I placed an order the beginning of November and was promised delivery Dec 14, 2024. I called to inquire about the time of delivery on Dec 11 and I wasn’t even on the delivery list. So they can deliver on Dec 28- that is our Christmas and I wanted the furniture by Christmas. So I asked about picking it up myself - well they didn’t have all the pieces - have to see if they can get all the pieces in. I said if I’m going out of my way to get my furniture I hope you do something for me- Well it was a challenge for them to get all my furniture in but I can pick it up Friday anytime between 9-2. Oh nice we work! Oh and I forgot to add they were gonna give me a credit of 100 put my delivery fee back! How nice! I will NEVER EVER set foot in an Ashley furniture store again! This was so unprofessional. Never again! Not with Ashley!!

Met Stevie as soon as we walked in the door, (didn’t get that kind of welcome at the competition) answered all our questions and made sure we were happy with our purchase. Very happy we purchased from Ashley today!

I’m really hoping this is the only review and day I have to return to this location. On November 19th, I decided on a couch I planned to purchase. I noticed that the Black Friday sales had already been displayed for certain furniture/couches besides the one I picked in particular. Just to be sure, I asked an employee if that couch was gonna go on sale as well, but they told me no and that the sales going on are what they have. I proceeded with the purchase anyways because I liked the couch. As someone who loves to decorate and buy items at a reasonable price, I looked at the Ashley Furniture site today on Black Friday and saw THE COUCH I PURCHASED JUST LAST WEEK ON SALE! I went to the store November 29th to see what could be done for the price adjustment and some of the staff members at the bloomington, Illinois location are giving me a strange look, yet not saying anything. Sean White, was very understanding of my situation and sent me to a lady by the name Carl Runyon to correct the amount I paid. Correct me if I got her name wrong. She sat on the other side of the front desks closer to the entrance. She didn’t say a word to me, but her face said enough. I began to ask questions regarding my money and she responded in a non customer service manner. That was just off of one question. I began to ask more questions just so I didn’t have to return. I asked for a printed copy of my receipt just for confirmation and she tells me it’s emailed. I ask for a physical copy and she walks off without saying a word to print the ONE SHEET OF PAPER as if it’s a pain to do...

Purchased a sofa from here recently and LOVE it! I did want to address something though. When I went in to purchase my sofa, I had declined the warranty at the time but my sales person said she would contact me the next day she worked just to double check on whether or not I wanted to added it. Never followed up, and I was actually interested in adding it on. To add onto that, she ordered the sofa, I wanted in the wrong color but told me they would reach out the following day with the invoice for the correct product. They never did. I eventually had to end up reaching out myself to make sure they got the order corrected. ALSO, they never reached out to set up a pick up time for my sofa like they said they would. I reached out the day before it was supposed to be delivered to the warehouse to set up my own pick up time. As a customer, I feel as though the customer service was subpar at best and that after they collected all my money for my product, they could care less about the rest of the sales process.
