Tabitha was great!

We visited Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Valdosta GA today and had the best sales associate Matthew Gilbert anyone could ever ask for. He was attentive to what we needed and we were able to find exactly what we wanted. If ever we need any other Furniture we will always have him help us.

Excellent shopping experience, Tiffany met us at the door with a smile and friendly demeanor. She was very thorough and knowledgeable, highly recommend!

Update: I received a call today that I would be getting a refund for restocking fee. Since they made it right I have decided to change my review and give them another chance when it comes to shopping with them. I originally had a really good experience at this store. Everyone was nice and I bought a sectional, two end tables, and a recliner that matched the sectional. Also purchased in the store a battery pack for the recliner chair so that my recliner did not have to have a cord running across my floor. I received my sectional and 2 end tables approximately 3 weeks after ordering. I paid 399.99 for delivery and 599.00 for insurance on sectional. After 3 days I knew I did not love the sectional and decided that I would cancel my recliner. Everything worked out with that so I called the store to ask if I could return the battery because I would no longer be needing it. They said yes. At no time was I ever told of a restocking fee. I paid $390.61 for the power pack that’s taxes included. I was refunded 300.19. So I called to see where the rest of the money I paid was and was told it’s a restocking fee. I took it as sold to me still sealed in the box with plastic around it in the same bag and they are charging me 90 to stick it back on the shelf in the store? So I called corporate only to get an offer of apologies but told that is their policy. I didn’t really want the thing in the first place and had I been told it would cost me 90 if I decided to return I wouldn’t have walked out of the store with it. I will no longer buy from Ashley furniture. I have never had issues before and my living room furniture and bedrooms (2) are from there. I know it’s just 90 dollars but I’ve spent thousands there over the years.

Using grimy salesman’s tactics, had us sign up for a credit card with Wells Fargo without saying it until we explicitly asked as we’re signing paperwork. Then he says it’s a soft credit card check, it was NOT, it was a hard check. Order gets delivered and he did not include the box spring in “the black Friday deal”. Also said if we are not happy with order we can return for free within a few days. Went back to the store, now manager says it’s 25% return restock fee. We have to pay for the box spring. First and last time ever buying from Ashley’s furniture. They’re professionals in screwing people over. Never again.

Nice, clean store with a range of modern and traditional choices with fair prices and financing. Julian greeted us when we first walked in and helped us the entire time. He was patient, kind, helpful & understanding with our children also. The manager Tabitha stepped in to offer more help and lovely suggestions. Overall great experience and we walked out with furniture for practically our whole home.

I never in my years of purchasing from ashleys furniture, have i ever been helped by someone who smelled like weed. I'm completely fine with weed personally, but how can I make an important purchase that cost me a couple grand when I'm being rung up and helped by someone who smells like weed. especially by a manager who tells me how easy it is to pass a drug test. I'm glad the young lady helping me out told me about her "already concerning" position she was in. she felt helpless. i promised her i would complain and i hope this gets addressed accordingly. I've never had an issue with ashleys before, but this will be the first and last time im ever stepping foot in the valdosta location

She tells me someone will contact me soon. Customer Service very rude. I said it is not even put together what do we do!? We paid for this. We was told to wait for call back!?? She hangs up, and I get a text for a request for our warranty!?? Are you serious!?? So I paid FULL price of over 2 grand to be told the insurance people will contact us? Never again will I go to this place!

Matthew Gilbert made a deal with us that was not honored when we got our delivery inventory. Transaction was based off a key piece, we payed cash, but ultimately he did not keep his word. Hope to get a refund soon! Get EVERYTHING in writing before making a purchase here.

Great customer service and deals!

My wife and I had a great experience here. We got to chat with the floor manager and a sales rep Tiffany S. They helped us order and finance the exact couch we wanted, then helped us fix our order when we picked a couch that was too big for our home lol! Big thanks to them, we would definitely come back 👍👍👍

EDIT: One piece of my order (a sofa) arrived to me with an over 12 inch long slash in the leather courtesy the delivery team (assuming they accidentally cut it when removing the plastic). Called Tabitha about this and was told the only fix the can offer is a LEATHER REPAIR KIT. For my brand new sofa. That I paid $1,400 for. TABITHA THINKS I SHOULD ACCEPT A BRAND NEW SOFA WITH A GIGANTIC HOLE. I'll edit my review IF and only if I received details for a replacement couch. And I will be raising hell until then. Omg, just had the most productive and fun shopping trip with the help of Tabitha. Got a living room and dining room set. Tabitha was amazing at translating what I saw in my head or said I liked into finding the perfect options to choose from. Will definitely be back in the future!

Today I went in to test mattresses out. Didn’t really plan to purchase one but I ended up doing so especially because there was a sale. However, Tiffany played a big part in it. As soon as I walked in I told her I was just looking and she respected that. She led me to the mattresses and explained the different types. I’m glad she did because I learned a few new things. I never really had to buy a good mattress because I never had issues sleeping on just any mattress. But I guess I’m at that point where a good one is needed lol. We were in the market for a new couch. The first time we came by, we met Tiffany and she was awesome. She answered all of our questions and gave us time to discuss and browse. She isn't one of those sales associates that hover over you while you are shopping (which we’ve experienced in the past). We came back a second time and luckily she was working that day. We had three kid under the age of 8 and she was super patient with us as we were trying to decide on a couch, do the configuration and customizations, while keeping the kiddos calm. This was such a great experience from start to finish and Tabitha was incredibly helpful and exceptionally knowledgeable about every product in the store. She was able to tell our vibe out almost immediately and knew exactly what we should look at. She felt like we brought a super knowledgeable friend along with us. She didn't push anything on us we didn't need and kept a relaxed atmosphere. We also have to give a shout-out to the rockstar that is Ashley (the salesperson, not the store) who was also very helpful and kind and took the time to watch after our 3 year old allowing us to shop without worrying about what shenanigans our toddler was getting into. Overall the best possible experience one could get when make such important and expensive decisions. We left the store very confident and satisfied with our purchases with no buyers regret. Quite literally a 10/10 experience from start to finish.

I like the attention I received, but Ashley has a big problem and the problem is the delivery, they are bad, they give you a time and from there on it could take 3 weeks or more. I place an order a week ago, and I am going tomorrow to cancel it. And go somewhere else. I will not recommend Ashley to my friends without letting them know how the work.

This store is HUGE. They have tons of inventory in the showroom. Jennifer our sales associate done a great job assisting us with our needs. We had a really good experience. The sales person was really helpful. She helped us find the right furniture for what we needed. She didn’t stop there but looked at the store prices and on line prices, plus other discounts to make sure we were paying the right price. In early May my husband and I went in the store to just browse around and get some ideas, as we were in the middle of a complete home renovation. At first glance store is beautiful, clean & well organized. We were greeted by the BEST sales representative ever , Matt. First let me just start by saying , he was very tentative and NOT pushy at all. He allowed us to get our ideas and assisted with making decisions based on our home’s measurements. We left that day with a great feeling and confidence that we would certainly be back to see Matt. Matt kept his word, he stayed in touch with me since May , sent me all sales events. So we have come to a close on our renovation , Matt sent a great 4th of July sales reminder to us , we went in and sealed our deal with our new furniture and new found friend. Me and My husband had a great experience at Ashley Store. Ask for Tiffany! From the moment we walked in she welcomed us with a warm smile and was ready to help us and ask any questions we had. She was not hoovering over us like some businesses do. She helped us find the perfect mattress for me and my husband through our needs/wants she was veryyyyy informal about the mattress she wasn't forcing or rushing us to get anything. She answered all of our questions and she was soo patient with us. The price that we bought our mattress and base is alot cheaper here at Ashley than any other store I've been to! This is definitely the store you want to visit, ask for Tiffany!

Will not recommend. Purchased a mattress and adjustable bed base. Was told it would be delivered within 2wk. The items was not delivered as told. I was sent numerous of text messages but no delivery. It’s going on 2months still no items delivered that I have paid for in full. Ashley Furniture mislead their customers of when the items will be delivered. Very disappointed customer will not shop there again. If I could I would give them no star. Will not recommend.

Gave 1 star because I had to. Will never do business here again. Sales experience was pleasant but of course it was. They’re selling you a product. Spent almost $4k on furniture. Purchased the Guardian protection plan (the same cost as an additional piece of furniture mind you, so I could’ve just replaced the piece myself). Had one piece that was broken upon delivery (it happens). That piece was replaced. Had another piece break within the first couple months (not happy but so what). This is where the nightmare of an 18 month process started. Could not get ahold of anyone at the store. Emailed the salesperson. No response even though I received quick replies during the sales and payment process. Again impossible to get ahold of them after a sale was made. Tried multiple times to contact the store and nothing. Talked to Guardian and was told it was an Ashley problem because it occurred within the product’s one year warranty. This began a back and forth of Guardian telling me to call Ashley and Ashley telling me to call Guardian. No one would accept fixing the issue. Got tired of dealing with the back and forth and agreed to pay another $180 to have a repairman come out and fix the broken furniture. Repairman comes out and says it’s not fixable. Filled out the paperwork notifying the company of the repairman’s findings. Again, a back and forth with Ashley and Guardian about how to go about this. Spoke with multiple people from both Guardian and Ashley and same old story of one telling me to call the other. Finally got Ashley’s word that they would replace the furniture. Called the number in the message to schedule the new furniture order. Was told by the Ashely employee that I would receive a phone call notifying me when it was in stock and could be picked up. Did that phone call ever come? No. Instead, I received an automated text saying I had until X/X/XX to complete this process. Called Ashley AGAIN after that and asked for the store’s contact info to see if they had the furniture in stock. “They don’t have a store number,” I was told. So now Ashley’s headquarters tells me they can’t even get me in contact with the store to see if they have the furniture and instead I have to “Just go by the store.” I live an hour from the store and work a normal job just like every other person. Finally, go by the store (after never receiving a phone call as I was originally told) and am told that I owe a balance of ~$250 for them to REPLACE my broken furniture after 18 months of back and forth. How could I owe almost the cost of a brand new piece of furniture for them to replace what they agreed to replace? Because that was including delivery and a protection plan added on without asking me if I wanted those options. A protection plan. Why would I pay for a protection plan that I already purchased and priced absolutely useless? The whole process has been a nightmare. Absolutely zero communication between Ashley headquarters and individual stores. Zero understanding between Ashley and Guardian protection. After all is said and done I paid ~$600 for a price of furniture that I could’ve just gone to the store and purchased for almost half of that without any headaches and wasted hours on the phone. Completely clueless. Do business with people you can trust and people you can get in contact with.

I’ll start the review with the positive side of things! We went in last minute on Christmas Eve and Sebastian was so helpful. We didn’t feel rushed at all! He was so nice and helpful. The day after Christmas I went in to complete my cash payment and met Tabitha. Everything went downhill from that moment on. She was trying to take over Sebastian’s sale by forcing me to buy delivery so she could redo everything and take the credit for the sale. At that point I decided to cancel my purchase because I was just aggravated at that point and she told me if my furniture was damaged during the drop shipping that I would be responsible for the cost to fix it. We were told if we changed our minds we could get our initial deposit back when we came back in. So after dealing with Tabitha I took the entire day to find other furniture she then tells be I will not be refunded for weeks and it would be in the form of a check. At this point I’ve wasted an entire day searching in panic mode. Since we weren’t refunded the $865 deposit I was forced to purchase furniture that I now have to put together and pray it’s not damaged. They ended up giving us a $200 credit towards the warranty since I had to purchase another warranty earlier in the day for the couch I purchased at Turners. By the time it was all over Tabitha began snatching pens and paper from me because I wanted a receipt that showed a zero balance since I paid in full. The receipt she tried to make us take showed a balance of $1800 after we just paid in full with cash. There was no way o was taking her word on anything after I had been mis informed. She made what was supposed to be an exciting fun time miserable, stressful and difficult. She is by far the worst and most greedy manager I have dealt with in my entire life. I will never shop there again as long as Tabitha is managing the store. We planned on purchasing mattresses for 4 beds but refuse as long as she has has any dealings with my furniture and money. I feel sorry for everyone who works under her and has to just take whatever she does bc there is no upper management backing these employees. Sebastian needs a raise and a management position!

The bed fell apart from poor construction by the delivery guys, they sent a replacement bed with missing parts, and now every time I call to see if the replacement parts will be sent to my home, the service department is saying they haven’t sent them yet. I have not been able to sleep comfortably for 3, almost 4 months awaiting this company to fulfill and honor their part of this transaction. I recommend everyone skip the good reviews they force people to write in the store, and find a company worthy of your hard earned money.

Shon, was exceptionally helpful in our search for furnishings. To say we appreciated Shon’s low pressure style of salesmanship (while simultaneously being attentive and exhibiting knowledge on the products we inquired upon) is by far an understatement. To summarize, we left with a large purchase and will be asking for Shon specifically upon our return.

About 6 to 7 weeks ago, my husband and my daughter went to ASHLEY to pick out some living room furniture. Shon was very helpful to them and wanted them to find something they really liked. A little while later, I went in with my daughter to see what they had decided on. I met Shon and she was very professional and wanted to help us find what we were looking for. Fast forward to October 15, my husband and I went in together to ASHLEY to make a purchase, but we were met by sales rep named Tabitha. At the time, I could not think of Shon's name so that I could tell Tabitha who I was looking for. So, I dug around in my purse and found Shon's business card; then I told Tabitha her name and her response was, she's not here anymore and she said something to the sort of "greener pastures/or the grass was greener. To me, that meant she found another job elsewhere. Anyway, we went on to make the purchase and also found a dining room table and hutch we liked, so we purchased that as well with Tabitha because we thought Shon was gone. Fast forward to Oct. 24th, my daughter went in to see if she could sign an invoice for my husband because he was at work. LOW AND BEHOLD, who do you think she saw when she walked in? YES, Shon! So when I got home, my husband and I along with our daughter went to ASHLEY to sign the invoice. When we arrived, Shon was there and I told her we made the purchase and then Tabitha walked up and I was LIVID to say the least. Tabitha had lied about Shon leaving ASHLEY just so she could make that sale. First off, I do not like to be lied to especially for financial gain. I feel like she took Shon's clients based on a lie she told me. I called Tabitha out on her lies and she continued to lie and say she did not tell me Shon was no longer with ASHLEY. Before we left, Tabitha asked if we wanted Shon's name to be placed on the sale to get the credit and our response was "YES." This is why my rating is a 2 but Shon gets a 10 rating for keeping her cool through this situation. Ask for Shon for all your ASHLEY needs.

Started off great- found something we loved and purchased it with delivery. Delivery was fine except they proceed to tell me that they didn’t have my lamps- they’re not allowed to deliver them and that I should have been told that at the time of purchase and should have been allowed to take them at that time. Then I found out there were no power cords for any of the 3 power recliners. They can’t tell me when they might can get them. So I have 3 recliners that are stuck in what I can only call a “travel” position. Turns out they had them hooked to battery packs on the floor. Knew they didn’t have the cords but didn’t say anything. At this point I’m returning the entire set. Delivery guy handed me two battery packs and made a big deal out of “don’t tell anyone I gave you these”… fact is I didn’t want battery packs and didn’t ask for them. Not at all happy- oh and just try and call the store directly. You can’t. ETA 10/22/24- I emailed as requested on 10/19/24- zero response, they still haven’t contacted me about picking up the return…nothing from Ashley furniture at all. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for furniture.

Purchased a whole living room set 2 months ago. I still have not received my couch. They continue to push the date back as it’s been on back order. Not once was I advised about this situation when I was purchasing. I would have picked a different set. When I’ve asked about compensation they only offer me $50 in house gift card. I will never be buying from Ashley again. I spent over $3000 to go over 60 days without a couch!

Ashley Furniture is a joke they are selling DAMAGED furniture to consumers at a premium price we bought a 1800 Section which was DAMAGED upon delivery we reported it immediately and they took their time to resolve the issue here it is December and their resolution is to repair it UNACCEPTABLE! We bought over 6,000 dollars in furniture and they do not want to replace it but repair we will NEVER purchase another peice of furniture from ASHLEY selling second hand furniture nothing but a high price Goodwill store. We are so unhappy with Ashley and if you decide to buy from Ashley think twice cause you might regret your puchase

Ashley furniture has the best customer service. I visited the store several times to make a decision on a sectional and each time I was greeted with a smile. My consultant Tiffany Selner was Amazing, every time I can back she knew exactly where I was headed. She would sit and talk with me like it was the very first time. She has gained two loyal clients who will be back for future purchases again soon💞 Updated review: the front-end sales may be great, but we have the worst experience and luck with delivery. No one followed up on the status or estimated arrival post-purchase, and the purple pillow initially purchased was magically lost in the store. I requested a refund for the lost pillow, but I will follow up to ensure the remainder of my order was not canceled. I wish communication were better on the back end post-purchases.

Chad and Tabitha are wonderful at their jobs, they are truly mattress gurus. My husband and I went in searching for a new mattress and came out with the Rolls Royce of mattresses. They were tremendously helpful and let us try multiple mattresses before making a decision. They are knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anyone. I even left with a new pillow, because a pillow is "a bed for your head." 10/10 would shop there again. I love Tabitha at our local Ashley store! She’s on point and easy to work with. Always makes sure we are satisfied and taken care of. 100% would recommend working with her designing your home.

When I entered the store I was met and greeted right away by an awesome sales rep and her name was/is Shon. What was impressive to me was she listened and understood my taste. While i made a small purchase today i will definitely be back for her to help me decorate my Lake House. She is very professional and awesome. I have been in Ashley Store before and have never had the service i received today... Also the store manager and assistant manager introduced themselves and was very helpful.
