I ordered a recliner chair by phone and my experience was very pleasant.Andrea was very helpful and friendly.

The store is at the highest level, a large assortment of furniture, high-quality products, reasonable prices, pleasant and highly qualified staff🫶🏻👍🙌

Store could not send mattress cover with bed I ordered!

George was an awesome help for the entire experience!

Everyone there was super nice.George helped me with my furniture. I walked in and was greated at the door by George. I saw a particular couch online that I absolutely loved but they didn't have it. But George showed me one that was similar. I didn't get it that Thursday when I was originally there however; Saturday when the whole family was able to come and look at it I did get it along with some other thing's. The prices to me was a little bit over priced to my liking. But at 1st glance the stuff looks pretty good.The other guy I believe his name was Alex showed me how to do the finance part which was very easy because he walked me thru it. And the manger or supervisor was able to help finish everything else up. The guys there was super nice and patient. I love everything I picked out and I'll check back and give you a picture of all the things I picked out. Some things are coming next Saturday and the rest is coming on the 14th of March.

I do not usually like furniture stores as the Sales Person would hover way to much while I'm looking. I liked the fact that walking through the door I was greeted and I explained I wanted to look around and the salesperson respected that and was then available when I was ready for them. I am happy with my purchase.

Our sales person was amazing but he sold us on insurance for our dinning room table . Let me tell you, this insurance is not worth it we tried to file a claim and they denied it. Save yourself a few by NOT getting the insurance. The claim was for a small burn that a pizza box left when placed in it…

In-store service was great. It deserves zero star but can't go less than one to write a review. The one star is due to the out of store customer service if. Upon delivery we were advised that our furniture would not be able to fit the staircase with only two people carrying it and should decline the order. We declined the order and requested a refund on 24 Nov 25. 2 Dec followed up with Ashley Customer Service and found out that order was not cancelled. The agent created a ticket to cancel the order and another ticket to request a refund. 4 Dec received a text that my order is on the way. Declined the order again. 18 Dec, called number on invoice which I thought was the store and routed to customer service and the agent said he couldn't help and gave me a different number to call. That agent sent an email "allegedly" to elevate the issue, and I should hear something by the end of business day. 19 Dec called again, only notes on my account have been from 2 Dec and my order is still not cancelled, which is why a refund has not been issued. Every call I have asked to speak to a supervisor, and they have either not been in yet or otherwise busy.  I have not had an issue before but this is just absurd. Edit: the number provided in your response was concerning it was still customer service and now my fifth person that I had to explain what was going on. Even more concerning I was getting the same responses. Only positive I was transferred to the 6th person from Ashley to actually get this done. (Maybe we will see if I see it back in my bank) There is something in your cancelation/refund process that is severely broken.

Please use me as a cautionary tale. Whatever you do, do not buy furniture of any kind from this Ashley or any other. Not only is it over priced and low quality, they delivered damaged furniture not once, twice, even three times. FOUR times in a row they showed up with furniture that was damaged. Dealing with their customer service is a nightmare and they do nothing to try and fix their mistakes. As if this wasn’t enough, after about a year of owning our bedroom set, we discovered there were powder post beetles living in the wood. We then learned this is a recurring problem with Ashley. Once again, they refused any kind of assistance or refund. We eventually had to throw out thousands of dollars worth of furniture or risk an infestation in our house. Please, do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture. Ever. I am not one to post negative reviews, but felt people need to be warned. This place is the worst customer service you will ever experience, and their crappy furniture will only cost you money and headaches.

Purchased the ishanti bedroom set and it is completely infested with powderpost beetles. Wasted thousands of dollars I don’t have. Quick google search of “Ashley Furniture PowderPost beetles” and tons of other people dealing with the exact same issue. Multiple people who purchased the exact same bedroom set also finding the beetles and holes. Not only disgusting but also terrified that this wood eating beetle has spread into my wood floors of my first home.

I would avoid this place at all costs, especially if you’re using Acima. The manager, Nicole, does not return phone calls, and the Hispanic sales associate (I forgot his name) added a protection plan to my account that I did not ask for. When I tried to have it removed, they avoided my calls completely. I’ve been trying to reach the manager multiple times, and of course, she never returned my call. This store is awful. They add protection plans likely because they receive some type of commission and then make it nearly impossible to correct the issue. Do not shop at the Broadview location. It has been the biggest scam experience I’ve had with a furniture store.

I went Ashley furniture to purchase my new living room set on 11/10/2025. I was excited to used my coupons I had. The sales agent said we have to verify the coupon still works so we have to put your order on lay-away and once the coupons gets verified in 2 days then it will be a order and you will get a shipping day. Then 5 days later on 11/15/2025 the sales agent calls me to come to the Ashley store because I have to sign for the order. Then in two days I will get a shipping day and time. Then on 11/20/2025 my couches are delivered and are still left in plastic inside my house and didn't install the legs. I call Ashley furniture if the delivery guys can return to install the legs. Ashley furniture said the waiver was signed and your instructions were not to take the plastic off. My son misunderstood my instructions to him. But Ashley furniture delivery guys were outside by my house. They couldn't do an exception to come back. Thank you Ashley Furniture for a unpleasant experience. Not shopping here again!

Due to the system updating, there were computer issues. I had to leave my information in paper and when I left I received a call saying the system was working. I was asked to come back but I was already too far to turn around. The young lady that helped me gave me a percentage off which is a plus.

Please avoid this location, at least for mattresses. Worked with Sales Rep Lorenzo Ortiz. I can say he really put on a show to sell me a tempur-pedic mattress ( jumped On the mattress and everything) I went in there looking at matresses and was leaning more towards a stearns and foster mattress but told me to try the tempur pedic and gave me a whole talk about how this is the best mattress for back pains and his wife is NP he really made me feel like I could trust him. He even stated it’s easier to go from a tempur pedic to a stearns and foster if you don’t like it.!!! FALSE!!!! The stearns and foster is less expensive so if you opt to it YOU DONT GET A REFUND FOR THE DIFFERENCE!!!! I also asked him is there a restocking fee if I opt to exchange it, again this man lied to my face and said “No there is no restocking fee”!! It’s a $99 fee to exchange!! Never mentioned that I had to keep the mattress for 30days before I could exchange it. Which that’s my own fault for not doing the homework. I had also called him initially when I didn’t like the tempur pedic (firm) I initially got and I asked him again over the phone if I opt for the medium tempur pedic and I still don’t like that one, can i go to the stearns and foster he said “yes” that’s no problem you just call the 855 number. AGAIN FALSE!!! YOU ONLY GET ONE EXCHANGE!!! I also called to have a manager call me back and no one has reached back out. Honestly I would avoid this location at all costs. If your in the market for a tempur pedic buy it directly from tempur pedic If you don’t like the mattress with them they actually refund you unlike buying it from Ashley furniture!!!! $7500 down the trash!!!! Idk how these sales reps have the conscience to do this.! Thank you Lorenzo Ortiz!!!!

If you want to buy a extremely expensive mattress, have the wrong one delivered to your house, get explained that the sales representative LUIS sold you the wrong mattress, get told that since the mattress is in your house they can't return it cuz of policy, call the store manager ALEX for him to hang up on you while saying "I don't want to deal with you anymore", call corporate for a span of a month, and get stuck with something you didn't pay for.... this is the perfect store for you! ... I've never dealt with more deceptive consumer practice, disrespect, and horrible customer service from every aspect in my life. Ashley please get a manager in this store that doesn't treat customers the way my family was treated. You might have better luck if you have fairer skin but what do I know. EDIT** after talking to corporate and agreeing to a refund with a sent email as proof of getting a refund, on the day they were supposed to pick up the mattress and refund us the money, you never will believe what the STORE MANAGER OF ASHLEY IN BROADVIEW, IL DID. Yes, the manager of this store named ALEX canceled the request for a refund once again! He has done this twice in the time frame of one month! On the phone call where we talked on 10/08/25, he agreed to not cancel the refund request again and then proceeded to hang up on me. But once again ALEX has canceled the refund request. I don't know a more unprofessional business I've dealt with ever.

This company is horrible. I've spent several thousands of dollars over the past few months, furnishing a dwelling solely from Ashley Furniture. I called concerning a defective sofa for which I purchased a warranty. My calls were never returned and everyone I spoke with gave me the run-around. When I finally got a technician to come repair the sofa, he fixed one section of the sofa (suport beam), and broke another! I have never been able to schedule another technician. The warranty is just a way for the company to make additional money. I will never again shop at any Ashley Furniture location. They should not receive any stars. I only gave them 1 star so that the review could be posted. Please, spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!

We found what we felt was the right den furniture, but the next day, decided we wanted something different. Making the changes to our order turned out to be a positive experience. Scott was very helpful with the changes. We would recommend Ashley in Broadview for your furniture choices. It's important to be treated well by a staff that understands what you need and is willing to make sure the end result is what you planned on!

This location is excellent, and (sales person) Ms. Flynn ROCKS! However, Ashley Furniture as a company leaves a lot to be desired. I began shopping at Ashley in 2015 and have purchased from several different locations. In this year alone (2025), I have purchased NINE PIECES of furniture from them. However, the last item (sofa... 4/10/2025) I purchased was defective, and it took me forever to get a furniture repair technician to my home. I did not notice the defects ("bowing" of the rear support beam, unevenly spaced feet, a slight imbalance in the seating surface) as the sofa was being set-up. However, they were noticed later on the same day as delivery. Having purchased the furniture protection plan, I called Ashley immediately. I was given the run-around, and first asked to send photos, then asked to send additional photos, and then asked to send a video; all separate requests over the course of a few weeks, and I always had to call them back, as Ashley reps never return phone calls. When the Ashley customer service team did send someone out, he was a random "handy man", and NOT a true furniture repair technician. He was very unprofessional, never stated his name (I had to ask), never explained what he was doing, and while he fixed the broken rear support beam in the sofa, he off-set the arms to a greater degree than they were, and threw them out of alignment! I have called Ashley warranty department several times, speaking with Crystal, Christina, and William, only to get the run around. They make empty promises, and they never call you back like they promise. William stated he would close out the first repair ticket, and call me 24 hours later to open a new one for what the bogus handy-man broke, and I never heard from William or anyone else again. I re-order the same sofa, hoping for a non-defective item. Ashley was willing to deliver the new item, yet not willing to move the defective item to the curb! Come on, how are older people, single people, and/or disabled people going to receive new furniture, if the company that they purchase from is not willing to move the old furniture out so that the new can be moved in??? The former delivery teams in early 2025 and years past, moved the old out and the new in; yet the guys who delivered the last sofa informed me that they are instructed to "deliver and set-up only". They even called their supervisor, who confirmed this foolishness to me! This greatly reduces the Ashley customer base. Thus, I returned the item and requested a refund, which I had to call several times to receive. I made what minimal repairs I could to the defective sofa, am enduring it, and I try not to sit on it. I have spent A LOT of money with Ashley over the years. And now I will NEVER shop there again and I tell everyone I know to shop elsewhere. TAKE-AWAYS/LESSONS LEARNED 1. Never purchase a furniture protection plan. If something happens to the item, you are much more likely to find a legitimate furniture repair technician via Google, Chat GPT, or word-of-mouth. Ashley contracts with random people who "think they are handy", and who will likely do more harm than good to your furniture. 2. Wherever you shop, ask what they will and will not do before your purchase anything. Go a step farther and ask if is this a hard policy that all delivery teams follow. 3. Consider Dania, Darvin, Walter E. Smithe... anybody except Ashley Furniture. The company as a whole is a BAD JOKE! They lack professionalism, do not stand behind their word, do not respect the hard-earned money that customers spend, and the furniture protection plan is just a way to make more money. Take your business elsewhere to a company that respects you and your money. If I could, I would give them zero stars. DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE!

We get most of our home furniture from here and love the quality.

Bought a couch here and have had to submit two claims because the cushions keep sinking. A month after the second claim, same thing happened again. I tried filing another claim and they refuse to help since it was 2 days after the warranty expired. You would think since this is an ongoing issue they’d be more understanding but no. So there goes my $1300 in the garbage. I’m sure Ashley furniture would’ve gone bankrupt if they would’ve done anything else for me.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this location. I sold a couch that fell apart within a month and a half of purchasing it, and the warranty I received was a fake, not an official Ashley warranty. When I called the number provided, they created fake tickets, but no one ever came to fix anything.

When we received our new table we noticed that the bottom leg was cracked. We called to see what the policy was to have this new chair replaced. After taking pictures making a report finally got an answer. They are going to Order a new part and it will take 4 weeks, then another 4 weeks to have someone repair it. So over 2 1/2 months to have a BRAND NEW Chair repaired. Don’t by from Ashley! So the reply says to call that Number. Don’t waste your time because the answer is the same. They said that just to make people think there are going to help. The chair should be replaced not repaired. We bought the chair NEW not used. Ashley replaced the damaged chair with a new one. You delivered a damaged chair so send us a NEW chair! Sept 2 and still waiting for part! Sad. Brand new chair.

Honestly, if you’re looking for furniture take your money and business elsewhere. now let’s start off with the actual review! For starters, staff, the company, and any sort of employee working there has a major lying problem. They give out the wrong stuff and damaged, when you want a refund they won’t give it too you, and when they exchange the actual product and it has a 1,000, YES ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS difference they refuse to refund you. There employees also use customers, information (emails, phone numbers) for they personal use outside of work hours. Summery, untrustworthy, major lying problem, scamming, unprofessional, and using customers personal information for personal benefits. PLEASE DON’T FALL VICTIM TO THIS STORE AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Upon calling the store manager he mentioned “ it’s not always about you guys” we paid in full 3 months back and now it’s not about us. No moral responsibility taken by the sales representative Lorenzo to reach out, he ghosted us. The store manager avoiding us after taking the full payment. They claim to be America’s #1 furniture store and people working in the store have no moral responsibility towards anything after taking your money. They are avoiding our specific phone numbers upon repeatedly calling them. Called the store from a different number and they pick up. Very very bad, worst do not go to Ashley

Ashley Furniture has a pretty big selection. Although the store has a big selection, I feel they are very over priced for the quility of Furniture they sell. The majority of their furniture seems to be Asian junk sold at a premium price. I don't like the salesperson model and feel customer service is greatly lacking. I walked around the entire store for 15 minutes and was the only customer, yet not one employee asked if I needed any help. I wouldn't recommend this Furniture store, I actually am surprised they are still open.

We’ve been knowing and buying from Lorenzo at Ashley Furniture for over 2 years, and every time has been a great experience. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and wants to make sure they’re happy with their purchase. Lorenzo is also the go-to expert for Tempur-Pedic beds—he knows everything there is to know and helped us pick the perfect one without ever feeling pressured. I’ve referred several family members and friends to him, and they all had the same great experience. If you’re shopping at Ashley, do yourself a favor and ask for Lorenzo. He’s one of their top salesmen, and it shows every time! He is like family .

I found what I was looking for I went and shopped at Bob’s they were cheaper by about $100 per piece of furniture, but the quality just wasn’t there and then I got a really good deal and I opted for the financing the manager Mira hooked me up I highly recommend this particular Ashley furniture. If you’re gonna spend your heart on money on furniture, get something that’s made with quality get the extended warranty on it and you can’t go wrong.

Ashley has a wonderful selection online as well as on their showroom floor and in their outlet in the back. It was very helpful for my wife and I to walk around and see all options. Ken, our furniture contact, was extremely helpful in attending to our needs, requests and questions. Even let us borrow his tape measure to walk around the store with - thank you Ken! Recommend Ken for sure.

I wanted to buy bedroom furniture there and have it delivered for my son before his move. I had priced things out in Madison, WI and I knew there would likely be a price difference. The price of the FURNITURE was nearly. $500 more (+ $300 for the dresser and + $150 for the night stand.) and he tried to charge me $100 more for the bed than what their website said. This was all before a higher tax rate too. I cancelled the order and bought everything for $900 less. We do have to drive it down there and assemble it ourselves but the difference in price was ridiculous.

I needed to buy a recliner for my husband that just came home from hospital & had major surgery. Luis was extremely helpful & showed me chairs I could pickup same day. He made the process quick & easy. The pickup at the back of store didn't go as well. My daughter & her boyfriend went to the back as the sign in front states, rang the bell & nothing. They came around front & waited for a woman to finish what she was typing before acknowledging them. They were told to go around back again & had to load the chair themselves which was already in two pieces. No one showed them exactly how it would need to go back together. It took some trial & error attempts but eventually was able to get it back together. You 10 Luis' at the store!!!!

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Broadview location. I purchased what I believed to be a two-piece sectional with a sleeper chaise, advertised both in-store and online for $1,299. However, upon delivery, I realized I had received the standard version of the sofa—listed at $999—not the sleeper I was promised. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize the mistake until after the delivery team had left. I immediately contacted the store and corporate office to report the issue. The salesperson, Scott, misled me about the product, and when I asked for help, the store manager refused to correct the mistake. Now, they expect me to pay an additional $300 for the sleeper version. At the very least, they should adjust my total from $1299 to $999, reflecting the actual product I received. This experience has been incredibly frustrating. Based on the dishonesty and lack of accountability I encountered, I cannot recommend shopping here. Customers deserve transparency—not deception—to make informed purchases.

Customer service was decent during the time we spent browsing in the store. However, we made a big purchase due to the 0% financing offer they were promoting, and the sales associate failed to disclose that there was going to be a 2% promotional fee for using that financing option. I only noticed the 2% fee after reviewing our first statement. Additionally, the sales associate promised free delivery, but upon reviewing my invoice I was charged $370 for delivery. Make sure to review every single INDIVIDUAL line item on the invoice prior to signing it to make sure everything the sales associate promises is actually true.

Walked in with intentions of purchasing a new queen size bed frame, preferably a nice wood one. Andrea helped us so much and made the transaction as smooth as butter. We appreciate her for helping us choose a new bed frame and being the nicest person to work with us on this tricky decision.

Sales rep Scott was incredibly dismissive. As a younger buyer with a modest budget, I came in genuinely interested in finding a sofa — not to waste time. I was ready to be sold on something, but as soon as I mentioned lease-to-own, Scott’s interest vanished. He quickly threw out a $300/month estimate for 90 days, but gave zero clarity on how the payment structure actually works. He didn’t even explain that I didn’t have to pay it in full within 90 days — a basic, important detail that proves he just wasn’t invested in helping us. We may be small fish now, but small fish grow — and we’ll be spending our bigger budgets somewhere that takes all customers seriously, regardless of age or financing option.

The store was a complete disaster. My wife and I had a great experience buying furniture there, but when we returned the next day to add an ottoman and cancel our insurance, the saleswomen’s attitude completely changed. They became hostile and unhelpful, even going so far as to move away from us and hide their computer screens. The manager who was assisting us with the ottoman added it without informing us of the change in delivery date, which was set for three weeks later. Fortunately, I returned today and spoke with Jeff, who was able to rectify the situation and provide us with the correct delivery date. He was the only saving grace for this store, as we were considering canceling our order.

Scott, our Sales Representative was extremely polite and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed working with him ad he assisted us in finding what we came to purchase.

Recently bought a dresser for my guest room. When I finally had the chance to put together it was too small I contacted them to explain but no response via email I finally had the chance to call and they said I had to request a return in 72 hours so I’m SOL so be careful when buying online because I didn’t even put it together in 72 hours. $ down the drain.

We bought a rug here & once we brought it home, it didn't quite go with some furniture we already have in the room. So we took the rug back. This attempt was rejected by the store. They cited the no-return policy as stated on page 4 of my receipt. PAGE 4! I guess it's my fault for not sitting down with a four page document handed to me after I'd already purchased the item. The salesman never disclosed the store's no returns policy. Now I've got this rug & nowhere to put it. Better to take your business to a more legit operation.

I purchased a king size bed. The salesperson asked if I wanted anything else I said no just the bed. The salesperson assumed I didn’t want the mattress and only ordered the bed frame; therefore I had to go back to the store to buy the king size mattress to go with the king size bed. When I said I didn’t want anything else that meant i didn’t want the dresser, chest, nightstand etc. I just wanted to buy the bed I was looking at.

I would give this store 0 stars if I could. Our sales woman, Andrea, was phenomenal. But the manager who took over the payment gave us 6 month financing instead of the 60 month promo, and now I have to call and correct that somehow. She also screwed up the delivery address sending it to Illinois instead of the new house in Kentucky. It was stated about 300 times we are moving. Don't be a manager if you can't listen.

I called the Broadview store and asked what I thought was a very simple question regarding which models fit my specifications for a new couch so I could research online before schlepping to the burbs The very nice person who answered the phone put me on hold, and Ron came to the phone. He said that they were busy and that he would show me when I came in. I tried to explain that I was looking online first and would like the model options, but he HUNG UP ON ME! Needless to say, I didn't go. Ron needs some coaching on how to deal with customers. He very easily could have asked for my number and called me back when it was less busy.

My experience at this location was not great. It was my first time at this store and we came ready to purchase a chair. No one greeted us when we entered the store. As we were walking around and looking at recliners, a girl finally approached us. We said we were looking for a recliner, I asked if there were any sales or deals and she said there were “promotions” depending on the chair. She said she would let us look around and she would come back. We never saw her again. We decided on a chair very quickly but wanted to see the other color options but no one came to help us. I walked to the front looking for someone to assist us and there was one sales lady helping someone at a table (I saw this when we entered). I saw another man walking around doing nothing. Finally, a maintenance man or dock worker, not sure which, asked us if we needed help (we did not know he wasn’t a salesperson). We asked about the other colors of the chair and originally he said there weren’t any even though the tag said there were. He said hold on and disappeared for awhile. Finally, he came back with a computer and said he wasn’t a sales person but he was able to pull up our chair in another color to show us. He brought us up front to buy it where the lady that was helping someone at a table was now scanning in boxes while her customer was sitting at the table waiting. Another woman was sitting at a desk in the front not helping anyone (no idea why she’s sitting out in the open doing work at a desk and not helping customers) and another man was walking around behind the desk sipping is drink and blowing his nose. No one was helping us buy this chair. It was extremely frustrating. I said where is the girl that originally came up to us and we were told she’s in a meeting. They were having a managers meeting. In the meantime, the woman sitting at the table was left there, my mom and I were left standing there and other customers coming in weren’t addressed. After waiting awhile, with no communication of when we will be helped to buy this chair, I became very frustrated and said you all seem too busy so we are going to go to another store. Then all of sudden the man blowing his nose who was sick by the way, started to help us. It was not a good experience. This store is poorly run, no one helps you and I would not shop here again.

Horrible service at this location and the corporate office is equally incompetent!!! I tried to use the No Use No Lose credit. It took two weeks to process and another week just to fix the credit. They applied the credit to the wrong layaway. They exclaimed, it takes 48 business hours to process.. however 48 business hours means 2 weeks!!

First off Jeff is awesome! Bought an accessory a couple days prior. Accessory was not what I needed. Store would not take care of the customer. One associate I was talking to went back behind a desk and looked like they were playing with their phone. Was going to buy a couch and probably end tables once this was settled and the holiday was over. Lost my business.

Had a horrible experience with the manager at this location! Didn’t catch his name but he is a middle-aged, bald, round faced guy with glasses. Came in looking for the Black Friday doorbuster deal and was immediately told that they only have more expensive pieces in store and that the doorbuster was online only, which it wasn’t because they had them in store at the Burbank location (which by the way go the Burbank location as they are extremely friendly and helpful) and nowhere online did it say the doorbuster was an online only deal. Really only needed to see the dimensions of the sofa on sale to get an idea of spacing, so asked if he could then help us find something similar in store for comparison. He quickly brushed off my request and told us to go to the Outlet section in the back of the store. He made us feel as though he was trying to imply we could not afford one of his more “expensive” pieces. I told him that wasn’t my question and that I was looking simply for help to find something similar in size for comparison and again he would not help me and said I told you there are sofas in the Outlet section in the back. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and we will not be returning to this location. We purchased two pieces at the Burbank location instead!

So disappointing. I am spending 8000 dollars on the furniture here and can't even get an email back. Back in August, I made an exchange, and the exchanged item was less than the original item. So, I needed a small refund for the difference. This was in August, and they told me it would take October/November to process because of verifications. Even though that's a ridiculous amount of time for a small refund, I was like whatever as long as I get my money back for the difference. It is now December, I have sent a total 6 follow up emails to sales associate MARIA ODONNELL and have gotten no response about the status of my order. An entire month ago she said she would "check on it" and then proceeded to ignore all of my follow up emails. I have been more than extremely patient with this incompetence. I had to call customer service to get this straightened out and it turned out she never even submitted or reported the refund SINCE AUGUST!!! This is ridiculous, unprofessional, and disappointing. Never making another purchase here ever again.

I’m not giving it any stars because my experience was that bad, but I had to give one star to post review!! I had a store credit for a while and dealt with the MANGER Ron Casteel. He was the rudest, laziest must unprofessional salesperson let alone manger I ever met!! He actually yelled and had the worst attitude towards me - a paying customer who has spent a few thousands in that store!! He was frustrated because he couldn’t find the price on two vases I wanted told me it’s not his fault he couldn’t sell them sale would mess up his inventory. That I would understand but they were not in his inventory (they also had a sticker with a price on them on the discount shelf) so I told him I would take both and asked if the vases were not in inventory how would they cause a inventory problem?? He didn’t have an answer and got mad I asked him! I then had to ask him to text other stores and that really made him so mad he had to go have a cigarette break!! Came back reeking of smoke and in a worse mood!! He told me I was demanding and I said I’m demanding he do his job (another sales lady tried to give him a solution and he disregarded her) he was a manger so manger the problem!! In the end he ended up getting the price, gave me another vase at a random price off the top of his head and then just had issues during checkout and ended up giving me the whole purchase for the amount of my store credit!! Couldn’t he could of just done this in the first place!! To end the matter I asked to please wraps all my glass items with extra paper and he told me he didn’t do that he’s a manager. I told him previously my sale items were wrapper to prevent breakage and pointed to a box of paper for wrapping items and he told me if I wanted them wrapped I should do it myself he didn’t wrap!! He gave us plastic bags and wrapping paper and my husband and I wrapped the items ourselves!! All during this transaction about 10 feet from us were a group of woman talking to another sales person watching and hearing him treat a paying customers so badly!! I will never go back to that store or shop at another Ashley store and the company has RON CASTEEL to thank for losing a customer whose buys new furniture for one of my rooms yearly!! DON’T SHOP THERE TERRIBLE PLACE!!! RON CASTEEL bosses need to watch video of this transaction - it happened on the 11/25/24 around 6:00ish and see how he treats customers and causes sales lost!! Also, someone needs to tell him to stop smoking at work some customers find the smell offensive!!

My partner and I visited the store on 11/6 in the evening, and we were fortunate to have an amazing sales rep named Ken. He was patient, let us take our time, and provided outstanding customer service without being pushy. We truly appreciated his help throughout the process. However, I’m giving only 2 stars due to our experience with the manager on duty. When we were ready to purchase a 3-piece sofa set and a bed frame, the manager was called over to finalize the sale. His appearance was unprofessional—his pants were saggy, his polo shirt was untucked, and he didn’t make any effort to greet us or engage with us as a manager should. When we were discussing whether to add insurance, he spoke down to us in a condescending and rude manner. His demeanor was unprofessional and off-putting. His overall attitude left a negative impression. We spent over $3k at the store, and if it weren’t for Ken’s excellent service, we would have walked out because of how uncomfortable the interaction with the manager was.

This is the second time I have been here at this location. The first visit was nice, but the second visit, they lost me as the customer. we had always chosen Ashley for our furniture store and now will not be going back again. I came here driving 1hr 15 min to buy a couch that I liked from the first visit .Ron, the manager, was very rude and was yelling at my mom because she had a small pocket dog at her lap . We agreed their no dog policy and had my mom hold the dog outside the entrance door and went to order the couch. Ron ended up yelling and was very aggressive towards her I can hear him shouting from inside and we came to ask his name he had an attitude and Ashley team please have management review your pet policy or have a guest a small area where they can stand and hold the dog while other family member are shopping .

The ONLY reason I am giving this a 1 star rating is because of associate GUSTAVO BALLESTEROS. I have an account with Ashley Homestore and wanted to add a side table to it. I have the store credit card. He told me there was a minimum purchase required to use my store credit card. I logged onto synchrony (bank that handles the stores’ credit cards) and asked if they could explain this to me. This was new to me as a credit card user. They informed me the associate was incorrect and it would be reported. A store credit card is a store card, you use it to buy things from the store. I hope Gustavo gets the education necessary to be successful in his role. I hope Ashley homestore cares enough for its customers, to at the very minimum, educate their employees.

Scammers. We bought a protection plan and they lost it. Then found it saying they'd replace the couch... They wanted to replace a piece I don't have. Four months later I still have a broken couch and no apologies.

I was extremly dissapointed with the "help" ive received from the people who work at this location. I ordered a sofa I thought was the right fit for my livingroom, but once ive determined that it wasn't I tried to exchange for a different one before the 72 hour deadline. Ive since ran into multiple issues with not only customer service but the actual owner of the store along with the manager. At first I had tried going to the store to sort things out in person, and as soon as I walked in to ask for help the assistant manager Vanessa told us that this issue could have been "handled over the phone" and questioned why we had even came to the store. Before we had left and told them our issues with the order we had left the same way we entered not knowing if this would ever get resolved, they told us they would call but took weeks to ever get a call back. Then when the time came to delivery the new sofa and loveseat it was the wrong one. We spent a total of 2 months with no living room for everything to finally get resolved with the right sofa and no love seat but atleast the main problem was resolved. Would not reccomend shopping at this store.

I've been attempting to get a refund for over a month for an item that I never picked up. I always get told something different by whomever answers my call, corporate only makes notes of the situation on my account and is not helpful and I even had the manager tell me my refund is set. To this date no refund. Edit to add: I called the number below and was promised my refund Monday. It is now a week later and still no return.

Complete trash along with every manager there. My furniture set came damaged two times and they refused to replace it after the second time and offered no compensation. The furniture is cheap trash.

They need to work on their sales and clean… we walk in and the gentleman told us about the clearance, GREAT! Not what we are looking for and he did not ask. Then as we are looking at things again he tells us, “Clearance is that way”. AWESOME! not what we’re looking for. We did end up checking it out and as we assumed the clearance section was not much to see BUT WE DID SEE there was a moldy Starbucks cup from JULY (it’s the middle of August) on one of the shelves and so much dust and litter it was gross. We looked around a bit (no one to be found or asking us if we need help) then left and went to another furniture store where we got great help and bought a very nice sectional that was not on clearance LOL.

My table and chairs were delivered today. It was awsome!!! They texted me this morning and told me I was number 11 on delivery. Then a map where I could follow the truck. They were right on time. Avoid this store! Our experience with Ashley has significantly declined. We purchased two sofas, which arrived a few days after ordering. Unfortunately, the sofas came with protruding nails that injured a relative. Our request for a replacement was denied, and we are left with a sofa that is either unusable or in need of a refurbishment that could ruin its appearance. This is very disappointing. Order was placed a few days it arrived, we reported this immediately then customer service staid, been more than 72 hrs post order!!! Come on….!! Another recent experience with Ashley, bought discounted items /accessories spending close to 3 grands in total. The items, many disintegrated others left stains on the countertop. The lady manger refused to return or exchange!! Not happy at all….

Jeff Norman was great! We were there looking for furnishings for our condo. He was patient, knowledgeable and spent about 4 hours at least with us, knew when to leave us while we made decisions. We purchased furniture for 4 rooms and can't wait for delivery. Thank you, Jeff!

I have purchased almost all of my furniture from Ashley furniture store in Broadview since 2016. Today's purchase was just as easy and the salesman was just as friendly as all the other times I've gone in there. I am very pleased with the quality of the furniture, mattresses, rugs and lamps, etc that I have purchased over these past 8 years. The staff is no pressure but available when needed and very knowledgeable about what they sell. The store has a large selection so finding what you need is very easy.

My first visit was not so pleasant. After researching for weeks on the Ashley app I finally went tother Ashley in Chicago's South loop. Made the reservation only to get to the store and it's going out of business!WHAT? At 10mi round trip and the site made NO MENTION of that store was closing! However the Broadview store was spacious and had many selections, of which I purchased a beautiful sofa for my birthday. ANDREA was awesome. She made it worth my while after the disaster at the Chicago South Loop store.

I went to the store in search of a living room and dining room set and received both for a great deal. The problem was our salesmen, he started off very helpful and informative and then became very pushy and rude. Once we chose our set he showed us a mattress which we didn’t need but were interested. They were willing to throw in something free and lower the price but it was still out of the price range I was comfortable with. Once we sat down and ran the numbers I decided I was no longer interested and that’s when he wouldn’t accept no for an answer. He pushed the mattress purchase over 10 times and once I put my foot down and said no he processed our transaction and informed us the full price of the mattress and if we returned no discounts or free items would be thrown in. My wife was very irritated by the service and how no wasn’t being accepted as an answer.

I ordered couches and kept getting the run around. My review was positive at first but I’m editing due to lack of communication on the update of my delivery and speaking to customer service rep made me aware that my couches were not going to even be delivered the day I was told at the store. Apparently one section of my couch is out of stock. If it wasn’t for calling customer service, I wouldn’t have been aware of this. With that said, I canceled my order here & shopping elsewhere with hopefully clearer communication and better in store customer service.

The associate Carmen was extremely unhelpful. She was so thirsty to flag us down to make the sale and then spent the entire time distracted with other things. I’m 8 months pregnant and spent an hour driving out to get help with an issue and it didn’t get resolved. I ended up having to walk out from frustration.

I bought a sectional about a month ago, my delivery was last Thursday 3/14 and they delivered the wrong sectional. I called the store the same day and spoke to Gabe and I’m supposed to get it delivered this Friday. I still haven't received any notifications stating the delivery was scheduled. I dont know what went wrong and why I got the wrong sectional but Im hoping it gets delivered Friday.

The items that were purchased were nice. However, one of your employees tried to charge us well over $1000 over the purchase price. My wife caught the error, and the manager there was very apologetic. I find it concerning that had it not have it been for my wife catching the error, we would have paid well over cost. The customers put faith in your staff that we will have a great experience at your establishment. This unfortunately did not happen for my wife and me.

Store stated they could not do anything about it. Some pieces are missing from the furniture. Customer service center has horrible attitude. They cancelled my delivery 4 times. I put in a claim on my bed room set. Insurance they claim they have is a bunch of crap. I will never in life buy anything from Ashley ever again.!!! Just horrible… If I could give the company negative numbers as reviews I would.

Great team willing to help you through any obstacles that might come up during financing and flexible with sale prices to fit your budget. I would also add to read the fine print when financing with third party. That’s what inevitably would make your purchase seem expensive.

Well I came on the weekend and was unaware that the delivery guys didn't work the dock or we were after the pickup hours but there was a nice young girl who was working behind the desk who helped us out and we loaded the desk are self with her help she was really great and went beyond the call of duty if I can give her ten stars I would and I will definitely come back again thanks she could of easily turn us away to come back to normal business hours.

Most of customer service experience was good, except the one that really mattered, which was the person who was attending to my family and I. He wasn't rude, but he was very impatient. He kept leaving us (for water breaks) whenever we were discussing something regarding the furniture, he almost messed up our order(which I understand we all make mistakes), and he didn't even say "thank you" at the end of our visit. He was so in a rush to leave, but why take on a new customer if it's almost your time to leave. I just hope that my order arrives correctly 🤞.
