Great wood furtniture ideas
We were at the Dale Mabry store in Tampa today. We walked into the store and proceeded to look around for a new bed. Not one Representative even said Hi to us. This shows a complete lack of customer service train. Big loss for Ashley furniture.

Extremely disappointed after purchasing a sofa bed I was very unhappy once it was in my apartment , I called a day later to the store to see if I can exchange it. I didn’t want my money back I just wanted something different. No one would even hear me out all they said is that the policy wow $600+ and I can’t even get a manager on the phone cause she to busy. Stay away for store like this. It’s crazy that you can return a car easier than you can exchange a sofa bed.
More than impressed with everything here!! Sam and Humberto worked with us to get us a deal better than we even thought possible! They weren't pushy or overwhelming but the second we found what we wanted they were right there making it work perfect. I will be back here for any furniture purchases!
My son's new bed was delivered two weeks ago, without the metal slats. Despite several phone calls to both the local Tampa store and corporate, no one can tell us when, or even if, the slats will ever arrive. To correct this tiny issue that makes the bed completely unusable, I've now crafted my own slats using 1x4 framing lumber and bolts from Home Depot. I wish I could upload pictures of the project, because I'm pretty proud of myself and it's very functional. Anyway, my recommendation is not to purchase anything from Ashley HomeStore. But if you do, remember that they have great customer service at Home Depot to help you.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with 2 sales personnel Parvaneh, Brett Caltagirone, and Herman from Acceptance Now. If I were a millionaire I would come in everyday and buy something as long as I could deal with the same 3 individual's. We all had a lot of fun and laughed through 80% of the entire transaction. They were very professional but I gave them the impression that we could have fun while going through the requirements they had to meet. During Herman's part we ran into a snag because of something that came up with I assume it's like your sister company Rent A Center that said I had an open account with them. That brought everything to a halt and I advised them I would find out what the problem was and fix it. The next day I fixed it as it was an error on Rent A Center. Just about everytime you purchase any item it's all according to both you and the people you interact with as to the outcome of the process you go through. We all had a blast the sales personnel did the absolute best on getting me to the price I could handle and with my bad credit Herman worked wonders and got me approved for a lot more than I expected. If you have any positive type of personality you can bring out the natural smile that Herman has and he does wear it well. I will be back to purchase a matress in the next 2 months and I will make sure I deal with the same personnel, and that's not referring there is something wrong with the other people on staff I just liked the way the sale went with them. I'm 77 years young and have been a Marine, a Policeman, and in sales for 30 some years and if you combine the 3 of them then I know when I walk in a establishment how I want to be treated and they earned Ashley Furniture 5 Stars hands down. I've had a lot of people work for me during my working years and I know as well as you know to get 3 good people like you've got it takes between a 125 to 150 to get those 3. From this date on if your store Carries the product I'm looking for I will purchase it from you because I know I'll be treated good and will get the best price you can give me. I was going to apologize for being long winded but it took being long winded to give these 3 employees the credit they have earned and deserve. Thank You Dale W Whitney
We just bought a new couch and loveseat from here and had easily the worst customer service experience we’ve ever encountered. I feel like a “Karen” even posting a review like this but it was absolutely mind-boggling the poor level of service we received. We bought in store, and the help there was all great. It wasn’t until we confirmed our order and setup a delivery that this fiasco of a customer service ordeal started. We live in a strict HOA neighborhood, and moving trucks and furniture deliveries are only allowed M-F from 7:00-5:00 with a strict turn away policy if they show up outside of that. Ashley said our delivery would be a 4 hour window between 3-7 pm. We called several times, and after being on hold for 15+ min each time, we finally got a hold of somebody and told them this time would not work, and asked if we could get a window earlier in the day. We were told no, so we told them to push the delivery date the following week for a time that suits our window. The rep said we would receive confirmation of the exact time the next week and we would receive confirmation. Fast forward to this week and we never receive confirmation. Note, we did receive a text and email confirming the window of the first delivery, but NEVER received anything for the 2nd. So we call the number that was attached on our order confirmation originally, and an automated message says our window would be 10 am - 2 pm today. Sweet, works for us. Today comes and no delivery was made, so we call again and wait 10+ min to speak to an actual human and they say that they’ve been trying to get in touch with us to confirm the new delivery and never could, so they cancel the delivery and moved it until next week. WE NEVER received a text or email the second time. Nothing in our inbox, no missed calls, and no texts, but Ashley gives the “WeLl OuR CoMpUtEr SaYs wE mESageD YoU” and denies any fault of their own. At this point we NEED our furniture. And we are sick of dealing with the absolute abysmal service we’ve received. So we are cancelling the order entirely, getting our deposit back, and will look elsewhere to find a furniture store that can actually make a delivery setup. Incredibly ridiculous I’m even having to type this review here. Won’t be shopping here anymore and will be sure to let all my friends and family know our experience.
