The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Andrea made the experience really nice. She was very knowledgeable about the pieces. She was patient with answering my questions. She was not just trying to make a sale. She was really trying to figure out what I needed and what would be best for my needs. Purchased a dining table for 2500.00. After 2 weeks the top cracked. a clear manufacturer defect. They are declining the claim since it is more the 3 days. The wood was not properly seasoned
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Placed an order the 13th and they completely messed up the financing and delivery so I cancelled the order. Was told that the money I put down as a deposit in the store that day would be refunded in 7-10 days. Well it’s past the 10 days and I was just told that my money was tied up in a layaway order and that it will be another 7-10 days. Very quick to take your money but even faster to screw everything up in the process. Don’t shop here

I would give this store 0 stars if I could. Our sales woman, Andrea, was phenomenal. But the manager who took over the payment gave us 6 month financing instead of the 60 month promo, and now I have to call and correct that somehow. She also screwed up the delivery address sending it to Illinois instead of the new house in Kentucky. It was stated about 300 times we are moving. Don't be a manager if you can't listen.
The store offers a good variety at reasonable prices. A great place to hunt for your home decor. We will surely visit it again

Ken was great. He made the buying process smooth and simple. We walked in with our eyes on a certain design and allowed us to talk out our vision. He wasn't pushy or aggressive which was a huge help in making the right decision. I will definitely be back and will do everything to refer not only him, but this specific location in the future.
The sales rep Andrea Flynn was great! She gets 10 stars if possible. She allowed us to roam the store without overcrowding us, was patient and answered all our questions. However the female manager Veronica, came rushing was taking so fast it was hard to understand what she was saying, and began, pushing the insurance protection and didn’t care we kept saying no. She continued pushing the insurance protection so many times and looked upset that none of her sales tricks didn’t worked. She would not take no for an answer, it was uncomfortable to have her there.. I would give Veronica 0 stars. She certainly has zero people’s skills. Or if she has them she never showed them to us. The second manager that came, not sure of his name, but he was super nice and extremely polite and helpful. He would also get 10 stars. The furniture is great and wished I needed more than what I purchased and would go back if needed. I just don’t want Veronica anywhere near me.

I called the Broadview store and asked what I thought was a very simple question regarding which models fit my specifications for a new couch so I could research online before schlepping to the burbs The very nice person who answered the phone put me on hold, and Ron came to the phone. He said that they were busy and that he would show me when I came in. I tried to explain that I was looking online first and would like the model options, but he HUNG UP ON ME! Needless to say, I didn't go. Ron needs some coaching on how to deal with customers. He very easily could have asked for my number and called me back when it was less busy.
Carman Valdez was very helpful, answered our questions and directed us to what we needed. She gave us space but checked in regularly. It was a very easy process.

My experience at this location was not great. It was my first time at this store and we came ready to purchase a chair. No one greeted us when we entered the store. As we were walking around and looking at recliners, a girl finally approached us. We said we were looking for a recliner, I asked if there were any sales or deals and she said there were “promotions” depending on the chair. She said she would let us look around and she would come back. We never saw her again. We decided on a chair very quickly but wanted to see the other color options but no one came to help us. I walked to the front looking for someone to assist us and there was one sales lady helping someone at a table (I saw this when we entered). I saw another man walking around doing nothing. Finally, a maintenance man or dock worker, not sure which, asked us if we needed help (we did not know he wasn’t a salesperson). We asked about the other colors of the chair and originally he said there weren’t any even though the tag said there were. He said hold on and disappeared for awhile. Finally, he came back with a computer and said he wasn’t a sales person but he was able to pull up our chair in another color to show us. He brought us up front to buy it where the lady that was helping someone at a table was now scanning in boxes while her customer was sitting at the table waiting. Another woman was sitting at a desk in the front not helping anyone (no idea why she’s sitting out in the open doing work at a desk and not helping customers) and another man was walking around behind the desk sipping is drink and blowing his nose. No one was helping us buy this chair. It was extremely frustrating. I said where is the girl that originally came up to us and we were told she’s in a meeting. They were having a managers meeting. In the meantime, the woman sitting at the table was left there, my mom and I were left standing there and other customers coming in weren’t addressed. After waiting awhile, with no communication of when we will be helped to buy this chair, I became very frustrated and said you all seem too busy so we are going to go to another store. Then all of sudden the man blowing his nose who was sick by the way, started to help us. It was not a good experience. This store is poorly run, no one helps you and I would not shop here again.
Ask for Gustavo Ballesteros at the store. He will give you the best deals along with the best conversations. We got a sofa and sideboard with him. It was a fun experience! Thank you

The store had a large selection of living room furniture and the sales person ,Andrea , was very helpful in making our selection.
Horrible service at this location and the corporate office is equally incompetent!!! I tried to use the No Use No Lose credit. It took two weeks to process and another week just to fix the credit. They applied the credit to the wrong layaway. They exclaimed, it takes 48 business hours to process.. however 48 business hours means 2 weeks!!
First off Jeff is awesome! Bought an accessory a couple days prior. Accessory was not what I needed. Store would not take care of the customer. One associate I was talking to went back behind a desk and looked like they were playing with their phone. Was going to buy a couch and probably end tables once this was settled and the holiday was over. Lost my business.

I went in ashley today not sure if I was going to be happy with the items I where looking for but thanks to Carmen the sale associate took me right to one of the items which was a bed told me to sit on it and try it out and I didn’t have to look any further just what I was looking for thanks she was very helpful

Had a horrible experience with the manager at this location! Didn’t catch his name but he is a middle-aged, bald, round faced guy with glasses. Came in looking for the Black Friday doorbuster deal and was immediately told that they only have more expensive pieces in store and that the doorbuster was online only, which it wasn’t because they had them in store at the Burbank location (which by the way go the Burbank location as they are extremely friendly and helpful) and nowhere online did it say the doorbuster was an online only deal. Really only needed to see the dimensions of the sofa on sale to get an idea of spacing, so asked if he could then help us find something similar in store for comparison. He quickly brushed off my request and told us to go to the Outlet section in the back of the store. He made us feel as though he was trying to imply we could not afford one of his more “expensive” pieces. I told him that wasn’t my question and that I was looking simply for help to find something similar in size for comparison and again he would not help me and said I told you there are sofas in the Outlet section in the back. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and we will not be returning to this location. We purchased two pieces at the Burbank location instead!

So disappointing. I am spending 8000 dollars on the furniture here and can't even get an email back. Back in August, I made an exchange, and the exchanged item was less than the original item. So, I needed a small refund for the difference. This was in August, and they told me it would take October/November to process because of verifications. Even though that's a ridiculous amount of time for a small refund, I was like whatever as long as I get my money back for the difference. It is now December, I have sent a total 6 follow up emails to sales associate MARIA ODONNELL and have gotten no response about the status of my order. An entire month ago she said she would "check on it" and then proceeded to ignore all of my follow up emails. I have been more than extremely patient with this incompetence. I had to call customer service to get this straightened out and it turned out she never even submitted or reported the refund SINCE AUGUST!!! This is ridiculous, unprofessional, and disappointing. Never making another purchase here ever again.

I’m not giving it any stars because my experience was that bad, but I had to give one star to post review!! I had a store credit for a while and dealt with the MANGER Ron Casteel. He was the rudest, laziest must unprofessional salesperson let alone manger I ever met!! He actually yelled and had the worst attitude towards me - a paying customer who has spent a few thousands in that store!! He was frustrated because he couldn’t find the price on two vases I wanted told me it’s not his fault he couldn’t sell them sale would mess up his inventory. That I would understand but they were not in his inventory (they also had a sticker with a price on them on the discount shelf) so I told him I would take both and asked if the vases were not in inventory how would they cause a inventory problem?? He didn’t have an answer and got mad I asked him! I then had to ask him to text other stores and that really made him so mad he had to go have a cigarette break!! Came back reeking of smoke and in a worse mood!! He told me I was demanding and I said I’m demanding he do his job (another sales lady tried to give him a solution and he disregarded her) he was a manger so manger the problem!! In the end he ended up getting the price, gave me another vase at a random price off the top of his head and then just had issues during checkout and ended up giving me the whole purchase for the amount of my store credit!! Couldn’t he could of just done this in the first place!! To end the matter I asked to please wraps all my glass items with extra paper and he told me he didn’t do that he’s a manager. I told him previously my sale items were wrapper to prevent breakage and pointed to a box of paper for wrapping items and he told me if I wanted them wrapped I should do it myself he didn’t wrap!! He gave us plastic bags and wrapping paper and my husband and I wrapped the items ourselves!! All during this transaction about 10 feet from us were a group of woman talking to another sales person watching and hearing him treat a paying customers so badly!! I will never go back to that store or shop at another Ashley store and the company has RON CASTEEL to thank for losing a customer whose buys new furniture for one of my rooms yearly!! DON’T SHOP THERE TERRIBLE PLACE!!! RON CASTEEL bosses need to watch video of this transaction - it happened on the 11/25/24 around 6:00ish and see how he treats customers and causes sales lost!! Also, someone needs to tell him to stop smoking at work some customers find the smell offensive!!

My partner and I visited the store on 11/6 in the evening, and we were fortunate to have an amazing sales rep named Ken. He was patient, let us take our time, and provided outstanding customer service without being pushy. We truly appreciated his help throughout the process. However, I’m giving only 2 stars due to our experience with the manager on duty. When we were ready to purchase a 3-piece sofa set and a bed frame, the manager was called over to finalize the sale. His appearance was unprofessional—his pants were saggy, his polo shirt was untucked, and he didn’t make any effort to greet us or engage with us as a manager should. When we were discussing whether to add insurance, he spoke down to us in a condescending and rude manner. His demeanor was unprofessional and off-putting. His overall attitude left a negative impression. We spent over $3k at the store, and if it weren’t for Ken’s excellent service, we would have walked out because of how uncomfortable the interaction with the manager was.

This is the second time I have been here at this location. The first visit was nice, but the second visit, they lost me as the customer. we had always chosen Ashley for our furniture store and now will not be going back again. I came here driving 1hr 15 min to buy a couch that I liked from the first visit .Ron, the manager, was very rude and was yelling at my mom because she had a small pocket dog at her lap . We agreed their no dog policy and had my mom hold the dog outside the entrance door and went to order the couch. Ron ended up yelling and was very aggressive towards her I can hear him shouting from inside and we came to ask his name he had an attitude and Ashley team please have management review your pet policy or have a guest a small area where they can stand and hold the dog while other family member are shopping .

The ONLY reason I am giving this a 1 star rating is because of associate GUSTAVO BALLESTEROS. I have an account with Ashley Homestore and wanted to add a side table to it. I have the store credit card. He told me there was a minimum purchase required to use my store credit card. I logged onto synchrony (bank that handles the stores’ credit cards) and asked if they could explain this to me. This was new to me as a credit card user. They informed me the associate was incorrect and it would be reported. A store credit card is a store card, you use it to buy things from the store. I hope Gustavo gets the education necessary to be successful in his role. I hope Ashley homestore cares enough for its customers, to at the very minimum, educate their employees.

Scammers. We bought a protection plan and they lost it. Then found it saying they'd replace the couch... They wanted to replace a piece I don't have. Four months later I still have a broken couch and no apologies.

I was extremly dissapointed with the "help" ive received from the people who work at this location. I ordered a sofa I thought was the right fit for my livingroom, but once ive determined that it wasn't I tried to exchange for a different one before the 72 hour deadline. Ive since ran into multiple issues with not only customer service but the actual owner of the store along with the manager. At first I had tried going to the store to sort things out in person, and as soon as I walked in to ask for help the assistant manager Vanessa told us that this issue could have been "handled over the phone" and questioned why we had even came to the store. Before we had left and told them our issues with the order we had left the same way we entered not knowing if this would ever get resolved, they told us they would call but took weeks to ever get a call back. Then when the time came to delivery the new sofa and loveseat it was the wrong one. We spent a total of 2 months with no living room for everything to finally get resolved with the right sofa and no love seat but atleast the main problem was resolved. Would not reccomend shopping at this store.

I've been attempting to get a refund for over a month for an item that I never picked up. I always get told something different by whomever answers my call, corporate only makes notes of the situation on my account and is not helpful and I even had the manager tell me my refund is set. To this date no refund. Edit to add: I called the number below and was promised my refund Monday. It is now a week later and still no return.

We did end up checking it out and as we assumed the clearance section was not much to see BUT WE DID SEE there was a moldy Starbucks cup from JULY (it’s the middle of August) on one of the shelves and so much dust and litter it was gross. We looked around a bit (no one to be found or asking us if we need help) then left and went to another furniture store where we got great help and bought a very nice sectional that was not on clearance LOL.

My table and chairs were delivered today. It was awsome!!! They texted me this morning and told me I was number 11 on delivery. Then a map where I could follow the truck. They were right on time. They counted down there stops. I knew exactly where they were all day! They came in and set it all up. Looks fabulous!!! Thank you too Jonny again cause I changed design of 2 chairs last minute! You guys at Ashley’s are AWESOME!!! I am so happy!!!!!!

Avoid this store! Our experience with Ashley has significantly declined. We purchased two sofas, which arrived a few days after ordering. Unfortunately, the sofas came with protruding nails that injured a relative. Our request for a replacement was denied, and we are left with a sofa that is either unusable or in need of a refurbishment that could ruin its appearance. This is very disappointing. Order was placed a few days it arrived, we reported this immediately then customer service staid, been more than 72 hrs post order!!! Come on….!! Another recent experience with Ashley, bought discounted items /accessories spending close to 3 grands in total. The items, many disintegrated others left stains on the countertop. The lady manger refused to return or exchange!! Not happy at all….
Jeff Norman was great! We were there looking for furnishings for our condo. He was patient, knowledgeable and spent about 4 hours at least with us, knew when to leave us while we made decisions. We purchased furniture for 4 rooms and can't wait for delivery. Thank you, Jeff!

I have purchased almost all of my furniture from Ashley furniture store in Broadview since 2016. Today's purchase was just as easy and the salesman was just as friendly as all the other times I've gone in there. I am very pleased with the quality of the furniture, mattresses, rugs and lamps, etc that I have purchased over these past 8 years. The staff is no pressure but available when needed and very knowledgeable about what they sell. The store has a large selection so finding what you need is very easy.
My first visit was not so pleasant. After researching for weeks on the Ashley app I finally went tother Ashley in Chicago's South loop. Made the reservation only to get to the store and it's going out of business!WHAT? At 10mi round trip and the site made NO MENTION of that store was closing! However the Broadview store was spacious and had many selections, of which I purchased a beautiful sofa for my birthday. ANDREA was awesome. She made it worth my while after the disaster at the Chicago South Loop store.

3rd party delivery company scratched the heck out of my hardwood floor. After spending EIGHT WEEKS fighting them on a claim they are refusing to pay for it. Ruined a 4K floor over a 2k couch. I will never shop Ashley again.
I've already bought my couch & coffee table from Ashley Furniture and I love them, so I decided to go in there to look for a bedroom set. I showed the salesman a picture of my headboard from the bed I already have and he had the perfect bedroom set that matched perfectly already picked out for me!!! I was totally sold. A friend and I wandered into Ashley's Sunday afternoon in search of a new mattress. Upon entering the store, Gus, a sales associate, offered to assist us. My friend brought her own sheet so that she could literally try all mattresses, safely. Gus brought us a pillow which allowed us to really feel at home. I went to the store in search of a living room and dining room set and received both for a great deal. The problem was our salesmen, he started off very helpful and informative and then became very pushy and rude. Once we chose our set he showed us a mattress which we didn’t need but were interested. They were willing to throw in something free and lower the price but it was still out of the price range I was comfortable with. Once we sat down and ran the numbers I decided I was no longer interested and that’s when he wouldn’t accept no for an answer. He pushed the mattress purchase over 10 times and once I put my foot down and said no he processed our transaction and informed us the full price of the mattress and if we returned no discounts or free items would be thrown in. My wife was very irritated by the service and how no wasn’t being accepted as an answer.
I ordered couches and kept getting the run around. My review was positive at first but I’m editing due to lack of communication on the update of my delivery and speaking to customer service rep made me aware that my couches were not going to even be delivered the day I was told at the store. Apparently one section of my couch is out of stock. If it wasn’t for calling customer service, I wouldn’t have been aware of this. With that said, I canceled my order here & shopping elsewhere with hopefully clearer communication and better in store customer service.
The associate Carmen was extremely unhelpful. She was so thirsty to flag us down to make the sale and then spent the entire time distracted with other things. I’m 8 months pregnant and spent an hour driving out to get help with an issue and it didn’t get resolved. I ended up having to walk out from frustration.

I bought a sectional about a month ago, my delivery was last Thursday 3/14 and they delivered the wrong sectional. I called the store the same day and spoke to Gabe and I’m supposed to get it delivered this Friday. I still haven't received any notifications stating the delivery was scheduled. I dont know what went wrong and why I got the wrong sectional but Im hoping it gets delivered Friday.

The items that were purchased were nice. However, one of your employees tried to charge us well over $1000 over the purchase price. My wife caught the error, and the manager there was very apologetic. I find it concerning that had it not have it been for my wife catching the error, we would have paid well over cost. The customers put faith in your staff that we will have a great experience at your establishment. This unfortunately did not happen for my wife and me.

I bought some furniture end up having roaches and a dirty sock in between couches. Called customer service to complain. I haven’t received a call back. Store stated they could not do anything about it. Some pieces are missing from the furniture. Customer service center has horrible attitude. They cancelled my delivery 4 times. I put in a claim on my bed room set. Insurance they claim they have is a bunch of crap. I will never in life buy anything from Ashley ever again.!!! Just horrible… If I could give the company negative numbers as reviews I would.

Well I came on the weekend and was unaware that the delivery guys didn't work the dock or we were after the pickup hours but there was a nice young girl who was working behind the desk who helped us out and we loaded the desk are self with her help she was really great and went beyond the call of duty if I can give her ten stars I would and I will definitely come back again thanks she could of easily turn us away to come back to normal business hours.
Most of customer service experience was good, except the one that really mattered, which was the person who was attending to my family and I. He wasn't rude, but he was very impatient. He kept leaving us (for water breaks) whenever we were discussing something regarding the furniture, he almost messed up our order(which I understand we all make mistakes), and he didn't even say "thank you" at the end of our visit. He was so in a rush to leave, but why take on a new customer if it's almost your time to leave. I just hope that my order arrives correctly 🤞.

Not sure I will ever shop at Ashley again. The so called white glove delivery was a joke. They left Styrofoam bits all over my floor, found a big chunk on my front lawn and they left the packaging next to my garbage can when I swore I was told they take it with them. One of the pieces was delivered damaged and instead of replacing it they're "fixing" it. Not a happy camper

Bought a sofa from here about a month ago. Ordered sofa in Store with Aaron, a salesman. I immediately got the impression Aaron was disappointed that we were not looking at the most expensive furniture and left me and my partner alone. Which is honestly how I’d prefer to shop anyway. After we decided in the sofa we told Aaron. We took him to the sofa we wanted and asked if it comes in different colors. He told us yes and showed us the 3 colors. The sofa, loveseat and armchair were each a different color but all 3 were available in the 3 colors. We explained we wanted the sofa in the color of the armchair (beige/cream). This was fine Aaron processed the order we left. Delivery took 3 weeks which was fine. But the sofa that arrived was not the color we had ordered. We went to a different Ashley store just to make sure we were correct and saw indeed the color we had asked for and it was not what arrived. So we called the customer service and they said it’s no problem, they contacted the store and said we will hear in a few days and they will send out a replacement. Here is where Ashley goes downhill. Aaron calls me a 2 days later and says “I hear they are under the impression the sofa is the wrong color”. I honestly couldn’t believe he said that we were under the impression. I told him no, it is the wrong color. He said it’s the same color as the one in the store. I said yes, but we specifically asked for it in the color of the armchair. He begrudgingly said ok and that he would speak to his manager and call me back. The next, no reply so I call Aaron to see what’s happening. He says his manager is just finishing a meeting and he’ll talk to him right away and call me after. Ok I left it there. Next day, still no call, I call Aaron again and he says same thing. Manager just finished a meeting etc. I tell him he said that yesterday and he never called me. He says “ Oh I didn’t realize that I needed to call and give you an update every hour”. I was pretty shocked that someone would say that, especially when it’s his fault. I explained that I was appalled by what he said and his service. He said “I won’t say it again then so” I left it there. 2 days later I get a text message explaining the delivery date for the new sofa etc. no apology, no explanation for why it took 5 days to talk to his manager. Absolutely terrible customer service l. We won’t be shopping at Ashley again I can tell you that.

Do not buy from Ashley. Do not buy from this store. My husband and I recently moved to the area and needed to fill out apartment with furniture. We purchased over $6k in furniture in person from this location. We were so excited. Little did we know the nightmare that was waiting for us. When the couch came, it was filthy, ripped, and had holes in it. I called Ashley very upset and disappointed. They said they would send a repair out to fix it. I was even more upset. I did not want a “repaired” couch. I wanted the brand new couch I paid thousands for. They refused. The couch could not be repaired. They sent a new couch. The new couch that came was even more damaged than the first. Today, for the 3rd time our couch was set to be replaced/delivered along with the new bedroom set. The couch is now ok but of course the bedroom set we ordered is damaged. The mirror is broken. The dresser drawers don’t open. We told the delivery man we wanted to refuse delivery of the dresser. He told us no and that he had to leave it and we would receive a call about replacement. We said we would not sign for the bedroom set unless he marked down that the dresser was broken. He agreed. As soon as he leaves, I get a text that the bedroom set was successfully delivered with no damage. He must’ve deleted what we wrote down right after. He also marked down that he replaced our entire couch when he only one piece. This entire experience has been so shady and so heartbreaking to be honest. My husband and I have had to miss work on FOUR separate occasions over the course of the past few months for Ashley to fix their mistakes. We have received no compensation. Only half hearted apologies for the inconvenience. We now have to take off work AGAIN for the replacement of the dresser. I will NEVER purchase from Ashley again. I do not know how they survive as a business when all of their furniture is delivered broken. I can’t imagine how cheaply made it is yet they charge top dollar. Please don’t make our mistake.
Beware the upsell! We originally went in to buy a table and mattress but I really feel like we dodged a bullet after reading the reviews here. We ended up not buying the table, but I should mention that the price listed in store was $100 more than what was listed on the Ashley website. First red flag. We were in the process of closing our purchase on the mattress, which the salesperson and in-store advertising said had a 90 day guarantee. The salesperson then brought in a mattress cover and stated that the 90 day guarantee only applied if we paid $149 for this cover, which was very thin and obviously not worth $49, much less $149. There was no mention of this requirement when we were trying out the mattress. I pulled up the manufacturer website and lo and behold, they have the exact same 90 day guarantee without having to purchase a third rate junky mattress cover. On top of that, the manufacturer offers $300 in free accessories, which Ashley does not offer at all. So in short Ashley was trying to charge $450 more than what we would pay buying direct. When we tried to discuss this with the salesperson, she started playing the whole, "let me talk with my manager" game. Needless to say, we and our $3200 walked right out of the store. We have been around the block enough to recognize these scammy sales tactics for what they are. Don't waste your time or money with this store.

NEVER AGAIN…. I’ll continue to shop at Bob’s furniture they had a selection and all the employees have a high school diploma..

Here’s my update: BUYER BEWARE! Shameless! The furniture I received was in horrid condition. And it came TWO MONTHS LATE. Two months without a couch or bed frame. And don't even get me started on their scamming. They have a store credit card. This card is a scam through Ashley Furniture. They swindle people by telling you that it's 0% interest IN HOUSE financing, so why wouldn't you sign up? They don't tell you it's a credit card which is then obviously financed through a bank. The problem with that besides being deceitful, is that I'm not going to keep buying furniture for the barely there perks, and I would never use this card over a rewards card for anything that's not Ashley Furniture. So I either risk the card closing due to inactivity and dropping my credit score. Or am forced to spend money on the card that could be better spent on a different one. They're very abysmal. The sales woman who fronted the scam was Carmen V.

I purchased a queen bed on Thursday. The sales rep, Lorenzo said the store did not provide delivery for items purchased in the outlet. He however gave me the number of a delivery driver. He assured me that the delivery driver was reliable and that he had referred many customers to him. I spoke to the driver and he agreed to deliver the items on Monday because Friday and Saturday were fully booked. Monday morning I messaged the driver to confirm the time for delivery. He said between 5 pm and 8 pm. He also explained that they would call 30 minutes before they arrived. 5:30 came no word from them. I called at 6 pm and he said he had to arrange with the other drivers for the delivery and that he would call back to confirm. 7 pm came and no word. I called again and he said they would now be delivering on Tuesday between 6 and 8. I cannot understand how it is the physical Ashley store does not provide delivery. In addition, the sales rep gave me the number of someone who was unreliable and reassured me of the opposite. I will just by my furniture online next time and from another store

Besides being that the price is too high for delivery, it has been a chore to get the delivery scheduled. If you don't respond within a half hour they are closing your chat on a text message. That's confusing as it is. I go back to the store to explain this chat is on a test message and how short the window is too respond. All they can say is I'm sorry. I ask will this be the same way for when they call about my window for delivery? I told them somebody will be at my house. They said, on no, you are locked in. I told him, but it took too long just to find a delivery date. But they said I have to answer right away. So, I said to them, if I don't answer within half an hour, I lose my spot for delivery? Yes, they said, because they have to move on the next delivery. I can understand that but I was not up at 8:06am this morning not knowing I had to be awake to answer if a certain delivery date was OK. I told them, if you are doing other people like this you are gonna have trouble with them as well. Last time I'm getting anything from Ashley's Furniture.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FURNITURE. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! My table was very loose and wobbly and not properly installed. I called to have it repaired in October. The technician came out in November and tightened the screws. He said the screws fell out. It seemed like he did a good job and the table was sturdy. In February, my table snapped and fell on its own. When I flipped the table over to see what happened the wood cracked. Luckily the table didn’t fall on my son. I called and asked for another technician and they said mid April. Mid April came around and no parts. They said mid May. Although I was adamant that I didn’t not feel safe with the table they said there was nothing they could do. I had to wait until a technician said the table was not repairable. I explained that this is a safety issue since this is the second time in less than a year the table broke. Everyone I called gave me the same answer I couldn’t do anything until parts arrived. I called corporate they told me to call the store. The store manager told me he would follow up with me and 2 weeks have gone by and I haven’t heard from him. Horrible service and cheap furniture. Don’t waste your time and money.

Yesterday 4/10 I was quoted $900 for a recliner in the outlet room by the sales clerk Juan who said he was working "all day tomorrow" and there would be no problem paying and picking up then. And when I came back today 4/11 to pay and pick up, the sales people would not honor his price even tho they called him. The salesman told me what I believe is a fib: That the store manager was there and said the gray recliner in the outlet room can be sold for $1000 but I can meet you halfway at $950. There is no way in heck that of all the hundreds of items in the outlet room he just so happened to say that about the one I was quoted on 🤔 it just sounds a bit fishy to me.
I visited twice and both sales people (Andrea and Luis) I worked with were great.

We purchased a dresser that we noticed was broken once delivered . We immediately called and requested a refund , they said we cannot get a refund. They are forcing us to get a brand new dresser FIXED! It’s two months later and this dresser is still broken and no service technician came out as of yet to fix this supposedly brand new dresser . Lastly the customer service center is located overseas . Prepare to be frustrated with the customer service as well . This is like the Walmart of furniture
We were scheduled for a bed delivery twice. The first time, one of the boxes was labeled with the incorrect parts inside the box so the delivery guys couldn’t install the bed. So it had to be rescheduled for a 2nd delivery. When they arrived for the 2nd time, the headboard and footboard were damaged from the warehouse. We rejected the delivery. Ashley Home never contacted us with a 3rd delivery date. We had to call them to find out if we have a 3rd delivery date? We finally requested a full refund and was told it could take up to 21 days. Since when does it take 3 weeks to receive a refund? When we paid over $2K for the bed, Ashley received our money immediately!!!! NOT 21 days later. I highly DO NOT recommend shopping at Ashley Home Furniture. Terrible customer service and damaged goods from the warehouse.

Placed my order back in November, I was told my furniture will be delivered by Dec 7th, for rescheduled for the 21st and then reschedule for today the 29th. Delivery driver showed up and was missing some stuff. Never again, it’s so frustrating.

I called multiple times, usually getting an automated message saying “4-6 weeks to schedule delivery”, and once getting a person who promised both sofa and love seat would arrive from their distribution center by 12/6. Well it’s 12/11 and the automated system still says 4-6 weeks for my order. I’m just asking for a refund and shopping used on Facebook.
Bought a recliner from a nice man named Ken. He was very thorough and got us in and out in no time. Also went and got me their wheelchair from the front of the store as I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and Ken noticed I was having trouble getting around the store.

Lucky if you get the wright parts from your furniture, 7 times they sent me demeged or wrong items. I still waiting for them to get my furniture delivered and ensemble.
After 3 months, finally received my sofa sleeper. I called it in since everywhere I went they did not have the display so I finally called the Ashley Broadview location so they can do my exchange over the phone since the 1st couch I ordered didnt fit thru my hallway. I said to myself "ok, I hope it's good one" because I really dislike buying something I CAN'T sit on to feel the comfortness and fabric. The sofa is very hard. Talked to manager Vanessa if I can exchange said no because you bought it in store. So I guess if u buy online u can exchange but not if u bought from in store. I mean how can I know if I really like it if u have no displays in any of the stores. Would not recommend Ashley Furniture Store! $1200 for one sofa sleeper and hate it!!!

Horrible service. I bought a bedroom set and went to the Roseville warehouse to pick up. They gave me the wrong footboard size. I bought this on October 30th 2022 and I’ve yet to get the correct size footboard every time I call they have to create a new ticket ask for pictures and tell me someone will call me back.
We ordered bunk beds and two mattresses on October 15. The sales rep said the bunk beds were on backorder, but the mattresses were in stock. After the beds arrived, they kept telling my husband the mattresses were now on backorder and we ended up with a January 2023 ETA. I called customer service on 11.18.22 to cancel the mattresses and schedule the bunk bed delivery. The woman on the phone confirmed the bunks were hi be delivered 11.25.22. Today is 11.25.22 and I just called to see what time my delivery was scheduled for. They told me the ENTIRE order had been cancelled. So now I have to go into the store and reopen my order. Maybe it should be half of a star, it has been 2 + months since I called and complained about a delivery error that Ashley's staff made about my sofa. I already talked with a lot of people at Ashley and they keep postponing the delivery date, I already confirmed the specific time and date and suddenly they postpone it without any notification. It is so bad that a good furniture store with nice stuff has terrible customer service and delivery service. I probably not going to buy it here again.
We bought a couch thinking since it fit the room it wouldnt be an issue to get in. (we did measure before buying and had a non sleeper couch that could go in) Since the room had a tight corner and the couch was fully assembled before they brought it in, they said they couldn't do it. Please let your customers know the couches are fully assembled. We were able to make it work but disappointed how we wont have a couch in a specific room. Also, don't expect two people to lift a sleeper couch. It requires at least three people.

I will never go to Ashley furniture ever again. For being professionals they act like a matures. I ordered over $2500 in products and it's going on a month later. I've seen nothing but it's not my problem attitudes every person I've talked to about the whole order. I'd rather buy poor quality over fine quality since I will at least get what I paid for.
Worst store!! I have to wait 2 months for the furnature that I order when they delivered the dresser it was scratch!!! it will take another 1 month to replace it! Customer service suck!! the head board of the bed that I order not only has cratch pait we’re peeling off too they are trying to have people come to fix it I am still waiting another month for that too! Never buy furnature from this place.
We went to Ashley for a dining room table and had ample help from Matthew. He let us explore, but followed up with us when we found a great deal and even made sure we could take the table on a day not typically open for deliveries (we were carrying it out ourselves). Really appreciated his help as well as the kind woman at the pick up counter. Recommend!
Horrible experience. I bought a split king mattress. I was lied to by the sales guy as to it being available for quick delivery. Then I couldn't get ahold of him about it. When I finally got the mattresses the delivery guys were 90 minutes early and just tossed them into my living room and ran out the door. The plastic wrapping to one of them was all torn up and taped back together. After they left I unwrapped it and it was filthy dirty, had shoe prints on the bottom of it and was missing the warranty tags. I immediately called and complained and was told they had to send a tech out to inspect it in a few weeks and that they wouldn't replace it. I made a total of 8 calls, speaking with different managers and the store manager who finally got a swap out approved, but that was almost a full month out. Then that date came and went and I was told that all exchanges were put on hold and there was no estimated time as to when they'd be fulfilled. I called the store and said I was going to dispute this through my credit card company and they scheduled another delivery 2 weeks from that date. Those guys showed up randomly 5hrs early. The new mattress has long strings hanging about 16" long across the top. Something is wrong with this one. This setup was about $2300, and is the Sealy brand. Not a cheap mattress. I highly suggest going somewhere else to buy any furniture.

Was very pleased with the friendly service I received from the store manager and associate. Very knowledgeable and all my questions were answered. They even lifted the sofa so I could see if there were rubber feet for protection since I have new wooden floors. All in all the great service I received will have me coming back in the near future.

Still trying to understand how you are charged a restocking fee when the items you order are not in stock. Canceled my dining room table order after our delivery date kept getting pushed back due to items not being available, little to mo help from store.

Highly suggest NOT ordering any furniture from this company! I have been going back and forth with them on a dining room table since JULY 2ND! I understand we are all short staffed and need the help but this is ridiculous! The Warehouse has no communication with the store on any furniture or any availability or any time frame on when you will be receiving any type of furniture!
I had a very positive experience at the Ashley Furniture store in Broadview, Illinois. I went there to purchase a coffee table and some end tables. I had looked online and had an idea of what I wanted. So I showed the sales associate what I had in mind. Unfortunately they didn't have store samples but could order the tables. The sales associate then offered to show me some in store samples and I found a grouping that perfectly fits my tastes and needs. The associate was knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. I would recommend the store and will probably return to purchase additional pieces in the future.

This was honestly the worst furniture purchase experience I have encountered. Not only did I have to wait 11 months to receive all my furniture to finally fill up my first home purchase but after the second delivery I was sent the incorrect item. Customer service was great at noticing Ashley's error but still had to wait an additional 3 weeks to get the right dinner table. Of course I had to continue making the payments even though I didn't even have the furniture. I couldn't even invite anyone for a housewarming as I didn't have anywhere to sit them. Everywhere else I purchased furniture had no issue with deliveries. I get it, COVID, regardless. Worst experience ever. Sorry but I'll take my business elsewhere.

I am so upset. I was giving the run around because, I had three transactions on my account and no one could help me. Still, I do not know if my bed is coming in but again all my transactions say pending. If you do not know how to help a customer ,don’t out source to banks. No sorrys from anyone on the phone. Also,still don’t know if the bed coming. They said just wait. Well , good grief get it together. It’s been 5 days and not a word. Careful out there with these banks.

The Worst Place When It Comes To Delivery.. They Have You Waiting All Day Just To Say... We're Sorry But.. Your Delivery Date As Been Pushed Back 3 Weeks
I'm really dissatisfied with the runaround of my delivery date for all the furniture I ordered since July 3rd. I've been given different dates as to when the furniture will arrive, and that is to the warehouse not the actual delivery date for all my items have been unclear since I made the purchase. No one seems to be able to give me an answer as to when my furniture will be delivered. It's unacceptable.

Purchased almost $15k furniture at this store 5 yrs ago. We currently need more furniture so I called the store to see if previous salesperson still worked there. Went through several departments but nobody answers the phone despite calling on numerous days. Left messages twice. No return call. We went to store and after 10 minutes walking through store, couldn’t find one salesperson to help us so we gave up and left. Gave us the impression that this store may be going out of business. Such a shame because we had a good experience 5 years ago.
Went to a retail store and every item we selected they no longer carried - why even have them on your store website and why did the sales people chose them? Then they told me to go to the outlet and they may have it. We drove all the way to the burbs only to find they don’t even carry them in the outlet store. Then we went online with the sales person and everything we liked, they no longer carried. We finally found something - it was not even the 10th choice but we needed a sleeper sofa for guests coming. Every day we received phone calls, emails and texts saying that we had to confirm or the delivery would be cancelled so we confirmed three times a day when we received the notifications. A day of the delivery, we got a phone call and someone personally spoke to us and said that the driver would be there in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later we received a phone call from the driver saying that we were not even on their route and they have no idea why anybody put the sleeper sofa on their truck and that we would have to reschedule. I called and complained and after complaining a lot never heard anything. Two hours later we got a phone call saying that the delivery people were out front. They were supposed to come to the back where the car park and gates are so that they could carry it in to the house. I told the delivery people to bring it to the back. They just stood there and looked at me. Got a phone call saying hey the delivery people are there and they want to bring in the sofa and I told the person on the phone yes I’ve been telling them for the last 10 minutes to come to the back to bring it into the back door. Still they just stood there and looked at me like they had no idea if I was speaking English. Then after about 20 minutes they left.

Gabriel who is the manager and my sales person has the worst customer service ever! Whenever I call to check the status of my order he conveniently is on break or in a meeting and this is on a weekly basis. He does not return calls and no other manger there returns calls either. I have been waiting for an exchange order for over 1 year and he feels like like since he made the sale now it’s out of his hands. He also over charged me and won’t return my refund until my exchange is final which I have been waiting for over a year. I will be contacting corporate again about Gabriel and this matter.

I visited Ashley Furniture today. I saw the same table that I saw online only for 616 but in the store it was 999. I showed it to the salesman and he ask his manager. She said I can get it for 616. I am one happier person! Will be delivered on May 27!!!

I had originally wanted to give 5 stars because the sales person, Vanessa, was great, but then had a horrible experience so now giving it 1 star. I tried to get this resolved internally and proceeded to get the run around so here I am. The original delivery team stated my sofa would not fit in the freight elevator. I had no sofa and was desperate for one. I spoke with customer service. First time was told they would mark it a special delivery and they would have someone take it up the stairs. I confirmed they would be ok walking it up 12 flights and they said there would be no issue. I called back to confirm this and a date for a 2nd delivery and was told no, they cannot take it up the stairs. This was the only sofa I liked in the whole store so I called back a third time to cancel and was told I cannot cancel. I called back a 4th time and was told I could cancel. Someone suggested I go back out with the freight elevator dimensions so I took my second weekend day off to drive out there from the farthest east part of Chicago and had to borrow a friend's car to get out there. Turns out it would fit so we reordered. I requested if we could have the delivery fee waived because of the issues. The manager on duty that day (4/3) said she could not do anything to waive the fee and I would need to speak with customer service. When I asked to understand and speak to the manager she acted like she wanted nothing to do with me as a customer and was very standoffish. I called corporate customer service and they advised that due to it being a franchised location I needed to call their specific customer service. I spoke to that customer service and they said they could not do anything as it needs to be handled in store. I called the store and they said they would look into it and give me a call back. Never got a call back. The second delivery went seamless. The team that helped didn't understand why the original team even had an issue and stated some guys just don't want to work which is probably what happened. The customer experience was horrible and I would never recommend anyone to go here. I had a lot of personal and professional stresses happening at the time and this just added to it all and was really unpleasant. They will not take accountability when there was an issue on their end and all you get is the run around. I have worked retail and customer service for years and was appalled at how they handled my situation.

They were incredibly professional, patient and kind during our entire transaction so if you are in need of any furniture, this is the store and they are the people to see! Our new mattress is of high quality and perfect in every way! Even the deliver process was effortless! I went in on 11/3/2021 to get furniture. A kitchen table, bedroom set, and couch. Good thing I cancelled the bedroom set and couch or I would still be waiting for those items like I'm still waiting for my kitchen table. Received the kitchen chairs a month ago and still no table and I paid the items off in January thinking I would get my stuff sooner as well as being lied to by the manager of the store at the Broadview location. Horrible customer service, nobody knows what's going on in the store. Yes we are in a pandemic but nobody calls the customer for an update, customer service has no clue what's going on. I hate I ever did business with them. I just want my table and be done w them. I am never going to an Ashley Furniture again. I should have did my research because I have heard nothing but horror stories regarding Ashley Furniture. It's about 4 months next week...and still no table. I have 4 chairs and no table. I've spoken to managers, customer service, made complaints and no response. They do not care period. I've gotten my furniture from sellers who sale Ashley furniture quicker than the Ashley store itself. Tell me what sense does that make. If I do not have my furniture soon I will be going to the news stations.

The store manager Gabriel never keeps his words. He says he will follow up within 48 hours but never heard back from him for 5days and called the store, never had chance to talked to him. Andrea is same way too. They have blue color day bed displayed so I ordered same bed but gave me yellow one. It's been more than 5days, still they dont know if they have blue or not even they displayed blue one!!. I just moved from chicago to Melrose park and I need lots of new furniture!! I used to go niles location and they were pretty good. But this broadview location is not helpful. I guess they dont need my money. I am going back to niles store again today. Ashley main office should know about this store problem and I will find a way to contact head quarter office. Go other locations not here.
I went Ashley Home store located at 200 Broadview Village Square, Broadview, IL 60155. The service I received today was really poor. I walked into the store was greet by a sale rep. I explained to her about the purchase I was trying to make, she then walked me to a manager name(Tamika) I'm not really sure of the spelling of her name, but long story once I started to talk to ( Tamika) she was really rude she also act like she didn't want to be bothered. She also cut our conversation short, I was not able to explain why I was visiting the store. She basically didn't want to here anything I had to say. You can tell just by the she looks at people that she does not like what she do for a living. I will NEVER visit this location EVER again.
Sales person was Pamela Priami. She was patient with me, I happen to be very picky. She did try to show all options available as a comparison to what I liked. She did very well dealing with my husband's comedy and in the end, we decided on purchasing two sofas. She answered all my questions and I thought she was a fabulous salesperson!
This is a good furniture store. The employees very nice people. They give you the right information when you buy at that store. I give 5 stars because the ATENCION they have and kindness they treat you. The precises they low easy to pay such expenses is not bad. If I could give a negative rating I would. I find a set of furniture online that is listed as "outlet" and called around to stores to see if they had it in the showroom. I was told to call the outlet store which I did. I spoke to Teresa on Saturday morning g and she assured me they had it and she " was looking at it." I made the nearly hour drive the following Saturday to the store. We walked around for a while and we're finally approached by a salesman. I asked for Teresa and he just ignored that and asked what we were looking for. I showed him photos and he led us to the other store of the store where the items WEREN'T. He then took off to ask someone where they were and came back and said he was still looking. He avoided us after that, actually turning and walking away twice. We went to the customer service desk and spoke to a "manager" who said that the furniture was never in that store. When I asked about Teresa she got cagey and said she was "on leave". She barely even offered apologies nor did she offer to locate the furniture. I will NEVER step foot in Ashley Furniture again and recommend that no one else do so either.

I've been waiting for over 6 months for my furniture and cannot even receive a date for delivery. They have changed the date over and over again sayings it's a estimate date. You guys were quick to take my money but can't deliver what I purchased. So far it seems as if I just tossed $5000 in the garbage.

My first experience was awful. I decided to give them another shot. Well I went to one of their stores and had help from a manager. Told him I needed a small sofa in the 85,87 range. He told me they don't have those sizes. I ended up going to another one of their stores, and told my sales person name Michelle I needed a sofa that was in the 85, 87 range. She showed me a few sectionals that come in the sofa. Those were the same sectionals that I looked at in the other store. So glad she had the knowledge that she did. I ended up getting 2 sofas that I Loved, and delivery was that following week, and my sofa was the perfect size
As I first walked in Andrea had greeted me and ask if I need any help on finding anything particular, I had let her know I was looking for a bed frame and was quite open to all options. She advised me where the bed frames where located at around the store and to reach out if I had any questions. I took a look at all bed frames and was interested in two. She had help me understand the financial situation of getting the frame. As soon I choose one I ended up getting the whole bedroom set for a good price ! She was wonderful and big great help when it came down to getting it all done. I'll be getting my set in the next two weeks. I didn't realize how easy and affordable the process would be. I'm excited! THANK YOU ANDREA.

However, I had come with a mission to take a look at a particular sectional before deciding to buy it that day (little did Pamela know). I am only giving 5 stars because a different agent Danielle saved the day. She followed me a few minutes (I believe to allow me to cool off) before asking if she could help me find something. Fast forward , she was very patient, helpful and such a pleasure to work with that my husband and I were happy to purchase from her. We did not take store credit, we paid in full. I hope Danielle receives a great commission. I don't know what was going on with Pamela, but her curt tone and attitude was very unprofessional. It almost cost the store a customer, and it definitely cost her the sale. Congrats to Danielle for outstanding customer care.

Horrible experience. I purchased sofas back in March and did not receive my complete order until September. Quality wise it’s the poorest. Sofas broke within a few weeks. That’s when we realized that its made of the cheapest wood. It doesn’t have springs instead it’s made with a sort of trampoline that doesn’t feel sturdy. Cushions are already flattened in less than 2 months. We paid over 2000 dollars and got only the appearance not the quality. This furniture store is a Rip-off . Customer Service was also awful. I will never shop here again.

On 8/28/2021 my Mom got on the Hurston/Sterns & Foster mattress product # 1489597, this bed is what my mom order with the blue base cover with the brown remote,. Ashley sales manager and sales person sold my mom a Rockwell LXP Queen product # 1489609, and the bed base was black with a short black remote. Not what my mom ordered. mattress we didn’t order. Not only did they send my mom a mattress she didn’t select , they did the same thing with the base. And the manger was aware what my mom originally purchased. When they delivered the bed and base on 8/28/21 I told the delivery guy this wasn’t why we ordered in the store he immediately called customer and the young lady told me not to take the plastic back she would speak with the store when they open. She didn’t get back to me so I called the store and customer seer dept. spoke to Penny she said she would have her manager follow-up with me. This never happen instead the mattress had a light red stain on it and other dark spots on the mattress. Until this day they refuse to exchange my mom mattress or bed base. And we are in a pandemic and my mom has to be force to take a spiked nasty mattress she didn’t order but been charged for. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE IN BROADVIEW

I just left the Broadview store. I came to buy. I walked around for approximately 20- 30 minutes. No one spoke to me or offered to help. I left the store pist.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. We went in to buy living room sofas, and once we had already paid and signed everything we were informed about the 6 to 8 week delivery. We were concerned and the guy Alex told us not to worry, it would be 6 to 8 weeks at the most. So 10 weeks pass and after many phone calls to their corporate number and store (where our call is forwarded to a prerecorded message that says we don't have a delivery date for your order yet and hangs up on you) we finally get through to a rep who says it'll be delivered next week, wait for a call to schedule. The week passes with no call so we call the number again and this time the rep says sorry we actually didn't have your order scheduled. At this point we ask for a refund and the rep asks if we wanted to wait another week or so in case they get a delivery date by then and of course we said no since there wasn't any sort of guarantee they'd have any sort of update. Then they ask if we want to buy something else that MIGHT get delivered on time with again no guarantee we'd ever see the sofas. They took our money fast enough but couldn't at least give us the courtesy of being honest or even answer our calls. Never buying from Ashley again. Don't trust the salesmen here, all they want is your money and will say whatever they need to to get it.

I’ve had the worse possible experience with Ashley Furniture this year. I purchased a bed and dresser from this location on June 6th,2021 and the sales person lied and told us our dresser was in stock and our bed would be ready for delivery in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I received a text and call saying my items were ready to schedule delivery but then when I called back the customer service they had no idea what I was talking about and my items needed 2-3 more weeks. They were very rude and didn’t even apologize for the miscommunication on their end. The system told me my items were ready 2 more times and I went thru the same confusion with customer service. Each time my delivery window was pushed back, even though the initial sales person obviously told us our dresser was in stock to close the sale, because after talking to the manager and multiple customer service agents they’re not even able to see items being in stock that way. Fast forward 6 weeks, the dresser is available and Ashley Furniture said they waved the delivery fee and offered a 5% refund for the inconvenience. I’ve never seen that compensation. I received a call my items were finally ready mid July but only my dresser was delivered and my head board to my bed, the remaining parts to the bed will be another 13-15 weeks. Yes, by October my order will be POSSIBLY be complete. I understand we can’t predict delivery windows with Covid but my items were paid in full and communication has been incredibly inconsistent and poor. The manager Dalia of this store said things wouldn’t be pushed out any further after 4 delays and she’d call me personally with an update. I’ve heard nothing since that call over 2 months ago. Lastly, the dresser that was delivered is incredibly defective. 2 drawers DONT open properly and the bottom was delivered damaged. So please for your own sanity Dont purchase anything from Ashley Furniture especially this location the sale is more important than customer service. Then company wide they’re so disorganized, the website, customer service, and the delivery service everything is disconnected. We still don’t have a bed and after calling dozens of times and repeating my story I’m just out $1,000+ and still missing my full order going on 3 months with no solution in sight. Save yourself the headache and keep shopping at IKEA or literally anywhere else. I never leave reviews and I’ve tried to give the benefit of the doubt for months but I’ll do anything to save someone else from this experience.
Great shopping showroom but delivery a different story. Took 6 months for my bedroom set to deliver. Two bedroom sets total. Wrong pieces were sent. Boxed items were damaged. Numerous deliveries for different items. Not all items arrive at the same time. Sales people ordered wrong pieces. Delivery dates kept getting pushed back. Several calls to store and no discounts no anything for any of this inconvenience. Overall very horrible shopping experience with this store. Do not buy from here unless you want to experience headaches.

Ashley will not discount the cost of the 2 damaged chairs or scratches in table either. I want the entire set picked up at this point since Ashley furniture clearly cannot deliver this item Undamaged. The worst customer service on the phone and in store. Do not shop here. Go to darvin. I have never had the worst customer experience EVER! I just bought a home went in the store got a pretty good deal ordered almost everything the sales rep never told me I was not going to get any of my furniture in months and it doesn’t end there today I was scheduled for part of my delivery and here I am waiting cancelled all my plans I call and the customer care lady tells me my delivery was cancelled delivery guy had an emergency they didn’t even bother to notify me!!! When you call them they tell you to not hang up to leave a survey to agent never hanged up and then ended my call so I would not leave a survey unbelievable! I ordered my chairs from Macy’s got them in three day I regret buying my furniture from Ashley no quality customer service not being clear upfront on all the delays!
The Representatives at this store are always friendly and able to help. Why I gave him four stars is because of the warehouse. They probably don’t have anything to do with each other, but it’s all about the all-around experience. The warehouse team makes way too many mistakes which is frustrating for the customer. The warehouse team is also not showing accountability for mistakes they make during delivery processes.

I have spent months saving money so I could purchase a nice sectional for my home. I found the perfect sectional on their website and saw the delivery date would be July 3rd. I jumped on the opportunity and purchased the sectional. I received an email stating my delivery date was scheduled and would be for July 3rd. I decided to use their online chat system to inquire about when I would receive a phone call with my delivery window. The customer service agent I chatted with proceeded to tell me the couch wouldn’t be in stock until July 30th. When I told her I received a delivery date of July 3rd and provided her the email showing this, she told me she could only tell me what she saw on my account. So I decided to call and speak with a customer service agent who told me the sectional wouldn’t be delivered until the end of August. No explanation of why the delivery date I was provided was wrong. No apologies. She offered me a 50 dollar gift card in exchange for not canceling my order. I declined and said I would like to cancel my order. She then told me it would take almost 2 weeks to receive a refund. The hard earned money I put away for this sectional is now out of reach for 2 weeks. All my excitement in buying my first sectional for my first apartment is squashed. Just a sad experience Had I not reached out in the first place I would’ve been sitting around thinking I was going to receive the sectional this weekend. Update: I told my fiancé about the issue. He decided to call customer service himself. Apparently the agent I spoke too never even canceled my order after telling me she did.

I recently went to Ashley furniture to purchase a dining table and Enzo was there to help us out. He was very friendly and well knowledgeable on the products he was selling. He was able to answer all our questions. Thank you Enzo! I initially rated my experience 5 starts but I had to change it because I had a simple questions regarding my pick up date so I had called the store’s number multiple times, however, no one picked up. I am not exaggerating when I say that I called the store about 20 times and left a voice mail. I even talked to the call center people and they were not able to help me and told me to call the store directly. I ended up going back to the store in person in order to clarify my pick up date. It took 1 minutes for them to answer my question. They told me that the person who answers the phone had already left so that’s why no one was picking up the phone. There was plenty of people working there who could have answered the phone. I should not have had to go back in person to have a simple question answered. This is poor customer service.

Had to update my review to one star. I’d honestly give zero stars if I could. When we walked in, we were greeted by a sales person but we gave him specific things we were looking for in a bed frame/headboard: tufted but now metal button details. He proceeded to show us some options but all of the ones he showed us had the metal button details so I figured ok they just don’t have what we’re looking for so we were on our way out when we saw the perfect one: TUFTED WITH NO METAIL BUTTON DETAIL. I was confused because being a salesperson myself, I’m aware of what my company offers and I listen to my customers wants and needs and I offer them products accordingly. So when I saw the one on our way out, I was confused as to why he didn’t show us this specific one. Anyhow, I knew I needed to speak to someone to actually purchase it so we had to call him over and let him know we found what we were looking for. Almost so hesitant to give him the “sale” as he really didn’t help us find what we wanted. So we placed the order with him, found an ottoman as well and we did the 6mos financing to take advantage of the discount offer. I was a little confused with how it worked because after everything was signed, he said “you’ll get the card in the mail” I guess that’s on me, I should have asked questions but I didn’t realize it was going to be a store credit card. Having worked retail in the past, I made to disclose to my customers BEFORE they agreed and signed that it was a STORE CREDIT CARD that they were applying for. Sure fine print may say it all, but if you’re talking to a human being you’d think that’s something they would disclose. So we left, happy we found what we had in mind (even though on our own) and I left the 5 stars. Little did I know it would just go downhill from there. So when I placed the order he said estimated date was March 25 for the bedframe/headboard and May for the ottoman. We said perfect our move in date at our new place was March 26 so he said it would be delivered some time that weekend. Move in date came and no delivery. Nothing all weekend either. So I called and I checked on the order and they told me, your new delivery date is April 1. I said ok a little weird that I didn’t even get a call or email to get this update but fine cool April 1. April 1 came and went, no call or update so I called again and they told me April 6. By this point I’m already pretty upset because they keep moving the date and I’m not getting notified. The person I talked to said they would update and make sure I now get updates. April 6 came and went and nothing so I called again and now they said they will escalate to the warehouse and give me a call back. I even called the store and spoke to my salesperson at this point. He called and he said the manager from the warehouse said that it’s on the way, two business days, then they can schedule a delivery for me for the following week, April 14 or April 15. at a joke of a company. So then I get a call to confirm delivery for the bed on Thursday April 15 from someone in delivery. Feeling done, I just agreed and said ok. So I get a text 4/13 saying click here to confirm delivery and guess what’s on my list to be delivered??? Not my bed, lol. The ottoman is on the list. The ottoman they said would be delivered May. So I called shipping and delivery customer service this morning to make sure maybe it was a glitch. Come to find out, thursdays delivery is indeed the ottoman (no one told me the ottoman even arrived) and that the bedframe/headboard is there but no delivery has been scheduled. She then said well we can do delivery for Saturday for the bed. I just laughed

Never purchasing anything from this store ever again. If I could I would have put no stars at all because recently my family and I have renovated our basement and we have decided to purchase a couch that were 3 parts. We have made this order since september and first we received only 2 parts and we realized that one of the parts were ripped and the third part still hasnt arrived yet. So we made calls and we were told that we would receive the third part early december but we never received until late january. Once it arrived the recliner didnt work. So today february 22 they were supposed to replace the ripped part and the one that was not reclining and when they delivered both of them the new one with the recliner was completely broken so now we have to call once again and wait probably another 3 months to receive a working couch that we were supposed to have since early december. We understand that we are in a pandemic but waiting this long and for it to arrive the second time broken again is just not acceptable. Please dont buy furniture from this ridiculous place.
WORST PLACE FOR FURNITURE 3 times for delivery and THREE times the table came in ruined. The drivers even looked shocked of what was delivered from the warehouse. DO NOT purchase tables. Calling customer service as I'm giving this review. I will only change my review if I get some compensation or something is done as reimbursement. 5 months waiting for a 3 set coffee table is just pure craziness.

We were surprised at the long lead time, but went along with it. January 23 delivery bumped back to February 17, then February 20. Called to confirm delivery on February 18, and am told that delivery is now bumped back to March. Finally fed up with endless delays and excuses, and cancelled the order. Around Black Friday of 2019 my wife and I bought a Couch and dining sets from Ashley furniture store. We bought the protection plans for about $170.00 for 5 years protection, because we were convinced by the sales representative that this plan would cover Andy damage to furnitures. 8 month later our Couch started to peals and the dining sets started the same. When we call the insurance or protection plans, We were told that they do not cover those kind of damages. Ashley should be honest to their customers and it should not be about commission. I would not recommend anyone to buy any protection plans which will never covers none.
Ordered couch and love seat 8-31-2020 and still have not received the couch. Was told because of Covid we would not get our couch until Nov 30th. I called on Nov 30th to see where my couch was and they told me I would not be getting it until Feb 24th of 2021 Very disappointed we were never called with an update and it’s going to take 6 months to get a couch! We never would have ordered. Was also promised a gift card for the inconvenience and never received it.

Mattresses and box springs where suppose to arrive today (11/19/20) for my 3 teenagers. No one called to let us know that they were being delayed. Called yesterday and were told that delivery was pushed back to 11/30/20. Received a call this morning letting us know that they are now delayed until 1/4/21. Overall great experience with Mary at the Broadview IL store. She was extremely attentive, helpful and extra patient with our requests. Only gave 4 stars since several items we inquired about weren’t available as quickly as we liked. In the end, she found a piece we are hoping to receive next week *fingers crossed*.
Salesperson was completely lame. Didn't seem interested in trying to sell anything. This was 12/8/2020. Otherwise the store itself is good with a lot of selection. Lastly, they sell a lot of bonded leather furniture, a product offered by 3M. It's only rated to last for three years. I encourage this retailer to invest in cloth based furniture. Anyway, I went to La-Z-Boy. I purchased a cloth love seat and it was comparably priced.
The sales rep was very professional and easy going-the experience was quick and straight forward-also furniture arrived even before the promise date. Will definitely go back.

I have always had a bad experience at Ashley Furniture. I guess the only reason I go back is because my husband likes the 5yr free interest. Broadview Il Worst Costumer Service ever ! .We went the the one in Lombard Il same thing.I will never recommen Ashley Furniture to anyone.I rather go somewhere else. Not even worth 1Star rating.
Update 1: Well buying the furniture was easy, but actually receiving it was different. Supposed to be delivered today between 9a - 12p. No one showed. Couldn't get a hold of anyone at the store so called corporate and was on hold with them for an hour. They told me someone should be calling me from the store by 4p and no surprise, I haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed. Update 2: Called back to the corporate number and re-explained the situation. Was told it was the store's fault and I need to talk with them. When I stated I was disappointed with the communication and service she hung up on me.
So buying the furniture was no issue. Receiving it as promised? That's the issue. I was promised delivery today between 9a-12p from the store in Broadview. I called at 11:30a to confirm and have been unable to get a hold of anyone. I've tried calling/e-mailing both corporate and the Broadview location several times and have been on-hold for about 20 minutes now. No one has called me to explain that there would be a delay in the process.
Spent at least 45 min inside this store without being acknowledged. A bunch of useless folks standing around talking. Terrible customer service!! I'll never return and I'll spend my money elsewhere.
My experience with the sales representatives were awesome during this COVID-19 issues. The professionalism but gave concern/care with laughter. Which is needled in a time like now. This is my 3rd time purchasing with this particular location on 17th and Cermak. I truly believe in how a person is treated, I experienced teamwork and support among each of them. Save yourself time and headaches. Do not deal with this poorly managed company!! I purchased a bedroom set on August 29. Twice, the store rescheduled my delivery. I understand things can come up and was very patient with them rescheduling the first 2 times. However on my most recently rescheduled date of 10/31(2 months after purchase), they went as far as to confirm the day before and then again the morning of the 31st, only to call me 30 minutes before my scheduled delivery slot, to let me know that they needed to cancel yet again. At this point I had already broken down my child’s bunk beds and thrown it out to clear way for the new bed. Now, not only do I not have the new furniture that I have paid 100% for over a month ago, but I already disassembled the bed that my son slept on, leaving him with no bed at all. As I explained this to the person on the phone, letting her know that we needed the delivery that day. She told me I would need to call the store and hung up on me. The store is incredibly hard to reach, they do not answer the phone. Once I did reach someone, both people were terribly rude. I got everything I wanted even though the delivery times were a little longer than I wanted. Fast forward, I move into my new house and a sofa I already owned was not able to fix in the house so I knew I had to change my newly purchased furniture. I went back to the store and Tekuita was not there but a sales rep named Tommy helped me out. He was so nice, patient, informative and showed me every single piece of furniture he thought may fit in my space. I'm sure they work off some kind of commission so since Tekuita had already made the sell, Tommy didnt have to be as helpful as he was. He could have missed other new clients walking in the store for assistance during the time he helped me, which I think was at least an hr and half. So if you're looking for furniture, ask for Tommy. He was a great sales rep and showed great customer service.

I talked to the same people in customer service tells me yes we see the address change but are not sure why they delivered to the old address. The lady was so very rude and hangs up on me. I go to my old address and find out the furniture has been set out on the street. I pay a family member to help bring the furniture to my new home. Someone calls me today and I told her that we had to get the furniture move on our own no one has called to apologize for what happened. I will never shop with them nor will I recommend them to anyone
As always, Ashley delivered impeccable customer service. Luis helped me pick out a new mattress today and the experience was excellent. I was greeted at the door, walked to the mattress department, and Luis was professional, courteous and thorough. I never felt rushed or pressured. I love this store. It was such a relief when the GM called me personally and told me what the resolution was. All this was an honest mistake and this pandemic did not make it better. But this store took ownership of the issue and took care of me. Cannot be happier. Now I’m hoping my furniture shows up when it was said. Edit: I’m changing this review for now because it turns out that not the entire bed has been ordered. I originally placed this order back in AUG and now in OCT I’m finding out this. As we walked in Okeefe greeted us and asked the normal questions like what are you looking for, what kind of style and all that. He pointed us to where he thought we might be a good place to start but then something strange happened. HE DIDNT FOLLOW US. At that point i knew it was going to be different. We went in knowing that we have already purchased from Darvin’s but my wife and I walked in to see if there was something we were missing. We looked around while Okeefe stayed around accessible. When my wife and I knew we might be interested in knowing more info on promos, Okeefe was right there in a flash. Okeefe was so down to earth and telling us more about Ashley Furniture. At the end even though I was thinking to call Darvin to see if they can do something with the price and shipping I decided against that because Okeefe was such a great people person and I wanted to give him the sale. We ended up spending about the same if not a couple hundred more but my wife and i were happy with the style that was available. I was more pleased with the service I got from Okeefe. I hope Okeefe never changes and I hope his selling style gets picked up by more and more furniture sales people.
Don’t shop or buy from Ashley on Cermak and 17th ave. I bought a sectional from them back in November 2018 and try to make a claim 18months later and got declined for no reason. Came to the store to try and see if I could get some help and nothing. Sectional didn’t last 18months won’t shop here anymore

Went in Sunday to purchase a bedroom set I had priced a couple day prior at another location. Upon entering there were two male employees standing at the door. Neither greeted me nor asked if I needed assistance. I ended up literally walking the whole store TWICE looking for the set I'd come to purchase. I passed 4 employees total in this duration. Three men and a woman that NOTHING about her looked welcoming, helpful or interested in my concerns. I eventually looked up on their website (via MY phone) and realized they had another headboard, but the same set. I decided to leave because I HATE bad customer service, especially when I'm spending money. As I was leaving, one of the men, who is STILL standing at the door, asked if he could assist me or if I had some questions. I explained that I had, but now I was leaving because I could never get any assistance. I left and went right to another store and spent my money....and it was appreciated!!! Why are you posted at the door f not to capture customers as soon as they come in?? You should know if a person comes in on a Sunday EVENING, they are most likely be there to purchase not browse. FRAUDULENT EXPERIENCE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I am contacting you today for help. I hope that you are responsible enough to not only respond but also help me. You were very quick to help me before the sale, to be nice and kind, then took my money. I was promised quality furniture and paid the price for it. My sales person sold me on your quality and assured me that your furniture will last at least 10+ years. That is what Ashley Furniture is known for. Nevertheless, what threw me off was, as I was getting ready to pay, I was asked if I wanted to purchase a 5-year warranty? It was explained, to me, for a small cost, “It is just added protection, just in case something happens during those 5 years. Okay, fine. The Sale agent did not have anything for me to read before deciding but ensured me it will cover everything, as an added insurance. However, said all the info is in the paperwork, which was given to me after I paid. I trusted Ashley Furniture... Within 5 months, I noticed my table breaking down, there appeared buckling and discoloration. I have been trying since then to reach Ashley for months but it is as you are hiding from me because I want to use the warranty you sold me. Actually, this should still be covered under the original 1-year warranty, but I also paid for the added extra protection. Literally, I am double covered. Finally, you sent a tech out and I am not sure exactly why, but you are refusing to replace it! Your quality is not what you promise. If your furniture falls apart in 5 months, especially because we use it sparingly. You sell me on the quality, then you sell me on this great 5-year warranty, but like you tell other customers, “Oh, Your issue isn’t covered by the warranty.” It seems that no one’s warranty claims are covered by warranty. So why do you sell it to us? Just to add revenue? Alternatively, maybe someone in your organization is mistaken and does not know why we purchase the added protection and/or is trying to look good for your organization and is falsely trying to make his/her guarantee claims department look good. I liked the table I purchased, but you sold me a lemon, as it seems others have too along with a warranty that is a farce! This location was great. The place was super nice and organized. We were greeted, but not hounded, upon entry and Tommy our salesman gave us good general info on where to find certain things, such as the couches we were looking for. We took our time walking around the store checking the different pieces out and he checked in on us at perfect intervals so we didn't feel like we were being stalked when we showed any interest in a particular piece. We ended up making a purchase from here and again Tommy was great in helping facilitate the purchase and helping confirm delivery dates. Would recommend this particular location to all looking for new furniture.

I purchased a recliner sofa & love seat apx. 1-1/2 yrs. ago with a deal they had with end tables, lamps, rugs & centerpiece for table..I purchased another recliner sofa, same brand to complete my family room..The service this location provides is top notch..Delivery of sofa was timely, they unwrapped the sofa before they brought it in & took all the garbage with them...put it right where I wanted it..Great, great job from start to finish!!!!!!!! Till my furniture started peeling, 1 year later.... Very disappointed

No one greeted me no one came by me for 20 mins I walked to the back asked the girls sitting to set me up to finance they helped me get a loan then finally someone came to help me after I was approved . Today they delivered my mattress and said they wouldn’t go up 5 flights of stairs because they aren’t covered by there ins to do so , why didn’t anyone tell me this when I bought the furniture . I have been calling all morning and no one is answering to speak to someone about this
I've had two great experiences at tow different Ashley Home Stores. I was welcomed and helped through the entire process of both of my purchases. Great store and great quality! I've visited both Schaumburg and Broadview IL stores.

The young man that helped me was very nice! He was helpful at making sure of the products, with coupon was best & about deliver coming from warehouse! My last visit in December was not great! The young put my info in wrong and I got declined the credit card! Because she was not knowledgeable! The Broadview store manager was great also!

Scheduled a time for furniture to be delivered been waiting 2.5 hours after scheduled time and still nothing.. called Ashley’s furniture to see what was going on and the girl over the phone said “I’m sorry but there’s a delay, your furniture will be there in the next hour.” And still past that hour nothing.. why schedule a certain time if you can’t commit?

I have such a hard time choosing things, I couldn't pick a couch on my 1st trip to the store but Chris was super patient and informative. So today when I went in to make my purchase Chris wasn't there and I almost left but Okeefe was so helpful and inviting, he wasn't like an annoying salesman. He was able to assist me and he made sure that Chris was also named on the purchase. I will visit this location again when I update my bedroom.

This Ashley Homestore is TERRIBLE! I ordered furniture from this store and was given a different price then what i originally seen online( look out for this). After speaking with the manager the young man did change the prices, however, don’t expect your stuff to be delivered on time. Had to have the delivery team come out to my house TWICE! The first time my furniture was DAMAGED. They second time they came earlier then the time slot and did not want to wait for me to arrive. At this point, I couldn’t take it anymore. I canceled my order. The delivery company was not willing to help get my furniture to me sooner. When asked to speak to a manager they would never allow me to do so. Order at your own risk. I personally would not recommend to family and friend. Ashley please work on getting a new delivery company and making sure your prices match up. Terrible experience!
Never buy anything again. I have purchased this bed frame and I need something to support. Then went to the store where they misled me to buy a wooden slat instead of a boxspring. Then, I went to store again and tried to explain that this thing did not fit and they reply that they had no return/change policy! The customer service has opened a ticket but nobody called. Isn't that a simple thing to change a slat with a boxspring! In conclusion, this store is terrible with its lack of knowledge and careless workers as well as with a no solution customer service. In case, be careful before signing any document where they write on somewhere paper about "no return policy" thing that nobody will explain this during purchase.

Bought 3 pieces from here on two different occasions. Salesman Chris is the BEST. Very patient and truly WANTS to help you find what you are looking for.....not just trying to make a sale. Not pushy and was very considerate of me getting around the huge showroom in my wheelchair. Cant wait for my new loveseat to arrive !!!!!

My wife and I walked in there and she walked up to us and asked us if we needed help and we said yes then we told her we’re just looking for chest drawers and she took us showed us everything they had she helped us pick these two out the color I love it matches the room color. They have very nice furniture in there some of the best ! I told her I went to Walmart and bought some there for over a little over 120 bucks each but I had to built these and soon enough they started to fall apart worst decision I have ever made in my life because of that . At Ashley’s furniture we didn’t have to built them , all we had to do was put on the handles which was very easy and we got a one year warranty that we won’t need because the furniture there is well built strong enough to move around with clothes still in there .. MARICELA AGUIRRE ALSO HELPED WITH OUR DELIVERY SERVICE WICH WASN’T THAT EXPENSIVE AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE . THEY CAME ON TIME AND EVEN MESSAGED ME 10 mints before arriving.. After a whole day of looking and 4 furniture stores later, we FINALLY found what we were looking for! My wife and I were greeted by Chris, who was not pushy at all and gave us plenty of time to browse at our own pace, but attentive enough to not forget about us, like most other places did. We found the perfect sectional for our new home, and at a great price. Chris helped us get approved for financing and it was as simple as that! We were out of the door with delivery within 2 days! The prices of there furniture online is much cheaper than the prices in the stores and the sales person will not tell you about the cheaper online prices cause they want they commission on the regular price furniture. I try calling many times to get my price match on my furniture and nobody answers the phone,you are on hold the almost 30 minutes. I will never go back to Ashley Furniture for anything again.

My husband and I came in today looking for a living room set for our apartment with my parents and were assisted by Chris Franco who was incredibly patient with my questions and general indecisiveness on which set I wanted. We purchased a set and it is set to come in in a week. I will update this review when we receive the set. Thanks Chris! Edite: my couches look amazing I love them. Delivery guys were awesome and kind. Weeks into having then they are super comfy and retain their form.

Wish there was a way to rate a store less than one star. I've never encountered such a poor experience and worst customer service from beginning to end. I went into store early September to purchase mattress and frame. I was told bed was in stock and not until the day before I was them told partial frame was backordered. Delivery drivers attempted to leave partial shipment which was rejected. Over a month later finally received bedframe and upon assembly was damaged. Told by delivery men I had 24-72 hours to return. I went into store and spoke with Manager Ceasar and sales rep Takita. I agreed to exchange and as of today I've lost 4 days of work, vacation cut short and today exchange was scheduled between 1:45-4:45pm. Not to my surprise I was called at 10AM to inform me items did not make it on the truck and can't deliver until next week. I've never been so frustrated and disappointed in a company for the exception one employee Delia.

I bought some sofas and I tried to cancel the order because they were to big for my living room. The lady was very rude saying that the sales was going to be upset. The manager was busy or step out. VERY RUDE people. Kept hanging up on me. Sales person was off and didn’t want to help us. Never again!

We bought a 3200.00 leather sofa and love seat! I’ll keep this short. We took out our old furniture also bought from Ashley store. Anyways, we took out our furniture to make room for the new recently purchased sofa and love seat. We proceeded to remove from our living room thinking we were going to be getting our NEW FURNITURE. The delivery department called me 1 day to confirm delivery from 12:00pm-4:15pm so we waited and waited between those times we were told! Keep in mind we have NO MORE FURNITURE in our living room. So basically, it was 415 and yet haven’t received ANY PHONE calls with updates in regards our delivery! Hence, I decided to call Ashley and see what’s going on? So they answered me and basically tell me that “they called me and there was no answer”. I was literally shocked that this was the excuse for them not delivering my furniture. They called me a second time after we spoke and she tells me “ Sir the truck broke down” that’s why you didn’t get your furniture. So now we have 2 excuses for them screwing up my delivery and furniture. At this point I tell the lady! “I want to cancel my purchase since you guys don’t care about the customer” so she proceeded to transfer me to Ashley. So the representative from Ashley answered the phone and when I started to tell her I want my purchase cancel. He literally hangs up the phone on me. Keep in mind ladies and gentlemen I’ve already paid for my furniture. Anyways they did honor the cancellation to my order and basically didn’t have any remorse or guilt for the FAILURE that their company did. TERRIBLE experience and will NEVER EVER go back! I did also canceled my 9000.00 credit with Ashley. I hope this helps to future buyers at Ashley? PS. Dropped ball
Went there to buy a king size temperpedic mattress and furniture for my living room. Maricela was awesome she had excellent customer service and made everything go smooth for us. Definitely going back and asking for Maricela .
Very disappointing. My couch was suppose to come from 2-5pm. No notification during that time on my order status, even though they sent me a confirmation two days before saying they were coming. I decided to call at 5 and the lady on the phone said my order was changed to come the week after. I received no notification on this change. I had a friend from out of town and we had to change all our plans to go back home and wait for a couch that never came. I was told by friends to not order from Ashley, but decided to try them anyways because I really liked this couch and even had to wait 3 weeks for it to be ready. Now I am waiting a month for it to come. Highly do not recommend them, and they have a history of messing up orders. Get it together Ashley, people are paying lots of money and taking time out of their day to wait for their purchase!

I have been in business with Ashley furniture since 2015. Most of my furnitures are from them. Staff was great Ricardo was one of the best sales person they have there, but he resigned. I think most of the sales rep now are new. Tracy the new manager is great to work with very precise and professional with what she does,but the new staff needs improvement with their communication skills whatsoever the sales person Colleen doesn’t know what she’s doing when she called and ask for my monthly payment gave me the wrong amount, a totally different amount from my actual monthly payment. and Thank God I verified it with the manager and apologize for her behalf. I try to understand since she is new and that was the first incident with her. I’m not into sales but in medical field so as much as possible I try to to give the best service as possible to all my patients and I think same thing goes through with sales. The customers invest their time and money to the company so give your best service to them no matter what

If you are looking for a place to be threatened,intimidated and disrespected,look no more. Google doesn't allow enough characters for me to post all the abuse I endured by the manager Cesear and customer service rep ( I use that term loosely)Dalia. I have reported my concerns to the Better Business Bureau, the Ashley Home Store Corporate office and posted a full review on Yelp. I strongly encourage you to go anywhere else for a furniture purchase.
We ended up walking out . The first salesman couldn't answer our question about a mattress we wanted so he went to get someone who could. We were in the room alone for a few moments then a woman with her child came in. The first salesman went and got the other salesman however since he was Hispanic he went to the Hispanic woman instead of coming to is who was there first. We waited over 15 minutes then left. That was very rude. I'll buy my mattress elsewhere.

I place an order they tell me it was gonna be delivered in one week and guess what i just got my mattress then the rest of my bed they tell me i suppose to get it in 1 week never got anything i just got a call it will be delivered in August 3rd now i was gonna be late to my job and I end not going because my delivery never showed up I keep calling lorenzo and they always tell me hes with a customer o he left for the day this is really frustrating I used to by my furniture from Ashley now I'm really upset I'm thinking in switching to a different furniture store cause nobody do anything 😕😕😕
Horrible service i wish i could give negative 10 stars. When my delivery finally arrived, the sectional was not even what i ordered. After calling customer and being told to got o the store to attempt re delivery the next day, i found out that sales could not even enter the correct part number for the furniture i ordered. So now i do not have couches because the sales person COULD NOT to their job correctly. Then customer service at the front desk in Broadview still assured me that i would get the couches redelivered the following Wednesday. I call today to confirm and what a surprise , i will not get delivery until Friday (supposedly). Are you kidding me?? I asked for Wednesday off at work so i can be home to receive the furniture and NOW after I call, i found out this will not happen until Friday. Ashley did not even have the decency to call me with a heads up. i am so done with Ashley furniture, they are a joke and no one can even pwn up to the mistakes and misinformation they provide. Must be nice to work at a place that seems to reward incompetence.
I wish I could give less than one star. There customer service was not pleasant to deal with after they guaranteed we would receive what we ordered by a certain date and changed the date multiple times on us. We eventually canceled the order but the process was strenuous, took a long time over the phone and they hung up multiple times, including the store manager, on us. We then later called the customer care line to not receive much help, even after letting them know the store manager hung up on us trying to find a solution to our problem. Needless to say we will no longer be shopping at Ashley Furniture and would not reccomend them in the future to anyone as well.

There has been an increase in the quality and design of the furniture since I last visited 10 years ago. At that time, the furniture and accessories were blinged out with mirrors, crystals and assorted metallic fabrics. There are still some of those pieces, but on the while, the furniture is nice, sold by the piece or by sets and is reasonably priced. Delivery and 5 year warranty also available.
To make a sale the sales lady told me I could pick up on Sunday. Unless she didn't know what day it was. I made a purchase 5/25/19 and was told if I got a truck I could pick up tomorrow (today). Only to find out once I rented a truck spending damn near $200 for it, not being able to pick up my furniture because pick ups are Monday-Friday. Monday being Memorial Day Holiday. Why in the hell would I rent a truck, waste my time, energy & money only to be told I could not pick up purchased furniture? The furniture I bought was from the outlet and would be still on the floor for anyone to damage, not taken off the floor, so I'm trying to pick it up asap. So I canceled the purchase, this location, told me something that wasn't true. My friend was with me and she said she heard the same thing. The sales lady said you can get it tomorrow. This location won't be in business as long, as they play this game say whatever to make the sale, expecting you to get it on there terms & not honoring the terms that was told to you. Don't waste your time shop some where's else. Talk to the manager he's an idiot too, he said come get your money back, guess what, I did...I will never go here again

Rushed to make a sale. During the delivery the delivers asked me if I wanted them to take out my old couches and I said yes(initially I told them my husband would do it when he got home, but they offered so why not). Later that day I got a called from my sales man accusing me of telling the delivery men that he told me they would remove it and now he’s in trouble with the company. (not my problem) To make matters worse when he left me the voicemail he said it a “life and death situation” I was very annoyed when I found out this was the life and death situation. Whenever you call the store the women that answer sound so annoyed and their tone is just rude overall. Your in customer service ladies why don’t you learn some? Last time I go to this location.
Recently i purchased 3 sets of matresses, when i received them instructions said they needed up to 48hrs to be good after been in a box.. as of today 2 weeks later i completely sink in and have no firmness at all and to top it off they ate not even 12”. I called the store they said they cant do anything about it to call customer service, I called customer service and they have been giving me the run around to send out a technician to look at the mattresses.. The sales person at this location are very nice and professional when it comes to sell but when there is a problem then they give an attitude and cant help you.. very upset with my purchase!!!

I am always happy with my purchase when I come. Satisfaction is something Maricela excels at. They have a wide variety of furniture options for beds, living room sets and some garden sets. Lots of really good options.
Excellent service throughout the multiple hours that we were here picking out all new furniture for a new home. Maricela in particular was an excellent customer service agent and representative for Ashley. We ended up getting excellent prices on a range of bedroom and living room furniture that suits our family in terms of both the adults and the parents in the home. I'm quite happy with the selection and the prices, not to mention the overall decor and ambiance of the store itself.
I walked in the store to “look” and I am now laying in my new bed! Our sales guy Santiago was pleasant and helpful and I will be going back in the future.

When we first bought our home and looked in to buying all our furniture we stopped by Ashleys And luckily Justin wecked us, he helped us find what we were looking for and we walked out more than happy. Even now if we have any problems we feel comfortable enough to reach out and get the help we need. If it wasn’t for Justin’s customer service we probably would’ve gone somewhere else.
They have a very good customer service. There’s a sale associates named Cynthia she has barely joined their team and she was very energetic and had a very optimistic thinking .
I don’t usually write reviews, but this store is horrible. I purchased furniture over 2 years ago along with their warranty. When it can time to use the warranty I had to go through so much plus it was denied. Their furniture does not last. I purchase a bed room set, a living room set, and a kitchen set. I have had problems with everything I have purchased. Never get anything from this store, the product will not last and they warranty is not worth it at all.

When they are selling they go above and beyond. Once the sale is made customer service and delivery service both have different company statement's. The sofa we bought had an indentation from being in the warehouse for so long on its side. They brought another one same thing. It has been a week and still waiting for a sales associate to call me.
I am NEVER the type of person to write bad reviews. If i have a bad experience I just keep it to myself but this time I am truly UPSET. I when into the store Monday to buy a 6 piece dinning table I feel in love with> I paid cash that same day. When I was asked for the delivery I told the lady that I would like to receive it Wednesday. She told me they only had 8am-12pm (hence I work 9am-6pm) I said okay I can ask my Job to let me go in at 12:30 lets do it! I've been up today,Wednesday, since 7am waiting patiently for my dinning table, then I see that the time is 11:45am and no order. When i track my order the order is at stop number 8 when I was stop number 1. I was so upset and disappointing I called the store and they tell me that the truck did not have my order in there, that they will come between 2pm-5pm. Like are you kidding me!! Missed half my day at work for that B.S. SO DISAPPOINTED in that service. Like my job, at least to me is important, I feed myself and my family from that and they want me to wait from 2pm-5pm after they made me wait a morning for nothing. I will NEVER shop here ever again with that service. Overall the worst.

I've been waiting and trying to decide how to review my experience at Ashley in Broadview. Suffice it to say, the experience was not a good one. The initial sales experience was ok, but when it came to the delivery of my purchase, it was problem after painstaking, time-consuming problem. (1) The sectional we purchased was delivered, and during setup, we saw that one piece was damaged. They took it back and said they'd schedule another delivery for the broken piece, but I strongly suggested that they bring the new piece that same day. They did as I requested, and we thought everything was ok. (2) A few days later, we were rearranging the cushions and pillows and found that there was a huge area of the frame that must have been crushed during shipping or in the warehouse (much like the first one). How did this pass quality control? And further, how did the delivery crew not see it? See the pictures. (3) Regardless, I called to get third replacement. Had to wait about a week, but they brought the new piece. I specifically asked for them to perform a quality check before it makes it onto the truck for delivery since this was attempt number 3. This didn't happen, so I asked the delivery crew to inspect it in the truck before bringing it into my new house and dinging more walls. He checked it and came back to my door and told me that it was also damaged. -- All this while we were moving into our new house. I had no time to be spending hours speaking to various individuals at Ashley. -- I called Ashley again and at this point, they did agree to credit back my delivery charge, but honestly, at this point I could care less about the delivery charge. I wanted my new house to be fully furnished. (4) They said they'd deliver another piece, but recommended waiting for the next shipment in case everything in that original shipment was damaged. This meant waiting AN ADDITIONAL MONTH for my other piece. I argued with the store manager that I didn't even want it any longer and that I wanted to return everything and I'd purchase new furniture elsewhere. He said there was no return policy once the original is set up and accepted. Exhausted at this point, I didn't have the energy to argue further. I said if I have to wait, I at least wanted an entire new sectional (not just the broken piece) because I don't feel comfortable with the build quality of the other pieces. Manager also shot this down and said they're not going to replace the entire sectional if only one piece is defective (THREE TIMES ALREADY). FINE. After waiting the month, I called a few days before the scheduled delivery to confirm a delivery window and they didn't have me scheduled. Because it was in stock, they scheduled it for the same day it was going to be delivered anyway, but still unacceptable that if I hadn't called to confirm delivery, it wouldn't have arrived. The fourth piece was seemingly acceptable and not defective (to they eye anyway). I feel cheated. I feel taken advantage of, because they knew I was busy with the new house and dealing with contractors and other projects, and that I had no time to deal with this. I should mention that I didn't purchase the sectional only, I also purchased 2 beds and a dining table and chairs at the same time. Yet, I was still provided with a horrible customer experience.

Our sales rep was helpful and patient. 2 stars just for Anthony.... But anything after the purchase was a pain...I wish the insurance warranty was explained more thoroughly. I guess that's how they get you with an extra $100. Because they make it seem easy to repair or replace any accidental damage to your couch.... BUT MAKING A CLAIM IS NOT EASY.. And I sent in pictures like they asked and never heard back from them. I'm sure this little rip in the arm was due to the delivery and the corner being exposed and dragged on the floor. I tried to dab it with water because there is also discoloration like green paint.
The Ashley team in Broadview is always pleasant to work with. They have a nice selection of furniture and great deals too. The manager Ceaser is a great person to deal with there as well, super friendly and professional man.

Sales associate was great, and friendly. The problems started on delivery. They could not accomodate ANY day in the evening due to my geographic location??? This seems ridiculous to me. My wife and I wasted 4 hours of our day shopping at this store because they could not deliver. Not to mention we will be moving, and be without a mattress due to their lying to us and saying initially that they could accomodate an evening delivery. Very dissappointed, will never go back.
We specifically come back to this location because of Carmen! She knows how to focus on your needs and provides plenty of options to fit your style. Carmen is extremely easy to talk to and you don't feel the salesperson-to-customer dynamic when you're working with her, she really wants you to feel comfortable and excited about the furniture you're buying. Carmen is an asset to this company and I hope they recognize her for her outstanding attributes! :-)
Ashley furnitures has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE to deal with. We bought almost every furniture in our new home from them because we figured it is a bigger company and it’ll be easier to deal with them. Almost all the furnitures came with some kind of problem after they were assembled. We purchased a Brookfield end table and it came damaged when we opened the package, they’re refusing to replace it for us after spending over 15k with this company, they refuse to replace the item that came already damage. I will never purchase anything from them again and will recommend all my family and friends to not use them for future purchases.

Initially I walked in to browse as I was going to close on a home in a few days. Carmen, the sales rep, was great. She helped me pick a living room and dining room set and then postponed the transaction per my request since I was not able to make a big purchase prio to closing. She introduced a bunch of options to move forward with the sale until we agreed on one. Shortly after, I dealt with Janet in the office. Janet was terrific. She went above and beyond to ensure I had my tracking info , ETAs, and was overall satisfied. I called a few times and Janet recognized me right away. I love Ashley Furniture's style. I had been waiting for a long time to shop here because their pieces were so beautiful. A few days before Christmas I walked into the Broadview location and ordered a sectional...I paid cash. Once it was delivered I was disappointed. It didn't fit like expected and the color didn't look the same as in-store...It doesn't look good in my home! So, I called and requested a return or an exchange. The store gave me a flat NO! Even corporate was surprised that they wouldn't work with me...it's less than 2 weeks later. Apparently Ashley Furniture stores and the Ashley Furniture website are two different companies with different store policies. While the website allows returns for up to 30 days the store requires the item be refused immediately and you have to call within 3 days or so. I actually looked online for the return policy the same day I received the item and thought I had time to try to make it work based on the sites information. It's completely outrageous you can use the Ashley website to locate the brick and mortar store but they aren't the same and don't honor the corporate policies. My recommendation to the next consumer is to find the item you want in-store and go online to purchase it online. There's no point in risking it. At least this way you'll have a better insurance policy if something goes wrong. I'm so disappointed.

Initially I was having so much trouble with an online order called 800 number for online customer service and they made my ordering process a hassle. So I called the nearest store which was Broadview IL. The folks there made ordering so easy over the phone. They were wonderful. Should of went to them first. Avoid online shopping go to this store and they will help you out no hassle no problem.

Needed painting ideas for the furniture I purchased at the Ashley outlet store. Justin the salesman, was waiting and greeted us with a great big smile, hello, and Merry Christmas. I told him up front I wasn't looking to buy I had already purchased and he was okay with that. I was lied to by a guy that I would be able to buy a set of dishes out of the showroom.I thought I had found some luck about the loss of another set of dishes to UPS. I went back to get them. He told me you can pick them up off the showroom floor without a box.I told another employee that I was back for the dishes and this is like Publisher's Clearing House! All I have is that other worker heard him lie to me before. I would like to buy things from the other employee at another time.I deserve to window shop in the mall. I died of sleaze. I was thinking of buying a $400.00 dining set. Knew there was someone nice and got trapped to marred furniture after help about this imby. It was a 600$ marred dining set. It is an example on my court case at the Dirksen Federal Court in Chicago Illinois for persecution to assist other governments at a commerce level. My case made the UN. They are drew shrew in the store, found out it was drew shrew and threw the crime out of my home. I am jurisprudence on the drew peterson case. I helped Savio's sister in the courtroom. I am hated for it in the area and that's why Anthony wouldn't return the marred furniture.

I bought a whole bedroom set from this Ashley store two years ago while I was living in Illinois. I now live in New York State, and was trying to have a part shipped to me that was broken on my bed. The warranty company was being difficult and after several weeks told me that I would need to reach out to Ashley furniture to get a replacement part. After explaining my predicament to Janet, she immediately helped me. She was able to get the part I needed shipped and even reached out to let me know the status. It let me know that I was going to be left hanging. I would strongly recommend this store.

Well, I've purchased several items from Ashley Furniture Store and I'm pleased with my purchase, but UNFORTUNATELY...my recent purchase I was DISAPPOINTED...because the person I spoke with about my delivery date was VERY RUDE. And when I received my items I was NOT HAPPY. I ordered a rug and dining room set and the rug didn't lay flat on the floor, and I had to wait two weeks for my order, I felt I should have gotten a discount for my delayed order, I probably will NOT...order anything any time soon, even though I want more furniture. Also, I NEVER...received a call asking about my purchase.
This ASHLEY is one of the best stores with a knowledgeable staff and a friendly store manager.

Disappointed. Came here hoping to find the furniture I was looking for but turns out that 1. No one ever came to assist me. Even when employees saw me looking around for more than 30 mins still no one asked me if I was being helped. 2. From what I saw, there is not a big selection. But again NEVER was helped. Maybe I look too young or maybe they just dont care about selling. Either way, was very disappointed.

Purchase a Tempurpedic bed the sales rep is out of touch, I bought a bed to go with it which I didn't need but the sales rep is only interested in making a sale .bad experience bad experience never again will I shop at this place. First and last time shopping at this place and the manager is out of touch. And I didn't mean to get him any stars.

I really wanted to give them no stars. I've spent over 10,000 at this location I brought a bedroom set a dining room set. Less then a year ago My dining room set started peeling and the fabric was ripping I called, the guy came out said I needed a new set I thought wow already I had this less then a year so no I don't want the same one hopefully they can give me Store credit and I can pick something better because the set shouldn't be ripping and peeling already I called this store and they gave me the run around they wanted me to call the insurance place the insurance place tells me that the store I bought it from was the only one that can give me the store credit called back to speak with the manager her name was Yolanda she had a very nasty attitude and said that they can only do even exchange I will never do business with Ashley Furniture and hopefully you won't either because this company doesn't take care of there customers the way there supposed to.

Still haven't received my furniture. !st they had the wrong area code ...... Did not try to email me..... Then when they delivered it It was the wrong color.... I feel sorry for the delivery men. They don't get paid because of no delivery. I would hope there should be some sort of offset or compensation to offset all my inconveniences.......

We purchased a bed during the recent pre-black Friday sale. The store delivered the wrong bed to our house. When we called to remedy the situation they informed us that there was nothing they could do and demanded more money to send us the bed we had originally purchased. They would never return calls and would tell us that the manager was not in every time we asked to speak to someone. We called the national customer service number but they states all issues have to go through the store. Ultimately we had to threaten to report them to the better business bureau and only then did they allowed us to return the bed. (They were still never were willing to send us the bed we purchased in the first place and had paperwork to prove purchase). I will never purchase an item from Ashley Home Store again.

Our daughter moved to Chicago and her apartment door and the archway door leading into her livingroom was very small. Her couch was too big to fit through the archway. We actually had to get rid of her couch and buy a new one. We went to Ashley Furniture and not only did we find one she like but they were able to deliver it within a few days which was great. When they got it there with a little work they were able to get it into her apartment. She loves it and it looks great in her livingroom. Thanks Ashley.

Adele store manager Latanya receptionist (ashley furniture) Ricardo acceptance now I made 2 payments on my bed room set (not including the delivery fee) I moved in my apartment in 10/30/2016 I wanted scheduled for the 31st, they end up saying they can deliver it today 11/04/2016 (which I took off for on the 31st) ... but I can't receive it today Because "SOME HOW " some one changed the delivery date to 11/13/2016 Without "anyone knowing" so that means I had to agree to take off another day of work 11/05/2016 for me to receive my delivery because delivering it tomorrow would be the only thing they could do ... (like it's my fault) Adele Says they cant give a discounts because Acceptance now does not have authorization over discounts and Ashley furniture does and keep getting the run around. But now Adele (the same man who says he doesn't give discounts before) only says only 50$ discount but I won't receive it tomorrow 11/05/2016 because of having to resign paper work over again .
BUYERS BEWARE!! Save yourself the aggravation. This particular location has incompetent employees, horrible customer service and delivery people that are absolutely terrible. We purchased a bedroom set which was delivered broken 10//9, a second attempt was made a week later- again delivered a restocked broken item, third attempt was worse they delivered queen pieces with full pieces. It's been 3 weeks full of aggravation and rearranging of our already busy schedules. Also pick up is by far the worse, they sent delivery men who were absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional, used profanity refused to take the items from my home because we asked them to wear shoe covers prior to entering our home. We called to complain and get resolution, nothing. No accountability and complete disregard to the issues. Don't buy from this location, go elsewhere for value and service.
The only reason I would consider giving this store 2 stars is because our sales associate TK was excellent. Unfortunately the rest of the store is too incompetent to warrant anything above a one-star rating. First, they called me the day before my first scheduled delivery to give me a 1 - 5 PM delivery window. Luckily, it was left as a voicemail because the delivery guy ended up coming at 9 AM. I was in a different part of Chicago and I wasn't going to be able to make it. I had to call the store to ask them what was going on. The dispatcher thought I was crazy but it wasn't until I spoke to someone else from the store and played the voicemail that they were willing to do anything. They told me that it was possible to deliver it on Monday so I had to take a day off to receive the bed... They brought the wrong bed parts!! So not only did I have to take off work for a bed I didn't receive, they leave the remaining parts uninstalled and left without a bed for the rest of the week.
I purchased furniture 2 years ago from the Broadview store and had some issue's when I received the furniture. I called the store and the problem was addressed immediately. Someone came out to replace the mechanism on the recliner very quickly and everything was great. I was greeted at the door last week when I went back to purchase bedroom furniture and the salesman was Thabiti. He was very upbeat, but not pushy, and he made me feel very comfortable. I already knew what I was buying because I chose it on line before I went in to the showroom. It was a simple and quick process. The furniture arrived within a week and looks great. The quality seems good and the protection plan is well worth the extra cost, especially if you have young kid's or teenager's. The price was reasonable and the set was on sale.

Repeated attempts to contact the manager were unsuccessful after 1 call (after trying to reach him by phone for weeks). I financed a partial part of my furniture there and it was the biggest mistake of my life. They didnt explain how the financing goes very well and now im screwed cause i have to come up with $700 dollars now, which was never the plan. Dont ever do financing with them cause you will get screwed over. They also dont allow you to make extra paymenys whenever you want. They tell you how much and when you can make a payment. If i want to go in there now and just pay it off they wont let you. Stupid system. My blood is boiling.
I order a picture on February 13, 2016 as of today May 2nd, 2016 it was not delivered although I scheduled delivery 4 times! First it was on back-order for a month then it was postponed for another month after I scheduled delivery on Saturday April 22 I received a call asking me to pick it up from the store... I reschedule for next Saturday April 29... Nothing came, and no one called me...

She was absolutely wonderful and I am truly in love with every piece of furniture I purchased. The style is unlike anything else I found at other stores.
purchased a couch, cocktail table and Kitchen Table. Took we well of 4 hours because the rep was new. was supposed to received my delivery 09/11/16 no one showed up or called. When I called I was told that my items were damaged and was promised they would be delivered on Sunday 09/13/15 no show. nest delivery was made but my items were damaged, called driver back from the number they called me on and no answer. Called the store was told they will have someone call me to come out and repair,never happened. called back three weeks later and was told they forgot to schedule someone. Two weeks later no one showed up. filed BBB complaint they called promised 250 in gift cards and a new sofa. scheduled 3 times first time damaged sofa when taken off truck. second time they tried to deliver in the dark when I specifically asked for a daytime delivery due to the couch having to be brought through the back so they won't rip another one., last time damaged again. called store explained I want a refund was told in December will have by Feb No credit and credit company doesn't show pending credit either. called the store and of course manager Elonda is unavailable. I have been trying to get this resolved since September And to top it off I only got 200.00 in gift cards. KEEP YOUR MONEY NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.
Absolutely the worst furniture store I have ever dealt with in my entire life! The sales people stalk you around the store because they obviously work on commission. Although they are pleasant and will negotiate on price. Their delivery service however is the worst ever!! They told us that our stuff would be here in the early afternoon then they told us it would be coming in the evening and then they told us that it would be delivered tomorrow!! I spent all day waiting at home for it, and then I had to spend another whole day waiting for it, and when the drivers finally showed up they were creepy. (I told the guy I was so excited to have my new bed and he turned around and hugged me in my bedroom.) They gave me a few gift cards to make up for the missed day of work. I went back last week to use the gift cards and now they are telling me that the things I ordered need to be picked up from the store and not delivered as I was previously told. Did I mention that they also can't find all the items that I paid for already? This will be the absolute last time I deal with this horrible company! The people on their customer care line are rude and uninformed. After being on hold forever I was told to call the store, who still hasn't called me back to tell me where my items are.... did I mention that the furniture is cheaply made? The pillows don't even have a line or they are just stuffed with loose stuffing so they almost instantly started to lose shape. Things that look like wood or leather are all imitation plastic. Go elsewhere if you want quality!!!

What an ordeal! I paid for a sofa sleeper and matching recliner on Sep 17. My delivery was scheduled for Sep 23. The truck arrived 1 1/2 hours after the allotted window and when they unloaded the sofa, it was damaged. The driver was very nice and and took the sofa back. I spoke to a customer service rep and was told I would be put on high-priority for a new one. My new delivery was set for Sep 30. No one showed up during the time frame I was given. When I called the store, no one answered. I timed it and the phone rang for a solid 2 1/2 minutes before someone answered. I was told that the truck was re-routed and would not be delivering at all. I do not understand why I did not at least get a phone call to let me know. I had to take a half-day off work to be there. I was refunded my delivery charge and offered $200 in gift cards. My delivery was again rescheduled for Oct 3. The truck arrived on time, and the sofa was once again damaged. There was a large tear on the inside of the armrest, under the cushions. The sofa was once again taken away, and again I spoke to a Service Rep and was told there were 2 more in the warehouse and they would see about arranging to get me one. When I spoke to the store manager later, I was told there were no sofas left in stock and would not be until Oct 19. It turns out the 2 that were listed on the inventory were the 2 damaged ones they had tried to give me already. I received the gift cards in the mail today, and find out that I can only use them with a minimum purchase of $499! This is absolutely ridiculous, and I would never recommend anyone to shop at Ashley Furniture. I will be forced to because of these gift cards, but after that I will not shop there again.
I don't know what is wrong with them, but this is the worst service I ever met. When everything was paid (it took maybe 40 minutes for 3 things) they told me that there are no man to help ME to load the stuff into my truck (that was a middle sized TV table and some accessories), so I have to come back in two days. When I asked the sales assistance why didn't he tell me that before I payed for that, he answered I don't know - that's NOT OK. Choose another location if don't want to be disappointed.
I would put no stars if possible. Sonia was the acting manager when I came in, our associate needed help, Sonia never came back. I went to change my order, decided to buy my mattresses elsewhere, so I went in to the store. Sonia assisted me then too, said she would take care of it, would need the store manager to override. I asked Sonia for a receipt or confirmation, she said that I would have my confirmation when the delivery truck showed up without the mattresses. A week later, my delivery showed up...with the mattresses. I have placed 2 calls to the store manager, no one calls me back, all I want is to get my credit back for the mattresses. So disappointing and frustrating

PRO: My fiancee bought a wonderful bed with an adjustable base and mattress from the Broad View Village Square Ashley Furniture Store. The sales rep was helpful--She greeted us at the door with a smile, very eager to make a sale...not thirsty, but eager. And the Manager was even more helpful... Diane knew how to haggle & make a deal. She also knew her way around a mattress. We laid on several mattress until we found the right one. We enjoy the bed so much! CON: It took nearly a month for my Tempurpedic pillows to arrive :-( CON and PRO: I went into the store 3weeks after purchase because someone called from Ashley asking us to pick up the pillows, but when we arrived, no pillows. I asked to speak to the manager and I was greeted by a new manager, because the previous manager was promoted. The new sales manager was professional and patient with my agitation/disappointment. She offered a store credit for the inconvenience, so I redirected myself and purchased temporary pillows until our other pillows arrived. ...a month later. Pro: Ladies and gentlemen the pillows were well worth the wait
I purchased a couch from this store that looked very gray in the store and in pictures. I talked to the sales man over and over again about a gray couch. He told me that it only came in gray, that was the only color. When they delivered the couch, I didn't think to check the color since it only came in one. The couch, in my house, is not gray but brown and I hate it. I asked the store to get the couch and give me store credit, minus delivery so that I could purchase another couch, one that was actually gray from the store, and they refused. I am not asking for a refund, just store credit where I will end up spending more money then I originally spent, Moe was horrible to speak with and instead of trying to help he told me my color perception was off and I should buy some lamps. Can you believe that!!!!!! I was also never told that you could take a pillow home to see the difference in color which is apparently a thing. I talked with the sales man sooooooo long about a gray couch and still he never mentioned anything about the differences or that I could take a pillow home. He also was on his cell phone while dealing with me so maybe he wasn't listening 100%
Walked around the store for fifteen minutes with no offers of help from any associates. No one spoke to me until I was headed for the door. Also, current prices were not marked on furniture which made it impossible to shop without the help of a sales associates. They lost my business when I had planned to buy an entire living room set!
They are not well organized. They messed up our order three times and try to give us a broken desk twice. My husband had to go in and demand to speak with a manager or someone in charge to get a replacement. The only helpful person at that store was our sales rep. Will not buy again at Ashley's furniture and will not recommend it to anyone. We spent a lot of money for a lot of headaches and poor experience.
Worst experience with this location. Spent $5000 on a new living room set and dining room set. From the moment the furniture was delivered there has been nothing but problems. Hector is indeed a piece of crap. He told me I would receive a $300 gift card for my temperpedic mattress purchase. Never received it. Lucky for me I ran into the regional manager when I went to the store to complain because my bed frame was missing parts. Now my couch frame cracked. Cheap cheap workmanship. Save your money!

My husband and I are incredibly disappointed with our experience at Ashley Furniture. We ordered a gray sectional and a 7 piece kitchen table set for our new house. We were told our order would be delivered no later than 2:30PM on December 30th. Around 12:30 that day, my husband received a call that our delivery would be delayed an hour. At 4:30, my husband called them to get an update on delivery and was told that the delivery truck driver would call him with an update. That call never came. He called them again 2 hours later and was told this time that it would be another hour. The sectional did not get delivered until after 7PM where my husband had taken off work to be home for the delivery. Upon arrival, we found out a piece of our sectional was missing and they had no hardware to set up the table. Here we are a few hours from our New Years eve party and we have no kitchen table and an uncomplete sectional. We have been on the phone all day attempting to find our missing pieces and even pick them up ourselves.
now a day everything is all about service!!!!! and I feel very special what a big company like Ashley Furniture have a worst service I ever see!!!!! I order one set of office desk and chair on11/6/2014 it worth 1000+ when I check out the sales person told me the only can ship me the desk first because the chair is so popular the will sent to us before!!! 11.26. 2014. and if there any update we will let you know. First we were thinking why take 20 days to mail a chair? but anyways since is on set we like it then we pay and the sales person very nice told us will no longer mail out on 11/26/ cause u guys order before thanksgiving!!! we said ok too because we going to have vacation on thanksgiving we wont be on town if they sent to on after 11/26. But as today!!! 11/26!!! no one call us!!!! I call in two times in the morning they told me there no my order!!!!!! after have 10mins conversation they found out the chair still not coming yet!!!!!! and maybe will get it on 12/4????? what a service??????? why wait to the client to call????? the company should let the client know what's happen to their order. one more thing you hold the chair not sent out but u charge the money right away???? the reason I leave a common just want to let other customs pay attention when u go to Ashley next time!!!!!!!

I have been to this Ashley store three times before I finally picked all the furniture pieces. Two people were assisting me Francisco and Hector with the purchase and selection. After spending over $6,000 for the furniture I wanted to return one loveseat and informed the store the very next day it was delivered. I was connected to one of the sales representative Francisco who was “assisting” me with the purchase. He quickly explained that there is no return policy. Not once he or his partner Hector have previously mentioned that there is no return policy at the time I was making the purchase. He would give me at least ten arguments why there is no return policy and why they WOULD NOT TELL in advance.. For example he would tell that if you bought a car you don't expect you can return it the next day. Only it was not a car we were talking about and the dealer makes you sign the paper that there is no return policy. I had to talk to the manager after conversation with which it was obvious in this store it is a specific policy not to tell that there is no returns. Few days later I was informed that if I called and request a return within 3 days of the delivery, they could accept the return. In fact, I called the very next day after delivery and they did not accept the return. The store, the staff, the manager are a mess! Another absolutely repulsive detail that mangers need to handle is that both Hector and Francisco have extra extra long nails on their pinky. My friend who is a police officer told me that extra long pinky nails usually means that the person is a cocaine user. Repulsive! I would never consider going to Ashley furniture again.

Called to check the price on a couch I saw online and Hector refused to tell me what the cost was "per policy" I live over an hour away and I have to drive to the store for a price? No thanks I'll take my business where there are no games!
We've made two separate purchases at this store within about 6 months. Both have not been very pleasant. and it all comes down to the delivery. First time we purchased a living room set. When the first group of 3 men came to my home they "couldn't fit the sofa because it was too long" from when they arrived to when they left, no more than 5 minutes passed by. The second time they sent a different pair of delivery guys. They're excuse "if the other guys didn't fit them we cant fit them either" and they left. Which by the way were very rude and smelled like alcohol. The 3rd time the guys fitted the sofas with no problem! Hmm what does that tell you? Ashley you have some very lazy delivery guys. The second purchase was made by my mother as a gift to me. She bought a bedroom set. One again everything was great up until the delivery. This time they started to unload and then they told me that the foot-board was going to be two days late so they couldn't set up. Actually this just happened today. So now I'm stuck with a room full of parts and nowhere to sleep. The main guy looked annoyed lazy and like he was in a hurry to sit back down in the truck. ASHLEY YOU NEED TO TRAIN YOUR DELIVERY GUYS TO BE POLITE AND TO DO THEIR JOB THE RIGHT WAY! I cant believe we've been through 4 groups of delivery guys and only one has done their job the right way. Waiting on the 5th...lets see what they come up with. Oh and your front desk is very rude at times too. I feel bad for the crew that works the floors they deserve 5 starts. But thanks to your front desk and delivery service I will only give out 1 because I have to.
