I placed an order for a couch and a couple recliners. During the sales pitch we were told that it could take 12-16 weeks, but probably would not. When I was actually purchasing them, I was told 16-20 weeks or more. I was also told after a couple weeks I could call and they could give me a better idea of when my items would be ready. I did check and was told someone would get back to me, however nobody has. I get it that all furniture stores have long lead times, but don't tell me one thing while trying to make the sale then another when finalizing it and then lie about being able to get updates.
I have to be honest, I didn't purchase a thing here. I just moved to the area and asked if they would honor a warranty repair on a Flexsteel recliner. I had talked to where I bought it and they assured me anyone could honor the warranty and I would have to pay for labor. I was told by an employee at Turks they could not honor the warranty since I didn't purchase it there. I explained I had purchased it 100 miles away and could not take it back to the place that easily and that the place where I purchased it assured me that anyone who sold Flexsteel would repair it. Anywhere but here I guess. She initially thought I was referring to an extended warranty that I purchased from a store, but I explained it was a Flexsteel warranty repair. Too bad because we just purchased a home and need lots of new furniture and I figure that phone call just cost Turks about 10,000.
Sales reps are no good. Commission hungry. Make the sale buddy now u got nothing from me. On his end it was probably about 40 bucks Commission and now he has a big fat 0
