I was afraid of having an overwhelming experience, furniture shopping, just like at car dealerships, however, she showed me the area to look in for what I was interested in seeing and told me that let her know if I needed any help. I found exactly what I wanted, check the measurements for the space, and called her a few days later to place the order over the phone! Very nice store. We received excellent customer service from Paula our sales advisor. We love our furniture we purchased. I only gave 4 stars because we had to pay a $300.00 delivery fee. We only live 13 miles from the store. I think that was way too much for such a short distance. The delivery guys were very nice so nothing negative about them either.

We highly recommend Eric at Ashley Furniture. He was very patient with us while we were trying to make decisions about furniture. He was very helpful and gave us important advice regarding our delivery.
We went to Ashley to look at love seats. We found a great selection. After many hours of shopping, we selected a love seat. We had a good experience with the purchase, the delivery and a subsequent repair. The scheduling of the delivery and repair were without problems.
Had a great salesperson Jonathan Tried out the chair I had seen online but chose another chair because the leather was better .Sat in the chair and decided on a blue recliner However after the chair was delivered and sat up in our family room I tried it out for several hours….found out it felt nothing like the chair in the store. The leg rest does not go high enough to support my legs and because of that I feel and look like I am on a slant board . This also causes my head to rest well below the top pad on the back of the chair. this chair is so uncomfortable that when I stay in it for any length of time I can nearly walk when I get up. My chair was delivered on October 29 and I went to the store that same day to let them know what a bad recliner it was but Jonathan wasn’t there so I met with him on Wednesday November 30 to ask if I could exchange the chair for the other recliner I liked and he said he would check and said a tech would be sent out ..,haven’t heard back . I paid for a new chair not one that a tech would have to repair. When at the store we measured and found out the foot rest on my recliner is 2” lower than the one at the store when lifted by the control..I really want another recliner. The photo shows the store chair foot rest goest up at least 19” and the home recliner is not quite 17”..Diane Burnett
Your guy stepped on my cordless vacuum and broke it. It cost me $129 to replace it. I told this to you when they called and they said they would handle it. Never handled it and never called back. This is after doing $4000 in business with you. What rating other than f- minus could I give you.

Totally not satisfied with the delivery service. My order was to be delivered Oct 23, 2024. It’s been delayed now three times. I was informed there’s an on going problem with the warehouse and the store communicating. Not my problem! If it’s not Delivered on Nov 6th as specified. I will cancel and never shop Ashly home furniture again!!!
Sales people are ok but customer service is horrible, and would not help with delivery issues and seemed to be reading from a script and hard to understand her, l am sorry but her English was not very good. Some delivery guys did not seem interested when they tried to deliver broken furniture. They also did not want to remove some packing material said it was my responsibility. We will be checking other options before going back to Ashley
I never write reviews, but the lack of management of goods was astounding. I ordered and paid in full for the Next-Gen Gaucho 4 seater couch and oversized ottoman on 10/27/24 with delivery set for 11/2/24 (keep in mind this cost over $3000). Our experience with the sales representative Geetam was fantastic and the only saving grace of this review. Three days after purchase I am informed via phone and then in person that the wedge portion of the couch ordered is now discontinued. When asked how it was possible that a customer would pay for furniture in full and have it be ordered but then be told “we’re sorry this item is discontinued” three days later, was met with there was nothing they could do about it. The options presented to me were to have an INCOMPLETE couch delivered to my home with no wedge (the essential piece putting the couch together), pick a completely different couch (which would of course have a different delivery date and could result in additional charges), or to cancel my order and receive a refund. Needless to say, we will not be returning and hope that the refund comes through quickly.
Poor service. Purchased a recliner lift chair for my 5'11" husband who has stage 4 cancer and it will only accomodate a 5'2" woman at the most. Has not been used but was told you have a no return policy. Now we have a chair we cannot use and we already paid for it. Years ago I purchased a whole bedroom of furniture from Ashley's in Brunswick Georgia. Was told the other day by a rude associate in Athens that you had a no return policy. Now we have a $800+ chair in our living room no one can use. Don't think I will be doing business with Ashley anymore!

I had a wonderful experience, the employees were all amazing and very helpful, Keyshley specifically was awesome! She talking me through all the sales and deals going on; I explained what I was looking for and she helped me find and pinpoint to something I would enjoy. She was charismatic and very relatable. When I had a question she made sure I got the answer.
I would like to praise Reggie, Clinton and Gerald for their exemplary service today at the Ashley Furniture store in Athens. I bought my daughter’s bedroom suite from Reggie a few years ago and came back today. He was as helpful and kind as I remember. The store manager, Irvin is pleasant and upbeat. Appreciate these guys for making my purchase right!
Bo was tremendously helpful throughout the entire process of buying a new couch and sectional for my house. He was extremely communicative and gave great recommendations which made the experience amazing. If you are looking for new furniture, I would highly recommend requesting Bo to assist you!
Sales experience was great, then deliveries were delayed and suddenly back ordered 3-4 months. I’ve been trying for over a month to get orders cancelled and get my money back. In store and 1-800 customer service hasn’t helped. I’m going to have to get a lawyer involved now. They charge you for items they don’t have and can’t deliver and have no way to refund you in the store. It’s been a nightmare. Add on: they haven’t done anything and I’ve heard from anyone with their company for assistance. Their response is BS. Store manager Erwin was no help and when I asked for his name he refused to give me his last name. He was very rude and basically told me that it wasn’t his problem that I wasn’t refunded.
If I could leave a negative review I would. I cannot say enough about how TERRIBLE the service is here. Been waiting over 3 months for furniture that was "supposedly in stock" when I purchased. Save your money and your time and buy elsewhere.
Great experience!!! Greeted at the door. They listened to what we wanted and had a great selection. Elizabeth and Irwin were super professional and friendly and knowledgeable and worked with us on what fit our budget and taste. They worked with us to make delivery happen and fast as logistically possible. We will be back for future needs.

What a joke of an experience this has been! Great salesperson, horrible pieces delivered to my home. Took 4 try’s for a couch delivery due to defects. I can’t express the inconvenience that was! It shouldn’t take two months. Secondly, my mattress has a dip since night one! That process took weeks to get someone out here. And the audacity to email me with a warranty denial. I’m outraged over this company! To speak and be forwarded to the amount of costumer service agents, I don’t have enough fingers on my hands to count them all. Very disheartening to say the least.
Don’t waste your time! Take your business elsewhere. I have been fighting with customer service for a week to speak to someone at the store or a supervisor when calling into customer service, because let’s be real the number to the store isn’t actually the number to the store it’s just to a call center, and I have been told 3 different times someone would contact me and it’s been over a week and not a single person has reached out to me. Total waste of money and time. Wasn’t notified until day of delivery that the tv stand I ordered was on back order. It’s been a total hassle to even get a refund.
You cannot get a real person to communicate to. I made a mistake to allow them to text my phone. I cannot stop it even by blocking them. There computerized voice mail is harassing and will not let you speak with a real person. There is NO customer service! I will never buy anything from them again and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for the harassing texts and lack of customer service!
Excellent customer service from the time we walked in the door until the ink dried on the Closing Documents! Our Representative Bo was informative, charismatic, and has a grand sense of humor!
It was I & mom‘s first time buying furniture from Ashley’s.. and honestly, it will be our last. Ladies and gentlemen, please save your dollars and spend them elsewhere. Ashleys does not care about your needs nor do they care about you as a customer… they only care about the incentives they will get once you make a purchase. If you have a concern and try to address it, don’t worry, let me assure you, Ashley’s will sincerely NOT CARE…nor will the manager Erwin McClendon. Save your money, peace of mind & energy while staying away from Ashley’s furniture. This was supposed to be a very special moment for mom, yet I feel as though Ashley’s took away “our moment” due to having to deal with the unnecessary BS… You’ve been warned…Your welcome 🤗…

The store was fine, the service was fine. We placed our order, was told it would be 3-4 weeks for delivery. We've had 4 additional weekly calls to delay our delivery. We've about had it with Ashleys at this point.

If I could select zero stars I would. We purchased an apartment worth of furniture: bed, box spring, mattress, bedroom set, couch, chair, ottoman, accent table, coffee table, end tables, office desk, kitchen table and chairs; the whole thing! They were all too happy to take our money and make their commission. However, the bed set was delivered without a footboard so that could not be put together. The kitchen table was delivered with a chair that had four different sized legs so was uneven and couldn't be used, and the accent table had no knobs and couldn't be opened. That's bad enough but the first person told us the bed footboard would be delivered that day. After a major run around and five different stories, it was delivered four days later. They had to send a tech for the chair and accent table (after I sent pictures) to confirm they were broken and delivered unusable (I guess the pictures they made me send weren't enough). It's been weeks and we're still waiting. If you're looking for poor customer service, broken furniture, and completely untrustworthy staff, visit Ashley in Athens. Otherwise run in the other direction. I will NEVER use them or any Ashley again and cannot in good conscience refer ANYONE to them. There's plenty of other options.

BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE CHOOSING THIS COMPANY!!!! This is literally the most TRASH company!!! Zero stars if it’d let me. There was a problem with EVERY. SINGLE. piece of furniture delivered. The customer service was horrific and they just push you off on to someone else so no one gets anything done. If I could go back I would’ve never gone through Ashley to get my furniture. It took days to get some things fixed (like my bed for one) and some things are still not fixed. I wouldn’t give the headache Ashley furniture has given me to someone I hate. Save yourself and your time and don’t go to Ashley Furniture for furniture especially the Athens, GA one because they will ruin everything. Not enough words to express how much I hate this company now and how much I regret using them. Also! As a young woman who lives alone I felt incredibly disrespected by the male technician who came to assess some of the furniture that was delivered broken. I did not catch his name but I would leave it here if I did. I had to say “sir I’m speaking to you” at one point because he would not acknowledge me when addressing him about an issue with the furniture he did not fix. He was in my home for almost two hours and half way fixed a broken chair and put up a shelf. So, now I know Ashley is not only a company of lazy and disrespectful people but a misogynistic one too. Long story short I will not be using them to finish fixing the things they broke I will do it myself because lord knows it will only take forever and not get done right if I go by Ashley Furniture.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience! We were looking for a bed frame and mattress, and we were able to find what we were looking for with ease. Bo Beard was absolutely amazing! He was extremely helpful and attentive. We have a baby and he was so sweet and helpful, he distracted him so we could try out mattress to figure out which one we liked. We will be returning when we need new furniture. Thank you Bo for making our experience absolutely wonderful!!

I ordered over $4000 worth of furniture. Delivery was scheduled on a Friday. The bed that was delivered was missing support legs. I went back to the store and was scheduled for those parts to be delivered and the bed installed on the next day. After waiting for 3 hours for the installers, they arrived without the legs. Now, I'm being told that it will be days before the parts arrived.
Bo is an exceptional sales person! He really takes the time to listen to what you’re looking for and what your budget it. Working with him is like shopping with a friend!

Where do I start. I had the best shopping experience that I've probably ever had. Jonathan (the Salesman) and Clinton (the manager) were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Jonathan took tons of time assisting me in my purchase of an entire home worth of furniture and accessories. And was SUPER patient with the multiple "changes of my mind" and indecisiveness when I was comparing the selections. He happily stood in there and was never dismissive as many sales people can be once you seem unsure. And Clinton was right there to assist with the formalities. If you're shopping at Ashley Furniture, I can't recommend this duo enough. TEN STARS FOR SURE!!!!

My couch was supposed to come in on July 2. I called July 1 because I had not heard any timeframe of when my couch was coming in. I was then made aware that they had changed my delivery date to July 12, and I recommended it be delivered at 5 o’clock on the 12th and the agent that works at Ashley, agreed that it would be delivered at 5:00pm on the 12th. Now it is July 11, and I got an email saying my couch should be delivered between 10 and 2 and nobody can do anything to live up to what they agreed to on a recorded phone call about having my couch delivered at 5 o’clock. It should not be this difficult to live up to your word, and to deliver the couch when your employee said it was going to be delivered. If my couch is not delivered tomorrow after 4 PM, preferably 5 pm, I will cancel my entire order.

ashley is typically a pretty good all around experience and i don’t feel pressured. the staff is generally knowledgeable and helpful. our trip on this day earned the 5 stars as the salesperson that helped us was very busy, but managed to be very helpful and knowledgeable for a laundry list of questions i threw at him in the middle of running his butt off. After looking for mattresses at other stores and walking out more confused than we were when we started, we went to Ashley in Athens. What a great experience! Bo helped us and he has to be one of the BEST salesman we have ever dealt with. He actually listened to what we wanted and cared. Instead of trying to force a purchase on us, he gave us the facts which allowed us to make the best decision. No pressure, no sales pitches and no trying to sell us something we didn't need. We had looked around and knew what we wanted. We had never been to Ashley’s and decided to look there before we bought. We went in, was greeted by Reggie, he showed us exactly where the furniture we wanted was located. We spent maybe 15-20 minutes looking. Found something we liked at a good price. Reggie handled the transaction, also sold us the protection plan! We were probably there less than 30 minutes. Loved it and appreciated Reggie. Very pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient.

Eric was wonderful! Very patient until we found exactly what we wanted. Great experience overall. Edit: the warranty dept is a different story entirely, unfortunately. They literally just schedule technicians without consulting you, forcing you to call to reschedule. Then, IF they answer (a big if) they don't enter the appt, which you only know because you called the store again to find out what 4-hour window the tech will arrive in since you never received the automated call you're supposed to. Ugh. The tech eventually comes but doesn't actually do anything. He orders parts to be delivered to you to then come back again (yes, going through the entire process above again). But then the technician doesn't actually fix it and then takes the ordered part with him, so when it breaks again, you get to start the entire process over again!!! Fun, right? Definitely worth all that money you paid for a warranty.......

Our sales person was very nice and accomodating. He wasn't pushy and made sure to listen to and answer all of our questions. The billing part was a completely different experience. Ashley "automatically" adds the product protection plans into your bill without your asking. If you don't look closely and check the bill over thoroughly, you will automatically get hit with many extra charges for things you don't want. Proceed with caution.

Tried to get an extended warranty on couch for a warped frame clearly covered for 5 years. Can’t get them to come out to my house. Contacted manager several times. No help at all. I now have a couch with a warped frame that looks awful! Do not buy from Ashley furniture they are not a honorable furniture company!!

I purchased a reclining sectional a few years ago, and I did purchase the extended warranty with it-not something I normally do. Well, I started having trouble with one of the recliners and after sending a technician out-in just a few days after I reported the issue-they determined that it could not be repaired. The furniture I had purchased had been discontinued, so Ashley issued me a credit for the entire amount I paid for the sectional. Not just the recliner that was broken! The extended warranty proved to be very useful! Paula at the Athens store was so very helpful in assisting me with purchasing a replacement. The process was very easy and I’m so satisfied. I did purchase the extended warranty for the replacement sofa too…not intending on having to use it, but just in case! Great customer service in the Athens store, went over and beyond! I ordered between 5-10k worth of bedroom furniture. A drawer and a nightstand came damaged upon delivery. I've been told 10 different stories on how this works to get them replaced.I had a technician come out and look at the damaged items and he asked if I would like it to be replaced instead of repaired. I said I would like replacements because I spent a lot of money and I expect my furniture to come as advertised. He jumped on a call with the dispatcher and after checking to see if items can be ordered, he said we can do the replacements. The technician then called his boss and his boss was very irritated because he gave me the option for replacements. He said "You're not supposed to give them the option. Go in and say I'm here to repair". Very demanding like the customer doesn't have a say in their property. I then called the store and a store representative said it has to be repaired and if it's not up to my standards it can be replaced. Since then, Ashely has reached out for a tech to come back out. I mentioned they already came out and they seemed confused. The caller told me 3 things I had to do that already happened. I called the store back and someone else said the previous representative was inaccurate in saying I can have them replaced after repairing. There seems to be no procedures in place to help their customers. Nightmare.

I am a cripple senior citizen. The night manager and the sales lady was so great to me. They just got me a new living room suite and a bedroom suite and a breakfast set for me. The best mattress and adjustable base for my bedroom suite also. They made it so easy and great for me. I bought $23,000 dollars and supplied my whole house with new furniture. If i could give negative stars i would. Buyer beware. I’ve tried to contact Ashley furniture since June…. JUNE of 2023 about repairs for my furniture, it’s always the run around “if you don’t hear from us in three days call us back”, “can you send the pictures again we didn’t get them”, “no there are no tickets for your furniture repair”. I figured if i left this someone would reach out to me, but i doubt they’ll even take the time to read this, much less contact me about my furniture. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

I waited 3 weeks for my order , then I received a damaged sofa twice and they expected me to miss work two times. I was told I would get a refund of some of my money that never happened and almost had to cancel my order after I gave my old furniture away! Just awful experience with this company !!!! Just beware ps you shouldn't have to send a technician out to fix brand new furniture!!!

Had a great experience with Johnathon today it was so refreshing to be able to look at items then find a sales person to check out with rather than be followed around and pushed towards every item we looked at.
Ashley Store ordered the wrong item and they refuse to accept responsibility for the error. It's going on week 2 and I'm trying to get the right item delivered. I will keep you posted. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I should have learned my lesson from the first mishap. So much for second chances. There will not be a third. Don't purchase from this store. Horrible customer service. I should have checked BBB before making another purchase.

I’m so disappointed with Ashely’s. We’ve basically furnished our whole house with Ashley’s. Up to this point we have only had good experiences. We were in need of a master bedroom suit. We bought and ordered an ENTIRE bedroom from them. They delivered and set up everything but forgot the box spring. After calling multiple times we were told there was nothing they could do and now my husband and I are sleeping on our mattress on the floor because have no bed.

Going on the 3rd delivery trying to get the table we purchased in November. If you buy a table from Ashley furniture BEWARE…it comes in pieces. Most absurd sales tactics I’ve ever encountered. When they deliver BEWARE your full order will not be on the truck. Have the base of the table BUT who just orders a TABLE TOP. Mine is missing. No customer rep has called me. I had to call them. Even though whoever I talked to when delivery guys were here 2x said someone will contact you regarding your tabletop. No one did. I had to call this store. Still waiting and wondering what kind of Mickey Mouse warehouse operations this company has. Never again will we buy from this company.

I purchased a new mattress. And because every mattress I have ever purchased was sold as a set with the box springs, I assumed the springs were included. I also assumed that a $200 delivery fee would cover the removal of the old mattress. This has been routine all of my 63 years. At delivery we discover no box springs and no removal of old mattress. How simple it would have been for the store to at least mention this to me. Very diasappointing for Ashley furniture to treat a lifelong customer this way. I take responsibility for not reading all the paperwork, but based on past experience with Ashley I never needed to. They were always clear and upfront with every detail. Pretty important detail to miss for both of us.
I went to the Ashley’s in Athens and I’m so glad I did! I finally found what I wanted and the sales lady Paula helped me. She helped me so much! I’ll be getting a bed next and I’ll be coming back to Paula! She was great and gave me very good customer service. I recommend Ashely’s but ask for Paula 🙌

We came to ashley furniture in athens on November 16th & bought a sectional couch and end table. It was scheduled to get delivered on the 28th of November. I took off work for it to get delivered waited all day and they took it out of the truck and told me it was broken & ashley would give me a call. Ashley never called me , i had to call them that next day. I have scheduled a christmas party at my new home on December 2nd for a reason due to getting my furniture. We didn’t get our couch and now our guests and family coming into town staying with us will have to sit on the ground. We have waited already 2 weeks on this & now another 3 weeks due to it being broken. This isn’t our fault that delivery truck just toss the furniture in Since they aren’t the ones paying thousands of dollars and we now are having this inconvenience for our guests. I called customer service and all they could do is $50 for me . $50 is all i got offered after i missed work and i’m paying thousands for something that was out of my control. I thought ashley furniture was better than this. They should atleast refund me way more than $50. $50 doesn’t pay for my bills when i have to miss work. Due to this situation now I have to take off work twice this month . My guests will have to sit and sleep on the floor. I think this should be resolved somehow. Now i am waiting 5 weeks which is insane. i would have gone to rooms to go if i knew i would have all this trouble .I came to you guys for this reason bc your turn around time was 2 weeks. I am very upset that customer service couldn’t help me or rush my couch. This is very inconvenient now for my guest. We may need to get them a room at a hotel so they won’t have to sleep on the floor and guess what that’s more money i have to spend all because they just throw your furniture and broke it. i’m considering canceling the whole set and going to Rooms to go. Future reference i know not to go back or recommend to this to everyone i know .

I had a great experience purchasing a new full size bed. The salesperson, Riley, was a delight to work with and answered all of my questions. She helped me find just what I was looking for. I got a good delivery date too, which is a bonus bc I won’t have to wait too long to have my purchase set up and ready to use in my home.

I'm still waiting on the loveseat even though both pieces were showing in stock at the point of sale. FIVE times (so far) my delivery has been rescheduled by the delivery department reason given "won't make it in time for delivery". 😡 Huge disconnect between sale and delivery.

The delivery itself was good, however, the inside shelves did not have enough stuff to hold them in place. One of the the delivery guys tried to fix this by putting in temporary pins in. As I checked before they left I realized that these were loose and the fell off. The store promised to send technicians to fix these on the November 21st and I have not heard from them up to this point. I guess they want me to call and fuss at them before they come to get this fixed. The unit itself is beautiful.

Thank you Paula for holding my very indecisive hand through choosing a new sofa. Couldn’t be happier! I had a very disappointing experience when I ordered a sofa from Rooms To Go website and it was two inches less deep than the online dimensions, and not at all comfortable. I decided I needed to choose one in person. My parents’ sofa is from Ashley and it has held up nicely through the years. Paula actually showed me the one I chose, which I had not seen. It’s comfy yet a more contemporary style. Delivery was smooth and we are super happy!
Bo Beard was a true GEM! He walked around the ENTIRE store with my husband and I and was SO patient while we sat on all of the couches! He was beyond helpful and we will be back again just to see him!

Ordered sectional sofa 10-1 , had set for delivery on 10-28 , and they call and say not available, will be in on 11-4 .. we’ll that day has come and they say we can only get one piece and the other piece is back ordered. So we have cancelled the order. Why sell me something you don’t have in stock is ridiculous. Really liked it but it’s been a month without a damn sofa.. never again will I buy for Ashley

We ordered and paid for a couch, loveseat, and recliner three weeks ago. It was suppose to be delivered today. Got a confirmation on Monday for all three pieces. Only the loveseat came today. The delivery driver had to tell us it was on back order and that Ashley furniture should have called us. We call and they say we don’t control that. After being on hold for over five minutes, she says the manager was busy with a customer and couldn’t come to the phone. They should not be able to sell furniture if it’s not in stock. This is very poor customer service. Take our advice and do not order from Ashley furniture. Once they get your money, they don’t care if you get your furniture or not. All they care about is a sale.

She was sure to keep my cart updated so it wouldn’t be deleted and even sent texts with updates on my order to keep me informed. The experience of buying a new reclining couch and love seat could not have gone any better! We had lots of choices to sit in, get a feel for and make a decision that was never pressured. Great communication throughout the process. Christie helped us and really made everything go smooth. As we were walking out Irwin, Store Manager checked in with us and we even had a great discussion about Georgetown Basketball. The stop into Ashley Furniture saved us a trip to Atlanta! I give Ashley Furniture in Athens Georgia zero stars. We purchased an outdoor set with a carpet . We were told we could not take any of it with us it had to be delivered. We paid for some "white glove service". They came and put the furniture together, and we were told the carpet was on backorder.We then got a delivery date for the rug. I spent over 30 minutes online trying to change the delivery date and was told i was unable to do so. So we had someone at the house the day of the scheduled delivery... nothing. Then we were told we had to pick up at some warehouse, then we were told we could pick it up from the store , it would be in the back ready. My daughter went to pick it up. The carpet she received was the one we ordered that was STILL SITTING ON THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR!!!! So essentially we bought the rug, paid for the rug, were told various things, and the whole time people have been walking all over it in the store. Spent 30 minutes on phone with customer service and they offered me their apologys. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN!! Would rather sit on the floor!

The customer service at the Buford location when purchasing my furniture was the good part of my experience, thus the 2 stars. The delivery and corporate customer service experience was "trash" and seriously "worked my nerves"! I purchased my furniture a month in advance and was told even the day before that my bed including the adjustable base would most definitely be there on the scheduled date. I followed up with corporate because I received an email saying that the base would be delayed a couple of days but the guy assured me that that was not the case.The delivery of course did not include the base. After many phone calls to reach an actual person the delivery was nonchalantly scheduled for 2 days later. I stayed home for the 4 hr delivery window and received a call at the 4 hr mark saying "Im not sure if anyone told you or not but your delivery was put on the wrong truck and they are out real far and cant bring it". I called the corporate office and my calls kept getting dropped until the same guy that assured me the first time that my base would be delivered answered the phone. I was frustrated and the guy responded by hanging up in my face!!! What the what!? Who does that? After attempting to reach everybody and their momma I finally reached out to the Buford sales department (out of desperation) and log story short got my adjustable base (that you pretty much need to sleep on the bed) the next day. If the delivery side of Ashley was as good as the in-store sales experience I would have given them 5 stars.

Word of advice, just be careful ordering and paying for furniture that is back ordered. Purchased a sectional sofa on 8/12 was assured all pieces would be in and could be delivered in a couple of weeks. On the first scheduled delivery date 8/31 got a phone call that the corner piece was still backordered. Rescheduled delivery for 9/14, got a phone call night before that 2 pieces were back ordered and delivery was going to be cancelled and rescheduled. No sofa after one month, was charged full price of sofa on original purchase date. Had to call and cancel the order and awaiting refund. It was a beautiful piece of furniture, just not the best customer service. If you don't have it, don't sell it. Update 9/20: After I posted this review I was contacted by the Irwin(hope I’m spelling that right) the store manager. He was very professional and kind and apologized for delay in receiving the sofa I had ordered and paid for. He promised to make it right by getting all pieces delivered to me within the next week and he also offered to refund the delivery fee. I received the sofa by the date promised. The gentlemen who delivered it did an awesome job bringing it in and setting up. I’m still waiting on the delivery fee refund but I absolutely love it and I’m very pleased with my purchase. I would purchase from Ashley Furniture again.
I was very happy with my $5,000 sectional that I purchased from Ashley 3 years ago. I was comfortable with the purchase knowing that I also bought the warranty, until it was time for me to use the warranty and was told by Jose Fernandez from the warranty department that the items that are broken on my sectional is not covered under the warranty. When I made this purchase the salesman told me that the warranty covered any and everything that went wrong with my purchase for up to five years and these simple pieces that connect my sectional together to keep them from moving apart is not covered. Now each peice of my sectional moves when someone sits in them.This is why people don't buy warranties because warranties or misleading and useless when you need them, but yet Ashley's they took my money for the useless warranty.
Purchased and paid for a sectional sofa on 8/12./23Was told one piece was out of stock but was assured it would be in and delivered in 2 weeks. Day of delivery they called to tell me corner piece was out of stock and rescheduled for 9/15/23delivery. Night before delivery warehouse called to say 2 pieces were back ordered and it couldn't be delivered. One month after paying still no sofa. Called the store to cancel order and now awaiting full refund. The thing is, no one really cares , makes no difference to them. There were no apologies , no trying to make it right or offer maybe to find something comparable in stock or offer of a discount. Word of advice to Ashley Furniture , if you don't have it don't sell it . Better yet wait and charge people for items once all of it has been delivered. Stop wasting people's time and money.

I bought a new dining room set today. Eric was my salesperson and he made the buying experience delightful. He pointed me in the direction of a set that was on sale. I was amazed at the price! I paid half of what I was expecting. After the sale was completed, I realized I needed to make a change but had to pick up my grandchildren. I told Eric what changes I wanted and told him I would be back in 20 minutes. I anticipated having to cancel the previous order and go through the paying process all over again. I had already lectured my three grandchildren about appropriate behavior in the store thinking it would take a while. However, when I returned, the change had been made, the price recalculated and I was handed the new receipt. Everyone was so friendly and patient with my request for a change. I plan to do my future furniture shopping here.

Do not buy from Ashley furniture, they have shoddy furniture and the absolute worst customer service ever! Delivery was a nightmare & took weeks. After 1 week, the drawers wouldn’t go back in their tracks & I discovered the flimsy staples it was put together with had given way so that one side was parting from the top. I called the store, sent an email with pictures & over the next week talked to someone in “customer care” and at my local store and got a lot of promises but nothing was done. We ended up fixing it ourselves with real hardware & better bracing. I will never buy from this company again!
I was told that my delivery would be 10 days from the day of purchase, only to receive a phone call 2 days before delivery that pieces of the furniture were on back order. Now, delivery has been pushed back another three weeks. Information on product availability should be easily available for the sales person upon the sale of the items. Seems like they just wanted to make a sale.
Let me just tell everyone that my family had the best experience working with Paula yesterday. She was extremely attentive to our wants and needs and completely worked with us to maintain our budget. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would. If your ever in the need for new furniture I highly recommend you see Paula!

However I was a bit displeased with the level of transparency that exists within the finance department and sales associate. I ultimately wanted to make the purchase but some of the math and pricing analysis was so very word of mouth without detailed explanation I felt like I was getting scammed/swindled into paying an amount that was shy off the best deal I could get as a customer. I’m unsure whether I’ll be shopping with Ashley in the future since there seemed to be a disconnect between finance department and retail associate. Being that my demographic is on the younger side, I also didn’t feel I was being given a respectable treatment based on my stature of my age.

Super annoyed with Ashley furniture. This is our 3rd time purchasing from them because we love their products but their shipping & communications NEVER fails to disappoint us. We ordered a new sectional and were told it would be here August 2nd. We called today since we had no delivery time frame and they had my husbands phone number wrong, they stated it was not available until SEPTEMBER 6th now?!! The only reason why we went with this couch is because it was available and ready to be shipped so soon. We are expecting a good amount of $$ off our order since we spent $4,000 and this is a huge inconvenience to us. We were communicative with them and told them why we needed a couch so soon. We just purchased a home and are having family from out of town this weekend. Now we will have no where to sit. Hopefully they can make this right or we will be cancelling our order and shopping elsewhere. You’d think 3rd times a charm but I guess not. The only positive part of this is Reggie, our sales guy was super awesome.

While sectional shopping with my daughter for her first apartment, Bo greeted us at the door. He didn’t hover but gave us time to look around. He was easy to find when we were ready to talk. He was knowledgeable about the products and the prices. He shared his card with his cell number and invited us to call him when we’d made a decision. Once we had made our decision, he put the sofa in a cart for us on the last day of the sale. We were able to make our purchase online and schedule delivery. If the delivery and quality are as impressive as Bo’s good service we will be happy and loyal customers.

Paid an additional $200+ for “premium delivery and assembly” on furniture to now have had 2 technicians come out and tell me my furniture is broken. It was delivered broken and now I am just “waiting for parts”, it’s been 2 months. Don’t pay more for delivery because it’ll still be broken when you get it.

We purchase a love seat and sofa in 2022, Since the original purchase we have experienced a sofa and a love set that failed prematurely and three units that showed up at our house damaged and separated. We have been trying to resolve this issue since February of this year. all we get from the customer service department at the store is they want to replace them with another of the same. We are not trying to be unreasonable, after receiving five failed units we requested a reselection or a complete refund. We are willing to pay the difference if the reselection cost more. We keep getting fresh promises that our request is under review. We were told to wait 72 hrs. last week and called back today and got another fresh promised for 72 more hrs. Why would anybody want to do business with Ashley furniture? Not one person has called us back.

Ashley Furniture Store in Athens was so welcoming. Our shopping experience with Riley and Erwin was perfect. No pressure just very friendly and knowledgeable.
They changed the delivery date for my sectional and dining set more than once. When they finally arrived a month later, only a third of the sectional was delivered and no dining set. When I checked with the store, I was told that the rest of the sectional would arrive 4 to 6 weeks later and the dining set even later. I told the sales person to cancel everything as that was ridiculous! I asked that the items be removed ASAP. That was 2 weeks ago! I have called twice since to remove the items from my home and they have not come. Instead they charged my credit card $2000! They are the worst furniture store ever!! Ashley Store get your act together and remove your items from my home and refund my money immediately!!

We purchased a love seat Item #3990596 and a sofa item #3990587 on 02/19/22 with the extended Premium Protection Plan from Ashley Home Store in Athens, GA. They delivered the items, but the love seat was damaged upon arrival. They replaced it with another. We noticed after the first months of use; the cushions and seat suspension began to collapse and we could feel the side boards in the seat suspension. 02/10. Prior to the one-year warrantee expiring we contacted Ashley Customer Care and received a Claim Case #783-2651. 02/13. We received an email requesting photos and serial number of these items. 02/14. We replied with photos. 02/24. They sent a tech out to investigate our complaints. The two techs, Nick and Ben, confirmed our issue and said that they would have to be replaced. 03/01. We had no response and due to the lack of quality manufacturing of these items we requested by email for a reselection. 03/13. There was no reply and another request for reselection was sent. Received reply from Tammy at Ashley via email. 03/14. We sent an email and tried to reach Tammy by phone with no response. 03/15. We received an email stating reselection could only be done in the first three days after purchase. Obviously, our issue didn’t occur in the three days. Ashley suggested we contact the extended warranty provider. We contacted the company, and they responded back on the same day stating that this was not covered by their plan. 03/21. We contacted Ashley and then they sent a second tech, Shenna, to inspect the items and she concurred the same results. She took pictures and she submitted her report. 04/01. We received a reply from Ashley that they were working on a resolution. 04/05. We sent an email after the second tech confirming the issue and reinstated a request for a reselection. They stated a reselection was not an option according to their policy, we requested them to pick up the units and give a full refund. 04/12. We received an email from Ashley stating they were bringing out another set just like what we had and it was delivered 04/21. The love seat was damaged upon arrival, and they took it back. They exchanged only the sofa. 04/24. We had made it clear we did not want another set just like what we had. We have not received a call or email about resolving our current situation. Again, a request was made to pick up the furniture and refund our money. There has been no response. 05/03. We spoke to Ledford with the Customer Escalation Department, and he said I would be receiving a call from Whitney the Manager. We have not received that call. After all that had been done, we received a request for photos after two teams had already come out and inspected the products. Another request for a full refund was made via email on 05/03/23. 05/08. Stopped at the store where we purchased the furniture and spoke with Erwin, the manager. He stated that he would send an email and try to get a clarification on resolution and call me back. No response from him. I called and left a message and he did not call me back. 05/15. Erwin stated that he had received no response from the corporate, and suggested I call corporate Customer Care and I quote “Raise Holy Hell” with them to get my refund. He stated that he has no authority or input on these matters after the sale. This is an indicator of their lack of customer service. 05/05. Received an email from Ashley Customer Care and they offered $180 credit off original purchase price and in exchange they would process an even exchange for the love seat. 05/18. We responded back to their offer. After another request was made for them to pick up their sofa and love seat and refund our money. 05/24. After several attempts to reach them by phone and email there is still no response. This summary was emailed also and asked to forward to Customer Care. 05/28. We received the same computer-generated message for an even exchange or $180 for each piece or an exchange of another just like we already have with poor quality. Week of Memorial Day: same song and dance, no help!!

I went to four furniture stores in Athens and it was only here that I was greeted quickly and was able to find what I wanted within my price range. The associate who helped me, Bo Beard, was very welcoming and kind. He showed me a wide variety of price ranges and gave me options. The purchasing process was extremely fast and the price was almost half that of all the other places I visited.
READ your contract thoroughly and in detail. Was told by the salesman that our warranty purchased covers any pet damage. Contract says different and now the over $6000 in furniture we purchased is not covered by pet damage. Lied just to get a sale. Shame. ----- ETA: The store reached out. While I appreciate the reach out, the store manager provided no value to my situation. He was pleasant though the corporate did not give him the power to make the situation right. Will absolutely not be buying again from this company. Recommend you do not as well.

I will never order anything from this company again. I ordered a couch 8 weeks ago and it has already been delayed 4 times. It has been 18 days since the original delivery date and it is being pushed back again. This time the delivery driver came to my apartment to deliver the couch and did not even knock on the door to come in. We received a call from a spam number saying that the couch would be delivered in 10 minutes and the driver had already packed up and left. Now they are telling me that the couch will not be able to delivered for another week. Customer service is clueless and has done nothing to help except push back delivery dates. I do not recommend buying from this company. If I could cancel the order and get my money back, I would.

Should have known better but purchased another piece of furniture and guess what?!? No show on day of delivery again with no notice or explanation. There is a “hold” on the Order that has already been paid for and that no one can explain. Worst customer service ever!!! Stay away. You can by the same brands of furniture at other stores and actually get what you paid for delivered in a timely manner.
Bought both a bed and a sectional - less than two years later, both are broken. Normal wear and tear and the actual legs have come off of both.

Delivery was set and confirmed and they were a no show !!! No call to let me know and no explanation. Now they want me to miss another 1/2 day to wait for delivery. Terrible customer service.
Sales associate Myreisha was very sweet and professional. She wasn’t overbearing. She let us look around and just checked in every now and then to see if we had any questions. We picked out a nice sectional for our living room. She made the whole process easy! Now to hope that our furniture is delivered on time. After reading reviews I’m a a little leery. The store has a nice selection of furniture.

Very bad customer service they did not come out to assemble the bed that was delivered. The mattress that was delivered has a hole and this was also not resolved. It's been 2 weeks we have been going back and forth with them. When I called their manager all he tells me is that they don't have a number for their warehouse to call. What kind of company is that?! All they want is their sale and once you have the item they don't take care of you. Don't buy from them.
I will never order from Ashley furniture again. Ever!!!! Our sales rep Matt was the ONLY good experience we have had with this company. We ordered furniture in July and we’re told that the furniture was in stock and would be delivered the following weekend. They call us three days before delivery and now all of a sudden the furniture we ordered is no longer in stock. When I called to verify the new delivery date, I was told that it would be delivered in pieces on four different days instead of all together. WHAT??!! NO!! That’s just ridiculous. Who does that??!! Then, once we FINALLY received our furniture, the delivery guys cut the back of the couch in two places with a box cutter in their haste to get the furniture unwrapped and put together. When I called customer service report this, they sent a technician out to view the damage and said they would order the fabric and repair the damaged area. Ummm, I don’t think so!!! But wait, there’s more. When they delivered the sofa, I was supposed to have an end table as well, but that was not delivered. A few weeks go by and no word as to when they would deliver the end table. So, I call customer service AGAIN and apparently it was just sitting in the warehouse with no sign that it was ever going to be delivered. But wait there’s even more!! We also had a tv stand ordered, which we were told WAS on back order and would not be in stock for a month or two. Okay that’s fine. No big deal. Well, I get a call to schedule the delivery of the tv stand because it was now in stock at the warehouse. THREE days before delivery, I get a phone call. The tv stand is no longer in stock and will be delayed ANOTHER week. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will NEVER EVER shop with Ashley Furniture again. Worst experience ever!!!

It was Labor Day & only 1 person acknowledged me & I just wandered around. I did find something that I had an interest in & went to the front of the store to ask the person to find someone who could help me. He was involved with his cell phone & I asked for help. He did get someone very quickly & I got the info I needed & will call back to order merchandise & schedule the delivery.

Absolutely one of the most HORRIBLE experiences I've had. First, I visit the Athens, Georgia store and all was well during the selection process and the actual purchase. From there it's been a complete train wreck. I received confirmation emails leading up to the day before delivery that all but one item was going to be delivered on 8/11. I received a text message early morning on 8/10 stating my order was on track and all expected items would be delivered. Within 10 minutes I receive a voicemail message stating 2 of the confirmed items to arrive on 8/11 would not be delivered. I responded immediately and was informed 2 items are not in the warehouse. Despite my sales rep having confirmed they were in the warehouse at the point of sale, and 10 minutes earlier receiving confirmation my entire order less the 1 item was on track for delivery the next day. Obviously, I'm not happy but what do you do. I then learn the 1 item I knew as not going to be delivered on 8/11 but rather scheduled for delivery on 8/23 is now on back order until 10/23. I elected to just cancel the order for that item and requested a refund. I was told by the corporate office representative that she could process the cancelation but could not issue me a refund but rather I would need to call the local store for a refund. Urgh! I paid for everything in cash and now feeling like that was not a smart move at this point. Fast forward to the morning of 8/11, I receive a call from the delivery guy who was very nice confirming he was 30 minutes away. I am thinking, GREAT!... However, he comes to the door and starts by saying "Please don't get mad at the delivery guy". I'm thinking, what now. He then proceeds to tell me yet another piece of furniture just confirmed the day before as arriving on 8/11 was not in the warehouse. I am furious.... So, I proceed to call the local Athens store after he drops off the furniture only to find the local Athens number is forwarded to corporate. So, here I go again, the representative proceeds to inform me the piece of furniture in question was delivered and after much back forth he finally acknowledges it wasn't. He also told me I have to go to the store to physically request a refund rather than call as the local number is usually forwarded to corporate office. I ask to speak to a manager, he places me on a long hold and comes back only to report no one in the escalation department is answering the phone. I am supposed to receive a call back this afternoon. Needless to say I won't hold my breath. I am realize now that I will need travel an hour back to the Athens, GA store to hopefully reach resolution. I have led large customer service teams for 20 years and have spent my entire career in customer service. I can tell you that Ashley Furniture is one of the worst experiences I've witnessed in the area of customer service. I would never make a purchase from them EVER again, and I would NEVER recommend, in fact I would WARD AGAINST others purchasing from Ashley Furniture. What a nightmare and I haven't woke from it yet!
Still waiting on a delivery that was supposed to come in June, ordered in May. Every time I call they give me a new date. Now it'll be September 1st, it's 8/9. Worst customer service.

Bo was extremely helpful. I had him walking all over the store. He looked things up for me on line and helped me with my purchase of a dining set and a coffee table. I appreciate that he wasn't pushy (like furniture sales staff that I encountered at other stores). I will be back, and I will request Bo again.

Our sales rep Bo was phenomenal. 10/10 good dude. We were told furniture was in stock and would be delivered 5 days from purchase. They didn't call on day 4 to schedule delivery so we called and waited on hold for an hour just to find ours delivery pushed. No big deal except no one told us. Furniture finally delivers and is missing hardware to complete assembly and scratched. Call store to get them to fix and 3 weeks later to repose so I call again. Get Clint on the phone. He is the least empathetic human I've ever met. Who knows if he fixed the problem. Tells me oh it will be 3-4 weeks before problem can be fixed but gets me on "schedule". This store is a laughing stock. And an absolute embarrassment. Will never do business again.
Purchased $8,000 worth of living room furniture in January 2022 and still haven’t received the full set! Still waiting on 2 piers and bridge. No one has reached out to help with this! What a shame! They have used our money as interest for 6 months and continuing!
I highly dislike leaving poor reviews, however this experience with Ashley Furniture has been the worst we've experienced while buying furniture for our home. We spent thousands of dollars here and are still missing furniture. We had the sales rep make sure everything we selected was in stock, which he allegedly did. Well, we are still waiting on our dining room table and 2 chairs and customer service has been giving us the run around leaving us on hold on the phone and going around in circles via email. They got their payment, they don't care. I will never buy furniture from this place again. Do not recommend.

Furniture selection is good. Delivery is horrible. We have been pushed back for delivery three times now. We have been getting a piece at a time. We paid all monies upfront. They got our money and all we get is phone calls explaining the next delivery Date. Nine months and waiting. Yuck. Go to Adcock Furniture instead.

I have spent thousands of dollars with Ashley in the past, but not anymore. This last purchase will be my last. I bought a recliner, tv stand, and some other items. They emailed me a time frame of when they would be there to deliver. Great. The delivery date comes, the driver shows up two and a half hours before the window (I was out of town as I had planned to be home during the time frame they had given me), and instead of waiting 5 minutes for me to find someone to go to my house he dumps everything on my front porch/yard. Not only did I have to put everything in the house and assemble it myself, my recliner is broken. The frame on the bottom is bent. I have called, emailed, even visited the store. I feel like taking it to Athens and dumping it in front of the store just like they did to me. I refuse to have an $800 chair collecting dust in my living room because nobody wants to help me. They all give me the run around. I would not recommend Ashley (the store in Athens) to my worst enemy. Customer service has seriously gone down hill. It’s sad. But there are plenty of other places to get furniture and I will gladly be using them instead. One star is still too high for a review of this store in my opinion.

Bought a whole bedroom set, Bought Livingroom set Sectional and opted for the extended warranty. Now when our sectional is basically on the floor, Ashley sent a tech to come out and repair or deem it not repairable. Which it was the latter, not repairable and all we get is the run around from Ashley and their warranty! Horrible customer service!
I had furniture on order since February 2022, I accept the fact it would be six months before I received my items, on the day of my delivery I received a call telling me not all pieces had arrived so my delivery date is being moved from June 8th to August 10th. I ask to bring what had arrived and I would wait on the rest, this was not allowed. Customer service department recommended I go to the store and discuss a possible discount. I went to the store on June 14th and they wanted me to discuss my issue with customer service. THEN I’m told the pieces that had already been received had been given to another customer since my full order was not in. I was told my order of two end tables, one side table, one coffee table and a TV stand all have different dates to arrive in the warehouse so the earliest possible delivery date would be the middle of September 2022. This is the second time I have had issues with Ashley Furniture. The first issue was similar, I order a recliner and before it was delivered the WAREHOUSE gave it to another customer even though I was scheduled for delivery of the item, couldn’t wait on another chair to come in because them item had been discontinued with Ashley. Took several weeks and many calls to get a refund. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ASHLEY FURNITURE TO ANYONE!

Really upset with our November purchase of a sectional. The saleswoman told us that the company would come out and clean the couch as many times as we wanted. She said they came out once a month to clean her own couch. That is the ONLY reason we paid the EXTRA 250+ dollars that we absolutely would not have spent considering that we have a new baby and that money would be better spent on diapers. When I called the company to come out, they informed me that they would only come out for specific stains and they only spot clean those stains... if the claim is even approved. We were absolutely misled and are very upset. Don't buy from this company! They lie to their customers and trick them into spending more money than is necessary.

PART ONE: A ZERO is more than they deserve! We went to the showroom on 12/31/21 and found exactly what we were looking for. It was listed as backordered so we asked how long and were told about "1 maybe 2 months". That salesman LIED directly to my face. Typical! After many phones calls, none from them updating me, we finally received our new couch last Saturday, 3.5 MONTHS later, and then there was no power cord for one of the recliners. SERIOUSLY?!? The delivery guys knew it was a problem and tried to get thru to their office, but no one ever answered the phone. They recommended that we go to the store ourselves, which we did. The staff there was helpful and opened a case indicating that on Monday (yesterday) someone would contact me. Crickets yesterday and today.
Stopped by today and bought two pillows the 3.0 and the 2.0 and the sales manager Justus Ortiz was the best, he was very knowledgeable and helpful when choosing the correct pillows for me and my wife thanks.
I highly recommend this location simply because our Sales rep was amazing! If you are looking for furniture ASK FOR BO! Bo is so knowledgeable, professional, personable and helpful. He kept us up to date on everything with our furniture order and even took the time to personally check in on the day it was delivered! We will definitely be shopping here again based on our experience.

The employees at the actual physical address in Athens were great, very helpful and nice. But Ashley's furniture as a company is by far the worst company I have ever worked with. My $2,000 couches were delivered damaged, the two guys that delivered them had just been hired and were terrible they broke my front door and outlet on my porch shoving the couches into my front door. By doing this it ripped the couches the love seat and the large couch. this was almost 7months ago AND I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY COUCHES REPLACED OR REPAIRED!! TWO TECHS HAVE BEEN OUT AND NONE OF THE CORRECT PIECES WERE ORDED. When you call Customer support you stay on hold for over a hour and they tell you that they'll send someone else out and that gets canceled or rescheduled several times. I wish so badly they would just give me my money back!

We purchased two sofas and two power rocker recliners when they arrived one of the sofas with missing one of the main cushions I understand it that things like this can happen but in all of the confusion that the missing cushion I failed to notice that two of the legs were bent on one of the power recliners until the next day I asked them to replace it with another one and they that they would send somebody out to fix it I told them that I didn’t want a damage chair I wanted a new one like I purchased and they said someone would contact me within 72 hours but no one ever did so I called back to the store to see if there were something they could do and the manager basically told me that his note said that I was supposed to send pictures and they were going to send someone out to fix it now a week has passed by now so I said OK I sent pictures and I still hadn’t heard from no one. So basically once they get your money you’re not important to them no more. Whatever you do don’t sign until you have it inspected it 100% because once you sign it it’s yours there’s basically no return policy even if it’s damage
I would go here ONLY if you're buying a new house worth of stuff. Their bundling discounts made them competitive with the little guys, but if I was just buying a sofa, I'd think twice..
Salesperson added on some bogus furniture insurance to the the tune of close to $500.Over charged on all items with out notice.Cancelled the order and then the next day they called and asked when a good day is for delivery.most totally unprofessional I have ever dealt with.We will keep our 15 year relationship with Badcock furniture intact.

Long post. THE WORST EXPERIENCE! Highly do not recommend anyone to go here! The staff is very rude and unprofessional when it comes to customer service. My experience has NOT at all been fun, exciting, or simple. I have been waiting on furniture since November. I completely understand the back order that’s going on right now. However, I was told that the two full sized mattresses and box springs were never on back order. I received my two full sized bed frames in November like I was told, but for some reason, my mattresses are continuing to be pushed back every single month. The store says that mattresses are in stock and are at the warehouse, the warehouse says that they are not in stock- even though the warehouse has called me to confirm my delivery and then changes it a few days before delivery is scheduled. Every time my delivery date changes, it’s pushed back a whole month! There is a huge problem between the store and the warehouse being on the same page. And the store workers, don’t give a single care. But I will say, Erwin from the store has done his best and been most helpful. But at the end of the day, it’s January and I STILL DO NOT have my two full sized mattresses and box springs that I paid for in NOVEMBER and was told that they were never ever on back order. I will NEVER purchase furniture from any Ashley Store, EVER AGAIN!
I could not UNrecommend them enough. They delivered the wrong foundation for my new mattress. It will not work with my bed...so here I am sleeping on the ground for over a week and cannot get a confirmation on the new delivery of my correct product.

My story starts in October we bought a King size bed they said they would call us to know when delivery is going to be made, thinking it was gonna be one week two weeks. We gave them time we called a month later to ask when it was going to be delivered they said it was backed up until January, we’re now in January and I called and they said it’s going to be backed up until March (maybe ).this is me calling them not them calling me to let me know when they’re going to deliver never buying here again
I bought a Sofa and Love Seat set a couple of days ago. I spent at least $2400.00 on it. So when it was delivered, I asked the movers to place it back on the truck because it was too big for my apartment. Neither the less, I called Asheley Furniture and told them about the situation. They declined to come back to pick it up and now I'm waiting for corporate to call me??? I just want an exchange or my money back please!
My husband and I had looked at a sofa online and went into the store to see if they happened to have a floor model. They didn't but they did have one that was similar in shape and another that was the same material so that we could compare. After telling the sales agent Paula that we didn't want a white sofa.....we found a white sofa that we really liked (lol). Priced it out and was perfect, then told Paula before we finalized the deal I wanted to look around just to "make sure". And sure enough, we found the sofa that we ended up purchasing. It was perfect! Met our needs, our wants, and frankly. our desires for a sofa. Even added a section to it to make it a little longer. I cannot wait to get it! The entire process was painless. It always amuses me that when we go shopping we don't plan on buying anything, and there is NO PRESSURE from the Ashley Homestore personnel, but damn we always end up making a purchase when we go to Ashley. So long story short: great sofa, wonderful sales person, and their products are always high quality.
This is the worse Ashley Furniture Store there is! We want months for our furniture and we got it on black Friday of this year. My 22 week pregnant wife lays down and the bed frame breaks! Could have easily been hurt and the customer service has failed to help us. They keep promsing there coming to get the bed frame and refund us and never do. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE IN Athens GA
Sorry for the long post and extended rant. So after 3 months of waiting for our furniture to be delivered , our furniture arrived yesterday. My wife and I were so excited. Our children have been sleeping on the floor since we moved into our new house since 1 Sept. T he movers were excellent and very professional. So here’s the glitch. After assembling the dining room table, the movers turned the table over to set it up on its legs. Immediately after turning it upright the leaf fell off with a thud!! See attached photos. Looks like the wood was sparsely glued and screws barely penetrated the wood. I received a call from the dispatcher stating they would get a new table on its way. To top it off the email we received the day after asking us to reschedule had zero dates for December available and no choice for any months going forward. The whole experience from start to finish has been horrible. I never complained until after 2 months we were prompted to give a review of the partial order we received. Needless to say after reading the review we received a follow up from management stating they would resolve the problem. We were given some dates in late Oct early November which came and went. When we called we kept getting the run around. We will NEVER buy Ashley furniture again

Ashley furniture in oconee county GA has the worst customer service of anywhere or anyone I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I bought a mattress and bed frame from them and was told there is a 120 day comfort guarantee to return for my money back. It was delivered to my home, the mattress was not in a box nor was it covered with plastic or anything and the delivery person dropped it and the bed frame on my sidewalk. It put scuff marks on the mattress that you can clearly see. I called Ashley furniture 4 days later to set up a return and was put on hold for over 2 hours and didn’t get to speak to anyone. I called the salesperson directly and was told to come in the store the next weekend and he could help us. When we go to the store they didn’t help us with a return instead told us that the corporate office will contact us within 48 hours. We waited an entire week before we were contacted by email and they only asked us to send pictures of the mattress. I emailed them and someone called a couple of days later to schedule a technician to come look at the mattress. It was scheduled for a week and a half later and I was told that someone would call me the day before to tell me the time they would come. No one ever called and the day the tech was suppose to come no one ever showed up. I took a whole day off work to stay home for nothing. After waiting all day for someone to come, I tried calling the corporate office and was on hold for 20 minutes before and automated voice said I was caller 150 in line and to continue to hold or call back later. REALLY who has time for this? I tried calling the store that sold me the mattress to be put on hold again, then told the store manager was at lunch at 4 in the afternoon. I called back 30 minutes later to be told that the store manager still wasn’t it and I asked for the office manager and was told he was busy as well. I mean this is completely unacceptable for a business to treat there customers this way. Ive now been trying to return the mattress for 43 days now. Ive spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this store and have always bought my furniture here and to be treated like this is crazy. I will never buy anything else from Ashley furniture ever again.
i was told delivery and 5 year warrantee was included in the price of the furniture and then they added over $800 to the price. I have emailed phone sales & left message for local rep i was working with this past Sunday. No reply as of this post. Up to 6 months wait time. Pay now & wait for 4 to 6 months for delivery. Update- After a call for the store manager (Tarika Campbell) this issues was resolved. I have change the rating from 1 to 4.
Reggie was the most professional and easiest sales person we met during our shopping experience. We looked for a living room set at several stores in Athens and Buford and he made our experience as easy as it could have been. We have already referred other family members to him who are looking for furniture. It was also wonderful to be able to find something we liked and it be available within a week.
The selection of items was great. The prices were lowered due to holiday savings. The rep was courteous and knowledgeable. The store location was within a reasonable mileage range. I would recommend this store.

I ordered a couch online on August 24 for door step delivery. My original delivery date was September 24. I received an email stating that the delivery could be completed sooner, so I moved the delivery date to today, September 14. I received another email offering for the delivery to be completed on September 11. I kept my delivery date of the 14th. Received multiple confirmation emails and texts and scheduled a time for them to come between 8:30am-12:30. Received a call from dispatch at 11 stating that the couch is actually back ordered until October 24. I am extremely frustrated because I don’t understand how this was just being communicated to me the day of the delivery after being provided several opportunities to receive it earlier and after having placed the order almost a month ago. Went to call the store to make sure my order could be cancelled and was on hold for 25 minutes. This company is sorely lacking communication and customer service skills in my experience. Really disappointing experience, definitely won’t be returning.
The store associates were polite, however, I feel that they were not truthful about the actual delivery dates of items. I ordered a couch on July 18th, and was told it would be delivered 4 to 8 weeks later. I called the store a few weeks after for a delivery update was was given a delivery date of September 6th. On September 4th, I called to confirm the delivery was taking place on the 6th, as I had been told multiple times. I was told the couch would not be delivered on September 6th but rather on September 26th and now October 2nd. There is no delivery tracking service and no one seems to know for sure when items will be delivered. Good luck buying from this store!

I was trying to place an online order & was having difficulty with the doorstep delivery option, so I called the store. A sales associate named Reggie helped me place the order. Within 15 minutes I received a call from the corporate office to complete payment. The entire experience was easy & efficient.
The Athens store and associate were great. But it has been over three weeks since I was originally told my furniture would be delivered and it keeps being delayed. Now it won't arrive until the end of the month. I canceled my order and hope no one else is in the same boat. A month later after canceling and STILL no refund.I have spent so much time trying to call and get someone to help me but getting a hold of a representative is impossible. This has been the most frustrating experience.
I recently bought a new home and decided to use Ashley Furniture to furnish it. Worst experience ever! 3 months later and we are still waiting on the remainder of our furniture. You can't get through to the store with issues. You have to go through the corporate number first. I had a 700.00 dollar credit and was told I could go to the store to buy anything else I needed. I go to the store in Athens GA and picked out 2 more things I needed for the house only to be told they didn't see my credit. They told me they would get with corporate and call me the next day on a Monday. You guessed it NO PHONE call. I called corporate and they put me through to the store and I spoke with someone else who was suppose to call me back and again no call. Finally on the third day of me calling I got the issue resolved. I have spent 9,000.00 on new furniture there and absolutely no customer service. On my way out of the store I heard a sales rep talking about me to her coworkers! So unprofessional! She could have waited until I was gone! Buyers beware!
Do not purchase any warranty from this company. The contractor (GSE) will find any reason to deny a claim ask the same question 20 times and manipulate what you tell them to fit their narrative. Have been trying to get a repair done for over a year to have a technician sent out and be told we have to order parts then be ignored and hung up on multiple times. Called in again today and because of the claims age it's being denied and the thousands of dollars of furniture which was supposed to be covered against ALL damage even "children damaging it intentionally with a knife or fork" being the verbage used by the sales person is being denied. The only repair which was received but poorly executed is now being denied for repair because they refused to follow up with me to actually correct the poor job in the first place. Take your business elsewhere... You'll thank me later.
Went and paid for a couch in full was told all the items were in stock and set a delivery date. The sales associate was extremely nice and non pushy as I made my decisions, but ever since then I have been rescheduled 3 times and when I call to get answers I just keep getting the run around with different reasons, and the customer service reps are not understanding that I have to work and now have missed work 3 times because of this. At this point I will be canceling my order and taking my business elsewhere.

This has nothing to do with the employees at this location but it has a lot to do with delivery and the distribution center and their lack of knowledge about people's orders. They tell me finally after 3 months ill receive my bar stools but when the delivery finally arrives for the second time around they are trying to pick up bar stools they already picked up when they delivered my replacement dining set. When am I going to get my bar stools that I paid for, the way they are operating probably never. At this point I just want a full refund because this is ridiculous. And I still haven't received any information about when my sofa and chairs will be delivered. My husband said after we'll never shop at Ashley Furniture ever again.

We paid for 13 items on April 17th and were told at that time that 10 pieces were in stock and the other 3 could take up to 6 weeks. When 6 weeks arrived we were then told that 3 pieces were still on backorder and our delivery was delayed. 10 weeks went by and they kept delaying our order. Each time they would tell us that different pieces were on backorder. The store manager told us that the pieces we paid for did not actually belong to us and they would fill other orders with our pieces until our order was completely on stock. The problem is when you keep pulling from my order then how does my order ever become complete. At the 12 week mark we called the Athens store and were told that nothing was in stock.. We told the store manager that we would be at the store the next Saturday for a refund. Then on that Tuesday I got a text from Ashley telling me my delivery had been scheduled for that Thursday. I called the delivery scheduler to see what was going on. They told me everything was in stock. That Thursday I got a call before our delivery to tell me that our sectional was on backorder. They delivered 8 pieces that day. We called Clinton on the following Monday and requested a refund on the remaining pieces. He said he would work that up and call us back. We are still waiting on that call. On 7/21 we got him on the phone at 6:30 pm and he put us on hold. We waited 45 minutes on hold and he never came back to the phone. I called back and the store was closed. I have purchased at least 15k from Ashley in my life. This will be my last purchase. I feel like they have lied to us throughout this process. They constantly lied about my delivery date. NOBODY IN CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ON THE SAME PAGE AS FAR AS MY ACCOUNT GOES. How?? Idk. A delivery truck came to my house on the same day & the same time my delivery was scheduled, unloaded the truck, then realized they were at the wrong house & said they didn’t have a delivery for me!!! Well HOW was my address in your system??? I got the run around for 2 months while I was 8 months pregnant & had to sleep on the floor. The associates at the Athens, Ga location were completely useless!!! Very ghetto. I do not recommend.

Ordering furniture from Ashley has been a nightmare. I had damaged furniture delivered. I was told all pieces would come together, but when crew showed up to deliver they told me there were missing a piece due to back order. No one informed me. Replacement delivery dates were rescheduled numerous times, often without letting me know. I was told I could have pieces picked up if I was not happy. I have requested items to be picked up since the set isn’t complete. I cannot get anyone from the local Athens store, customer service, or management to solve this problem. Management from the store told me the only way to get help would be to write a review. Seriously?! Come Ashley. You can do better. Terrible experience. Terrible customer service. Worse communication. CEO Todd Wanek, is this the way you run a company?
So, purchase experience was great. Loved the sales floor person we had, if I was just rating that, 5 stars hands down! We purchase quite a few pcs, they were up front in telling us that there was a back order on a few pcs. May be 8-12 weeks. When we did finally get it, we loved it. In all, delivery was rescheduled twice: We purchased and One month went by with no communication on delivery timing. So we called. I talked with 3 people and they finally agreed that it would be delivered on 5/17, still a month out. But we expected the delay so no problem except the lack of follow up. On 5/16 we removed all the old furniture. On 5/17 it was a no call, no show. So I called and they said it was scheduled on 6/10 (how was I to know?) So now with no furniture, the wait was on. The week before they rescheduled again to 6/24. We purchased on 3/27 we received it on 6/24. Big opportunity for improvement is communication to the customer after the purchase til delivery. Not happy with that part.

We had a great experience shopping at Ashley's Home Store in Athens, Georgia. We were greeted as we walked in but allowed to walked around without being pressured or harassed by over enthusiastic sale associates. When I had a question it was easy to find someone (Jason) to help us. Jason was knowledgeable about the inventory and shipping/delivery and very helpful as we walked him all over the store asking questions. We were very impressed with Jason. We will ask for him for any future furniture needs and recommend you do as well. .

Went to the Ashley HomeStore in Athens for the first time via an appointment. Kayla was the representative helping me find the perfect mattress. She did a fantastic job navigating my criteria until we finally settled on a great find. Kayla’s excellent customer service is then what propelled me to look for a couch and loveseat for our new home. Not wanting to decide until I came home and talked with the hubs, I was able to circle back with Kayla who then placed the phone order for me. Not only was the customer service great, but this is a beautiful store that artistically features furniture in ways that inspires my creative side! Give it a go - make an appointment online and ask for Kayla!
So far our experience has not been very good. We made a purchase at the Athens store on 4/24. The sales rep was very helpful in setting everything up. Said 3-6 weeks for delivery and we would be notified when it was scheduled. All good. Four weeks goes by with no word. I called the store to find that they had a. Automated voice service. Following the prompts to speak with customer service a recording comes on that says “due to high call volume, we cannot take your call at this time” and hangs up. I get this same response on 4-5 calls over the next few days. I e-mail the sales rep twice and get no response. Call corporate and get a voice mail to which I get no return call. Two weeks ago I finally get an agent on their online text chat that tells me delivery will be 6/12. Today I get an e-mail say sing it is delayed to 6/24. That will be 9 weeks after purchase. I again get ahold of an agent who explains the delays and said I should have been notified by the store for all updates. I understand there are shortages and disruptions but there is zero excuse for poor customer service. Returning a call or responding to an e-mail takes little time and having your phone line set to hang up on a customer instead of taking their call is just plan sad. This will likely be the last time I purchase from this location solely based on the lack of communication and poor customer service after purchase.

We ordered and paid for two recliners from the Athens, GA store on April 1, 2021. we were told by the salesman, Matt that the chairs would be delivered April 13th. Matt texted me a new delivery date of April 20th. We then started getting voicemails with new delivery dates of April 26th, May 11th, May 26th, and today we got a new date of June 15th. This has to be the WORST customer service ever. I strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase from Ashley to go any where else. If you do purchase there I hope you actually get your furniture sooner than the two and half months we will have to wait. We a have no guarantee we will get the recliners on June 15th. F rating and Zero stars.
Great experience! Bo was so helpful and got us a great deal on both a mattress and dresser for our bedroom. I highly recommend stopping in and asking for his assistance. He wasn’t pushy like some furniture reps I’ve experienced before, just friendly and accommodating! Two thumbs up!

Pretty much get one star due to the fact, our sales person said the items we wanted were back ordered but shouldn’t be more than 6 weeks. And when they did have it in stock, delivery date is a month out. Now out of stock again and Date keeps getting pushed back. Going on 4 months now.... no furniture. So buy here if you need furniture by the years end I guess. Update 06/14: just got another official notice of our delivery date put back until end of July. So really looking like until the end of the year. Buyers beware. Also no sign of a gift card or attempt from a Ashley home furniture employee to contact other than this Google review. Update 7/17: surprise, surprise. Ashley called again to inform us that our delivery is pushed out until august, for some reason even though these people say our furniture is not in stock. We screen shot the website last week showing that our furniture was indeed in stock. Needless to say, we canceled our order. Absolutely done with this company, never again and will make sure the word is spread. Going on 7 months, We’ve been patient but this is absolutely ridiculous. And the whole nice guy gift card routine….. never came in the mail. Hope this helps anyone considering where to buy furniture, I certainly regret it.

We were not planning on purchasing anything today, but our experience with our salesman Irwin was so good that we decided to buy the furniture we had our eye on. He was so great, listened to what we were looking for, was patient with us as we made our decision, and then gave us a good deal on our purchases. Overall, I would definitely recommend asking for Irwin when you visit this store!
My wife & I have spent considerable time at the Athens GA Ashley’s. They have provide superior furnishings .... service by Jason & Paula made the experience wonderful! We would have made it “Perfect” had the delivery company been more efficient.
This place has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I wish I could give zero stars. It takes forever for them to answer phones and sometimes they will hang up. I ordered a couch and the delivery driver did not give me a sufficient time notice. He called me when he was 7 minutes away and said he wouldn't wait. When I rescheduled they said it will take another MONTH to get my couch. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. They still have not given me the refund I asked for 2 weeks later nor have they canceled the order. I have to keep calling their terrible customer service line. Please save your money, time, and energy. This is not the professional place it appears to be.
My husband and I had a great experience with purchasing a tempur-pedic mattress at this store. Our associate Reggie jumped through, what seemed to be, a million hoops for us today to get us exactly what we wanted for a very good price. The entire team of employees showed exceptional customer service. We are very happy that we chose to shop with them today.

Terika Campbell, the store manager, does not honor prices her staff quotes, and won’t even honor gift cards from Ashley Homestore. Terika doesn’t take accountability for her employees, or their mistakes and doesn’t care about customer service. Buyer beware, if you have a gift card , they won’t honor it, so don’t waste your time here. Shop where the business cares, she doesn’t. We ordered furniture almost two months in advance and She literally said “it’s not my fault” when my wife’s birthday furniture was sold out from under us by her, because she had a customer that wanted it sooner and they didn’t want it to wait in the warehouse for an extra 5 weeks...I guess some people’s money is worth more that others...unacceptable business practices. Look at their BBB ratings, it’s a 2.3 no surprise.

Edited to add: this review is a reflection of our entire experience shopping with Ashley, not specifically the salesman. I post two stars because the salesman, Matt, was nice and he was helpful when helping us choose what would work best for us. My husband and I purchased a mattress set from Ashley Furniture in January. It took almost 3 weeks for delivery and costed an additional $75 than originally told. Strike 1. We made a down payment and financed the rest with Great American Finance through Ashley Furniture. However the balance was $140 higher than it should’ve been according to our receipt. I contacted our salesman, Matt but received no reply. Sooo strike 2. We made the first payment a day early and was told (after the due date) that our method of payment wasn’t accepted. We paid with visa debit gift cards gifted by Ashley and was told it could be applied to our balance. Ehhh, WRONG! So then we were charged $67 in interest on our “interest free” loan. Strike 3. When I called to discuss this with GAF, they wouldn’t speak to me because my husbands name is on the account. However there were terrible mistakes when inputting our info. They have HIS name but are using MY social security number!!! This account is shown on my credit report but not his. But they still won’t talk to ME. Strike 4. When he authorized them to speak to me, we were told that the interest fee would be waived and our demographics corrected. Fast forward to this month. We make our payment one week early and we’re charged $86 in interest! I called today and spoke with a representative that wasn’t AT ALL accommodating and kept explaining that again, she couldn’t speak to me bc my name wasn’t the one on the account. After I explained several times what happened last month, she told me there was nothing recorded in their system with this information and she still couldn’t speak to me. Strike 5. My experience with Ashley and GAF has basically been nothing but a headache. I will probably not shop here again bc everything was so inconvenient. But I def think Ashley should offer financing companies that aren’t total crooks. After looking them up in google, they have nothing but terrible reviews.

My wife and I have made several purchases from this location. This time my wife who is also pregnant, was home alone for the delivery. The delivery people took the old mattress and brought in the new bed and told her they would move the adjustable base we had for the old mattress into the garage. After completing everything but that one task they then pulled her to the side and said they couldn't move that unless she paid them $20 each and proceeded to demand she pay them with cash app. After she refused they asked if they could follow her to an atm instead. This whole interaction made her very uncomfortable considering she was home alone, but it was also extremely rude and unprofessional. On top of that most companies have policies about not asking customers for side payments. When they were leaving they just left the adjustable base laying on the new bed. Google says that model base weighs 550 lbs which is hard for one person to move much less a pregnant woman. A manager at the store who said he "used to manage a moving company" told my wife that since she was pregnant if she asked nicely they would move it for her. She decided to call the manager to give them a chance to solve the issue and the manager Tarika was extremely rude and dismissive. When I returned home my wife wanted to go to the store and talk to them. We ended up talking to the manager Tarika again and she acted like we were either lying or putting an inconvenience on the delivery guys and her attitude conveyed absolutely zero acknowledgement that anything wrong happened whatsoever. The customer service staff in the back seemed a little bit more sympathetic about the situation but had no solution for the issue. We were told we would be called back in 2-3 hours and never were. I highly recommend to stay as far away from this location as possible. Unless you are 100% confident your transaction will have 0 problems it seems once they have sold something to you they are done with you. Worst customer service I have received at any business. Tarika should not be a manager anywhere much less in customer service at all. Look at the other recent reviews rather than the overall. Clearly a change was made at some point and it wasn't for the better, if I had to guess it would be the addition of Tarika to management.

So I was looking into purchasing furniture from this store after watching the TV commercials, for three rooms in my new home until I looked at the reviews. There was seemingly an ongoing pattern of consumers buying furniture and not receiving it for weeks and when they actually received it,, some documented reported damage to the product, but what spoke most to me was the silence in response to all of these complaints. I will keep looking.

Horrible, despicable company. Waiting over 5 months for a sofa that was paid in full. NOBODY cares, not the store or the delivery company. Finally got a call back that put the delivery date back another 30 days. Guy says quote “there is no excuse I can give you”. Look at the reviews, the 5 stars are mostly fake and look at all of the bad ones, same story. No delivery and empty promises. Trust me and do yourself a favor, do not buy anything at Ashley Furniture.

The only reason I'm giving this terrible company two stars is the sales staff at the Athens store is great. The rest of the experience has been the worst in my life. I have had some difficult experiences in the past with other purchase, but this company takes the cake. I have been fighting with them to deliver my furniture for weeks. I ordered the couch on January 4th and they continue to push my purchase back. Now, they have pushed it beyond a surgery date I have scheduled, so I guess to recover from surgery, I'll just lay on the floor. Do not buy from this company if you want furniture anytime this year.

Delivering items should be delivered when they are supposed to be delivered! If items are supposed to be delivered in December I shouldn't have to wait till MARCH to get my items!!!! And even if the items are on back order I should be kept informed NOT me having to call each time my fake new delivery date passes to find out its been changed! This store is horrible and so is the customer service!!!
On September 6th we bought almost $4000 worth of furniture and paid in full. Delivery was scheduled for 6 WEEKS later and we should have canceled the order then but didn’t. It is now February 2nd and the loveseat we bought is still not here. We were told dates in Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan and now they say March 2nd. Store manager is NO help. The delivery service is so incompetent it’s incredible, now when you call the number a recorded message says “technical difficulties call back later”. NEVER buy anything from this company, DISGUSTING! Seriously thinking about picketing outside the location to warn anyone who is thinking about buying from them. 1 star is way too good.
Horrible customer service. I bought sofa and loveseat. When delivered January 26 a wooden slat in sofa was broken. Delivery person took pic and called customer service and was told they would contact me to schedule repair tech. I called store and was told March 6 tech will come. Again, delivery was Jan 26. Store would not even discuss options about the brand new, BROKEN sofa sitting in my living room until after tech comes...over a month from now. Absolutely terrible customer service

Literally been the biggest nightmare to work with. We ordered our furniture in September- they told us it would be 6-8 weeks before we deliver. I understand that with covid things are slower. But they know that when we made our purchase they didn’t have any of the items in stock. They took our money- around 6 weeks I called Them and they basically told me they didn’t have the items and were sure when they would have it. After talking to the manager and the sales staff they tried to sell us more items that weren’t in stock to replace the ones we ordered. Finally 2 months later we got word that they were delivering our furniture. I took off work and waited for them on the date they told me to, they never showed up. I called the store ans they acted like they knew nothing about it, 3 more months later we got part of our bedroom furniture still waiting in a lot of pieces. I understand covid has put a stop in alotnof plans, but being honest about when things are arriving ans what they have in stock would have been the best policy. Would NEVER buy from Them again
would give 0 star if I could. The sale rep and customer service at store are nice, but the delivery is horrible. My orders are pushed back again and again, and two weeks to the Christmas, and they push my delivery again after holiday. Who's gonna know will they push my order to next year. It's 2 month since I placed the order, and I'm still waiting. Unbelievable
Would not let us pick up our sofa love seat one week after we paid cash for it. Refused to deliver it. They were more worried about who's fault is was than actually helping a customer. Spoke with the store manager and she could have cared less. Our stuff was still on the showroom floor A WEEK after we paid for it! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever experienced.

I decided to stop in to Ashley HomeStore for the first time today...I am so glad I did! All of the staff I encountered were helpful, personable, and just pleasant. The layout of the store was enjoyable to wander through, and I found a terrific rug for a price you cannot beat. Bo (Beau?) cleared all of the furniture off of the rug, rolled it up, hoisted it on his shoulder and walked it out to my car. Thank you so much!! I was very impressed with this "shopping experience!"
Don't buy the warranty. Warranty voids if you move, which we do. Warranty doesn't transfer if you decide to sell it. No refunds. Make sure you like before you buy. Otherwise I'm disappointed in the quality of Ashley. My advice is to keep looking.
My husband and I started shopping for furniture a few months ago and we started at Ashley, Irwin was our saleman, after our first trip there we decided we did not need to shop around. Irwin was such a fantastic salesman and answered any and every question we had. He had us lay on the mattresses to pick the best one for us. He invited us to sit and try out the furniture we were interested in purchasing. We finally made the final decision yesterday (11/15/20) and went ahead with our purchase. A huge thank you to Irwin for going above and beyond to help us, and also tl Dee the manager. I would always recommend those two guys. Awesome people and awesome service!!

BUYER BEWARE!!v We purchased a couple of tables the 4th of October from the Athens GA location and waited almost three weeks for the tables to arrive. Signed for the delivery and I started to assemble said tables. Missing parts, white paint marks all over like a charcoal color table. Called Ashley and was asked to send pictures of the damage, I did while I was on the phone with the lady. Exchange was approved, should here something back within 24 to 48 hours, nothing called back talked to Travis, nice guy, put in for a refund. Again wait 24 to 48 hours, nothing, called back and talked to Devin, completely didn't care what the issue is, Ashley does not do refunds if purchase was made in the store. Not what warranty states at all on the website. Devin was the rudest person that I ever spoke with about anything. Anyways the point is, if you buy anything from Ashley Home furnishings don't sign for it until it's put together weather you are putting it together or they are, once its signed for there is no warranty! BUYER BEWARE
Couch took 8 weeks to be delivered, and was delivered damaged. Took another two weeks for a technician to be sent out to take a look, snap a pic, and disappear. A few days later in the mail I am sent a package with some replacement part - and it's obviously for the wrong part of the couch. I've been on the phone trying to contact the store for the past two hours and every person I talk to either hangs up on me or doesn't know how to help me. I'm about to drive to the store and cause some drama because this is unacceptable. I was told at the time of damaged delivery that I would be getting an exchange, and I followed the proper channels for that. Buyer beware. Edit: went to the store, they recognized their error, and are setting up an exchange. Bumping this to three stars because the furniture is great, but the customer service (on phone) and delivery are AWFUL. Order at your own risk.

First I would like to Thank Ms. Paula Lagos for her excellent customer service. She made me feel very welcome. She was very professional and polite. OAN: the one star is for the poor delivery service. I wa rescheduled twice and today I was given the time frame between 11:15-3:15. When I called customer service all i received "I'm sorry" after taking time off from work and sitting in the house all day waiting. Then I was told that delivery was a little behind and I asked, why didn't they call me and let me know instead of having me sit around waiting on them all day. I tried to speak with a manager to just cancel the order and no way are you going to speak with a manager. I called the local store where i made this purchase and was put on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and called again and was put on hold for over 15 minutes. I was then told by a recording that someone would call me back within 24-48 hours. I wish i could give them a 0(zero) for customer service and delivery. This is the WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED FROM A COMPANY! I had ordered furniture before for my daughter in Texas and had great service. I don't believe I will be ordering anything else from this company unless they can give me some kind of satisfaction for wasting my time and my day. Which I seriously doubt.
Selection is good but service is horrible. We have tried to work with 4 different members of their team, 1 of which seemed to be a manager. Everything took much longer than it should and now we have spent several hours and phone calls simply attempting to cancel 1 order and check a delivery date for another. For some reason these things seem to be an impossible task for the employees.
Shopping is good. Delivery is very slow.
Caroline at Ashely Furniture was a great help in finding items that would fit our space parameters for a sofa and sleeper option. She was friendly and fair. She was thorough and knew her inventory. Covid-19 is the only negative as we are not sure when some items will be available or delivered but we know this is no fault of hers or Ashley furniture’s. We have hopes our items will come and we will be patient while we wait.
So terrible!! No way!! 2 ladies at the desk are not wearing masks!! Even though they require masks at the store. I had to talk with them. Their boss never scold them. Bad manners!!!

NEVER consider this store! My daughter and I bought an entire bedroom set, expensive new mattress, beautiful big wood desk on July 28th. We understood the delay in delivery due to COVID an accepted Aug. 21 delivery. Since that time, delivery has been changed 5 times now. Communication has been non-existent, but the biggest issue have been the flat out LIES from Clinton and others in the store. We were told on Sept. 15th ALL of her furniture was in except the mattress and would be delivered today, 18th. I finally stepped in an told them this was unacceptable and they found a mattress for her that could be delivered with the rest of the items today. She even had to go to the store, sign new paperwork that day. Yesterday she was notified the mattress nor desk would be in this delivery. There "simply wasn't room on the delivery truck". I explained we were promised, reminded them of the Tuesday fiasco where she went into the store to sign for the new mattress and was assured again of delivery today. Today, she received only a bedframe and chest of drawers. NO mattress she was promised, NO desk she was promised, NO nightstand. TWO MONTHS and no place to sleep or study. She has been on an air mattress and used a Walmart folding table to study. The LIES, shifting stories, terrible communication are unacceptable! They want your $ and once they get it, there is no care or consideration. No follow through or concern as to if you ever get the furniture. RUN, stay away! Management is terrible and has NO care for the customer.

I bought a simple bed for my daughter they said it would be delivered one month later. My thought was it's busy covid got people spending money I was good with it. I got several conformations for a particular day and time frame so we made arrangements for someone to be home. They came outside of there time frame like 6 hours difference. we got it handled met the truck at the house three guys jump out one jumps in comes out with one box (Full bed frame only) and no headboard.I paid for delivery and in home assembly. So we call the athens store to try to figure this out when the headboard was coming they wouldn't answer the phone for customer service but by way they will answer on about the second ring for sales. Well we get told it will be another month before another headboard could be delivered. I said I want the one I ordered a month ago with the frame. That didn't happen. Month later same number of calls and text same arrangements made to be at home again came way later than their time frame they stated.Another day of work was lost due to waiting for the second time. One guy jumps out brings a box in the house and starts assembly. He steps out and says we got a problem I can't attach the headboard to the frame course they didn't send (the hardware) bolts. Month 2 has gone by now since the purchase date and still no complete bed and not in home assembled. Went to the athens store in person with paper work in hand mad. Got another delivery date for the bolts, same spill confirmed delivery, they show up with another headboard and no bolts. Then we get told that Ashley furniture doesn't supply the hardware. So I put them on my list of buisnesses that I don't have to spend my money at and went and got bolts myself and finished what I paid for so my daughter could have her new bed.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. This is on numerous occasions not just one. Have been lied to numerous times over the phone, difficult to reach anyone by phone. Had to file a complaint with the BBB to get anything accomplished. Do not shop there very unprofessional.
We had a great experience working with Caroline! She made our furniture buying experience so easy and she went over everything that we ordered to make sure the ordering process was done correctly. She is a very detail-oriented person and my husband and I highly recommend her as a sales person! The other great thing that we love about Ashley Furniture is the delivery process. They send you texts ahead of time to confirm your delivery and on the day of the delivery they will send you a text to tell you what number you are in the order of deliveries, so you can check throughout the day to see about when they will do your delivery!
I worked with Irwin when purchasing our sectional. He was extremely polite and friendly, but not overbearing. He was extra accommodating and even came in on his day off so that I could purchase the sectional. I understand he works on commission, but it wasn't a huge purchase, yet he still made that effort. Will definitely go back for our furniture needs.
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!! Customer service is horrible, I’ve never met a “Store manager” that never WORKS OR A ASSISTANT MANAGER THAT ISN’T TRAINED TO DO ANYTHING! I purchased furniture in May and received 1 of 8 pieces, 1 week ago !! I wasn’t informed of ANYTHING unless I was calling EVERY customers service number I found online ( which wasn’t helpful at ALL). Every other week, my purchase was being pushed back, cancelled, rescheduled etc! Nothing was credited back to my account I mean this was Literally the worst experience ever! And to think IM STILL WAITING ON THE REMAINING pieces to my order, which again is now PUSHED BACK UNTIL OCTOBER!! NEVER AGAIN !! This company would never get my services, money or time again! Take it from someone who has been waiting on purchased furniture for over 14wks, Don’t waste your time either.

Disclaimer. Long but honest post. This was absolutely the worst furniture buying experience ever! We called Sunday afternoon to see if the Ashley Athens store had a particular bar stool in stock. Spoke with Mareisha, as well as the store manager, Dimitri, or “D”, who promptly told us that, for the “best customer service and delivery”, we needed to purchase in store. He himself said that Ashley delivery/transport was “notorious for not showing up on time, customer having to wait weeks for deliveries”, etc. said all that could be avoided if ordered in person, that he and the Athens store could “run interference with any delivery issues”. And we fell for that garbage, drove 1.5 hours one way, were met by both employees, ordered and paid for the 3 bar stools, and, since we needed ASAP, D confirmed with warehouse in East Point the stools were in stock, and that we could pick up that Tuesday, 2 days later. Even states all of that on our invoice!Prior to leaving for the 2 hour drive one way to East Point warehouse for pickup on Tuesday, 7/28, we tried calling to again confirm stools in stock, and that we were on our way, as instructed. After attempting for one hour to get an answer, and taking off work to drive down, and having a truck to pick up, we were told by a very rude employee by phone (finally) the stools were NOT IN STOCK! We then called D back, relayed above, he called warehouse, said he confirmed in stock, and confirmed Ashley would deliver to US today, 7/30. D also said we should expect a call 7/29 with 4 hour window time of delivery. The call came in less than 2 hours later, same day! Missed the call, by less than 1.5 minutes, VM they left VERY rude, “you didn’t take call, delivery cancelled”. Called that warehouse # back immediately, after speaking with 3 additional staff, and 2 hours later, a supervisor even tried to email and call warehouse (no response to her calls either) to try and resolve. But that same supervisor said all showed delivery 7/30, expect call to confirm on 7/29. We called Athens store back late yesterday, 7/29, since we had not received the warehouse call. This time, spoke with “Clinton”, who said he was another store Mgr, would not let me speak with “D”, but said “he’s standing right here”. Explained all, Clinton actually stated there was nothing he could do, stools now could not be DELIVERED to us until after 8/17!!!! Completely unacceptable! We both spoke with him, he literally did NOT care or even try and resolve, until we threatened BBB. He then changed his story, said stools were indeed in East Point warehouse, had been all along, but they would not deliver, we had to pick up. He also offered us a $50 in store credit for “all the confusion”. Are you kidding??? We will NEVER shop that store again, lied to from day one! Side note: we drove the 2 hour one way drive today, picked up stools. Met another couple picking up their furniture, and this was their 3rd time to attempt complete pick up of all pieces. Since ordering in APRIL! (Missing parts, busted pieces, even missing pieces. Warehouse worker even confirmed all). So if you want the worst furniture buying experience ever, want to be lied to not once but multiple times, want to be talked down to and or talked to very rudely, then by all means shop Ashley furniture. Especially the Athens store!! On a rating scale, I wouldn’t give them a minus 10!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We purchased stools from the Athens, Ga. store. We went online then called and spoke with the manager “D”. He recommended we drive down to use his store so there would be no problem with delivery. He lied. We had nothing but lies told to us by every employee (5 total) with whom we spoke. Nobody knew anything and it was always somebody else’s fault.

My husband and I came in to buy a new bedroom set as well as shop around for a new mattress. Stephanie Eisenhart was phenomenal! We came in knowing what sets we liked and she helped us find them with no problems. We were not sure what kind of mattress we wanted but she asked us questions to help figure out what exactly we liked and ended up showing us our dream mattress! Stephanie worked really hard to get the prices down and into our budget! She also planned for our delivery and made that process incredibly smooth. I would recommend her to anyone coming in! We are so happy with our experience at Ashley :)
Worst service I have ever experienced, bought a simple bed headboard and frame. After they came out 2 times still had a bed in pieces. Made a store visit associate assured us the bolts would be delivered and they would get it assembled, nope. They delivered another headboard. Being told today they don't supply the bolts. What if I was disabled or elderly ?

The buying experience was good, but I waited more that 3 months to get the things we bought. I called them many times, and they didn't help me at all. Totally different experience I got from Rooms to GO and Georgia furniture! We just waited less than one week to get our stuff.
Awful experience with Ashley Furniture and I do my best to never leave a negative review. My wife tried for two days to get in contact to find out if they had a specific set of furniture on the showroom so we could see it. Spent hours on hold. Finally reached someone and was told they had to transfer us to someone else. Spent more time on hold. The item was no longer in stock by the time we decided to try and drive around and find a store that had it. Back to square one.
Myreisha was so kind and helpful in helping us pick out some new furniture. The experience was amazing and super easy - definitely recommend to anyone looking for great deals and high quality furniture.
No stars for Ashley Furniture Homestore. Their customer service is deplorable. It is impossible to talk to anyone who can help you via the phone. Plus they are not willing to help you. They don&'t want to &"make right&" their cheap, poorly made furniture and they will cancel your credit card if you call and complain too much. My advice: shop ANYWHERE else! But if you buy from Ashley, then spend the extra money on the extended warranty - believe me, it&'s money well spent, because you will use it! I will NEVER AGAIN buy from Ashley Furniture Homestore. My husband and I were in the market for a new bedroom suite and headed up to Ashley’s. We were immediately greeted upon arrival by Myreisha. There couldn’t have been a more warm welcome. We described exactly what we wanted and she showed us several options. She was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and made the buying process easier than I could have ever imagined! We've been using Stephanie as our representative. She is absolutely wonderful. She's been great helping us with refurnishing our whole home. She had great ideas and was more than happy to help. Very nice and bubbly. She was a Saint to work with. Some of the things we decided to purchase.
I bought a recliner in March of this year and here it is June & I'm needing it repaired yet again. FIRST TIME WAS ONLY 2 WKS I HAD RECEIVED IT. This will make the 4th or 5th time I need a tech to come & repair my recliner. I'm on a fixed INCOME so the only good thing about this purchase is the warranty. It's gotten to the point where I can't even get someone on the phone.They say due to call volume the wait time is longer. If they didn't sell junk then call volume wouldn't be so high. Their show room is set up so beautiful. I'm guessing maybe its because their furniture is horrible and really not worth what they ask for. I would rather my money bk which we know isn't going to happen. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SHOP ELSEWHERE. FURNITURE NOT WORTH THE PRICE NOR HEADACHE. Their in the business of ripping ppl off. When they delivered my recliner they had just thrown it in the trailer on top of everything else that was just thrown in instead of being handled with care like the furniture should have been handled.

I had the best experience with Stephanie at Ashley’s Furniture. I explained to her what I wanted and she went above and beyond to make sure I found what I wanted. Not only that my daughter lost her cell phone and when we came back the next day, Stephanie helped us look for it without any hesitation. Thank you so much Stephanie ❤️

My husband, myself, and my mother went to the Athens, GA location on March 25, 2020 to look at mattresses. Long story short our salesman Irwin told us we were getting one adjustable base and mattress then wrote a different mattress and base for us to pay for without us knowing. We received no paperwork on our bed other than the financing plan with the in store third party finance company. Irwin also told us when the new was delivered they would take away the old. When the base and mattress were delivered today, they did not take the old and in the process of setting up the bed and looking at the remote it was then we realized we had the wrong base. We were given a base that did a third of the one we thought we were getting. I was not thrilled on spending so much on a bed, there is no way I would have agreed to the amount we paid for a base that does so little. We called the store for long hold times to speak to someone for less than two minutes who confirmed we did get the wrong base to then be transferred to who she said we needed to speak to and hung up on. After getting no where being on the phone for over a hour we drove the 45 minutes to athens to the store we purchased at. We spoke to customer service and then the sales manager which is ultimately how we found out we were verbally sold on one base and mattress and purchase and complete different base and mattress that we had never even tried out when we made the purchase. We only tried one adjustable base model so there is no way to have any mix up or confusion as to what we thought we were getting. Ashley’s refused to do anything to right their wrong so we asked for the money we put down to be refunded and the financing to be cancelled. Ultimately because we used the in house finance company we were told there was nothing Ashley’s could do for us and we would have to call the finance company. We called the number they gave us for the finance company only for the phone to ring at the empty desk of the finance company sitting next to the gentlemen that gave us the number. We cannot get in contact with someone from the finance company until 11am tomorrow to try and have them pick up what they’ve delivered and get our money back. I tried to called Ashley’s corporate office when we got home to wait 25 minutes to speak to someone, the woman asked if she could place me on hold to further look into our account to which I agreed. After being on hold for about another five minutes I was hung up on again. This has been an absolutely horrible experience and I will not be recommending Ashley’s to anyone for anything.
Irwin flat out lied. He verbally sold us on a bed with a certain frame and then on paper sold us something completely different. Full on bait and switch. I wouldn't buy a dog turd from him or anyone there. I trust a crackhead trying to sale me new iPhone over Irwin. On top of that Ashley's won't do an thing about it. Worst experience of our lives.

Ashley Furniture, I bought a sofa from you and 8 months later it started breaking down. After 3 1/2 months of calling, you finally decided to exchange my sofa for another one just like it. The problem is that I don't want the same one back and am willing to pay the difference in price for a better quality sofa, but was told that isn't a possibility. I either keep the broken one I have or take another one like it. The sofa is now barely usable. Your customer service stinks!
Atrocious experience. Used them years back and had a great experience. So when it came time to get new bedroom suites for our kids and living room furniture, they were our first stop. Due to COVID-19, visiting the store was not an option, so we started online. We ordered in April and everything was marked as in-stock at time of the order (and still listed as such teo weeks later). The two bedroom suites were delivered by multiple companies, and in addition to 1/3 of it being shipped to the wrong house, almost half of the items were damaged in shipping. We actually are still waiting on some pieces, with the delivery date being moved constantly. The sofa and sectional we have yet to receive since the delivery date keeps getting changed without notice... we have to call and wait hours on hold in order to get any updates from them. We went to the store now that they are open again, hoping they could assist. They were helpful in showing us around and giving us assurances on delivery dates if we ordered through the store, but said they cannot help providing support via their in-store support team for orders placed online. They shared that online experience is always bad and that they highly discourage people from using it; citing dishonest advertising and poor customer support. This means that the stores know that the online side of their company is terrible, but nobody seems to be doing anything about it. The only thing worse than the quality of the furniture and delivery services of Ashley are the outright lies and deceptive practices their online site and support use. This company has sadly fallen a really long way over the last decade.
I was in Ashley&'s to purchasese a chair for my mom. No one acted like they wanted to wait on us. After 30 minutes, a young lady asked if we had been waited on. My cousin an I said no. She did apologize, stating she thought we were just hanging around. Once we were waited on, we made sure the delivery address was correct and paid for the chair in full. Several days later, we received a call stating the chair was on back order and would be delivered on 5/22 after the initial date of 5/19. When we called on 5/20 to confirm the date and delivery time, we were told a different address. When the correct address was given, they told us the delivery date would now be 5/27. When we called to complain, we were hung up on.
&"Selling garbage, and talking trash.&"Started buying on a budget 10 years ago. Furniture is, generally, &"cheap&". Delivery is atrocious. Sofa delivered in 2009 in good shape; but frame broke within 90 days. Stuck with it; no warranty. Flash forward to 2018, sectional sofa delivered with rough cut jagged wood protruding in fabric on the back. The sectional is not against a wall. Warranty exchange. Replacement sofa, fabric not taut in back. Service guy said someone would call; never did. Bought a cheap dresser for 5 year old daughter delivered with wood separating and split. The warranty replacement dresser still had blemishes. I was finished with Ashley forever!But... my wife wanted to save money on a mechanical base and mattress, so, I said ok. You can buy the same brands anywhere (Sealy, Serta, Beautyrest). Ashley, even after being told that they had lost me forever as a customer, delivered the wrong mechanical base to my wife. The whole thing is SO bad; it&'s hilarious! LOL!!! However, it is real $$$. Havertys got $13,000 - Bassett got $5,000.I intend to educate ALL of my family and friends.
Bought a couch Sunday, rented a truck to go pick it up today (Tuesday) and says I can not have my couch that I bought with receipts until Friday because they are having a random inventory of the floor. Horrible service.

No hassle or pressure this time around
I was originally in love with our couch. Fast forward, less than 2 years later, I am repairing the couch. I am thinking to myself. Well, I have 2 dogs, and this is just the territory. However, upon opening the back and examining the frame, I encountered terrible workmanship. Wood staples poking out left to right missing their target. Support pieces not even close to being flush with their respective beam. Ashley has very nice looking furniture, but I am not concerned about the actual quality and will be hesitant purchasing from them again. Regardless of dogs, I should not pay 1300 for a couch and only get a lifespan of <2 years.

We had a great experience shopping in store. Charlotte ran all the numbers and explained everything clearly. Not once did we feel like we were being tricked or out smarted and we walked away happy with our purchase. Delivery took a few weeks, which we were told, and upon unboxing, a major cut was made on the chaise and back cushion. We notified our Athens Ashley store and Clinton was amazing! He ordered all new pieces for us, which were delivered within days! He even offered to stuff our new pieces for us if we brought them into the store. He was incredibly helpful and generous with his time. We are so grateful we had a good experience and are so happy with our new comfy couch from Ashley!
VERY unethical company. Doing business with Ashley was the worst mistake I've made in a long time. Apparently the Wanek family has decided that a shady used car lot is the best business model to follow. This place added $300 to my bill for a protection plan I didn't ask for and didn't want and is refusing to remove it.

HORRIBLE!!! Me and my girlfriend ordered a dining room and living room set from the showroom store in Athens, Georgia. It was delivered to us from their distribution warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. 2 days after it was in our home we discovered bed bugs in the lining of one of the dining room chairs. I took videos and pictures of what we found, contacted Ashley Furnitures corporate center like i was told after receiving horrible customer service at the showroom store. We received an even more terrible customer service experience at the corporate customer service center! We were told that “their was no way we were telling the truth because all of our furniture is delivered in plastic”! That’s a lie because we watched the movers from the time they arrived to the time left. When the movers pulled up to our home, most of our furniture was already put together and it was most definitely not wrapped in plastic! We will be moving forward with our lawyer and taking this horrendous situation to civil court!
Wallace was kind and extremely helpful! When I need more furniture I plan to go back and will be asking for Wallace!
In store experience was horrible. After looking around the store for several minutes not once was I approached about making a purchase . Mind you I was the only customer in the store . There were about 7 employees, and not one bothered to ask if I was doing ok. The only thing time I was acknowledged was when I was walking out the door and a middle age white lady with shoulder length grey was telling me to have a good day. Not a welcoming or friendly environment.

Customer No Service if you order an incorrect size. Expect to be to spend 30 minutes or more on hold for the next available representative.... to only get disconnected. Over the past 2 weeks I had to call several times and got a different answer every time again after 30 minute wait time and not disconnected. I will never purchase anything from Ashley again online or in store again.
My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at Ashley's for the very first time Mr. Wallace helped us and the store manager can't remember her name yet, but both of those two people were the most wonderful people we ever encounter and they gave us the most wonderful experienced and made us really want to buy from Ashley's and we will be returning next we need a dining room suit LOL. We should have looked at the yelp reviews before walking through the door; everyone is right- the customer service is horrible, and follow up with issues is even worse. Very inconsistent messaging and not willing to help resolve issues at all. We purchased a floor sample item,returned to pick up our items at the appropriate time as instructed, but were then instructed we could not take our paid for product because they were taking inventory. It was paid for?? They don&'t own it any more??? Multiple phone calls to customer no-service and I will hopefully pick it up next week... asked for compensation to cover my time and fuel - was offered $100 by customer service - but store said I could only have $25... as of now I&'m just hoping to get my items!
They have great selection and good deals but be careful with their delivery time because after you purchase you will get a call saying sorry we are not gonna be able to deliver to you on this day even I made the urgent purchase because of the delivery time.and you have no choice but to go get it yourself and iam not the only one I saw 3 customers at their facility that they experienced the same and it was from different location too. I purchased, through financing, a powered recliner sectional and a mattress with adjustable base. At the time of purchase, I believed all three recliners in the sectional were powered as that was the design of the floor model. I also was told that by purchasing two pillows and a mattress protector I would get a 90 day return policy on the mattress. After three delivery attempts, they are saying the sectional is no longer manufactured with all powered recliners. The offers to correct the situation were taking the floor model (used furniture) or a $100 store credit. When I said I wanted to return it since it isn't which I purchased, i was told all sales are final. As for the mattress, after neglecting to order and deliver two twin bases such that was had to sleep with our mattress on the floor for a week, we were offered a mere $100 discount to order the additional base. Furthermore, after sleeping on the mattress for a couple of weeks, we realized the adjustable base wasn't working for my husband and the mattress wasn't working for me. Again, when I said I wanted to return it I was told all sales are final. When I brought up the 90 day return policy I was told it wasn't a return policy but a comfort guarantee and that our mattress wasn't eligible. So after spending $7000 we have a sectional that isn't what we purchased and a mattress with adjustable base we can't use. Oh, and every delivery left trash all over our driveway for us to cleanup.

Terrible costumer service and overall rudeness. I thought I was buying ONE mattress and bunk beds but when deliveries the sales person had sold us two mattresses. We told the delivery guys that we didn’t want it but they wouldn’t take it back, said we had to return it to the store. The following week I brought it back to the store and was told the delivery people should have returned it and they would send someone back out in over 4 weeks to pick it up but they may not be able to take it back at all since I didn’t call the day it was deliveries to tell them and since it will be in our home for so long. The problem that bothered me the most was there was two men salesmen at the front door who didn’t ever bother to get the door or help me to my car with the mattress. I had to carry it and my 3 yo had to help hold the door (which was heavier then her) so I could go out.

The second one they delivered left a grease mark on my carpet on the broken side so obviously they just brought the same one back (they promised a new unbroken one) and hoped that greasing it up would fix it. Now not even 3 years after purchase and on the same side (coincidence?) ....the recliner mechanism has broken. Went to the store to order a replacement part and was given a number to call. Called the number, they looked up my account and I was told recliner mechanisms were covered for 5 years and I was good. A technician came out and saw what part was broken and said he would order the part and once I received it in the mail to call back and he would come out and put the part on. Again was told by him as well that all was covered. That was 2 weeks ago. Called today to check on the status and was told that part was never ordered because warranty was out. Not even a phone call to tell me this lie, they simply just put that note in my account info and did not order the part. Someone needs to remedy this - I was told the part would be ordered and technician would come out and replace part and this is what needs to be done!!! Will never purchase from this company again. I will stick to what I&'ve had in the past. La-z-boy. Had a 30 year old recliner and the mechanism still worked. Should have just gotten all my old still working quality furniture reupholstered. Their furniture is cheaply made and will not last!Beware and don&'t buy from a company that will not stand behind their product and make things right with the customers.

I have purchased two different living room suites from Ashley’s, when I buy my furniture I always purchase the extended warranty. This lady suite was leather , less than a year old the love seat started coming apart, after what felt like a life time we finally got someone to help us get it fixed. Now within 3 months of them putting the new back n cushions on the leather is fading off the couch.This has to be faulty material how does furniture start fading in less than 3 months. I have called since July 4th to try to get a resolution only to be told none of my issues are covered under my protection plan. Ashley’s furniture doesn’t not honor or warranty anything they sell. I have asked for a supervisor to contact me was told I would hear from someone with 24 hours, it’s been a week and yet no call. The customer service is horrible everyone wants to send you to someone else . They want you to send pictures of the furniture over email which doesn’t show exactly what the true issues are . My coach isn’t having issues just the love seat. I plan on filing a report to the BBB, I would not recommend Ashley’s to anyone. Wasted $500.00 on a warranty that won’t cover anything. Truly disappointed in this Furniture store.

Typical sales tactics where they promise you the world to make the sale and once it's done you are left with regret and a run around. Delivery is ridiculous. Don't expect to schedule the delivery, you are at their mercy and it definitely won't be the time that they tell you like most all delivery. I wanted to just cancel my order but could get no person to answer the phone. They don't care about their customers after the sale. Next time I will just go to Sears Outlet for the same furniture at a lower cost.
Donna was able to provide me with the furniture I needed at a reasonable price. Her consistency and work ethic stood out to me. I will continue to shop for my furniture at Ashley.
I went in to Ashley's in April and purchased a Tempurpedic mattress and bedroom suit. The bedroom suit was a new item, so with the understanding that it could possibly be 2 months before receiving it to ensure that there were no damages, I agreed. I received the mattress a week or two later and the delivery went well. The delivery for the 7 piece King sized bedroom suit was set up for June 5th. I had things set up for someone to be at my house on the 5th and got all of the confirmations that they would be there. I later got a call from the customer service representative on June 4th, that they would need to change the delivery to June 6th. I agreed. When they delivered, the chest of drawers was broken. The delivery people informed me that someone would be contacting me later in the day to reschedule. They did not. I called the next day to speak with the manager. She was helping with a sale, so I left a message for her to call me back. She did not call back that day or before 4:00 pm the next day. I called back again the next day for the manager. She was in an interview. I again left a message. No call back from the manager. The customer service representative called to reschedule my delivery for Wednesday, June 12th, and informed me that the manager would be calling me back. No call back. Saturday morning I called again and finally got the manager on the phone. She said that she thought the customer service representative told me about the process of getting "something for my troubles." Instead of her giving me a call herself. She said that after my furniture was successfully delivered, they would call me to see what they could do. My furniture was delivered on June 12th. By June 17th I had not heard from anyone at the store. I called corporate and they offered me a gift card. They said that the store would have to offer anything additionally. The corporate lady sent me back over to the store. I got someone in customer service again. He put me on hold to get the manager.The manager (a different one from who put me off the first two times) was on the phone and sent a message through the customer service representative that the gift card was the best that they could do. The offer of the gift card does not replace my dissatisfaction of the poor communication and customer service of the managers. I would think your store's customer service and reputation is worth more than a gift card. I spent over $7000 and received not even a genuine effort to reflect what I thought was the Ashley's store policy of complete customer satisfaction. The furniture was great once it was FINALLY delivered, but I will NOT be shopping at Ashley's store in Athens again!!! I will also share my dissatisfaction with others who may ask.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. I ordered a recliner within 4 hours realized it was very uncomfortable. I called "NO" CUSTOMER SERVICE. After waiting 45 minutes for a rep, I was told they would let me know in 48/72 hours if it was approved for return. WHAT? FINALLY received approval for pick up 3 weeks later the chair is still in my home. It was scheduled for pickup today, and they were a NO SHOW. save yourself the hastle, 10 hours missing of my life, 8 phone calls and serious lack of communication. They move real quick to take your payment though. That's the upside . There are too many companies that are easier to work with. Ordered through many no hassles. I'll be crossing Ashley off my future furniture purchases list.
We bought 4 things from this store. It is so poorly managed that only one of the items arrived without incident. Two of them required two separate trips for us to pick up. The third was out of stock on the day before it was supposed to be delivered. They have inventory problems, warehouse problems, and lying problems. They tried to charge us $200 for delivering one item. Don’t shop here.

Charlotte is great!! She’s so sweet and she’s really passionate about her job! I looked around at dressers all day all over Athens and found one I really liked at Ashley’s and she was my associate. When I was finally ready to buy, I went back and made sure to ask for Charlotte because she was so awesome the first time around!

Bought a kitchen table when they shipped it they didn't pack any hardware to assemble it. Getting them to send the screws was a pain.
Good selection of forniture, great service in store. Look for weekly specials, you can get a good deal if you are not in a hurry to buy.

The staffs are helpful and there are many options that you can try and touch in the store. The delivery crew is very good -- they are careful, install everything in places and collect all trashes. Remember to check prices online. It is weird that prices could be lower on the Ashley website. The store will match the online prices, if they are lower.

My in store experience was great. They were friendly and efficient. HOWEVER, when the couch I purchased was delivered the auto man that goes under the chaise, came without the feet. The delivery guys rushed out, saying there were no feet. I called the customer line and waited 30 minuets on hold before I talked to someone. They sent the feet, but I told them there was no way I could get the feet on. Whoever I talked to, insisted I could, and I was dumb enough to believe them. The feet arrived a couple days later and low and behold, it takes a power tool to attach the feet. One that an average person does not have. I called the dreaded customer line twice, waiting at least 30 minutes on hold each time. I finally called the store and told my story, a nice lady put a request in for the service line to call me with in 24 hours. 3 days later they call and say, they can send someone out IN TWO WEEKS! I have been jumping through too many hoops for this and I’m just going to figure it out on my own. As usual, you can’t rely on anyone, you have to do everything yourself. I’m not well off and I just wanted a nice couch for me and my partner to enjoy in our home. I realize that this review does not matter I. The grand scheme of things but I’m angry and disappointed, so I had to say something. I appriciate the woman at the store who tried to help, and I do actually love the couch. It would be great if it were complete and I had not gone through all these phone calls and waisted time to have something nice.

The customer service was very good and the representative very knowledgeable; however the sign on the front doors stating next day delivery was not the case for me. I will not receive my chair for 2 1/2 weeks.
Julie was very patient and compassionate to shown all the items that they have on sale in the store. She was very friendly and engaged when it comes to help with some particular items. She acknowledged me right at the entrance and continued to use all the techniques to make me feel at ease, but I can honest say that she is a very natural women who try to help everyone with no exceptions. Finally, I can say that she applied the 10-10 feet rule with no hesitations, and everyone who works with her or around her should be proud of her. She is just a good human being.
Please check the online prices the sale clerks work on commission. The sale clerks will not inform you of better online prices. I saved almost thousand dollars on my future purchase. Stay away from Charlotte she will lead the customer to higher prices and big smile. Very disappointed. Pleas check online frist and have the clerks match the online price.

Great selection of furniture in showroom but most of the items online are not available to see in the showroom which is a bummer. Also, we purchased a livingroom set and was told we would get a call later on with the delivery date. 3 weeks is the wait. These items should be available and if not, we should be told before purchase. Not happy with the wait time at all and not happy that we didn't know before purchase as we needed sooner than later and would have not purchased that set.
My furniture was to be delivered July 27, 2018. It's now August 8, 2018, and i still don't have a bed to sleep on. The only thing i have received from Ashley's is pain and unprofessional people. They really don't deserve one star, but of course, they don't have 0 because that would probably be their top rating.
