager didn't care at all. Sorry store policy. Their sales agents will say anything to get you to buy and do nothing to help you after. If its policy, the staff shouldn't lie. If the staff does lie, the manager should step up to rectify their mistake. Unprincipled.

If you move anywhere, your mattress warranty will be voided (Ashelys brand mattress, unsure about other brands but double check with your sales associate as we were not aware). We bought an Ashleys mattress about 3 years and it is already falling apart. Horrible quality. Not to mention someone made a fraudulent purchase under my account and we went into to store to have it “resolved” but nothing got done, it is still under my name and information. FYI The worst warranty program.
Purchased a couch for $2500, after 2 months noticed that the material started to change texture. I put a claim never heard back, went to store and the manager told me to buy a fabric shaver...like I want to shave my new couch that no one sits on but maybe once a week. The return policy is terrible, worst purchase ever made.

JUST DON’T DO IT. Sadly we had a nightmare of an experience at this location. Went in and picked out a couch. The sales associate placed an order for the wrong product. When they attempted to deliver the piece, my husband noticed it was incorrect. We tried to call the store 10 times to rectify the issue but the phones were busy or we were hung up on. We tried to work it out with corporate customer service but there was nothing they could do for 72 hours. We had to finally go into the store and have been here for an hour…after thinking we had finally made some headway, the same issue happened AGAIN when we were checking out (the wrong product was selected) after we were told the piece we wanted was in stock and could be delivered tomorrow. I would highly recommend purchasing elsewhere. It was not worth the hassle and stress and the sass from the staff was MIND-BLOWING. Zero accountability. Not apologetic whatsoever. Staff continued to interject and sass my husband and I…but they fell all over themselves to help the girl paying cash.
Quick, attentive sales service but I was told one delivery date and the delivery driver showed up a day early!! Now who knows when it will be rescheduled.
Our experience did not start off welll as the first sales associate wasn't helpful. Thanks to Brett the second sales associate who was very accommodating and answered all of our questions and concerns, we walked away with the dining set we intended to purchase, and in addition, purchased a TV stand as well. The delivery fee was affordable and the delivery schedule was on point!

Furnishing a condo is stressful, but MJ helped us through the entire process. He had a great attitude and was very patient with us to make sure we had what we needed. Editing to add: The couch was damaged, but Ashley has done everything to help make it right even though it did take some time to arrange the details. Jamiya helped get this handled and get the older couch replaced. Lastly, It took quite some time to get corrected. I love Ashley and their furniture, but the outsourced customer service can be a challenge at times. Today, the delivery guys, David and Rashaun saved us! They not only worked INCREDIBLY hard and communicated as a moving team, but they had a great attitude through it all! Thank you, gentleman! You guys helped us more than you will ever know and you deserve a raise!

Sales staff and in-store experience was five stars. The quality of the furniture received and the runaround we got trying to get broken furniture replaced/repaired was an ABSOLUTE nightmare. In the end we're calling it a loss, because playing the "call this number" game in an endless loop is exhausting. Lesson learned, buy your furniture elsewhere.
I purchased a LR set on 9/11/2022 was delivered on 9/18/2022. Refused chair: tacks coming out in back, bent and on bottom fabric sliced, pictures sent, refused to take with them with them as I was told to refuse by salesperson yup already frustrated!! Lamps were chipped and part of shade broken. Delivery people refused to take it saying replacement would come on 9/21/2022 along with end tables back ordered. Nope nope nope end tables delivered finally on 9/25/2022! Chair was replaced finally on 10/10/2022 Sofa was scheduled for “technician” as I didn’t notice the damage until after 3 days (under construction so everything covered) waited 2+weeks for appointment and finally scheduled on 10/11/2022 had to take another day off. Learned on 10/10/2022 that technician appointment had been cancelled. We are now into the 4th week since purchase and nothing is correct. End tables arrived with dings and dent around circle of table and without balance screws on all tables. We are now talking 18 Hours in the phone between on hold, dropped called or hang ups when transferring etc whatever their excuse us. Who’s paying for all lost wages? Poor quality furniture and I paid cash. Worst customer service ever received and can never get in touch with the store directly. I’ve reached my limit no more patience. I would NEVER recommend this furniture to any one. Quality and comfort after a day or two is horrible. Sink down into the cushion and the separate (I weigh 110lbs). I’m so discussed I fing know what to do I get lied to every time I connect with a representative. I did finally get in touch with the actual store who told me my replacement / whatever paperwork had been sitting in a bin on the counter for 3 weeks with no one touching it. Appt. 10/06/2022. Perplexed as large company and great reputation gets away with this nonsense. Still no answers. DO NOT BUY ASHLEY FURNiTURE ever you will regret it.
Kendall was extremely communicative and took the time to give me a breakdown of every couch I was looking for with tips on materials for dogs since he has some of his own. Super transparent and took the time to explain everything with no pressure. I would absolutely be back again
My visit at this store was great, specially from Ms. Jamiya Taylor who is the customer service manager this young lady was fantastic, courteous, respectful and attentive in other words awesome!!!. Ms. Taylor help with with an issue that I had for more than a month with replacing a dining room set under the extended warranty. Not she took care of my needs she went above and beyond to solve the situation that another store (Brandon store) was not able to do and honestly their customer service was terrible specially from an employee by the name of Jessica her attitude was left me very disappointed to the point that will not reccomend that store to any one of my friends or family members looking to purchase furniture. I rather travel the extra 20 minutes and do my business at the Dale Mabry Ave store!!! . Also the sale person who assisted me with my purchase was Mr.West Howard who provided me excellent customer service he was a really and respectful young man and I appreciate his attention to my needs and I was never under pressure by him he was fantastic these are kind of employees you need to provide excellent customer service I'm extremely satisfied with their service... DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE!!!!! The salespeople are horrible. Ordered the wrong part of the couch. Tried to do a claim and no one will pick up the phone. If they did it wasn’t the store answering and they hung up after being on hold 20+ min. Now we have the wrong couch piece just sitting in our living room 3 days later and no response. Everything was good until they got your money. The metal of my bed frame was bent and cracked and and my bed foundation wasn’t delivered. The salesman Wesley has started to ignore my messages once I told him about the problems, before when he wanted to make the sale, he always answered back within a few minutes. And the customer service number said they would get back to me about my cracked bed frame with in 48 hours but it’s been about five business days and nothing. I called back and they said to give them another 48 hours.

I made the mistake of ordering some furniture from here, and some from Room's To Go Across the street. Should have gotten everything from RTG. Every single item I bought from Ashley's broke in less than a year, and they refuse to repair anything. I'm out thousands with broken furniture, and they will not honor their warranties. They continue to cancel the technician appointments, and otherwise do absolutely nothing to help. Stay away, the furniture may look nice but it is all poor quality and their service department is non-existant at best.

Haven’t been refunded for an order we cancelled a year ago. They’ve made us go through so many twists and turns been in and out of customer service area and on the phone. It’s doubtful I’ll get furniture from them in the future.
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE from ANY Ashley store or online. And most certainly DO NOT purchase their "extended warranty". I have had a sofa sectional for a little over a year. Barely used, no kids or pets. I just noticed the other day that the seams on 2 of the cushions are coming apart. I call the "warranty" I purchased and they denied my claim because it is a manufacturing defect so I call Ashley's customer service and explain the issue to them and their response was that they could not do anything for me and that if it was an issue I can purchase a replacement part. The individual I spoke with had no idea what Ashley's manufacturing warranty covered, what the extended warranty covered or even the name of the extended warranty company. Lost a customer for life and I will make sure I do not recommend anyone here. I purchased a dining table from Rooms to go around the same time, saw some flaws on the table and they sent a technician to correct them right away. I didn't purchase a protection plan from them.
I just missed the Ashley tech by a few seconds due to dropping my daughter off to school. The tech was however, kind enough to wait but due to traffic I could not make it home in time. I went ahead and called customer service to reschedule and I spoke to Cathy. She rescheduled my appointment but also reached out to the department that manages the technician and in a matter of minutes the technician agreed to come back. Great customer service!!! Thank you Cathy!
Sales rep was very helpful at the store but the customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with as a consumer! The color of the furniture was wrong so we were told they would come back to get the furniture in a week to start the return. It has since been almost a month since we purchased the furniture and no money was returned yet the furniture was picked up. My husband spent 45 min on the phone for them to give them the run around. He asked the lady, after a month run around why would we want to re order from you guys and she flat out told him we don’t care if you shop with us. Those were her words!!!!! If you are in customer you should definitely know how to deal with and have compassion for a customer your business is screwing around. We will absolutely never shop with Ashley Furniture again!!!
I had to write 2 separate reviews! I gave 1 star in the first due to several bad experiences I had and a very rude customer service manager, and how they messed up my account more than once. But I’m giving a 5 start in this review to the sales Manager Oliver! He saved the day! He acknowledge what was done in my account was wrong, and was very friendly and approachable. He acknowledged I had a right to be upset and they needed to remove the charges I didn’t authorized. I was livid, but he put me at ease right away! I was not going to buy one more piece from Ashley, after all the bad experiences I had, not even a pen! but he took the time to show me around, even though his job was no longer doing sales. He spent a lot of time with me. And gave me a gift card to make up for the bad experience. I ended up spending $4,000 at the store that day after I felt I was done with them. All thanks to Oliver who saved the day!! Oliver earned my trust and business. Great sales manager!!
Last delivery was not professional. They did not wait for me to view the merchandize or answer any of my questions. Left in less than a minute did not even ask me to sign stating I received the merchandize in good standards. I wish to speak to someone in charge.

Terrible delivery service. They come in rented truck. Don’t speak English. Couldn’t understand how to get in neighborhood. I had to drive to them to explain simple instructions which gate to use for trucks. They are supposed to bring furniture into house/room (no assembly). But because cushions fell down making plastic wrapped couch look wider then it is, refused to bring in door. Left in garage, took pictures, and walked away not turning around as we tried to ask questions. I thought/hoped they were going to get utility knife to cut plastic, move cushions to side, and bring in. But no, they jumped in truck and left. Wife and I got couch in easily without their help, but wow. Nice (being sarcastic) delivery service Ashley.

My experience shopping at this Ashley furniture store was wonderful! I knew exactly the type of couch I wanted and had a strict budget since I recently graduated. When I walked in the best worker, Gary, came to help me out. He immediately asked me my style, what I was looking for, and my budget. He was so considerate and never tried to push me towards a sale or push me over my budget. He showed me all of my options and took so much time to explain to me the sectional layouts, return policies, and delivery information. He found me a beautiful couch that was exactly what I was looking for, in my price range, and delivered in only 10 days!! All other stores and online shops had huge back orders for months, but not Ashley. Thank you Gary for being the bomb!
Very bad customer service! Reps standing around, unengaged with customers. No greeting! Unfriendly! Everyone just standing around with their hands in their pockets. Don't waste your time. There are plenty of other stores in the area who would love your business and provide exceptional customer service. In addition, not a very good inventory of furniture. I'll take my business elsewhere.
This store has nice furniture and nice staff. Our sales rep Dio was very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Unfortunately everything after that was pretty disappointing. I just moved here so I had no where to sleep and she knew how important it was we have something quick. That was the point of what we picked. The delivery date she promised was wrong and since two separate orders were created for my bed and mattress they did not arrive together. In fact a week apart and a week after delivery, so almost 2 weeks for everything. None of these issues would have bothered me if she communicated that she put the wrong address in. The store and the warehouse are two SEPERATE divisions and apparently don't communicate. The delivery side is not friendly. You deal with automated messages and the people who deliver your furniture have no regard for your house or even the furniture you just spend hundreds of dollars on. They can't or refuse to speak to you. Dio in the end should have reached back out to us and stated what the issue was and corrected it but instead everyone acted like they didn't know what was going on. until the warehouse couldn't find our house because they had wrong address. On top of that my bed is not put together correctly and I have to schedule a separate appointment a month from now to fix something that should have been corrected on the spot and even the second time when I pointed it out. This is not to bash anyone but to be cautious. In the end I do like my bed but if my bed does not get fixed I will update post. UPDATE: when delivering my mattress, a worker kicked my bed to secure where it was loose. It worked although maybe suggest another method. Ashley should really working on communication to the distribution side of the house.
My furniture came with some noticeable defects. Customer care is difficult to resolve issues. I also was promised a promotional gift card that was never received. The local representatives are rude and hung up on me several times when they realized it wasn't a new sale to make. Very disappointed with my first purchase here.
They sell non-existent furniture and make false promise that furniture will be delivered within 2 months....purchased a dining room 6 months ago and been getting the dining room in parts instead of as a whole. Such a waste of time having to chase them down to do their job.
Sweet customer service representatives but I’ve never had such a frustrating shipping experience. My delivery is scheduled for 6/16 but I just received a text message saying my delivery is delayed a month longer and was given 0 explanation. I will be away on vacation on the new expected delivery date so my order is essentially useless to me now. Frustrated and wish I ordered my couch elsewhere. Won’t be shopping at Ashley again.
Very rude and unrofessional. I spent thousands of dollars for furniture here. I was told that the furniture would be brought into my house. This is very important, as I live by myself. At the delivery they told me they would only leave it in the garage or infront of my house. Otherwise they wanted me to pay additionally over 600$. Also they forgot to send my box spring which resulted in a delay of a week, where I had to sleep another week on the floor. I will not be ordering anymore furniture with them. I would have gotten more furniture as I have to furnish an entire house.

I had the worst experience at this Ashley home-store. I was looking for a entertainment center and Wes assisted with the purchase. We were told that 2 of the four pieces were direct shipt and the other 2 would be delivered by the store themselves. I paid for premium delivery to have them build the item. The associate mentioned when the items arrive Ashley will build it. When they came to deliver the 2 pieces of the 4 piece entertainment center the delivery people mentioned that they could not build it because the other pieces were missing and to call customer service when the other pieces arrive and they will send someone out. When the other pieces arrived and I called customer service they said that 2 of the 4 pieces were self build and no one would come to build it. So I paid for a installation service but never received the installation. When I inquired in a refund for the service I never received they mentioned that they could not give me a refund after a long hour of a call they agreed to have someone come out and build it. I waited a week and did not hear anything I called back again and they claimed to have no record of my previous call. After speaking with lakisha in the escalations department she admitted a mistake was made on their end with the pieces ordered and that she would have someone come out to build it and would call me back with a date. I never received a call another week later I attempted to get It resolved again, speaking with people via chat who did not help at all and attempting to speak with others on the phone in which I got no where. I finally requested a refund and return and they told me I was not eligible for one and that the refund window had closed. So I finally walked into the store looking for a resolution and spoke with jeneisha and Kim the sales manager who claimed there was no record of my call with the lady in the escalation department and admitted the skus ordered were not right and the sales associate made a mistake . Kim mentioned she would order me the the right two items and waive the additional fees and have someone pick up the wrong two items… another week past and nothing, i walk in the store and ask about what is going on and they state there computers are down I then leave my name and phone number as they promised to reach out to me with a update on what occurred and I never receive a call 2 days later I call the store and they claim to have no record of me coming in either time. The lady on the phone was rude and told me that I should just come in the store with the wrong pieces and they will order the right pieces then and there. So I do just that. When I arrive at the store they would not honor any requests or previous promises by previous associates. Instead I was told I have to build the item myself and that they could not get me the correct pieces because the ones that arrived are just as compatible. At this point I’m so frustrated I’ve been told so many different things so I requested a refund and a pick up on the other items at home and will never be doing business again with this company. .

I ordered an entertainment center, was told it was delivered and it never was. They confirmed the day but said they do not have any way of tracking shipments. How can people spend this much money with a large corporation and can't track anything?! When I spend 10$ on amazon I am able to track it every step, what a joke. Finally after weeks, while I also had plenty of camera footage to show it never arrived, they send me a new one. 1 week after confirmed delivery date I receive half of the entertainment center. 2 more weeks of calling and trying to get help with no answer or tracking info, I start calling into corporate. Finally they tell me well when they reordered they have to order it piece by piece of only half of it was ordered. Now many days later I still can't get ANYONE to help me order the other half. save your time and money this place blows.

They sell furniture they can’t deliver. Initially gave us a 2 month delivery estimate, it’s now 8 months and we still don’t have our item. They don’t proactively update you on your order, you have to chase them down. Long waiting times on the phone, went to the store in person but their “systems were down” and didn’t get a call back. The latest update is again just “delayed” with no estimates on delivery. Can’t wait for this to be over so we don’t to deal with this company again.
The in-store shopping experience is good. But the customer service is terrible. The sales person helped me purchase the wrong product. It took me two months and multiple phone calls/emails to get an answer "sorry we could not proceed your return request". They even sent a technician to verify the wrong product I purchased. If a great customer service is hassle free, Ashley is the opposite: full of hassle and not the results you want.

Do not buy any item not currently available! I purchased living room furniture in November paying in full. The ottoman was on back order but I was told it would be shipped to me at the of December. At no time has Ashley contacted me with any updates, I have to call them and wait on hold. Each time I call, I am told it will be another month. The current estimate is June. I will never buy furniture here again.
#1 company in avoiding actually talking to people. Never been on hold so long so many times and then being disconnected. I live in MN and have a home in FL and no one is there. I’m trying to coordinate getting my furniture delivered and these people do not get it. Too big too care
What a difference! Initially I attempted to visit and purchase from two franchise sites in Collier and Lee counties. What a disaster! So, I called a corporate store in Tampa. Kim was the manager and was absolutely fantastic. She fixed all the previous problems and very quickly took over and got everything done easily and quickly. Thank you Kim! You are a treasure.
Gary Christ is a beast! He is so helpful and genuinely passionate about interior design and helping people find something that goes great with your living space. He knows what he is talking about, will suggest things, and lead people instead of giving fake compliments about a certain choice they made. He’s a veteran. As much as I wanted a new sofa, I hate shopping for furniture because a lot of the time, the sales staff is just like the staff at a car lot. Have to admit though, the staff at this Ashley's was super duper nice and not pushy at all. MJ showed me around the showroom, explained that they were moving displays around; but he was knowledgeable about the inventory and could answer all my questions. I told him I was on my break so didn't have a lot of time so he started showing me exactly what I wanted, still without pressure. Needless to say, he made a sale and I walked out with my new sofa! This was a great (and successful) shopping experience.
Very disappointed with one particular Associate. He was so confused that it took us almost 4 hours to just purchase a bed. The bedroom set did not even make it to our address but was send to a wrong address. No one had an answer as to how this could happen, On April 11, 2022 we went to see the manager of this store after a rather strange mix-up with the furniture we had bought. The manager was very nice and calm and apologized about this puzzling situation. Before I went to the store to complain, I tried to call the associate but his phone was blocked for incoming calls including texts. I enquired with the manager is the store has a policy of not associate not answering phone or blocking text. She told me that it was not company policy. This store has good associates their reputation is at stake because of this particular associate. We ended up cancelling our order that we had bought in February and we still do not have a bedroom suite.
Ashley sells furniture they can not deliver. We ordered simple coffee table set exactly one year ago and to this day, they have never called or confirmed a delivery date and when we reach out to them, they say it is not ready yet- the whole point behind the furniture store is the ability to actually deliver them. Lol.
I truly hate posting negative reviews, but unfortunately some places warrant it and if I can avoid an awful experience for another person or family then it’s worth my time. I don’t recommend this store location at all. We have previously furnished an entire condo with Ashley Furniture back in 2020 in Virginia Beach and the Customer Service was night and day (and that was during the pandemic) I walked into the Tampa store on Saturday 3/5 to purchase a new bedroom set for my excited 11 year old. Now 30+ days later, instead of seeing my kid happy with her furniture, I’ve had to deal with receiving broken furniture, endless phone calls trying to get ahold of someone, multiple store trips, people giving me incorrect and conflicting information, and the cherry on top is that they have refused to take the mattress back. A mattress and bunkie board I specifically purchased for their floor bed. I now have no furniture, a mattress with no box spring and a disappointed kiddo. From the very beginning my experience was unpleasant. My agent was bouncing between 3-4 families and every time I had a question I had to go hunt him down only for him to disappear again. I could tell he was rushing, but I looked passed it. I asked him to show me ALL of the coordinating furniture pieces to the floor bed and he simply pointed at what was on the floor and said that was it. He wanted a quick sale. A few days later, my daughter asked me to Google her set to show a friend and I noticed on the website there were several other coordinating pieces to the bed. So since he was rushing, he didn’t even properly do his job. He actually had a co-worker finish his transaction so he could keep juggling people. Since I didn’t know there were other options, I later tried calling to switch out one of the pieces and when I finally got ahold of someone they said I NEEDED to do it in store. Made a trip to the store and was then told that was not the case. Once there I was told that even though my furniture didn’t ship, they couldn’t cancel the chest and said I had to wait to receive it and then bring it back to the store! I received items on different dates. The entire process has been a complete waste of my time. From the people working at the front desk, my sales rep and the store manager —who didn’t even have the courtesy to return my messages, I will never shop here again and be sure to let others know my experience if they are furniture shopping. Save yourself the headache and go find a different place!

Seamless! The store associate helping us was amazing.. left us alone to wander but popped in every once in a while to see if we had any questions (which we did). Was a super-fast checkout, he suggested processing two separate orders (so as not to slow down some of the furniture arriving) and we received the first order of furniture within days. Second furniture arriving a week later. The delivery guys were also super-fast. They came early, everything was wrapped and set up and ready to place. Literally took about 10 minutes to get the furniture into the house and they were done. Would definitely go to Ashley again. Great experience!

OMG!!!! Yesterday, I had the pleasure of working with Brett Caltagirone, immediately he was helpful without being overbearing. The piece I wanted wasn’t in the store, I totally forgot that I mentioned it to him and he researched it for me and informed me when he could have it delivered. Initially, I went for a sofa and ended up getting everything I needed from Ashley, in total 5 pieces. I’m extremely happy! He was patient and made shopping fun! Good job Ashley he’s a gem!

Don't waste your time. We walked in ready to fully furnish a 2300sq ft home. We needed 2 large dinner tables, 2 full living/family room sets, 3 bedroom sets and enough patio furniture to cover 1000 Sq foot living/pool area. We were ignored on the way in. We were given little help when we did ask. After 10 minutes of wandering around alone having NO clue where to even begin, and 3 minutes of trying to get some type of guidance or info from the associate - who made it clear we would see nothing in our home for months .. we left. We went to Tampa Furniture Outlet - which carries Ashley furniture. Go to their page for that review. It's stellar. Ashley Furniture--- two thumbs down.
We purchased a display bed frame on January 29th, 2022. Barely a year later, our bed broke. Because we bought the bed from the display, we were told we HAD to take it home ourselves. The bed was in great shape until the frame broke into pieces. We paid $500 for a warranty and when we called to get a replacement piece, we were told that the warranty was voided because we did not have the frame delivered. They sold us the warranty knowing that we were not getting the piece delivered and then told us the warranty was voided because it wasn’t delivered. Makes ZERO sense and we were robbed $500.

Purchased a table at the store in Tampa and was told I could pick this table up at the warehouse two days after my purchase. They gave me a phone number to call before my pick up, and I have called this number multiple times but there is no answer. Just called the store I bought the table from and they told me the table actually won’t be available for almost another month.
Gary was fabulous! He helped us hunt down and find the perfect piece we needed for our home! He was very professional, relatable and super helpful! He also had some great furniture/“dad" jokes!
Kendall is always available, patient and attentive to whatever I am looking for. He always makes sure to check the price on line vs price in the store to ensure I'm getting the best deal offered by the store. He's also very knowledgeable about the furniture and pays close attention to the customers style when assisting them with exploring pieces of furniture. Thank you Kendall! I decided to furnish my entire apartment with Ashley products because of Kendall's customer service. I also want to acknowledge that his colleagues are great team players.

I had a very bad experience in Ashley homestore Dale mabry Tampa. There are three ladies seating in the front desk for whom the priority is their chating. I think they throw out the job that the saler do.
I found a sofa in a NJ Ashley store but wanted it for my Florida home so I called MJ at the Ashley on Dale Mabry. He was quickly able to find the product and was so helpful and responsive. The order was placed in a matter of minutes and I am so grateful for all of his help.
I went to this location on a Sunday night a week ago, an hour before closing and I wasn't greeted or helped in any capacity. I was in the store for at least 15/20 minutes walking around looking for a sofa and no ever acknowledged my presence. I even walked right past a group of employees who were having a good time talking amongst themselves and no one said a word. When my friend came in to find me he said the same thing, no one spoke or asked me if I needed help. Funny thing is he was in search for a bed. Your loss!!! I'm totally disgusted!
Bought a mattress at this location, after a week the mattress was giving me back pain. I tried calling the store and never was able to get someone. I went to the store to see if I can exchange the Mattress to a softer one since the mattress is new, it’s under the 30 days. They told me they can’t do anything for me. Bad customer service. Will never buy anything at this location.
My family and I had an amazing experience working with the staff including the manager Craig. Not only were they nice and friendly but they stayed well after close to make sure our questions, orders, price match was all correct. They were also very easy going which made the process very helpful. I'm looking forward to furnishing the rest of my house with Craig, Sam, and Yanlin!
There furniture is good but if you shop online they will take a payment and return it and take the payment and return it and each time you are paying more. This furniture store is a nightmare, it sells the most expensive furnitures in the Tampa area, and they don't even have it in the warehouse. I was waiting almost a year to receive a piece of furniture, and because I was tired of waiting, I had to cancel the coffee table because it never arrived. The salespeople are not honest and the customer services is the worst, including the managers. After so many months of waiting, my furniture arrived damaged and the coffee table, they stole my money, they did not refunded what I had paid. I hope and the other customers do not have suffer the same things. Because I am going to warning all of my my friends, not to go there to buy anything. Because that furniture store has a low prestige, poor and unprofessional business.

Worst Company Ever! Took 2 months to deliver broken merchandise. Been waiting three weeks for refund and to have them come pick up. Tried to return to store and was told they would arrest me for “abandoning property”. Sounds to me like this happens a lot. Terrible customer service. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!!!

The warehouse screwd up our order so badly that I don't even have the words for how bally they screwd up. Like no furniture at one point. Zane was so helpful and so sorry for the screw up. So sales wise amazing. But you are rolling the dice with actually getting what you ordered.

All furniture at my home is from Ashley's because I loved their furniture, however I can assure you after the last experience I had with them I will take my business else where . They are all for treating you like a queen when they're selling you something but as soon as you give your money to them they absolutely dont care whether you get your product or not. I ordered a rug from them for which I waited over a month and I called them at least 5 times to get a tracking number and I kept getting the round around from the customer care team and the store it self. I finally came up to the store and they "built a case" for which they said someone would contact me within 72 hours, which of course noone did. So I called and finally I got a tracking number and come to find out, it had been delivered a week prior . So now I'm left without my money and without my rug because they couldn't "build a case" to get me a tracking number sooner. I went to the store the 'sales manager" said she couldn't so anything store level to call customer care, I called customer care and they said it was up to the store. I'm not sure what the purpose of the managers is if they can't make a decision to fix a customer's concern, bottom line is if you're looking to buy furniture don't go here, you'll either won't get your furniture for the next 6 months or you just won't get it all and lose your money.
The salesman Brett Caltagirone was the best! He handled things over the phone for me due to my health condition until I was able to make it into the store for the actual purchase. He went above and beyond and even got me 2 day delivery! Last year I purchased a dual reclining extra wide couch and a lift chair. I have been very pleased with everything from Ashley Furniture. I highly recommend and definitely go see Brett!
I purchased a bedroom set from this store and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The salesperson Emeli Stevens was so patient and kind it was so refreshing. The store actually closed but she never made us feel like we needed to hurry up. I will totally be purchasing again. ❤️❤️❤️
Nico was great to work with. Prior to coming in to the retail store I had looked at the website and had a good idea what I was looking for. Nico brought me right over to the pieces I was interested in and answered all my questions, demonstrated how the sofas worked etc. Relocating is stressful & I thought for sure I’d be weeks w/o a sofa, I was pleasantly surprised when he told me I could have it delivered the following Monday!
DO NOT BUY A THING FROM THIS STORE. Everything came damaged. They did not want to take it back . Have not refunded my money . Will have to take them to court . This just should not happen . They were yelling at me . Just giving a heads up . Wish someone had told me .

The expert from beginning to end was so wonderful I came back a month later he asked me to let him know my arrival date and he was ready for me. I bought the furniture for the rest of my home. My wife and I went to check out some furniture for our home and Issac helped us. He first greeted us to understand what we were looking for; then directed us to the areas. He followed up after 10 mins, as promised, and was extremely helpful in walking through each section. He is knowledgeable, patient and very professional. He truly represented the store in an exceptional manner. He asked the right questions and was able to explain and take us to exactly what we wanted. I think the store should recognize him as employee of the month.
During our recent move from MD to FL, the movers broke the rails to our bed. I attempted to call the store on Dale Mabry but was unsuccessful, as they hardly ever answer. I chose to chat with a representative on the Ashley website and they directed me to the Consumer Affairs Department, in order to see what we needed to do to get replacement parts for the bed. Consumer Affairs directed us to make the replacement order in store. Again, after calling the Dale Mabry location over ten times, I was finally able to speak with someone. Unfortunately, the woman was not knowledgeable on replacement part orders ( I had some questions before we made the 35min drive), and neither was the sales representative that she had to keep asking for help, regarding our situation. They eventually told me we needed to come to the store to make the purchase. My husband went to the store today to order the replacement parts BUT the sales representatives gave him a "regional customer care" number because "you aren't able to make replacement part orders in store." I spent 50 mins on hold to speak with the regional customer care representatives who also told me that the replacement part order needs to be made in the local store. The employees at Ashley's Dale Mabry are seriously incompetent when it comes to replacement part orders. We are going to try and contact an Ashley's store further out and hopefully they are actually useful.

Kendall, my salesman, was professional and so knowledgeable. My first choice wasn't what I expected but then Kendall searched the entire store to find something I had completely overlooked online. The collection was the color I wanted and built quite solidly. I am very pleased I went to Ashley and found Kendall!

Absolute terrible experience. Customer service does not know how to place a replacement order. Not only did we receive a damaged nightstand AND dresser, it took 3 agents to order a new dresser piece. After calling to find out where the piece was in transit, we were told they were not able to order the piece and no order was ever placed. After ordering both a new dresser AND nightstand we received both products with ZERO hardware. Unbelievable experience. 2 months of having ordered and received these items we still cannot put them together. Never been more disappointed. Great deals for terrible service! It all makes sense now.
Went today just to see prices and we ended with all we need thanks to MJ. His not just great... his excellent in custumer service! Help us a lot and find us great deals, very honest and kind! Also the mananger of the place, we do recomend to shop on their store no just for the furniture but because of the way they treat you since you enter. About their deliver they were honest from the beginning on the possible waiting time so know what to expect!

I purchased a couch from their store in Tampa on 25 June, they informed me that the couch will be ready by end august (early September max). In July, i called them to double check, only to be informed that the couch is delayed till early September (I'm glad i called because i received no notifications of the delay). I called them again on August 27, only to be informed that the couch is now delayed till mid October! This is way passed the deadline they told me when selling me the couch. No apologies were made, no compensation was made, they did not even admit that this is even an issue. The customer service blamed the warehouse, warehouse blamed the head office. It's a mess. I really love that couch but unfortunately working with Ashley is one of the worst experiences ever. I do not advise you to buy furniture from them unless it is available at store. If anyone from management can assist me in getting my couch earlier, would be great. Otherwise i will ask for a full refund and will not enter your store again.
Yanlin was great with helping us find the right fit for our home. She even remembered us from a month ago and didn’t pressure us to make a purchase. The store is also nice, you can visualize what the furniture will look like in your house and you may even leave with additional ideas (purchases).

One of the worst experiences in a long time. Wanted a wooden dresser and couldn't get the one I wanted originally online from a different store so I visited Ashley's. Salesman walked me through some options and stated the one I liked was in fact wood and placed an order that direct shipped. Apparently this is different from two other types of shipping they have but it was never explained. Got the dresser delivered and unboxed the parts to it together. Two major issues. One it turns out it is particle board and two several pieces were damaged. Reached out to Customer Care who sends me an email to reply back to with pictures, which I did same day. Over the course of 10 days I get zero followup from Customer Care and the store itself even after numerous calls. They each state that because of the way it was shipped the other group needed to address the issue. Finally get the office manager on the line and after explaining the situation yet again she says she has to submit info to Customer Care. At that point I politely state that this was already done and it was now supposed to be in her hands. I proceed to tell her I'd we don't get resolution by end of that day I would institute a chargeback. She gets flustered and says she can get Customer Care on the line. After another hour on the line with them Customer Care takes over and she drops off. Lo and behold when Customer Care calls us back since the call dropped, the rep states it looks like the replacement order process was started (our guess is by the office manager). As of this time we are still waiting for Ashley's to call back to confirm the replacement order and pickup of the damaged dresser. I can honestly say I will never buy from them again based on this experience. In all honesty since we still haven't heard back we should start the chargeback process. That might get them to actually address the issue. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone we know.

The sales associate, Rogers, kindly greeted us and helped my fiancee and I make decisions on a mattress and a couch with a bedroom set. The quality amazed me and I'm very thankful Rogers was able to work with us to give us a great price we felt happy about. Ask for Rogers for a great experience.

He helped customize our selection to fit our measurements at our new home and mapped out all of the details to look out for leading up to the delivery. On June 24th I was eager to start my new life in Tampa, with New Furniture from Ashley. I really loved the selection and during these trying times of Covid and material shortages...All my pieces were in stock at the time of order. At the time of delivery on July 15th, my mattress was not delivered with all the other furniture, the sleeper sofa was not operating properly as well and my base for the queen mattress was incorrect, it should have been a Bunkie. The delivery men were polite and courteous, they stated that the exchange could be made for the wrong items and a technician could repair the sleeper sofa. I slept on the couch the first night, since I had no bed. The second night I bought an air mattress at an additional expense to me and spent numerous times on the phone trying to get everything corrected. Since that time to now, I have spent numerous time and energy to get the situation rectified...talking to numerous parties at the store(i have been there 4xs total, I wish I was there to buy more furniture but all i have is problems) Now David, helped yesterday and resolved the issue of getting a bunkie but the return of the wrong item that cost $199 is still an issue. Do they not realize that could turn into me buying $2000 more of furniture if the situation would be rectified??? I was there yesterday and saw at least 5-6 items I would have been happy to buy, in the hours that I was there, instead of trying to get the order corrected.

Here sits half my couch that I ordered in May for a July 24 delivery. I have been billed for a full couch and I have been promised a full couch since July now we are mid August but no couch. I walk in store several times to find out where my couch is to see about 10 sales people eagerly standing around and one to two customer service agent drowning in complaints. Here we are Sunday evening after being told I would have a Monday delivery only to be called and told it will not happen until DECEMBER. WTH. I am so very upset. My family will have no where to sit for the holidays. How is a company able to do this? Now for the fight to get my money back and for them to pick up half a couch. SMH. Ashley furniture has the worst delivery ever the guys who came to my home were very lazy had an excuse on why they couldn’t fit the couch in my home there was no effort made at all. I have bigger pieces of furniture in my home where I had no issues of getting it in. You can tell they just wanted to call it a day I will not ever shop at Ashley Furniture again I paid good money for furniture to not be placed in my home and was told I can re select. I have attached a photo showing how they were trying to bring it in as well.
I will never again in my life order online from Ashley furniture again. I got a door step delivery of a bed room set that came with half of the furniture broken & scuffed. I called immediately to report it & after getting the run around for nearly 3 months via phone, emails & Facebook messenger I am finally receiving my exchange furniture only because I agreed to stop fighting about a $300 gift card I was offered by the second representative I spoke too when inquiring why I hadn’t heard anything back about my exchange. Shame on this well known name of a company for what they made me go through regardless the fact that I had paid a high price for the insurance plan on my set!

Absolutely the WORST experience. April was my 1st time ever ordering from here (online) and I will never again. Ordered a bedroom set in April and haven't received it yet. Now July and I've spoken to about 8 agents and they are all giving me different answers to where my order is. They are not on the same page AT ALL and I finally just ended up canceling my complete Order. I've always ordered from Rooms 2 Go and never had issues! Rooms 2 go is the place to go!!!
If I could give this store 0 stars I would. The first time I went to this store was back in the end of April, I went in needing to furnish almost an entire house. I spent over $6,000 in this store and the service I have received is horrible. First, the entire living room set I ordered got back ordered and nobody even notified me. Once I went back to pick out another couch then that one got back ordered as well. I finally ended up settling for the 4 couch option then once it got delivered it came in with RED marker all over the cushions. I ordered $400 a piece polywood Adirondack chairs and their delivery crew assembled them wrong creating their own holes which stretched and ruined the polywood! I ordered a dining room table and bench that was supposedly solid wood but it came in with chips all over the legs and the bench was broken. I ordered a bedroom set and the nightstands work great but the dresser came in with a huge crack along the bottom. I have called the customer service number for Ashley 12+ times, they will not return any of these items!!! They sent out a tech who reassembled the chairs, however you can still clearly see the drill holes that aren't supposed to be there. He then spray painted the chips on the table and super glued the bench....SERIOUSLY? When he left he told me someone would call me to compensate for the damages or give the option to return within 24 hours. That was 3 weeks ago. I have since called in to the customer service over 8 times and every time I am told someone will call me back in 24-48 hours. STILL NO CALL BACK. Nobody at the store will answer my phone calls or help either, now I am stuck with $6,000 worth of damaged poor quality furniture! DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE.

Getting through to anyone at the store was horribly exasperating and when we did go into the store to speak with our salesperson she definitely was not as kind as she was initially. It seemed that these furniture delays are upsetting the consumer, but also putting these sales representatives under extreme pressure. Please be prepared to wait months for furniture. After being horribly disappointed with Kane’s furniture, we were in search for a bedroom set and was able to secure one in stock plus a mattress for the same price of the set we waited on for 2 months from Kane’s. Elizabeth C. worked tirelessly with us to find the right set at the right price that was available in a timely manner. We gave her a price and she worked the numbers until we were happy. She was just as patient and sweet as could be as well. If you are in need of furniture, please ask for her. You will not be disappointed.

I didn't need the assembly because I bought the same item previously and assembled it with no problem. HANDS DOWN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. They are wonderful in the beginning (before they have your money) but the second they have your money they are horrendous. Getting in touch with ANYONE has cost me hours of my time. They have confirmed then cancelled deliveries on the same day TWICE. Their technician arrived two hours late. I could not get ahold of an associate at the store I purchased for two days. I was told to just continue calling. When I finally got a hold of someone the manager conveniently just left and the other was in a meeting. He called left no direct line and again I was left unable to contact the store. I ended up having to go to the store to speak to someone after a twelve hour shift. I’ve been on hold for forty minutes waiting on an automatic line only to be hung up on. The frustration with the company is endless. Save your headache and pay more for better customer service because you will not get that here.

What a surprice when I realized one of the chair was broken down, exactly the last one they brought into my house, the delivery guys letf quickly without having time for check out the furnitune. Because I paid for five years protection plan right away I called Ashley they requested me some picture that I sent by email. I still having no answers no follows up, I've been sending more emails and nothing from Ashley side. I sharing my history giving you the opportunity to think twice before buy something from Ashley HomeStore because they are not cheap but their quality and the service after purchase.
I bought an Ashlor Nuvella 5-piece sectional. The Right-Arm facing corner came in bad condition. I called customer service and they sent a technician; The technician tried to fixed it, but it got worse. I expressed to the technician being NOT happy with the result; he said it would be better to replace the item and left my house. I was waiting for some answers and as I didn't get any call back, I decided to call them again. Once I did it, I found out the technician didn't fill any report about it and they needed to send another technician one more time. So another technician came and said the same thing; So yesterday I called again and they said I need to contact the sales person, I called the sales person and the sales person asked me to contact customer service; every department just throw the ball and nobody takes responsibility. Save money and time being away from buying stuff on this store, that's my advice. I bought the set on 02/14/2021, and on 05/23/2021 still have a broken new item. Good job Ashley Furniture.

Simply the worst all around, delivered damaged bed and they said it was all set. Customer service never helps at all. Couch was delivered and we were told they don’t deliver to the forth floor, after they’ve taken my money and paid for delivery... typical run around every engagement it’s sick. Truly drives me crazy how much time we’ve spent on this, lived here for a month and still don’t have most of our furniture. Don’t waste your time.

Very helpful staff but the manager that was there today ( 04/25/2021) obviously didn’t care about making a sale, the reason why a say this is because the set of lamps that I purchased are delayed by 2-3 weeks and while in the store, I noticed that they had 2 sets of those lamps in display. I asked if I could take one of those sets with me today since I already purchased it, and the one that they ordered for me they could keep it, and the manager refused without even a thought. The only reason why I kept the purchase instead of canceling it was because the sales girl that was assisting me was very attentive and helpful.

We have purchased from Ashley before at different stores and always had a pleasant experience, but we drove to Tampa to see if they actually had a piece we saw online in store. We were greeted by Anna Marie and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. We did place an order with her and I would say it was another five star experience! We looked around online as usual but always seem to find the solution at Ashley.
Still waiting for furniture. It was suppose to be 6-8 weeks to receive. But its being already 10 weeks and am suppose to wait more when spoken to customer service.

Horrendous experience, the sofa broke after 3 weeks, 3 months later I’m still sat on the floor because their engineer took 4 weeks to come visit, then another week for a decision and then another 2 to get a delivery date which is 2 months out! You can’t get hold of anyone at the store, you get put on hold for 40 minutes and then it cuts out, They refuse any kind of compensation and offered me a gift card instead I would go to American signature, never had a problem with them and great quality/customer service, Ashley furniture is a complete joke !! I had an amazing experience at the Ashley's of Dale Mabry. If you are going into the store you need to ask for Zane!!! He takes the time to learn your style, doesn't pressure you, and is over the top helpful. I'm not surprised by his great service because I have gotten the chance to meet their manager, Craig, and he is nothing but top-notch himself. We ordered a couch in November and were never told it was on back order. Two months later we request a refund and the company can't find our order at all. It took multiple phone calls and a trip to the store itself to get our money back. Even then, our order was never found. The manager was less than helpful.
If you go in, YOU MUST ASK FOR SAMANTHA!! We worked with another associate and eventually walked out. When we went back and worked with Samantha, we bought in 3 minutes! She’s exceptional and knows what she’s doing.

Set up was left off my order, spent 2 days trying to contact the store and my sales guy, Elijah, because customer service couldn’t help me. They referred me back to the store which I couldn’t contact because no one would answer on top of my sales guy, Elijah, so I drove there to dispute what was going on. We have been to several AF stores over the yrs and couldn't remember the sales associate we have had in the past but this one MALLORY stucked to us and not because she wanted the sale. Ask for Hunter if you go to Ashley’s in Tampa!!! Hunter definitely delivered a wonderful experience and was super patient as we made selections and changed our minds along the way. The manger that assisted was also wonderful!

Terrible, absolutely terrible. I wouldnt for the life of god recommend this place. HORRENDOUS customer service, both on the agents side and on their dispatcher outsourced delivery team. I wont go on a tangent like everyone else, but lets just say their delivery does not have the highest reputation.

The selection at this store is great and Brett was the best! Brett was super attentive but didn’t hover and pressure us like the typical salesman. If you’re looking for high quality service and someone who knows the ins and outs of the product, go see Brett at the Dale Mabry store!
Horrible customer service. They never contacted me back with the issue I was having . Will never use Ashley furniture again seeing the other reviews I highly recommend you don't go here . All they care about is the sale after that you're on your own .
Two sales reps fought over our order right in front of us (Emily was one of them and she cornered us saying as customer we have to influence the other rep to share her sales credits with her). We found this very amateur but with our orders placed, and scheduled for delivery anytime we thought of forgiving this incident. We had paid for delivery and installation. The delivery guys came at 7 pm on a schedule clock of 1 pm to 7 pm and searched for missing hardware and made phone calls for next one hour from our drive way and based on the instructions they received, dumped the incomplete set in our garage saying someone from Ashely will get in touch with us. It has been two days and no one called from Ashley Dale Mabry checking how the delivery went or to discuss about the missing pieces or installation that was not done. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ASHLEY DALE MABRY. We ordered furniture from ROOMS TO GO, Westley Chapel on that same day and their delivery was in time, installation as expected and they even did a courtesy phone call from the store an hour after the delivery completed to make sure we are happy. I am taking my future business to ROOMS TO GO.
***BUYERS BEWARE Where do I begin? The absolute worst furniture buying experience ever. Mainly due to the empty promises that your furniture will arrive "much faster than our competitors." Customer service has been a nightmare and I will never spend a dime more on this sad excuse of a company. You will be on hold with customer service for 30+ mins and more than likely they will unsurprisingly not resolve your issue. Had my furniture delivery delayed nearly 2 months. Had I known that this would be the experience buying with Ashley would be like, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Also, the employee delivering a separate order of furniture was the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. Overall just bad.
Ashley furniture really could care less about making things right with their customers or even calling them back! Both my wife and myself have reached out numerous times to have our mattress inspected. They refuse to even send an inspector because we moved!!! We furnished our whole house with everything from this store and to not even get a call back and basically told to kick rocks is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. Ever. I will never shop at this or any other Ashley Furniture store and I will be sure to let anyone I come into contact with to do the same! What a waste of time and money!!! I would give zero stars if it would let me!!!
Worst experience ever! At the time of purchase, sales reps were rude and seemed uninterested in helping customers instead stood around and engaged in personal conversations. The same scenario occurred when I visited a second time to pick up a piece of furniture. I was told at the outset that deliveries were delayed due to COVID, this I understood. However, I have had what initially would be two deliveries turn into what has now been five deliveries with still not all of the pieces being delivered. I suspect there will be yet another delay or missing piece at the time of the next delivery. Calling to reschedule is a problematic and time consuming process. It takes a long time to finally get someone on the phone and when you do, the rep is always confused, has a bad tone, or has no idea what is going on with my order. During one of the deliveries, I was told a table was "damaged at the warehouse" and I would have to reschedule the delivery. On the second occasion, the delivery people damaged the table while putting together, again leaving me to have to reschedule delivery. Overall, employees have been rude, unhelpful, and seem to have very little interest in their jobs or in customer satisfaction. I will never purchase furniture through Ashley again. I expected a lot more from a company of this size and reputation.
Had a legendary experience, from the sales perspective to the upper management. I was approached and introduced to the store manager and later was gifted with a $25 gift card for Ashley. My wife and I bought a super comfy rocking chair. The store manager deserves an extra Kudo for helping my wife to her forgotten phone after hours. Thanks again and I hope you can see this!

Worst customer service I have received in my entire life. 15 week delay deliver and multiple delivery days missed while I took off of work. The staff on the phone just transfers you around but no one can do anything. It would be quicker and higher quality to cut down a tree and build furniture yourself.
**PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING** This place is an absolute joke. We have had so many issues with everything that we’ve purchased. We purchased a king size mattress, box spring and headboard. T
