DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. Purchased two lift recliner chairs for my 90 year old parents. We were assured the chairs on the floor were brand new and just put on the floor this week. Also, that the purchase would be the same whether they deliver or we buy the two on the floor with full warranty. After deciding to purchase Ashley’s chairs and paying for them. Stefani says wait,”you need to sign two papers”. One was the sales order and then she slid in, you can’t return these chairs because we purchased from showroom. I went ahead and signed, believing what she said about them being brand new on the floor. Keep in mind none of these chairs are plugged in to try out, nor was I told to make sure they were in good shape before purchasing. So, after getting them home. One was perfect, but the other was obviously a return and damaged. Did not know this until we finally plugged it in and tried it out. After immediately calling the store, less than an hour after purchasing I was told too bad, you bought off the showroom floor. Very shady business tactics. I will never purchase anything from Ashley again, and will continue to persuade family and friends to stay away from this company.

I actually never visited the Augusta Ashley Furniture store, but I worked with Jefferson over the phone for the purchase of a sofa. He was very helpful in providing information and sending pictures to me so I could see the materials and colors together with the recliners I purchased last week from the Aiken store.

Places was locked at 7pm after driving 1hr 15mins away. I was upset when I had to call for them to open the door. They blamed it on a shortage on staffing. Jeff was a great salesman and was very courteous and patient with me. See photos. Prices don't seem like outlet prices to me. 🤔🧐

Visited this store to see dining sets. I was greeted at the door by Leroy. He was very professional. He assisted me to find the exact set I was looking for.

GeNo was an excellent salesman who helped us out tremendously figuring out what living room set would work best for us. He went above and beyond moving end tables and lamps over to the sectional that we picked so my wife could see her vision come to life. He took his time and went over all our financing options. He made us want to come back to Ashley anytime we need more furniture!!

I came in to just get a bed. It was quick and easy. It was in my price range. A little hiccup but everything went great. I will be sleeping good on my new mattress.

Would not recommend they make buying furniture like buying a car. To much back and forth with the salesperson and manager. Also, we were interested in 4 bar stools that were “As Is” on the showroom floor. First thing out of the salesman mouth was we’re not allowed to lift anything and would not be helping to get them to our vehicle if we bought them.

I just completed a very successful shopping trip at my Ashley store in Augusta, GA. I was greeted promptly and in a friendly manner when I arrived. Sales Associate Gino, seeing that I was walking slowly with a cane, offered to transport me around the store in a wheelchair. After finding out what I was looking for, he efficiently found several pieces that seemed appropriate. I found just what I wanted and learned that, since it was on clearance, I wouldn't have to wait for delivery. We completed the sales process smoothly and I left feeling very pleased.

Stefani made buying new furniture a breeze! We went in for new living room furniture and left with that AND a new mattress set. Very pleased with the service we received today and definitely recommend Ashley and especially Stefani . Thank you!

I thought the service from Leroy was passable. I was amazed with Ashley’s reputation of being a more upscale furniture store the dress code for the sales staff was so lax. Jeans and ball caps were not permitted at the Furniture Retailer I retired from.

I LOVE the furniture from Ashley's! I have been shopping with you all for YEARS... but for these past several months I have had a new house built and gave been furnishing it. Erin K. is the sweetest salesperson ever. When I first came in I knew what I wanted and didn't want any help. Erin came and introduced herself and disappeared, so I thought. The moment I looked apprehensive she showed up. Through all of these months she had been so helpful. She even notified me when an item was out of stock. Company refuses to accept refunds of unopened items despite being told a refund is allowed and their website shows refunds allowed for certain items. You sign a form come to find out that says you can't reset refunds which I didnt know I signed. Trashy company after spending 12k+ with this company over the years. ALL SALES FINAL BEWARE!!!. Customer service does NOT try and help you at all only after refusing to close BBB complaints. I will go to rooms to go from now on or other companies.

Completely Ignored by Staff I walked into the Ashley Furniture store today and was completely ignored. The store was full of employees, yet not one acknowledged me, greeted me, or offered help. They were standing around talking while I wandered the showroom on my own. This level of indifference is unacceptable for a retail business, especially one selling expensive furniture. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can’t imagine how they handle issues after the sale. Ashley Furniture clearly does not value customers or their time. I will not be returning and do not recommend this store to anyone.

Product was broken in the back when we arrived home. Very short screws and was pressed wood or particle board. It looked good in the store but very cheaply made. Paid way too much for this quality. Would have expected if it had been $200-$300 but almost twice that much on sale! Never buy a floor model! No warranty!

My newlywed wife and I were in the market for an affordable yet comfortable and durable sectional sofa to last us through many years and memories. Stefani is a nice salesperson and very helpful. However, the company that runs this Ashley store is the problem. Do NOT buy anything that you cannot try out in store. We purchased a couch that they did not have on display. The couch is incredibly uncomfortable and they do not offer returns or exchanges if the product has been delivered to your home. Now we are stuck with a couch that no one even wants to sit on.

The store was well laid out. All the lovely furniture! We were greeted by Gene, the sales facilitator, and he was very helpful. He offered a wheelchair for my wife's use and guided her around the store as we looked at furniture. He was very helpful with information.

Keisha at Ashley Furniture on Wrightsboro Rd in August, GA is an amazing salesperson. We were there looking for furniture for the home were buying. She was knowledge about their products, explained the sales and financing available. When he finished closing in our home we will definitely go back and purchase our furniture through her. She also gave us a superb demonstration of the Tempur-Pedic adjustable mattress.

My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture today to shop sectionals. As soon as we entered, Lakisha met us at the door and asked us what we were looking for. She set us off in the right direction. Bought counter height dining set. Was really looking forward to my delivery. The day of delivery they left me a message on phone, when I was sleeping. Telling me I won't get my delivery due to " Did not pass inspection". Went to store .. They said how strange. Got my refund. Ashley getting a Lil shady. Employees were shocked that I got canceled day of delivery.

Olina and Cliff were excellent. We came on a Saturday to browse. Cliff answered all our questions and didn’t hover and allowed us to look around, because of this I came back on a Tuesday to see him again. He wasn’t there but Olina was able to assist, she was patient and knowledgeable and didn’t push anything on me. I appreciated that. My experience was great. My experience started Sunday evening. I wasn’t feeling well and I didn’t want to be bothered so I went into Ashley’s store to look around. I asked the clerks to respect my wishes that I did not wanna be bothered and they did. There was a young lady by the name of.Olina Which was very respectable to me. I walked The Store for a while, and I looked over and saw.Olina and call her over and was asking questions. She suggested to me that I try one of the beds because she noticed I was hopping and I was having problems with my back. I tried the bed. It was excellent, but at the time I was not able to purchase one of those beds. that was no problem. We continue to look for what I really did need which was the dining room set, she was excellent and explaining everything while being patient and being courteous to me. I did achieve a big goal that I had in mind with the help of the sales person. I recommend Ashley Store because everyone was Respectable and polite. when you respect my wishes, I can respect you. I did purchase quite a bit that day, and I am very proud of the help that I had to help me along the way, explaining what I needed to be explained to me with patient and precision. If you go in with the right attitude And be patient and ask for what you need or if you don’t wanna be bothered at the time, then you need to let them know that and when you need the help call for it because I went in not feeling well, but I left out very proud and happy, my day was made at Ashley with the sales person by the name of Olina, She was my saving Grace and I thank her for being patient and so polite. I will be visiting Ashley again within the week, because if you treat me right, I will definitely return back to you. So give Ashley a chance and show them the respect that you would like to receive and they will deliver. Our representative, Joe, was great. He introduced himself when we came in and then allowed us plenty of time to browse the store. He then checked in periodically and answered our questions. He was not overbearing (which we appreciated), and he still made the sale.

I was FORCED to buy their Diamond Care Plan for a relatively cheap furniture set. The furniture set was on clearance for $747. I don’t need a care plan for it four obvious reasons. I brought up the ”add-on” after looking at my receipt and tried to get them to remove move it, but I was told they could not sell the furniture without the plan. I went ahead and paid for it however I am thinking about channeling my complaint against them with the BBB as well as corporate.

I recommend going in to get a better idea of what you like, but don’t buy in-store. Our rep added everything she could to make the couch as expensive as possible, such as 5 year warranties. Ended up saving almost 2 grand buying it online

From the moment we walked in, Joe gave us a warm welcome and made us feel genuinely taken care of. We originally came in looking for a new couch for our home, but thanks to Joe’s expertise and friendly approach, we ended up with something even more essential—a much-needed mattress! This was by far the best furniture shopping experience we’ve ever had. Joe truly understands customer service and puts your needs first.

The buying was easy now the next step is delivery and the the quality and how well the merchandise holds up only time will tell that part. I did buy the extended warrenty the cover 5 years on the mechanism and material and operation. So will be updating the review as time goes on. So far very pleased. My wife and I recently stopped by to look at dining sets. Erica, who was very helpful and knowledgeable helped us pick a great set that I think we'll be very happy with.

Went looking for a DR set I’d considered for a year. No pressure at all walking in the store. Jacob met us and took us right to it and easily came up with an estimate. We shopped elsewhere after that but couldn’t find anything we liked as well, and Ashley’s price was competitive with anything comparable. Went back to Jacob a few days later, and he was actually able to shave a little off the delivery fee. Easy peasy, and I can’t wait for my set to arrive.

Be very careful about canceling any order. They won’t show you the fine print that says they will charge you a big fee on your total order if you need to cancel after 3 days. I found this out. The salesman, floor supervisor both said it was a. Corporate policy but corporate said it was the store policy. The store said 15% and corporate said it’s 10%. I will never be back to this store. I had an order at Rooms to Go and they canceled my order with no issues and no fees. I’ll be back to Rooms to Go when I get my new move in date to my new place. Bad policy for Ashley.

WORST STORE IN THE WORLD

The reason for 1star is this. Salesman told me at the beginning they do not help loading furniture if you buy on clearance price. The company does not want them to get hurt, and the warehouse people are only there to do displays on showroom floor. I han to get my own man power was his exact words. This is a furniture store, and I was offended as soon as he told me that.

Geno was amazing! He knew exactly what we were looking for and worked with us for two days while we measured, discussed, and made final decisions! We sent him back and forth with changes to our order and he was patient, kind, and made the process easy! We will definitely be back to this store to see Geno with our future furniture needs :)

My spouse and I just moved here due to military orders so we came to this store to look around and see what kind of things we may want for our new home (if we wanted a coffee table or not , if we wanted just a sofa or a recliner as well, a new mattress etc.) We were greeted immediately after walking in which is normally nice but when the man asked what we were looking for and we said we weren’t sure exactly and just wanted to look around he said “you’re not sure? so you don’t know what you came in here to look for?”. normally i would take that as a probing question to try and see if they can help us better since we aren’t sure but he said it like it was the most dumb thing we could’ve said and with a extremely sarcastic tone and attitude. I did not realize we needed to know exactly what we wanted and looking around was somehow ridiculous to this store. Turned around and drove somewhere else where we didn’t feel silly or dumb for not knowing what we wanted yet. It’s great they have people to assist customers but that worker definitely needs to work on how he talks to others and the way he says things.

My husband and I have been to several furniture stores, but Ashley furniture has the best built furniture and a percentage of their proceeds go to charity! Ask for Kisha when you go in. Her kindness and helpful personality is what helped us make our minds up about purchasing our bedroom suit and mattress at Ashley furniture! She is AWESOME!!

The absolute worst retail experience I have ever had. I was given totally incorrect information about the furniture Delivery canceled the morning of with conflicting stories from associates. Told no ETA on future delivery. Had to discover on my own that salesperson had given me incorrect info on furniture so that even if/ when delivered it would not fit or work in my house. No apologies no escalation....no idea when I will be refunded.

Geno was amazing!!! He took his time showing me every piece that suited my needs for my living room space. Furniture shopping has been a headache and shopping with him was like shopping with family. Spectacular service from everyone

The customer service was absolutely unacceptable. The manager, Alexis, was extremely rude to my fiancée making condescending remarks like “you’re wasting your time calling corporate” and “we’re just trying to help you,” complete with an eye roll and an attitude. The most unprofessional comment of all? “You can call corporate, but I have a meeting to get to.” That says everything about how little they value their customers. We bought a dresser and chest set after seeing them online and thinking it looked like a good deal. Spoiler: it wasn’t. The quality is terrible, cheap materials that look like they were ordered off Temu. When we tried to return the items, we were told they “don’t do refunds” and that they could only offer replacements. That’s not what we want—we want our money back. We’ve been calling corporate for two days and keep getting the same runaround. No help, no accountability, and certainly no care for their customers. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. I will fix my review once there is some actually movement on fixing the issue

Wednesday April 16th we had to dressers delivered to our home. The delivery team dropped them in the home and left and did not wait for us to open them to see if there was any damages. Upon opening them we noticed both dressers have damages and are covered in dirt. We called corporate and I spoke someone who said that “the store dominated the purchase” and we need to take it up with the store. Upon going to the store we spoke to the Manager, Alexis. She came out of her office sighing, had her blouse open to where you could see her cleavage, and her hands down her pants. I then said hi I’m Payton are you the manager and extended my hand to shake her hand. She then said “yeah I’m Alexis” and shook my hand. When we explained to her what happened she kept repeating “I’m Florida” as if that was supposed to be intimidate us. She then refused to talk to me and would only speak to my fiancé. I stepped aside and called corporate again where I spoke to another woman who heard the verbal abuse and disrespect portrayed by the management. Some of the following were comments by the manager (Alexis): 1. You paid $600 for two dressers that’s not bad, i have ikea furniture in my home and it’s not great furniture it’s similar to this furniture what did you expect for $600. 2. I can give you a credit, my fiance then said well you need to talk to her because her parents bought it as a housewarming gift for us, she looked me up and down, i said i don’t want to a credit if this is how I’m going to be treated I’d rather return the items get my money back and be done, she then rolled her eyes and shooed my off as if i was unimportant to her. 3. She told us she didn’t have time to help us because she has to get on a call. 4. She said infront of a store of people, she’s wasting her time talking to corporate I’m just trying to help you and rolled her eyes at my fiancé. 5. We told her we would bring the furniture back to the store in the boxes and we could dispute the charges with Amex and she said, you go head and try that i have Amex too and I’ll make sure you still get charged. Mind you our furniture we received is unusable the drawers for the dresser are broken! We can’t use it but she wants to keep our $600? That may not seem like a lot of money to you but as two military personnel who don’t make a lot of money that is a lot of money. The women on the phone from corporate who heard all this then asked for her name and told us to leave and they would take care of us. So we left. Never got a call back from corporate or a supervisor to handle the issue. Next day Thursday, we are still dealing with this issue I talk to Shamika and she tells me they are going to get this handled and call me back with return info. I get a text three hours later claiming they can’t return the products but they will deliver new products. That is not what we want. After the way we have been treated and disrespected I want the products out of my home and my money returned and we can go separate ways. I call the number back for corporate and try to tell them that an exchange is not what me and Shamika discussed and i don’t want that. Someone named Cameron answers and refuses to patch me Shamika and gives me this email instead to write a complaint. I’m applauded at the fact that this is how Ashely runs their business. There should be no reason why at this point with everything we’ve been put through that I can’t return the damaged items you sent me and get my money back. This seems to be a common thing with this store because over 20+ google reviews of people saying the manage is disrespectful and they send out damaged items all the time and refuse to return them.

Looking for a small entertainment center for my place. KEISHA was great. Didn't rush me and showed me everything in my price range. I didn't find an entertainment center, but I did find some pretty cool end tables. I'll be back.

The worst! My daughter moved to Augusta and we ordered a dresser for her after she went into the store and chose something. It arrived damaged and covered in dirt. We contacted the store, they stated we would need to contact corporate, cooperate said we would have to deal with the store directly. My daughter went back to the store and Alexis treated her so poorly! She belittled my daughter and treated her with the worst customer service, rolling her eyes, refusing to talk to her and would only address my daughter’s fiancé. Right now the end result is, once something is delivered they will not issue refund or exchanges even though my daughter opened the box and saw that the dresser was damaged and immediately reached out! She has the items for less than an hour and as of right now she is stuck with the broken item. If the outcome changes I will update this review however, my daughters was basically assured nothing will be done and she is stuck with this low quality broken furniture. I will never buy anything from an Ashley store again and I will advise everyone I know to not patronize this store or any other Ashley store.

Leroy Jones was the consummate salesman! He was informative, friendly and incredibly kind. He sold us a living room set and we walked away with a dining set as well. He found us a fantastic dining room set to match. He was a great listener and showed us pieces that really fit our style.

Erica was very patient as we tried every couch in the store, multiple times, and helped us find the right fit!
