Waited over a week for delivery of my daughter’s mattress adjustable base and pillow. Order was almost 5k. Delivery drivers show up with the wrong size mattress. Now we have to wait and no idea when another will be delivered. Meanwhile her old mattress is now gone leaving her to sleep on a couch. Ashley I will not order from you ever again!what a terrible experience

I went to this Ashley Furniture location with the intention of buying furniture and had a very disappointing experience. I called ahead and spoke to a salesperson named Seven (or something similar) and asked for his name specifically. When I arrived at the store and spoke to him, I let him know I needed to use the restroom. When I came back out, he had taken on another family and never came back to help me. I then started working with Meghan. At first, she was very kind and attentive, but the moment the sale was completed, her entire attitude changed. I repeatedly asked her to show me something similar to an item I wanted to purchase in the future so I could visualize how it would fit in my space at home. She kept avoiding the request and her only response was, “We don’t have that item in store,” even though I clearly asked to see something similar. On top of that, I later realized she made mistakes with my purchase. I asked for a specific financing timeframe, which she told me was possible. After I left the store and called back, I was told by another employee that it was not possible and that I would have to come back the next day to fix it. I live far from this location, so this was extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, I contacted another Ashley location and spoke with a different representative who informed me that there was an active promotion Meghan could have applied—free delivery—which she never mentioned or offered. She also charged me $4 in cash when there was another promotion that could have saved me 5% on my purchase. She made absolutely no effort to help me or look out for my best interest. After reflecting on the experience and learning what could have been done, it became very clear that Meghan was only concerned with hitting her quota and making her numbers look good—not customer service. I felt like nothing more than a dollar sign. What ultimately saved this experience was Brittney Jackson. She was amazing—transparent, patient, and genuinely helpful. She took the time to fix issues that should have never happened and made me feel valued as a customer. She is the main reason I didn’t cancel my purchase and go to IKEA. I also want to note that Brandon, the store manager, was very nice and professional. Without Brittney’s help, this location would have completely lost my business. I left a good review at first, but after realizing how many things were mishandled, I updated it to reflect the truth.

Our sales advisor Reid was absolutely amazing! He was so friendly, and made our shopping experience fun. We were looking for a sectional, and he was so helpful. He even moved pieces around for us, removed pieces, etc, so that we could really see how it would look put together in our home. He went above and beyond with his customer service. The store itself was clean, and organized. We are excited for our new sectional, and look forward to purchasing more items from Ashley.

Terrible experience. My furniture came missing pieces and now 2 months later I still didn’t get the missing pieces. Now they are saying it will be delivered in March. That’s insane and we are beyond frustrated. After I did this purchase some friends told me that they also had bad experience. The delivery team is A+ amazing!!! That was the only 5-star experience of my Ashley furniture purchase. The sales associate falsely promised a delivery within 35-days which turned into 83- days of waiting for a full delivery of my order. The automated system exhibited faulty behavior ignoring autogenerated prompts for assistance. The customer service team on the phone was always polite but slow to action and left me on hold over multiple occasions during the 83-day delivery period that accounted for nearly 40 minutes of dead air. The lack of clear communication, consistent communication, and timely documented communication resulted in my tardiness to work. Our family cancelled not one, but two family vacations between thanksgiving and Christmas to make our schedules available for the $1k+ furniture purchase delivery because we were getting anxious and desperate for our spent funds to produce a final resolution of living room furniture. After all, no one wants to sit on the floor to watch football games for 11 weeks straight. I have no desire to purchase anything through Ashley ever again. Please give the delivery team headed by Ernesto a big 5-star rating and bonus for their performance and over quality of customer service and satisfaction!!

The salesperson was awesome, very professional, no problem. I mentioned that I had to return some items because my apartment was too small and I had purchased through a catalog. I didn't realize how big everything was, and I was informed of the no-return policy. This is very upsetting. I think your salespeople should tell you upfront what to expect if something doesn't fit. If I had known that they weren't going to take it back, I would not have let the driver leave, because now I have all this furniture in my apartment and I don't know what to do with it. It's not fair; my joyful experience turned out to be a nightmare.

Avoid this company at all cost. Apparently all sales are final here. Spend $8k on some new furniture for it to be falling apart 3 weeks after delivery. Mattress warranties are not honored here even when you spend extra on the proper mattress protector and box springs to keep warranty in tact. Every single sales person, customer service rep, technician, manager, delivery drivers & warehouse staff; they all lie to you giving you false information for you to be told something different at your next interaction. Anything to pacify you in the moment so they can continue to waste your time and money. Honestly this company needs a new CEO to fix the headache of a company you’re running here. I’ll find better quality furniture and service elsewhere in future, Ashley who?!?

Ashley always has great furniture. I was looking for a love seat and saw one online. I was able to see it in the store and purchased it. The sales associate was very gracious. It was his first sale and he did a good job. I highly recommend Ashley for any furniture that you are looking for.

Couch delivery on November 25th. The delivery team lifted the couch on its end and tipped it up - right through the drywall ceiling. Cracked it in 3 places. The delivery crew put me on the line with customer service who insisted that my repairs would be reimbursed. I gathered the quotes and sent them to Ashley- who passes them onto a 3rd party claims company. This company has no contact phone # - just communicates sporadically through e-mails. Total repair cost $1,130. This claims company offered me $200 through an e-mail. I rejected it and requested 100% reimbursement and now I cannot get a hold of them. Today is Dec 17th. Still no reimbursement. I contacted my salesperson at the Dale Mabry location next to Tampa Stadium. No help at all. Ashley Furniture hires the cheapest movers possible and does not take any responsibility for delivery damages.

Came in looking for a nice affordable chest of drawers and found one. S’ven was our sales representative and was attentive and cordial. Will definitely be back when looking for a new item.

The worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with! I ordered furniture 11/16 and all of my receipts said delivery would be 11/26. I took the day off and had plans to have guests for Thanksgiving. The date was changed to 12/1 and NO ONE even called to let me know. I only found out when checking the automated system 11/25 wondering why I hadn’t received a delivery time. I text my sales person who said I would be compensated, but also gave me the number to customer service. I called customer service nearly two weeks ago and still no return call from the supervisor. I called the store requesting to escalate this and instead of the manager calling back, as I was told, the sales person text me to say it had been escalated, yet still nothing from no one. I missed work and had to cancel Thanksgiving in my home and was told I would be compensated for all of this, but nothing. Terrible company.

She was patient, attentive, and kind at all times. I wish I could find people like her everywhere I go. I recommend that future customers pay for the assembly service. Ashley is definitely my favorite store, and I recommend it 100%.

I will never purchase furniture from this store again. They fail to deliver what they promise. I placed a $6,000 order for a couch, 2 lamps, a rug, an entertainment center and two end tables. The delivery was confirmed and then cancelled. Nobody contacted me and I had the freight elevator in my building reserved. They then changed the delivery date to a date that I am not available without asking me. Customer service barely speaks English and you can’t call the store. This is the worst furniture buying experience I have ever had. Steer clear of them!

If you’re looking for furniture stay far away from here. Everyone is so nice to you when it comes to buying but the process afterwards is trash. Not one follow up call from my salesman to see how things went, and when delivery comes by far the worst experience I ever had to deal with! I had a white glove delivery and had to argue with the drivers about it. They failed to set up my chairs, clean up behind them and left things belonging to the damage items I refused. Now been back and fourth with customer service reps and they tell me one thing while the delivery says another. Horrible communication between them two. I am about to report this as fraud and false advertising from their contracts about how they handle white glove delivery. The mess I had to endure I wouldn’t want anyone buying new furniture to experience. Below I will share the mess they left behind, how my furniture came again after refusing it the second time, and the chairs I had to put together myself. Please check out another furniture place before shopping Ashely’s. I hope to save you from the headaches.

I went in with the only goal of getting information for the Ashley Distribution Center. I was denied at every step by Wes, an apparent Manager (in Training I assume) who refused to give me any assistance until I stated I would take his picture and share that he refused to help me. He said he would give me the information if I didn't leave a review or post his picture. I didn't leave with the information I needed and asked for numerous times. Wes needs much more training.

Section of couch is damaged with a small tear in the fabric and has black grease stain. This is the second time this has occurred. We purchased the same style couch for a different property and it had the same grease stains as this one. Two different locations in two different states, same problem.

And....bought a desk that was on clearance. Main draw already has a broken bracket (within 45 days). Calling customer service and/or the store itself is a waste of time.

If I could give zero stars I would. I made over $4000 in purchases in store and online. I bought a dresser with mirror and adjustable base in store paid $200 for delivery. I texted my sales associate Diana Brito who gave me her personal number she told me she would look into this for me and then radio silence. It’s been over one month the dresser has not been delivered I called customer service to be told after over one month of waiting the dresser has been discontinued. I purchased a wooden coffee table from Ashley HomeStore in March 2023 and recently discovered that it has an active insect infestation. The table is releasing orange dust (frass) and I’ve seen small black insects coming out of it. I reported this to Ashley with photos and detailed information, but they refused to take responsibility because the 1-year warranty had expired — even though this is clearly a manufacturing or storage issue, not normal wear and tear. It’s very disappointing that such a big furniture brand would ignore a serious quality and health issue like this. I expected better service and accountability. Be cautious when buying solid wood furniture from them — and inspect it carefully.

DO NOT SHOP OR BUY AT THIS STORE! Will NEVER again. My daughter’s order delivery has been delayed over a month, they keep slipping day of delivery AFTER she’s taken the day off to be there for the delivery! On June 30, I placed an order for a couch, bed frame, dresser, and other items. Delivery for the couch and bed frame was set for July 12. Surprise only the couch showed up. The bed frame finally arrived on July 19, and it was pure garbage. Flimsy, cheap material that falls apart if you so much as breathe on it. The side rails detach from the footboard just by touching the headboard. Within an hour of delivery, I was in your store requesting a refund or store credit and arranging for the junk to be picked up. Instead of resolving it, Ashley Furniture dragged this out. On July 26, they claimed “try replacing the defective parts” before giving store credit. Fine you tried, and guess what? It was still defective. I declined the replacement, as instructed. Then on August 2, instead of picking up the original bed frame like you promised, your delivery team showed up with another replacement I never asked for. I had already told your representative I wanted this removed from my home and a store credit issued. Now I’m being told pickup needs to be rescheduled again while the crew sits downstairs “waiting on management approval.” This has been an absolute circus. I have now lost every Saturday in July and two in August stuck in a pointless three-hour delivery window instead of spending time with my family. All because Ashley Furniture can’t deliver what they sell, can’t fix what’s broken, and can’t follow through on their own promises. Here’s what’s going to happen next: I am no longer settling for store credit. I am demanding a full refund immediately. Your products are cheap, your service is incompetent, and I have zero trust in anything you sell. Make this right I will take this public with every detail of how Ashley Furniture treats paying customers. Do not buy the product. Hell if I could return the couch I would because it is not comfortable and my dog won’t even lay on it. That’s how aweful it is. And it cost me $2k.

We went to the Dale Mabry Store in Tampa. Our Trusted advisors was Aryana W. She was extremely knowledgeable with the line of Mattress she was showing us. Very polite and she was extremely helpful in helping us choose the right mattress and base to offer us exactly what we were looking for. She walked away from us to give us privacy and gave us time to talk about what we were about to purchase. We did end up purchasing from her. We would recommended that is you go to Ashley Furniture in Tampa on Dale Mabry you ask for Aryana W. You will be just as happy as we are with the customer service and the mattress.

I ordered a dining table from this store and ended up receiving the wrong item not once, but twice. After the second failed delivery, I requested a full refund, which I think is completely fair given their repeated mistakes. Unfortunately, the situation only got worse from there. 6 month update: We still have a broken headboard and extra charge on our account for a replacement mattress. Customer service has stopped responding. They seem to not understand that if you issue a credit for a certain amount, allow the customer to use the credit, and then force a charge it cancels out the credit. We are just asking for the forced charge to be removed to honor the credit given. We purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture shortly after Hurricane Milton, hoping to start fresh. What we got instead was a nightmare. The first red flag: they changed the delivery date after we paid—despite us explaining how important the original date was due to being removed from temporary housing. Then came the product issues: Within 2 months, the bed frame was defective. It didn’t fit the mattress, which bowed and was damaged as a result. In under 3 months, the sofa broke, and now the cushions are loose and the fabric is stretching. Stay away from buying a headboard with a light kit. It will be dead in 6 months leading to another call to Ashley for a repair. On top of all this, we were assured the replacement mattress would be free, only to be charged for it later. We’ve now had to dispute this twice, and both times were told it was an error and the charge would be removed—only for the charge to show up again after 60 days with claims that we “agreed to the terms.” How does someone agree to be charged twice for a product? Now the lights on our headboard are not working and they would like to replace the whole headboard because they don’t have the piece needed to fix the problem. Really, this company wants to play the same scam again? If this is how Ashley Furniture treats customers—especially those recovering from a hurricane—I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. The products are poor quality, and the customer service is even worse.

This company will never receive my business again. 2 years ago, me and my husband bought a very nice couch on the more expensive side. We were persuaded to also buy the warranty in case something happened to the couch. When the couch arrived to my house, the delivery guys were making inappropriate comments, trying to flirt with me and making me uncomfortable. I let it go, because I thought at least I was getting a good piece of furniture. Well, 2 years later, we discovered that the seam was ripping and the frame was broken, not to mention that tons of feathers are coming off and the seats look like they are deflating. The warranty is not wanting to exchange the couch because according to them, this is reparable. I could have bought this same couch for a lower price at a different place. I went with Ashley’s because I though the experience and quality would be better, but I was wrong. Lesson learned. Never again.

This store is a complete scam. Kenneth at the Tampa Ashley Furniture straight up lied to our faces just to close a sale. We were told all the furniture we bought, including a couch, was in the Bradenton warehouse and would be delivered this weekend without issue. We spent $1800 that day, including delivery and assembly fees, based on that promise. Now we get an email saying three out of four items are on back order. No warning. No update. Nothing. Just a fake sales pitch to take our money. Typical slimy sales guy energy. He knew the stuff wasn’t available and still sold it like it was ready to go. It’s manipulative and absolutely unacceptable. Now we’re being told the furniture might be in the warehouse by the 30th and delivered July 1st. But based on this experience, we have zero faith in that timeline either. It’s lie after lie. You should be ashamed as a company for how you treat customers. We want the delivery and assembly fees refunded immediately. If we have to wait around for delayed items that were supposedly “guaranteed,” you don’t get to charge us for services that haven’t even happened yet. You don’t get to act like it’s business as usual while we sit around wondering when the $1800 worth of furniture we paid for will actually show up. We’ll never buy from Ashley again and we’ll tell everyone we know to stay far away from this place. Total scam. Fix this.

I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment with a recent purchase and delivery experience. On Sunday, June 1st, I visited your store and purchased a pull-out sofa bed, a large chair, and an outdoor umbrella. The sales associate was excellent—knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. I opted for premium delivery service, paying extra to ensure care and professionalism, especially because the sofa’s size and room fit were a concern. When the items were delivered on Tuesday, the delivery team barely brought the furniture inside, were uncooperative, and argued with me regarding the delivery fee. The most critical issue—the sofa not fitting down the hallway—was entirely dismissed. I was explicitly told at the time of purchase that if it didn’t fit, I could refuse delivery and the item would be returned. That assurance was the only reason I felt comfortable proceeding with the purchase. Not only did the team make no effort to explore options or even assess the fit properly, but I’ve now made 7–8 phone calls over more than a week, only to be told that I’m stuck with the couch and will receive only a partial credit for delivery. This experience is unacceptable. You’ve taken a good sales interaction and completely reversed the customer experience by making me feel misled, ignored, and disrespected. I trusted your team and your delivery policy—and that trust was broken. At this point, I no longer wish to be a customer of Ashley Furniture.

We bought a top of the line bed set. Was told it was their "best". We've had nothing but problems with the furniture and Ashley since. At first, many of the drawers weren't working properly. We had a service technician come out and he fixed them. He also fixed some dents from the first delivery people. He was very skilled and respectful. That is the only reason this review is not a 1 star. Then we later discovered that a corner of a dresser was all crumbled and broken. Ashley decided to completely replace the dresser. Sounded nice in theory. I got notified a day prior to the delivery with a 4hr delivery window. My wife and I arranged our day's plans around this. Then they showed up over an hour early, right when I was supposed to leave for a doctor's appt. I had to no show to the appt bc of the furniture delivery. On the phone call afterwards with Ashley asking how the delivery went, the lady said "well you could've told them to come back later". 1. I was not ever made aware of this, and even if so.. 2. They rang my doorbell with the new dresser already wheeled up to my front door. I do believe they are trying to make things right, but they're doing it very sloppily. It's just been nothing but a headache of an experience that we did not expect from buying the "top of the line".

My complaint is with the customer service department after a sale is made. A broken piece of furniture was delivered to me. I immediately called and a replacement piece was promptly delivered and a technician scheduled to install it. I called on installation day to ask what time frame I could expect the technician and was told no one was scheduled to come that day. I had an email confirmation that said otherwise. Customer service then said, "the technician's truck is broken" and they will have to come another day instead. Really? That is not likely, just trying to cover up a scheduling screw-up. Ashley Furniture should have made it right and sent someone on the day promised. Instead, I have to be inconvenienced. Unacceptable!

Just left this Ashley Store. Was in there 45 mins Not one person that worked there said Hello or asked to help us. Never seen this before in my life 10K to spend guess I will take my money elsewhere.

We purchased sofa, loveseat, ottoman. We had amazing service from Chandler! It’s nice that they give you four decorative pillows, but wasteful because they don’t allow you to choose them. I’ll be giving ours away; they don’t fit into the color scheme of our home, Our delivery arrived an hour outside the 4 hour window. Our ottoman is wobbly but all the other furniture seems good.

We bought furniture from Ashley last year and were returning customers. Last year we had an amazing Sales Associate with a unique name. He gives you a little tag line so you will not forget him and it works. He said his name was S’ven just remember Seven and drop the “e”. When we entered the store last time he greeted us and was helpful in getting what we needed. We asked for him again this year and he helped us again. I also got the feeling that all the Associates worked as a team which is a nice feeling these days. We knew what we wanted and we had seen it online, the inline price was cheaper and S’ven was able to match the price. I will say that the furniture at Ashley is very good quality, made to last. I highly recommend the store and the associate - S’ven.

After visiting 6 furniture stores last weekend in the Tampa area, my wife and I arrived at Ashley approximately one hour prior to them closing for the day. There was no obnoxious club music, no rush to push us out the door. People dressed and spoke professionally. The music was serene and allowed for conversation at an appropriate level. Our salesman, Mr. Oswald B (aka Ozzy), asked us what we liked and what we didn't like. There was no pressure, only focus on what we needed and what was possible according to our tastes, living space, and budget. There were no sales gimmicks. No attempts to convince us to purchase something that was either unappealing or has a special price for "today only". Mr. Oswald and his supervisory team offered us the solutions we needed at a very reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that every piece the was used to create our custom furniture was created in the USA. No worries about needing any replacement items in the future due to any problems with a factory overseas. The 5 year warranty exceeded my car's warranty; wow! Posting this in hopes it helps someone in the future because clearly a bad customer experience means nothing to this company. The store & customer care will give you conflicting information and not stand by their own policies. We purchased some items and the delivery driver told us we had 72 hours to return if an item was defective or damaged. Later that day we found out that the phone charger connected to our end table did not work. We called and attempted to return the item but customer care told us to call the store. We called the store and they said they could send a technician out to fix it but that would all go through customer care and items from the store were final sale. I called customer care again and they said I could not return an item that was purchased in store even if it was defective, only online orders can be returned if defective. I explained to him that it specifically said on my receipt that "defective items could be repaired, replaced or picked up as long as a case was created within three business days." He asked me to send a photo of the receipt and finally agreed to process the return. I don't know why such a large company wouldn't just stand by what is in writing on their own receipts. Nothing on the receipt said that this policy only applied to online orders. Keep your receipt and don't budge if they refuse to honor their policies.

DEFECTIVE Recliners! OMG!! STILL WAITING ON 2ND REPLACEMENT !!!!!!!!!!! MAY 3 President's sale bought 2 motorized recliners. A week later, I started to have a problem with one recliner, and then a few days, the second one was broken as well. Finally, they replaced both .. great! Day of delivery one chair I showed delivery person was broken in 2 places. He took pictures and then left. I called and got a case number. Now I am waiting for further contact.

We bought $1700 worth of furniture there and once it busted they told us we were out of luck because they only believe their stuff is good for one year and the protection plan is serviced by another company who cancelled it but claimed we had cancelled it.

Was greeted upon entry, but not in an overbearing, car salesman like manner. Sven helped write up our order however there was an IT issue and the transaction could not be completed. Sven advised us he could send us a link once they had resolved the issue. Sven kept me updated on the progress and followed up the next day so I could complete my purchase. He was knowledgeable and professional. The store had a great selection for every room and style.

I had an amazing experience today at the Ashley Store in Tampa. I walked into the store with a general idea of what I was looking for and was greeted by an advisor by the name of Oswald. He was able to navigate me through their options and able to direct me to each piece of furniture, when asked. Oswald made my experience a positive one, as I was able to walk into the store, able to navigate to each pieces of furniture I expressed an interest in, and check out fairly quickly. I will definitely be back.

Joe H was amazing, unfortunately the customer service I received after my purchase was beyond horrible. I canceled my order due to a delay in delivery, had paid with my bank debit card and had to fight tooth and nail to get my refund. It took 3 months and 2 bank letters to get it done. I was told at one point that I wasn’t eligible for a refund, even though I never received the furniture. I called at least 15 times over the 3 month period to get my refund of over $3k. Unfortunately, at the same time I canceled my first order, I made a new order online for furniture that was going to be delivered more quickly. It was delivered on time, but delivered damaged. It took 3 months and multiple phone calls to get that rectified as well. Totally not worth the hassle- stay clear of Ashley furniture and save yourself a total nightmare.

I purchased four bar stools for nearly $900 and made it crystal clear to the sales associate, Aryana Wright, that I would only proceed with the purchase if I could receive them by Saturday, as I was leaving for an overseas military deployment on Sunday. She assured me that if I chose Direct Delivery via UPS, I would get them even sooner than the promised Friday delivery. Now, I’m being told the delivery won’t happen until after March 4th—well past my departure date. To make matters worse, Ashley Furniture refuses to cancel my order, citing a ridiculous policy that an item cannot be returned until it is delivered and physically brought back to the store. The items haven’t even left the warehouse, yet they refuse to help in any way. I explained my situation multiple times, emphasizing that I would not be home for months due to military service, and they still refused to make any accommodations. When I asked for a manager, I was bluntly told, “They’ll just tell you the same thing.” This is how Ashley Furniture treats their customers—especially service members? Absolutely unacceptable. I will never shop here again, and I highly recommend others avoid this company unless you enjoy being misled, ignored, and stuck with an order you can’t even receive.

Worst Experience Ever – Save Yourself the Hassle and Shop Elsewhere! I purchased a new coffee table from Ashley Furniture, and I can honestly say this has been THE WORST customer service experience I have ever encountered. I picked up the table from their warehouse on January 31st around 2pm, brought it home, and as soon as I unboxed it, I noticed several black marks all over it that looked like mold. I was immediately frustrated and reached out to their warranty department. I sent in pictures and opened a claim, and they assured me they would call back within 48-72 hours. That never happened. On February 6th, I called again to request a return and refund, and that’s when the real nightmare began. Despite purchasing the item in-store, I was told to contact the warehouse for the return. I spoke with Michelle at the warehouse, who then informed me they couldn’t process a refund—only store credit. She told me I needed to reach out to the store for the refund. So now, I’m wasting hours on the phone trying to resolve a $400 coffee table issue, and still, there’s no solution in sight. The store manager even had the nerve to tell me that the black marks were part of the “design.” They then tried to blame me, saying I should have inspected the item more carefully before picking it up from the warehouse. Really? So now I’m expected to open every piece, inspect every part, and somehow put everything back in its box without it getting damaged on the way back? Unbelievable. I also tried to be reasonable and offered to deliver the table back either to the warehouse or to the store where I originally bought it from. At this point, I just wanted a simple return and refund. However, the representatives I spoke to seemed more interested in getting rid of me than actually helping. One person, either from the store or the warehouse, outright refused to provide the necessary information and instead told me that if I brought the table back to the store, they would call the police for “dumping” the item. I couldn’t believe it! This was the most absurd and rude response I’ve ever received. I’ve also attached images of the coffee table for your judgment, which, according to the store manager, is in “great quality” and is simply part of the design. If that’s the case, then I’m shocked that such a poor quality item is being sold to customers. I’ve also attached a picture of their return policy, which, as you can see, is not accurate in the least, especially when it comes to honoring returns and refunds. And let’s not forget the so-called “30-day return policy” they advertise. It’s a complete scam! When there’s an issue with the product, they do everything they can to avoid honoring it and push store credit on you instead of offering a straightforward refund. After spending 10 days trying to resolve this issue, they finally scheduled a technician to inspect the item on February 15th. But by then, I had already spent so much time on this ordeal, I had lost all faith in them. If you’re thinking about shopping at Ashley Furniture, do yourself a favor and save the hassle. The nice treatment and quality service stop the moment you swipe your card. Their customer service is a joke, and they have no respect for their customers once they’ve made the sale. I will never buy from them again and I strongly recommend that others do the same.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY HOME STORES! They are only welcoming when you want to make a purchase once done they do not care about you. I have been waiting on furniture for the 5th rescheduled dates on their end, they sent 1/3 of the furniture the rest was damaged and still not available. And because I only received a 1/3 of the furniture they have increased the price of the chairs without notice which is very un professional and un ethical. Do not waste your hard earned money here and their furniture is trash not good quality at all the table and chais are peeling and deliver scratched!! It's also been almost a week the manager still hasn't reached out. Stay far away from Ashley home stores they are trash!!

We will never buy from Ashley sore in Tampa again. The sofa was delivered with the box and sofa looking used, we refused it so they did give us a new one that is perfect. We also were told that a battery was available to power the sofa rather than running a wire across the floor. The manager at the time said to buy it and try it. We did buy it and took it home. When the sofa was delivered, we realized that a power cord would be invisible under the rug so we went to the are to return the Battery. We were told NO. WE DON'T ACCEPT ANY RETURNS. It was a $400 battery. The new manager (the guy that told us to try it had already quit) said it was against store policy to accept any returns. That is an unacceptable business practice when I was told to try the battery. Yes I finally found out that the very small print on the sales invoice said no returns so Ashly could blame me .. nevertheless I will tell everyone I know to shop elsewhere. I still have the battery unused in the box.

I had a really smooth mattress buying experience. The store manager helping me was very knowledgeable. He balanced being helpful/available, and giving me my own time to shop without someone hovering. I am limited to weekend delivery because of work and their latest delivery time. I expected a large delivery window, but asked for an AM delivery the day I was moving. They said they'd request, but when I got my delivery spot the day before, it was PM. Too late to change my movers. I called. They could not change the time because the truck was loaded, but would reschedule me for the following week. I had a 1:30 PM appointment the following Saturday and they said they'd request AM for me (and apologized my AM request was not passed along the week before). I received my window today and it is 11-3. It is too late to change my 1:30 PM appointment, so rather than reschedule, I cancelled and will look elsewhere. I need to either have some control over the time (like the half of the day), or know sooner to plan around delivery. Update 2: The Ashley's leadership authorized giving me the loveseat for free. However, the soonest they could deliver was 5 days later. As of 18 Dec 2024, the loveseat arrived with punctures in the fabric and multiple dark lines stains on a seat cushion corner. The ottoman was stained with an orange stripe. Both of these pieces arrived in original packaging. The server arrived with a chip in its top. One of the dining chairs was wobbly. The sofa and chair & a half arrived without original packaging and were stained. I sent everything back. Ashley's has nothing in inventory covering the living room set until January. So, we were offered to cancel the order and move on. The store owner asked me to email the Solutions department around the time of the first attempted delivery. I never got a response. I did not attempt again because I trusted a solution had been found. Another important note, white wood furniture prebuilt at the warehouse and then wrapped in old, stained furniture pads until delivery seems counterintuitive to me...not what I would have expected from Ashley's. All my previous furniture was given to Salvation Army the day of the first attempted delivery. So, we are going to have to cancel my older brother's family's visit next week. I'm no longer able to be hospitable until we find new furniture that is in inventory. Update: Ashley's Sales Manager provided me with his personal cellphone number and has answered my phone call and called to provide an update. He showed my fiancée evidence that he, his General Manager, his Regional Manager, and his VP of Sales have been actively and regularly working with the warehouse and accounting to clear my previous delivery in the system to allow scheduling my delivery as soon as possible. He assures me they authorized giving me the maximum discount possible. He has assured me they will have Ashley's personnel in an Ashley's truck deliver the furniture. The driver/foreman was moving my loveseat via hand truck by himself with no one checking in front of him. He was pushing the loveseat through my row of bushes, answered his phone, was discussing an upcoming lawsuit, and bumped the sofa into my door frame stucco to help him know when to stop, backup, and stand-up the loveseat. The white cushions were soiled in at least three places with 3 smudges, possibly from dirty hands. At least one of the chairs was wobbly. The dining table top was delivered wrapped in furniture pads, as if it wasn't new. The foreman was not responsive to feedback without repeated statements and finally raising my voice. I sent all of the furniture back and asked for new furniture and new drivers in an Ashley's truck. The Sales Manager nor the General Manager were prompt in scheduling the next delivery nor calling. The next day I waited until 1pm to hear from them. Because they knew I gave my furniture to Salvation Army and hadn't called, I canceled the order. No door frame protection, no floor protection, just a quick let me get this done.

Instore service was good. Addressal of queries 'post purchase pre delivery' was handled professionally. Delivery was on time but the furniture showed transport and handling damages... not what one prefers for expensive new furniture. It arrived with several nicks and covered with dust.

I bought two recliners from ashley for over $3k and the motor burned out in one of the chairs. I did not buy any extended warranty and asked the staff at the store how I can get it fixed and was told because I did not buy the warranty they could not help me. When I said I would be will to pay for there service repairman for the chair I was told that is only for people that bought the warranty. I then asked if they could recommend anyone to repair the chair and they said there was no one to recommend. I looked online and got the chair repaired on my own. Word of advice...go to rooms to go or kanes...they seem to care about their customers enough to get future business.

I have bought over $10k dollars' worth of furniture from here. Last night I bought furniture again as I am moving into my first house soon. But this time was a different experience. Ozzy, greeted us and helped us for two days with ideas and colors for our couches and dining room table. He is not pushy at all, and he took his time working with us. You can tell he loves what he does, and he is really good at it too! Not sure if management will see this but Ozzy really needs to be recognized for his hard work and dedication to this company. Thank you, Ozzy, for helping us and being so patient and understanding. When it is time to buy more furniture, I will ONLY use Ozzy!

Dining set was fine. After a couple months, It was damaged by flooding, but the protection plan would not cover the replacement. At the time of purchase, the plan was advertised as hassle free replacement for any reason. Should have read closer I guess, but why lie about hassle free replacement.

Great experience ordering from Daniel. I needed to order some furniture for my mother, but the AC went out in my car so I was trying to avoid coming into the store. EDIT : Do not be fouled by the customer relations team responding to reviews . They are just as incompetent as the rest of this organization. I reached out via email per the below response. They offered me a discount that I found fair and accepted. It’s been over 2 weeks now and the refund was never processed. I’ve reached back out to them via email three times and got no response. I called customer service and they had no idea if the refund was actually processed or not and they have to reach out to another team that might be able to figure it out which can take 1-2 business days. I am stuck in this limbo of constantly having to follow up with them and chase after them . Completely predatory and unethical to offer a discount and never process it. Honestly just a mess , it’s not even worth it. I came into the store knowing exactly what I wanted. I went up to the sales associate and was ready to order the coffee table a quick simple purchase . He looked bothered to be there even though he literally didn’t do anything. He ordered the table he told me the date of pickup and I asked him THREE TIMES can I just show up on this date or will I get an email of availability or delay and he responded each time just show up. I show up on the day of pickup after driving 45 minutes to be told the orders not off the truck and I need to come back on Tuesday. Tuesday I call this time to make sure , she tells me that now it’s somehow back ordered. After going back and forth for 30 minutes asking how it’s back ordered when it was on the truck the other day she finally finds it. I show up to the warehouse to pick it up and the guy brings it to my car. I told him the sales associate told me to have you show it to me in case theirs damage. He proceeds to refuse to open it because theirs to much packaging. At this point I’m so over it all I take it home. Upon taking it home I find discoloration and a huge spot of idk what right on the marble. It’s not even worth bringing back and dealing with them

Communication! I have been waiting for delivery of furniture and a mattress only to find out that only part of the order will be delivered. The mattress and dresser will be delivered almost 2 1/2 weeks later. My son now needs to sleep on an air mattress. Extremely frustrating!!!

Coffee table looks nice and had only 2 steps to assemble. Unfortunately, the sockets must be incorrect on half of the legs because the screws would not go in or not go beyond half way. The the table holds together but is not as sturdy as it should be. I tried twisting both ways and I even removed the leg to just try to get the screw to go into the socket but still nothing.

I purchased a dining table in store and the young lady stated it was in stock and it would be delivered on Tuesday 11/5-Now I get a call from customer service stating it is not in warehouse and wont be delivered until Friday the 8th. Very disappointed that I was lied to just to make a sale. I have a business I have to open, and now it will be void of a dining table for 4 days for my disabled children to have somewhere to eat their meals Thank you Ashley

Buying process is like buying a car. I had to give 3 electronic signatures and then two paper signatures, took over 10min to just TRY to buy $80 bar chairs. Then they weren’t available to pick up at the warehouse when I was told they would. No email or phone call that there would be a delay. It was a 40min drive to the warehouse to be turned away. Then I had a slick sales person try and get sassy with us during checkout. Just a bad experience all together.

Went to buy furniture for my son’s room and guest room. I had some specific size restrictions that I had to keep in mind and Ary was very helpful with finding the best options for me. She was very patient and I ended the shopping experience with everything I needed.

Staff was very friendly and patient. I ordered a few pieces and just before it was supposed to be delivered i was informed that one piece needed to be delivered the week after as they didn't have it in stock. The week after I was on vacation. So I asked a friend to go over once they call with the delivery. They promised to call at least 30 minutes prior delivery so my friend could rush over. They called telling me on that day that they are 8 minutes out. I told them that I would call my friend to get over there. My friend lives 15 minutes away. When they got there they called me again complaining that nobody is at the house. I told them that in less than 10 minutes someone would be there. One minute later Ashley HQ called telling me that if nobody opens the door in the next few minutes that they would leave. My friend just arrived in time when they literally pulled out. They finally carried the piece inside but never built up the furniture. After getting back from vacation I called the store several times for someone to get out to build it up. I was only told that they will talk to customer service. Never got an answer. I ended building it up myself which took me 3 hours and lots of frustration. That's why I paid them for that service.

Ordered furniture in June. Received order damaged. Took many phone calls to get someone to come out and replace it which they did in September. The furniture they replaced it with was also damaged. Was told I would receive a credit and as of October 31 at credit has not been applied to my account. Spoke with customer service numerous times, and cannot seem to get a solution to my problem. I do not advise anyone to shop at Ashley furniture.

All this store cares about is making the sale, not servicing the customer. Ordered a table Oct 1 with delivery scheduled for Oct 11. Date was changed due to hurricanes. New date was Oct 20. About week out they called and said they don't deliver on Sundays. New date was Oct 22. Got a call around the 15th and said they didn't have the product, maybe it was damaged, but no one knew why it couldn't be delivered. Got a new date of Oct 30. The week before I started receiving numerous text messages and emails asking me to confirm the delivery date. On the 29th, I received a message that the delivery window was 1145-345 on the 30th. Received a call on the 30th at 9am that they really didn't have the unit and they would deliver on Nov 11. I told them to cancel the order and refund my money. I went to the store and spoke with the manager to confirm the order was canceled. He offered to order and sell me another unit which I thought was ridiculous considering they couldn't even deliver the one I ordered. I asked the manager to sell me one of the 2 units on the floor and he refused to do so unless I bought the end tables too. I don't need end tables. He was not upset at all when I told him I guess we aren't doing business then. Lousy customer service. I will never go to an Ashley store again.

After buying 2 big sectionals and footrests, we are happy with the furniture. However the delivery men were rude and made the person receivjng the furniture uncomfortable. I filed a case complaint and have had no response or call back. They are a big disappointment and no respect for the their customers comfort with delivery people.

UPDATE: Upon confirming my delivery date and getting rid of my old furniture, Ashley proceeds to tell me DURING MY DELIVERY that my couch has been back ordered and that they would “have to call me back” to reschedule. I had to call every day for 6 days in a row because my “sale was locked” for them to finally tell me it would be delivered Dec 3rd (6 weeks after I purchased it). I told them I needed a couch before the holidays and they offered me a different couch (different style, size and color but don’t worry it was more expensive ) with $200 off and deliver on Nov 14, but they had to confirm that they could switch it since the couch was technically more expensive. The next time they tell me that it’s actually going to be delivered Nov 20th and they don’t know why the delivery date keeps changing. I tell them just to cancel it and they say that the manager is on lunch and she will call me back. Another 3 days of calling before they (Finally) tell me it’s cancelled. I would like to think they were sincerely trying but after over a week of no real answer as to why this was so difficult and taking a hit to my credit with their credit card, my patience has completely worn out. Went to Rooms to Go and got a similar couch to what I originally wanted but better quality and $400 cheaper.
