When we arri v ed he greeted us promptly and after we gave a brief description of what we were shopping for, he took us to that area and described several items. I went to Ashley furniture store last week looking for a bedroom set. I was greeted by Taha with a big smile and no-pressure assistance. He showed me around to what I was looking for and explained how things worked, how they fit together, and what they cost. The store was large, beautiful, and busy but quiet. They have a beautiful large search board where I was able to enter parameters and search for items I didn't see at first glance. Taha let me try out potential selections and gave me plenty of space to roam by myself. I contacted my wife at home via cell phone and sent her pictures with which she helped me make selections. Delivery is expected at possibly 6 weeks which is longer than I hoped for but Taha is watching for incoming components which I may be able to get sooner. While I was there I looked at some other furniture such as kitchen furnishings and was excited about the offerings and reasonable prices. I made a fairly large purchase and will probably go back for other items as needed. Big thank you to Taha, the manager, and all the team I met that day.

I loved the choices I had to pick from. And a very quick process. I will be back for a queen bed at a later date.

1 star for sales technique (think pushy car salesman) and for pushing delivery back (we had to call or we would still be waiting) We paid for white glove. Guys were nice, but our bedframe broke 3 days later. They skipped 20 screws in frame plus a major screw. So now we have to fix ourselves. And we had to go pick up our table and chairs and put them together , because they refused to do a partial delivery unless we paid again. To top it off we tipped them $50 each, because they were nice and appeared to have did good work. We spent $3700 Shout out to Stevie the assistant gallery manager for fixing some of the problems. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An honest review regarding Bloomington location. My first visit was nice Amber took the time to show me all recliners. 2nd day went back to show spouse what recliner was selected but before I went to the store. I noticed on line the price in store was 1199.00 and on line was 899.00 when I asked about the difference was told pricing was based on zip code. That was a shock but decided to proceed. Then informed them while visiting web site I recieved a 50 Dollar coupon that could be used online or in store. Was informed I could not use coupon. Then later informed I could. Needless to say we left and went to another furniture store and won't be back. Super shady and rude.

Great sales staff. First place since shopping for furniture that we were treated as a valued customer and not as a commission. They are not just a 5 star but a 10 star in my opinion. Above was my initial review of 5 stars, not sure even 1 is warranted. When I bought my bedroom furniture, I asked if they move existing furniture to set up new furniture, I was told yes. Upon delivery, that was not the case, when I called the store about the discrepancy they said for an additional $159 per piece they could. Nothing like a bait and switch, I would not have purchased from them otherwise, as I am not able to move the furniture myself, or arranged to have someone to move them. My mattress was delivered by another business which was more than happy to move the bed at no charge plus free delivery. I will not be purchasing from Ashley's again.

Sold us a mattress that we believed would have a try-out period, but made zero effort to advise us of the paperwork we apparently needed to sign in order to have that option. When we called to say the mattress wasn't working for us, we basically got "sorry-not sorry, you're just out of luck", and zero response to our request to talk to the salesman we originally dealt with. Will definitely not shop here again.

The worst experience you can ever imagine. Went in and decided to buy a set of nightstand and a dresser. Next day we changed our minds because they waited until we signed the receipt to tell us that it would be 3 weeks before we would get our furniture. We called the next day and they said they were already assembling our furniture and they were going to charge us 210 dollars to restock the furniture this was the second day after we bought it. There was no way that they had started on the furniture, but still threatened me with a 30% fee. DONT GO STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS.

After Covid I noticed a huge decline within most retail stores customer service and engagement. Ashley’s location in Bloomington was very different. Stevie helped my husband and I and he was wonderful to work with. We ended up purchasing a table we had our eye on and he found us a great price and explained the delivery and warranty process very thoroughly. We also looked at couches and I was very indecisive. Stevie was very patient and observant of what we liked. He made appropriate recommendations and even took the time to show us with a store model how our couch would look if we built it ourselves. It should not take 3 weeks to have an ETA for something that is "in stock" and another 2 weeks to get delivered. Also, I live in a rural town where Ashley can only deliver to on Fridays. This would have been nice to know ahead of time since I had to schedule off work. Overall, the local Ashley teams, 5 stars. Ashley corporate office, 1 star.

There were issues. Got most of them fixed. Stop screwing this annoying crap onto furniture though. I have no way to get this off. Absolutely hate that you needed to wreck my furniture by screwing a string that holds warranty info and additional screws/pieces. Did this on my dresser and my night stand. Update: Guy came by and fixed it. I'm impressed with Ashley's customer service in reviewing my initial review quickly.

However, when buying from my home phone in Florida for my home in Bloomington IL the store was not at all accommodating in making their advertised zero interest financing available to me. I was forced to provide a credit card or option two - fly to Bloomington to sign a document. Extremely dated procedure which really needs to be updated as to be competitive in today’s retail environment.

I placed an order the beginning of November and was promised delivery Dec 14, 2024. I called to inquire about the time of delivery on Dec 11 and I wasn’t even on the delivery list. So they can deliver on Dec 28- that is our Christmas and I wanted the furniture by Christmas. So I asked about picking it up myself - well they didn’t have all the pieces - have to see if they can get all the pieces in. I said if I’m going out of my way to get my furniture I hope you do something for me- Well it was a challenge for them to get all my furniture in but I can pick it up Friday anytime between 9-2. Oh nice we work! Oh and I forgot to add they were gonna give me a credit of 100 put my delivery fee back! How nice! I will NEVER EVER set foot in an Ashley furniture store again! This was so unprofessional. Never again! Not with Ashley!!

I’m really hoping this is the only review and day I have to return to this location. On November 19th, I decided on a couch I planned to purchase. I noticed that the Black Friday sales had already been displayed for certain furniture/couches besides the one I picked in particular. Just to be sure, I asked an employee if that couch was gonna go on sale as well, but they told me no and that the sales going on are what they have. I proceeded with the purchase anyways because I liked the couch. As someone who loves to decorate and buy items at a reasonable price, I looked at the Ashley Furniture site today on Black Friday and saw THE COUCH I PURCHASED JUST LAST WEEK ON SALE! I went to the store November 29th to see what could be done for the price adjustment and some of the staff members at the bloomington, Illinois location are giving me a strange look, yet not saying anything. Sean White, was very understanding of my situation and sent me to a lady by the name Carl Runyon to correct the amount I paid. Correct me if I got her name wrong. She sat on the other side of the front desks closer to the entrance. She didn’t say a word to me, but her face said enough. I began to ask questions regarding my money and she responded in a non customer service manner. That was just off of one question. I began to ask more questions just so I didn’t have to return. I asked for a printed copy of my receipt just for confirmation and she tells me it’s emailed. I ask for a physical copy and she walks off without saying a word to print the ONE SHEET OF PAPER as if it’s a pain to do...

Purchased a sofa from here recently and LOVE it! I did want to address something though. When I went in to purchase my sofa, I had declined the warranty at the time but my sales person said she would contact me the next day she worked just to double check on whether or not I wanted to added it. Never followed up, and I was actually interested in adding it on. To add onto that, she ordered the sofa, I wanted in the wrong color but told me they would reach out the following day with the invoice for the correct product. They never did. I eventually had to end up reaching out myself to make sure they got the order corrected. ALSO, they never reached out to set up a pick up time for my sofa like they said they would. I reached out the day before it was supposed to be delivered to the warehouse to set up my own pick up time. As a customer, I feel as though the customer service was subpar at best and that after they collected all my money for my product, they could care less about the rest of the sales process.

He gave me multiple estimates and measurements and I still never purchased anything. I came in today to look for a sectional I saw online and they had a floor model and knew it was the one. Once again Stevie helped me with measurements and was patient while I sat on the couch for I’m not sure how long,left the store came back with measurements etc! The only criticism I have is Ashley marketing interest free financing. They avoid to let you know there is a down payment required before qualifying for interest free financing. Bought a recliner set with a warranty. When it broke they told me they no longer carried the model so therefore couldn’t honor said warranty. They gave me $100 bux refund on the warranty and stuck me with broken recliners. never again

Just purchased a sofa from Ashley today. The online price was 400.00 less than the in store price and I greatly appreciate the fact that Ashley honors the online price. Steve the sales person was super nice and very efficient, he had me all set up for delivery and ready to go in no time. It's been several years since I last purchased something from Ashley but will continue to purchase from them in the future oh and I love the sofa!

Had a great experience at first. the sales rep was very helpful. When our furniture arrived, ( I had delivery to the door) my kids brought it in, we opened the boxes and the whole bottom of the chair was broken, along with the ottoman ripped at corner, plastic table portion cracked. Called and sent pictures. Was told I would have to bring them back, that I did not pay for "the white glove" delivery. I had no idea what was. She stated it was in my contract, ok, well, I am visually impaired and figured I was signing a receipt. The only thing she offered was to have the parts shipped to me, then once I received them, call and set up a time the repairman would come fix them. More than 2 months later, they came to fix it. The repairman was very pleasant, repaired everything well. My issue is the lack of customer service. Never once an apology, an offer for anything, a damn throw pillow something. I won't go back.

Dave helped me pick out 2 recliners and an ottoman. He was super helpful and was patient the whole time my mom and I fussed about color matching and patterns. If you go to Ashley, ask for Dave. He will get you taken care of every step of the way! Thanks Dave😁

Zach is the man. We came in kinda undecided on what we were wanting. He looked us in the eye and told us what we were needing and how we were gonna get it done. He took my choice paralysis and ADHD-riddled mind and laid down the law on what would be best for what we were wanting. And when we were looking into optional accessories to make the purchase work better for our design choices, he grabbed a cushion from a different couch set altogether and brought it to our choice so we could see if the ottoman color option would work with the choice we wanted. The initiative and let's get it done attitude was the icing on the cake for the whole experience.

David at Ashley furniture was very helpful from the time we walked in to the time we left! I would highly recommend them!

I am only making it 5 stars because I want everyone to read this. Please do not purchase from this store. At first we had help from Zachery and it all went well. Then our furniture got delayed. We made another agreement to have it shipped to our house on May 14th or we would like to cancel and get our down payment back. He agreed and let us know he put us down for that date. Well 14th of May comes up. We cleared our day out and made sure we stayed home to wait for our sofa to arrive. We noticed there was no text or call from anyone. So finally it was around 2 and we called, texted no answer. We went to the store and asked about the sofa. Turns out he never changed it to the 14th and made it for the 18th without telling us. The communication was awful. Then we asked to cancel and refund, they told us they couldn’t do it since the manager was gone but that they did cancel it. The next day Zach calls us asking if we still wanted the sofa. We were confused the day before they had said they cancelled it? So now they are stating that the only way we can cancel is to give them 30% of the money. The manager then told us we can go down to 15%… like that makes things better. Even though they were in the wrong. I wouldn’t have minded waiting 4 more days but the customer service was horrible. They had no regards for people’s time and hard earned money. They took our money, wasted our time and no sofa…

Spent a fortune on a tempurpedic bed that was to deliver 3-23-24. It is 3-22-24 and I had to call them to see what time they will be showing up tomorrow to find out that they rescheduled it for 4-13-24 with NO notification. 3 MORE weeks - absolutely ridiculous. A Big thank you to Jerry for making it happen. I am going to sleep well now.
