Irene was very helpful and we found a couch and picked one out within less than a half an hour with our help. There’s a marvelous experience. Everything was on sale now I just gotta wait to see how the delivery goes. Other than that. It was a very great experience. I have bought several couches from this not this particular store, but Ashly Furniture and they’ve all been wonderful. They hold up their warranties perfectly not asking can I say this is the best place to buy furniture. I can’t add a picture and show you the couch we picked out, but I can let you know it’s blue. It comes of pillows and it’s pretty.

Ashley always seems to have trendy and quality furniture in my opinion and findings. However, I cannot stand commissioned salespeople. Customer satisfaction would sky rocket if everyone was paid a salary and didn’t have to fight for their paychecks.

It was a wonderful experience. My grandchildren wanted to buy me a recliner for Christmas. We looked at several stores & then we came to Ashley & found just the right sofa & recliner in one. Thank you for your help. I am a very lucky Nana.

I was able to order a king bed online with my sales rep after trying out different beds in the store. I wasn’t ready to purchase at the time I was physically in the store but later Eric gave me lots of good information in helping me choose the best mattress for my needs. He was patient and helpful in getting all the paperwork done. Great experience!

Had a great experience.Bought a great mattress our sales lady was very helpful, very polite and very patient with us.Good job to her and then the mattress came two weeks late, and they totally brought me the wrong mattress.They brought me a piece of foam, not even a mattress.It was like a scam, told them they gave me the wrong mattress.Now still waiting for my new mattress.I had to pay more money and wait three more weeks.Do not ever buy any bed from ashley furniture?Are you await a month or 24 your bed?They don't care about you.You might as well go to a bedding store that gets you your mattress in a couple days.Scam

They gave me a number to call, but they haven't resolved the issue. My king-size mattress is so tight it's getting damaged! The salesman I worked with was Diego. He was friendly and helpful but never pushy. I took my husband back to try out the furniture I was most interested in. Diego introduced himself but did not hover. My husband was dreading the trip before we went, but was very happy after the fact. We found what we wanted/needed and it was on sale! And the process was very painless.

We’ve purchased furniture from the Naperville location in the past and no issues. The Joliet location is another story. Do not buy from this location! The “manager” who works evenings is not interested in your experience as a customer at all. Follow-up from the store is nonexistent unless you try to cancel your order after receiving poorly built furniture and being forced into putting in an exchange order when all you want is a refund. Not a good way to try to keep me as a customer. Sad situation at the Joliet location as they just do not care. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION!

Buyer beware! We purchased a mattress from Ashley Home Store on 10/24, and our experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. Although the store was busy, we were repeatedly left waiting with little assistance—even while actively trying to make a purchase. One sales associate tried her best to be as helpful as possible but at that point we were already uncertain if we were making a good decision. Despite this and the fact pricing is wrong throughout the entire store and they don’t tell you this until checkout, we went through with the purchase. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t end there. The store manager was noticeably rude and dismissive toward both staff and customers. Our mattress was delivered on 11/4, and it arrived defective. One side is collapsed and one entire corner appears to be held together with glue, not letting the mattress fully expand. This seems like a clear manufacturing defect—or possibly even a refurbished mattress passed off as new. Since then, we’ve spent nearly two weeks trying to get this resolved. We’ve called numerous times, filled out claim forms, spoken with multiple agents, and even reached out directly to the store. Not a single call has been returned and the “emails” that have been sent are non-existent, and no they aren’t in a spam folder. We were told we had a 30-day window for replacement, yet it feels like the store is doing everything possible to avoid honoring it. We started this process on 11/5, the day after we received the mattress. At this point, we’re left with a nearly $2,000 defective mattress and no support. This has been an extremely unfortunate and frustrating experience, and I strongly recommend staying far, far away from this location and ordering from this furniture store. Hoping we can actually receive a replacement at this point or even a call returned to us to resolve this issue.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This location is unprofessional. I had gone into this location to place an order, already knowing what I wanted. When I arrived, I had to wait about 20 min for my Salesman to greet me, then another 2.5 hours as they were having an IT issue. We finally got the furniture ordered and delivery date was set. When the team showed up for delivery, they had the wrong items. I had to reject the delivery and work with the CS team to make sure the correct items were reordered. I was told that my order would then be delivered on Tuesday, 11/4. Leading up to this day, I had not heard from Ashley and reached out multiple times. I finally got through to the CS team via phone and was told that my delivery was canceled and the earliest it could be delivered was Thursday 11/6. No one had given me proper communication nor was I made aware of this beforehand. I had to change my entire schedule, and luckily, I am available that day to make it work. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in Ashley Furniture. The only reason I purchased through this company in the first place was to avoid this exact situation from happening.

She paid attention to my concerns, and then responded to each one Her knowledge exceeded my expectations and the future, if I find that I am in need of furniture. I will certainly reach out to her. The store had so many different styles to choose from delivery was available and I didn’t have to wait six weeks. It was like within a couple days so I was really excited about that as well. .

I need to order a recliner for my husband who is experiencing medical issues. I researched them then called to order. I was unable to get the payment to go thru on my phone. My credit card company said it was a store issue. I called the store and was told I must come in to store to purchase. I am unable to leave my husband alone and we have no family close by so I am unable to purchase the chair he needs. VERY FRUSTRATED!

We went to the store talked to a sales person to get a quote on some items. The email us a quote for the wrong items and then when I try to respond to the email, letting him know, we did get a quote for the wrong items. they said that the email is not monitored and no one will get back to us does not seem like they got their act together.

The most stress-free furniture shopping I’ve experienced.

Price to hi on everything in the store and one person was the salesman for 2 to 3 costumer i was in the store for 4 hours to buy 3 pieces dining set. More salesman, lower the price, otherwise will be the last time. I will be there and I'm not recommending Ashley furniture. To any family up front for a service, higher prices. It's very bad, especially these days, autonomy is very messed up. Thank you.

We walked in to try a tempurpedic bed, we were approached by very knowledgable specialists, Erica and Neil. They took their time and allowed us to experience all they had to offer. No pressure felt at all. Walked out with 100% satisfaction.

Worst store I have ever been to, all the time my family and I buy from them, this time I went 2 days ago to this location I was on the phone with my husband looking around, I was there for an hour, I didn't ask for help at first, I didn't need it either, I have a month to close on my new house, I used the bathroom too, then I continued looking, the manager came to me in a rude, impolite and racist way to tell me that I spend too much time in the store and used the bathroom, I should go, I argued with them this has never happened to me before I have been here for 20 years I am from Iraq I am an IT professional, this garbage should never be in this position him and the other manager or the other employees, my husband called the company and we are waiting, I will also email the main company and my attorney will contact to them , they should to fire him.

I really appreciated that they weren’t pushy at all and took the time to answer my questions. The prices were convenient and fair, and the whole process felt smooth and professional. The staff were helpful and worked well with me to match a competitor price. They exceeded my expectations by scheduling delivery of my new bed frame and mattress for the next day.

We were approached by a salesperson when we arrived but then left alone to shop. When we were ready to ask questions it was easy to find someone. Eric was incredibly patient with our many questions and made it easy to make a final purchase.

I bought a couch approximately 2 1/2 years ago from Ashley. The power reclining function stopped working on one side of the couch and I called the Warranty department for help. After the lady walked me through some questions I was told that there’s nothing that they can do and that the part is discontinued. The lady insisted that they cannot make any repairs or assist me as the part is not manufactured anymore. I asked her multiple times if there was any other option to fix my couch since I do not want to purchase a new one due to mine only being a couple years old. I was told again that there’s nothing they can do. After I called Ashley, I called Premier Furniture Servises. Within 10 minutes I had a solution. I was able to order the part on Amazon, which is readily available, and have gentleman coming to my house this Friday to fix my sofa. It’s a shame that the customer service is this way because the couch and other furniture we purchased are actually nice. Please know what you’re getting yourself into if you buy a reclining sulfur from Ashley.

Beware of Ashley Furniture’s Misleading Extended Warranty – A Nightmare Experience Review: Last year, we purchased furniture from the Ashley Furniture store in Algonquin, IL. During the purchase, the salesperson strongly pushed the extended warranty, assuring us it would cover accidental damage, including something as simple as water stains from glasses. Trusting their recommendation, we decided to purchase the warranty for $900, believing it would provide peace of mind. Fast forward to this year: a small amount of water spilled onto our dresser. We immediately wiped it up and were relieved knowing we had the warranty to cover exactly this type of incident. Unfortunately, this is where the nightmare began. The extended warranty provider listed on Ashley’s website wasn’t the one we were actually covered by. This led to over a month of delays, countless hours on hold, and ultimately being told by the first company that we didn’t even have a policy with them. When we finally reached back out to Ashley, they said, “Oh, you’re covered by a different provider.” We contacted the correct provider and spent another month submitting images, descriptions, and paperwork — only to have our claim denied because water damage is not covered, completely contradicting what the salesperson had told us at the time of purchase. When I called Ashley’s to escalate, they outright refused to take responsibility for their salesperson’s misrepresentation. Instead, they blamed the third-party insurance company and claimed that once a year has passed from the date of sale, they are no longer responsible for anything. I explained that our initial claim was filed well within the year, but they said there was “no way to verify” this and ended the call with a dismissive, “Have a nice day.” This experience has been nothing short of horrible customer service. Ashley Furniture sold us a product under false pretenses, and when we tried to use it, they abandoned us completely. Ashley Furniture has lost a customer for life, and I hope this review warns others: The extended warranty is not as comprehensive as salespeople claim. If a salesperson misleads you, Ashley will not stand behind their word. Be prepared to spend hours dealing with third-party companies and get zero accountability from Ashley. Save yourself the headache — shop elsewhere or, at the very least, do not purchase their extended warranty. Update: After posting my original review, I saw a response from the Ashley Furniture owner apologizing and providing a phone number, stating they wanted to “learn from this” and “make it right.” At first, I was hopeful. Unfortunately, this now feels like more of an arbitrary gesture than a genuine attempt to resolve the problem. I called the number provided and spoke with a representative who was polite and apologetic. During our 45-minute conversation, they even admitted that this type of damage should have been covered by the warranty. That admission confirmed what I’ve believed all along — the core issue is a lack of alignment between Ashley, their third-party warranty partner, and their sales team. How can Ashley partner with a company to support their products without fully understanding what will and will not be covered? And why aren’t their salespeople properly trained to clearly and accurately explain this to customers at the time of purchase? In my industry, we constantly audit our partnerships to ensure we’re delivering the best possible service to our customers. Ashley clearly doesn’t hold their partners to the same standard. The representative even attempted to place us on a three-way call with the warranty company to mediate the issue. For a brief moment, I thought we might finally be on the path to resolution. Instead, as soon as the warranty company joined the line, the Ashley representative dropped off the call completely. Whether intentional or not, it felt like a way to avoid direct accountability, leaving me to navigate the situation alone — yet again.

I purchased a table and 8 chairs from Ashley Furniture 6/8/25. The first delivery of the table\chairs on 6/24/25 had 5 chairs that had dents & chips and the table had a scratch. I told the delivery drivers and they said there is nothing they could do and that I had to call. I called immediately after they left and was told they would order backs of the chairs to replace and exchange the table. The 2nd kitchen table was delivered 6/27 and was damaged with a gash. I tried to tell the delivery driver and was told I had to call. I called immediately after they left and was told they would setup another exchange. The 3rd kitchen table was delivered 7/3 and was also damaged with the end lifting and scratches all over the top. I tried to call immediately, but the guy who answered told me I had to call a phone number that would not allow me to file a claim because my phone # was not recognized. I called back and another guy told me he needed a serial# that did not exist. I called back again and was given a chatbot where I was able to file a claim, but had to wait 72 hours for a response. Once I heard back, I was told they would exchange for a 4th time 7/30. When the delivery drivers came with the 4th table, they were not able to remove because the screws were stripped and they did not have the tools. I had to call and reschedule. The 5th attempted 8/7 I was promised the driver would have the tools, they did not. The table also had a gash in it. I have now taken 5 days off of work and Ashley is telling me I need to schedule for a 6th attempt to exchange the table and a 7th day to fix the 5 chairs. I have been working with an escalation analyst and asked for my money back and was told no since I accepted the tables even though I had no choice because the drivers told me they could not do anything. I can not take any more time off of work. I have lost a week of PTO. I no longer want to deal with this and want my money back. I’ve opened a case with the BBB where they keep copying and pasting their response over and over that and escalation specialist is working with me. I’ve requested a call back from upper leadership several times and nothing. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. I’m being told that all sales are final and my request for a refund is denied. I think it’s completely unfair to ask a customer to take 7 days or more off of work for them to get an order satisfactory. I will never buy from here again and have told all my friends and family about this experience. Pics are attached.

Although the end experience was the outcome we were ok with. You must watch the sales people. She sent us an email with the items we wanted and had the price we discussed. We went back to the store to take measurements the sales person tried charging us almost double! She changed that only when I showed her the email that she had sent to us then tried to make a story up that she sent us the wrong information. Bottom line. The email had everything we wanted and it had the price on there along with the delivery charge, but it did not have the taxes. She tried to charge us almost double on the delivery charge saying that we ordered more furniture than we originally discussed which was untrue. I don’t think I’ll go back We did end up getting what we wanted and what was promised, but the bottom line is we shouldn’t have had to do that we will how the delivery is.

I knew exactly what I wanted, I wasn’t swarmed as soon as I walked in the door which is a total turn off to me. I was given space to look at a few options and there was a sales person nearby when I had questions and wanted to move forward. I’m not sure why all furniture stores don’t employ this method, people generally don’t want to be hounded by a sales person when they walk in the door, they know what they’re looking for and want space to look over some options until they have questions or want to move forward on a choice, we all can tell who the sales people are and we can ask them for assistance when we need it. A well done for this store, good management technique.

Their service is really bad! They have cancelled my delivery twice. The salesman stop picking up stopped calls . Customer service did not clear about the delivery process and then when I called again. on the second scheduled delivery day, the customer service representative says that the date was not confirmed. We have received no text , no information about these issues. Very poor service. We bought those furnitures for specific occasions and they cancellation have ruined it.

I purchased a $5,000 six-piece sectional from Ashley Homestore, and the experience was deeply disappointing. While the sales process was average, taking about 90 minutes with minor hiccups, the delivery and customer service were a nightmare. The sectional arrived weeks later, with 4 of the 6 pieces damaged—indented cushions, dirty feet, a broken base with exposed wood, holes in the backing, and oil stains on some sections. It looked used, possibly a floor model. The delivery crew, one of whom spoke limited English, promised to file a claim and took photos, assuring me replacements would be sent. I was asked to sign an electronic tablet in Spanish, which I couldn’t read, but was told it was just an acknowledgment. Hours later, an automated message from “AI Jenny” asked about my experience, raising doubts about whether the claim was filed. I called customer service, who had no record of the issue and asked me to send photos. After no response for days, I followed up with their Escalations Specialist, who was polite but hadn’t opened my email due to it being a zip file. I had to resend each photo individually, then wait weeks for a new delivery date. The replacement pieces finally arrived and looked new, making me question the original delivery’s condition. However, the crew asked to use my bathroom, which felt odd. I emailed the Escalations Specialist to request a refund of the delivery fee due to the hassle and time off work. After a week of silence, followed by an out-of-office reply and an unanswered voicemail, I was offered only half off the delivery fee, with a vague promise of a refund in “a few weeks.” The lack of communication, poor initial product condition, and inadequate resolution left me frustrated. I expected better for a $5,000 purchase. I cannot recommend Ashley Homestore based on this experience.

We have two sales people working with us and it was very uncomfortable as one of the salespersons kept following us around the store. I don't like being followed and that is really uncomfortable. Took a very long time to get checked out which I thought was ridiculous.. I wanted this particular bed frame but overall felt that the cost was way overpriced.

Michael was our sales rep and he was very thoughtful and helpful. He asked what we were looking and showed us exactly what we needed. I just had my 2nd knee replacement 4 days ago and he made sure that we were comfortable walking around the store. He explained the pros and cons of each set we looked at and ultimately bought. Ohh boy. What a horrendous horrible experience this was. So we went to get a sofa set. After finalizing we weren’t sure about the measurements so we planned to come back next day. But the manager Niel kept on persuading the deal for a specific dollar amount. While we told him we’ll back next day. He still kept on being a smartass telling I have been in industry for long knowing you won’t come. Next day we showed up haha. And he wasn’t there neither the other staff available was aware of the price Niel was quoting us. We really liked the sofa so disappointingly we headed back and came again straight third day. Finally we meet Niel ( The smartass Manager) who quoted us a certain price and now he completely flipped on the price and started talking unprofessionally and accusing us while we were just back for the price he himself offered on day 1. Poor customer satisfaction skills, poor people skills and even pathetic service. I loved the sofa so I ended up going to the Schamburg location and buying the sofa for even cheaper price than what Neil kept on quoting and after lying about pricing. I felt the staff at Schamburg location was more welcoming and willing to learn about our requirements.

Absolutely fantastic experience, not at all what you would expect from a furniture store. From the moment we walked in, the associates gave us space and it was a very pleasant experience. Eventually my partner and I found a set we absolutely loved and an associate named Mike came to assist. He was kind, helpful, and not at all pushy. We thought that there was no way we could afford such a nice set of furniture so we had zero expectations of taking it home but Mike really wanted to help us out. He got Neil, the sales manager involved and we explained our situation and limits. Neil was also friendly, professional, and we could tell he genuinely wanted to help us take home the bedroom set of our dreams and he and Mike did just that. This location has great furniture, we shopped multiple stores and most others were high price low quality junk however here the pieces felt durable while also looking beautiful. The store is very nice. No high pressure selling. I was able to wander around and look at stuff and try things out without someone hovering over me. When I needed help I was able to get all my questions answered and shown some other options even less expensive. Diego was more than helpful and very friendly. He went above and beyond for me. Our recent purchase of a large sectional at Ashley Furniture in Algonquin was initially a positive experience thanks to Maria. She was fantastic—no pressure, answered all our questions, and made our splurge worthwhile. However, the delivery process was a HUGE disappointment. One of the delivery team members was unprofessional and rude, even threatening to return the $7K sectional to the store when I asked for a minor adjustment moving the couch. We were the first delivery of the day, and their behavior left me concerned for other customers that day. The other team member was courteous and apologized for his colleague's behavior and they also left a mess of plastic bags and cardboard on my lawn after abruptly departing. Despite loving our purchase, the poor delivery experience has me hesitant to return for additional furniture. I may wait or consider shopping elsewhere next time. I initially planned to give a 5-star rating, but due to the poor delivery experience, I lowered it to 4 stars.

Poor customer service. Promises made regarding delivery are not kept. This has happened multiple times. In one instance, they cancelled my order, and NEVER TOLD ME THE ORDER WAS CANCELLED. Who does this? In addition, the salesperson lied to us about the country of origin for a bookcase. The salesperson said, "Made in Wisconsin." The bookcase actually came from Vietnam. I read the shipping label. I will not buy from people I do not trust. Stay away.

I wanted to look at the color of the dining set next to the end tables I wanted. He carried a chair from the dining set completely across the store so I could see them together. He was great and in my opinion went over and above what he needed to do.

I had a great experience on the actual store. I didn’t feel any pressure when it came to choosing my furniture and I wasn’t pressured into making and decisions. They did an amazing job with the prices and made the whole process really smooth. However, when the furniture was delivered 2 pieces out of my set were broken. They did not make sure everything worked correctly before delivering it. I then had to call and ask for new furniture to be sent out since my lives were broken. They never keyed in my order and never followed up with me. Very disappointing because the first half of the process was so good.

I have ordered from Ashley Furniture in Algonquin on 3 separate occasions. My first order had a couch and two kids beds and the couch was damaged when it was delivered. The couch was eventually fixed. The second order of swivel chairs was perfect. Now my most recent order was for a bed (headboard, footboard, side rails), two night stands, a desk and bookcase. The headboard was damaged and needed to be replaced and one of the nightstands was stained either a darker color or a different all together but that had to be switched. The desk and bookcase were scheduled to be delivered on February 5th and I was just alerted by the AI chat bot they have that my order will be split but neither would be delivered on the scheduled day. The customer service is a pain to work around to talk to a real person. The manager at the store was able to work with me but moving forward, I will not be purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture again.

What an amazing experience. My wife and I were shopping to replace our couch. While browsing we were greeted by one of the store managers Neal. We shared with him what our dream couch was. We also shared what we didn’t like about our current couch. Neal was unbelievably helpful and showed us some options that checked our boxes. He also let us know what to steer away from. He was very honest and upfront. There were no instances that we felt pressured to buy. He explained all of our options regarding financing and outright purchasing. Neal was a pleasure to work with. We had our new furniture delivered today and the delivery men smelled gas and told us to get it checked. My husband and I couldn’t smell the gas leak. We called ComEd and they did find a leak of gas in our water heater. So very thankful to these guys for saying and insisting we get it checked! Delivery was fast and smooth. Love our new living room set!

He provides an excellent service. We are his customers at Ashley since 2015 and have been returning to him whenever we are looking for new furnitures. The furniture we bought with his advice and guidance is still in good condition and we are very satisfied with the quality and durability.

My and my fiances mattress from Ashley is only 4 years old, at forst is was great, now its so beyond uncomfortable. We both wake up everyday in excruciating pain from sleeping on a mattress that feels like just springs. Ashley has sent out a technician twice to inspect it for a replacement and both times have said nothing is wrong and closed our case. Absolutely terrible customer service and will do anything to not replace a mattress that is still under warranty. I highly suggest not buying from this store.

My initial review was a higher review. I am now sad to say that I have to adjust it and strongly recommend that you not shop here. My initial experience was very good in the store, but it soured very quickly. I was double billed for my purchase due to the sales man’s tablet crashing. I was assured by the store manager that this was not an issue and that if it did not resolve by the next day he would refund the 2 nd payment. It did not resolve and he did not issue the refund. I contacted their corporate line and getting a hold of a human was difficult. In the end all they could do was offer to issue me SOME of my money in a refund. In the end I had to file a dispute with my bank and now my money will not be returned for 30-45 days. We are not talking a few dollars here; we are talking over $500. This is my rent money! There is no reasonable reason this should have happened or that I should have to put up with this. EDIT: As a response to the companies offer of further assistance. Both of those phone numbers are useless and it is difficult to get in touch with a human being to resolve issues. Considering the difficulty this is causing me and the companies inability to resolve this in a reasonable fashion, I find the response very disingenuous.

Mr. Ed ,was amazing from the minute we walked in the door. Answered all my questions very insightful on products. Worked with us on pricing of products, Ed was so very sweet and funny. I didn’t want to leave the store we ended up purchasing a new kitchenette set and couldn’t be happier. We will definitely be back to purchase a new living room set. I truly look forward to working with Mr. Ed again.

I can only talk about my own experience. In no way am I saying Ashley furniture is a bad place or company. In my own personal shopping experience, I was greeted by a very nice sales person, she explained they are having a veterans sale, “dont worry about the price tag, there is a discount at the end, plus we will delivery and set it up for free”. With that intonation I decided to look around and write down the SKU numbers, she then told me online prices will be honored as well, so I did a mix of online and in store, get to the end to order my 8,500 order expecting for them to calculate and give what ever “discount” they were speaking of. This gentleman came over after I calculated all my items based on the ticket price, and said “yep that looks good, also buy this 1,200 protection plan” I declined the extra 1,200 and was told o “we will have to add on the delivery charge of 700.00, but if you buy the protection I’ll waive that. Sir you want me to spend 1,200 instead of 700? After you told me I would get the free delivery in the first place. I left the store, and I got a ton of text messages from the regional manager, asking me to come back to purchase these items and he would waive the 700.00. Well you already agreed to waive it in the first place. I did some online research and the same items I was going to purchase was 1,545.00 less than what was being offered to me in the first place. I give 1 star rating because the sales lady was really friendly.

Rozy was great from start to finish. I just wanted 2 (cheapish) recliners and when I sat in one double the price I had imagined paying I fell in love with the chair. Update: STILL NO MATTRESS AND THE YEAR IS ALMOST OVER. Couch is already falling apart/extremely poor quality. Haven’t heard from anyone. A waste of 8k, would never recommend. After reading the reviews, how many store managers do you guys have? I made a large purchase to furnish my new place, over a month in advance. Was guaranteed delivery for EVERYTHING on requested and reserved date(twice by two different sales reps, once day of purchase the 2nd time when I called a week after purchasing to confirm dimensions on an item. Had I not been wise to double check the delivery services invoice of what they had to deliver I would have no mattress! I called the store a number of times the sales reps unable to help and store manager is avoidant. I began to call corporate which is difficult and useless as they don’t have information on specific stores and can only assist with orders? What?! I then called the store back and finally after expressing my concern for my fast approaching move and delivery date for part of my order the manager finally calls me back. He proceeds to ask what is going on, I explained how no one mentioned my order would be delayed and specific item is back ordered, you had over a month to communicate this, the delivery service didn’t mention it, store manager didn’t mention it neither of the sales reps that assisted me haven’t mentioned it. He then laughed, as if moving isn’t stressful enough, not having a bed for an extended period of time isn’t funny and I think it’s rather bad business practices to be in sales and not communicate important details on such a large purchase and important items for daily life, and then to laugh? I said excuse me? You find this funny? He then decides to pretend like he thought I was someone else. Ed I believe his name is, very rude. Hasn’t helped to resolve this issue or even save the sale, why would I give you commission and business, sure doesn’t seem like you value or respect your customers. He also refused to give me his regional managers contact information. But don’t worry ED, I called another location and they were more than helpful in giving me that information to inform the business you’re working for just how rude you are. Would not recommend, definitely don’t trust.

November 2022, Ashley Furniture delivered broken and damaged furniture. We filed a claim within an hour of the furniture delivery and they refused our right to a Full Refund. Instead, they forced us to wait for a “Technician to Repair” what should have been delivered in New and Good Condition. Yet, while waiting for a “Technician,” they decided without our acceptance, to refund us $200.00 and called it “Done.” We never approved or accepted the offer of $200, yet they just sent it back to our Card disregarding our right to Cancel For a Full Refund. They never sent a “technician” either. We would have never purchased Ashley Brand Furniture or purchased from Dufresne Spencer Group dba Ashley Homestore, if we knew in advance that they would NOT honor their own Sales Agreement and Deliver Broken/Damaged Furniture. It’s been almost 2 years and they have ghosted us, stole our hard earned money and left us with damaged furniture.

Eric provided excellent service and made the purchase experience very smooth.

They had great delivery dates that were within days. We're very happy & will be back.

My husband and I had a great shopping experience. We were helped when we first walked in and were allowed to walk around and look without being inundated by all sales people. When we found what we were looking for we used the first salesperson when we walked in. We got great discounts with wonderful salespeople.

I came to the store in a bit of a rush. I had company driving up from St. Louis to stay for a few days and didn’t have a mattress for our spare bedroom room. The gentleman that helped me was able to show me a few options and get what I needed without trying to up sell or play games with me. I was loaded and out the door in about 40 minutes. Thank you for being direct and professional.

Went to store to purchase a recliner. We found one we liked and started purchasing it. Ashley's Ordering System is quite cumbersome, they have 2 processing systems in order to make a purchase. The sales person we had encountered alot of problems entering our purchase. She had 2 managers helping her. When everything was completed and buyer's order copy was given to us, my husband noticed the purchase price was different than what was on chair. Of course my credit card had already been charged with incorrect amount. Invoice had to be revised and a store credit written up for price difference. Upon getting home, I went online to see what the chair material was made of. I then found out the online price was much lower than the store price by $200.00. We decided to go back on Sunday to talk to a Manager. The Store Manager was great. He looked at our documentation and apologized for the issues we encountered. He then revised our purchase order to reflect the much lower price (which included a 25% discount). Total savings $232.00. My recommendation is to check online prices, check purchase order price versus merchandise price tag, and ask about any current discounts being offered. We appreciate all the help the Store Manager gave us.

We recently made 2 purchases from Ashley in Algonquin. I’ve hesitated to write this review because I don’t like to be negative but I feel other potential customers should be aware of my experience. While we were moving, I saw an ad run by Ashley for 30% off your purchase if you spend over X amount of dollars. Once we closed, I called Ashley and spoke with the manager. He said the sale was about to end but he would honor it for me if I came in by a certain time frame and said he would make a note for his associates. When I went in, I was greeted by a woman and told her about the 30% discount. She immediately dismissed me saying they weren’t running it anymore. I explained I spoke with the manager and he was going to leave a note but she made no attempt to verify that and shut me down quickly. I called my husband and told him what happened. He told me to leave - they work on commission and shouldn’t be rude. I told the associate I would come back when they were running the sale because I need furniture and was prepared to buy it all tonight so I was disappointed. Suddenly she was able to honor the sale. I walked around and selected several things. I got a great deal, they were even able to match/beat the online prices on a few pieces. I left feeling happy I got the furniture I loved despite not a great experience with the associate. Fast forward to delivery day - the drivers arrive. They explain they are a 3rd party service, not connected with Ashley. Driver mentions they accept tips and asked for something cold to drink. I had a big order so I was happy to give that to them along with a tip since it was a lot of work. After they brought the last pieces in, it was clear the loveseat didn’t fit. I was previously told by the sales associate that Ashley policy is no returns after the drivers leave. If the piece doesn’t fit or you don’t like it, it must go back with them that day or you are stuck with it. I let the drivers know right away it doesn’t fit. They acknowledged yes it’s too big but tried to help us move it around to see if we could make it work. But we couldn’t. I asked them to take it back. They were annoyed, it became very tense in the room. They went into a story about how they don’t work for Ashley and Ashley lies to their customers saying returns have to go back that day when really they have 72 hours. Said it was too hard to put it back on the truck because they had more deliveries that day and insisted we had 72 hrs. The driver even made a note in his system the piece was too big, he said. I accepted this and tipped them and they went on their way. I call the store immediately, the sales lady I worked with isn’t there nor is the manager. The person at the store told me I had to talk to my original sales lady and he couldn’t help me. He also said I could call GRT, the customer response team. I call GRT. They said absolutely no returns unless damaged. The 72 hrs the drivers spoke about was only for damaged items. The couch was now mine. They checked their system and there were no notes saying it was too big, like the driver said. My heart dropped. The drivers had lied to me. And I tipped them. After that, it became impossible to get ahold of my sales associate. I left multiple messages and was frequently assured I would be called back “in 5 minutes” and never recieved a return-call. The sales lady had even given me her cell phone, I tried calling and texting, radio silence. The next day we called GRT and they refused to do anything. They said it was a known problem with the drivers lying about returns. So I pushed and pushed; if it’s a known problem, it isn’t the customers fault and something needs to be done. They finally agreed to let me exchange it. I had to go back in and try and deal with the same sales lady and communication with her was painful. But I got it done. It was a terrible experience and I will not return to Ashley Furniture again. I love my pieces, I spent a lot of time picking them out but I would be lying if I said I didn’t think about this horrible experience every time I look at them.

NEVER PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE I was screwed by delivery person who refused to take the furniture back on delivery and it was damaged. Now I can not return it because all sales are final. I was told by the store manager when it was delivered that I should have been more demanding because the delivery drivers lie and wont take it back because they won't get paid. I want to return this couch and never ever buy anything from Ashley. It is disgusting how I have been treated. The customer service number is terrible to work with too.

Eric was very nice and professional. He was very helpful. However the young lady kind of acted like we were not there. She even snubbed us and waited on a couple that came in after us. Thanks anyway Eric was great.

Had such a great experience at the store!! No one followed me around like I was a lost puppy. When I did decide to buy a couch, the manager and my sales rep were amazing very kind and friendly!! I even had a nice little conversation!
