I am writing to formally document my recent interaction with a customer service agent who said she was a manager. This is my experience after I purchased. She reached put to accept a payment by phone. When I was trying to explain that I read over the contract and there are some illegal clauses in Acima language. She was triggered and start speaking nasty and aggressively. During the conversation, I attempted to clarify my position and outline my plan to remit payment. However, the representative’s tone became overtly dismissive, and she exhibited a demeanor of hostility and authority that escalated the situation unnecessarily. Specifically, she stated that she possessed the power to negatively impact my credit standing, a statement I found not only discomforting but also aggressive and uncalled for. This exchange was highly distressing, particularly as I am managing additional financial concerns due to a recent accident. In light of this, I authorized a $25 payment to be applied to my account with the understanding that the remaining balance would be addressed by December 15, 2024. Despite my effort to maintain clear communication and resolve the matter amicably, the representative’s threats to jeopardize my creditworthiness created an adversarial and hostile interaction. Which I did not understand as she is simply a customer service representative, or manager. If she is a manager she lacks professional demeanor and training. I must emphasize that threats of this nature are unprofessional and appear to deviate from both ethical standards and legal principles governing creditor-debtor relations. The behavior exhibited by the representative is not only inconsistent with best practices for customer service but also raises concerns about compliance with fair debt collection laws. The invocation of credit damage as leverage in this context is not only tactless but may also contravene statutes designed to protect consumers from coercive practices. I request that this incident be reviewed thoroughly, and appropriate measures be taken to ensure that future interactions with your representatives adhere to professional standards and legal requirements. Such behavior undermines the integrity of your organization and erodes customer trust. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly. Please feel free to contact me directly if additional details or clarification are required. The sale took place in the mall of Georgia and the agent said she is a manager for acima. I have the contact information and transcripts for the call. I will be sending this to corporate and I will not stop until there is resolve. We are humans we have lives abd life life's, that give no customers service representative the audacity to think they can speak to people in whatever way they want. Truly disappointed with the service. If I wanted this treatment I could have gone to a round the way established. This was tact Ashley

Great customer service and lots of great furniture selections to choose from for each room of your home. Patricia was top notch in helping my husband and I AND she knew all the details of any piece of furniture we were interested in’! Can’t wait for my dining room set to get in! We’ll probably be back to purchase that leather sofa!
