After many months of delays, our couch and tv stand were finally scheduled to be delivered. Ordered first week of July was told we would have it In August, then it was September. The night before we were called that the couch came in damaged and would be December before we can get it. They showed up with our TV stand the next day but billed us for the delivery for the couch also and they wont refund us, Corporate says I need to speak to the store, the store says I need to speak to corporate. The Manger at the Buford GA location would not even get on the phone to talk to me talked to me through his employee. They charged me $120 for deliver and my TV stand was $125. I would have cancelled that too if they were going to be this bad. Was told they don't refund delivery charges, yet my couch was never delivered!! I have solicited them for years, I will be now cancelling my credit card with them.
I bought a living room set in June and here it is almost October and I’ve only received a loveseat and coffee table. I was suppose to get this set in August. I got rid of my old furniture a few days before my expected delivery date only to get a call the day before saying it would be September 23rd!!! Had I known well in advance I wouldn’t have gotten rid of my old living room set. How inconvenient that was to the customer!!! Because I really liked this set to go in my new home, I decided to wait until September 23rd and guess what..I got a call the day before expected delivery date saying all of my furniture is still not available. I go to the store today to find out when can I expect my sofa and they tell me November 17th!!! Like really this can’t be possible. I told them I need a discount and they had the nerve to only offer to waive the delivery fee! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!Selling furniture that’s not available is UNACCEPTABLE!!! If I don’t hear from the manager today for a resolution, I will have them come pickup what has been delivered and take my business elsewhere. My family deserves to have a place to seat in our new hone. Waiting over 3 months for furniture is not good at all.

Terrible experience. Ordered living room set on July 28th and have been given the run around since purchasing and still never received the set or an idea of a date as to when it might be received. Communication with the store is so poor. Do not recommend purchasing anything from this establishment
The sale Rep Dee greated me immediately as I walked in the store and took care of my purchase within 15 minutes. She explained everything about my concerns professional and courteous. Thank you so much Dee.
Dee was very helpful and super nice. All the people there are happy and it shows. It made for a nice experience. My daughter loves her new bed and mattress. Great prices and they price match.

Buyer beware. The folks are nice enough, though a bit misleading. And the quality of the furniture isn't impressive. I'll explain. Purchased bookcases and a TV unit. The TV unit appears to be a solid piece; however, the bookcases are VERY disappointing. Not being one that buys furniture everyday or for a living, I readily admit I don't know exactly what to look for when purchasing furniture. And while the low price alone should have tipped me off, I specifically asked if the shelves on the bookcase were made of wood. I was assured they were, but something in my gut gave me pause. Still I soldiered on. I then asked about the return policy if they arrived and I had an issue with them. I was told that once they arrived I could return the item in question but could only receive a store credit...and ONLY if I refuse to accept them at time of delivery. Again, my gut went off but I needed some bookcases and of course I was assured again the shelves were made of wood. I also asked if the bookcases themselves would be set-up and secured at time of delivery (to prevent tipping) and was again told yes. Despite my misgivings, I was feeling trusting and wanted to do my small part to preserve jobs during these trying times. Well, the furniture arrived today and while the aesthetics of the bookcases are acceptable as soon as I pulled the shelves they are clearly not wood. At this point, I knew I had been had. Not wanting a store credit to apply towards what is essentially "kit furniture" that I don't have to haul home and assemble myself I figured I would treat this as one of those lessons learned in life and end up eating the cost when the shelves sag in a few years. I then asked the young men delivering the furniture about centering and securing to the wall. Yep, the "deer-in-the-headlights" look. Obviously "Sales" say whatever it takes to get the deal done and leaves "Delivery" to deal with the fallout of the...well, we'll be nice and call it "misinformation". It also appears that some of the hardware is missing as well, but you can believe the delivery guys couldn't get out the door fast enough before a good accounting could occur. I'm guessing the knew they had been set-up and needed to leave ASAP when I asked about them setting up the bookcases. In my younger days I would have raised a stink, but I just don't have the strength for it today and besides, my gut was telling me all week to "run away". My bad. If I thought I could get a refund for the cost of the bookcases, I would not be writing the review this way. I would rate them as 4 star for doing the right thing with a 1 star ding for being told misinformation about the make-up of the product just to close a deal. It is clear the store is purely about money and not customer satisfaction, so I guess I give them 1 star for at least being upfront and honest about that aspect. I would say this is also solidified by the fact that I do not see where Ashley Furniture has addressed one review in this review section, good or bad. And I give myself 0 stars for not listening to my gut.
I am giving 5 Stars for my sales associate, Dee. I have been in the auto business for 30 years and Dee is what we are always looking for. Greeting was instant, then gave us our space but checked on us every 10 minutes. Next she ASKED us questions about what we were replacing and what we expected from our new bed. I could go on and on with how she was just spot on but in the end I asked her to consider moving to my industry and please contact me if she would consider a change. End result we got what was right for us because of her expertise.
The salesperson was great. She was honest and very helpful helping me to make my decision.
If you are looking to actually get all of your furniture I’d recommend going literally anywhere else. We ordered a bedroom set and a dining room set. They delivered it on a different date than we agreed upon and had in writing. Then when they arrive with our items we get to find out from the driver that we are missing a chair. We then call to see when the chair will arrive and get told it’s back ordered along with our little fire place. Call again the following day only to be told that somehow a chair from the dining room set we ordered a month ago has been “discontinued”. Why would you deliver a dining room set knowing that one of the head chairs is “discontinued” , why wouldn’t you inform the customer before delivering ? After calling the store the only solution they had to offer was that we drive over 2 hours to pickup a showroom chair. WE are supposed to drive 2 hours to get something that isn’t even new, that we paid for a month ago, that we paid to be delivered and setup? Clearly you don’t have to have a functioning brain to manage a Ashley store, or customer service skills. Pathetic experience. Also still no date on the little fire place. Not sure you should be managing a urinal, let alone a furniture store if you think it’s okay to deliver part of a dining room set and offer no solution aside from driving 2 hours to get a used one.
Since we entered quickly we were received very kind. Ms. Sharon took care of us, she was very patient and helpful; she gave us an excellent treatment. 100 recommended.
BEWARE!!! Don’t buy anything from Ashley they will take your money and send you broken furniture or u gotta wait 6 month. Customer service is trash on hold for 2+ hours!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!
Poor service after the sell. Got premium delivery, they tore our new floor by sliding the couch across it. Then got made at us and left. Now Ashley is refusing to do anything about the floor.
Still waiting on my furniture I ordered in July that was rescheduled for delivery due to delay...I spoke to the general manager and was offered a partial refund once the furniture arrives for the inconvenience. I’ll update my review when/if my furniture is finally delivered and said refund is processed

I did not add my review right away in order to really evaluate my whole Ashley experience from browsing, to pre-order, delivery, and repair. I didn't originally choose Ashey bc I had purchased the brand years before and it was a lower end quality and didn't realize they had higher tier quality. I decided to go into the Home Store and was impressed by the quality and style that I saw, but I still shopped around. I went to several non-chain local stores, as well as looked at Haverty's, American Signature, and Rooms to Go...and although I know Haverty's is excellent quality and customer service, they just didn't have all the variety that I saw at Ashley, American Signature and Rooms To Go didn't have the variety although they are similar in quality. I didn't want high-end and the cost (Haverty's), but did want reasonable quality and many options to choose from style wise, so Ashley seemed to be the right fit. Providentially, Sharon was my salesperson and she is just incredible! She really listens to you and knows her stuff. She will help you find the best style for what you need and is very patient and has just the sweetest and most positive personality. You will love her! Regarding patience...I picked out what I wanted around October of 2019 and didn't get my delivery until April 2020--yes, during the pandemic! I changed my mind many times, had delays due to moving, and also better sales came up, and they always worked with me to get the best price with the best discount and financing. The managers, Kyle and Nik, were both nice and patient as well to deal with all these changes bc they have to approve all the adjustments in price, etc. Due to Covid-19, there are some delays with delivery, but Sharon was able to get a local person to deliver, so that I could get my order right away, and the cost was deducted from the total bill. The were some fixable defects in the furniture, and Sharon was able to get the technician to come within a few weeks to get things repaired; there's nothing perfect in this world, but Ashley will make everything right especially if you have a great salesperson like Sharon who is not just about the sale, but the follow-through and she even checked on me to see how things were going throughout the whole process of delivery to repair. My furniture is just what I wanted--good quality and reasonable, at the best price, and financing that you just can't get anywhere else.
We decided to go to Ashley HomeStore @ Mall of GA to purchased a Sectional set of sofas and a bed for our new home, after previous good experience purchase in this store and using the product. We were attended by the Sales Rep. Nicoleta. We select the sectional set and ended up buying the end tables as well to go with it, as well as a Full Bed. When we were placing the order, we asked her MULTIPLE times to confirm the delivery date for us, because we had no furniture we wanted to have them as soon as possible and because the COVID-19 situation we were totally aware that it would take longer than normal, and she was very sure that they will be delivering September 1st, she confirmed multiple times that the date was accurate and that, the Bed and the tables were in stock but the Sectional was in backorder, otherwise she will be able to send all right away. We agreed to wait until September 1st to get all delivered. So, the day came and nobody call or contact me, so I text Nicoleta to ask for the Window time of delivery since I was leaving work to be there for the delivery, she answered me little later telling me that she will check and confirm back... when she got back with me her Text said that the Bed and Tables will be delivered by September 26th and the Sofa in October. Just like that! There was no call or no msg to let us know of the delay. We asked why the miscommunication and she just apologize and let us know that if we want to cancel the order, we had to go at the store. We did and it was even worst that we though since the CS representative that helped us couldn't understand why the date of September 1st was given, and even confirmed that the Bed's Headboard was backordered as well as the sofa, with a delivery date after Oct. 14th, which could be even until next year if the case. Nicoleta was trying to make up excuses and lies saying that she meant to say October 1st, but her handwriting was in the Confirmation with the date as Sept. 1st. Very very disappointed of the terrible buying process. She was very quick to make the sale based in lies and that's totally unacceptable, nobody should be "forced" into buying something under lies and false promises. So be aware, don't let them lie to you. We ended up buying our Sectional in Rooms to go with a better delivery even than Sept. 26th. Super disappointed, we could have our sofa right now if she'd been truthful and gave us the opportunity to find what we needed at the time that we needed it. We lost 3 weeks waiting for nothing. And Time is the most valuable thing that people has.
