This store is beautifully decorated! The staff at the store were very informative, attentive to my needs and budget. I would give this store a 10 star rating if possible.. Don't let the negative comments deter you, go in and check it out for yourself. My experience has been great!
Never have I given a review or a bad post, but here goes: my delivery time was set for 3pm until 7 pm. It is currently 8:50pm. I have called to find out where my delivery is...only to have an automated system answer and put me on hold for 31 minutes. I finally hung up and called the Buford store directly. I was immediately put on hold for 10 minutes. Called back. Asked to speak to a manager and was given the office manager. He is trying to help and will call back when he finds the delivery truck. At 10 till 8 he calls and says they are 15 minutes away. It is now 8:50. No delivery truck and nobody answers the Buford location phone. I have called them 5 times in a row. I will never use these people again. This is totally unprofessional. We have waited for 6 hours for this delivery and it is still not here and no word on where it is .
Nicoletta was our sales rep back in June. She was wonderful and provided great customer service. We purchased our furniture on June 26th 2019 and it was delivered by August 6th. We spent $7446.58 in cash on furniture to furnish our new home. Practically everything was damaged except for the dining room set and server. My damaged furniture issues have not yet been resolved. I have been very patient with customer care. A technician was sent out to look at the furniture. He was supposed to order parts for the dresser, chest, bench and nightstands. Three weeks later still no parts. I called customer care and was told I had to wait for the parts to arrive and they will send another tech out to repair the furniture. A couple weeks later I called customer care to inform them that I had not received the parts, the customer service rep informed me that my work order had been closed so she put in another work order. She said someone would be contacting me with a date as to when the technician would be coming out. I did not hear back since so I called back, again the workorder was closed. They put in another workorder then the tech was sent out without notification, so we were not home. I called again and was told someone will call me with a reschedule date for the tech. I didn’t get a call. I have been going through this since August. It has been 3 months now since our furniture has been delivered. Technician did not follow through; my repeated work orders have been closed without resolution. So, we decided to go into store this past Saturday 11/23 hoping we get the issue resolved. I was supposed to get a call with a date that the technician would be coming out to look at our living room set and also a delivery date for the replacements. I called the store on 11/26 and spoke with Joseph he was supposed to call me back, but he didn’t. I called back in the evening and was kept on hold with no assistance for more than 15 minutes so I hung up. I sent the sales rep a text (she gave me her number when we were at the store on Saturday) letting her know what happened. MY PATIENCE HAS RUN OUT! Below are the details and pictures of the damaged furniture. I was not able to post the video of the living room set. By the way I ended up buying another living room set from Rooms To Go. It is obvious that Ashley will not get this resolved any time soon. - The drawers on the nightstands, dresser, and chest do not close all the way they are slanted. The chest is chipped behind one of the drawers which we didn’t notice it the tech did. - The storage bench doors are uneven and make a lot of noise. - When you sit on the sofa and chair you sink in low. The left arm of the chair will sink in when you put your elbow on it feels like there’s a hole. We are two meticulous adults in our 50s not obese. We don’t have any pets or small children living at home. The living room furniture should be in better shape it is obviously defective. - The “Stearns & Foster” box spring arrived with two huge holes on the center it was exchanged but the exchange was also damaged has a tear on the end, see picture below. I have received VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE from Ashley’s Customer Care center and most recently from the Buford Store. I am not at all satisfied with my furniture. My experience with Ashley has been a total nightmare. Don’t waste your time & money.
I wish I could rate this as a zero. This review is particularly for the Ashley's two of the sales reps. Initially, when we went to look for a mattress there, the staff greeted us. The rep seemed friendly, but not very informative of the product they were trying to sell. He also told us there was free shipping and no hauling fee today for the old mattress. We were aware of the free shipping as well due to the website. There were a few specs related information that was not on the website that we requested. The sales rep who didn't know any of the information, went to the manager/colleague and came back with him. We encountered two salesman with completely different attitude when they returned. Both were rude and dismissive of our questions. (One of the questions we asked was about individlly wrapped coils. The first salesman said they had regular spring, the other said there were individually wrapped coils. We followed up with if he knew the count of the coils. The manager was trying to be sassy and responded "No, I don't know. Do you? Yeah, sorry can't help you there.") We knew at that time, they weren't interested in our business. In that short span of time, there was also a shipping charge involved. We politely ended the conversation and they both left from the area. When we were leaving, one of the guy saw us, but didn't care to say goodbye. The last nail in the coffin was when they saw my dad limping because of an injury, the first guy we talked to went in the corner, stared at us, and smiled/laughed. I could never figure out what went wrong?! I wished I had gone back and complained about the last part. This will probably be my last time at Ashley. I never realized customer service expectations from the sales reps were so low. I can even forgive for the rude customer service, but don't think there is an excuse to laugh/smile at a limping old man.
DO NOT RECOMMEND - LOOK ELSEWHERE! I would give a 0 star if I could. Purchased a table, chairs, ottoman, and sectional. The buying process was easy BUT they quoted me a delivery fee for a premiere service was charged $70 extra without being notified. Once the premiere delivery service showed up, they were completely unprofessional, didnt bring bolts to build the table, scratched my brand new floors, and couldn't fix any of the problems they caused. Broke a tree in my yard with their Ryder truck.. just absolute worst delivery experience ever. Then after all this the store was zero help. On both store and corporate level. Very sad this is how they do service!
Upon arriving we were greeted promptly, and all of the interaction had within the store at time of purchase was great. That portion gets 5/5 stars. It's the way that a few different things were handled afterwards that I wasn't, and am still not, pleased with. First, a few days after purchasing I noticed on my receipt that I had been charged incorrectly for delivery. I was charged $60 more than what was discussed. I called multiple times to try to talk to a manager over the phone about the discrepancy. I was told I had to come to the store if I wanted to speak to the manager. They did get everything corrected and the $60 credited back once I went into the store, but it was definitely something that could have been handled over the phone. I'm still not sure why I was asked to come in for that. Then delivery day came- the two guys that delivered the furniture were awesome, above and beyond helpful and friendly- this was no fault of theirs, but one of the items in my order was not available for delivery, and no one let us know ahead of time. All of the furniture I did receive was in new condition, though. I was relieved after reading some of the reviews about furniture arriving completely wrong, or damaged. I will say that the couch I ordered feels VERY different from the one I sat on multiple times in the showroom. I completely understand that it's new, and the one in the showroom has been broken in, but this is a huge difference. I guess I should have done more research on the couch before purchasing, but you live and learn I guess. I'm sad I thought I was getting a cozy couch perfect for naps and friends sleeping over, but instead I got a VERY uncomfortable couch. It isn't even close to what we sat on in the store. It is now more than 24 hours past the delivery and I still have not been given any information on when the missing item will be delivered. Overall the experience wasn't horrible, but there are definitely some processes that may need to be changed so that some things are handled a bit better for other customers in the future.
Very pricey. I do not understand why you have to jump thru hoops to get the best possible price for furniture. We have been researching a double recliner and dining set. Ashley Furniture makes the double recliner and online it is 1500.00 dollars less expensive. The sales staff obviously work on commission because every one that comes thru the door get this sales person who is salivating to see how much money they can get out of you! I hate it. While she was willing to drop the price, it was still not what it was online. While I will order the recliner and dining set from Amazon to save around 600.00, I will have to assemble it myself. I think 600.00 savings is worth assembling them myself.
Worst experience! First I received a broken and dented dresser. They then wanted to send someone out to fix a BRAND NEW dresser! I don’t want a new dresser fixed- he comes and he can’t fix it the part has to now be ordered. The part takes weeks to come, so they finally agree to send out a new dresser- that dresser arrives and guess what?!? Yup! It’s damaged too!! So now they agree to give half the money back and send a new dresser!! Guess what the new dresser doesn’t show on the delivery date! They set up another delivery date and this one shows up with a gash in the front! I will never order from Ashley again and still waiting for half my $ to be returned and at this point I should get a full refund!!! 😡
Found a few cute decorative pieces, but later discovered after delivery and use, the quality of their furniture is very poor
I went to the store three different times looking at the same sofa. On the third time I was going to purchase and they said that it was discontinued. It had only been a month since I had first gone in. Well we decided on a different one. It was delivered. The chase cushion had catches in it and I called immediately. I was on hold for over 30 mins and the person I talked to was totally Incompetent. I sent her all the pictures she needed and she still didn’t understand that there was a tear in my chase. Two weeks later I got my new one delivered, I opened it up and she sent me the inside like the actual cushion part instead of the cover. I’m beyond ticked. The store couldn’t help me and customer service was dense. Don’t waste your time because they will not make their mistakes right.
Very Poor customer service . If I can do , I won't even given one star. They should be Zero star. I went to the store and ordered my son's bedroom set in labor day weekend . It's been more than two months, they still could not able to put bed together. They came almost 5 times and every time they have some part missing or defective part which they have to take it back. Along with that, many times, they texted and told us they will come for delivery but they never showed up and I have to take the time off from the work, loosing time and Money and stayed home from 3 pm- 8 pm and then at the end, at 8.00 pm , after several calls , I found out that they are not coming today. I could not understand what kind of services do they provide and when calling to customer service, they transfer to different people and ultimately they say that store people will call to take care of the problem but no body call. I am so tired that I told them last time to pick up their furniture and we will buy from another store. Everything - metal frames, wood rails , nails are laying down in the room since last two months and we have to use the room like that. I am afraid , my 6 years old son can get hurt by opened metal frames. I would never buy from Ashley anymore. This is the extremely bad service one can ever get .
I purchased a King Bed Room set from the ashley furniture store in Buford Georgia for a little over 2 grand. The first available delivery date was two weeks away from purchase, but considering it was being delivered around my birthday, I was like iight cool. So on the day of delivery the movers brought the bed in and the head board was cracked. I am like really after waiting two weeks you bring me a broken head board. So they informed it would take two more weeks before I could get another one. On the second visit they brought another head board and it was Damaged as well. I called my sales rep to let him know of my frustrations and the a-hole said just sleep on the mattress. He showed no sense of urgency or concerned after I had just spent 2500 dollars with him. So after all that I waited for the third visit only this time they showed up with no hardware to put the bed together. I was so mad that I called the store again to ask for a discount or could they throw in another night stand for my troubles. A month to get a bed and all you can say is sleep on the mattress. I will not recommend this place nor will I shop at this particular Ashley’s again.
Great prices and fantastic discounts. Wonderful sale people like Mir.
I see that there are some negative reviews, but please read them carefully as sometimes this is a customer issues vs the store itself. That being said, every business has their good and bad moments. All I can do is share my recent experience. I am moving soon and went in to look at bedroom furniture to replace my current set. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Brittany was fantastic! She was a joy to work with, and the experience was very positive. Hopefully there will not be any hiccups in delivery. Great prices, great associates, and I am pleased.
Karen was very patient and really listened to what I was saying. Karen worked very hard to help me find the right peices for my home. I will be back to purchase more furniture from Karen.
I must say I am very disappointed in how Ashley Furniture's staff at the Buford Mall of Georgia location reacted and responded to a situation that happened to me yesterday. I went there yesterday to get warranty info on a chair I had purchased a year ago. After they were very helpful to give me the information, I then proceeded to walk around the store because I'm also interested in replacing a sofa I currently have. I was fine that nobody was helping me because I was only browsing at that point. I had noticed that most of the sofa's had the back pillow piece attached versus being loose. I was disappointed because it always seems to rip after a while when people sit down and it pulls the back forward. I then noticed a sofa that the back was all one piece, no attachment or so it seemed. I went to look closer at it because I was very interested at this point. I noticed there was a large gap between the two pieces on the side of the back. When I put my hand there to see what that was there was something very sharp that ripped a piece of skin off of my finger. I thought initially it was just a surface scrap but when I continued browsing I noticed my finger was bleeding and there was a piece of skin dangling from my finger that was cut. My finger at this point was bleeding a lot. When I went up to the sales desk to ask for a tissue or band-aid because the blood was dripping down my finger, I told them what happened; that there was a sofa that cut me and I was trying to explain to them where the sofa was so they could go over and look at it and make sure it got fixed so no one else would get cut. They all seemed to have zero interest in finding out what sofa let alone where the very sharp piece of metal was that sliced my finger. At that point I just walked out of the store in total disbelief at the lack of concern the sales staff had. They never even asked me if I was ok. My finger is now red and infected. I'm hoping I don't need a tetanus shot since it was cut on metal. I will never purchase another thing from this store. They have zero concern for a customer's well being.
Experience in store was very good...salesman very helpful and no high pressure. Paying $140 for set up is excessive (it took 10 minutes)... especially since they won't remove the old piece.
This company has 0 customer service. They deliver the first time a damage piece of furniture than the second time they deliver the wrong one. When you call customer service, you get transferred to India or Pakistan to someone that doesn't speek english. The store manager Kyle has a very poor attitude and doesn't care about taking care of customers issues. I will highly advice everyone to buy somewhere else. The first picture should be my piece missing in the second picture. Incompetence!!!!
Great customer service
