04/12/24 4:00-4:30 Friday afternoon, 2 men and 1 woman worker. I was really excited to buy my family a new couch so I went inside and looked for a couch after choosing one of the couches then got everything settled then I went back to my car and went to side of the store to pick up my couch but they called me back in because they needed my signature so I went back in then overheard the workers ( the 2 men and 1 woman ) talking about my culture (being racist) and laughing really hard ( they didn’t see me because they were turned to the back) then heard the woman say to them, “ did you guys talk loud”. I was really mad but didn’t want to show it because I had my 6 year old son with me. So I just did what I did and left the store. I didn’t want the couch anymore after experiencing that. So I wish next time for those workers I don’t want them to do that to any culture/anyone. Thank you ! 😢

I had the privilege of B.J. Showing us around the store room. We walked in with an idea we had in mind for a sectional couch and B.J. knew exactly what we were talking about. She directed us to the first couch and right when we saw it we knew this was the one. It had the right depth, perfect length and color was on point! We did a stroll around just to see what else was available but we knew that was the one. B.J was great and knowledgeable, but the best part was her genuine personality that felt like family. Matt Pangelinan was an absolute blast to work with! My wife and I decided to go window shopping at Homeworld Pearlridge to get ideas for furniture as first-time home buyers. From the moment we walked in, Matt made us feel comfortable, nor we didn't feel any pressure to commit to buying anything at the time. Matt was able to help us find all the items we were looking for online and we decided to get an estimate for the furniture that caught our eye. At the end of the day, we didn't buy anything because we wanted to shop around and not regret purchasing anything on an impulse. Matt was super cool throughout the entire process and sent us a friendly text later that evening with a price breakdown for everything we were interested in. After looking at different furniture stores on the island, we realized that nothing quite compared to the various selections and pricing that we found at Homeworld and Ashley. However, we decided to still wait to make sure we were making the right choice. Fast forward a couple weeks later, I texted Matt the day before Thanksgiving that we decided to proceed with the purchase. With Black Friday quickly approaching, Matt recommended to come in sooner rather than later, as the store gets ridiculously busy and inventory tends to go low during the holidays. Thankfully, Matt was working at the Ashley Salt Lake location and was able to assist us just 30 mins prior to closing. We were able to do a quick walkthrough of all the furniture once more and settled on the purchase; Matt even noticed that the price on a bookshelf was lower than originally posted and made sure to apply the appropriate discount. Overall, my wife and I are very satisfied with our experience at Homeworld/Ashley and the customer service of Matt! We felt that we received a personalized experience rather than just another salesperson trying to sell us something. We're excited with our purchase and can't wait to have everything delivered to furnish our new home!

So easy to select from so much great furniture inventory. Jesse was my salesperson who greeted me and helped me purchase a sofa, tv stand, dining room set, and a queen-sized bed. Home delivery was arranged and it was just that easy. The holiday season is here and Ashley are giving customers free Hawaiian ornaments, fabulous! Great shopping experience and Jesse is the professional to see.

I awaited for quite awhile due to having only two salespeople on the floor. After deciding what I wanted, I located salesperson at the register. There was no sales pitch at all. Straight to the cash register and sales rung up. I had to ask how the installation was done and amount of boxes are involved. Super friendly staff with a huge showroom. Entirely separate bed section with a ton of choices and markdowns. Shipping is much quicker than the NEX and they have way more options for living room sets, bedroom sets, dining tables, and outdoor patio furniture. I still have my section sofa from 15 years ago, love this place.

This Ashley Furniture is located directly across of target in salt lake. Not wanting to return to the location in Aiea near pearlridge because of a pushy sales person, we decided to try this one. My first visit was about a month ago: As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted by Sean who asked us if we were looking for anything in particular. I mentioned that we were looking for a sectional sofa. We browsed a little wanting to see options but weren't serious about purchasing yet as our home completion date kept getting delayed. I did have my heart set on a particular sectional which I wanted to come back for later. Prior to leaving I asked for Sean's business card. Fast forward to couple of days ago I had emailed Sean about some questions I had and his work schedule so we can come in and actually buy what I had originally wanted. Today 5/8:Again we were immediately greeted by Sean where I mentioned I was the one who sent him an email. I thought we were going to purchase that perfect sectional but my kids had changed their minds and decided it wasn't comfortable enough for them. Asked Sean if he could show me sectionals they had in either a white or cream color. There were actually quite a few on the floor that he said they have or will be able to order in the color that I wanted! So if you see something you want but don't see it in the color, you should definitely ask. After a lot of going back and forth and Sean finding out the measurements for me, the kids and I finally agreed on one (because the husband could care less)! He was so patient the entire time, I never felt rushed, he didn't get upset when I kept changing my mind or asked about prices. Just a warning, they don't have a whole lot of selection like their Aiea store. If you're unhappy with customer service at any of the other locations, take a photo of the tag of what you want, then come to this location and ask for Sean.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Save yourself the trouble and don't waste your money and time. Absolutely horrible customer service. It's 2 months past the date of delivery and still without our furniture and unable to accommodate requests in a reasonable time. Delivery is scheduled a month out and our second piece of furniture came in before the delivery scheduled date and theyrefused to add our other furniture to that delivery. 7 months pregnant sleeping on the floor when our furniture was supposed to be delivered 2 months ago. Worst experience with a lot of time and money wasted

I am just so sick of this place. Seems like every piece I get from them is a low-budget counterfeit version of a legitimate piece of furniture. $3000 Lazyboy couch had unsealed compartments within the body that will host colonies of bugs. Near impossible to eradicate and seal off. Worst piece of furniture I ever bought. Will never buy Lazyboy again.Two other pieces I purchased assembled and delivered, but assembly was sloppy and I had to rebuild both of them. Just last week I bought an end table and given their past I decided to pick it up at the warehouse and assemble it myself. Simple stuff - just 8 bolts , four long and four short. Problem is the long bolts are too long for their intended application - See picture. Had to waste more time driving to a hardware store to spend more money buying proper hardware. Ashley Furniture owes me $8.They really shaft you here. Either they overcharge you for delivery and poor assembly, or you can pick up a piece of garbage from the warehouse that can't be assembled properly. Reading the reviews it seems poor quality and assembly is a consistent problem with their business model. Don't waste your time with this place. Buy online from Amazon or buy something off craigslist before you throw your money away here.

The most unorganized store I have ever dealt with. We moved to the island and ordered our bedroom suite in January of 2021. We received it 4 months later due to Covid which I understood. The entire bed frame and drawers that went under the bed broke in 2 days so they took away the broken frame and said it would be 2-3 months until a new one could be installed at our home. I was patient and waited. It is June 2022 and I have YET to receive the drawers that go with the new and unbroken bed. When I called to follow up they said it was never ordered again and it would cost me $800 extra because the drawers were never ordered after the original ones broke. Makes no sense how they could charge me for something I originally ordered and received the first time. Will never buy from Ashleys again.

She didn’t even try to push me to buy more or even tried so show me another option..maybe I did that to myself lol possibly because she made it sound so good. Spoke with Kirsty of course things went smoothly and quick over the phone. Very frustrating experience. We spent about an hour deciding on which outdoor set to get. We compromised and bought the more expensive set because it had a rocker I wanted. Our salesman listened to our entire conversation and knew exactly what we wanted. We were told it was special order, so we waited over 3 months to get it in Hawaii. It was delivered today and we were given an end table instead of the rocker I wanted. Partly my fault because I signed the receipt when I paid, but it is pretty tough to figure out what you buy with their codes, and I just trusted our salesman. They did give me the option to do an exchange and pay the difference (which is why I gave them 2 stars), but not interested in the hassle so we will keep what we have and move on.

She is super friendly and helpful, very thorough in explaining the product and any ongoing sales, and she will always do her best to accommodate your needs. Home furnishing saga continues.. This store is actually located across from Target Salt Lake parking lot. They have their own parking lot and it's rarely packed. We were greeted and assisted while exploring around. Although we did not purchase anything, it's great to have furniture options physically on island. These furniture pieces were pricey but the quality is definitely there. I just wished that they had some in the color I was looking for..

Also, my furniture was picked up same day, and Christian did a great job getting the chairs wrapped up and ready on the loading dock. Looking forward to coming in again!

Our salesperson was Sean Sasaki and very helpful. He has a great sense of humor too. I found a sofa, a huge swivel chair and a dining room table and chairs! I have shopped Ashley furniture for years and have always been happy with my purchases!

Since I knew what I wanted already I wasn’t a very hard sell, but on the other hand neither was the sales person. Store was crowded, so all of the employees were busy. My transaction which usually takes about 20 minutes was rushed down to 10 minutes.

Kirsty has helped us a couple of times now and she is a pleasure to work with. She is not pushy in her approach, very helpful and thorough with our decision process and ultimately our purchases. She is an asset to this location! Will definitely return to her again.

My sister went to this location on Friday July 24 around 1pm. A male started to help her but the minute another group of people (white people) popped up he stopped helping her (she has tattoos and she's Hawaiian) she waited for his service but was completely ignored as if he thought she wasn't going to buy anything because her looks. I the furniture but the people they have in this store discriminates. She walked out and went to a different Ashley furniture and was helped there. Not cool! His name is Travis

The customer service really needs improvement. Young man was deeply involved in his ipad activities then as we walk back he was on his smart phone. luckily we ran into Kristy Stoddard and she helped us with what we wanted to purchase. If not for her we would have went elsewhere.

My husband and I are really disappointed with the Ashley Furniture store at this location. Back in November (2019) we purchased a rocking chair for our newborn&'s nursery. Like most furniture stores the sales reps somewhat follow you around the store and ask if you need help - and try their best to get you to buy something. Which is fine - I understand that&'s their job. We ended up purchasing this particular chair, and were told by our rep that they didn&'t have it in stock however, it could be shipped to O&'ahu by the beginning of January. Since our newborn wasn&'t due until February we didn&'t mind waiting. January came around and we rec&'d no follow up call, or status on the order. My husband called Ashley Furniture store in the middle of January and was told that our chair wouldn&'t be arriving on the date originally given to us - per the rep it would be a week late. This was already frustrating because we had planned our nursery set up to coincide with the same time the chair would be arriving so that we would have everything together by the time our newborn arrived. A week or so passed - and still no phone call from this Ashley location. When my husband called to follow up AGAIN - he was told that our chair would not be arriving until February & that the original sales rep that had helped us in store, no longer worked for this company hence why we weren&'t notified that our item wouldn&'t be arriving on time. Obviously - someone dropped the ball. Customers come to Ashley Furniture store, get followed around, and almost pushed into purchasing a product. Mind you - the items at this store are NOT cheap so I expect decent customer service if I&'m spending my money on something so expensive. We did not get decent customer service here. We waited months with no phones calls, no follow ups, no notifications given to us - just to have someone tell us that they didn&'t have it. What makes this even more frustrating is that their &"excuse&" as to why no one followed up with us is because the original sales person left. Is that what happens when people leave? The reps push people into buying an item, they get the sale, customers pay money, and you just forget about them? You don&'t care if paying customers ever receive their product? How come there was no procedure in place to have another sales rep follow up? This experience was extremely disappointing - my husband and I just opted to receive a refund instead and purchase another item somewhere else. Probably won&'t be coming back.

Kirsty listened to my needs, showed me several options, and guided me to make the decisions so that I achieve the look that I am looking for. Mercy was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the products we were looking for. Prices seem to be okay.

The show room was nice, but the items seemed overpriced and the salesperson followed us around the entire time.

We did a bit of window shopping here after moving in. Had a few small side pieces of furniture to get still... a couple night stands specifically. They have a huge assortment from various classes of furniture. From wall painting and decorative pillows, to lazy boy sofas. The variety is definitely there for any budget. The sales folks are very helpful. They do virtually &"tag&" you as you come in so your salesperson is yours until you leave the store, if that makes sense. :) We ended up getting our bed, sofa, and several side tables from them. Decent prices and huge selection!

First off I was greeted by the stores manger who was very nice and opening. Next I was greeted by the sales associate who was very friendly and helpful. She let we walk around and see stuff without being pushy like some places. Great experience. Will definitely be back

Ashley Home Furniture in Salt LakeWent in at 3:00 or 4:00pm on 08/24/19. No one greeted us, or even acknowledged us. All the sales people were sitting on the couches on their phones. We noticed a white family come in and right away the sales people were like &"hello, can we help you?&" Is it because we&'re not white? We walked around the store passing several sales people,looking at furniture, and still no acknowledgements. from anyone. Only looking up from their phones but not saying anything. The only person in that store that gave us some kind of help was the finance person. She could only help us with financing, not selecting anything from the floor. Don&'t they receive some kind of commission from the sales? I want to make sure nobody gets the commission from my purchase. Everyone walking around, no &"may i help you?&" the only thing they said to us was &"bye&" really? This is the most crappy customer service ever. Do they realize we live on an island, where everyone knows everyone? Shame on everyone at this location, so pilau style.

Experience was easy and pleasant. No pressure sales person, Lou Ann, was great. She even did research for us as we looked around the store. We found what we wanted and scored the 4th of July discount special as well!

Very impressed with this furniture showroom they have everything from beds and Frames on up two couches loveseats nightstands and tables mirrors Euros dressers you name it the only thing I dislike about locations like this is that you select the furniture you like pay for it and usually wait about two weeks for it to deliver kind of a bummer but not a deal-breaker parking is ample the staff is extremely knowledgeable helpful and friendly no high pressure sales pitches so I will be returning again and again as my needs seem to change often and I know that I will find the help I'm looking for at the Ashley home furniture store

Great service

If you go, ask for Mercy. She was wonderful and patient. We had specific requirements and she helped us find multiple options to meet our demands. She went above and beyond. There was one sectional couch set that was back ordered with a wait list. She called people that hadn't put a down payment on it to see if they still wanted it. Someone was flexible and we were going to choose that set, but as we were waiting for that, we found a full room set that we really liked. I felt so bad for changing my mind, but she was totally helpful and understood the change. Highly recommend her and this store!

Furniture here is gorgeous , make sure if you special order items you know that you only get 1/2 back of the amount you paid for the item if you choose to return it. Worked with Alex who was extremely pleasant in helping me understand and resolve my problem. Will continue to shop here . Love the furniture .

Love this store! Almost all of my furniture is from here and most of it was sold to me by. *Homney* I'm sorry I have no idea how to spell his name. But he is by far my favorite person to work with there. Such a sweet man and always helps me find exactly what I'm looking for. He also never pushes furniture on you trying to make a sale. All items are always delivered on time with no issues. The store itself is set up very nice, and they have the best cookies :) the only furniture store I will shop at on island!

We received excellent customer service from eight when we stepped into the store and greeted by Derek till we completed our purchase. Everyone was great and checked on us to make sure we were okay. I'm definitely going back.

Came into the store looking to buy a few rooms worth of furniture and I'm looking to buy the matching chair to my Ashley set I have at home, and in the at least 20 mins that we were in the store, not a single person asked if we needed help/assistance/see If we had already been helped. Even the employee who heard us complain that no one asked us if we needed anything. We came in fully ready to spend money for our new home, and not a single person offered us assistance. They offered others, but not us.
