a lot of furniture display compared to other branch and salesman Clark Smith really help us and gave us options. Very accommodating and helpful.

This was the worst shopping experience I have ever had. I came into to look at a sectional, and an employee quickly told me their price is $3,899 and she would do everything she could to get us the lowest possible price if I filled out a credit application. I told her we could simply pay in cash if we make a purchase and we don’t need to apply for credit, but she insisted that we need the number on the last page of the credit submission to get the best price. I have great credit, so I know that had no bearing on the poor offer I received. I was offered $800 off, which I later found out is the advertised price of the exact piece of furniture on the Ashley website! So after all of this hassle, it turns out the amazing deal this representative had to talk to her manager about was list price on the website. Following that, there was going to be a $350 delivery fee and sales tax, essentially nullifying the discount. They refused to go any lower, I assume to protect the salespersons commission. I went home and ordered the same exact set from a local store for $2,724, delivery and tax included. I saved over $1,000 by not shopping at this store, but now I have to close a credit card account I never wanted and was entirely misled about. I will never step foot in an Ashley store again, and neither should you.

I usually enjoy shopping at Ashley, but my experience at this location was disappointing. The associate, Raj, greeted us quickly when we walked in and immediately told us he was the best salesperson in the store. However, once we started looking at furniture, he disappeared. He didn’t come back to help until another associate stepped in to answer our questions. It wasn’t that he was busy—he was standing in the middle of the store talking with coworkers and a manager. When he finally spoke with me and my wife, he used what felt like a cheesy sales tactic, saying things like, “They must have made a mistake on this price because it’s too cheap. I’ll have to confirm, but you’re getting a great deal.” Then he immediately asked for my information. After a few minutes, he came back and told us we couldn’t use our Ashley card because the price was “too good.” He then added that my address didn’t match, said it might be flagged as fraud, and insisted that for that reason we couldn't use the card anyway. I didn’t need to justify myself, but I explained that we recently moved from Wisconsin and just closed on a house, which is why the addresses didn’t match. I even offered to call Synchrony to verify it on the spot. He said, “No, don’t worry about verifying—we still can’t use the card.” So I asked him to get his manager. Suddenly, the card was acceptable after all. He kept us there asking for unnecessary information, and the whole situation became irritating. I understand fraud prevention is important, but the way it was handled felt unprofessional. If someone were using a stolen credit card, they wouldn’t be bargain shopping. The gentleman who tried to help us was good, and I wish he would of been our associate from the start. I’m sure there are good employees at this location, but this experience with Raj was disappointing, and I hope the store provides better training.

Terrible experience. The salesman , Bolingbrook, IL once sold us the pieces stopped answering our calls, which is expected from a non professional ones. The furniture pieces arrived broken and the delivery guys told us to contact Ashley techs, it has been now 2 months of going back and forth and nothing fixed. After a month and half waiting on the tech, I received a call saying we can’t fix it but will order a piece for u and that will take more time to arrive and they canceled the appt. So be ready if you get furniture from ashley to receive the worst customer service from the local store and plan ahead so if u wanna use ur furniture in 2029, order it now, as they will take their time to schedule and cancel and order pieces. So disappointed

I mean wow…. Omar Arman is definitely the man to go to . Me and my wife walked in not having a single idea of what we wanted and he helped us with EVERYTHING . If you ever get the chance to go to Ashley in Bolingbrook I would definitely recommend you to speak to Omar Arman
