It is currently Black Friday traffic so there were a ton of sales people in the store so you didn't have to worry about being ignored for sure. I highly recommend ANN!! She is a designer and knows the "ropes"! Had an answer to all questions asked of her!! I have been in the store previously and met one of the managers, Ben. He remembered us and came over to chat - very nice! OVERALL EXPERIENCE - "GREAT"!!!!!

My Mom recommended Ashley in Algonquin because she had a great experience. She worked with Syed so I wanted to make sure to work with him as well. Syed is awesome!!! He spent almost 5 hours with me looking at a new mattress, couches, dining room table and fireplace entertainment center. Neil (manager) was also great to work with. HIGHLY recommend this location & make sure to ask for Syed!

I can only talk about my own experience. In no way am I saying Ashley furniture is a bad place or company. In my own personal shopping experience, I was greeted by a very nice sales person, she explained they are having a veterans sale, “dont worry about the price tag, there is a discount at the end, plus we will delivery and set it up for free”. With that intonation I decided to look around and write down the SKU numbers, she then told me online prices will be honored as well, so I did a mix of online and in store, get to the end to order my 8,500 order expecting for them to calculate and give what ever “discount” they were speaking of. This gentleman came over after I calculated all my items based on the ticket price, and said “yep that looks good, also buy this 1,200 protection plan” I declined the extra 1,200 and was told o “we will have to add on the delivery charge of 700.00, but if you buy the protection I’ll waive that. Sir you want me to spend 1,200 instead of 700? After you told me I would get the free delivery in the first place. I left the store, and I got a ton of text messages from the regional manager, asking me to come back to purchase these items and he would waive the 700.00. Well you already agreed to waive it in the first place. I did some online research and the same items I was going to purchase was 1,545.00 less than what was being offered to me in the first place. I give 1 star rating because the sales lady was really friendly.

Rozy was great from start to finish. I just wanted 2 (cheapish) recliners and when I sat in one double the price I had imagined paying I fell in love with the chair. Rozy managed to get me a great deal with a bit of a discount in order for me to be able to get these 2 recliners that I loved. She was actually amazing to deal with and I have always been pretty happy with ashley as a whole. Be sure to ask for Rozy when you check out this location!

Update: thanks for adding to the 100 useless phone numbers you and your staff have provided. All those numbers do is assist you with orders either scheduling or canceling. Your business model seems like it’s not set up to provide actual customer service issues, nor does it seem like you care to resolve them and better your business. After reading the reviews, how many store managers do you guys have? I made a large purchase to furnish my new place, over a month in advance. Was guaranteed delivery for EVERYTHING on requested and reserved date(twice by two different sales reps, once day of purchase the 2nd time when I called a week after purchasing to confirm dimensions on an item). Had I not been wise to double check the delivery services invoice of what they had to deliver I would have no mattress! I called the store a number of times the sales reps unable to help and store manager is avoidant. I began to call corporate which is difficult and useless as they don’t have information on specific stores and can only assist with orders? What?! I then called the store back and finally after expressing my concern for my fast approaching move and delivery date for part of my order the manager finally calls me back. He proceeds to ask what is going on, I explained how no one mentioned my order would be delayed and specific item is back ordered, you had over a month to communicate this, the delivery service didn’t mention it, store manager didn’t mention it neither of the sales reps that assisted me haven’t mentioned it. He then laughed, as if moving isn’t stressful enough, not having a bed for an extended period of time isn’t funny and I think it’s rather bad business practices to be in sales and not communicate important details on such a large purchase and important items for daily life, and then to laugh? I said excuse me? You find this funny? He then decides to pretend like he thought I was someone else. Ed I believe his name is, very rude. Hasn’t helped to resolve this issue or even save the sale, why would I give you commission and business, sure doesn’t seem like you value or respect your customers. He also refused to give me his regional managers contact information. But don’t worry ED, I called another location and they were more than helpful in giving me that information to inform the business you’re working for just how rude you are. Would not recommend, definitely don’t trust.

We were happy it didn’t feel like we were at a car dealership when we walked in-we weren’t attacked by sales people. The store was extremely clean, and everyone was very helpful once we needed assistance. Nobody seemed pushy, and many people jumped in to help when we had questions. It was a very pleasant experience.

Rosie was an amazing person! Walked in with something in mind and she helped me and my wife find the perfect sofa for our home. Exactly what we had thought of she brought to life. Everyone at the store was also very friendly and helpful. All our future furniture shopping will definitely be done here. A little out of the way for us but you cannot beat the professionalism and care they have for you and that is certainly worth every mile!

Always ready to help but was not following us around the store and gave us room to make our choices haha. New store location also great. Delivery time frames for our items was fast - within 1 week! Erica G was fabulous. She wasn’t your stereotypical pushy salesperson. She had such a pleasant personality, was quick in getting answers to all of our questions and didn’t hesitate to find us the best deal on our purchase. If we come back to the store we will look to work with her! Other stores could learn quite a lot from her excellent customer service (we had just come from another furniture store).

November 2022, Ashley Furniture delivered broken and damaged furniture. We filed a claim within an hour of the furniture delivery and they refused our right to a Full Refund. Instead, they forced us to wait for a “Technician to Repair” what should have been delivered in New and Good Condition. Yet, while waiting for a “Technician,” they decided without our acceptance, to refund us $200.00 and called it “Done.” We never approved or accepted the offer of $200, yet they just sent it back to our Card disregarding our right to Cancel For a Full Refund. They never sent a “technician” either. We would have never purchased Ashley Brand Furniture or purchased from Dufresne Spencer Group dba Ashley Homestore, if we knew in advance that they would NOT honor their own Sales Agreement and Deliver Broken/Damaged Furniture. It’s been almost 2 years and they have ghosted us, stole our hard earned money and left us with damaged furniture.

Gina was absolutely amazing! She is very knowledgeable about the products and offers. Whenever I had questions, she answered them thoroughly. I found a perfect white drawer set to complement my room, and I am very happy with my purchase. It wouldn’t have been the same without Gina and the rest of the fantastic staff at this location. If you are planning on getting new furniture, I cannot recommend this place enough!

We were immediately greeted by Ann. I had found the furniture I wanted online. She was professional & personable. Ann offered us credit, warranty & showed us the items which we wanted to purchase. Within a half hour we had purchased a dresser, mirror, nightstand & desk and were out the door. The prices were really great & furniture was top notch. They had great delivery dates that were within days. We're very happy & will be back.

My husband and I had a great shopping experience. We were helped when we first walked in and were allowed to walk around and look without being inundated by all sales people. When we found what we were looking for we used the first salesperson when we walked in. We got great discounts with wonderful salespeople.

Syed at the store in South Randall in Algonquin helped me decide in picking my furniture when I was in between two choices. He really cares about the customers choice based on needs and he was very helpful. Ashley have high quality furnitures and love everything in the store and I will shop here again.

I came to the store in a bit of a rush. I had company driving up from St. Louis to stay for a few days and didn’t have a mattress for our spare bedroom room. The gentleman that helped me was able to show me a few options and get what I needed without trying to up sell or play games with me. I was loaded and out the door in about 40 minutes. Thank you for being direct and professional.

Went to store to purchase a recliner. We found one we liked and started purchasing it. Ashley's Ordering System is quite cumbersome, they have 2 processing systems in order to make a purchase. The sales person we had encountered alot of problems entering our purchase. She had 2 managers helping her. When everything was completed and buyer's order copy was given to us, my husband noticed the purchase price was different than what was on chair. Of course my credit card had already been charged with incorrect amount. Invoice had to be revised and a store credit written up for price difference. Upon getting home, I went online to see what the chair material was made of. I then found out the online price was much lower than the store price by $200.00. We decided to go back on Sunday to talk to a Manager. The Store Manager was great. He looked at our documentation and apologized for the issues we encountered. He then revised our purchase order to reflect the much lower price (which included a 25% discount). Total savings $232.00. My recommendation is to check online prices, check purchase order price versus merchandise price tag, and ask about any current discounts being offered. We appreciate all the help the Store Manager gave us.

We recently made 2 purchases from Ashley in Algonquin. I’ve hesitated to write this review because I don’t like to be negative but I feel other potential customers should be aware of my experience. While we were moving, I saw an ad run by Ashley for 30% off your purchase if you spend over X amount of dollars. Once we closed, I called Ashley and spoke with the manager. He said the sale was about to end but he would honor it for me if I came in by a certain time frame and said he would make a note for his associates. When I went in, I was greeted by a woman and told her about the 30% discount. She immediately dismissed me saying they weren’t running it anymore. I explained I spoke with the manager and he was going to leave a note but she made no attempt to verify that and shut me down quickly. I called my husband and told him what happened. He told me to leave - they work on commission and shouldn’t be rude. I told the associate I would come back when they were running the sale because I need furniture and was prepared to buy it all tonight so I was disappointed. Suddenly she was able to honor the sale. I walked around and selected several things. I got a great deal, they were even able to match/beat the online prices on a few pieces. I left feeling happy I got the furniture I loved despite not a great experience with the associate. Fast forward to delivery day - the drivers arrive. They explain they are a 3rd party service, not connected with Ashley. Driver mentions they accept tips and asked for something cold to drink. I had a big order so I was happy to give that to them along with a tip since it was a lot of work. After they brought the last pieces in, it was clear the loveseat didn’t fit. I was previously told by the sales associate that Ashley policy is no returns after the drivers leave. If the piece doesn’t fit or you don’t like it, it must go back with them that day or you are stuck with it. I let the drivers know right away it doesn’t fit. They acknowledged yes it’s too big but tried to help us move it around to see if we could make it work. But we couldn’t. I asked them to take it back. They were annoyed, it became very tense in the room. They went into a story about how they don’t work for Ashley and Ashley lies to their customers saying returns have to go back that day when really they have 72 hours. Said it was too hard to put it back on the truck because they had more deliveries that day and insisted we had 72 hrs. The driver even made a note in his system the piece was too big, he said. I accepted this and tipped them and they went on their way. I call the store immediately, the sales lady I worked with isn’t there nor is the manager. The person at the store told me I had to talk to my original sales lady and he couldn’t help me. He also said I could call GRT, the customer response team. I call GRT. They said absolutely no returns unless damaged. The 72 hrs the drivers spoke about was only for damaged items. The couch was now mine. They checked their system and there were no notes saying it was too big, like the driver said. My heart dropped. The drivers had lied to me. And I tipped them. After that, it became impossible to get ahold of my sales associate. I left multiple messages and was frequently assured I would be called back “in 5 minutes” and never recieved a return-call. The sales lady had even given me her cell phone, I tried calling and texting, radio silence. The next day we called GRT and they refused to do anything. They said it was a known problem with the drivers lying about returns. So I pushed and pushed; if it’s a known problem, it isn’t the customers fault and something needs to be done. They finally agreed to let me exchange it. I had to go back in and try and deal with the same sales lady and communication with her was painful. But I got it done. It was a terrible experience and I will not return to Ashley Furniture again. I love my pieces, I spent a lot of time picking them out but I would be lying if I said I didn’t think about this horrible experience every time I look at them.

NEVER PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE I was screwed by delivery person who refused to take the furniture back on delivery and it was damaged. Now I can not return it because all sales are final. I was told by the store manager when it was delivered that I should have been more demanding because the delivery drivers lie and wont take it back because they won't get paid. I want to return this couch and never ever buy anything from Ashley. It is disgusting how I have been treated. The customer service number is terrible to work with too.

Stay away from this store! They will overcharge you for delivery fee! This is some serious scam, please be aware!

Absolutely worse experience ever. Three times they delivered USED furniture. Didn’t care. Don’t want to help. Dirty. Ripped. Nail heads popping through. Staples popping through. Store doesn’t care. They made their commissions. Erica (sales person) won’t return texts or calls now that money is in the bank.

Eric My sales person was very knowledgeable about sizes types, and options for sectionals, sectionals with recliners and couches. He could answer my questions very quickly.

Had to shop from Florida and Eric was absolutely great guiding me to the right bed and sofa at the right price by phone and internet.

Eric was great!! He was patient while we looked over the entire store, waited while three of us decided on colors, patterns and more, and then gave us all the finance options once we decided to buy. He was in no way pushy, didn't follow us around, just checked in from time to time and answered any questions we had. He made the entire experience easier!!

Really disappointed in Ashley Furniture. I purchased a couch the beginning of February, I was told it would be delivered the second/third week of April. The delivery kept being pushed back, I did not receive my couch until 6/19. The cushions feel nothing like the ones in store, they feel extremely cheap.

Wonderful experience, was able to browse around without any high pressure sales tactics. When I had questions they quick and responsive. Overall great experience.

I am pleased with the service received and the delivery

Ed Leahy was absolutely awesome. I was there multiple times and he was never pushy just very helpful and informative … made today’s experience great and appreciate him helping me find the best solution for my space! I’ll be back to see Ed in the future and send people in to see him as well!

Sales person was friendly and helpful. Delivery and set-up was very unsatisfactory. Called on the same day of delivery to express my concerns, they noted concern, and told me expect a text for another appointment to be scheduled. I received a text with link to set up delivery, make warranty claims, etc. Firstly, you’re unable to set up an appt. with that link. Secondly, improper set up is NOT the manufacturer’s issue. Called again a week later to explain this and a resolution, and still nothing! My recommendation, try mattress at store but buy it elsewhere with better service. Next time I drop $5500, it won’t be at Ashley’s! So disappointed.

The manager is amazing- always remembers us when we come in. Today we had a new employee assisting us and she was amazing! Ashley Algonquin never disappoints!

Lupe was absolutely amazing!!! She went above and beyond to find us the perfect furniture based on color preference and budget. We got more than we could imagine, and she took her time to explain all finance options and different upgrade options to the couches. We just planned on looking today but so glad it turned out the way it did. The whole store was very welcoming including Cesar. We went to lazy boy right before and they were very rude and didn’t care to make our shopping experience a good one.

Had to wait a long time for our sales person. Initial pricing with delivery was too high.

I bought the Stairatt sofa that was on sale online for $349. My best friend has one and I sit on it every week. I think it will be perfect in my house to replace my 27 year old sofa. Erica was a fantastic saleswoman. She wrote up my order quickly and efficiently and gave me her contact information in case I had any issues. This is the second time I've shopped at Ashley Furniture in Algonquin and plan to in the future for any furniture needs. Erica made for another delightful experience at Ashley. (Previously we worked with Nicole)

Had a great experience buying a sectional! Bill was a great salesman!

We had an ottoman delivered 3 times and the product was not perfect. First, the wrong color. Second, there was a tear. Third, the product is dirty. I luckily bought the protection plan so I’m going to call this week and have them clean it after the first day of owning the ottoman. The buying process was great and had a wonderful experience in the store. I am not happy with the product quality being delivered after the THIRD time.

Nicole a manager at the Algonquin store helped my wife pick out an entire house of furnishings. We recently downsized and none of our existing furniture would fit in the new home.. She was so patient with us as it was super difficult. Horrible experience at the Algonquin location. Helen (I believe that was the name I read on her name tag but she never actually introduced herself or gave me her card) offered to help my fiancé and I with the sectional couch we were looking at and interested in buying. I immediately told her I had a quote from their Schaumburg store for this exact model which includes free delivery. She said the best way to show their price is for her to build the deal like she normally does. She then proved to be incompetent and rude when going over the set up and pieces of the couch. Despite the aggravation I still followed through with the process so I could put a down payment on the couch before the sale on it ends in 3 days. After waiting for my ever a half hour for her to get me a price it came back higher than the one I previously got from the Schaumburg location (which I showed her a picture of) to which she said “a lot of people have been fired from that location so don’t trust what they say.” Basically she wasted my time when I showed her the price I was expecting upfront and was completely unprofessional. We are planning to furnish multiple rooms and this store has now lost our business.

I had reviewed a furniture item on line and we wanted to see it. It was everything that we wanted. The salesman, Eric, was most helpful and informative. He pointed out all the features and answered our questions and concerns in an honest manner. The result is that we made the purchase. We met other store personnel and they were equally friendly and helpful.

Bought a set of couches from here. Hasn’t even been 6 months and the frames are broken since they are made so cheaply made and put together. Tried calling Ashley and they redirected me to a different number, because they don’t take care of purchases that weren’t made online. Tried contacting them and no one answers the phone. Have left my number under the option that says they will call back, yet it has been weeks of me trying and no one calls back. Horrible customer service, trash materials, won’t be purchasing from them any longer. Stay away. Should be able to get money back or replace these cheaply made couches.

If you don't know where your product is then what's the point in having customers schedule delivery? For a $460 delivery fee this is terrible. I get supply chain issues... This comes down to not knowing how to properly manage your supply. Unless they have it in stock, I don't recommend you go to Ashley.

Went looking for a new sectional. The store was clean and nicely laid out into sections, modern, rustic, vintage, etc. The customer service- or at least the employee who approached us was very rude. First, he handed me a packet of paper and when I asked a question, he talked over me multiple times and did not even acknowledge that I was talking. We finally were able to look around and as we did, he crept around watching us. As expected, employees at furniture stores are like ones at dealerships, constantly lingering around and not letting their prey out of sight, so that wasn't too big of a deal since it is the norm. What really turned us away was when my boyfriend and I were testing out a reclining sectional and Bill (the employee) came up to us and started a conversation that went like this: Bill: *using a friendly tone* I am not a statue, I am here to answer your questionsMe: thank you but we don't have any questions right nowBill: *still using a friendly tone but a little more aggressive* I work for Tempur-Pedic *points to tempur-pedic Dr coat that looked like it was from a Spirit Halloween store* so it is my job to answer all the questions you haveMe: We don't have any but thank you. We are just-----Bill: he cut me off *using an aggressive tone* are you EVEN INTERESTED in buying anything? zero stars if i could, ordered 2 beds- their white glove assembly destroyed the beds bolts were stripped and sticking out where you could easily walk into them the side boards were put on upside down head board and foot boards un even- send a second tech out that said he couldnt fix it and went on to say the terrible job the first guy did- no help from customer service- they want to replace them so we can go through the same issues- also bought a couch that arrived ripped. Even if you buy in store with a person they tell you its out of their hands. Ashley is a poorly run company.

This is a cautionary tale. You might be treated different. I tell it to share my experiences. Give you fellow shoppers an idea of what can happen. Had one of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had here tonight. My wife and I have been looking for a new mattress, a base and some tables for weeks. Takes a lot to lay on dozens, manage prices, look at sales, changing prices, they do free delivery but not for that, can do a special discount but not on 60 months only 36 ect. Money down here but not there. Did we tell you no warranty if you buy this with that... So it's taken a long time. I have been on review sites, good housekeeping, test date all that. Finally we know what we want to sleep on, just need to discuss price and plan. I have talked to a few different reps and had one I really liked and one we didn't. These guys all work on straight commission so they are all HUNGRY. We even had a bet going if we could sneak through store and make it to mattress side without a vulture clinging on to us. We didn't. So we get to them and of course the guy we liked the least was right there. Gave off an uneasy almost creepy vibe. Damn. He's got a little white coat on and I think he thinks he's a medical professional. Locks on to us, he is planning on eating tonight. Bee lines to us we turn away, try to give off a vibe that we arent ready to talk. Hes not having it. Im looking all around, hoping against hope i can spot the head of the man i really came to see over all those sofas and head boards. Please save me. Well in for a penny, I start to tell him what I have decided on and researched and he immediately jumps in on me and tells me how he's a specialist and is trained and has been doing this like 20 years and how he is a master. Going in to coils and pressure points.... I asked him why many personal reviews completely contradict what he said and he brushes me off. Well he says we need to buy his recommendation for about $4,000 more. Which by the way this brands pays him a higher commission and had its name on his bright white dr coat. Now remember we have spent time with him before and my wife even said to him a few times, my hubby has to be ok with this. So he stops talking to me turns to my wife and say "your mom and I have already agreed to what you need. " wow ok that happened. She is stunned mouth open. First you think she looks so bad she is 20 years older than me. Second you think so little of me your saying I'm some 40 yr old guy having my mommy buy me a bed? Third we are shopping for a split king and have told you she likes her side softer than I sleep so you know we both sleep in the same bed. Your saying she's my mom and we sleep in the same bed together? Dude where the heck did you come from that that is ok, or are you really trying to insult us? Never slept in the same bed with my REAL mom as a toddler, not condoning it in my 40's. But im not judging here, do your own thing as an adult if it makes you happy. Wife's jaw still on the floor he says something about having 4 kids, mistakes happen. He tells me they can't sell me the combo I want that the other guy said a few days ago was fine. All kinds of contradictions and games. The whole time giving me a condescending tone. Not listening at all to me. Expects we should just pay $8,000 for the mattress he wants us to sleep on. BTW that's for the mattress, the base is another $4,000. Plus the tables we were buying. Hey Mr. Doc if that kind of money is no big deal, how about you loan it to me??? Any way that's my experience at this store, yours may vary, but don't say I didn't warn you! We walked out went to a different store. the bed I wanted is coming next week. He never even said anything as we left. I think I'm going to hassles from now on. They have NO employees.

One member in particular, Nicole, is so knowledgeable, especially in the bedroom section. She has given me such great insight for future purchases it’s unbelievable! There has been absolutely no communication of any delivery changes and no one you can speak to live to help you. I ordered a sectional couch and spend thousands at this location and was told I would be getting my delivery on Dec 9. On Dec 8, I called and said delivery would be the next day. I called again on Dec 9 ( date of the delivery ) , and they changed the delivery date without notifying me. I had already got rid of the furniture in my place to make room for the new furniture. So now, I have no furniture in my house and there has not been any communication from Ashley regarding this. I would definitely never recommend Ashely to anyone.

Absolute disgrace of customer experience. Got a couch delivered 2 weeks ago. One piece was broke upon delivery. Still haven’t got a hold of anyone but a bot to rectify it. The bot has us in circles. Do not buy from here. I never will again. No one in the store can help you when it comes to this. They keep giving you new numbers to call where you sit on hold for well over 20 mins. I reviewed this a month ago with a five star review and now I’m changing it to a 1 star . my Black Friday experience was great. But now it’s been almost 9 weeks since I purchased two power reclining couches. They delivered about two weeks later and after they where set in my living room I noticed the one couch sat crooked and when I turned over the whole frame that was supposed to be straight was bent like a U and a wood piece was also broken. It looks like it was dropped really hard. I watched the delivery men and they were very careful. So I called the warranty center expecting the couch would be replaced but no I had to take pictures and send them in. Then I was told they would send parts to my house and a repair technician would come out to repair it. Well I received the parts after new years and have had two appointments scheduled but they have canceled both times on the day of service Now they said they can’t come out till February. An absolute nightmare. The furniture was delivered in the late evening, instead of the morning schedule (not ETA, scheduled time!!). No one called and informed about the changes, I had to call myself many times and each time find out where my furniture was and what was happening. Service is terrible

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! SCAM!!!! My experience with Ashley, the so-called furniture store in Algonquin, was absolutely dreadful. This place is nothing but a scam. They lured us in with what they claimed were discounts, only to reveal that those were just their regular website prices. And to make things worse, they refused to any exchange or return requests, even though they promise otherwise during purchase! BE CAREFUL! . Their customer service is a joke – they promised we could return items during delivery, but that turned out to be a lie. The manager, Caesar, treated my wife with appalling disrespect in my absence, and the associate Brendan, who had offered to help, did absolutely nothing. I can't stress this enough: avoid Ashlee at all costs. It's a blatant scam, and they don't deserve anyone's business.

We worked with Nicole and she was very helpful. She was able to work out a deal and we are so happy and satisfied with her help and our brand new couch for our new home.

I wish I could go back to that fateful day back in July when I stepped foot into this store and purchased from them. If I would've known then what I know now, I wouldn't have the ulcer that is forming in my stomach from the stress this place has caused us. There is not one honest or ethical person in the entire corporation. The salespeople can't tell you the truth of the nightmare you're bringing upon yourself because you would run, not walk, out the door.They will take your money. Sell you defective furniture. Have their own service company come out and CONFIRM it's defective. But NEVER EVER will they EVER remove that garbage from your home and give you your money back. The set we bought is discontinued because of the numerous complaints, issues and defects with it. So that means they knew, on that day in July, that it was trash. We purchased overpriced defective furniture and they will not remove it unless we purchase something or multiple items that total the cost of the trash they sent us. We are being forced to purchase items we don't want or need just so they remove the defective furniture from our house. We were willing to buy something that was around half of the defective furniture but they will NOT refund the difference. So either we buy other garbage we don't need, want or have any intention of purchasing or I'm stuck with unusable furniture that I couldn't give away for free. Either way you look at it, from the beginning they have no intention of doing right. Never EVER again will I recommend them. I have two family members that need furniture for their whole house. They would rather hang on to MY $2,000 and lose about $10-15k in purchases from the 2 other family members. Moronic

Bought 2 Couches for our basement, they smelled, I looked it up and found that off-gassing occurs and should go away in a couple weeks. We went on vacation and had fans in the basement ventilating for an entire week. Came home to the unbearable smell of chemicals. Only a exact replacement was offered, why would I want to go through that again... I asked for store credit or a refund but so far denied. Waiting for an escalated response, next step may be better business bureau complaint and who knows maybe Ashley will find themselves in another lawsuit. Keep in mind I have a toddler and I do not want these chemical couches in my home!

One of the worst experiences that I’ve ever had period after our house burned down finally got to the end of the tunnel and it was time to buy Furniture . started out great but once they got our money the customer service ended . my dresser drawer came broken and they gave me the wrong headboard from my bed . was continuously ignored for two months. never called back, answered the first phone call and after that dodged every single one at the Algonquin store . Be awhere they are just there to take your money. Had to go through customer service overseas for two months to finally get my drawer fixed and get the right headboard .also want you to know the company that they hire to moving your furniture, brand-new home Damaged all my walls going up the stairs necked, Damaged my son’s door and the bathroom door period and quickly left I noticed it when I went upstairs . I ordered from Lazy Boy and And did not have one single problem you might pay a little more but trust me its worth it

This was our first time going to Ashley Homestore Ashley was recommended to us from a family member whom just purchased a bed /base. Our sales Associate Bill Rockow was extremely patient, gave us different options allowed us to talk amongst ourselves to make a decision about which bed/Base and what would best fit our budget. Bill walked us through different beds from Stern & Foster, Sealy and Tempurpedic just to name a few. I have to say each bed we tested was like sleeping on a cloud. Comfort Guaranteed.. With Great Joy and Bill Rockow's expertise and knowledge of each bed We decided on a Pro Adapt king mattress from Tempurpedic.

My salesman Bill was very knowledgeable, he listened to what I was looking for in Furniture and mattress. I look forward to referring other people we know to him and Ashley Furniture.

Buyer Beware- DSG Ashley the corporation that owns this store. They are awful. They make Bernie Madoff look like a pillar of ethics and honesty. Don’t buy from here unless you want aggravation and an ulcer. They hide behind vague misleading policies, double speak and IMO false advertising. Don’t believe what is on the Ashley website because according to DSG they’re not Ashley so they don’t have to stand behind the published policies. It doesn’t specify or advertise that everything you are reading doesn’t pertain to them and NO ONE at the store will tell you that information upfront otherwise they won’t make a sale. Changed my mind— this store is just as useless as the corporate— they are all scammers. This review is NOT about the store but the company as a whole. We purchased a reclining sectional in July. We’ve had it for approximately 2 months. This is the most defective piece of furniture I’ve ever owned. When we first received it, we were pretty happy with it. The cushions were firm like all new furniture is. Fast forward 2 months. The cushions are no longer firm. They are nonexistent. We are pretty much sitting on wood or whatever is underneath the fabric. We called customer service (I use that term lightly). The person I spoke with told me there’s nothing wrong with the pieces that it just needs to be broken in. Any more breaking in we would do, we’d be sitting on the floor. I explained to the lady that, the quality of what is in my house does NOT match what’s in the store. She said she looked at the pictures on the website and what we have in the house matches the pictures. Ok. So. That doesn’t mean you didn’t send a defective piece of garbage. I called again and spoke to another guy. He tells me he will send service out with parts. Really? You’re going to send someone out with a padding, needles and threads? We talked to corporate. All we wanted to do was exchange it for something that wasn’t trash. She said no too. That what we have just needs to be broken in. How are you going to tell me that I am not intelligent enough to KNOW that what we are sitting on isnt defective. I can see it. We are sitting on it. You are not. We’ve ordered many many times from Ashley and we’ve been content with our purchases and have never complained. This is the first time we’ve had a problem and I now see what a mistake it was handing these people our money all these years. They have no integrity. They’ll sell you a gold ring, send you tin and once it’s in your house, it’s your problem because “it looks the same” Awful company to do business with. There’s too many others out there to deal with these people.

This was a much different experience with Ashley home store from our previous one at a different location. Previously we would enter the store only to be stalked by the sales rep and felt pressured into buying something. If you so much batter an eye at an item, you’d have the rep try to convince you to buy it. Here, our sales rep (Eric) did exactly what anyone should do. He introduced himself and gave us PLENTY of space to walk around and see what we wanted and never felt pressured into buying anything. He would give you his opinions and inform us on any information we asked out. Always keeping us in view but never breathing down our necks. Definitely recommend going here!

My recent visit to Ashley's Furniture was great. Erik, deserves nothing less than a rave review. Erik's warm and welcoming demeanor instantly put me at ease. Generally, shopping is stressful for me, however, I showed this man my empty living room and he helped me navigate through the options effortlessly. His recommendations were not only spot-on but also aligned perfectly with my personal preferences. The entire process enjoyable, stress-free, and was very clear.

Ashley does not stand behind the furniture they sell.I have a 2 year old leather sectional,the leather is peeling on the seat back.I purchased a 5year protection plan and still can't get it repaired.BEWARE

Avoid this store. Especially This location. We used to be all our furniture from Ashley, but they have changed. It took over an hour to check out at the store after buying 4 items. We were promised next week delivery only 2 items showed up. They said next week. We waited and they were a no and no show. Finally got a hold of someone they said it would be another 2 months. No set dates. No communication, help or compensation. We had to go to another store. The customer service is awful and you can’t even call the store or get anyone that knows what’s going on.

From the showroom to the customer service, I highly recommend this location of Ashley.

The store manager, Caesar, was very attentive and kind. I ended up having to come back the next day so I could take measurements and the process of ordering was very simple. My only complaint would be that the delivery options/cost was never discussed with me and after looking at my paperwork, I wish I would have known the options because I likely wouldn’t have paid for assembly to save some money. I tried calling the number listed on the business card to get clarification on my order but there is zero option to talk to a human being so that is frustrating.

We had a great experience at Ashley, even on a busy Labor Day holiday! Syed was a terrific sales person and treated us well. He listened to our needs and was patient as we thought through our options. Furniture was priced reasonably and we can't wait for it's delivery!

Terrible service. Once they sell you something they are hands off. Did not pick up ny old mattress when I bought a 3700 dollars mattress. The representative lady kept arguing and they are telling me it's 72h to talk to a manager. Go somewhere else. Follow up to my initial problem. The mattress was horrible and the store and the store manager refused to help. I spent 3600 dollars on a mattress and they gave me a number to call. Total rip off stay away from this store.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience but the one downside was when I placed the order, it was mentioned to me that the items were scheduled for delivery but today when I spoke to someone it was mentioned that the delivery was never scheduled. I don’t understand why would someone purchase an item if they are not planning for a delivery? Definitely needs work here. Communication lapse to avoid

We received the chair with heater and massager NOT working. Trying to deal with repair company is a pain in the ..... butt. Still waiting to find out when they will come to fix it. At least the recliner is comfortable

DeAndrea was helpful and was willing to get help when she didn’t know answers. She let us seek out furniture without hovering too close. The ordering process seemed extremely slow and I got 5 copies of what appears to be the same document( I did order 5 different pieces). She was also helpful in changing the delivery date from as soon as possible to after all the new flooring is installed. We shopped several stores and found Ashley had the best furniture options and good prices.

Bill Krockow was our sales representative. He was exactly what you want in someone at a store like this. We walked in and we weren’t immediately bombarded by anyone which was amazing, unlike TRP, where they’re all over you the second you step in the store. They have us a few minutes to walk around and then after a bit, he came by and just casually asked what we were looking for. He then explained where those items were at throughout the store, told us where he would be if we had questions, and left us alone. We were looking to furnish a couple of rooms so he gave us adaquate time before checking in. Once we started to narrow things down, we started to finish off each room with Bill and at the end, we tallied everything up and he gave us our maximum discount, no questions asked. Set up our delivery and financing for us and got us out of there as soon as he could as our 3 year old son was getting anxious and hungry. He realized we were getting ready to get out of there and he moved things along as fast as he could. The furniture is top of the line and we expect it to last us the duration of our time in our home. This was the best furniture shopping experience I’ve ever had.

They don't care of the customer I had a Bunk bed being deviled about two weeks ago, Driver Cannot deviled it because he was missing screws for the bunk bed they rescheduled it for this Tuesday 11/26/2024 with the mattress I was inform by the driver that they only had the mattress and no bunk bed the driver made a phone call and he lied to me by saying that I was going to get the bunk bed on Wednesday 11/26/2024. I haven't received the bunk bed yet I just got off the phone with customer service to cancel the order and to take the mattress back. they told me do to companies policy's they cannot take it back, but their driver can lied to you because he was lazy and did not want to take it back so know I have to pay for it and its okay for there driver not to follow company policy but they want the customer to follow the company policy.

I just signed a lease for an apt that I need to furnish and I went in to buy One of Two things. I left with purchasing One of those two things and plan to return to purchase the other item needed that he’ll receive compensation for because He definitely deserves it, especially since He was the ONLY salesperson who spoke to me upon entering the store. Eric was personable in being honest about your computer problems. He assured me that it would most likely be fixed within a day or two. I ordered a beige sofa but realized that when I got home it was too large for the space. I called and could only leave a voicemail to tell them that I could not purchase the sofa. I asked if he would cancel my order but have received no confirmation yet as to whether it has been cancelled. It was a handwritten order and I have no reference number to give to you. Ordered a living room set. The in store experience went well. After that it was a nightmare. Waited nearly 2 weeks to hear from them about delivery. They couldn't provide any updates because of "system outages". Once the delivery got here they didn't have half of our furniture. Drivers didn't have updates. The multiple numbers they provided didn't say anything but "the system is down" and didn't give us an option to talk with a representative. When I spend thousands of dollars I expect a little common decency and customer service. I will not be ordering from them again and will actively be recommending that everyone I know should avoid them as well. Absolutely unacceptable experience.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don’t give this place a penny. As soon as they get your money, they won’t help you with a thing. If there’s an issue it’s not their problem and they’ll just tell you to call their customer service number which gives you to someone who has no clue what to do. It’s taken 2 months just to get a section of our couch fixed that was delivered to us damaged. We’ve had to exchange 3 sections of our couch because there is damage when we’ve received the pieces!! Don’t waste your time at this store, you’ll regret it.

We were very impressed with Ashley in Algonguin, specifically with Irene who was very professional, courteous, knowledgable and personable. We did not feel pressured into making a decision but rather left the decision to us by showing us furniture that would fit our lifestyle. Very impressed by Ashley's delivery process and speed of delivery. We will buy here again!

Even thou I spent thousands of dollars at your store in the past couple of years. And I will be sending a nasty review on yelp. And I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau .

Came into the store looking for a nightstand and a tv stand. Bill was the one who assisted me, and he was great! 10/10 experience

The in-house customer service should be managed by A-I. At least then they would have some level of intelligence. They don’t listen to customer concerns. Only give company “line”. I purchased a bunch that was labeled with a list price sticker. The sales person found out when trying to get a delivery date that there was no more in inventory. She offered me the floor model. I excepted. Not once did she say that it was as it is. The customer service person said that I could not have a defect repaired on this item because it is a closeout item. Nowhere on this item (that was in the store) was it marked close out. It had a list price tag on it. The sales person never said it was a close out. And they never said is was as is. Yet they won’t be stand behind their product. They said sorry too bad we can do nothing for you. I canceled my entire $3100 order that was due to ship on June 3rd. I will never shop here again.

Chris was awesome. He let me browse and waited around until I was ready. If he didn’t know the answers to my questions, he made sure he got an answer for me. He just started with the business but he has an amazing attitude.

We recently bought a new mattress, fireplace, and sofa from Eric. He’s such a nice person, and we always go to him because his attitude is warm and genuine, and he makes the whole experience easy and pleasant. We’re really pleased with everything he does for us.

The staff at Ashley's are very helpful. We have bought furniture from there 2 times now and will continue for years to come. Wow, i wish i would have looked at this before i shopped there. i was looking for a spare room mattress so didn't want to spend a lot. The guy sold me what seemed like a great deal w/ an adjustable base and told me i had 100 days to review it if i bought the mattress pad cover, so i did.Turns out it's too hard and apparently the brand i bought is NOT exchangeable. i was going to spend probably $2k more and they still wouldn't take the mattress back. Hopefully my 82 year old mother will not be too uncomfortable on it. I will never go to Ashley again and will do my research, and will not be so trusting in the future.

Do not get the warranty service just a waste of time. I order a couch in Feb 14, 2023. It was shipped damage instead of them replacing the couch they wanted to repair. The repair company didn’t show up for (3)appointments , they order the wrong part (2) times. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS🤬🤮I can go on. Today date is April 20, 2023 and ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! Still have not resolved my problem. Please I beg you all never shop here you will regret it. The south Loop store..

This store is absolutely beautiful with many selections for furniture! Our sales associate Erica was very kind to us and made sure our furniture was delivered on the day that worked for us. She did a great job. We mostly love our new Francesca Auburn Reclining Sofa and chair. The one issue we have is that there is a very sharp metal edge poking out of the side and I've already run into it twice, injuring myself. I contacted Ashley's store which rerouted me to their customer service. I spoke with 3 different people who did not understand English well, and gave me different information on how to fix the issue. They claimed they would get back to me within 72 hours. They did not. I called back again, and was told to call directly the technician company to have the pokey side fixed. When I called, the technician told me to call back Ashley's. This time when I called Ashley's customer service again, I was told I had to email them a photo of the issue. So I did. Then they told me again to wait 72 hours. I've still not heard back. I'm assuming they do not care and will not get back to me at this point. I plan to stop by the store tomorrow to talk to someone in person. We love our new furniture but we need this issue fixed or a new chair sent out without the sharp piece sticking out. I believe we have one with a manufacturing issue.Fair warning if you purchase from Ashley's. They have the worlds WORST customer service. It's too bad because their furniture is pretty good. I already gave away my old loveseat. If I had kept it I may be tempted to just return the recliner. But I'm not even sure that's possible at this point. No one seems to want to help now that we've already given them our money for the new furniture. I will not stop until we get this solution resolved. It is dangerous to have a metal piece sticking out of your furniture. You've been warned.

ORDERING FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY HAS BECOME A NIGHTMARE. The so-called "customer service" we have received from the Algonquin, IL store is the WORST we have ever received from ANY type of organization. On February 12, we ordered a bedroom set in the store. No problem there, all happy promises. BUT... they shipped the bedroom set, it had to be assembled, and for both a dresser and a nightstand they sent the wrong parts that don't fit. We took pictures that clearly showed, for example, pre-drilled holes were way off in one piece. We contacted the store. A woman named "Danielle C." there -- who said she is the manager -- was extremely RUDE to me. She flat out noted we were probably building it wrong (though in addition to my husband, even a professional builder here confirmed the parts were wrong!) She said WE have to call the manufacturer -- she said we need to do it, she wouldn't call them. I SENT HER THE PICTURES showing the parts were clearly wrong -- she still insisted it was us doing it wrong and insisted WE, not they, had to call the manufacturer if we wanted to "try" to get parts replaced (the ONLY thing Danielle did was send us the instruction manual electronically that we already had!) A few days later my husband called Danielle -- and she had the same REALLY MEAN and unhelpful attitude to him. And she had the same insistence that it was us "doing it wrong". He even told her he will bring the furniture and incorrect pieces in to the Algonquin location to demonstrate they were the wrong pieces. She said doesn't matter -- and again informed us we can try to call the manufacturer, they won't do it (!!!) We DID, in fact, decide to try the manufacturer. I called them at least SEVEN TIMES. Hard to reach anyone; when we finally did, it sounded hopeful, we sent them the pictures, BUT then they never call back. MULTIPLE times they said they'd call back and haven't. We should not be dealing with the manufacturer direct, of course -- that should be Ashley. Per above, though -- and scanning so many reviews posted by others on this page -- for some reason Ashley now seems to have a "WE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU" after they make a sale policy. Seriously, this has been a nightmare and is still UNRESOLVED.

Save yourself! Learn from our mistake. Don't buy Ashley Furniture. Dufresne Spencer Group dba Ashley HomeStore breached my daughter and partners Contract. Their dining table set came infested with Powderpost Beetles. These bugs are in the wood prior to manufacturing and burrow tunnels, turning your wood furniture to dust from the inside out. They are not the first victims. Many consumers are experiencing the same issues. They did not send them what was ordered. Ashley HomeStore has admitted to the problem, but giving them the run around for a full refund. They don't care, they know this is a problem with their Manufacturing. The Beetle started to emerge only a few months after owning the furniture. They called a Pest Control Professional immediately. In addition, to help protect their home, they were advised to remove the dining table set from the inside of the home and place it into the garage, sealed in plastic and monitor daily for additional Beetles emerging from the wood. Pest Control did a full and Complete Pest Inspection, looking specifically for any other signs of these Beetles in their home. In addition, they examined the bugs and photos which were taken. After their detailed examination of all forensic evidence by the Licensed Pest Control Company, they were identified as a Powderpost Beetle. Powderpost Beetles have a very unique life cycle.They are prevalent and appear in manufactured furniture, including that of Ashley Furniture. This isn't the first time this has happened to Ashley Furniture. The adult basically lays an egg to a tree. The larva bores into the tree, grows and transforms as the Beetle we see emerge. It bores its way to the surface to start its adult life and begin the cycle again. It happens and as a manufacturer of wood products Ashley Furniture is already aware of these pests, along with other pests that infest wood. Generally you can own the furniture for months to years and never know they are inside, until it's too late. Then if they get in your home, they will infest and damage your home. "7 On Your Side," and other news media have reported this problem. Ashley has been fully aware of this issue for years and try to deny that they are responsible. Protect your home and your furniture investments. Don't Buy Ashley Furniture! Look up Ashley/Dufresne Spencer Group on the BBB and see the poor quality furniture AF produces.Update: the social media team answers and looks like they are responsive, but nothing has been done after dozens of calls, email and posts.

Tim was very helpful and kind. I haven't bought a couch in a long time and couldn't make up my mind. He was very patient and knowledgeable.

This store is the worst. Have warranty issues and was assured by Neal the manager, would receive a call back the same day from customer service girl. Never happened. Visited store and Spoke with Ben. As much help as Danielle was!! Been chasing these people down for weeks. Guess what? No one answers the phones at store. Nor answers emails! Guess time to dispute charge with credit card company and contact BBB. Do not give this store your business. They just don't care.

Always be around the delivery crew when they bring in the furniture. In January we had a delivery of a bed where the crew got my personal brand new power drill on the way out.I've been calling the customer service, as well as the local store explaining the whole situation over and over again for 2 months now and nobody is willing to even try to help the situation and bring any solution , so I feel completely helpless on this one, and this comes from a company that makes billions in profits and have many many stores around the world.Customer service is absolute joke, unfortunately, I have waisted probably more then 5-6 hours on the phone with them for absolutely no results whatsoever .Not to mention that the delivery crew put some of the screws of the mattress box in the the wrong way damaging it. So even though they have some good quality furniture I'm really disappointed from the whole situation and propably will make my next purchase somewhere else.

The salesmen in the store were great. They were very knowledgeable, polite, and really listened to what I wanted. The delivery service and the customer service department after delivery is a different story. They are beyond horrible. They do not stand behind their products, allow you to inspect your furniture before bolting out your door, they will not allow you to return it or exchange it despite their policy stating that you have 72 hrs to do so, the supervisor of the customer service dept was the rudest disrespectful person I have ever dealt with. The store personnel I would give 5 starts but the delivery and customer service team would be negative stars. In fact, I will be reporting them to the BBB. My couch had 2 holes in the fabric after I unwrapped it and when I contacted them immediately and reported it, they said I am sorry, since it has been delivered, you are not eligible for a return, or a refund or exchange. Completely unacceptable!!!! I will never ever buy from Ashley again.

Initially, I thought Ashley would be out of my price range, but they had a lot of options. I got a great deal on a living room couch, and large chair, that I loved. It was 1/2 off, and I only paid $1,052.00 (With taxes)! I was not haggled when I walked in the store. Simply greeted, and handed a flyer. When I was ready I was able to talk to the sales associate who helped me. He was well informed about coil systems and the furniture/mattresses. He was extremely kind, personable, and patient (Thank you, Bill). It was a great experience!

Ashley has a wide selection and the sales team are helpful, not pushy. Their main website had a lower price they were happy to match and help us figure out delivery. Very helpful and customer focused.

Rozy Gomez made the experience of purchasing a Tempurpedic bed very pleasant. She is a very personable and cordial sales associate.

I give Erica Guzman 10 stars, she was welcoming, organized, extremely helpful, the only reason we went back to ashley. As far as anything else that had to do with ashley I would give 0 stars. There were numerous things that went wrong with both orders but Erica corrected every situation and stayed on top of it. We r still not done correcting the first order that we got in April but Erica is doing her best.

1st review I’ve ever written because I feel Ashley Furniture sold us a terrible product and is not doing anything to resolve the situation. I signed off on a delivery of a new recliner because when it was delivered it looked good. Delivery people left and then I sat in the chair. Base was broken and motor is extremely loud! After 3 months they sent out a repair man. He says the chair needs all new parts and motor. I didn’t buy a refurbished recliner! I bought a new one. All we want is to return the recliner for a new one! Ashley is saying no! They do not stand by their products! I have a recliner sitting in my house now for 3 months and it’s completely unusable.

I wouldn't recommend them,as they have a no return policy. Our delivery came damaged and now we have to wait until they decide what they are going to do. Stay away!!!

Your store has supplied the worst customer service I have ever been subjected to. We tried to get my wife’s lift recliner repaired because it broke on Thanksgiving day. Your customer service department is staffed by people who have little to no knowledge of the meaning of the word service. As far as I can determine you have purposely given them sub-par equipment, because no matter who you try to talk to, their microphones break up so badly they are un-understandable! Your stores refuse to take payments for service over the phone forcing the customer to come into the store. Not one of my calls for service we’re ever returned, and then my request for my chair to be fixed was shut down without my knowledge. My wife has severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, but she waited from Thanksgiving till the middle of February before we gave up on ever getting any service from you. Finally I was forced to fix the chair myself, after your repair quote was $350. We will never shop at your store again, and will make sure everyone knows how rotten your business really is.

I would not recommend Ashley Furniture. My experience has been horrible. I purchased a new sectional (I had my last sectional since 1995). This was ordered October 29th. In November I received a text stating my items were ready for delivery. I tried to set up delivery the same day but for some reason the items were not ready to deliver and they could not be delivered for 6 weeks. I called the Ashley Algonquin store and spoke to a gentleman who told me I waited to long to get back to the company (it was within 4 hours). Then he went on to state he could not understand where people were getting the money to buy furniture and they were using there stimulus money (shortened conversation). At that point I hung up emailed my salesperson and the store manager and, short story, the delivery was made within the next two weeks. Upon delivery, there was a rip in the recliner, a missing piece from the storage counsel a hole in another piece and the chair does not line up with the wedge. At that point I was told the Ashley store in Algonquin could no longer help and I had to contact customer service. Customer service has been a nightmare (shortened story) I worked with them and AHM (Ashley repair service) Until February 10th when I was unable to reach anyone in the United States and all the department was going to order me some more parts that I didn't need. After reaching out to Better Business Bureau, February 10th, I received a call from Ashley who then ordered me two new pieces, they were delivered but there is still a problem with the wedge and chair lining up. The original service company was suppose to come out yesterday 3/2/23 and fix the problem with the wedge and chair. They were supposed to come between 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm, I received a call at 8:15 pm saying he could be here in 15 minutes, I said no. He also said he had three work orders (no communication). On another note the recliner that had the rip came in and I thought that it was ripped, as well, only to find out that the piece is made with a stitch that if you grab it the wrong way it will rip. (Horrible construction). Today I received 3 texts for AHM (Ahsleys repair service) to set up an appointment for my repair work. I called told them not to bother because at this point it is not worth the aggravation. There is so much more to say, but I could write a book. I highly recommend you look else where to purchase furniture!

Walked in and was harassed and gas lit by multiple people. Nonstop question, and when they weren't pushing a crappy credit card on us they were starring us down. Dozens of them. Standing watching like sharks. Don't let your grandparents walk in here. These people will eat them alive and leave them with one of the worst credit card scams there is. Buyer beware

Hmmm. The store is ok. LOTS of excellent quality furniture... and expensive of course. I was 'put off' when the Web advertised a Theater Chair for $399, but when we went there... Ashley didn't have it. Went to Algonquin location; and didn't have it there, either. Normal prices for this were $1499 and up.

Everything was great. I just sometimes wish that we could adventure around the building without people falling us. Love the new couch we are going to get. I also appreciated Brendan being so accommodating. My couch is going to be so comfortable to sit on and it fits the whole family.

Will never shop here again. We received our furniture last week and there is an issue with every piece. The chair was built upside down!!!! I have called multiple departments and even went into the store about the issues. The store made it seem like it was our fault for accepting the furniture. Paper work says we have 72 hours to report any issues after delivery. We had no choice considering we already got rid of our previous furniture the day before delivery. It’s been a week and still not a peep from anyone about fixing or replacing the furniture. Next step is the BBB. Do yourself a favor and get your furniture somewhere else. We will be going back to the store to get a refund for the protection plan since they can’t even get someone out for initial damage.

Brendan was who we got this time and he was just as good as Rosie was! Sad to see Rosie not there but happy to say that Brendan exceeded my expectations for this purchase thank you Brendan!! Princess was the sales associate that helped us purchase our dining room and living room sets. She was wonderful! Very patient, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE OR FROM ANY ASHLEY STORE! I purchase a living room set from this store in October 2022. The chair was delivered unwrapped, dirty and ripped. Delivery guys said to call customer service, which I did. It has been over 3 months now, several emails with attached photos of damaged chair, 13 calls to customer service, 2 conversations with supervisors, 1 trip to the Algonquin store to speak to a manager (which they stated that they could not help because it was not their store responsible, but another division) and 1 technician appointment in which he could not fix the chair because ASHLEY did not send the correct material. Customer Service will tell you someone will contact you but they never do. I don't know if contacting an attorney is the next step, which I think it is now. I paid for a new oversized chair and that is what I want and expect. The Algonquin, IL Store was happy to take my money, but not stand by what they sell. For your own sanity, Do not purchase from this store or any product from ASHLEY FURNITURE!

I went to Ashley furniture on Randall Road in Algonquin and met sales representative Rozy Gomez. Rozy was the most pleasant sales person that I’ve ever met and was not trying to make a hard sale which I enjoyed. I was in the store to buy a recliner and she showed me what I was looking for and with the matter of minutes I bought a new recliner. I would highly recommend this sales person and Ashley furniture to anyone.. I would be proud to have Rozy on my team anywhere I worked.

Worst customer service. I received a wobbly dining table which was not able to be repaired. I was told the part was not available and they would try to replace it. I tried calling and visiting the store multiple times for a resolution however I was told that my service call was pending every time until my warranty expired. Then they told me your claim was denied but they did not notify me and the warranty is now expired so nothing can be done.

I always hated going to furniture stores because of the sales people following you around. I feel pressure and anxiety. One reason I hate going to big furniture stores. However, this was a great experience for me. A sales rep came up to us, Eric, very nice. I was able to look at the whole selection of dining tables, and he was not following us around the whole time. Which made me feel so at ease. We finally found ‘the one’ I was able to approach him when we were ready, and he helped us right away. He helped us get the best price, and he was quick and to the point. I’m definitely coming back to get out next piece of furniture here. I really like the at ease feeling thins place was able to provide for me and the quick check out, with price comparison checks to make sure we were getting the best deal. We’ll Always come back to this Ashley! & thank you Eric for your help (and with the quick call back when I needed the measurements for our barstool cushions)

Uggh! Bought a bed for my kid, against my better judgement ( I've had issues with them before) and of course there's a problem. Everything was delivered fine, but some clown putting the handles on in the factory used a 2 ton drill because nothing would budge those cheap screws. The screws stripped so I got ahold of customer service- you'd think in a month of me harassing them I'd get things done. NOPE! So I had to go to the store and verbally request a fix. Paperwork was presented, but I'm still waiting for those handles.

I was not told that there are 2 types of shipping. The saleswoman just added the most expensive shipping without telling me there was a cheaper option. I would have went with the cheaper option as I can assemble the kitchen table myself. I didn’t find out about the other option until after I paid.

Couldn't have had a better experience at Ashley Furniture today! Brendan O'Neil was our sales associate. He was hands on, but also left my husband I alone to shop. Over all experience was fine was a little shaky at the end as the salesperson messed up on the numbers where it would have costed me an extra $900 but the manager made good on it I was impressed with them not letting me walk away without the deal.

Too long a story to type out all the details, but save yourself a year long headache and shop ELSEWHERE! I ordered furniture in 01/2022 that was sporadically delivered over the entire year and still being delivered into the beginning of 2023. None of which was of good quality when delivered. Ashley's delivery drivers LIED and said they left quality furniture when I refused delivery and I'm stuck here with trash thats wobbly and scratched/dinged up! Still waiting on a refund from 6 months ago as well. The white glove service you oay for is a joke. Not one person wore gloves or covered their feet. They track snow, mud, and/or dirt all over your house. They also like to park in your driveway and let their nasty trucks drip liquids all over. I am also contacting the BBB to file a legal complaint. I will also be requesting a refund through my credit card company. The online or phone help desk is of NO help either. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Would give NEGATIVE stars if I could!

Horrible, you confirmed the appointment 6 times and reconfirmed and if I didn't answer, you conveniently rescheduled due to back orders. The backorder was told to be 3 months and it ended up being a year and I paid in full. The driver finally came to deliver and rang the door bell and left and had to come back I have never had a worse experience. I also purchased a couch with this order (very expensive) and the whole ottoman foam is compromised and defective so now I have to do the whole process over again.

I will never buy from here again! I received items that were damaged. Contacted at delivery their customer service. They all have different answer and can’t even provide and accurate solution nor time frame of the when it will be fixed. The sales team are nice and good and sales. However, once you order and pay. They don’t care about their customers. Now I have to wait till the end of next month to even get my items fixed and not replaced. As I paid to get new items and damaged nor to be fixed. After spending few thousand dollars on items.

I had some questions so I asked Eric F and he was great at answering all of them and making me feel comfortable with my purchase. This was a painless process to go through. Would definitely recommend.

Wow. I DO NOT EVEN WANT TO POST ONE STAR. More like ZERO stars. My husband and I purchased a bedroom set + mattress for a little over 10K. The sale was made in JUNE and was not able to be delivered until December. I realize that seems to be common practice nowadays, so we didn't complain about the wait. We received a confirmation phone call two days prior to delivery stating that all of the pieces of our set were in, and we were scheduled for afternoon on the 20th. The morning of the 20th we were contacted by the delivery driver letting us know that they had everything except for the bed frame, and asked us if we still wanted what they had delivered. We had told the store FROM THE DAY WE ORDERED that we wanted it all at the same time. NOT DELIVERED IN PIECES. We would wait for it all together. Because we had confirmation of delivery on the 20th, we completely cleared out our old mattress and bedroom furniture to make room for the new set coming- WHICH NOW WE DO NOT HAVE. Spent the night it a hotel to find out we will not be getting a delivery the next day. We went in person to the Algonquin location where we purchased the set. They apologized, but also didn't seem to know what happened either. Nothing made sense. They somehow managed a new full set delivery for the next day (today.) The delivery did show up, but DAMAGED. The driver said that the bed frame looked like it had been repackaged and the screws were loose all inside. He had not seen anything delivered like this before. ‍(IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY TO THE HEADBOARD DAMAGE, the piece is NOT EVEN WOOD. It's PARTICLE BOARD.) Needless to say, we refused the delivery. We will be cancelling our order from this store and NOW WE HAVE NO FURNITURE IN OUR ROOM for Christmas. RIDICULOUS. To end it all, the drivers that we dealt with, whom were kind, but LEFT STYROFOAM all over our driveway as they left with the damaged (pre-used) bedroom set. Wow. Just wow. The whole experience was just horrible, maddening and EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT. We are upset and will NEVER EVER order from ASHLEY HOMESTORE again.

Update: I reached out to Customer Services as suggested in the company's comment back to me. It did not solve our problem or put me in contact with anyone who could make the issues right.Review: Do not shop here. You'll regret it. Let me give you the 'highlights' of the ordeal instead.For a bit of backstory, my parents decided to take their tax refund and use it towards a couch. They chose the Ashley Homestore where a salesperson sold them a mechanical couch that reclined with the press of a button and also charged USB devices. He also bought the extended warranty and asked repeatedly about the return policy because it was a floor model. The sales person reassured him if ANYTHING broke, it would be fixed.Fast forward to when the couch was delivered. It's installed, seems to be working. The delivery crew goes home. TWO DAYS LATER, the couch no longer reclines. The button you press does nothing and it's stuck in the recline position. Even though this happened two days after they installed it and clearly was a manufacturing defect, the crooks over at Ashley HomeStore said it was not returnable or exchangeable. They push to use the extended warranty for something that was clearly on the verge of breaking from delivery.So, my dad goes back and forth with Ashley's and the warranty people, who apparently aren't part of the company so much as partners in this cherade of 'customer service'. Guys come out, look at the couch, take pictures and... crickets. Nothing from them for week. My dad follows up. He's told that Ashley's refused the service and said that the couch my dad bought wasn't even supposed to be sold with a warranty due to it being a floor model. The salesman PUSHED for my dad to add that, by the way, for a couch that wasn't even supposed to be covered by it. So, the warranty repair people say my dad needs to work with Ashley's to get that refunded. More drama with Ashley's customer service team, including one manager who, when my dad brought up the hundreds of horrible ratings on the BBB site said, "oh, well, you know it's generally angry people who leave reviews like that." True statement, but when you have hundreds of unhappy customers, generally, they're telling the truth, Manager lady.In the end, we ended up with a broken couch and no refund. Ashley Homestore is a nightmare of a business to deal with. Do not consider t this location or any other Ashley Homestore location when buying anything for your home.

As I looked online for the item I was looking for and also checked same item on Amazon, went to the store to see in person. We decided to purchase, they price matched Amazon and were in and out of store in 30 minutes. Good service all around. Now we will see if delivery will be as good

Was excited to have my couch delivered on December 1. Plenty of time for Christmas! Well I received my new couch almost 3 weeks ago, there was an issue with one of the cushions. The delivery person assured me that the issue would be resolved in a few hours because it was very cold out & excessive creasing was caused by the way it was packed! Nope creases remain! Called that same day & have called the service department several times since then. No response still waiting to be contacted for repairs on a brand new $2k couch, called the store and spoke to the store operations manager Danielle who was very unprofessional and unhelpful. Once they sell you the couch it's not their problem do not buy from here please do not buy from here. They have a terrible return policy, which is not fair since they clearly delivered garbage. I'll have a guests over during the holidays & i will be thrilled to let them know where I bought it & they' will see the poor condition of a BRAND NEW COUCH! & be well informed of the poor customer service!! Hopefully they'll tell their friends....NOT TO SHOP AT ANY ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION. DO NOT DO IT.

By far the worst customer service experience I have had with any retail store. I had the same almost exact experience as Nick Hs review below as well as many of the other 1 star reviews. it seems like it is standard practice to move dates, furniture coming late with incorrect or no parts (Twin and Queen bed missing hardware, extra parts were ordered on delivery, only one set of those parts arrived, I have no date on the second set of parts as the order is "Missing" so they had to reorder those, which means the installers will have been to my home 3-4 times due to negligence and lack of follow through, this whole process has taken months and we are now in conversations with the bank to stop payment and recover money paid and no service or complete product received, issue is still not resolved. Initial order was in Oct 2022 Edit Update (Dec. 17 2022): Instillation of the first bed was supposed to happen today, but after calling the store, corporate and customer service, I was again told the installation ticket placed a week ago was lost, and that I would need to have a new ticket for the twin bed I purchased. I now have no date for installation of that bed. I again had to get a new parts order for the second bed, and have no confirmation on delivery of those parts, and/or installation of that bed I have asked to speak with the store director about the ongoing issues, but was told by the associate at the Algonquin store that he would not be able to help, and was never able to contact him or leave a message 1/25/23 - Still an ongoing issue, we have not received parts yet, and the furniture is not installed. 2/22/23 - The contractor came to install the furniture today, and discovered more missing parts, this issue is still ongoing.

This is the 2nd time in the last couple years we have purchased new furniture for our home at the Algonquin Ashley store. They have a great variety of things to choose from, friendly and knowledgeable staff and will even price match if you find your item for less someplace different. In my case they even price matched twice!!! I would highly recommend shopping at Ashely for your home needs.

If your product feels too firm and is causing discomfort, it can help to raise your room temperature to soften the material a bit. If your room temperature cannot be adjusted or raising the temperature does not help, you may add a topper to your mattress to provide a more plush/soft touch to your mattress. This additional layer of Tempur material can provide a softer layer of comfort. After looking around, we asked Rosie about other choices and she led us to some items which we loved. We wound up purchasing and had a great time talking during the paperwork process. Absolutely horrible. Gave window of 12-3 for delivery .called to cancel and and cancelled delivery due to I had to work at 4. Customer service told me I couldnt have my 17 yr. Old son sign for it. I get to work and some other rep called and I cancelled again. 10 mins. Later they are at my door having my 17 yr. Sign just so they can get the delivery in and have me pay for it. Spoke with the corporate office and said they couldnt get it returned. The deliver team didnt even set it up or remove the garbage. And so I am now paying for some I so do not want. Ashley furniture are scam artists. And just think I was going to purchase a leather couch and new master bedroom set. Steer clear of Ashley.

The only reason this isn't five stars is because it took FOUR MONTHS for our product to be delivered. The salesperson was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. Sales transaction was simple for a livingroom set. The delivery was smooth as silk. Their team was on time and got everything set up in less than 15 minutes! And that was with my delivery being in the middle of the day! If these two actions weren't May 22nd and October 5th, this would've been perfect!

I'd like to thank Ashley Furniture for selling me a terrible mattress frame. It wobbled constantly and made me actually feel ill to my stomach sleeping in. I had called to return it, but that was just one step of many in this nightmare. This store had told me to call corporate for a refund, but corporate said they can't do that and I have to call the local store. I called this store back for them to say they can't do refunds and don't care how ill I feel from it . I started a complaint with BBB and someone higher up called me; this only led to phone tag for a while where they too were fine with me feeling ill if that means they can keep my money. Eventually BBB even gave up on the claim saying it was perfectly fine for Ashely to sell defective products and force the buyer to keep them. Obviously they wouldn't support the customer since we know where BBB gets their money from... Anyway, feel free to purchase from them if you want to treated subpar and get stuck with a several thousand dollar paperweight.

Irena was our salesperson. She was very patient with us, on our 3 hour furniture finding mission. I think we walked around their spacious interior about 4-5 times! It was their newest location in Algonquin, and they had a great selection for our needs. The one piece that we were VERY lucky to find was a patio set that was out of season that was 40% off. That really will help our 3-season porch to feel more homey. All of the pieces that we purchased are amazing and we are excited to come back to furnish other parts of our home.

My first and only time shopping Ashley furniture was horrible. We purchased furniture for a new house. They sold us furniture, set up delivery and after we left messed everything up. The salesman messed up our order several times and ordered us the incorrect item several times. Our dinning room table was sold to us but was out of stock. We were told that they don’t know what is in stock until they go to load their truck and see whether it is there or not. It has been 3 months and I’m finally getting it however they don’t delivery it when they say they will do make sure you don’t do anything all day because they will make you wait. This place is a joke.

Customer service is horrible. I ordered my table on 3/4/22. It was supposed to be delivered in July and it PART of my table just got delivered on 9/19/22. After two mistakes with scheduling the delivery it finally came only to have part of the table base missing. The delivery company guys were great. They called customer service for me to report the missing item but then they were useless and couldn’t tell me if they had another (complete) base in stock. Additionally, they overcharged me for the 5 year warranty. My original order from March included a coffee table and 2 end tables and the warranty covered those items as well. Those items didn’t come timely so I cancelled them from my order (found the identical coffee table on Amazon for less). I was told multiple times since cancelling those items in April that the store would be contacting me to correct the warranty amount. Never happened and when I asked customer service yesterday she again said I had to call the store. I asked how to contact the store because the store number goes back to their central customer service center. Then she tells me that I’m right and there’s no way for me to call the actual store. So now I have to go back to the store to correct the warranty change. And I still have no idea when I will have a complete kitchen table. Very unhappy with Ashley.

Ordered in January. Still haven’t received the order. Everyone lying and customer service sucks. The staff at the store is completely lost too. Trash company.

Terrible customer service. We got white gloves delivery for our sectional sofa set. They rushed through the whole process. All legs are crooked. One is so severe that only one side touch the floor. Spending 3 days trying to get they fixed/replaced. Every single person I talked to said they could not help and told me to call another department (customer service told me to talk to the sale representative, sale person told me to call the customer service.) Had to repeat my stories at least 10 times so far. STILL NOT GET ANY HELP!!! Will definitely never get anything from this store/company ever again!

Terrible place. First said 0% interest then the papers say nearly 30% interest. Deal was off at that point. When confronted the Associate claims they cannot open the safe. rightful legal action will take place if not solved.

do not buy in this store the furniture is garbage they sell you insurance that does not cover anything they only steal your money

The sales person who helped us was great. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. But it took so long to finish the paperwork. They could have done better.

Taylor, Rozi and Justin were spot on! I’d almost given up on Ashley Furniture altogether. However, these three were great. Their knowledge of the mattresses and their attentiveness were just what I needed after such a terrible experience with the Ashley store in Rockford. It was a relief to do business with real professionals! Thank you for helping me select the perfect mattress and base and also making me feel great about my hour drive there. I’d do it again and will never step foot in Ashley’s in Rockford, IL again. Thank you again!!

Tom is an absolute legend. Great service, picked up on queues to give space and was a professional throughout the experience. Unfortunate to hear that he is quitting. He didn't say why but I would figure that the Manager Neal publicly yelling at an employee on the floor was extremely unprofessional and quite honestly... how is he a Manager? That is management 101... Good luck Neal, suggest treating people the way you would want to be treated.

I worked directly with Manager Nadia in the Algonquin location, and the experience was excellent. She was professional and courteous. I highly recommend Ashley for anyone attempting to buy furniture.

Warren was explained details of products & told us differences. Asked us to try on. Measured sizes, showed different products & brands. Very patient & courteous. After I met him, I went other store then made my mind how much I pay I will buy from him. I am going back to store by other product from him. He wrote down item number & told me can make transaction by email. Pleasant & helpful. Thank to him I got good price too. Wonderful experience!

Erica Guzman was very accommodating she actually moved one chair next to a similar one so I could compare them before selecting one to buy. She explained billing and warranties; she checked to see about delivery dates as I am traveling soon. I am hoping I will be as satisfied with the chair when it is delivered

DO NOT SHOP ASHLEY’s! Placed an order 1/2022 just received order & missing part of my bedroom set. Drove to the store to talk to someone in person, they said my bedset is discontinued ! They would not take back my bed frame, I am stuck with it! If they had the it at another location I’d have to pick it up they wouldn’t even ship it to me!
