Worst place to buy furniture. I purchased a Sofa, Loveseat, dresser and Ancient chair from 5980 North Point Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30022 store. The sofa and Ancient chair came out defective. The chair is tilted to left side and in sofa there are scratches and base is not straight there is a manufacture defect in that. Initially the delivery was scheduled for June 28th for sofa and loveseat and on June 27th i got a call from delivery department and they confirm that they are going to do the delivery on time for sofa and loveseat goes into backlog so they cant deliver the loveseat. But on June 28th i didn't receive any delivery for SOFA as well. They didn't send me any notification and update for not delivering the product on June 28th. When i tried to reach the customer care but after trying for 2-3 hours as they didn't pick up my call, finally then i went to store and they told me the delivery department changed the routing no and they don't know why they have changed it. When i asked the store customer care they said why they themselves changed the delivery date they don't know that. When i bought the furniture n june 3rd they confirmed 3 times that all my items will be delivered by june 28th or prior but not after June 28th. That is how they take out money from your pocket and cheat you. Finally on june 30th they deliver the sofa and loveseat and sofa is defective and Loveseat is dirty.

They sold me items that are not compatible with each other. Now I am stuck with an adjustable base that I purchased for $2,100 and using it as a traditional box spring. They are not willing to do anything about it - only sending their technicians over and over without doing anything about the problem. I wish I could give them some negative stars.

I'll start off with a positive that the purchase experience was wonderful. Laura was great and very helpful and I happened upon a great sale. Unfortunately, this is where the goodness stops. I put 1/3 down on my furniture on 5/22. I was told I could pay the rest over the phone and then schedule my delivery. I called back to pay the rest and was told I had to come in the store. When I came in to pay approximately a week later, the date that I needed my furniture delivered (4 weeks later) was unavailable, so I had to select another date. But all of the furniture I purchased wasn't available then. I had 2 delivery dates scheduled. 1 on 6/27 and another on 7/21. It is concerning that delivery can't be scheduled until a purchase is paid in full when the delivery date is almost 8 weeks in the future. So now for 8 weeks, my cash is tied up on something I don't even have. It's understandable that inventory is on backorder due to COVID-19, but customers should not be expected to pay in full if the delivery dates are that far in the future. Now for the delivery. I was given a window on 6/27 of noon to 4 pm. The delivery didn't arrive until after 5 pm. When we had a thunderstorm which caused the power to go out. The team said they're not allowed to assemble the furniture without power so they just dropped $8K worth of furniture in boxes in our foyer with the promise that someone would come at 8:30 am the next day to assemble. It is now 12:10 pm (almost 4 hours past the time I was told someone would come to assemble). I've waited on hold for 25 minutes to try to learn when someone would be coming and have been hung up on twice now. Aside from the just the general horrific customer service this delivery experience has been, we planned our entire weekend around this and made arrangement for our dogs to be out of the house until the furniture was delivered and assembled so that when they came home to a new home (we bought the furniture due to a move), the environment would be calm and settled for them. Now we have 2 very anxious dogs that kept us up all night and will have more anxiety with people coming again (hopefully!) to assemble furniture. I realize that Ashley Furniture cannot be held responsible for our making accommodations for our dogs, but they should realize that customers are planning around their very large delivery window. I hope something will be done to make this right.

Service is horrible, these people do not care about you or work with you after purchase! My bed was dropped off and not put up because of missing screws. No biggie, once I went to put the bed up myself there were no instructions included! It’s been two weeks of me sleeping on the floor after spending 1600 bucks! Go to rooms to go......Trust me

Horrible experience after purchasing my first bed here for 1600 bucks! It was delivered and left for me to put up myself however it was dropped off with no screws or instructions! It’s been two weeks now and I’ve yet to get a refund or call back from this company. These are all facts and I would highly recommend going to rooms-to-go

I recently bought a new couch from Chance Armour at the Ashley Furniture in Alpharetta. He was so helpful with this purchase and my short runway to receive the couch before I move. I would highly recommend buying furniture Ashley Furniture, and specifically working with Chance.

It's my worst experience EVER. They have no idea about how to treat the customer. It started when I went personally to the store and I ordered 3 items. They said it will take from 5 to 7 days, then they said 15 days. After 15 days I called them, and they said a month!! When the delivery due came they called in saying we will deliver only 2 items because the 3rd item is out of stock and when I asked the lady who called in (why?) She said " I am only delivering the message I have no idea the reason behind it" I was like WHAT? I called the customer center to know why!! They said it MIGHT be out of stock, and it will take another month to be delivered!!! And guess what?? When they delivered the 2 items, some tools were missed. So basically, I delivered only 1 item?!!! This ridiculous, they literally have no idea how to run their business. They are not professional AT ALL!

This place is the absolute worst furniture store EVER! Their customer service is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! From the NON-customer service dept on down to the rude office assistant (Tamika).They don't stand behind their products & the protection plan PLEASE don't bother to purchase it. If anything needs to be fixed or replaced they will take you through hell! I have never been treated so bad with a retailer, and still waiting to have my situation resolved. For 6 months now. Although my salesperson is very nice the company she works for is TERRIBLE! Please don't waist your time or money purchasing anything from this store. i'd walk right across the street to Rooms To Go and have a friendlier, better, more PROFESSIONAL experience. If i could give them 0 stars i would!!!

I visited this location today to add on a piece to a sectional my girlfriend and I ordered a few days ago that has yet to be delivered. Mark was extremely helpful in getting this done quickly and easily with no additional shipping fees. He had an awesome personality and was super eager to take care of us. Really refreshing to see someone who actually cares about what they’re doing and it was easy to tell that he’s a good dude. Thanks Mark!

My wife and I were in search of an Entertainment Unit. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by the sales associate Mark Hollis. He patiently showed us around and recommended several nice pieces. We ended up purchasing the 1st one he recommended. I really don’t like furniture shopping but he made the experience very enjoyable. I didn’t know if my TV would fit on the stand so Mark pulled up the TV specs on his IPad, Then he measured the unit to ensure it would fit. To prevent us from walking around the showroom multiple times, Mark took photos of all the units we were interested in so we can compare them while sitting comfortably on a sofa set. I highly recommend this location. Great Customer Service and knowledgeable staff. Great Job Guys!

This store is not deserving of the one star I’ve given to them. After failing to deliver my dinning room set on time, some members of their team decided to lecture me about how refunds work. To make matters worse, they offered to have a 3rd party deliver my furniture if I agreed to pay the 3rd party agent out of pocket for the same delivery amount they were to refund to me. The whole ordeal put a very heavy strain on my family and work schedule during this time period and will further inconvenience us for a few more weeks. By far the worst experience I’ve had with a furniture store.

I called this store trying to get maintenance of my bed that I bought last yearAnd had 5 years warranty I talked to store manager his name is chane He said it’s your responsibility to check your stuff when you bought it to make sure it had no damage and he was not happy why I’m keep calling then and he said if you want to get someone to fix your issue You should get a day off and wait for someone to fixed it for you.I just have a question is he really a store manager? Terrible customer service. We bought an expensive leather recliner couch and recliner love seat (and protection plan which we were strongly talked into). There are tears in the crease between seat 1 and 2 on the couch and it’s only 2 YEARS Old. They refuse to replace or repair the torn leather! The Protection plan is only for accident spills. I contacted them the corporate office after the Alpharetta Northpoint store in Georgia we purchased from refused to help and recommended us call corporate since couches only have a 1 year warranty. Why are they selling protection plans? What a rip off!!! I will NEVER shop there again!

I ordered a desk over a month ago. When it shows up it was half of the desk. I can't get anyone on the phone to tell me where the other half of my desk is. I've called, emailed, and did Ashley messaging on the page. No one has returned a call or email in almost 2 weeks. I understand you're probably understaffed at the moment, but how have I not been able to reach someone for weeks now?

I ordered my furniture on 4/6/2020 and was suppose to receive it on 4/9/2020 per an email your company sent me. I received an email that it will not be delivered until May 14, 2020. We recently moved and donated our old furniture expecting to receive our new furniture. I called last week and asked for a refund so I can buy from another company. The rep took my information and said she would call me back. I never heard anything back. I need my furniture and if your company cannot deliver it sooner, I want a refund. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone without holding for hours. I will not order from your company again!

Another great experience at the Alpharetta Ashley HomeStore with Mason R. again. We went in already knowing what we wanted to purchase. He showed us the different options available for the memory foam mattress we wanted, gave us space and time to make our selections, and assisted us with applying for financing. No pressure or "up selling," or rushing us out. The manager was friendly, as were the ladies in customer service. Our mattress and foundation were delivered this morning without a single problem. The delivery guys were efficient and professional. If you're looking for a salesperson who is knowledgeable but not pushy, ask for Mason!

very very irresponsible! The store manager, Mr. Brad, did not have the decency to call me back after I called him several times to ask him to fix the problem. I spent a whole day waiting for their truck to show up. I received a call twice telling me it'll be delayed and they are not sure when they deliver. Then I received a message saying they'll be at my address in 45 minutes. 2 hours later a truck showed up with the wrong order! The driver told me he has to unpack and deliver the sofa no matter what; which turns out he was not honest. Then I waited 4 more hours at home for other guys to pick the wrong sofa up! Meanwhile I called the sales person, customer service, warehouse and no one knows what happened! Monday morning I went through the same story and of course this time the sales person took the day off and I end up having a delivery date for a week from now. I am not sure how optimistic I should be about it. The worst in store experience ever.
