This has been one of the most unacceptable and frustrating customer experiences I have ever encountered. To be clear, the sales team was professional and helpful. Unfortunately, everything after the sale—specifically the delivery and so-called “white glove” service—has been an absolute failure. The mattress and bed frame were delivered on the promised date; however, the base was not. While the white glove delivery team was still in my home completing the setup, I immediately contacted customer service regarding the missing base. I was informed by the representative that the item was on backorder and that there was no confirmed delivery date. Despite repeated assurances and multiple promised delivery dates, the base was not delivered for nearly three additional weeks. During this time, I was forced to sleep with my mattress on the floor, which is completely unacceptable after paying in full for a bedroom set and professional delivery and installation services. When the delivery team finally arrived with the base, it was immediately evident that they did not know how to properly assemble the bed frame. Due to a communication barrier, they contacted a family friend by phone to translate rather than having qualified personnel capable of completing the installation. Throughout the process, they appeared confused, installed incorrect components in the wrong areas, and rushed through the assembly without properly inspecting their work. I have photographic documentation supporting these issues. Less than 24 hours after delivery, the bed frame snapped in the middle and completely collapsed. This was extremely alarming and posed a serious safety risk. A brand-new base should never fail in this manner. The failure was clearly due to improper installation, not normal use. What makes this situation even more concerning is the lack of urgency, accountability, or resolution that followed. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this matter, I have received no acceptable response. I was contacted by a store associate named Viv from the Stonecrest location, where the purchase was made, and was promised delivery on December 30. I received no follow-up communication, and no delivery occurred on that date. When I contacted the store and requested to speak with a manager, I was told they were in a meeting and would return my call. I never received a call. I followed up again the next day and was still unable to speak with a manager or receive any assistance. As a result of these failures, I am now forced to sleep elsewhere, despite having paid for furniture and installation services that were never properly completed. At this point, I am formally demanding a full refund, including all delivery and white glove service fees. I also request that all furniture be removed from my residence. Anything less is unacceptable. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate this matter to Ashley Furniture corporate leadership, file formal complaints, and pursue legal options related to unsafe installation, product failure, and lack of resolution. No customer should be placed in a dangerous situation or displaced from their home due to negligence and poor service. Ashley Furniture must seriously reevaluate its delivery contractors, training standards, and accountability processes. Paying extra for white glove service should provide peace of mind—not broken furniture, safety hazards, weeks of inconvenience, and disregard once an issue arises. Again, the sales team fulfilled their responsibilities. However, the delivery and white glove service has been an absolute failure, and I strongly caution others against trusting this aspect of the company. Do NOT buy any beds or mattresses from these crooks. I bought a very expensive mattress and base from the store in October. The salesman assured me that the mattress came with a comfort guarantee and if I didn’t like the feel of it I would be able to reselect. I called one week after my purchase to tell the salesman Ricco that I wasn’t happy with the quality of the mattress. He assured me that if I waited 30 days I could exchange. That made no sense to me but I went along with it. Over a month and a half later and I’m still trying to make a reselection. The store and corporate office have been giving me the run around only to deny my comfort guarantee. Had I known that the salesman Ricco told me a bunch of nonsense I would have never went with that mattress. How would I KNOW about a comfort guarantee if someone at the store didn’t tell me about it? Will take legal action- don’t BUY FROM THIS STORE.

Defective Product NIGHTMARE. BEWARE THEY WILL ONLY OFFER REPAIR NOT REFUND. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I purchased a reclining chair from Ashley Furniture that was delivered on December 11, 2025. Because I work 12‑hour shifts, I wasn’t able to thoroughly inspect it until December 18. The moment I finally had time to sit in it, I realized something was wrong — the footrest did not extend the way it was supposed to. It barely came out and certainly not like the model I tested in the store. To make sure I wasn’t mistaken, I went back to the showroom and checked the floor model myself. I even asked the sales associate to confirm how far the footrest should extend. Sure enough, the floor model worked perfectly — nothing like the service member. Once I got home, I called the store. A woman by the name of Avis Slogan answered. I explained the situation and instead of listening or offering help, this woman focused on lecturing me about how long the chair had been in my home, as if that somehow excused the fact that it arrived defective. The tone, the attitude, and the complete lack of professionalism were unacceptable. No customer should be treated that way for reporting a legitimate problem. I then proceeded to call the store again, to which the main customer service office answered. I explained the situation again. I requested a refund for a product that was clearly not functioning as intended. Instead of taking responsibility, the representative insisted on sending a service technician to my home. I declined. I was then told that Ashley Furniture “does not offer refunds,” only repairs or replacements. So essentially, they delivered a faulty product and expect the customer to just deal with it.
