Great experience ordering from Daniel. I needed to order some furniture for my mother, but the AC went out in my car so I was trying to avoid coming into the store. Daniel helped me do the entire order over text and he even helped me select a bed and a mattress that would be comfortable for my older mother (lower bed, softer mattress). He was also respectful of her budget.

Honestly just a mess , it’s not even worth it. I came into the store knowing exactly what I wanted. I went up to the sales associate and was ready to order the coffee table a quick simple purchase . He looked bothered to be there even though he literally didn’t do anything. He ordered the table he told me the date of pickup and I asked him THREE TIMES can I just show up on this date or will I get an email of availability or delay and he responded each time just show up. I show up on the day of pickup after driving 45 minutes to be told the orders not off the truck and I need to come back on Tuesday. Tuesday I call this time to make sure , she tells me that now it’s somehow back ordered. After going back and forth for 30 minutes asking how it’s back ordered when it was on the truck the other day she finally finds it. I show up to the warehouse to pick it up and the guy brings it to my car. I told him the sales associate told me to have you show it to me in case theirs damage. He proceeds to refuse to open it because theirs to much packaging. At this point I’m so over it all I take it home. Upon taking it home I find discoloration and a huge spot of idk what right on the marble. It’s not even worth bringing back and dealing with them

Stopped by Ashley because we couldn't find the small loveseat with convertible bed we were looking for any place else. We were greeted at the door promptly and given the opportunity to wander around a little bit alone so we didn't feel overwhelmed. On cue, Rita G. popped over to answer several questions and we're leaving the happy owners of what we came looking for. An excellent experience!

Communication! I have been waiting for delivery of furniture and a mattress only to find out that only part of the order will be delivered. The mattress and dresser will be delivered almost 2 1/2 weeks later. My son now needs to sleep on an air mattress. Extremely frustrating!!!

Coffee table looks nice and had only 2 steps to assemble. Unfortunately, the sockets must be incorrect on half of the legs because the screws would not go in or not go beyond half way. The the table holds together but is not as sturdy as it should be. I tried twisting both ways and I even removed the leg to just try to get the screw to go into the socket but still nothing.

I purchased a dining table in store and the young lady stated it was in stock and it would be delivered on Tuesday 11/5-Now I get a call from customer service stating it is not in warehouse and wont be delivered until Friday the 8th. Very disappointed that I was lied to just to make a sale. I have a business I have to open, and now it will be void of a dining table for 4 days for my disabled children to have somewhere to eat their meals Thank you Ashley

I love the furniture I didn’t like the way the delivery is set up it sucks it took a whole month/7 trips to get 2 bedroom sets n a living room set and a dinette set it took 7 trips. I missed a couple days of work only to have furniture deliver piece by piece

Buying process is like buying a car. I had to give 3 electronic signatures and then two paper signatures, took over 10min to just TRY to buy $80 bar chairs. Then they weren’t available to pick up at the warehouse when I was told they would. No email or phone call that there would be a delay. It was a 40min drive to the warehouse to be turned away. Then I had a slick sales person try and get sassy with us during checkout. Just a bad experience all together.

I purchased three bar stools from the store on Dale Mabry in August. The bar stools were shorter than previously disclosed, and one of them was damaged. I’ve been trying to get the bar stool fixed, have them exchanged, or have the payment refunded, but the company refused either. UPDATE 11-13-24 Answer from Asley Furniture to issue with purchase of barstools with price over $500 purchased at the store on Dale Mabry in the month of August: Thank you for your prompt response,I’m looking forward to a resolution. The only picture that I can provide is the one with the damage on the barstool leg. The swivel noise can’t be reproduce on a picture and the actual size of the barstool was confirmed by the furniture representative on his report. Went to buy furniture for my son’s room and guest room. I had some specific size restrictions that I had to keep in mind and Ary was very helpful with finding the best options for me. She was very patient and I ended the shopping experience with everything I needed.

Staff was very friendly and patient. I ordered a few pieces and just before it was supposed to be delivered i was informed that one piece needed to be delivered the week after as they didn't have it in stock. The week after I was on vacation. So I asked a friend to go over once they call with the delivery. They promised to call at least 30 minutes prior delivery so my friend could rush over. They called telling me on that day that they are 8 minutes out. I told them that I would call my friend to get over there. My friend lives 15 minutes away. When they got there they called me again complaining that nobody is at the house. I told them that in less than 10 minutes someone would be there. One minute later Ashley HQ called telling me that if nobody opens the door in the next few minutes that they would leave. My friend just arrived in time when they literally pulled out. They finally carried the piece inside but never built up the furniture. After getting back from vacation I called the store several times for someone to get out to build it up. I was only told that they will talk to customer service. Never got an answer. I ended building it up myself which took me 3 hours and lots of frustration. That's why I paid them for that service.

Ordered furniture in June. Received order damaged. Took many phone calls to get someone to come out and replace it which they did in September. The furniture they replaced it with was also damaged. Was told I would receive a credit and as of October 31 at credit has not been applied to my account. Spoke with customer service numerous times, and cannot seem to get a solution to my problem. I do not advise anyone to shop at Ashley furniture.

All this store cares about is making the sale, not servicing the customer. Ordered a table Oct 1 with delivery scheduled for Oct 11. Date was changed due to hurricanes. New date was Oct 20. About week out they called and said they don't deliver on Sundays. New date was Oct 22. Got a call around the 15th and said they didn't have the product, maybe it was damaged, but no one knew why it couldn't be delivered. Got a new date of Oct 30. The week before I started receiving numerous text messages and emails asking me to confirm the delivery date. On the 29th, I received a message that the delivery window was 1145-345 on the 30th. Received a call on the 30th at 9am that they really didn't have the unit and they would deliver on Nov 11. I told them to cancel the order and refund my money. I went to the store and spoke with the manager to confirm the order was canceled. He offered to order and sell me another unit which I thought was ridiculous considering they couldn't even deliver the one I ordered. I asked the manager to sell me one of the 2 units on the floor and he refused to do so unless I bought the end tables too. I don't need end tables. He was not upset at all when I told him I guess we aren't doing business then. Lousy customer service. I will never go to an Ashley store again.

After buying 2 big sectionals and footrests, we are happy with the furniture. However the delivery men were rude and made the person receivjng the furniture uncomfortable. I filed a case complaint and have had no response or call back. They are a big disappointment and no respect for the their customers comfort with delivery people.

I did some measurements and came back next day with a few extra questions that he handled with ease. Furniture purchases were easy and delivery is now within 2 weeks. Awesome experience!

This Ashley furniture was a fantastic experience. Fred was very knowledgeable and extremely patient with me as I made my decisions. There was no pressure whatsoever and he took the time to make sure I understood everything before finalizing anything. Would highly recommend this store in the future. UPDATE: Upon confirming my delivery date and getting rid of my old furniture, Ashley proceeds to tell me DURING MY DELIVERY that my couch has been back ordered and that they would “have to call me back” to reschedule. I had to call every day for 6 days in a row because my “sale was locked” for them to finally tell me it would be delivered Dec 3rd (6 weeks after I purchased it). I told them I needed a couch before the holidays and they offered me a different couch (different style, size and color but don’t worry it was more expensive ) with $200 off and deliver on Nov 14, but they had to confirm that they could switch it since the couch was technically more expensive. The next time they tell me that it’s actually going to be delivered Nov 20th and they don’t know why the delivery date keeps changing. I tell them just to cancel it and they say that the manager is on lunch and she will call me back. Another 3 days of calling before they (Finally) tell me it’s cancelled. I would like to think they were sincerely trying but after over a week of no real answer as to why this was so difficult and taking a hit to my credit with their credit card, my patience has completely worn out. Went to Rooms to Go and got a similar couch to what I originally wanted but better quality and $400 cheaper.

Parked my car in there parking lot and got my car towed, worst experience of my life. Talking with other people and decided I would write a negative review as well because it was in there parking lot and I hope they see this and know what happens on your property. They drive your car recklessly to make money and cause damage to your vehicles. (We heard multiple stories from people saying that they had guns pointed at them or people witnessing cars hitting curbs, to people saying that didn’t even attend the event and were just walking to chili’s because there was no parking, we literally saw someone’s gas line break and leak in the parking lot) You guys should do better and call a different towing company when someone’s on your guys property or parking lot.

After receiving multiple emails and text confirming the delivery of my item and on the day of "delivery", received a phone call saying my delivery was 10 minutes out, it never arrived. I called customer service and was told the item never made it to the warehouse.

Worst experiences I've ever had with a company. They towed my car without any valid reason even after I was told I could prevent it by paying $40 for an event on Friday. Thanks Ashley's Furniture for making it clear how little you care about people who pay for parking on you lot. Trust me I'll be spreading the word. I've already contacted my lawyer. To top it all off after paying $190 to get my car back I found out it had been damaged. My wife & I had to walk over an hour to pick it up last night. This experience was truly upsetting and I hope no one else has to go through something like this.

I recently had a terrible experience with Ashley home furniture on Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa and feel i was subjected to unfair practices. I worked with a sales rep, Rachel, when shopping for a couch. I told her that this was my first experience buying furniture, and mentioned during the experience I wasn’t sure the couch would fit. She was super nice and told me that if the couch was delivered and it didnt fit that I only needed to refuse the delivery. When the couch arrived, it was far too big to fit in my living room in the configuration it was meant to be in (sectional). However, the delivery drivers would not let me refuse the delivery and told me I would have to call the store to do an exchange. Leaving the pieces of the couch in my living room. When I called the store, they informed me that it was final sale. They refused to honor what their sales person told me, and now I am stuck with a couch that is far too big for my house. I did not wish to exchange the entire couch. I only wanted to replace a couple of pieces in order that the couch would fit into my house. They would not even work with me on that, telling me I would have needed to refuse the delivery (which i tried to do) and then said again that it was final sale, even though i was told at purchase that i could refuse the delivery. So far I have spoken to 4 different people to try to fix this and have been told 4 conflicting accounts of the store return policy. I do not want others to be tricked as I was into buying something that won’t even work for them under misrepresented policies with no recourse. Additionally, no one should shop with a company that shows so little interest in making sure their customers are satisfied. This was not a frivolous request. This couch literally cannot be used in my house as there is no room to walk around it. I would not want this to happen to another consumer.

If I could give negative stars I would. I placed an order for 2 items and never received any confirmation that the order was placed but my credit card was charged. I spoke to the Ashley chat CSRs who were a waste of time. They kept telling to wait 24 hours for the order to show up which I did and the order still didn't show up. I finally spoke to some Ashley contractor who told me to wait 3 more days while Ashley investigated; that time period has come and gone with no help or contact from Ashley. I went to the credit card company already but I'll have to go to them again to get them to cancel the charge. Ashley is a poor excuse for a company.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture that I feel compelled to share. When my couch was delivered in May, the delivery employees damaged my property, breaking a wall glass mirror. Despite my immediate report of the incident, Ashley Furniture has refused to assist with the matter. After a frustrating two-month wait, I received a letter in July—not even a phone call—informing me that they would not cover the damage. They dismissed the issue as a "word vs word" situation, completely ignoring the evidence I provided. The damage to my property, which I had moved into just a week before, is valued at over $2,000. Ashley Furniture's poor customer service policies and blatant lack of responsibility and accountability have left me deeply dissatisfied. I will not be purchasing from them ever again and will not recommend them to anyone I know. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Ashley Furniture at all costs.

Save yourself a headache and DO NOT shop here! Read bad reviews 1st before purchasing here. Have no issue with the sales associates. They were very nice and helpful, but you will NOT get your delivery when promised! My son bought a sectional from them, and they told him it will be here on the 6/6. Never arrived, then told him 6/8, then told him 6/20. My son already got rid of his furniture. Luckily for him there were still memorial day sales going on. So he went to American Signature instead and got his furniture on 6/13. Then he called Ashley's to cancel his order. They refuse to refund his money! He had to call back 10 business days later to get the money he was suppose to be refunded. And up til now he still hasn't been refunded his money. Not sure what's up with Ashley furniture, but corporate needs to seriously look at this location and fire who ever their delivery partners are. Even when my son called to complain about his late delivery they were still being stingy about the deliver fee, and they only offered to waive the fee after he called back to cancel. I've heard and read so many painful stories about their customers just trying to receive the order they paid for, then delaying the refund when your customers cancel because you can't deliver?! This is just terrible business etiquette. Will be reporting this location to BBB.

Don’t ever buy at Ashley furniture especially Dale Mabry in Tampa. Broken dresser delivered and distorted sectional and their policies say two technicians have to come in to deem it broken before replacing it. Both techs came and could not fix the issues. At this point, have had many conversations with a guy name Roe who currently is not working there anymore then transferred to Karen the store manager who is the rudest person I’ve ever dealt. She was zero help and dismissive saying I have to continue to wait for warranty dept to contact me about broken dresser. I asked her to try and escalate my issues and she continued to recite policies and procedures versus trying to help me. She refused to provide me with the Regional Manager contact number who apparently works beside her and refused to even provide me her name. Transparency does not exist at this Tampa Ashley store. Do better.

We may have had a bad luck with the sales rep. Prices there was much higher than anywhere else

What a terrible exeprience. Order sectional sofa on 5/22, and they said it would be delievered 6/6. Even got a text on 6/3 to confirm that my sectional would be delievered 6/6. Therefore, I took time off of work to make sure I would be home, and got rid of my old couches the day before. Waited all damn day, not a call, text, email, nothing! So finally around 5pm I called customer services to see when they will be delivering my sectional. To my surprise they reschedule my delivery to 6/8 on a Saturday. Told them I'm a human being and have plans 6/8, and will not be home most of the day. Customer services said to call the store directly to see what my options are. Called the store, the store said actually we don't have part your sectional yet, and the earilest it will arrive at the warehouse is 6/17. Which will also need to go through inspection, so earliest delivery date is now 6/20! 2 weeks from the orginal delivery date! I already got rid of my old couches and I have guest coming over this weekend. I would of canceled the damn order if I waited around again all day Saturday and it wasn't deliever. Its like why lie and say that it will be delivered on 6/8 when you don't even have part of the sectional? Also why am I paying $200 for delivery, for something that couldn't even be delievered when promised? Luckily the nice lady on the phone was able to reduce the delivery fee down to $99, however in my humble opinion that delivery fee should of been completely waived considering Ashely did not uphold their part of the bargain? And now I don't have anywhere to sit for 2 weeks. I don't care what they promise you. Do NOT get rid of your old couches until the new one arrives. More than likely your delivery date will get moved becasuse they over order and under deliver. I will be shopping for couches this weekend, and if I find something I fall in love with I'm calling Ashley to cancel my order. Update: Went to American Signature. Got my couch that same week. When I went to cancel my Ashley order, they offered to waive the delivery fee completely now. Lol, what a joke. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. You will NOT get your order in a timely manner.

I needed to buy a lot of furniture for a new addition built onto my house, and Dana made it so easy. It should have taken a lot longer than it did, but Dana was so helpful and made it stress-free. ANOTHER UPDATE — Technician came and told us that he would recommend that Ashley replace the cover. After many weeks of hearing nothing from Ashley we reached out and were told that the technician said he was able to get the stain out, which is not true. Ashley is sticking by the report even though it is not what actually happened or what we were told and they are refusing to replace the cover. In fact; they haven’t even responded to my most recent email. Joe is still a great sales rep and we appreciate him, but not this particular sofa quality and not the service we experienced from Ashley furniture afterwards. UPDATE—- small stain from a piece of chocolate from a guest on the cushion within a month of purchase. Did not come off with recommended cleaning methods. Scheduled with technician but it was very difficult to get this. Will update with outcome. Customer Service by Queencynth Sales — Great experience tailored to our needs— ask for joe! We found a great option, practical and beautiful, with no pressure, just the info. We bought the stain resistant high performance fabric couch set called Belvoir.

The product was delivered yesterday 4/10/24 and it turned out that the spring box is too tall for the actual bedframe. We went back to the store today first thing in the morning to discuss the issue and ask for help. 1. Customer Service at your store was terrible, no one seemed to care about our issue. Even though we tried to escalate the problem, the only answer we received was "Sorry, nothing we can do about it" 2. Poor Policies: we are not asking for a refund, we were only asking for a solution and the answer we received is "you have to buy another one" 3.The sales person never showed us the box spring or even allowed us to choose one. We trusted what she provided. We trusted your company and your product to be high quality for what we paid. It is very sad and dissapointing to receive no support from your product or store.

I’m in process of filing a law suit against Ashley , the store manager, and salesman because they think they can’t give us a dirty user coach when I paid for new one. I accepted at time of delivery with their word they would handle it. This is our new home and family and they have tainted our start with screwing us with this fraud. Please do not buy anything from them. They are scammers and liars and will get you too. See you in court.

Buyer Beware! We could not decide between two living room sets. We were lead to believe that we could "check out" the furniture in our home and potentially exchange it for the other within 72 hours of delivery. In fact the 72 hour period ONLY covers replacing damaged furniture. The policy on paper is No returns or exchanges for any reason. Had we known our decision was final, we would have kept the delivery people longer but they appeared anxious to move on to the next delivery and we thought we had time. Our advice: Shop elsewhere. But if you shop at Ashley's be weary of slick salesmen and impatient delivery men.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE quality and even worse customer service. Bed broke within a year. Bought an extended warranty which they tell me they no longer use so it’s out of their hands. I call Ashley furniture customer service and they don’t understand anything you are saying because they barely speak English. They have a random persons address on my account and I keep telling them that’s not my address and they say they can’t help me since I can’t verify the address. What a joke of a company. I’ve bought over $10k worth of stuff here and none of it is lasting. Better off going to Rooms to go and actually getting quality furniture.

Joe did an amazing job! However, their delivery has been awful. They rescheduled our delivery that was supposed to be on the 29th to the 3rd. I told them I had work and I couldn’t be home before 4pm.
