While visiting the Albany, GA Ashley Store, I had some very specific criteria for a small piece of furniture. Dez was an amazing partner in helping with the search, going above and beyond what might be expected of a Sales Representative! He showed me the only piece in the store that resembled what I was looking for. When it wasn't quite the right fit, he went to work looking online for other pieces that might suffice. It was obvious, through his efforts, that he had listened intently to my descriptions of the piece I was looking for and then followed through accordingly. His personality was genuine and his desire to be of service was impressive. He should be Ashley's role model for others to follow.

My husband and I recently purchased a beautiful rug, a sofa, and a kitchen table from Ashley Furniture, and we couldn’t be happier with both the quality of the furniture and the incredible service we received. From the moment we walked in, Noel Lewis went above and beyond. She was knowledgeable about every product we questioned, listened to what we were looking for, and helped us find pieces that fit perfectly with my style and budget. She never pressured us, she was honest, upfront and made the whole process enjoyable. Noel made us feel like valued customers! We would definitely work with her again on future purchases. The sofa is super comfortable, the rug is big, soft and exactly what we were looking to purchase. The kitchen table feels like it was made for our home.

**Disappointed with Late Delivery – Poor Communication** I ordered furniture from ashley and was given a specific delivery date. Unfortunately, my order was not delivered on time, and there was little to no communication from the store about the delay. While I understand delays can happen, better customer service and proactive updates would have made the situation much easier to handle. I hope ashley improves their delivery process and communication in the future to prevent similar frustrations for other customers.

Ashely carries furniture that can be found in other stores in town. But it is their helpful sales and delivery staff that makes the difference. The transaction was seamless from selecting my furniture to delivery and assembly. I felt very well taken care of.

Will NEVER shop here again. Dealt with Noel and first thing I told her was I wanted a MANUAL sectional because I didn’t want power cords running across my floor. She tells us they have batteries and all I would have to do was charge them and I would not have cords on the floor. Spent 5k on the sectional and chair and left satisfied. When the furniture is delivered there are no batteries and I would have to buy them separately. The delivery guys said I would have to buy a battery for each section and they were about $250 apiece. Noel never told us about purchasing batteries and made it sound like it was part of the stuff I purchased. I called the phone number on her card and it goes to a call center that screens their calls. They sent an email to the store manager to call me. When he called he said he would see what he could do about some batteries and would call back within the hour. He never called back. I called the call center to complain and they said they would send a message to the store manager to call me and no one ever did. If I knew I was going to have to pay another $1000 for batteries I would have kept looking for a manual sectional. The store did nothing to help and I’m stuck with a sectional I have to plug up, precisely what I didn’t want!! I was deceived to get me to buy that sectional ( which was a floor model) saying it was all inclusive when it wasn’t. I should have continued to purchase my furniture from Turners Fine Furniture and not these crooks.

Would highly recommend not buying a sectional or anything from Ashley. Or at least their GA locations. Purchased a sectional and after it only being in our home for 3 months we noticed in proper nailing of frame which we were told was covered under manufactures warranty, but then was told since we didn’t have it delivered that we would have to pay a service fee to have what is MANUFACTURER WARRANTY fixed. To make this even more frustrating we even purchased a 5 year protective plan from Guardian which is who they use for outside plans that costed in the hundreds of dollars range. When I called Guardian they informed me that it is covered under manufacturer warranty and I can’t use my plan with them. So why would I pay for a protective plan that I can’t use and then what sense does it make for me to pay for something that should be covered by the manufacturer. Sounds like to me they are more worried about making money on top of money. Instead of trying to help customers out. But anyways after a month of going back and forth with the South GA location I contacted corporate and got them involved for them to finally replace the broken chase. When they brought the new chase they left it outside and wouldn’t replace it with the other one. They would only take the old one out. I should have done the same to them and took and put the chase outside since they just want to put my replacement outside. I tried to get a refund for the couch since it is still in new condition but they will not do so. I just want to inform everyone of this so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. There is already enough evil in this world and wrong doing. It’s easier to do the right thing but money seems to blind people. I purchased this from the ALBANY location and when the issue with the furniture first came about I had to drive to Albany just to get a response. When I was there speaking to the manger he talked like something was going to be done. But then didn’t get anything accomplished. That’s why I had to get corporate involved just to get something done.

This weekend I went looking for a certain item. I’m big on being greeted when I walk in an establishment and Ms. Sandra not only greeted me but she did it with a smile! **Title:** Disappointed After Giving a Second Chance I recently went to Ashley’s Furniture in search of an oversized green chair and was greeted by Mrs. Sandra, who was very nice and helpful. We decided on a green chair and made the purchase, paying part in cash and opening a credit card to maintain our credit since we usually pay in full. I was told that the chair would be available at the Albany, GA location by Tuesday, so I took time off work and made arrangements to pick it up. When I arrived, the employee started loading the chair, only for us to discover that it was the wrong color — brown instead of green! It was frustrating to find out after all the effort I made. The staff then told me it would be October before the correct chair could arrive, so I asked for a refund and left. What’s confusing to me is that I was able to purchase the exact same chair from a different store for $165 less, and they’ll have it in by next Tuesday. I’m disappointed that Ashley’s couldn’t get their own brand in on time, but a competitor could. While I appreciate Mrs. Sandra’s professionalism, this experience has left me questioning whether I’ll ever shop at Ashley’s again. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with them, and sadly, it will likely be my last.

It was TIME for me to get a new pillow. I had a cooling pillow for over 10 years and I joked about it in the store with the representatives. But, I held onto that one for so long because I was scared that I wouldn't find another pillow as good. I purchased two purple pillows. One of them(the firm one) was for my husband and the other(less firm one) was for me. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my pillow and so does my husband. Almost all of our furniture is from Ashley and we've never had any problems with any of it or with customer service. We LOVE Ashley Furniture in Albany, Ga.

I don’t like the fact that I was “rushed“ to write a review for Mrs. Noel AKA “Write me a review so they can know that I helped you”, help me with what? I didn’t pick out anything because my “limit“ was short. Nothing is up to date. My credit was ran twice and I was allegedly approved from $500-1000 but received two denial letters in the mail. Make that make sense. That could’ve save me credit points on my credit report for something else so no, you all get zero stars.

I have done my last business with this furniture store. Bought a very expensive recliner with an extended warranty. When I had problems with the electronics I went back and was told to contact the warranty company. I contacted the warranty company and was told that the electronics on a power recliner aren't covered. The salesman at the furniture store said that the warranty would cover any problem I had.

I went to Ashley’s just to look around not only did Ms. Sandra find me a better quality Living room set, it was on sale so I got it for a fraction of what I was gonna pay at Aaron’s. So better quality and less price, with a Customer Service experience out of this world. Not to mention a protection plan on it for up to 5 years! If you are in need of some quality furniture for a great price, go see Ant. I was looking for a living room and dining room set. I saw what I liked at Ashley’s, but I left to shop around which I shared with Ant. Two days later I returned to get measurements to determine if I really wanted to purchase the living room set from Ashley’s. As we measured the set with my little handy tape measurer, Ant came over with a standard measurer to assist. Lol! Long story short, Ant and Slim wouldn’t let us leave the store until they worked a deal. I end up getting the living room and a dining room set for less than the prices of the local competitors. So I was in deep search of a new bedroom suite. Now I'm not gonna lie: Originally, I found some Ashley furniture on Amazon, but it didn't work out for me. One of the items came damaged, and I got this whole runaround trying to get it sent back out. So I decided reach out to the store directly. Then I met Slim. Instantly, we connected and built such a beautiful rapport! This man had me spending all kinds of money in his store - but it was all justified! I ended up buying a new mattress, he ordered all of my pieces for my bedroom, AND the dresser the Amazon broke came directly from Ashley came in one peace and already put together! I was one happy girl. The delivery time can be quicker, but I'm a very satisfied customer and Slim is the guy you need to see!

My daughter and I had the best time shopping for new living room furniture at Ashley's! Any other time I've gone looking for something new, the experience was miserable. Too many choices, nothing feeling quite right, sales people who follow you around, but aren't really listening to what you want or don't really know their stuff, the list goes on. But that all changed when we walked in and Daysha, in sales, introduced herself. We had a blast shopping with her! She was so much fun, it was like I was shopping with a girlfriend. She understood what I liked, what I was looking for, she knew her stuff, the inventory, what was possible, and she kept us laughing. When I wasn't sure about the style and color of the accent chair we wanted, she let us move things around to get a better view and pulled in the store manager, Shaun "Slim", to give us some design insight (which was right on point!). My wife and I went in to start looking for new furniture for our new renovations and little did we know we would come out with exactly what we wanted and a new friend! Ask for Shaun “Slim” Smith ! He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! He made the experience 10 times better than we expected!

My husband and I are senior citizens who went to purchase a leather sofa bed. The sofa bed immediately gave us chemical burns and rash and respiratory issues. I made a visit to the store and made several calls in which was never documented. We had a service technician come to inspect the sofa to find that he too had reactions to the materials on the sofa. Ashly staff denied that any chemicals were found on the sofa and denied my claims to have it replaced. I have been a customer of Ashley for many years in another state, but the first to deal with this one in Albany, Georgia. I have been treated rudely and denied any further assistance. The sofa bed is of no use because it has made everyone sick, who comes close to it. Word of warning, best to go elsewhere when looking for quality furniture. Not here. My Ashley days are over and so will it be for my friends and family.

Ms. Brown was very patient and knowledgeable with helping me find a sofa that was perfect for my apartment. Everything went smooth with my delivery.

I purchased 2 night stands, and 2 dressers earlier last year. The smaller dresser drawers never functioned properly. They were stuck and off of the tracks. Instead of replacing what was clearly broken. Ashley's sent 3 different technicians 3 separate visits. Each time the drawer became less functional. I made a last attempt yesterday and there was no resolution even with corporate. I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes and 2 calls were dropped before resolution. I made a last ditch call today with 0 resolution for my malfunctioning ALL WOODEN dresser. So i suggest save your sanity and money and don't believe the "protection" plan scheme. Side note- All 3 technicians said it was obvious the tracks were damaged with shipping. The one technician who wasn't contracted and worked for Ashley's folded cardboard into the tracks!

I love the color and it looks great in my house.

What I like most is the way Tameka and Sierra has taken care of us. They pay such great attention to detail and have our best interest in mind. Great communication so we never feel out of the loop and Tameka in particular has gone above and beyond making sure we get what we love at the right time.

09.17.21 DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Since posting the last review we were contacted by someone at corporate by the name of Makensie. They refunded our delivery fee for the trouble. Delivered the chair 2 days later on Aug 17th. We were told the Sofa and loveseat would be delivered Sept 17th and 30th. Called customer service on the 16th and am now told they have no update and do not even know when the other two pieces will be in that were ordered almost FIVE months ago. When ordered we were told it would be 2-12 weeks at worst. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!! Selecting and ordering our furniture from the most amazing sales lady was a great experience. it was so satisfying. we received our paperwork, signed everything and paid for it that day. it’s so easy to spend money there. they take the money that very day. then came the wait. we were told up front that it would be a 2–12-week delivery up front. about four weeks in I get a text for me to schedule my delivery because our furniture was ready. I called the person who was purchasing our old furniture and said its ready so I need the old out to get the new in. he was able to schedule movers to get it that day. I went online and scheduled new delivery for later that week. I put lawn furniture in loving room temporarily. then we find out that that was a mistake and its someone's else furniture. Sorry. Today is 16 weeks and 1 day and still no couch, love seat and chair. they have offered $100 dollars for our trouble. I want my furniture that I paid for in the time I agreed to. spoke today to the supervisor of the number you call when you want an update on your order. canned answer. parts shortage, all orders are behind but I'm now a VIP. That means they will check on my order daily for updates. WOW. Can we get Chic-Fil-A over there to help out?

Had good service while in the store purchasing furniture, the problem came in when the sales associate said you will not receive any bill until your furniture has arrived and been delivered told me it could take anywhere from 2-12 weeks for furniture to come in so I proceeded with that information. 2 months later I have no furniture cause it hasn't all came in, so its still in there warehouse. I'm being charged late fees by the credit union and says I'm 2 months behind on my bill. Called Ashlees furniture talked to customer service lady who was very rude and says they only offer that with certain credit unions. I told her that the sales lady told me that, she responded it's our word against yours, so I told her I wanted to cancel my order she told me that I would be charged a cancelation fee and I'm sure there gonna get it since I put a down payment down on the new furniture. So I'm stuck with charges on my credit card and it has affected my credit score. I know it my word against there's but why would I hurt myself to get at a furniture store. I have got nothing out of this at all besides late fees and charges against my credit score for taking there sales rep word.

Harry, our sales associate here at Ashley furniture in Albany Georgia, is the saving grace of the entire company. Because of COVID limiting the shipping process, my wife and I have been waiting forever for our furniture to arrive, and Harry has been responsive and completely open to immediate communication every step of the way. As long as Harry is at this location I highly recommend coming to purchase some furniture.

Horrible customer service. I purchased a reclining sofa about 2 months ago and still have not gotten my complaint even looked at! It seems to be missing pieces underneath the foot section. I went to the store and spoke to the GM: Calvin Coleman 6 weeks ago, then followed with an email and pictures within days, then once again after a month of no word I emailed him this past week. He assured me that he'd check on it and I would hear from him or customer service soon. Still nothing. I purchased the extended warranty on the furniture also but if I can't get service right after the sale my chances of getting any help a year later with warranty claims will probably not happen either.

After seriously dreading shopping for furniture, and visiting four other stores in the area, Ashley ended up being the best by far. Our salesman was really helpful in spite of the fact that we weren't quite sure what we were looking for. He didn't pressure us and walked us through the store at our pace. We actually have an Ashley in town, but we'll be going back to this one to buy. Ask for Harry!

Ashley Homestore in Albany takes advantage of the elderly and scams them out of money. They charged $1100 to an elderly household member for an adjustable bed frame. The delivery guy refused to take it off the truck - made no attempt to deliver the frame and took it back to the store. Now the store has the money and the frame and REFUSES TO REFUND THE MONEY. Now the store plans to keep the frame, the money, and wants an ADDITIONAL $1400 to 'try' to deliver another frame (also nonrefundable!). No customer service. Complete scam.

I’ve bought from Ashley’s furniture before and it was an ok experience so we bought from them again. This time it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture store. Kept giving me different dates when my furniture was going to be delivered then after months of waiting it finally came on Christmas Eve and the furniture came damaged. We are now having the hardest time trying to get it returned and getting our money back. We will never buy from Ashley’s again. Buyer beware!!!

We purchased our new sofa and bookcase @ Ashley's in Albany. At first, I was skeptical at the prices, but they honored an online deal we found for the exact same couch in addition to my husband's first-responder discount. This placed us under our budge, so we were able to purchase a bookcase, too! We still came under our budget! So far, we've only received the bookcase, but it's beautiful!

My husband and I recently bought a beautiful, comfy leather sectional and an end table from Ashley HomeStore in Albany, GA. I do not recommend! I just recently purchased all my furniture with this store and the service is terrible, they were suppose to deliver my furniture 2 weeks after purchased they came with only half my furniture they brought my matress but not the box spring and it’s been over a month and I still haven’t receive anything!! We call and they tell us they don’t know anything. You can’t get your money back and if you do they take a big percentage of it. They “give you a 25 dollars gift card as a sorry gift” that you have to use at their store keep in mind everything is over a 100 dollars 🙂😡 and I still haven’t even received that so so so disappointed.

The warranty is useless unless you can prove it was an accidental. I bought a leather rocker recliner and the pull wire broke in normal use and no one will fix it. Paid close to a 1000 for this cheaply built high dollar furniture. Don't buy from them.

I had issues with delivery due to moving and was told that my options were to either cancel the order and pay a restocking fee or to exchange the items for others of equal value.

Yes yes, I get this a lot, my name is James Bond, have heard it all my life. I recently moved here from Atlanta. I am so glad I came to Ashley if I could give this review six stars I would. I was immediately greeted with a warm hello from Karen and she worked with me for an hour and a half and I bought a lovely new sectional and bedroom set for a great price. I will definitely come back for more furniture. The store is well kept and very nice. Wonderful music and music videos. The office staff was very nice too, need to give a shout out to Carroll and Brittany for waiting on me.

The store is huge. There are a lot of options for furniture. Very clean. Music playing and music videos playing on every TV which was a little annoying. Over all nice place.

Greta Nichols was VERY helpful and caring about what we were looking for. She walked with us to almost ever display in the store that we tested and talked about. She gave her own insight and knowledge of the merchandise to help us with our decision. In the end we left very happy with a new bed, couch, recliner, side and end tables and in the future will be coming back. Very caring business for this area that is known for being snobby when you come in just looking but end up spending $5k. This store was caring way before they knew we were spending money.

Went to a few furniture places and I had the best overall experience at Ashley's! A young girl, by the name Ginger, had definitely won me over. She listened to my problem instead of trying to sell me a bed!!! I needed twin size beds to fit in 1 room and was having trouble fitting my kids dresser in there too! Had a bunk bed but it was old and the kids didn't want that anymore. As she listened to me complain she pointed me to a bed with drawers and other storage, too! Having 2 of those beds in 1 room will definitely save me a lot of money and worrying! There needs to be more sales people like her!

I love walking into the Albany GA Ashley's store. There is always a friendly greeter when I walk in the door. I love all the furniture that's on the floor show case, I just wish that when I buy something I could take it with me right then and there instead of waiting a month for it to be delivered. Ashely's has a great and friendly staff. Even though I wasn't able to afford the steam punk gear mirrors at the time, Carroll was very helpful and tried to get me approved on my credit but didn't work for me. I will be back for those mirrors!!
