My husband and I came in on a cool slowww Wednesday night. 3 employees sat around and continued their laughing and conversations without once offering us help or even saying hello. We were in the store for at least 30 minutes. No one approached us and as we left, same thing didn't even say thanks or anything. We have purchased from Ashley in the past and was excited about our visit. New management? We will spend our money elsewhere.
I ordered furniture on October 8th 2024 paying all money up front and still have not received my furniture as of December 3rd. I’ve had to call 4 times to get ever changing updates with no email text or phone call from Ashley. I finally canceled my order as of today and got sorry for your experience sir.

If I could give this store a negative rating, I would. This experience with buying furniture has been the absolute worst with the Savannah location. I bought furniture in early October, and it still won't be delivered in until November 20th. I was promised it was going to be delivered in 4 weeks. I paid in full (no financing), called the store multiple times, and spoke with the sales employee several times to find out what the delay was. I was told my furniture was going to be expedited and it wasn't. The assistant store manager was not aware of anything until today and tells me they cannot get my furniture delivered before the 20th even though all items are in stock. She asks me if I want a refund, and I explain I would like one but also would like my furniture delivered soon than the 20th. She was willing to just refund my money and not deal with trying to help get my furniture delivered sooner after waiting so long. I asked to speak with corporate manager, and she told me that I could call them after rudely talking over me until I had to tell her to stop. Terrible customer service! Do not buy furniture from this location or any Ashley Furniture location. They do not value customers and just want to take their money. After they have your money, they don't care how long it takes for your furniture to get to you.

I stopped by Ashley to look for bedroom furniture for a small guest room and Trevon Watson was so wonderful to work with! It’s hard to find furniture for a full sized bed but Ashley had the best selection compared to other stores I looked at. Trevon helped me pick out a furniture arrangement that worked best for my needs and the prices were reasonable too. His customer service was top notch and he was so accommodating. Ask for Trevon when you go to Ashley!
I had a great experience furniture shopping (a thing most dread) at Ashley, and that is all due to the great service from Jay. He made the process incredibly easy and was instrumental in helping me choose everything I needed to fill out an entire apartment. What could have taken a whole day on my own only took an hour or two because of his help and expertise. I would definitely recommend coming to this store and seeking his help.
After searching online and in other stores and consignment shops, I found everything I needed to furnish a guest room, as well as the outdoor furniture I was seeking. Immediately upon arriving into Ashley, I was greeted by Isabelle Stokes who patiently listened and offered several collections from which to choose. She was careful to ensure my requirements were met and did not try to sell me anything I was not looking for. Her professionalism was evident throughout my entire visit and was also demonstrated towards her colleagues. Isabelle's friendly demeanor and knowledgeable sales approach afforded me the selection and buying process I was in search of. She also offered the reassurance of a protection plan to cover all of the items in my transaction. I am a very satisfied customer thanks to Miss Stokes and her team at Ashley.

My son and I went to Ashley Store, he was interested in looking at their bed selection. Isabelle ended up being our sales person. She was an excellent store sales person and went out of her way in moving around the mattress and frames until my son found the perfect one he liked. Really disappointed in the service provided post in-store purchase. Furniture arrived broken upon shipment. Have not been able to receive call-backs and a total lack of communication and urgency on their part. They were very quick to inform me they do NO RETURNS for ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. Keep that in mind. My $600 live edge wood table arrived with a crack down the center and they informed me from the pictures it was just a paint issue and they may fill it. I would have not spent $600 on a damaged table with a fill in the center. The only plus has been the in-person sales rep we worked with worked hard to get us the furniture at a timely manner. Save your money and buy from a local furniture store. I wish I had not had to learn this mistake
We had a great experience today shopping for a couch. Our beagle chewed up our old couch, so I didn’t want to spend a ton on a new one. Stormie informed us of their great pet protection so we were a little more comfortable finding a couch we actually loved instead of just something we could deal with. She was absolutely amazing and patient the entire time. Not only with my husband and my indecisiveness, but my three kids energy. My toddler immediately took to her and she was So patient and kind to him. By the time we left it was like they were best friend. She was extremely informative on Every couch we wanted to look at, had 0 issues with us revisiting multiple couches Multiple times. Truly immaculate service. 10/10 would recommend. Superior to our last couch buying experience (which was rooms to go and was awful).

Then she showed us how to transformed the piece which allowed us to finalize our decision on purchasing the furniture. Isabelle showed so much patience because some decisions are not easily made. However, she made the process simple through her hilarious sense of humor! In all we were satisfied customers.

When we first came in, we had an amazing experience. Our most recent experience was absolutely terrible. This has nothing to do with the man that helped us, Mr. Rob. He was a delight. My problem was with the female general manager and one of the male store associates. We were encountered with problems and they were absolutely not helpful. They were rude and very distasteful. Instead of helping Mr. Rob figure out the problem they sat back and didn’t offer any help to us. Ashley’s is a good store and they have good furniture but whoever manages that store needs training in hospitality. I will never come back to Ashley’s after this experience and do not ever wish to come back. Go to the other Ashely’s in Savannah or go to Rooms to Go. We had a much better experience there.

Went in looking for an adjustable bed frame for my pregnant wife. Upon entering, I was immediately helped by stormie. Told her my desires and specifications and she walked me straight to what I described. A very smart and approachable lady. Not your typical sales associate, tells you how it is and WHY it is. The absolute worst experience I've ever had buying furniture! Ordered furniture, was told we would have it delivered in 2 weeks, it took 4 months to get it all delivered. Then they delivered messed up furniture. Broken & paint chipping off. Waited to have new set ordered, but then the new set came broken too. Drawers broken, paint scratched & chipped, handles broken off, etc. So now having to wait AGAIN to have new set delivered. 6 months after ordering & still dont have the nice furniture I thought I paid for! Over $13k worth of furniture! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Hans and Blake were a dynamic duo at Ashley Furniture on Abercorn in Savannah. Hans handled business on the phone and answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns that I had. Blake greeted us upon our arrival at the store. He took us around the store to show us every piece that I wanted to see and he even found items that I liked just as much. I will definitely come back to this location again.
My husband and I purchased the Foyland tv on 2/03/2024 not only did it take 2 months to be delivered but there was no hardware in the box to assemble the TV stand. I contact customer service and hardware was mailed out to us , which took 2 weeks to receive and when I open the package it was still missing some of the hardware. Now it's April 21st and I'm still waiting on hardware that I had to call about for the second time. This is very very aggravating. I'm paying for something that I can't even assemble the TV stand yet because of your team careless work. How hard is it to make sure all of the hardware is the box. I wish I could choose no star

My husband and I had been couch shopping for 2 weeks till we finally bit the bullet and drove to Savannah to check out all the stores there. Ashley was the only store with multiple options, great quality, and kind customer service. The sales manager came over to introduce himself and make sure everything was going well for us, and our design consultant, Stormie, was extremely helpful. I had purchased a couch that turned out to be too big for the space and within six minutes she texted me back and said she’d get everything worked out first thing in the morning! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone in need of furnishing their space.

Turns out it now won't be arriving until closer to the 30th. We have already disposed of our previous couch and now we are without. I didn’t walk in expecting to make a purchase, only looking at new bed frames, but he was so knowledgeable and helpful that I ended up purchasing a bed frame from the catalog after he showed me the fabric swatch and ran me through the details. He also providing very helpful interior design input when I struggled to choose between two, running me through the pros and cons of each. He made something as daunting as purchasing new furniture quick and easy.

Stormie was so great and really listened to what I said I needed in a new sectional because of my fibro and back disorders. We sat on a lot then we made our way around and I spotted one just as she said that one was really soft. It was like sitting on a cloud and I was so happy. Sam (Mgr) whispered something to Stormie and she looked at me and said he just offered a large discount if I bought that day. It was an offer too good to walk away from so I bought it that day!! They were both spectacular to work with and will go back to them next time I need something. I ordered a dresser during memorial day sale on september 5th. They said it should be shipped to me in 2-3 weeks. I never heard from them again and my dresser never arrived. Went into the store 2 more times in person to politely inquire about my order, each time the people working there just told me it hasnt arrived to their store for some reason and to wait for longer. They couldnt give me a tracking number because it wasnt evem shipped. No explaination on what the problem was. Finally I went in on October 16 to ask for a refund. The guy apologized and said he will process my refund and to expect a call from their coporate office to comfirm. It is now October 19 and I never got the call or recieved the refund. Absolutely terrible customer service from Ashley so Im opening a charge dispute through my bank. Will never consider wasting money & time with Ashley ever again.

I'm back to say this....I WILL NEVER EVER EVER BUY FROM ASHLEY'S AGAIN!!! THE MOST INCOMPETENT PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. First they brought us the wrong bed. Then we did an exchange, second time they came without parts of the new bed. So I've had the wrong bed and a partial bed sitting in my bedroom for over a month!!!! They were supposed to deliver our bed today and guess what....they can't now it'll be Thursday. Do yourself a favor and spare yourself a headache. Jonathan made a good sale, but everything after has been a damn nightmare.

Surprisingly large store room had the item I saw online. The team was willing to match online prices and sales. Jack was very patient as I hemmed & hawed and changed my sofa configuration a few times. He was helpful, professional and friendly. I never felt like he was hovering or pressuring. It was easy and relaxed furniture shopping. The day I was ready to purchase I was helped by Blake, who continued the same relaxed, friendly but professional service.
Wasnt really planning on buying anything that day since i was mostly checking to see prices. However Jayden was super helpful and found me a sofa that was perfect for my apartment and still in my price range since im a college student and needed something more affordable. Highly recommend going when their are holiday sales as well.

Customer service upon purchase was excellent. The furniture set-up and quality is awful. I ordered a bedroom set and when I asked the delivery men to place the dresser where I wanted it, they told me they measured and it was too big. I told them, I measured also and it will fit. The dresser fit and after my husband and I placed the mattress and box spring on the bed, the flimsy slats to hold the mattress snapped in half. I immediately phoned and one week later they phoned to set up delivery of the same flimsy pieces that were broken. 5 days after delivery while sweeping under the bed, a part of the wood chipped off the bed post.This was truly a disaster of new furniture!

Still playing the Jack the price up sales game. I thought after 4-5 years they would practice a little more honesty. Prices are jacked up for sales and during these sales they offer “huge discounts.” Do not buy here. Take my challenge and pay attention to prices during regular days. Make a note or even take a picture of the furniture skew and price. Then go back during a holiday sale and look for the same piece or set and you’ll see exactly what I am talking about. Disgusting and I hate it because they have really nice stuff. Just hate the dishonesty.

OMG ! Where do I start ? Blake was simply amazing, from the moment we walked in . His friendly greeting , in depth knowledge of the store and the products . Listened to what I was looking for and how I wanted it designed or set up . Gave me financing options , hoped on the phone and made some phone calls so we can get it delivered sooner. I enjoyed my experience with Ashley. Our sales associate Stormie Funk was awesome. She even came in early to assist us with our purchasing (we came in the second day to purchase). The only reason why I am not giving a 5 star experience is because there were some issues with the furniture (not resolved just yet so I am anxious to see how customer care is going to handle the issues). I am also slightly irritated with a gentleman named William at the store. That same day we came back to relook at the furniture and Stormie had left for the day and it almost felt like William who nicely greeted us at the door was trying to steal her commission. He also said this promotion ($150 off or whatever it was) was going to end tonight. Well the next day we came back to purchase, and I asked Stormie about it and she said no it did not expire. So I didn't appreciate being lied to by him. Anyway, overall great stuff, it only took a week to deliver and not 3-4 weeks like were quoted. Delivery guys were nice and respectful. A few hiccups with the furniture but I'm hoping customer care will do right by us.
I am from out of town and having purchased a new home in Pooler, I was looking for a bedroom suit. The day I stopped into Ashley's, recognizing the name, I was warmly greeted by Salesperson Mr. Jack Sparrow. He did the stats and I informed him that I would think about it. A week later, I approached the store and requested Mr. Sparrow who readily recognized me with the same courtesy as before and we completed the purchase. Prior to purchase, he allowed me the freedom to look at other choices of which and explained each in detail. Mr. Sparrow exhibited patience in my decision making leaving me with the feeling he had given me the best price possible. Thank you Mr. Sparrow for a job well done.

Everything seems ok for 2 months, then the sofa where it got fixed started to fall apart. The staples where they hold the fabric start to fall off! and the sofa starts to sink in! This is an $800 Two-seater sofa! I contacted customer service. And I was told that Ashley furniture is locally owned, as I no longer live in their local service area. There is nothing they can do. So they suggested I find someone locally to fix it at my own cost, even though the sofa is still under 1-year manufacturer warranty! This is the first time we shop at Ashley Furniture. And surely this is the last time we buy anything from them!

I was in the process of moving and I needed some new furniture. When I first walked in I was kindly greeted by the staff. The associate that assisted me was Will Sparrow. He was very kind and patient. At the time I was still unsure of what I wanted. He took me around the store and we were able to narrow down my options in terms of color and fabric. I still wanted to go home to think about it before I made the purchase. I told him I would come back the next day. When I got back I had made up my mind and I was ready to finalize my order. Will and Jay (his manager) were very nice and professional. They had excellent customer service and I am very pleased with my visit. Overall a 10/10 I would highly recommend. I am horribly unimpressed with this location. I bought over 10K worth of merchandise in Oct and all I asked for was a monthly update. I was told my mattress and base would be in around November and I could get them first and the rest of my furniture would be around end of December. I received not one update. Come beginning of December I finally get my mattress and dining room set only for my dining room set to be damaged after over 8 weeks of waiting. Then get told I can keep it and get a $100 gift card, that doesn't even come close to what I spent on it! Then come end of December, my nightstand, dresser and bed come and ARE DAMAGED. A technician is supposed to come look at it a MONTH LATER and has changed the time 3-4 times and when I stated I wouldn't be home during an hour because I have to get my kids, he basically said oh well you'll have to reschedule if I miss you. I would absolutely never buy here or recommend anyone. This was the worst service and quality I have ever received from an Ashleys store.

I purchased a lot of Ashley furniture from my local furniture store. The furniture was great quality. The problem is the pieces didn’t come with enough screws and hardware to put it together. The hardware comes inside the box and has nothing to do with the local furniture store I purchased it from. However, it is 3 days prior to Xmas and I needed a repair or replacement. I am a disabled Veteran and can not move furniture on my own. The local store I purchased it from some how fixed it but can’t deliver it. Now I have the responsibility of trying to hire someone else to deliver it! I won’t make the mistake of purchasing from either one again!
Will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! I placed an order in October that would arrive in November (about 3 weeks). The delivery guys arrived with our furniture only to say "it doesn't fit" so we returned it and placed another order in November and we've still not received it! I am LIVID!!!!!!!!! I won't be back!

The customer service was fantastic and the overall experience of shopping at Ashley was outstanding. Hans is honest and helpful in finding the right products. Since moving near Savannah, I have found a furniture store that I like a lot and will definitely be back. Big fan of Ashley Furniture HomeStore of Savannah, GA and if I could I would rate this business 10 out of 10 stars but the limit on Google Reviews is 5 stars. (1/22/23) Very happy with my first time buying a bedroom set from Ashley of Savannah, GA. Hans M. did a great job showing me all of the different options I was interested in and answered all questions concerning product availability, shipping and handling, paperwork, etc. Overall, I was pleased with Hans M.’s professionalism, product knowledge, and customer service. In addition, everyone else was friendly and polite as well. My experience of doing business with Ashley of Savannah, GA was superb and I highly recommend doing business with Ashley of Savannah, GA for furniture needs. (12/19/22)

literally never making a next purchase here unless they have the product in house to deliver the next day. I've made a purchase there from July and it's been 19 weeks now and I haven't gotten my order and I was told I would get everything in 12- 14 weeks. every time I call making enquires I still can't get a definate answer when my bedroom appliances will be ready and delivered 😡😡😡😡

I went into Ashley and was greeted by a gentleman name Sam and he was very informative on the furniture and prices in the store. He sold me a living room set and I am forever grateful for the customer service he provided and the price point he gave me! Sam is the best! 5 stars!
Best couch buying experience around. We were quoted price during a sale, what it would be with and without financing interest. Quickly we’re approved, Blake went over all the protection and paperwork with us and we were out the door in no time. Highly recommend.

Kinda pricey and selection was alright. Not that thrilled with my visit. Sales was helpfull though by answering questions and showing me around.

My family and I experienced poor customer service this evening. Upon entering the establishment, nobody greeted us. Five minutes after walking around, Mr. Carter walked up to us to inform us they closed in 30 minutes. After telling us something we already knew, he never asked if there was any way he could help or if we knew what we were looking for. To expedite our time in the store he should have assisted or found someone to assist. After walking around and taking pictures of what we were interested in, we left the store and were still never approached by anyone. While walking out, Mr. Carter and another gentleman stood at the front of store and did not say a word….poor customer service and manners.

Just so it is understood they can not book your delivery date when you make your purchase which to me is insane. If you are selling a product you should be able to give a delivery date so you can set expectations. They have nice furniture but I will not buy from here for that reason. I drove an hour to Denmark to buy the same table for hundreds of dollars cheaper with a delivery date in hand day of purchase.

Hans was awesome! Unlike most furniture stops, he greeted us, and left us to do our own thing, checking in briefly until we found what we wanted. He was straight to the point, honest and up front about everything from shipping times to financing options. Only thing I could see being a bother for some is some furniture like one of what we chose has a wait time of over 6+ weeks, while that doesn’t bother me, it could be an inconvenience to others. Other than that, the experience was super pleasant!
I am so unsatisfied with the customer service. I would not recommend them to get furniture from. I have been getting the run around about the furniture that Ive ordered early September since since last week now. I’ve been told something different everytime I call. I’ve been getting attitudes left and right. I was quoted the wrong dates. I’m just ready to be done with them. Worse experience ever and I won’t be getting anything else from them.
Stopped in today needing lots of furniture. Being out all day, I had to use the restroom immediately. Just inside the door Jonathan greeted us and told me yes, they do have a restroom. He continued to want to talk about the furniture we needed. I said ALL furniture, where is the bathroom?! He replied, "but first" to which I replied, "I'm pregnant and have to pee.... where is the bathroom?!! Not cool!While I was gone he proceeded to ask my family (wife and mother) how were all related... what is that to you Jonathan?!So I made it pretty clear that we wanted to browse for all the furniture we needed on our own. Within 5 minutes, Jonathan was right back at us like a parasite. That's not how I shop and is the biggest turn off ever. We liked a dining table and couch but after reading ALL the horrible reviews and having this experience today, I'd rather walk to a furniture and carry it home on my back while pregnant than make a purchase here!!
It was my worst decision ever, I bought a bed on July 26, they told me it would take between 6 to 8 weeks to get it at my house, they have not contacted me and I had to call to claim because I have not received my bed, and they have scheduled me to receive it on September 30 (10 WEEKS LATER), they persuaded me to buy the bed with waiting times to obtain it that were not true. I feel cheated, additionally they charged me 60 dollars for the shipping fee to my house, that is, I do not receive my bed on time and additionally, do I have to pay the shipping? sounds as a Joke isn't? I will never buy any furniture here again.

I ordered several pieces of furniture from Ashley's in April. Living room furniture and King bed/ mattress. Well the living room furniture and mattress came in a timely manner as promised, however scheduling delivery was a nightmare. Supposedly the truck broke down and I wasn't contacted until the end of the day (after I had taken the day off) that the furniture wouldn't make it to my home and I would need to call and reschedule for their next available day. Now, I had gotten rid of my other furniture with the anticipation of mine arriving. 3 phone calls later and I was able to talk to someone who actually was able to reschedule and place me on the top of the list. Fast forward 2 months and I'm still waiting on my bed. I have a mattress but no frame and each time I call I'm told next week, next week, next week. This time I'm told another 4-6 weeks. Again, I have no frame just a mattress. Was told that I would have a manager contact me to discuss options and possibly canceling. Still waiting on that call. Worst experience.... I just want a bed to sleep on.

Just had the best experience at Ashley’s furniture, we were greeted by a woman named Stormie Funk and she was amazing to me and my wife. She took her time with us didn’t force anything on me or my wife and actually sat with us through the whole process and asked questions above to make sure we were being helped to the best of her ability. For someone who just started there I would love to see more people with her energy around. Might be a customer but she made a friend out of me and my wife I hope her employers give her some kind of promotion or the company does right by her I already told some of my buddies from our deployment to go check her out to get furniture. We purchased a couch and a piece of wall art in June. My in-store experience was great. The sales lady was fantastic. The checkout procedure was great. We were concerned about the time to receive the couch, and the sales person said, "Oh, we are getting these couches in a matter of weeks! This one is scheduled to be in July 11!" That was only 3 weeks, so we were very excited. It is now August 20 and we have nothing. As so many others have commented, we began calling after the expected delivery. The apparent catch phrase drilled in is, "That's scheduled to be in next week." After 3 of those to me, my husband called. He told the girl not to tell him next week, because we know it's a lie. She told him "week after next" instead. Well here we are on Saturday of week after next and guess what ...not here! They also say they cannot contact the manufacturer to inquire, have no phone number for them, nothing they can do. Well, the manager needs to train his employees better. If so many people are complaining about timing, it's because we are being lied to. The first couch I bought in post-COVID times was purchased in Augusta. They were up front in telling me it was taking 12-20 weeks for couches to come in, sometimes longer. It took 23, but I wasn't surprised or angry because I was prepared for it. It is clear the the Savannah store is misleading its customers at the time of purchase and every inquiry afterwards. Why would you not say, "Although this shows it will be here July 11, I should warn you that our items are usually taking xx months to come in." Why would the person answering the phone not say, "Well this system shows a date that is next week, but there is a good chance that it will get pushed back. Here is how it works." Just be honest and we wouldn't all be so upset. I hate calling, because it takes multiple times to get someone to answer the phone.
Not impresses with my visit
went to a few furniture stores the end of May and finally found couches that my boyfriend and I liked. The only bad part was that they were not expected to be delivered until end of July. The last week of July I called and they said the delivery was pushed back and is expected to be scheduled next week. I called Friday of the following week and they told me it is pushed back again and expected to be next week. I asked what is going on and the lady said there is a delay but she does not predict any reason why it wouldn't get delivered next week. We waited for the end of the week and again no call or furniture. My boyfriend called yesterday and they told him it was delivered to the warehouse so we can call today to schedule delivery. I called and again they said next week. If they would stop giving us false hopes, I would have a little more patience but this is ridiculous.

I guess I found what I was looking for after three other furniture stores. Unfortunately I have to wait for the delivery date. We were greeted with excellent customer service from the time we walked in up until the time we departed. The guy's name have left my memory, sounds something like Hakeem or something, my apologies, but he showed great customer service and was extremely polite and patient while he and my husband watched as I searched until I made up my mind on what to purchase. Two thumbs up for him.

Order a modular couch.it arrived today missing 3 entire cushions,1 was the wrong color and another went to an entirely different couch.at this level it isn't just a mistake,it is blatant incompetence.with the shipping delays im sure it will take another month to receive the correct pieces.i could not recommend purchasing anything from ashley and would highly suggest looking elsewhere. UPDATE 8/9/22: my replacement cushions arrived..well 2 of them...surprised to see they came unstuffed.no big deal to me,ither might be more annoyed.notice how the 2 middle corner cushions look like bags of potatoes? They didnt send enough filling for both..still missing a seat cushion though hmm..I posted a pic of Ashley's response to this review and just wanted to say...no you in fact didn't take care of this ASAP,you have continually dropped the ball.this was your shot to fix the mistake of probably 1 or 2 people but have proven attention to detail and failure is part of your company culture.this order was for a SINGLE piece of furniture.JUST ONE...and you've failed multiple times. I can only imagine the chaos of someone ordering an entire bedroom set from them.again I DO NOT RECOMMEND ASHLEY HOMESTORE

A rep hung up on me as if they were trolling me when i asked a legitimate question concerning entertainment room furniture for my movie room.
The salesman was great. Very knowledgeable about the various kinds of mattresses. I think I tried just about everyone to see what kind of comfort would be best for me. When I'm ready to make a purchase I will go back.
We checked out several furniture stores yesterday, Ashley's was one of them. We were immediately greeted as we walked in by Melinda. Her welcome was warm and her approach was appreciated. We told her what we wanted, she proceeded to show us several different options. There was absolutely no pressure and she made herself available every single time we had questions or asked her to price different options out for us. We left to go to one final store but found ourselves promptly returning to Ashley's and we knew we had made our decision. Melinda sold us with personality, friendliness and her sales approach. We ended up getting a beautiful sectional at a fantastic price and we could not be more happy with the service we recieved from Melinda. Today, I called to schedule the delivery. I spoke to two different ladies and the process was easy and simple process. We are receiving the sectional much faster than we thought would be possible. Awesome shopping experience all around.
Store lies about dates, tells you a confirmed date then after three times of them changing it they tell you it's estimated. When asked about updates when they changed my date, I'm told by their manager that their is to many people to let people know. Offers no assistance with the matter, other than you can call us again. When asking for the manufacturer contact info, they don't have it. So here I am still waiting for a product I bought and paid 2900 for the beginning of February not "possibly" getting it till Mid July when it was "guaranteed" first two weeks of May. Every time I call, oh next month. How long before a refund is the answer?
Ordered and paid for a new dining room table set on Veterans Day 2021. We were told we would have it in January. January came and went and every time we call about it, we keep getting told ‘next month’. Well, it’s June, and my wife called again, and shocker, she was told “next month”. The only reason I didn’t give it 1 star, was because the salespeople are nice.
A bit corrupt …. My sales rep told me that he and his manager would give me a discount. When I got home I found out that he charged me a good $1600 more than the furniture was actually listed for on their website. Today I’ve been calling the store and scheduling department and no one answers. Maybe everyone is on vacation?

Not only did they overcharge my mother and then charge her even more after she had asked for a refund but we scheduled the delivery only for it to change from the 4th to the 13th and they didn’t even bother calling to inform us, I had her call again to just be sure and I’m glad I did! Now my family will be sitting on the floor until we get a couch because we already scheduled our old one to be picked up the date we scheduled with Ashley to deliver our new one! Thanks Ashley! Today we will be finding a furniture store that is honest and not full of lies and false promises! Customer Service is awful, the worst I have ever dealt with. Do not waste your time or your money with this company!!!!
So I can not speak on how good the in store service was however the customer service on the phone and how they do thier deliveries are horrible. We got told what day our stuff would be brought to our house without being able to schedule for a certain day. Also the time it would be dropped off even after calling and telling them that the time does not work all they kept saying was "sorry we can not alter the time of delivery". The person that I spoke to also acted like I was bothering her by calling trying to change the time. I will never buy any more furniture from this company and I advise any one else to also look somewhere else.
We went in early April to purchase a sofa, chair and a half with ottoman, dresser, and an accent table. We had to wait approximately a month for our furniture delivery. It was accurate to what we were told at time of purchase and we were mostly satisfied. The communication on delivery is a little lacking. We started checking in on our order ourselves at the end of April after we didn't hear anything about our order. Huge shoutout to Brandi. She was fantastic about giving us updates about which pieces had arrived to the warehouse. We received everything but the accent table at the beginning of May. Very satisfied with the pieces received. Here's where things go downhill in a big way. We were told that the accent table we purchased wasn't being produced by the manufacturer anymore and there wasn't a timeline on when it would be produced or if the order would be fulfilled. No big deal. Given the uncertain timeline, we decided to cancel the accent table. We started calling on a Wednesday, nothing was done about it. We followed up on Friday and was told that the refund request had to go to a manager and that particular manager had already left for the day. So, we called on Saturday to follow up. We were called back by the salesman who offered a credit and the floor model currently on the floor. We said no thank you, we'd like the cancellation processed and the order refunded as we were not interested in the floor model. In all of this, we were told a manager would be reaching out to us regarding our refund. Today, I received a call from the assistant manager, Tony. I thought perfect, this is the manager we're waiting to hear from to get our refund. Nope. Tony offered the same floor model that we said no to on Saturday. He then told us that it would take 3-5 days to issue a refund. And SURPRISE! there is still a manager who will be calling me regarding my refund. TLDR: Ashley Furniture is holding hostage $1015 plus tax on an order we requested cancellation of due to a manufacturer issue and I'll be going elsewhere to furnish the rest of my house. I suggest you do too.

This review is solely based on customer service provided by Hans. We went to Ashley furniture looking for a Lane Recliner, not being aware that all furniture sold is manufactured by Ashley. Hans greeted us, and provided a wheelchair for my GF who has Parkinsons. His kindness and professionalism is very much appreciated.

I ordered furniture August 2021 and I’m still missing furniture April 2022. The arrival date has changed three times for a dining set. When some of a bedroom furniture set arrived, pieces were damaged. When the reordered furniture arrived, it was also damaged. As a result, the billing is incorrect. It’s been two days inclusive of an one hour visit to customer service to get items off my bill that I do not have. When I called the store to follow up two days later, the phone will ring and no one answers even while the store is open. This has been the worst customer service experience I faced in all my life. I will never do business with this store again.
Jan7 ordered furniture told Feb, then March then April then may and June July I was told it would ship first week of august. Call today and they say 3rd week of august. If I could give 0 stars i would. On top of that they have had my money since then paid in and they collecting interest not me. OMG. What to do next. My actual first order was before thanksgiving online and they cancelled it on me claiming they couldn’t reach me. Never never again.

I want to start off by saying, I’m giving two stars for a sales person Maggie. She was absolutely the BEST. We understood the delays with shipping and she was open and honest with us about time frames. We finally got all of our furniture we ordered back in September! Everything is in great condition! Now, we we took 3 starts off is because of the manager Jay. We didn’t speak to him personally, but over heard him speaking to an employee and he was rude, unprofessional, and vile. People like that should NOT be managers. As for the other sales people, the other blonde girl with the mouse like face; just stared at us the entire time. Looking us up and down, very judgmental environment. When I called for updates I was informed Maggie is no longer working there, but if she ever goes back in sales, I’ll buy from her till the day I die. WONDERFUL GIRL.

This experience with Ashley furniture has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE from beginning to currently. I was incorrectly charged for furniture I purchased on January 24, 2022 to the sales associate not ordering the correct parts that goes with my purchase.They have delivered the incorrect parts to my residence 4 TIMES!!!! Absolutely unacceptable! At what point does someone step in to insure that the customer is not inconvenient in this manner.Having to arrange my schedule to be available for their "window" of delivery is a waste of my valuable time. I would never do business with this company again.Do better!Angry customer
Getting the sofa was the tough part due to COVID and all the shortages, but the manager Jay is super professional, kind, and helpful. Not many people like him left in the world, give him a raise.

We placed an order for a dining room set MONTHS ago. At the time they told us that it would arrive in December... then changed it to January... then to February... then to March and wait for it..... then came back and told us it would now be arriving in APRIL.I completely understand that COVID has delayed the process but it's absolutely RIDICULOUS that we are not being updated by the store on the items that we paid thousands for, to have our files mixed up (they told us that we had no active account or order with them to which we replied that we were literally there weeks prior and already paid THOUSANDS of dollars in their store so we 100% HAD an account) no replies and so much more.If you have the option to cut down a tree in your backyard and turn it into a chair rather than buy a piece of furniture here, DO IT. Will never shop here again.
Ordered a sectional in late September 2021. Delivery date was pushed back from January to March 2021. Hoping by March to finally get the sectional.
We ordered our bedroom suit in October and it was expected to be pushed out a month or 2 but here we are almost February and still no suit. Delivery date keeps being changed! Now its supposed to be March before we receive furniture. If we would have known this we would have just purchased everything from rooms to go. We ordered our sectional from them and it was delivered as promised. Its sickening bc if I cancel our order we pretty much have to start over again with a new date. Lesson learned, take your business somewhere else unless your willing to wait months!
Isabelle was absolutely amazing! That was our best shopping experience with Ashley’s. She took her time to make sure we got all of our questions answered and got what we needed for our new home. She went above and beyond to make the process as smooth as she could for us and constantly looking out for us even with the delivery aspect of our order. Definitely recommend! One of the best customer service experience!
If anybody is looking for a place to shop for furniture, DON'T GO HERE. You will be very disappointed in the lack of care of your product when it is delivered after waiting on your product for 6 to 7 months to find that there broken. They tell you your product will take two month than you pay and when you call to ask the status of it they'll tell you it been pushed back multiple times. So, you have no clue of when you will receive your furniture. The managers don't try to accommodate you for the wait or for the broken item that you been waiting for forever and just tell you they can't do anything about it but tell you can have a refund. Also, they will give you the run around with the automated voicemail and eventually hang up when nobody picks up. Stop supporting these business that don't have high standards and no good customer service and just care about a profit off of the customer who keeps it running.

Walked into the store and was immediately greeted by a young lady. She asked what I was looking for and I told her a bedroom set. She showed me a few sets but when I mentioned that I may shop around, her attitude changed. She became rude and disinterested. I guess I ruined her opportunity for a bonus. I will never shop there again. Rudeness is not acceptable when dealing with people there to spend money.
Went in to look at a mattress. The lady greeted us as we walked into the store. She asked what we were interested in seeing. I said a mattress. But, shopping price. When she heard that she promptly ditched us and went up front. Didn't even say thank you on the way out of the store. So, we went elsewhere and bought a mattress. Spent $2400.
The customer service experience was awful. The young lady acted disinterested, disengaged, and bothered. I brought my concerns to the store manager but I highly doubt the issue will be addressed or taken seriously due to the bland look on his face as I was telling him about my poor experience. I see where my “salesperson” gets her dryness from. I took my unlimited credit card to Room to Go and happily made a full bedroom and living room purchase from a young lady with superb customer service skills. I spent more money but I’ll gladly pay for better customer service. I’ll be communicating my sour experience with corporate to ensure no other customer experiences what I did.

Omg! I visited this store 12/16/21. Upon entering, Hans, salesman greeted me with a pleasant smile. I told him I was seeking a queen size bed. He pointed out the area for bedroom sets. I began to look around. Whalahhh—after a moment, I narrowed my choices down to two beds/mattresses. Hans approached me again to see if I was ok or had questions. I showed him the two beds I was interested in. He immediately retrieved prices and availability. I told him I needed bed by 12/28. He promised me (thru his manager) he would have the bed delivered by 12/28. Well, to my surprise the bed was delivered on 12/23!!! I was so excited! Delivery was right on time! Actually, it was delivered BEFORE EXPECTED! Perfect timing! Excellent service! Gregarious staff at this location! Definitely ask for Hans! And, the store manager was magnificent to work with too! Way to go!
I can not say enough good things about the service we received from the sales associate Carolyn Wilson. Not only was she pleasant, professional, proficient but knows when to give clients the right amount of time to think and decide with no pressure. I will start by saying the actual service in store is perfectly well and good. Beyond that is frustrating. My girlfriend and I bought the couch on 8/15 with a 10 to 12 week delivery. We already considered this a long time but thought it would be worth the wait. Thanksgiving rolls around and we call to get an estimated date and they say it won't be in till mid December. It is now middle of December ( 16 to 17 weeks ) and we call to get another estimate and now it is not estimated until February ( putting us double the estimated time ). They did not provide these updates we had to call to repeatedly to get them. I get the Covid-19 delays, and I understand it's based on manufacturer delays. What I fail to understand is why they told us 10-12 weeks when there are multiple complaints about delayed shipments and they knew it was not accurate. When calling and they say it's later than they originally said they love to say "but it could come sooner". Obviously it isn't. I also fail to understand that during these times of massive delays with furniture why they do not remove that you have to pay 20% cancellation fee of the total purchase if you want to cancel. For Ashley Furniture - I am aware of the Covid delays. My issue is you inaccurately giving customers a timeline. The purchase is in my girlfriends name not mine so no need to tell me. Telling me to call your customer service will do nothing as we have called multiple times. Please do better towards be honest and accurate about things. I would rather know it may be half a year than lied to and locked into a purchase.
My furniture just got pushed back another month! It was supposed to be here in July now going to be here in maybe March 😪 I've never been so let down and disappointed in a company!
August 8, 2021 we went in and met a saleswoman named Brittany. We told her our priority was something in stock that would arrive quickly as we had just moved and needed to unpack. She helped us pick out a dining room set and then the next day a beautiful entertainment center with electric fireplace. We settled for 6-8 weeks for delivery and spent over $4,000. Brittany assured us she would stay in touch and if there were any changes she would let us know. You can guess, we never again heard from Brittany. However we did get to know the store managers and the GM, Sam, Tony, and Jay from the countless times we went back in to the store in October and November. We literally went in because they don't answer the phone at the store anymore, it goes to a national customer help center - so this is obviously a corporate decision to take people's money and not deliver a product. The management team was all courteous, if ineffective, as they were in an impossible position of selling furniture that doesn't exist. We did get a floor model of the dining room table (something they said they would never do until I told them to give me my $4,000 back). Then the side table went on back order "all of a sudden" and the entertainment center that originally was due in early October was pushed back until December and they refused to give us the floor model for that saying "we can't do that or we would have no furniture to sell" - we laughed. They told us it's the supply chain. They told us everyone is having this problem. They told us don't cancel until you find something else and know it will come or you will come back and it will take even longer. Well it is now the end of November and the very day they finally processed my refund my new entertainment center and side table were delivered from a different store. I am still waiting for the $400 discount they said they would give me for "my patience" and taking the floor model of the dining room table. It's been a week and I am not holding my breath, but I will edit this if it actually comes through. As promised I am updating - the $400 was put on my card after my review was posted yesterday.

I went in during Aug and bought a new leather sofa for my mother and a leather loveseat for myself. I bought warranties for both and paid $2300 cash with my debit card. Here it is almost the end of September and no furniture. I called them to cancel the order and the lady tells me there will be a restocking fee for 20% $460. That is ridiculous when they haven't even started it yet I am sure. I went because they had this big sale on all these loveseats and when I get there they have 2. And won't let you have the one in the store. This is nothing but a rip off and I hope they choke on my hard earned $460. I will tell everyone I know not to visit their business because they are a reap off.Take your business elsewhere.

Thankfully I didn’t have to because she knew exactly which pieces to show me. Definition of great custom service - down to earth and knowledgeable.

Update 10/21/21 we are still waiting on our furniture was notified of 12 weeks timetable when placed order July 10th. Has been 12 weeks plus some and now told part of full order won’t be in until thanksgiving. And we can’t get partial delivery. Very frustrating and unacceptable not happy at all. More than likely will be canceling order.!

The environment here is very welcoming. I was greeted at the door by Ms. Carolyn, and was informed about their sale going on which made me want to really find something. She was not pushy or aggressive when it came to making a sale. She showed me around, to browse different furniture pieces I was interested in. I like how she guided me through the kiosk to use their online shoppinng. I would definitely recommend her! Lovely personality and beautiful smile.

We were able to get a mattress, just like we got our other daughter that lives in Ashville, NC.
This is our 3rd or 4th defective couch. Mind you it take MONTHS for each new one to come. We’re quickly approaching a year of having an embarrassing couch. The store refuses to refund. FYI they don’t refund no matter what, buyer beware. This couch took 4 delivery attempts before they made it. The stitching on the back side has been way off, cushions taller than others, staples through the material, and the real killer a huge gap where the couch is supposed to meet in each of the couches. $1500+ down the drain. A year of embarrassment and inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I’ll never be back. Update: we have since surpassed a year of the ugly couch and we’re currently awaiting yet another one. We will be moving soon and these couches take at least 6 weeks so they have to ship it to another state. Still no refund available. If history repeats itself for the 6th time and we get another defective couch I am going to keep it going. Someone call Guinness we are going for a world record.

I see 5 stars but clearly they are not consistent with it. I made an order in the beginning of March. I was promised April 18th each time I called it was pushed a month. It is now almost august and I had my couch scheduled for today. I live on a military base and they told me they come on Monday, wed, fridays. Knowing I’m on a base. They chose a time where the gate they will be using is closed. They are not good with time what so ever. I was told I would get 10% back in may and still have not received it. I am very unhappy. I have waited 5 months to receive my couch that I have took off work today to sit here at home and to get a call saying they are 10 min away then a following call saying they can’t make it. This is ridiculous. At this point i should get more % back or a full refund. I was told I have to wait longer now to receive my couch because of the convinence for them. I have had no couch at all. And the store I order it from says they are closed at 8pm and I have been calling since 6:30 pm with a message saying closed. This couch better be comfortable. I understand Covid has effected the time. But stating that my couch is ready and I still didn’t receive it was the last straw. I have no idea what this store can do to make me return after this.

We received excellent customer service at this Ashley Home Store. Smith was our sales person and she was absolutely wonderful. She allowed us to look without any pressure. We had some doubts about whether a sofa would work or not, and we were deciding between two different sofas. We decided we needed to go back and measure to be certain which would fit in the room. She gave us her number, sent pictures, took measurements for us. We determined that neither of the sofas would work. I would use negative stars if I could. Was told 8-12 weeks (written in our contract) for furniture. Been calling every week since the 8th for updates and still told on schedule. Called again at 12 weeks and its going to be another month! Horrible, horrible. And I made a point to purchase from an individual because he seemed nice in the store...WRONG! Sleezy sales person. I will never order another piece of furniture again from Ashley Furniture and I hope you think twice before you do too if you are reading this. No pictures included since no furniture has been delivered after 12 weeks as told by the store.

I'm so unhappy with everything about buying a sofa here. They told me it was leather but the technician that came for a repair stated that wasn't so. The "insurance" you pay to have in your furniture is an absolute waste of money..... Don't do it. Just stay away from this place.
Place is a scam, absolutely horrible customer service. Can never get to anyone and yes in their defense they said 8-12 weeks but I call at the end of each month and they will say oh it will be here at the end of the month so I'd call back in a month same thing oh it will be here at the end of the month. Then try to call and cancel and no answer. Try to call the finance place to hold off on payments since I never agreed on payments anyways, they tell me to screw off. Absolutely a joke of a store. The lady that was my sales rep was really nice. But the rest of it, is trash. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Edit: just got off the phone with their customer service number I found on Google and even they can't get ahold of these people!!!!
We ordered furniture in February . We were told it would be delivered within 10 to 12 weeks. Which put us early to mid May. I called the store in May to find out a updated delivery date since we had not heard from anyone at the store, and I was told it would be available the first week of June for delivery. So we sold off all our furniture for the room preparing for delivery this week, and I called the store again since I had not heard anything, and I was told now that the furniture is out of stock. This is very upsetting considering we have sold off all of our furniture and they have not been in communication with us at all about this major delay. They are still not really able to tell us when it will possibly be back in stock. Savannah, Georgia 😡
We bought 2 loveseats. Withing months the one loveseats recliners broke, a few months later the handle for the recliner on the other broke.In October 2020, we started the process of getting it fixed through our warranty. It took several weeks to get the replacement parts,then a month for the tech to come out and fix it. He informed us that they sent the wrong parts and they'd have to ship the right parts. I got an email stating just that. I waited 10 weeks and still hadn't received nor heard anything. I reached out and they told me that a tech would need to come out again to confirm the parts were right. Why did no one tell me this?!?! So we wait for another tech to come out and say the same thing. Then they want both our peices of furniture to pick up to confirm themselves. I told them they couldn't take both and they agreed to only take one. Finally, we were told the techs were right and that they would credit us new furniture. After all this, we didn't want to order from Ashley ever again but with the warranty and everything, we had no choice. So, in February 2021, we went and order a sectional and we're informed that it was in stock. Come to find out, it wasn't. I have called several times to get an update on the status of delivery and it's constantly getting pushed back. Now our delivery date is not until June 30,2021. It has been almost a year that we've been dealing with this. If I hear anyone even considering buying from Ashley, I will highly recommend they go anywhere else but there!

Robert and TJ do an amazing job! The staff is helpful and kind. The store is still inviting and calm on this busy holiday weekend with many shoppers. They aren't pushy like other furniture stores. The staff works hard to make sure you get the best deal.
It took 4 months to get my sofa. Schedule delivery 3 different times. Then when they finally show up for delivery were supposed to call before getting there never got a phone call!! my experience at the store was pleasant and they continually worked with my fiancée and I to get us exactly what we wanted, and made sure we were happy. but the reason I'm leaving a review is for 2 reasons. 1- the manager at the Savannah location was phenomenal and customer service is definitely something that is a priority for him. 2- Sam and his delivery team, Jabari I believe was the other gentleman, went above and beyond when they delivered and set up my furniture. I was home alone with my 5 month old and they not only set up the furniture, they adjusted the couch and the rug more than once to see how it would look considering I wasn't sure how I wanted it. I was more than pleased with their customer service. good job guys, thank you again!!
I order furniture from Ashley ever since February it is now may. i have not received a call telling me that it was goin to be this late. Some one at the store told me that the factory member had got covid and that why every thing is 6months behind if that was the case no one informed of the late arrival. They told me it would be here by April. If i was informed i'm sure i would have told them to cancel my order. Now i'm in a place with no bed since April. I will not purchase here again because no one informed of this and no im not call to talk to them just get the same answer of calling the number.

This store deserves a 0! My fiancée, James Beverly, and I purchased a sectional from Ashley is Savannah in early December! We were assured by our sales person that we would have the couch by the second week in February. The second week in February rolled around and we had not heard anything from Ashley! I called and they said last week in February ... I called again and they said mid March... I called again and they said said the end of March... I called AGAIN... They said Mid April and they would email the manufacturer to get more information and call me back... never received a phone call...... I called today and spoke with the manager,” Ma’am, I am the manager. I have to call you back”..... she didn’t call me back.... At this point we are still sitting on the floor hoping we will have a couch to sit on soon. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever received and will never use them again.... We paid in full for our sectional and they STOLE our money... I understand that Covid has everything backed up but 5 months is a little extreme.
Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve never seen customer service like this before. Ordered in December, dropped over 7,000 for a bedroom set and a new couch. Could only deliver our bedroom set in the beginning of March. They did have 3/4 of our couch but was missing the wedge. To this day April 15th I still do not have all my furniture. They even called me two weeks ago, to schedule a delivery for the whole couch. Then the day before delivery (after we already gave away our old couch) they tell us our wedge still isn’t in 😂 they forgot a power cord to our new couch. So part of the couch that we do have doesn’t recline. Oh and our bedroom furniture. The foot board was dropped when installing. Accidents happen. But it chipped our foot board. When I called to find out when that will be in, their response was “it was not noted”. Needless to say, I have damage furniture. 3/4 of a non working couch. And a bad attitude that I wasted this much money with a company like this.

Have been waiting since November for my furniture. Dates keep getting pushed back and nobody calls and lets me know, I always have to call and check myself. I had to come up there and talk to someone to finally get a semi-solution. I was told I could get some of my things delivered at a different time, so I agreed. But I was wondering why didn't they offer that a long time ago? Delivery guys came late and didn't setup all of my furniture. I noticed a couple of days later that my dresser was chipped. Didn't receieve the mirror to my dresser and still waiting on my bed frame. Was told recently that I would get my things on the 4th, then it changed to the 9th, then it changed to the 11th... all in a matter of days. I am so over it. I will never order again. We got rid of our things a couple of weeks after we ordered in November, so our clothes and mattress were on the floor/ in baskets for almost 4 mohths.
Ordered a bed room set in November. Was told I would have all pieces by January. Was only able to get a bed frame in February, now I have no clue when I’m getting the rest as no one will tell me. Was told multiple dates which were all wrong. Now I have no idea when I’m getting my furniture, I’m still paying the full price with 0 discount or compensation, all when I was promised I would have all pieces no later than mid January. Do yourself a favor and find another furniture retailer.

Nice! Very Attentive sales people! One downside.... A lot of neutrals, & wood though a minimal amount of modern pieces. Yet the furniture appears to be well put together constructively!.....Enjoyed my search for several items!

Can’t get ahold of anyone in the delivery department been trying for a couple of days now and it’s just an automated message that they’re not taking calls now due to high call volume. We have purchased furniture several times from Ashley Home Store. We really like their furniture from living room to bedroom.. We always receive great service. Trevon has helped us and took great care of us. On one occasion he help a visiting friend with info to assist him find a set at his home town store.
Great salesmen and employees at the store, but do not waste your time trying to get a piece of furniture here. We ordered a couch in August and after being told multiple delivery times in October, November, and then in December we are now being told the couch won’t even come in this year (2020). I understand the limitations that COVID has placed on manufacturing and delivery, but that cannot be a nostrum for horrible service. If you’re actually looking to get a piece of furniture within the next 6-7 months, I would look at ordering from someone else - otherwise you will be waiting to no avail with no real idea of when you will receive the item you ordered.
I would give no stars if possible. I am very confused as to how this store has so many positive reviews. While the workers in the store are very nice, the company as a whole is a nightmare. We ordered a couch on labor day weekend and were told it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery. After calling today NOVEMBER 24th I was told it will not be here until the first week of JANUARY. Updates on delivery of the couch were always only after pursuit of answers by me the customer. I will be requesting a refund on a couch I have never had the chance to receive because I cannot wait longer. Stay far away.
I purchased over $3500 worth of furniture in the first week of September. I hadn't realized it would take 2-3 months for delivery. I started to get nervous and found some serious hate groups on FB stating if you order from them your stuff will arrive broken and used if it arrived at all! They had me super nervous, but I hung in there because I've had other good experiences with AF in Savannah. I'm glad I ignored the fear mongering on FB because my stuff arrived 3 weeks earlier than expected, in perfect condition and in boxes. The delivery guys did a fantastic job unpacking and setting everything up. The furniture is beautiful. I will buy from them again without hesitation!

ETA has been pushed back numerous times "due to covid" but other companies like Amazon...etc. are delivering things to me from as far as China in a matter of weeks. Going to corporate is not even an option because this location is actually a franchise. I saved up for years to finally be able to afford to shop at Ashley's and so far my first experience with them has been the worst shopping experience of my life. I'm too vested to ask for a refund and start over somewhere else but at this point I wouldnt be surprised if I get my furniture in 2021. UPDATE: My furniture was pushed back to 2021 like I assumed but I ended up talking to the Assistant Manager "Tony" on Thurday who went the extra mile by hand writing (because system were down at the time) an enquiry at a warehouse in Pooler to find the same furniture. Instead of waiting until next year a call came in from the warehouse to deliver most of my order on Monday. This move saved my Holiday's and I'm very thankful for his professionalism and for that I changed my original 1 star review to a 5. Great job sir your an asset to your organization.
We ordered our Furniture at the beginning of October. We had originally went in and talked to one sales associate who had helped us and told us to come back on the following week because that's when they offer free delivery. When we came back to order she wasnt there and apparently no longer works there. Not only that but the delivery portion was incorrect. So we got free delivery to our door, but not to inside. That part is extra. We were told an estimated 8 weeks. I called 2 weeks ago to see if there was a status update or better ETA so that we could sell our current couch set before this one arrived but didn't want to be couch less for more than a day or two. She informed me it would be on the truck the following week and that I could call back to confirm it made it onto the truck. The next week I called and it was confirmed the couch made it onto the truck and someone would call this week to schedule the delivery. We didn't receive any calls. So I called the distribution center and she told me she didn't have our couches to contact the store. So I called the store again yesterday about 15 times with no answer. I finally got through today and was told the couches are scheduled to be put on the truck NEXT WEEK. and another week after that for them to deliver. So now we have sold our couches and its going to be another TWO WEEKS before our set arrives? I wouldn't be upset if I was given correct information but I was completely lied to on the phone. Our sales experience was okay but this portion has now become a complete cluster. Editing because I cant reply to the below response. Covid has nothing to do with being told your furniture is going to be on a truck the next week. Then calling and CONFIRMING it was on said truck. We were told that it did in fact get on the distribution center truck and we would hear something this week about delivery to us. Again I understand covid has been given longer wait times to receive furniture but point blank we were lied to about where in the process our furniture was. That is what sparked this review. Had they told us it would be another 2 weeks before its projected to be on the truck would have been an acceptable response. But that isn't what happened.

This was my first time in an Ashley HomeStore and we were helped by a very nice salesperson named Sunny. She was very patient with us as we took our time seeing everything and making up our minds. The furniture all seems to be very high quality. I am just ecstatic about the antique-looking leather couch that was just delivered to me and look forward to receiving the leather ottoman that is on backorder. The process of applying for credit with the store was fast and easy, too! I would definitely shop here again next time I need furniture.

Salesman/manager Sam Carter was excellent. Very kind, nice, knowledgeable and helped us tremendously with what we wanted and needed. We are new to Savannah and needed furniture. We went to other furniture stores and went back to Ashley HomeStore because of their customer service and furniture quality. I would recommend Sam Carter at Ashley HomeStore. We will not go anywhere else for the rest of our furniture. Great experience.
My husband and I went to this store. We saw a few sectionals we liked. We understand that due to Covid, things might be taking longer. We met the manager and he was a talker. He found out we are a military family and as we were leaving to check out other furniture stores, he said he would give us 27% off the sectional of choice. We were a little tired and thought it was a great deal. Before we bought we were very clear on a delivery date. He assured us the sectional would be ready for pick up by November 12th. We chose to pick up instead of delivery because he said that would speed things up. We never received a follow up or anything of that nature. I did some research online and found the exact couch online about $800 cheaper! I was going to contact the company but decided to leave it alone because we needed the couch in our house by a certain date. The day came when our sectional was supposed to arrive and nothing but silence! We will not do business with a company who lies about their "deals" and shipping times! If people want business they need to be upfront with expectations instead of trying to close a deal by lying to customers!
Latisha was a great sales representative for me! She was very friendly throughout the entire sales process. She went above and beyond to help me compare different items throughout the whole store to try and piece together all the furniture for my house. That allowed me to pick all the right pieces and now I am so happy with all my furniture :) definitely go see Latisha!
My original review was a little reactionary, so I'm going to rewrite. Everyone from the salespeople to the delivery agents have been very friendly and helpful. We visited twice and were helped by Constance and Cherrelle. They gave us the right amount of space to look on our own (we prefer to look on our own), but were always available and nearby if we had any questions. Our furniture arrived safe and everything looks great. Delivery will take a long time, and I am taking off a star due to a lack of communication about 2 different delays in delivery. I do appreciate Scott in particular for calling to address my concerns and for giving a sincere apology for the inconvenience. I don't have his number, but I would like to thank him again for calling. Honestly the furniture was worth the wait. It only took us about an hour to remember why we bought a 20' sectional because the pets had all taken it over.

Spending thousands on a bedroom set, and then after we pass the estimated 5 weeks before delivery they tell us it will be another month. I was told it would not take more than 7 or I would be refunded which now they won&'t do. On the 7th week I called back for the latest estimated delivery which is now mid December. I purchased my bedroom set on september 5th for their Labor Day sale, and the sales associate isn&'t returning a call. We sold our set to make room, and because no one notified us about delivery changing we have no furniture for what will end up being at least 3 months. Absolutely ridiculous. We previously purchased from their Columbus location, and only had good experience. After this, we will never purchase from Ashley furniture again.

I have been waiting for about four months on my order and in the last few weeks I have been totally ignored. Now that I followed Michaels advice, I have been promised a full refund!
You will most definitely wait OVER three months for your furniture and they don’t tell you the actual wait time until after you pay for it ... and that time will change 2 or 3 times .. COVID has NOTHING to do with it as if you look at older reviews the same thing was the case prior to COVID

After 3 months of piecing rooms together, we went at Ashley HomeStore Savannah. We weren’t ever opposed to this store, but it was not on our list as we had seen a bad review so it had adversely ( and wrongly) affected our opinion. When we entered the store however, were greeted immediately with happy upbeat staff, yet not pressured by anyone. We felt the presence of help but never felt we were being leaned on as we had been at other places we had been. We ended up buying 2 bedroom sets and two mattresses that day. Throughout that afternoon, we did receive excellent service from everyone. What was noteworthy, moreover, was that the the attention we received was consistent throughout every level of purchase and still remains. The manager came out that first day and introduced himself. He welcomed us to the area as we explained about our move from Florida. He made sure we were happy with our purchases and even had the kindness and patience to look at photos of our new house (So self indulgent of us, but giddy about our new home , he responded in a lovely complimentary way.) The salesperson was thorough and the staff at the purchase desk were extremely friendly as well. Each interaction was very impressive. Our delivery came as promised. The communication about the date was better than any of the other companies we had purchased furniture from in the prior months. The delivery team was stellar, extremely careful, very professional and as charming as anyone who has come into our home. When we had a problem a month later with a bedside stand (which was our mistake, a series of scratches done by a workman) we came back to the store 2 months later to ask what we could do to repair it. We were met by the same manager who remembered our purchase, remembered us, and immediately went to his desk to inquire how to advise us. He informed us that we had gotten a protection care package ( of which we had forgotten) and walked us through the steps to receive assistance in either repairing or replacing the furniture we had actually damaged ourselves. He handed us his card and told us to contact him if we needed further help in resolving the matter. We had ordered another piece from the store in the interim, an accent console, which we were informed 2 months after our purchase was discontinued. We were disappointed, and actually, disgruntled by the news. We had never considered this happening although the piece was significantly marked down so it was clearly at the end of its life there on their floor. The manager, again, greeted us with a welcome smile when we went to visit the store after receiving this notification, basically to complain. He immediately invited us into his office, listened patiently , and made inquiries as soon as we spoke of our dissatisfaction. He reached out to other stores to seek resolution. We left feeling very positive. This manager had now met with us on 3 separate occasions to give us assistance. We had ironically made larger purchases at other companies and were barely recognized nor remembered in follow up calls and visits to them. The contrast of the level of personalized service was compelling. We got a call from him first thing the following morning after our visit letting us know he did track down the discontinue console piece and it would be on the next delivery truck. Even if he hadn’t found it, we wanted to share that this store, this team, this manager really do their best on every level to resolve all issues and give personalized professional service to their customers. Our only regret in the last several months of moving was not coming to Ashely HomeStore first to do our new home decorating. I ordered my furniture on Memorial Day weekend and it took 4 months to get my delivery. I understand that due to COVID-19 the delivery could take longer than expected however, no one called to let me know how long it could possibly take. I was the one constantly checking up on my delivery status. Finally, I get my delivery and they tell me they forgot the wooden slabs for my new bed, second time they come out I get told they forgot the support panels at the warehouse. So now this is the third time I have to get someone to my home to finish installing my new bed. This is VERY frustrating because I live an hour away from this Ashley’s furniture so why wouldn’t anyone make sure that before they delivery an hour away that they have everything they need to finish the job? This is now the third time I am having somebody come to my home to do this. On top of all of this, no one calls me to apologize for the inconvenience. I have to be the one to call and check on the status for everything. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture store.
I am very dissatisfied with Ashley. We ordered furniture on June 4 and told them we needed it before July 4. It is almost September 1 and we still don&'t have our furniture. The expected delivery date is now September 18. No one has called us, we have to keep calling for information. We did receive the mattress and box springs, but that is all. We can&'t cancel because it will cost us a 20% cancellation fee. We have been buying furniture from Ashley for many years.Update- Ashley didn&'t call after I spoke with customer service as they requested. We canceled our order even they claim almost everything was in their warehouse. No phone calls. Terrible customer service. Never again
The husband and I were out on few errands and decided to pop into Ashley's. It had moved from where we thought it was BUT we ran across it. Here we were greeted by Parker and given a rundown of where and how the store was layed out. He did not hover but was readily available when we had questions. He went above and beyond. His knowledge was great and he was transparent with all of our options which makes for a perfect experience. I am hard on customer service because I've been in it over 20 years. We found something that we both loved and went ahead with the purchase. Glad we made the unplanned stop. Even in this Covid enviornment we were able to have a great shopping trip which was purely spontaneous in and out in about an hour. I would recommend any of my Savannah people to Parker.
Today I received living room furniture I purchase from the Ashley Home Store on Abercorn in Savannah, GA. I purchased the items in February prior to the covid shut down; and due to the virus I was in no rush to receive anything, or have anyone come into my home. But today was a good day. The delivery guys Jabari and Monquell were very professional. The two young men were about there business. They were polite and respectful. I've had furniture delivered where guys rushed to try and finish to get to the next delivery. Jabari and Monquell didn't rush, but was steadfast, knew what they were doing, and answered any question I had during the process. They handle my furniture as if it was there own, and that's all you can ask. When one of the recliners didn't work they were able to identify a wire connection had come loose. Other delivers would have told us to report it to the store for another one. Jabari and Monquell were definitely a TEAM and should be rewarded. Thanks!
Horrible communication , the process that you gave to contact the Sales associate to gain any idea about deliver is horrible they sales rep are often tied up with customers and never return your call I placed my order July 4th paid in cash and have yet to receive one phone call on delivery expectation , 7 weeks later never again Ashley
Great when it was open. New location is even better. They need to update Maps, but currently the new store is next to Ross across the street.
Took 2 months to get the furniture I bought. When it was time to be delivered on fort Stewart, one of the two movers wasn’t able to get on due to being a felon. I paid Ashley to deliver the furniture and wound up having to move the furniture myself. If you know it’s being delivered to a military base that has restrictions maybe you shouldn’t hire felons that can’t get in.
This was my first experience with Ashley Furniture but it won't be the last! Though we were initially overlooked by another salesman when we walked in, Chris greeted us with a kind smile from our first encounter. He made our entire shopping experience easy, informative and quick! Chris is the epitome of what a sales representative should be! We didn't feel rushed or pressured to make a sale. All our item were able to be delivered and set up which was very important to us! Thank you Ashley Furniture and Chris!
I am new here to Savannah and have been frantically looking for furniture. I walked into Ashley HomeStore 10 minutes prior to their closing and my sales associate Jayden Kozlowski was out of this world! He made me feel at ease instantaneously. His enthusiasm, drive And desire to ensure the customer is happy is unheard of these days. I will from here on out only shop at Ashley HomeStore’s. I would recommend Jayden to anyone!

I usually don’t leave reviews- it’s just never been my thing because everyone has their own experience and really can’t go by reviews. However, I’ve changed my mind due to the Angel like service I received. I called Ashley Furniture a few days ago to ask one question and the sales rep was so calm and so nurturing- not only did he make me feel like I was the most important person but also gave his company the highest regard in the world. The service over the phone was so good- I immediately got in my car to go to the store which is almost 40 miles away. I wish I wasn’t just buying furniture because the comfort feeling was much more than just buying furniture. Thank you Ashly Furniture. Shopped at 2 competitors before going to Ashley. Both competitors wore masks and practiced social distancing. Walked in to Ashley and most sales reps not wearing masks nor practicing social distancing. If you do not care about your customers health and well being while shopping then you have lost any potential business from me and my friends and family.
I spent over 4500.00 for my 20 Anniversary. We bought a sectional couch, walk unit with fireplace, queen mattress, coffee table. This company sent 6 broken couch ends. 5 broken coffee tables, 1 they spray painted at the warehouse and resent back, 4 broken missing screws all scratched up end wall units, 3 mattress had broken slats. Truck delivery drivers drove through my grass leaving 6 foot dual tire marks. Then after numerous phone calls to corporate and 4 months of stress the last delivery the truck broke down in the street. The truck leak fuel all over street. Never got my 200.00 mattress cover always promised it is being mailed. We have been customers for over 10 years and this was a night mare. If you can please don&'t buy from Ashley. They will lie, scam and promise you stuff. Trevon was our salesman he was nice. Tish a manager helped me to get back on track after we called the better business bureau. Tish was great. The store manager never called back to help. I can&'t believe what this store in Savannah Georgia did to us. The delivery drivers told us how they repair the damage furniture in the local warehouse then hide the damages and after you except the furniture in your home you are stuck. If you buy from this store inspect the furniture before they bring it in or you are stuck with it. They are given a phone to take pictures so they got you once the furniture comes into your home. I will never buy from this company again. This is sad and they don&'t care.
I called about an online order that didn't go through. I was fully ready to spend the money at my local store. The nice young lady that answered the phone was new and had to repeatedly go ask for help. No one with experience ever came to speak with me and they lost my sale.
Do not whatsoever ever purchase from these people. Sales rep added insurance to my order after her I told her no, even giving a reason why. Thought I was getting a deal when price online was cheaper. Now here 7 weeks no furniture and worst communication as well as customer service. Talked about canceling and I would get back to them to find out they canceled my order with out the say so. Now dont get me wrong I will never shop with them again however to cancel now after 7 weeks I might as well wait. They blame it on Corona but if you read the reviews from a year ago same thing. These people are horrible
I am so dissatisfied and disappointed I thought this was a professional business. I ordered a 6 piece furniture set spending almost $900.00 and 2 days later I wake up to another charge of $700.00 taken out of my account. I never went online to make another purchase. I contacted the 1-800 number and no response over an hour. This is Fraud and I like to know how did the company have access to my bank info again after 2 days of purchase.
"Moving sale going now" "Discounted prices" Except that the furniture in store is for display only and the warehouse is up to 8 weeks back ordered aaand the "discount" is no different in price than any other time you go to buy. Make sure you get any agreement in writing. There is fine print that says that the sales can say whatever they want to sell. But there are "no verbal agreements" and no returns and no exchanges. I say buyer beware but nobody reads these anyway. Oh... and wash your hands

I will recommend everyone that I know to come shop and ask for Mr. Joe he was the only person to greet me and help after being in the store 5-10 minutes with no assistance. I called the Savannah store for help after I had a terrible experience at the store in Bluffton SC. Joe answered. He was beyond amazing. He walked me through the purchase, the pricing, the other fees, and the protection plan. He was so kind and informative. I did every thing over the phone.

Went to the Okatie SC store on yesterday worse experience ever.... After leaving I called the Savannah store explained to them the way my experience went the store manager told me to come down to the store and they would help me.... So Today I went Savannah store I didn’t get what I was looking for I actually got something better all thanks goes to my helpful salesman Trevon he was absolutely amazing and very fast. Thank you

My son and I went into the Ashley HomeStore on this past Saturday because I wanted to “BROWSE” power reclining sofas. When we entered the door, we were greeted with a smile and an offer of assistance by the Sales Manager, Laura Costa. I really appreciated her kindness and the fact that she didn’t hover and walk the sales floor with me. She let us know that she was available, if we had any questions and we were on our way. I love that I was able to take my time and view available merchandise without any un-requested information and pressure!! Although I walked into the store with no intention of making a purchase that day, I saw a set that I liked and after speaking with Laura, I knew that it was exactly what I wanted to re-furnish my Family Room. She also assisted me in finding a small chair-side table that was perfect for the furniture and my space. My fiancé and I came into Ashley today looking for a sectional couch. We’ve been looking for quite sometime and haven’t found something we were in love with. Seth approached me and wasn’t pushy at all and let me know if I had any questions to let him know and he’d be happy to help. Sure enough we found something we both liked but wanted a different configuration. Seth helped us get the exact look we wanted and took great care of us! Highly recommend using Seth if you’re looking to getting new furniture.
My wife and I purchased a King sized bed and was told that it was new but just was a discontinued. Much to to our surprise the bed was delivered with a broken side rail and dog hair on the upholstery. We had to contact them numerous times before we could actually get any assistance. We had to purchase a shop vac to clean the bed as my son is allergic to pet dander. No one has given us a date/time on when they will pick the bed not refund my money 🤬.
I am very disappointed with management team at this store! Upon arrival of my new bed, the delivery team unpack and set it up. They assembled the bed with one of rails broken and the headboard covered in some type on animal fur. I've contact the store multiple times to see what could be done, they offered to take $200 off of the bed without trying to clean it. I did not purchase a brand new bed to have it broken and or to have it cleaned. I am now having issues with them scheduling to pick up the bed. Thought-out this whole ordeal, management have not contact me to atleast apologize for the inconvenience. I would caution anyone thinking of purchasing from this store.
My boyfriend and I went to Ashley to buy a sofa, a dresser, and a side chair. As soon as we entered the store, a warm, friendly sales associate named Ben approached us to let us know about the store layout. He was helpful and not pushy. We spent a lot of time looking at furniture, and Ben checked in with us as needed. He was very helpful. He ran numbers for us on all of the items we looked at and checked to see how long the delivery would take for each item. When we finally decided on three pieces, he was there to calculate the cost and tell us about a non-interest option for payment. All around, a great experience!

They still have not delivered a piece of furniture that I paid for in October. I was promised I would have it for the Holidays. Sales person Laura Costa promises to return calls and does not. Do not trust anything you're told.
Terrible customer support. Bought a King Bed from this store. They got the order mixed up. Been to house already 3 times and have either the incorrect headboard or there is a damage. Today delivered one with full of scratches. They tried to hide it by covering it up with blankets. My wife made a mistake of not noticing it during the delivery. The headboard is full of scratches. Never again.

Bought sofa and matching chair and after 5 weeks we still had no furniture. Got our money back and went to Babcocks. Got furniture in one week. Don't shop at Ashley if you want items in a timely manner.
If I could give less than one star I would. We bought a sectional and was pleased. We went back and bought an ottoman and a recliner. The recliner is cheaply made with osb plywood in it. I wish I had flipped it over in the store and looked under it. I would not have bought it. We bought the insurance on it which we thought was a good idea. The chair back broke and we took it to the Pooler warehouse for there tech to fix it and they made it worse. We had to make a claim on the insurance and got a new one. 2 days after having it a piece of the wood fell out of the arm and now the 2nd chair is broke. They will not replace the chair or give us our money back. There customer service is terrible and the quality of there furniture is too. I will never buy from them again. Check under there furniture before you buy any of it. The management which we were told could only be emailed have not responded to us after several months of this run around. They do not stand behind there products. We called and were told no refund and no re-election allowed.
This was our first and last time shopping with Ashley. Twice we received the wrong furniture and also the furniture that we purchased,was damaged. This is not what we expected from a store with the history of Ashley.
We had waited 5 weeks for furniture to be delivered because they said we had so much they wanted to bring it all in one drop off, which is fine, makes a lot of sense. However, the first delivery time they gave us the day before they’re supposed to be here was between 1pm and 3pm. The next day 330 comes around and we haven’t received a call or anything and I call and she said we’re in the schedule for 330-630. Which is kinda ridiculous because we were told different and never updated. So she further tells us that their in hinesville which is only 15 minutes from our house and that there’s two people ahead of us. Well 530 comes around and the actual delivery guy calls saying he was never in hinesville and their in Richmond hills (50 mins away) and they’d be here in about an hour and a half. 745 comes around and nothing. I call the store again, with the same rude women I spoke to the first time and she said that we’re next on the list that they had some issues. Meanwhile the delivery guy is on the phone with my husband saying they had one more person ahead of us and then they’d be here. This store in particular is absolutely ridiculous on communication and will tell you a lie just to get off the phone. They said they’ll be here by 830 pm.. which again is veryyyyy late and ridiculous especially when we have a bed, a huge sectional, dressers and tv stand that needs set up while having two small kids at school age going to bed at 830 and we all have to be up by 6am. Don’t ever buy from this Ashley’s place. Go to a different one! It’s honestly disappointing because my husband and I have been told something different every time we’ve called which has been about 6 different times throughout the whole day. We buy from Ashley’s frequently and unfortunately after this encounter we probably never will again.
Absolutely worst customer service ever at the Savannah Georgia location. Barbara the sales woman who helped me was great but after purchase everything went down hill from there. After waiting over a month for the items to get delivered and when they did they sent the wrong bench. I called immediately when the delivery team realized it was the wrong item and for 4 days called and had the customer service team say they were going to have someone call me back and never did. Finally got the correct bench ordered only to find out they refused to work around our schedule to get it delivered even though they were the ones who made the mistake. When you order with Ashley you get a call from the warehouse when you product arrives and they give you a couple dates to pick from for delivery, you pick one and they call you the day before with the 3 hour delivery window. I figure since we had so many issues we would be accommodated and have the bench delivered around our schedule NOPE... we were given the exact same options we would have had originally. Being that we needed the table for and event this week the savannah Ashley team new we were in a time crunch and could not have cared less. I spoke with Mykayla who was so nice and helpful and helped as much as she could. I later spoke to Jake one of the managers who was beyond rude and went round in circles with me offering no resolution to our issue. Now not only do I have to drive and pick up my items but I have to return the incorrect items the delivery guys left here. I had planned on upgrading more of our furniture with Ashley but NEVER AGAIN!!!

We ordered a couch and 2 chairs the people inside was very nice but I feel like it was an act now. When we ordered the furniture we was told we would get a call in 10-15 days for delivery. I called at the 15 day mark they said it would be another 2 weeks before it was delivered. Two weeks pasted I called again said it would be another week. Another week passes and now they can’t deliver it for ANOTHER 2 weeks. I made a complaint to the store and the branch management they said they would have someone call me back that day. No one called. We have no gone 5 weeks without living room furniture because of them. I WILL NOT be buying from ashelys again! This is ridiculous it should not take 2+ months to get furniture delivered to my house!
Lots of overpriced furniture, and they don't have any sort of warehouse on site, so you have to wait to get anything you'd want to buy. They advertised many boxed mattresses online, at very low prices, and the website says they are kept onsite... but when you arrive they had next to nothing available, and only a few of the high priced items were possible to buy that day. The salesman seemed to not know very much about the store, and had us walking in cirlces
Received my Luxora sectional 8 October and the loveseat is defective from the distribution center. Not sure what kind of QC (quality control) procedures are in process. I called the customer care number about 8 times and no one answers the phone, called the store and was told I had to call the customer care number but they would send an email on my behalf. I called corporate and was told they are a franchised store. I am beyond frustrated with Ashley already.
I should have listened to the other reviews. After waiting 4 weeks for delivery of my sectional, it came with one piece missing and two pieces broken. I now have half of a couch. I shoulda sent the whole thing back but tired of sitting on the floor but I bet when it is time for my new bedroom it won&'t be from Ashley.
Customer service was horrible. Woman who was the contact for our delivery was rude on multiple occasions. When the furniture was delivered it was missing the necessary hardware to set up, they said that they would come back with the hardware. I then get a call saying that they will mail us the hardware instead and to call if we need them to set up, which set up is part of their job. Delivery guys were great, as well as the floor salesman. But the customer service/support team may need to be “restructured”.
Got the pleasure of working with Josh. He was helpful and patient and definitely NOT one of those pushy sales people that I have experienced at other furniture stores. We will absolutely be in to see him again when we’re ready to update the next room.
When buying a mattress, be sure to pay for and get the mattress cover at the point of purchase. Take it home with you and don&'t wait for the delivery of the mattress. If you eat or drink in bed, or have incontinence issues, this is worth the money.9/24/19 had to move mattress and wasn&'t sure how to do it since it&'s 11 inches thick. I purchased sealable mattress cover from U-Haul for about $13 which worked great. Highly recommend.

We are very disappointed in our experience with this store. We bought $2600.00 worth of furniture and when the couch was delivered the frame was broke. The delivery people gave us the customer care service number to call and assured us that they would send somebody out to look at it and replace it. We have made 3 phone calls to the customer care number and finally got a call back on Monday. We were told that we would receive a call back from the service people to come look at it within 2-3 days. That was Monday. Today is Friday and not a word from them. You never get a live person when you call customer care - only a recording option to leave a message. This is terrible customer service. We will be walking into the store today and demanding to see the manager.
Sam helped us and was so great! We ended up having to cancel our order due to a delivery delay issue that was independent of the store. Even though that was very difficult and frustrating everyone from this particular store, especially Sam was great!

I had to give one star in order to post a review. The Savannah store on Abercorn deserves a minus 5 (it would have been lower but the delivery staff were wonderful). I ordered a new bedroom set with platform bed. The media chest was damaged and I refused to accept it. The bed rails were not loaded on the truck, so delivery staff had to return the next day. When they attempted to put the headboard on the frame, the predrilled holes did not align. I now have a bed in the bedroom in many pieces as it could not be constructed. I asked the delivery driver to load it back on the truck as it is useless, but there was no room due to a full truck. I have made NUMEROUS phone calls to the store and customer service. I requested they dispatch a truck to get their junk out of my house, and give me a full refund. Each call would result in me needing to explain the 3 mistakes to different personnel. I would get transferred, or promised I would get a return call. I asked for a manager several times, but they seem to never be in the store. I spoke to my saleswoman, who was useless, since she already collected her commission. I finally had to call my credit card company to start a Dispute Process. I waited 5 weeks, and only ended up with useless furniture strewn on the bedroom floor. I just want bedroom furniture. Totally unprofessional company. Never again will they get my business. Save yourself from the hassle I am going through. Stay tuned!
If going into the store-STOP and run fast in the other direction! Some of the furniture came defective and others have missing parts. Management is "never" in store. So they say. They will not return phone calls. No one will rectify my problems. Sales staff collected her Commission but will not help me now. You have been warned. Go someplace else!!!!

DON,T BUY ANY FURNITURE HERE! Great sales staff but delivery system is the worst. I had to wait 33 days for delivery and day of delivery finally here. . . . truck got out late and now pushed all the way to 6 to 6:30 on a Friday night! Didn't inform me until one hour into original delivery window. . . if the truck got out late why wasn't I informed in the morning I could have altered my schedule accordingly. Worst delivery experience I have ever had in 30 years! How about posting the sale on my credit card after furniture is delivered I am sure I would have had my delivery in less than 2 weeks!
Was given a quote from this location on paper and when I returned to purchase the product they said they could not honor it if I didn't purchase the $400 protection plan. If I could rate 0 stars I would! I ordered my furniture July 8th and was told that it would take up to two weeks for my furniture to be delivered, I was totally fine with that. My Sales Person (I’m assuming just to get the sale) says “I had a family order a full bedroom set and they got their furniture that following weekend but I’ll text you on Saturday with an update.” I never received a text or call from her so I called the store myself asking to speak with her I was told by Shelby that my message would get passed along on Saturday. I never received a call so I called back Monday trying to figure out was going on again Shelby answers the phone and tried to figure out what’s going on. She looks in the system and says “It says here your furniture is to be delivered on the 20th.” Me already confused because I did not set up delivery for the 20th knowing that I was not going to be in town just wanted to speak with my sales person! I finally spoke with my sales person and she assured me that she never got a message from Shelby about me calling and that my King frame was in but the mattress was not but she’s going to see what she can do about the mattress and give me a call back. She called me back on her cell phone to let me know that she couldn’t work anything out and that the mattress was DC for the 22nd and that I would get a call to set up delivery. I do not work there and do not know what DC means. So we had our furniture moved out of our room to be ready for the new furniture for the 22nd. I text my sales person on the 22nd and got no response till 5 hours later. So I called the store, the first person I spoke with literally asked me if I wanted the King sized frame to be delivered and set up delivery for my mattress later whenever it arrives! At this point I felt like my intelligence was being questioned and I again asked to speak with a manager and she said Apparently what Shelby was reading was that the mattress would be to the Distribution center on the 20th not my house and that she’s new at this and that the mattress wouldn’t be to the DC until the 26th and I won’t get it until about August 1st-5th! I’m pregnant and currently have no place to sleep! Thank you Ashley Home Furniture Store of Savannah, this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had buying anything. Buying a custom ordered car is easier than this! My partners at the BBB will definitely be hearing from me in this regard.

If I could post zero stars I would. I purchased a dresser, chest and end table for my bedroom on June 7th, 2019. It was delivered a few days later in terrible condition. None of the drawer tracks were made straight inside the dresser , causing all the drawers to be on a slant. The delivery person called the manager Rachel while he was at my home and she said to use the dresser and she would order another dresser. The chest was not in stock at that time, so when it came in I went to pick it up. I had them take it out of the box to be sure it wasn't damaged. He opened the box and the back of the chest was all smashed. I went to the store to talk to Rachel and ask for a refund, because all I had for $850.00 was a night stand. She said that the Corporate office had to do that and they would call me in a couple of days. No one called , so I called back Rachel and she said that they didn't call because I still had the damaged dresser and she would schedule a pick up for the dresser. That's the last I've heard from her . It's July 1st and she has not returned any of my numerous calls. I now will have to go back to the store and try again to get my money back. The furniture they sell there is garbage and the personnel is just as bad. Also, to have such a manager that does not care about their customer's needs is despicable.

My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture Store on Abercorn and purchased a sectional that we were very excited for. When we bought the sectional Saturday, May 11th, we were originally told that we would get a call that following Monday, May 13th, with our delivery date. We did not receive any call, in fact, I didn't get a delivery date until the SECOND time that I called asking about our couch. Finally, after weeks of no communication, I called and got a delivery date for June 18th. Then today, SaturdayJune 15th, we get a call stating that our couch will not be ready for delivery until June 26th. We have waited 6 1/2 weeks for this couch and were hoping to have it in before our family comes into town. They waived our $100 delivery fee but at this point I am ready to cancel our purchase. Definitely will not be shopping from here again.
If I could give this store a ZERO, I would. This is a review 96 days in the making. I ordered furniture from Ashley Furniture on 2/27/19. I purchased a 3 piece chaise sectional, an ottoman, a queen bed, two dressers, a night stand, a sofa table, a buffet table, a media hutch, and a dining room table with 6 chairs. I also purchased the 5 year protection plan for a grand total of $6,890.78 — which was paid in cash. I don’t mention the price or everything I purchased to brag — it’s relevant and it’s also a rare occasion that anybody can furnish their entire home at one time; so I was excited to be able to do so. The first issue occurred when I figured out that I’d been “misled” on what the warranty actually is/was. The salesman, Zee, told me that if I purchased their protection plan & never had to use it; I’d have that amount refunded to me. The warranty costs $750. Not a bad investment to protect such a large purchase, so I purchased the plan. However, if you don’t have to use the warranty, you are not refunded. You are given a store credit to use — assuming they are still in business. There is a HUGE difference in a refund and a store credit; but all the manager (Belinda) said was that Zee was from out of town, so he obviously misspoke. This is when the issue of nobody within the company accepting responsibility started. After zero updates in a month, I called to check on my order. I was assured that even though production was overwhelmed because of the huge sale, I’d have my furniture as promised within the 8 week period. I spoke to the delivery team and told them I’d happily wait until all of the furniture arrived so it could be delivered together. I was assured they’d hold all of my furniture until then ... I had to make myself available on six different occasions for a complete delivery. The level of unprofessionalism is 2nd to none. I was “put on hold” (except, I wasn’t. I heard the awesome way they speak about their customers when they think we can’t hear them.) I was hung up on. I was bold face lied to. I even had to ask for the manager, Jake, to put his promises in writing to ensure they were completed. Is it a surprise that they weren’t? I had to spend an additional hour in the store the day after delivery to get the refund I was promised verbally and in writing. The manager on duty at the time, Rachel, was sure to point out that Jake shouldn’t even have a job because he gave me that in writing. It’s interesting to note that Jake actually gave himself and the store a 5 star review ... Ashley Furniture is in a HUGE (5 week post promise date) breech of contract. There were fake apologies left and right. ••Once they’ve got your cash, they do not care about you as a customer.•• The sectional (3 pieces) arrived at separate times, so I demanded it be reordered and delivered at the same time to ensure equal wear and tear on the $3000 piece. I was assured it would be taken care of. The ottoman was NOT reordered and redelivered, and is already showing signs of wear and fading ... after less than 2 months. The sofa table I ordered is not what was delivered. When I brought that to the attention of the delivery team, they called their boss, who told me it was no longer manufactured — which is why they gave me the courtesy of the larger table as a replacement. Well, the issue there is that the table they delivered is 10 inches wider than the sofa table ... What other business takes it upon themself to redesign your home? The kicker to ALL of this, is that when I finally received all of my furniture (on JUNE 3) there was a tear in the arm of the sectional. I called to report it, and was offered a $50 store credit. No thanks! This particular store is not a corporate location, so there really is no chain of command to follow or for the consumer to reach out to if things aren’t handled in store. PLEASE do yourself a favor and take your business and hard earned money anywhere and everywhere else.
The experience I had in Ashley Furnitures store was great. Greeted with a smile all the way until my husband and I left. Unfortunately the service after my purchase has been horrific. I bought my sectional May 14, 2019. I was told it would be on back order for 3 weeks because how popular it was. So my husband was called a week and a half into those 3 weeks and was told the delivery date would be June 6,2019. And the couch was coming from Mississippi that’s why it takes so long and we would be getting a call within the next week to set up a good time for us for the delivery and set up process. We never got another call from anyone. My husband called June 5th and spoke to someone in the distribution center for Ashley furniture to set up a time that. He was unsettled because if he hadn’t done that then he wouldn’t have been able to take the time off, and he is in the army which is not an easy process to do at such short of notice. So the day is finally here and we are supposed to be expecting our couch between the hours of 11:30 am- 2:00 pm. Well that time frame came and went. We were never called by any one to confirm what was going with the delivery process. I then called the distribution center again and spoke to a woman who seemed my issue was a laughing matter which caused more frustration on my end. I then asked to speak to her supervisor and she oust me hold and let’s me know that the manager of the delivery service will be calling me back. When I asked for the supervisor again she said I’d get a call back. I haven’t not yet heard from the supervisor. My husband did receive a call from the manager of the trucking business but let him know that they’ll for sure get it out to us today. We don’t have a time frame nor number to reach anyone. I know feel stuck in this situation with a couch I purchased but still have yet received and I am getting the run around with no answers or help. Ashley has lost a great customer due to the lack of customer service.
Do NOT purchase from this Ashley store. I am going on 6 weeks now of my son sleeping on his mattress on the floor because they cannot get me a simple piece to a bedroom set that I am now receiving bills for. Store management is an absolute joke and is (conveniently) never available to talk when you call. Curious who is actually in charge then when a manager is never in the building. When I finally did speak to somebody who claimed to have authority, I was made promises that have not been followed through on and so I once again contacted the store and left a message 5 days ago that has not been returned. Quality of what I have received is not up to par with cost. Wobbly coffee table, cheap wood. Terrible, terrible, wouldn't wish it on your worst enemy service. Never again and I will make sure to tell everybody I know to never purchase from the Savannah location.
We came back in to actually buy the item we looked at before. Izzy wasn&'t working, and we approached the first person we saw when we walked in, &"Spicer.&" We told him we had talked to Izzy a couple days before and told him what she had guaranteed us. He got really loud and basically looked at us like we were stupid for thinking something could be that low in price. I started getting the impression that he was going to get Izzy in trouble because he was being super obnoxious and down right rude. When we were getting ready to leave, he started apologizing because I think he caught on we were upset by the whole interaction, but he should never have needed to apologize in the first place. To make it even better, he said that my friend was just being defensive. It was super unprofessional and I&'m surprised that he is even in a manager position. I only know he is in a manager position because he made it super clear that he was a manager by letting us know and saying that he was in charge of sales or pricing.... basically something super irrelevant because he works at a furniture store. I will never give this store my business unless I speak with Izzy directly. She is the one who deserves a manager position. Spicer needs to learn how to interact with customers properly.
My experience started out great here. I was working with a fantastic gal, Izzy. She was so great personality wise, selling wise, just an all around great person. She sold me on a couch but I still wanted to think on it a bit so she gave me her information and was there for me to address all concerns over the next few days. So if you come in, I&'m telling you see Izzy she gave me an incredible deal. So finally I&'m ready to buy the couch. I come in and was greeted right away by Kevin spicer. I explained I already knew what I wanted and walked to the couch. He was trying to tell me the couch was $900 when I was quoted $625 with delivery included... so this was the first issue and then proceed to tell me I was basically a liar for saying that&'s the price Izzy gave me. Thankfully I had our texts between each other that he could see. What pissed me off was Ashley&'s website was selling the couch for $649 with a 10% off coupon as well going on.. so the store has a $250 mark up. But don&'t worry people Kevin can price match.. He was a total donkey hole during this entire process and had the audacity to tell me I probably took what he was saying defensively.. are you freaking kidding me?!? I was taking you calling me a liar defensively?!? Everything in my gut was telling me I should have come back and waited for Izzy but I needed the couch so I bought it. I would never shop with him again in my life. I&'m shocked he&'s a manager. He was probably one of the rudest people I&'ve dealt with in a long time.
This place is pretty chill. We were greeted and somebody helped us right away. They have a ton of options and help you out if they don't have something you are looking for. This place is air conditioned and Izzy is chill af. She just got us a discount and they also have military discount on top of their sales. I had a great time here and will definitely come back if I need anything for my house. Ask for izzy, she has the hookup.
Salespeople have to use a binder, calculator and talk to the manager to find out what anything costs. Prices are not posted because instead of just listing the price and explaining how financing increases the price, they mask missing finance charges as cash up front discounts. Just put prices so we can shop without being followed around the store by a confused salesperson. Thanks
I genuinely wish I could rate this store 0 stars. I had the worst experience with them. Their communication skills are deplorable, from the manager down. I purchased a bed, foundation, matress and matress protector, paid in full at the time of purchase. At no point was I ever told my items were on back order. I was quoted 3 to 8 weeks. My salesman repeatedly told me they usually come in 2 weeks. He also told me they would ship my matress protector with my bed. At 3 weeks I called to get a status update. I could not get anyone on the phone. I left a message. No one ever returned my call. I waited 3 days and then called their corporate line to see if someone could pull it up. Corporate told me they would research it and give me a call back. They never called back. They called approximately a week later and said my items would be delivered but that they needed to send a loaner matress because mine wasn't in yet. They asked me not to take the plastic off. Okay.. cool, I guess. The loaner they sent me was awful. It was very lumpy like it had been rolled or folded. It ended up being unusable and we slept in our old bed in our spare room for close to 3 weeks. During this 3 weeks I called multiple times to inquire about my matress. I left messages 2 times without receiving a call back but eventually got someone from corporate to help me get them to answer and was finally told it was on back order. My matress finally came but there was no protector. I called the store again and was assured it was being shipped to us that very day. We continued to sleep in our spare room so as not to risk damaging the very expensive investment we just made and 9 days later I called to let the store know I still didn't have my matress protector. They informed me it never got sent out. I requested to speak with the manager and was told I would have to leave a message. I called back in 3 hours and she was unavailable. I waited another 2 hours. She was unavailable. I finally called back and the end of the day and said I would hold for her. She had no intention of calling me back. I explained to her what happened. She apologized while justifying and making excuses. She eventually promised she would ship out my mattress protector and that she was going to submit a request for a partial refund of either $200 or $300 to her boss and she would call me back to process that refund to my card. That was a month ago. I finally received my protector a d would rather just be done with this business entirely than to push her to honor her word. I know there are people who will read this who will assume I'm exxagerating or I'm an awful customer. All I've wanted from this place is communication. I paid them $3600, I just wanted to be treated like that mattered to them.

Scam. Purchased a queen bed frame and dresser in March. Informed them that when it would be delivered it needed to stay in the box because I wouldn’t be moving into my apartment yet and was informed that it wouldn’t be a problem. It was delivered out of the box a month later and had scrapes and dents. Which is exactly why I wanted it to stay in the box. It took me well over a month and countless calls to both the store and customer service before I could finally get in touch with someone regarding the damages and when I did, I was told a tech would be contacting me to set up a time to come out and check it. If it wasn’t something that could be fixed, it would be replaced. When the tech came out, we were told the paint couldn’t be matched so it would most likely be replaced. Didn’t hear anything for a couple weeks so I called them and was told that somebody ordered the paint and they would be contacting me again to schedule another time to come out. At this point I was tired of getting the runaround, so I contacted the company I financed it with and the problem was solved in less than a week with them sending someone to pick it up with no hassle. But from Aaron’s though. My sister got a vanity set and financed through Ashley and they didn’t include the actual seat and told her that wasn’t what she paid for even though she specifically asked them what she was paying for before we left the store and they tried to make her pay extra for the seat. She decided she no longer wanted it and tried to see what she could do to return it. She was harassed for weeks through phone calls, and finally told that she needed to return it to Rent-A-Center. Not sure why our furniture would be returned to Aaron’s and Rent-A-Center if we purchased through Ashley. I wouldn’t advise anyone to shop here for anything. It’s definitely overpriced with HORRIBLE customer service.
So I called Ashley about the furniture I ordered April 12, 2019. Told delivery would be April 17... all 3 rooms of furniture. Wednesday April 15 we went in and purchased another bedroom set for $2,000. Thursday May 18 I get a call confirming delivery. For a grand total of $7,900 in furniture. So this morning I&'m up and excited! Cleaned the floors after Goodwill came and picked up our old stuff. The delivery guy ( don&'tRemember his name but he was so so nice) came into the house with a dining room chair. A CHAIR. Nothing else. After 7 phone calls which went to a voice mailbox the &"manager&" finally answer the phone. So sorry giveMe an hour and I&'ll call you back. 2 1/2 hourslater she calls back and says none of my furniture (except THE CHAIR) made it on the truck. So so sorry. All of the first order will be their May 23. We can lend you furniture but it won&'t be their till next week. Oooo... and we will give you a $300 credit. I should have believed the guy down the block from me who ordered his Ashley furniture 2 months ago and still hasn&'t received it. I should have believed the reviews which were pretty bad for the store I bought from. I have bought from Ashley before and never had this problem (in Ft. Lauderdale). So here I sit on a lawn chair in my living room anticipating what excuse I will here next week from Ashley when my furniture doesn&'t get delivered.

I went in the store looking for bedding and found it a little pricey but, wound up finding a sofa and 2 chairs that I fell In love with! The down side to this is that I've bn waiting now for 6...6! Weeks to get my furniture!!..not good for me to ever want to shop there again🙁🙁😞 5/16/19...SOOOOO dissatisfied to find out my shipment was not complete!! I waited 5 weeks for my sectional. I was assured it would be ready by the 1st of May. It is now the 14th. The communication and customer service was HORRIBLE. I will not shop here again
The sales rep was very kind and helpful then turned out everything she told me was incorrect. I was told my delivery would take no more than 2 1/2 weeks and it's been over a month and I still have no furniture. The customer service has been horrible and I have been told numerous times I would receive a call back with info on my delivery status and then not receive any calls. I am in the process of canceling my order however I have been told twice this morning that the manager will call me back in 30 mins and we are now going on 3 hours. Extremley disappointed with this store as we were so excited to get this beautiful furniture. Never again will I do business with them.
Fast and friendly, came in to pick up a couch, found one and got us ready to check out in minutes, although the delivery process took a while, just shy under a month, to come even though I lived 15 minutes away from the warehouse, when it was finally delivered they where in and out within 20 minutes of assembling, overall satisfied
If you are interested in purchasing furniture from this store, DONT! They will take your money and literally forget about you. It’s been almost 10 WEEKS and I haven’t heard anything from them. my receipt clearly stated that the wait would be between 3 to 8 weeks. We had been patient and did not bother them from the start until we realized that they were not going to give us an update on the status of our purchases. We would’ve been better off buying from a competitor. At least we would’ve had our furniture by now. Again do not buy anything from this place unless you are getting the display furniture

Had to change my review! Second time within six months buying furniture from them. We spent about 5,000 here. Never going back to them again. They took 9 weeks and multiple phone calls and they still didn't have my delivery scheduled and there is a piece that still wasn't in yet. With all the money I spent here and all the hassle of waiting past the contracted time they didn't do anything for me. Oh and buyers be warned everything in the store is marked way the hell up in price so they can make it seem like your getting a great deal. Check the online website before purchasing anything!!!!!

DO NOT BUY YOUR FURNITURE HERE. IT IS A SCAM. I purchased a king storage bed and matress here on Febuary 23, 2019. I waited the initial 8 weeks to have the wrong size matress and wrong bed frame delivered on April 16, 2019. It is now April 28, 2019 and I have just requested a refund because frankly I am tired of the lies and waiting. I was told it would take 60-90 days to get my refund. Essentially just as long as I have waited to not receive products. I fully intend to inform the CEO of there bad buisiness practices as well as the Better Buisiness Bureau. I urge you to read all of the reviews on this store before putting your money in limbo. Update: Ashley has since replied to my review. They insinuate that as long as they are in the ballpark of what you ordered so same type of bed but not what you ordered and the same style matress but not the correct size again, a full instead of a king so a large difference, that it is ok. Instead of admitting they where wrong they would like to blame me for there issues. Very big of you Ashley. They are very unprofessional and should not be trusted with a purchase so valuable or important to families.
Bought a sectional sofa at a local store. It was delivered after TWO months and was missing a section. Still waiting on missing section after almost a month. Would find anyone else to do business with.
Absolutely ridiculous. The delivery team they must have contracted out was supposed to arrive with our furniture between 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm. Because of delays they called and said it would be around 6:30. I finally get a call saying they are 15 minutes out at 6:30 pm. 20 minutes later I get another call saying they are on my street and asked if I could come outside because they are having trouble finding the house. There’s no truck on the street. They delivery driver went to the mailing address instead of the delivery address. So they hang up on me. After trying to make calls to the logistics company I receive a call saying they are behind schedule because of loading dock issues. So the guy lies to me because he must think I didn’t just speak to his drivers that are at the wrong address. He informs me they will arrive before 7 pm, I look at the clock and its 7:21 pm. This guy can’t even tell time so how is he able to track anything? He says that they will be there soon to drop my couch off. I never receive another phone call. I try to call and get sent to voicemail. Still no couch. We call Ashley’s the next morning and they tell us we can’t get the couch until a week from today now. So because their driver made a mistake we now have to be inconvenienced for an even longer period of time? Extremely disappointed. We had a great experience in the store. It's a shame they can't get their delivery and customer service together.
Zero stars. The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. No exaggeration. My saleswomen was great and very helpful. When the sale is made however, be ready to get taken for a ride. I'm not one to post negative or positive comments ever but this experience has been so horrible I've dedicated some time just for this. I've been told twice already when my furniture would arrive and Ashley has not been able to keep their word. Im currently still living on an air mattress after moving from NC to GA for a job. I purchased my furniture with enough time to have a real bed before my job started so I would be able to rest comfortably and function properly at my new job. I'm two weeks into my new job and currently still living on an air mattress. Thank you Ashley. I will highly discourage anyone from shopping here. It is a complete nightmare.

We ordered furniture in store several weeks ago. We were told that delivery would be within 2 weeks. Not only did they overcharge us compared to other pricing we found, but its been almost 4 weeks with no delivery. We tried to schedule it for Saturday but they never showed up and called me while I was at work to tell me it wouldn't be there until MIDNIGHT, which would not work for us. Then they told us they would try to work us in on Tuesday because of the hassle. Call on Tuesday. . . . . they have no idea what we're talking about and can't schedule us in. Finally get a hold of someone to schedule later in the week but i can't confirm delivery anywhere. This is a nightmare. . . . don't order furniture from here!! We bought furniture from Rooms to Go weeks later and it was delivered within 3 days. Go somewhere else, seriously.
I am so disappointed in my experience with Ashley Furniture in Savannah, GA. It was a tough decision to make a purchase because Savannah doesn’t have many quality furniture stores. I had recently moved, so I was already without a living room couch for a month. Ashley was my final stop after shopping around. I decided on a sectional during one of their big sales. I informed my sales rep that I had a certain budget and a deal waiting for me at another store. With the sale percentage on the retail sticker, the price was still above my budget. She stated she could talk to her manager about the pricing. Rep comes back with a lowered price, I agreed it was a good deal. I ask about delivery dates and she states it’s 2-6 weeks because of the sale. I was okay with that. The problems is, we’re 5 and half weeks in. I call to get an update about my delivery and the customer service rep tells me it’s ANOTHER month. I’ve asked for a refund and even THAT is a run around. OH yeah that “deal” I was given, was just a lie and a scam. I went to the corporate website just to get measurements on my couch. It was already marked down to that price! Had I been given this information, I would have just gotten the couch waiting for me from the other store. I went from excited to disappointed and then angry. I’ll never purchase from here again. They don’t know how to be transparent and they don’t show customer appreciation. Sickening.
Bought a bedroom suite February 25,2019 paid over 6,000. 00 wrote a check . I still haven't received any of my furniture. It's been 8 weeks when we call them it's the same story it hasn't come in yet and they can't give me a delivery date. I'm going to my bank to see if I can dispute my check and get my money back for failure to deliver my purchase on time. Has anyone else had this problem? They told us 3-4 weeks for delivery now it's 8 weeks

We left the store 5 weeks ago really excited for our new couch. 5 weeks, multiple phone calls and store visits later, and no delivery or answers, I feel like I’m trapped in a scam. I have never dealt with such poor customer service and delivery wait time, especially for something I paid $100 to have delivered!! As I’m reading through the reviews, I’m noticing a theme of people having delivery issues, warranty issues, lack of communication issues. And I’m noticing the owner dismissing plenty of it with a blanket apology. We just want our couch. And a CLEAR description of the warranty we probably shouldn’t of bought. Update: since reviewing I have be contacted with an explanation of how ordering through this store works, and have gotten my delivery scheduled. Based on the delivery itself I may change the review. However I do think you should prepare yourself when buying from here. Ashley furniture has brand recognition and good quality, if they could just get their customer service to be consistent they’d be set.
My experience was poor. Very poor. First I was quoted a price that didn't include tax that to me was misleading. Then when i decided to pick up my furniture I get told that I have to go to the Wharehouse on the outskirts of town. Then the icing on the cake we purchased more furniture still haven't received the last piece the manager hasn't returned a courtesy phone call and the sales staff has no idea when the table will be in ,and it's just coming from the Bluffton store. Sale or no sale I wil reconsider spending my hard earned money with this store again
After spending 5 weeks asking for updates and whereabouts of a couch we purchased here, I am fed up. The delivery window quote is ridiculous (3-8 weeks in store, 4-5 on the website, 3-4 weeks quotes by the flaky salesman), and with a $100 delivery fee we should be able to get info on where the couch we have already paid for is. Every other business provides order numbers, tracking for delivery, and a person to answer the phone. Shopping here is a scam. You won't get a clear answer no matter who or when you call. I even went into the store and got a vague answer from the woman who readily took our payment that she "thinks" we "should" get a call "soon" to schedule the delivery. I could have ordered a couch from CHINA and had it delivered faster and at least had a good reason for why it took so long. We will never buy from this store again, and I am making sure the Better Business Bureau looks into the business practice of this shady money hungry company.

I was in need of a low profile queen box spring just 2 days for filming a video to sell our house. The sales woman was outstanding and immediately walked me back to the loading dock where we found exactly what I needed. The delivery men then loaded it into their truck and it was delivered 2 hours later to my house! The price was reasonable and the box spring is of good quality. Wish I would have gone there first instead of wasting time at other stores with no results. Thank you! 00
My salesperson was Trevon. He exhibited a moral character and told me the truth, rather than saying anything to get a sale. I would do business there again. When I inquired about the status of my order, he checked and gave me accurate info. My deliver guys were all polite and friendly.
Customer service after the sale doesn't exist. Phone calls are not returned and delays in delivery are not communicated at all. Take the five star reviews with a grain of salt. I know their employees write fake reviews to try to keep the ratings high. They basically make the sale and then ghost you.

Manufacturing delays are not under their control, but, communicating those delays is 100% in their control.

Do not buy from the store in Savannah! They double the price from the online store. Total rip off! In store price up charge was $1500!
The store was having an inventory reduction sale and we were pleasantly surprised as we did not go because of that. We were looking to replace a worn out sofa and were ready to spend a fair amount to get a higher quality piece. First issue was that all the prices listed were x'ed out but no sale prices were listed. Next the floor salesman told us that only the colors on the floor were available and then he "realized" that the two we were considering were actually available in the color we wanted. Then he went to write up the costs, it was starting to feel like the kind of bait and switch crap you deal with at a car dealership. He came back with numbers that were higher then the numbers listed as the price that was marked out. "Oh this is just to show you what you are saving. " without actually showing us the price. Finally, after 30 minutes we got the actual price from him, but still they two sets were priced differently and the numbers did not add up. Finally he said we could get either piece for the same price (there was a $200 difference between the two pieces) We felt like it was a decent deal but were not 100% sold so we wanted to talk it over. They offered to take another $300 off. We agreed to the offer, plus the four year protection plan. Our salesman tells us that he wants to double check to make sure the piece is in storage. Oh no! Only 4 pieces are in their warehouse and we may not get one, we won't know until Monday. So, obvious question, if we pay for it and they end up not having it will we get a full refund. This seems like and obvious thing, but at this point there had been so much weirdness with the price we had to ask. Good thing we did. The sales guy goes to his manager - who not only did not speak to us at all, but spoke rudely about how we shouldn't expect a guarantee since we weren't paying full price while we were standing there. (important to note here - we never asked for anything but the price, we did not ask for a deal, this was the price they offered us). She was incredibly put out that customers would want to know if they could get what they bought or get a refund. The final word was that we would probably not get the piece we ordered, it was being discontinued (which raises the question why get the protection plan) but we would get the other sectional (in a color we did not like, that was listed as cheaper then the one we liked but we would pay the same price as the more expensive one - convoluted? yes. ) At this point we walked. And then found the exact same sectional online for $500 less with a free delivery. Conclusion - do not shop at this store unless you want to get the run around, treated like pariahs, and trash talked. Go there to check out the furniture and then buy it on line.
Staff, including Rachel Lark the manager, are very unprofessional. GO ELSEWHERE. I noticed a random charge from them and called them about it. I already spent more than 4,000 at their store and they had the audacity to charge me MORE money for whatever reason. I showed them my original receipt and the charges don't match theirs conveniently. Rachel at first said she would get back to me about the charge but I had to keep calling and calling and still haven't recieved my money. I bought my furniture in August and it's March now..... Lazy and out for money. The furniture is cheaply made and I will never buy from this disgusting place ever again.

There is poor communication here between sales and the manager. I was overcharged by $100+ I noticed when I received my statement from Wells Fargo regarding pictures I purchased. I was told in store and via text message by the sales rep. Trevon that the art work was $250 and after my coupon it would be $200. Needless to say my bank statement showed they charged me $300 and clearly/obviously hiked up the price and chose not to apply the coupon they gave me the week before when I purchased a sectional. After calling to dispute the charges with the store manger Rachel Larke she advised me she would take care of it and contact Wells Fargo. Well 7 weeks later there has been NO adjustment to my account and when I contacted Ms. Larke she said she never said that and blah blah blah and that the sales rep. would have to pay me out of his pocket. (Clearly they give anyone a job, and clearly she has no respect for her co-workers to ever say that... and clearly she could use additional training as how to deal with customers) All in all the Mgr. Ms. Larke should have followed up with the sales rep Trevon to see where the miscommunication was between them instead of telling me I was making our conversation up. Lastly, to whom it may concern I still have the text messages I exchanged with the sales rep to show everything that was said. If this is not fixed I will be going to small claims out of principle. This was at the Savannah store on Abercorn so buyers beware.

I should have listened to the community and gone elsewhere. While I am pleased with the products I chose - I am less than satisfied with the service after all was said and done. I inquired about my protection plan on my furniture a week after it was delivered. I had a question about my receipts, wanted clarity of the protection, and was hoping to schedule a time to pickup what looked like something I had purchased but did not receive. I was brushed off and told he'll talk to his salesperson? With online shopping, and competitors across the street - the manager of this store needs to adopt a mindset of delievering an excellent customer experience whether someone is planning to spend money, research, or even make a complaint that he feels like he doesn't have time for. Condescension is a great way to make someone regret ever giving this store a chance and spending thousands of dollars with them. Customer service after the card is swiped really goes a long way, and you will not get it from this store. This store clearly does not appreciate the business this community brings.
I love my furniture but the so called warranty is some bs.. I was lead to believe that my warranty covered all my furniture and accessories..my rug has a rip on it they said not covered...my chair us discolored..not covered..my couch has accidental stains on it not covered unless you report it in 72 hrs. Warranty does cover accidental but not accumulation of accidental stains..not sure how they can tell the stains were accumulated but that's what they said..so not covered..salesperson has you believing that any kind of stain is covered..so basically only accident they will cover is if your couch rips..which is not likely..and I'm sure they will find something to say like no that's an accumulation of rips... But on the bright side if u don't use the warranty they give you a 200 dollar store credit..which can be me a lamp or maybe a vase...woooow.smh

My story is basically the same exact one as all of the other 1 star reviews.. not an anomaly as the owner responses seem to suggest. We purchased a sectional in December and were told that it would be delivered to our apartment within two weeks, and that I would be receiving a phone call within 2-3 days to schedule the delivery time. Well, a week went by and not a single word came from Ashley. I had to call FIVE separate times to get someone on the phone who could tell me what was going on with our order, only to be told that the system wasn’t able to load our order correctly and that I would get a call back in an hour with an update. I never received a call back. I had to physically go into the brick and mortar location and speak with a manager to be told that our order wasn’t going to even leave the manufacturer until the very end of January, two and a half weeks after the promised delivery date. I was told I would receive a phone call closer to then with an update on our order status. Once again, no one contacted me. Once again, I called multiple times and wasn’t able to get anyone on the phone who could give me an accurate date as to when our order would ship. ONCE AGAIN, I had to physically go into the store to be told that “there wasn’t a set date” that my order would ship the manufacture. I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of customer service, the deceit, and the sheer disregard to my concerns regarding my order. I cannot stress how awful of an experience this has been, and I will NEVER shop at this Ashley, nor others after this. This is clearly a common occurrence with this store - as you can see by the other reviews that are extremely similar to my own. Do not shop here. This has been a waste of time, energy and a lot of money. Absolutely horrible.

1st time there, beautiful furniture, awesome New Year's sale
Do NOT buy from Ashley Furniture, especially the one located at 8108 Abercorn Street, Savannah GA 31406. Besides having overpriced furniture, their salesmen will lie and say whatever they need to say to make a sale. Their shipping times are HORRENDOUS and their customer service is even WORSE. My husband and I are newlyweds and used the money from our wedding to upgrade to a king sized bed. We bought the mattress and the bed from Ashley Furniture on Black Friday. It is now 2 MONTHS LATER and we just found out our bed won't arrive to the warehouse until mid February!! Mind you, this DOES NOT mean we will receive our items at that time. It simply means the warehouse will be able to SHIP at that time. So tack on another 1-2 weeks!! Our salesman Sam also assured us that our old mattress would be taken away as long as it is in a mattress bag. So my husband promptly buys one a few days after initial purchase only to be told NOW that "they can't take old items and it is against their policy." We have been jerked around so much by this company that it has left us absolutely disgusted, infuriated and finished with them completely. We spent well over $3,000 and would have spent more in the future if not for this experience!! Looking forward to the day that your shady business tactics land you OUT OF BUSINESS.

Update: We decided to give this store another try since they relocated. Our recent experience was just a horrible as the first one. We ordered a leather loveseat and sofa. The sofa was delivered with no problem, however we returned the loveseat because it looked used/warn. The second time they delivered the loveseat we noticed the same thing so, this time my husband took pictures of it and didn't accept the delivery. The fourth time they tried to deliver the loveseat we noticed that it was the same exact loveseat from before (because of the pictures). Thankfully the contracted delivery guy told the warehouse that they would not deliver to our address unless they provided them with a brand new set out of the box. Upon inspection we were finally able to get what we paid for. Thank God for good people. Very disappointing so I'm going to stick with my first mind and never order from here again. If I pay full price for a brand new set.....that's exactly what I want! Nothing used, worn, or broken. ~ We ordered a loveseat and sofa from them a few months ago and the set was delivered damaged. We attempted to have it exchanged and re ordered ....and one of the two exchanged items were delivered damaged (3 months later!) We asked to have the furniture returned to the store because we were dissatisfied with the quality. I didn't like the fact that we had to contact the home store and be placed on hold (for 15 minutes) while the manager and other sales reps had a clandestine meeting on rather or not they would allow the return. I was beyond insulted when they tried to offer us a discount on other items. We wanted what we ordered! Ashley is not the quality furniture store it once was. We will not be ordering anything else from them. No, I do not want 10 percent off and no I do not want 12 months no interest!
