Overall our experience trying to buy a new couch was awful for something so simple. Sales tactics were completely predatory in the store. We declined the $140 protection plan multiple times but we were still charged for it. We immediately noticed it was on our itemized receipt before we even left the store. We turned around immediately. tracked down the sales associate who said that it was a "mistake" and we would be refunded that money immediately. 2 weeks go by and we still have not been refunded so my wife reaches out to the sales associate Tricia who says that she will put in a ticket to get us a refund, even though that should have been done weeks ago. Another week and a half goes by and we still have not been refunded for something we declined MULTIPLE times in store. We finally went in and asked to speak to the manager and we were refunded in a matter of minutes. Even if this was a simple mistake, it seems completely predatory considering sales associates make commission off the sales of protection plans and the fact that it was such a process to get a refund. We will not be spending money here or any affiliate stores any more.

Went into Ashley Furniture looking for wall art and found some really nice mirrored pieces in the clearance section that weren’t priced. I spoke with Kevin, a sales associate, who checked with the floor manager, Jordan. Jordan gave me an awesome deal on both pieces. Great experience and excellent customer service—thanks again, guys!

My wife ordered some sort of display cabinet thingy that’s rather large and was to be delivered already assembled. 1st delivery- Wrong piece of furniture., 2nd delivery week later- Correct skew number on paperwork, BUT wrong furniture in the box. 3rd delivery week later- Correct furniture, but not assembled. 4th delivery days later- I’ll be a son of a gun, they got ii right! I purchased my first sofa from City Furniture, which was promised to be high-quality and durable. Less than a year later, the sofa was failing. Nothing about the advertised features worked as claimed especially the fabric and two components were defective. The technician even confirmed these issues were due to defects present when sold to me. I requested a full refund, but the store refused and only offered store credit. Hoping to give them another chance, I used the credit to purchase a new Ashley sofa at the same store location. Upon delivery, out of six pieces, four arrived defective. There were two separate delivery attempts, and during the second delivery, the previous issues reported by the delivery technician were not even documented. Since then, I have already spoken to more than four different managers, spending more than 5 hours talking with them, but the issue has still not been escalated to the manager’s superior. The store has demonstrated an inability to look out for the customer, leaving me forced to keep defective furniture in my home. When visiting the store, Manager Robert refused to take responsibility, left the store without addressing the issue, and redirected me to customer service, even though the purchase was made directly at the store. This behavior is unacceptable, unprofessional, and demonstrates serious negligence in management. After two failed replacement attempts, I have made it clear that I will not accept further replacements. I am left with defective furniture in my home, no resolution, and a store that refuses to act responsibly. I am demanding a full refund immediately. The repeated failures, misleading claims about product quality, and mismanagement by Robert constitute a serious violation of consumer trust and proper business practices. Immediate action must be taken to resolve this situation and ensure that defective furniture is removed and refunded without further delay.

The bed frame broke and customer service said they would exchange the entire set because ours is now discontinued. We went to the store to select a new set only to find out that the only set that is comparable to our current and that we like the design of is $1,100 more. Ashley Furniture thinks we should pay the additional $1,100 for a set that has all of the same pieces we currently have and features. The store said to call Customer Service. I called customer service and unfortunately they were not helpful. They actually said they are not able to help us at all and deferred us back to the Wellington store. I understand and appreciate the notion to replace the bedroom set so everything is to match, however, it’s beyond frustrating that now because of this, I have to give up several pieces of furniture so I can fit within the allotted amount that Ashley will provide for us. We chose Ashley because of our experience with their quality and customer service, so I’m sure you can imagine how frustrated we are with this entire experience. The additional $1,100 on this new set is frustrating because this was not an expected cost nor one we were even considering or saving for. I shouldn’t have to lose out on furniture because of this. I also shouldn’t be sleeping on the floor due to a broken bed frame, but here we are…

Initially this was a 5 star review. However the delivery process messed it up completely. I had six chairs delivered, 3 of which were wobbly. I submitted a claim right away. I had 4 scheduled appoinents because the technician was a no-show every time. The one time I spoke to the technician directly he told me that we were inconvenienceing him on Thursdays which is my only day off. I'm actually writing this review as i'm sitting on the phone trying to find out where my technician is, which yet again is not showing up. However when we initially purchased Matthew was very helpful and patient during the whole process.

I purchased a sleeper sofa on June 1, it was delivered damaged. They arranged for it to be exchanged, and the second sofa arrived 6/21 also damaged. I asked for a refund and was told I didn’t qualify for a refund because I allowed the driver to leave the sofa in My Home. Was I supposed to check for damage on the truck? And don’t fall for the 24 hours to go over your purchase because that doesn’t qualify for a refund either. Apparently, Ashley does not have a refund policy. At least that is what I was told by the customer care manager. After receiving the second damaged sofa, I made a point to say this is not what I purchased in store, which is damaged goods. I was told I did receive what I purchased, which was a sofa sleeper. Unreal! Needless to say, I now await my third sofa. INSPECT everything before the driver leaves!! Oh.. did I mention I paid for premium delivery. I received a call prior to my delivery, telling me that my furniture was being inspected before it was being brought to my home.

When I asked him to position the couch how I want it and I was thinking of how I wanted it TJ told me he have to leave. So I just give him his $200 and let him get out of my home. The next day I had to call a cleaning company to come in and clean my couch because of how they marked it up and use their dirty hands on my couch. Our couch was clean and look so beautiful when we saw it in the store.

My family and I had a very, very bad experience at Ashely Furniture in the Wellington Mall. We went here to buy some new recliners for our living room. The sales representative, Risaira, sat us down and showed us several different chairs. Finally, she shows us a chair that we find to be very comfortable, she tells us the price is $700, writes an invoice, and we purchase the chairs. Turns out the price was actually $1,200 and she was looking at the completely wrong product when she told us the price. The wrong product was delivered to our house and we had to return it. The store manager, customer service reps, and sales reps were very rude and did nothing to make the situation better. We wasted 5 hours of our life with Ashley. We will never shop here again. UPDATE: Someone called me and tried to give me a small gift card to change/edit my review, but would not address the real issue. This company is incredibly unprofessional.

They have deceptive pricing practices. We bought a couch last Saturday evening. We got home and looked at their website. The same couch we purchased is $200 cheaper on their website. I called the store the next day to have them honor the price. They said they will not price match - even though it’s their own website. This is very deceptive. Customer service is worthless, they don’t even want to hear anything the customer says. I’ve never heard of such a practice of not price matching their own website. This cannot be legal. I will never shop at Ashley or City Furniture again and I would discourage anyone else from shopping there. The salesperson pushes all the extras and even includes it when we say we don’t want it.

Do not recommend at all. No one was helpful. I walked the entire store without anyone coming up to me. I went up to 3 people all sitting in the front. The guy didn’t look or say anything to me. I wish I could give 0 stars. We originally spent a LOT of money on 2 new powered couches, a powered chair, a coffee table and a side table. The side table was a floor model that we took home that day as it was in good shape and a great discount (50%). That experience was actually a 5 star experience but Ashley has destroyed all good-will I had for them. About two weeks after taking delivery of our new furniture we decided we needed another side table. I called up Ashley (I spoke to 2 stores) with the model number and ordered what turned out to be the last side table of that model available but they swore it was new in the warehouse. Upon delivery, the reality was quite different, see the photos attached. There is no way this wasn't a floor model they wrapped up and sold to me at full retail rate. My ask was simple, I would accept it at the floor model price - with a young child it won't stay perfect forever - but I shouldn't be paying full price for this item as delivered. Ashley refused but offered to come repair it. Fine. Well, their repair guy came today and was himself shocked at the shape the side table was in. He fixed the bigger issues but was unable to restore the side table to manufacturer specs. There are still numerous visible scratches on the side table. Ashley still won't match the floor model price on this side table. At the end of the day they are giving me a partial refund but they refuse to honor that floor model pricing. It's a shame because the additional $75 I'm asking for, as a matter of principle, that they refuse to honor, will guarantee we never spend another penny with Ashley, City, or any other affiliated furniture companies. So, if you choose to shop at Ashley or City, go in knowing how poorly you will be treated and that they will absolutely try to sell you damaged goods and smile to your face while doing it. Then offer you a small pittance in return knowing they've already lined their pockets with profits. Buyer beware.

Originally had several issues, but Tiger, the manager, listened to our concerns and made us feel like we were not just a $ sign. He is very professional and personable. Tiger really does know how to make a customer feel like their purchase is the most important purchase of the day. He definitely saved this sale! Won't be coming back to the Ashley brand. Ordered a dining set paid in full. It's been 5 months and have yet to deliver. They claim supply chain issues but it's a TABLE not a complex piece of machinery or highly sought after electronics. We're in 2022. The supply chain issues by and large are over.

I purchased a couch and a chair back in September of 2020. The one recliner was not functioning properly, I did not complain cause it was still working. In December of 2021, the other recliner broke. I have the extended warranty (3 yrs). It is now the end of May and I am still waiting for my replacements. I was told end of March. I will not purchase from Ashley or City ever again.

Just wanted to take a few minutes give a shout out to Julian Fletcher and Ashley Furniture in Wellington. I stopped by the store yesterday afternoon looking for a comfortable couch to replace one that had gotten damaged during a stressful move from New Jersey to Florida. I knew what I wanted but I was working within a budget and wasn't sure that I was going to be able to find it. I had seen something online but it looked like it was on backorder and wouldn't be available for a month or two. I asked Julian to check, however, and he looked it up for me and it WAS in stock! Turns out it was in the warehouse but not on the showroom floor but something similar was so I could get an idea about the fabric's feel and texture. Julian was knowledgeable about most items in the store and was professional, thoughtful and patient as I coordinated things with my son who was purchasing the couch on my behalf for me. He truly was the epitome of what someone in a customer service sales position should be! The icing on the cake was learning that my couch was available to be delivered today, just 24 hours later! Even though I did not purchase a mattress from Ashley Furniture, Julian was kind enough to also show me several options while I was there. The couch delivery process was smooth. As promised, I got an email last night at 8:00 p.m. telling me what my delivery window was and was updated on where the delivery truck was and got a phone call and text message when they were nearby. The gentlemen who delivered were courteous and professional. I am delighted to once again have a couch! I am pleased with the style and color that I chose and it's oh, so comfy! Thank you Ashley Furniture and Julian Fletcher for making this whole experience a pleasure!

Horrible quality. Couch completely broke less than a month after buying. Customer service did not help at all. Left with a piece of trash that was expensive.

The experience was painless, The salesman Andreas was very nice. We picked out a table went through finance and bam we were done. He explained everything we needed to know and left us with no questions. 10 out of 10. Would go back.

Had a bed frame delivered and several pieces were damaged. They wanted to give 10% discount, $200 gift card or make me wait a month and a half for replacement pieces. Should get minimum 15 - 20%. So for $100 they will be losing a customer. I spent $4,500 with them. Also, they gave me two bags of the same hardware so I was missing one. Had to spend $30 at home depot on hardware to put the bed together. Unacceptable. I will be going back to El Dorado.

Pierre helped us find the perfect living room and dining room set. Took his time with us, we never felt rushed and he took our interest into consideration. Raymond helped in the end with financing. Overall great experience.

We ordered a buffet sideboard and came incomplete and in bad condition and they do not want us give us a refund when is totally their fault. They want us to wait for more than one month to do an exchange. That is unacceptable and bad customer service! If you can't fulfill an order you should give the money back! We never will buy from them again!

Guys delivered scratched up dresser that took 5 months to be delivered. I didn’t notice the scratches until a few weeks later (I know that’s on me) but nevertheless, this is what I got.

Juan Morales at store #18 helped us and he was amazing. This handsome salesman helped us get the price we hoped for and helped us devise a plan for delivery despite our more complicated situation. He had us laughing and made the entire purchase smooth, fun, and pleasurable.

As soon as my husband and I entered City Furniture we were greeted with smiling faces. Everyone was warm and inviting. Adrianna who was my sales person was helpful and knowledgeable. The general manager was very attentive to my needs and followed up when necessary. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Shop around we found the same exact furniture delivered in a week from somewhere else,we were told it would be a month before they could deliver it ,the other place we found it will deliver it in 4 days .Goggle the furniture you like if it's in there store n I'm sure you will buy somewhere else,what really pushed us out of the store was the rudness of the manager ,salesman was awesome, the manager not so much ,it's all good we saved 300 by walking out

The service received from the store was excellent. However, when the furniture was delivered my 75 yr old mother in law asked the men if they could take my daughters lightweight bed frame down to the garage and their answer to her was it was her responsibility to clear out the room. The room was cleared out except for the frame. Needless to say they missed out on a nice tip.

I must say it took months and alot of aggrevation to get everything. Ordered a kitchen table and chairs. They kept giving me dates when it would arrive.No one answered the phones so I had to go in person quite a few times. Story ends when I canceled the order. Then I had ordered a new dinning room set. That took longer then said but finally came.Lastly I ordered a new couch.That actually came on time. After asking they even threw me a bone.Five of six promised pillows.Never got the sixth.I am not wealthy by any means. So if you buy really watch.They did give me my money back quickly for the canceled kitchen table.

I walked into the Ashley Show Room @ the Wellington Green Mall this morning knowing exactly what I wanted in a recliner that I had seen elsewhere & found on the Ashley website. As my luck would have it, they didn’t have the one I saw on the website on the floor of any of their show rooms, No, but they did have the next level up which I liked even better. It came in a very nice rich looking brown leather. The one I thought I wanted only comes in black or white so I was very happy to find an even nicer model in the exact color I really wanted to start with. The sales rep. who assisted me was great and very helpful. He was able to get me the internet price instead of the in store price and I feel I got a really good deal. My thanks & appreciation go out to Adrian Belen, Ashley sale rep.
