Totally unacceptable. I gave this rating specifically because of the delivery process. Calling the customer service hotline was really frustrating. I was placed on hold for 15+ minutes each time I called just for the line to disconnect. When I finally got someone on the phone, I felt confident things were resolved. NOPE! I noticed the delivery address was wrong, so I called to have it corrected twice. They still managed to deliver it to the wrong place. My delivery window was 1:45-5:45p. I didn't get the furniture until 9:30p. I will say that the gentlemen who delivered the furniture were awesome. They were polite and patient while we sorted out some issues. Big Thanks to them only.
I had to go back to the store after the sales associate Fatima charged by card twice to the tune of over 700$. She told me they could not take care of the double charge over the phone, that I would have to come to the store, which I did. There were four people ahead of me for complaints that included receiving broken furniture, and receiving the wrong order. We were asking to speak to the store manager Mr. Huges, and were told he was in a meeting and we would have to wait. They could not/ would not tell us how long. I could write a short story of how bad the service was, but proceed with caution shopping at this store.
DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!! I should have read the reviews before making a purchase here but the lack of attentiveness upon entering the store twice previously, should have made me take my business elsewhere but I was set on a sectional for my home there. I mean it’s Ashley Furniture, you’d think they would be excellent in customer service….wrong…. When I asked an employee I wanted to make a purchase that’s when I got the royal treatment. Very quick to get my information and take payment but after that customer service has been nothing but a headache. I purchased a sectional got it delivered and it ended up being too big for the space I have so I immediately called the store to schedule a return and a confirm a pick up date for the additional seat I purchased. I was told that I would be contacted by someone to finalize the pick up date and didn’t hear back for 2.5 weeks. I called for a follow up and was told it was never scheduled!!!!! At this point I was already annoyed. I told the lady on the phone to get my pick up date scheduled now and she said she would have to call me back. Another week went by and I had to follow up again. When I followed up, the lady on the phone said there was nothing she could do because the return had to be processed before a scheduled date could be confirmed. By this point I was over it. I wanted nothing to do with Ashley and their customer service. I just wanted my money back and if they came to get their furniture or not I didn’t care. The lady finally got my pick up date confirmed for the coming weekend. Saturday comes by and the furniture piece was finally picked up 3 weeks after my first request. Well guess what??? Another two weeks has already passed and still haven’t gotten my money back!!!!!!! I just called Ashley home store corporate and was on hold for 45 mins then when I got through I was transferred to two different operators and when I was finally able to talk to someone, it was to a location in South Dakota!!!!! I live in Georgia. I am now going to the store to get my money back. Never will I ever shop at Ashley again. I will make sure all my friends and family take their business elsewhere. Horrible experience!!! If I could give no stars I would. Update: I had to go into the store because no one ever picks up the phone and when I got there I knew why. They’re under staffed at the customer service desk and guess what??!! I wasn’t the only customer there trying to get their money back! The lady helping me couldn’t find the order number which took about 10 mins of her just clicking things on her screen and repeatedly asking me how much my total was how I paid. After providing her everything she asked for, including the date I made the purchase. she then said she couldn’t find my order!!!! I was beyond angry at this point. I asked her what else she needed because I’m just trying to get a refund and she said oh sorry! I was looking at the wrong date….i will never shop at Ashley’s again.
Son irresponsables me engañaron mi compra fue grande de mas de 10mil $ y los articulos no los he recibido completos me cambian y cambian el día de la entrega no me ayudan ni realizan entregas parciales estoy de manos atadas si pueden nunca mas compren aqui prefiero usar rooms to go quizaa sea mas costoso un poco pero las cosas llegan a tiempo y hasta mejor calidad si puediese demandaria a esta empresa.. traduccion: They are irresponsible, they deceived me, my purchase was large of more than $ 10 thousand and the articles I have not received complete, they change me and they change the day of delivery they do not help me or make partial deliveries I am tied hands if they can never buy here again I prefer to use rooms To go it may be more expensive a bit but things arrive on time and even better quality if I could, I would sue this company
I ordered furniture and was told it would be delivered on a certain date, then 2 weeks after that, then 2 weeks after that. I have yet to receive my furniture that was told to me would be delivered on July 3rd and now I'm waiting until August and end of September for expected items. I've talked to multiple people with different answers, none of which end up being accurate. I've offered to pay extra to have the order expedited which they cannot do. I've had a truly terrible experience with the delivery process waiting for my furniture as they keep backing the dates up! I would love a call from management and a credit to make up for such a poor communication delivery process.
the customer service is no help they just play pass the buck they say they have parts of my order and refuse to deliver it till the rest is received and they can't tell you when that is it could be 2 weeks or it could be 6 months! VERY ANNOYED!
Very poor customer service! I placed an order at the beginning of April for a dining table, six chairs and some wall art. Because the wall art was on back order, they kept delaying the delivery of my dining set. After about 10 calls to customer service, I finally got them to go ahead and set up delivery of just the dining table and chairs for July 5th. When it arrived, the table was completely busted. We did accept the six chairs although they had to schedule a tech to fix one of the chairs that had a missing nail head. We have no where to sit, so options are limited. I was told then that we would get a replacement table in approximately a week. It has been two weeks now, and after about 8 calls to customer service, they still cannot confirm a delivery date before late September! Ridiculous, their departments don't communicate internally well, and when I call it is always some excuse, that it has to go back to the store to take the wall art off the order, or that is a scheduling issue with the delivery team, or that they should be able to get a partial delivery for the table set up but then no one calls me back to confirm. Each call takes about 30 minutes, and nothing gets resolved. Very frustrating experience!
Horrible customer service
Today was the 3rd attempts in delivery wrong bed. Almost a month back and forth. Management team can’t comply with what they promise to the customer. First experience and the worst.
I am beyond frustrated with Ashley’s furniture and their lack of transparency. I purchase a couch set on January 17th of 2021. It is July 8th of 2021 as I write this review and I STILL have not receive my furniture. Every time that I have contacted Ashley’s. I get a new estimated date for the furniture to arrive at their distribution center, not even the delivery date. The most frustrating part is that Ashley’s has not communicated anything with me. Not a single email to explain the situation. I fully understand that their is some set back on orders due to the pandemic but 7 months is a little excessive. Also, I have asked to speak with a manager before and was routed back to the phone tree by the customer service representative. Completely unprofessional and a lack for the customer experience is what I see from Ashley’s. My finance is 7 months pregnant and we have an empty living room that I fear our baby will be here before we receive our couch. This is completely unacceptable. Ashley’s should remove their advertisement about manufacturing their own furniture and distributing their own furniture to lead to faster deliveries because this is complete false advertisement. If possible avoid Ashley’s and take your business to other furniture companies. If I ever receive my furniture it will be the last business I do with Ashley’s.
Do not buy from this store. Worst nightmare of my life!! I would rate them a negative 5 if possible. On June 25th my 4th piece if furniture arrived and I was given a delivery date. On July 3rd at 11:12 I received a automated message saying that my 4 pieces were in and they would be delivered July 6th. At 4:31 that same day I received a call from Will at the warehouse stating 3 pieces will be delivered on July 6th. So suddenly my 4th piece is missing. Then today July 5th I get a call with my delivery time for 2 pieces of furniture. So again another piece of missing furniture!!!! So now I'm convinced tomorrow I will probably only get 1 piece of furniture!!! They lie to their customers and only concern for them is making a sale. DO NOT SHOP HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT. I should have looked at the reviews first. That was my bad. All the negative reviews are based on what happens AFTER you have made your purchase. YOU HAVE BEEN WARN.....DO NOT SHOP HERE....SPREAD THE WORD!!
Not a good experience! Yet to find out how worse it can get. Ordered two bedroom sets, dining room set, and coffee table set in May. Received coffee table set, half of King set and a queen bed(damaged) within 2weeks. It was told that the other half of the order would be delivered June 18. The platform king bed came without a headboard, so could not be be put together. Sales person forgot to order the king headboard. I had to return to the store to place the order in person. A technician came to my house on July 1 to “fix” the queen bed. I was astonished when he only spray painted the damage headboard. Technician stated, “There is only what I can do.”😡. I talked to the sales person and Ashley customer care at least 10 times and was given different dates for the delivery every single time. Every different customer service I talk to had little knowledge of the prior conversation with the other agents. I was given the run around every single time. The king headboard has an expected arrival date at the warehouse in September. I was NEVER told by the sales person or customer service that the order could possibly take 4 months to be delivered. I went to the store(Buford) and talked to a manager. I finally talked to someone who at least was honest about the delivery dates. She straight up said that she could not give a specific delivery date. I told her I could not wait until September for a headboard and I was not satisfied with the technician job on the damaged item, or possibly wait 3-4 weeks for a possible partial delivery. I requested the entire order to be canceled and I wanted the incomplete king bed and damaged queen bed returned. Well, she cancelled the remaining order, but stated that only corporate could accept the return of the incomplete king bed and damaged queen bed!!! I have pieces of a bed standing against the wall in my bedroom for almost 2 months because of the mistake of the sales person and a poorly and unacceptably fixed queen bed that I have to wait for corporate to decide if they should accept the return. Employees should received training about being honest and realistic about delivery dates(good customer service) and not only care about making a sale. Ashley Corporate!!I hope you can make this right!!
