Worst place ever I have been waiting for parts that were supposed to come with my table for over a month. Pics to follow.
May be an off day for them but everyone from the customer service desk to sales reps were apathetic to say the least. It may be due to having five sets of customers waiting for an available rep. Managers- you clearly need additional staff and need to train them on delivering an exceptional experience.
Poor customer service. Sales associates were more concerned with talking amongst themselves and reading the store for close. I literally sat on the couch that I wanted and just purchased it online. I was there 30 mins and no one ever said “Can I help you.”
If I could give a zero I would. No one should ever shop Ashely Furniture. First if they told us one day something was for sale and the next day it was not. The. They deliver a bookshelf assembled wrong. A week after our delivery we find out that they substituted an Ashley band Bucky board for a tempurpidic with our mentioning to us. We found out when they called to deliver the tempurpidic. I responded to the text message Monday to confirm delivery window. I got a text this morning to remind me of my delivery. As the end of my delivery window approached I called in. I was told I did not confirm yesterday. I was also hung up on.i have not been on hold with the store for more that 15 minutes. I finally reached Colton who was very pleasant and responsive. Let see what happens on 8/13
The service was great I've purchased an entire sectional sofa from Cece she's great and the entire staff was helpful. Recommend this store to anyone needing any furniture. THANKS SO MUCH
To say that Latonya went above and beyond to accommodate us would be an understatement. We let her know what we were looking for, and she pin pointed at least 6 options that fit all the criteria within 5-10mins. She was patient with us as we went back and forth, and even helped us carry a coffee table to the sofa we ultimately picked to better envision how it would look. She was not "salesy" in the least, which we appreciated. Definitely look out for her when you can!
If I could give 0 Stars I would. BUYER BEWARE. NO RETURN POLICY. We received couches Saturday 7/13. The couches were extremely stiff and not what we wanted. I went to the store to make an exchange. After meeting with an associate for 30 minutes going through different selections another associate said they have a no Return policy. The store manager was no help either and said to call customer service at corporate where they would tell me the same thing. Sure enough after customer service sent me back to the store and then the store sent me back to customer service they said they do not do returns and that the fine print should include furniture. They look at the consumer as a sale and nothing more. I will never shop here again and will make sure everyone I know is aware of the shady business practices.
I bought a couch set, delivered a week later and never got a call. When I did call I was told it was on route still to come back. Turns out it wasnt and being delivered. I ask to have dropped off the next day as they offer next day delivery. They couldn't because system has it in delay status because of shipping prior. I rent a trailer and pick up because I needed the couches for a going away party and had no seats. I call and make sure to give them heads up per store manager night before to warehouse to have it ready by name to his associate. Give 4 hour lead time and take 20 minutes to get when other items are ready for pickup. Operator of crane gives us brown instead of grey couches and we kept them. Was done with it, not a bad color and wasnt particular but still... REDICULOUS I get a 100 buck only store redeemable and still havent used the card in over 8 months for this elaboration because all the smaller items are overly expensive, I stop by every 3 ish months hoping to use. Great couches and acceptable price though! Just make sure you don't live in an apartment complex I guess (Ashley's furniture has their own distribution. Not 3rd party. Direct from warehouse)
Don't purchase furniture here. If you need ANY support from the store post-purchase, they will tell you to come in or put you on hold a million times. Get it together.
I highly recommend that you search elsewhere for your furniture needs. My receipt states that "A refund for 100% of the customer's purchase price will be issued for the customer for a cancelled order prior to delivery by calling the AFHS from which you purchased." I tried to call and cancel my order 4 days before delivery and Candace told me that I had to come in. I informed her that my invoice states I just need to call and she then told me that the policy changed and a manager had to approve all refunds. I said that I would like to speak with the manager and was told he was in training with no return time available. So you were going to have me come to the store and wait until he was out of training instead of taking care of it over the phone as noted in the invoice? No, they want you to come in so you can be sold something else and prevent the lost sale. From my experience purchasing at the store - a manager has to approve all purchases so I doubt they are all in training with no ETA on return to the floor. If the manager had any sales skills, they could try to overcome objections over the phone instead of hiding behind, "tell him I'm in a meeting and don't know when I'll be out" or "he has to come in". They called and refunded me after I filed a dispute with Chase.
I was so impressed by this location and their service. This location is very professional and they have the best selections. Stillman was AMAZING and in my eyes he is one the best sales rep they have. Ask for him, he will definitely take care of you.
Do not buy furniture here. They do not care about their client. I was allergic to the couch material and they would not exchange it. I sat on it twice. Customer service was awful. I called the home store and corporate over 20 times. They were rude. They said they were working on deciding if I get an exchange and I never heard back from them. Ashley was extremely rude to me and Colton gave me the run around. I was lied to over and over. I would give them zero stars if I could. They don’t care about their client. They are not good business people and can’t be trusted. Stay away and do not deal with Colton or Ashley or this company. My family and I will never shop here again. My next review is to the BBB. Don’t waste your money with these people.
I ordered a Tv stand on May 30th. The furniture arrived damaged. I refused delivery and was told to wait for someone to contact me about a new delivery. After waiting a week and no one contacting me, I called Ashley Home Delivery. I then got an email notification of a new delivery date. I wasn’t given the opportunity to choose a new date. I called once again and asked for Saturday delivery so I would not have to miss any more work. I then got a confirmation email of the new delivery date. About 2 days before the scheduled delivery date I received a time frame of 3-7pm. I replied with a yes and received confirmation message. On Saturday, I waited... at 6:45pm I decided to try to get a delivery update. There was no info online, so I had to call once again. The lady said she could not find my order. She placed me on hold, came back and said she reached out to the delivery team and they would call me. After waiting about an hour and no call, I again called. This time the story was that the truck broke down. This new lady promised to call me back that Saturday evening after checking to see if they would deliver to me on Sunday. As of this Sunday evening post, NOBODY has reached out to me via email, message or phone call! This is now June 23rd; almost 1 month since I ordered the tv stand! This is unacceptable customer no service. I will ask for a total refund and cancellation of my order unless Ashley Home Furniture can compensate me for this inconvenience and distress, and deliver the product which I also paid premium delivery for at a time totally convenient to my schedule and not a 4 hour window!!!
Selection is just okay, not as nice as I was looking for. I walked casually through the entire store & no one ever spoke to me - not exactly the customer service you'd expect!
I asked for a specific delivery date - my representative wrote down a week later. So my couch was delivered a week later than I wanted and later than the 4 hour window I was given. Once delivered, it was missing a part. Struggled for over an hour to talk to customer service. Technician is coming in yet another week to replace the part. Horrible customer service. I do not recommend shopping at Ashley HomeStore - take your money somewhere else.
