I bought a sectional and the sales person put my order in wrong, the factory mislabeled a piece and it was delivered completely wrong. The store then took several days to address the problem despite me calling immediately and repeatedly, I was then a given incorrect delivery time and I still don’t have what I paid for. Every single person I have talked to has somehow gotten part of this wrong and it is staggering.

Dairien was awesome. He listened to my needs and went, what I thought, was an extra mile ro insure I found exactly what I wanted. Thanks, Daimien!

Went in to look for some furniture, i was greeted but was looking around, i found something i was interested and the owner had to help me because she couldn’t find anyone else to do it. She was lovely and very kind but very embarrassing to her staff because they made her look a fool when she was entrusting her team. sales person was friendly but very pushy it made us uncomfortable

Zipper broke underneath cushions. My wife didn't like over all workmanship and wanted to return. Agreed with 15 percent restocking fee and refund was promised. However, it took 4 days. However salesperson was nice and stayed with the issue. I would go back for him!

Absolutely excellent service! I went into Ashley after receiving credit through the Ashley website because I wanted to see the Stupendous collection in person. I’ve been dreaming of owning the Stupendous Oversized Chaise after seeing it on social media. Diarian helped us, and he was kind and patient and answered all of our questions. They had a “bean bag” over by the collection that matched perfectly with the set and was so soft and comfy, and me and the kiddos fell in love with it too. Apparently it isn’t offered online and is limited edition. We decided to get the chaise and the bean bag, but it turned out the credit we applied for was only able to be used online. I was sure we weren’t going to be able to get it. But Diarian and the team were able to transfer my credit to in-store credit and help me complete my purchase! We walked out that day with the cozy bean bag and are waiting for delivery of the chaise. Can’t wait!

Craig was first in line to help me. He helped with all the questions Ive had and still do. He goes above and beyond his job for sure and is super easy to talk to(compared to employees that stalk you around the store while you look and shop) One of the nicest gentlemen ive met in my 20+ yrs of retail. He needs a raise and an office with a window view. Hes professional , studious, and kind. He knows his products and isnt afraid to say he doesnt know an answer to a question, as he looks it up with the customer.

I usually get turned off by going into a place and someone constantly pressures you that makes me not want to come back. My husband and I love shopping at Ashley Furniture. They have the best prices in town for the quality! On our last visit we had the privilege of working with Diarien. He was great. Really unsatisfied with the customer service with this place. My girlfriend is a lot nicer than I, so unfortunately I have to get on here and leave this review. She bought a couch from here the beginning of June 2024. Spent thousands of dollars on this couch. Everything was good until the delivery and install of the couch. This couch was a 6 individual piece sectional. None of which was put together right. Most of it wasn't even locked together. If it was, it would only be one of the 2 pins locked in. One of the pieces controls two of the recliners, none of the wiring was right, and that you just have to clip in to the right wiring harnesses. When she called to let them know this, the only reply she got was the guys they sent out to do it were new. No offer to come fix it and make it right, which means I have had to be the one to fix everything. Hence, why I'm leaving this review. I recommend not spending money with this place. I know I will never give them a penny of mine, and if my girlfriend ever does again, I'm going to have her head examined.

The young man Justin was so friendly and helpful. When my daughter and I walked in there was two young men standing to the right of me that were talking and never came towards me to ask if I wanted anything. Justin came from the other side of the store saw my daughter and I and immediately asked could he help us find anything. He sold me a living room couch and chairs. I paid cash. Waited 3.5 weeks for furniture that they said would be delivered May 23rd. Then called to get an estimate of time of delivery tomorrow, since I hadn't heard from them since I bought the furniture, just to get told they couldn't deliver it until June 6th because that's the day my sales person put on my order... We specifically agreed on May 23rd multiple times because I told him I had guests coming May 24th. Not sure where the miscommunication happened but will definitely not be buying from here again.

We were only shopping for an ottoman. Ashley is having their spring clearance sale. We ended up buying a 5 piece sectional with ottoman. We've never bought from Ashley before but the sofa seems well made and durable. Dylan and Trevin were great to work with! Good experience.

I did not intend to buy anything while I was there. I was more window shopping than anything. But my sales person Craig did an amazing job making the deal work how I needed, so I couldn't say no! So I bought a couch o.0 8/10 would recommend. 2 points lost because I was almost 10 minutes in the store with no one reaching out or acknowledging I was there. Not a terribly big deal, but would've been nice.

We had not done business with Ashley before. Shopping for a mattress is not the easiest. Patting, sitting, even lying down says " is this the one?" Craig was patient and well informed to answer our questions and respond to our wishes. He respected our budget. Yes, we shopped around but came back to Ashley. Ashley is a great place to have a relaxing, no pressure experience.

Was greated promptly as we entered, explained to Sean what we were looking for in a new couch, needless to say we bought a couch and a new bed. 4/12/24 Update, mixup on delivery and items ordered. Wrong parts of couch ordered and delivered. What was delivered was not even an entire sectional couch. I removed my old couch from the room to rearrange clean etc. so now thats blocking up my garage and I have no couch in the room. Looks like old couch is going back in, but of course I already threw away parts for it. So I have an extra King size bed and box spring in my room as well. Delivery men refused to remove old items, which I understand they had other new items on the truck to deliver. Delivery ticket was not filled out correctly by saleman, we were told we would be the last Delivery so that they would remove old items, we were the first. Will update as the process goes.

update! Horrible product, poor product assembly team. I received a bed (frame only) paid extra for coverage and assembly. The bed arrived and was assembled without connecting bolt for the headboard and side rail. I reported the issue and it's been he'll ever since! I could go on and on! Make sure you really like the furniture you are interested in and take your time to look through and see your options read through the warranty if you aren’t happy they have you take the furniture back to them yourself which is difficult and even though they cover by saying warranty covers for it not at all times it can be denied and if you realize the furniture you chose isn’t good quality they won’t do anything to satisfy the customer you are stuck so think through your options

My husband and I have now furnished two entire homes with Ashley Furniture from the Champaign store. We recently went in again to purchase furniture for our living room. It is a decent size, and we currently have a huge sectional, that we bought years ago and have added onto a few times to make it fit our current living room. It has seen lots of wear and tear, and it was time for something new. I already knew what model I was leaning towards because it was literally the only option to be able to make it large enough, or configure seperate pieces to fit our home. We were greeted by Sean who was very friendly and helpful. He was quick to answer any questions we had, but also allowed us time to check out other furniture on our own, as well as making a couple of recommendations for us to try out. Once we decided for sure to go with the one I had configured online originally, Sean got all of the pieces set for delivery to our home, double checked it was all correct and how we wanted it, and we should have our new furniture in 4-6 weeks! :)

The difference between the Champaign and Bloomington store is night and day. Trevin at the Champaign store was easy to work with, efficient and very kind.

Working with Craig to select our bed, sofa and desk was easy and professional. There was no pressure to upsell and Craig was patient with us every step of the process.

Was hoping to find something before Christmas, and what we liked was “in stock”. Which was great, but apparently “in stock” means in stock in a warehouse, in Bloomington. And they only deliver once every other week. So just plan on having to order and waiting for your “in stock” purchases.

My husband and I needed to buy a sofa. As soon as we entered the Ashley Store, an employee greeted us, asked us what we wanted, told us what areas to check out for sofas in the store, and handed us a sales flyer. The Ashley Store carries the largest selection of sofas of any furniture store we visited in the area. The staff let us freely take our time to wander through the displays trying out dozens of sofas. We needed a sofa that met several criteria. We found three great choices that checked all of the boxes. Sean offered to give us quotes on the three sofas. Sean also went over how the optional protection plan works. We ordered the sofa. The price beat three other stores, plus the sofa fit what we wanted exactly, no compromises. The sofa arrived in one week. We picked it up ourselves at the scheduled appointment. Loading went smoothly with an employee there to help. The sofa arrived very well packed--plastic bag, protective foam, full cardboard surround, then super heavy duty plastic sealed over everything. The sofa looks great and sits everyone comfortably. I highly recommend the Ashley Store and Sean for a completely hassle free, no high pressure sales tactics, furniture buying experience. I placed an order online to Ashley Home Furniture Store for a dining room table set, and was charged a $340 delivery and tax fee to my checking account. This is for a furniture order that they (Ashley Furniture Store) says does not exist!!! I now have to wait 7 to 10 business days in the hope that it'll fall off my account , not posting to my checking account. Worst online order experience EVER!!!

Everything was wonderful coming to this store. There was a great selection of furniture across various styles that really allowed us plenty of options to consider. All of the employees there were incredibly nice and helpful. Our design consultant Craig, was in particular a joy to work with. He gave me and my wife plenty of time and space to look at stuff while also always being available if we had any questions, and made the closing process very easy. Wouldn't carry my dresser upstairs literally paid like 800 dollars for them to deliver it, carry it in an set it up he told me they couldn't do it an left it at the bottom of the stairs. So me an my wife had to carry our furniture up by ourselves after we paid them to do it... 2 guys who deliver furniture for a living couldn't do it but me an my wife were able to in about 10 mins they just didn't want to mess with it. Wasn't a good start.

Purchased a memory foam mattress for my daughter. Service was fine. Not much selling involved. Daughter laid on a few mattresses and picked one. Whole price chess took less than 10 minutes. They did have the mattress in stock. So, that was a plus. Overall, quick and easy.

Jesse Miller sold my mother the mattress of her dreams! He seemed like a very genuine and honest person, and not a wheeler and dealer, or someone who is just trying to get the most money out of you. He seemed to genuinely care that my mother got the mattress that she wanted and needed.

We worked with Tyler who showed us all kinds of reclining couches to choose from. The last one we tried was perfect! Electronic reclining couches with heated chairs and massages built in. We fell in love with them. Tyler is a great listener and communicator.

Ordered furniture in store at the end of January, on the website both items show in stock. The salesman said it will be about 4 weeks. That's fine I get it takes time. By week 6 no call or anything. I called and they couldn't find the order. They called me back saying they found it and it came off like the order was forgotten somehow. Weird phone exchange then they say it will be three or more weeks. Fast forward to last days of March and I get one item the other item was broke in the driveway. They grabbed the item in the worst way and broke it. Now they are saying they want to repair it. I didn't pay for a repaired item I paid for a new item. I don't deserve to have what they broke repaired and have to wait weeks on top of that. How can it take this long and the job done so poorly. I will never give another dollar to Ashley or the subsidiaries that they sell to. Furniture row on the other hand I've dealt with same with slumberland both way better choices.

Waited 3 weeks for delivery (which was fine) and the drivers broke my door wreath and pushed it out of the way and ripped my couch. They said they would take the couch back for repairs and someone would contact me in about 30 min. It has been over a week and the only communication for this has been me reaching out to store where they can't really tell me anything. For as much as I paid for delivery I would expect someone to at least be calling me with a time frame. Im almost to the point I want to return and shop elsewhere . I just got notified my payment is due by the ashley credit card and I don't even have it or know when I will! Update: it has now been a full month since original deliver date and I've gone through a holiday and two birthdays with folding chairs. Have not been reached out to ONE time with an ETA or anything. The entire sales team at Ashley home store in Champaign exceeded my expectations. Initially, I worked with two salesmen named, Nathan and Trevin, and they were super knowledgeable about the Tempur-pedic I was interested in buying. I ended up buying a Tempur-pedic Breeze because they were the most knowledgeable salesmen in Champaign. I also worked with a salesman named Tyler to pick out a couch and recliner. Walked in to look at furniture, there were two salespeople sitting on a couch with earbuds in playing on their phones. Another salesperson I am pretty sure was sleeping on a couch in the back side of the store with his drink on the floor who stood up after a moment while I looked in that area then woke up, stood up, and walked away. The whole 30 minutes I was in the store I was ignored. I would not return as they made it clear they did not want customers.

I bought 2 leather reclining sofas and love them both. One of them had issues with the leather seats when it arrived, but customer service made it right. Installation of replacement covers didn’t meet my approval, so they exchanged the sofa for a new one.

Our sales person, Craig, was a great listener, and he was quite patient in answering our myriad of questions. Equally important, he showed us respect. Not once did he seem frustrated or eager to get on to the next customer. What an absolutely terrible process, terrible store. We went in at the middle of June and bought roughly $10,000 worth of furniture, 2 bedroom sets, a living room set and numerous paintings and small decorations. We clearly stated at the time of sale that our furniture was not needed until end of summer/beginning of fall as our house was being remodeled, we were told no problem, delivery could be adjusted for whenever. We paid, set up delivery and left. Fast Forward to August when we're tentatively supposed to receive our furniture and we call the store to let them know we aren't done remodeling and need delivery middle to end of September. Suddenly it's a problem, the store states the delivery is set and the furniture needs removed from the warehouse. We are told we'll be assessed fees and we tell the store we'll go ahead and accommodate and have it delivered and placed in our garage but we aren'table to view the furniture until we unwrap it. Furniture arrives all wrapped in plastic and we store it for 3 more weeks until we can move it in. When we get it moved in and unwrapped we immediately notice scuffs/scratches as well as staples missing off the back of one of the couches in addition to that side being wobbly/loose. I immediately notify the store who states there's no warranty as it was a floor model. I clarify that this was not damage incurred at the time of sale, this is damage incurred during the storage/transport/delivery as it was under the wrapped plastic. We are told that we have to pay for the damage to be repaired. You can inagine what I replied. And I'LL NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY AGAIN. I have to say Nathan was incredibly helpful in selecting the right sectional in literally 20 minutes. I’m a very busy guy and with his help finding the perfect piece while sharing with me that Ashley Furniture had there annual sale of the year coming up in another day, he made me a customer for life. Believe me, if you hadn’t shopped Ashley in some time you’ll be surprised by there selection, quality, and prices. Oh, if you happen to be going to the Champaign store, ask for Nathan, he’s the best!

While I am completely understanding of supply chain issues, the time we have waited for our furniture is ridiculous. We ordered a new dining set as well as a King size bedroom set and mattress on January 30th, 2022. We were told 3-5 months before we should expect our furniture, they took our 10k that day though! It has now been 7 months and we do not have our furniture. We have not received any updates unless we call and ask and half of the time no one answers, we leave a message, and no one returns our call. They are not apologetic about the delay. Only giving 2 stars because the salesman we worked with during our purchase was extremely helpful and great to work with.

I purchased a leather reclining couch. After waiting 3 months for delivery it was finally here. I rounded up 2 people to pick it up as I cannot afford your delivery fee. I rearraged my furniture and the two guys went to pick it up. It was crushed in shipping. They wanted to repair it. Noooooo, it's new I want another one. 2 weeks later I get a call it's in only now I only have one person to pick it up. What a disaster. Never again. You could at least offer to deliver it for free it was your error and my inconvenience. I will never shop here again. Champaign IL. Addendum: I would think you would want happy customers. "Anything else you can do" ? Per your store these items are not even inspected when they come in. Offer something for the inconvenience !!maybe.

Today at Ashley Furniture I was greeted with the utmost professionalism and respect by Mr. Nathan Baker. He helped me furnish my entire living room based on my particular color scheme and preferred layout. His knowledge and experience in his field of expertise is second to none. We are very unsatisfied! We recently purchased a living room set. The loveseat and coach both have major issues. Couch the recliners do not kick out when lever is released. The loveseat has a big gap on one side verse the other. Contacted sales person all he can do is have warranty paper sent to me luckily we got the warranty because if we hadn’t it would cost us because we picked it up instead of paying for delivery. We have bought a bed from here and a living room set in the last 6 weeks and planned to buy more but it won’t be here now.

I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION. We've shopped at Ashley for years and have never had a bad experience until this one. We don't typically write bad reviews but this experience has been one of the worst of my life and it would be wrong to not warn others. The associate ordered the wrong furniture and when it was delivered and we discovered it was incorrect, the store refused to process a full refund despite the issue being their fault. We then canceled the rest of our order while on the phone with them. However, 2 weeks later they called us saying the rest of the order was in. When we explained we had already canceled it, they informed us that they could cancel it NOW but they would have to assess a $300 fee because it wasn't canceled earlier. However, we did cancel it earlier and they had not processed that appropriately. They refused to be accommodating or help despite their errors. So now, we are out a lot of money with no furniture because they made multiple mistakes on this order and refused to even attempt to find a reasonable resolution. If you value honest, transparent, ethical, and high-quality shopping experiences, I would NEVER recommend shopping at this location.

After 3 months waiting for a leather couch we were told it was in. Re-arranged the living room,made arrangements for help to pick it up because God forbid they offer free delivery. Went to pick it up today and it was crushed in shipping. WTH, these things are not checked when they come in? They want to repair it...NO..give me a new one or a refund. I thought this was a reputable store. Apparently not. STAY AWAY.

We have been through the ringer with Ashley Furniture in Champaign the past two months. We were moving and wanted a new dining table and sleeper sofa. We looked online and most everything stated a long wait for delivery, so we found something we liked that said delivery by mid to late May. That was perfect, so we went into the store to see it. The salesperson told us that the website was accurate for delivery estimates and we would get our items at that time. We waited for that time and no communication, no furniture. We have continued to call and ask about delivery times, and each time we call the projected date gets pushed back another two weeks. It is now almost July and we still have no furniture. Our projected delivery date is now almost mid-July. We called to attempt to cancel the order after finding the exact same table and a comparable sofa at a local store that sells Ashley brand furniture in stock! We are now being told there is a 30% restocking fee (even though nothing is in stock). The staff never gets back to us when we call and everyone "higher up" is always busy. We have now been told that this store does not answer to corporate and it's store policy to not give the owner's name. So basically there is no one to hold this store and it's employees accountable or work with anyone. So be warned that once you give them your money, you're not getting it back for any reason, and you may not get your furniture either.

Tyler was amazing. Honest, not pushy, no one follows you around hounding you at this store. They let you look around for as long as you want and no pressure to buy. Took us three times before we bought anything. We have now bought a bed and 3 pcs living room set. We will for-sure be back. Prices and sales are amazing!!! Thank you Tyler and Ashley Furniture!!!

I am extremely disappointed with their service. They send me the wrong item and are charging me to exchange it. Also, they damage the side of my wall while delivering the items and they are not recognizing anything. I don't recommend this store. Very poor customer service.

Bought some leather recliners last year (2021) and one of the recliners developed cracks in the leather. I was told they wouldn't do anything about it because they told me that this was normal wear and tear. I only had the furniture for 7 months. So don't buy anything leather at Ashley Furniture because it will only last for 6 months. Go to Big Lots for quality furniture.

Nate Baker took me by the hand and showed me every single sectional and pointed out all the features of each one. I never felt rushed or bothersome to him. He has patience of Job. He even dealt with my wife who is difficult to please and he made her smile and happy. We walked out with exactly what we wanted and needed.

Too expensive for cheap made furniture

I used to buy furniture from them, until first after buying mattresses, bedroom furniture, among other things, they refused to be help when they experienced delivery issues. The furniture was delayed by over a month and the lady at the front desk (Bethany) was consistently rude if we asked for any updates. Also, I purchased my living room furniture with them, and I insured it with them. I was indicated that after 5 years, if I didn’t use the insurance I would get 500 back, to learn today that that money had an expiration date, that they never told me about nor was written in the insurance information they provided. They just dismissed the insurance and we’re not able to even provide some sort of store credit. There are other furniture stores in town with great costumer service and honest personnel. Just keep that in mind when considering buying furniture at Ashley.

Bought a couch. They couldn't get it in the door (didn't actually try). Tried to get a refund. Ashley has a terrible policy for stealing a large percentage of your money. I had just relocated and was desperate for furniture. Yes, it's in the "contract" that there are fees, but then you don't have a chance or opportunity to red-line their customer-unfriendly contract. Truly, if there is another furniture store in the area, try them. Also, slow delivery for something supposedly in stock. 2 stars only because the manager agreed to steal less than originally planned because his "guys" didn't even bother to try to bring the couch in. Still didn't get all my money back, though. Ashley should only be a last resort. Buyer beware.

I ordered a coffee table six months ago and was told it would arrive within two to three months. Now they're estimating another two months before it gets here, but the delivery estimate has already been pushed back twice. If I was told it would be an eight month wait, I would have gone somewhere else.

Every time we go shopping for furniture we always find ourselves back here. The quality of the furniture is better and last. We still have furniture from 8-10 years ago and still isnt broken or faded. Will be back soon for our remodel.

Great customer service. We bought furniture from there in March and needed assistance with warranty. I received help from our sales person and he followed through with connecting us to the manager and warranty service provider.

I had a really positive experience! Nathan was super helpful and patient. I was able to get pretty much everything I needed within 2 weeks. There was a good variety of styles to choose from and we were able to find things that were affordable. Would recommend!

UPDATE: The date got pushed back AGAIN to November 5th (ordered in May) which is another month after pushing it back the second time. We still have not received the check even though they said they printed it on August 13th. If you're thinking about buying furniture from here...DON'T, unless you want it half of a year later (if not longer)!!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. They are QUICK to take your money but do not really care to give you your product. I will say I had great customer service when picking out our couch but I'm sure it's just so they could make a sale. I have called weekly to get an update on the delivery of the rest of our sectional and they keep pushing it back. They state that they recently just went through a conversion and that's why it is taking so long but I bought this months in advance before their conversion. They keep giving me the run around about why my delivery date keeps getting pushed back. The store does not answer their phone so then it gets transferred to customer service elsewhere and when asked to speak to the Lubbock location they make you call again and the process starts all over. Then when I actually got ahold of the Lubbock location then put me on hold for 40 minutes so I tried calling with a different number and they answered. They said they were gonna give us a partial refund for the inconvenience but that was a month ago and we still have not received the check. Please save your time and money and do not shop here. VERY VERY FRUSTRATED!!!

Worked with Nick. He was great. He did not constantly ask us if we were OK. He let us walk around look at stuff, but when we needed to ask a question, he wasn't hard to find.

I ordered this couch months ago and there was no communication as to when the delivery date would be. Months passed and I had been trying to call to talk to them about an expected delivery date. THIS STORE DOES NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES. I tried for two weeks(after waiting months for an update) before anyone ever answered. The couch finally shows up and most of the back cushions are missing. The delivery men were fabulous, but as soon as I called the store they of course weren’t answering. When I finally did get ahold of someone, she tried to blame the delivery men and then told me that they are busy and she didn’t really have time to deal with my issue and that someone would call me back within the hour. I never heard anything so hours later I called back and the same person told me I need to chill out and they’ll get back to me. It’s been over 24 hours and I’ve heard nothing and I’ve been trying to call the store all day and no one answered ALL DAY. I paid an extra $200 for delivery and I am so unhappy with the way this purchase went. I will never ever buy from this place again, and if you’re considering getting anything here save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

I ordered something and been 5 months in still haven’t Received my stuff and I called they said it’s not their problem and can do nothing for me but they were quick to take my money still waiting worts place to get thing never getting thing from here ever again will take my money somewhere else and I get bc of COVID they take longer but it’s been 5 month and I got thing form other places and already received it

We purchased a dining table and chairs in July 2020. We had also purchased a 4 yr protection plan. It was delivered about a month later. When the delivery people had arrived they asked if we wanted them to put table legs on. Of course we replied. They had it together within 10 minutes. About 7 months later we noticed that 2 of the legs had started cracking from the installation of over tightening the legs. We called and sent pictures and emails to the furniture care protection services. They responded back with their denial of our protection claim and told us that the reason is that the cracking isn't covered by our plan. Please do not purchase this plan from them. We will never refer or step into an Ashley Furniture store ever again. 😒

I wish I could give them no star or a negative point. The worst place to buy furniture and the worst costumer service. We ordered a sofa table and a cocktail table in Feb 2021 in Champaign, IL location. Due to the pandemic it took three months to receive the items, which is understandable. But the cocktail table was damaged. So we request a replacement. After several calls and follow up they scheduled a delivery for today 06/29/21. Guess what; they brought us a wrong item!!! I called Ashley service department and the store in Champaign. The service department didn't have any idea what was happened. The sale person in store said it is not their responsibility to follow up/reorder about the damaged items and she will TRY to talk with costumer service and call me back in few days (hopefully it wouldn't be few months!!). We are really frustrated and disappointed from Ashley. Never ever again will get furniture from Ashley.

Didn't have the couch I wanted. It took 4 months to get the couch we wanted in stock.

If I could give a negative 5 I would. Ashley customer service is non-existent. Once your order is placed don't expect to get your furniture for months. Then don't expect the first three estimated delivery dates to be correct. Once you get a delivery date it's another 3 attempts to get the right delivery time.

Nice selection, Great prices. Standard wait for delivery of furniture is 3 months. That's all furniture stores right now.

I'm furious. Bought our furniture over THREE months ago! They told us it would be in mid-late March. We knew things were backed up, so figured they'd be on the end of that. Then they told us a couple weeks later early April. It is the end of April, it came in over two weeks ago, and they were supposed to deliver it today. Their ONE TRUCK broke down, and rather than rent one themselves to get the furniture delivered, I'm waiting until "at least Monday"... the first week of May. Their only option was that I could pay to rent a truck and pick it up myself. Nice try, Ashley. It's no wonder no one is ever at your store; your CS follow-through is awful! Nothing but excuses. Now to move all our old furniture back to where it was until we actually get the stuff in. I'm furious!

Only order from here if you don't need your furniture for months, and enjoy being give lip service by "customer service" agents who literally don't give a rip. Still waiting for our bed and couch for our new house, more than THREE MONTHS later, a month and a half after we were told we'd get it. It's actually sitting in a warehouse an hour from my home, they have, apparently ONE TRUCK to get it here, which has now broken down...and they're offering nothing to make it right. Garbage. Will be telling friends not to shop here.

I went to order a bedroom set on November 7th was told it wouldnt be in till February and it is now April and still no bedroom! I called for an update and now i was told “by the end of April” but this has gone on since February!! My daughter has had no bedroom furniture for 5 months now and god knows how much longer! Its very frustrating because as i try to cancel they tell me i have to give 30% for return but its not fair being I haven’t received any furniture at all!! So this means i have to wait for i dont know how much longer or give 30% for canceling 🤦🏻‍♀️ Very disappointed

I have been waiting for my bedroom set since November and everytime i call they change the date! How am I suppose to have an empty bedroom and my children without a bed for 5 months now and for them to tell me if i cancel its 30% when i haven't received any merchandise ‍! this is sooooo frustrating

I had not been in the actual store in a while and was impressed. I found a couch I liked and was able to complete the rest of the transaction via my smart phone at home (I live an hour away). When I need another furniture item, I will definitely call Maria!

The worst place you could possibly go as a young furniture buyer! I spent 3k and every single piece of furniture had to be replaced. The guy that sold it to us never contacted us or was of any help. I'm still having issues a year later.... I understand Covid but our heater went out and it takes 5 weeks to replace. Our 400 dollar ottoman collapsed. My mother suggested us here because we wanted brand new high quality items. Hugely disappointed. Also the customer service is a joke! They make you feel stupid for their fuck ups! I was told once that they couldn't help and didn't have anything left to say to me... line how about a replacement? Yikes!!!

Last summer I purchased a few furniture sets...our bar height kitchen table set one of the chairs is wobbly... I purchased a 4 yr $400 warranty on furniture... I sent in pictures as they asked been over a week they still haven't made a decision... what the hell did I pay $400 for... don't waste ur money on warranty... u have to deal with a completely different company... the quality of there furniture isn't all that great ...an they denied replacing my broke chair what is the $400 protection plan for then I'll never shop at Ashley furniture again or recommend them !!!

Called earlier to inquire how to dismantle a very wobbly bunk bed. A condescending sales person “looked” at the product instructions and said there is NO way to split the bunk bed into two twins beds, and he doesn’t know what else he can do for me. After a little digging on the store website, I found clear instructions. It’s perfectly fine that he was not able to find the information, but I thought sales people are supposed to be helpful and not rude.

We placed an order in early June, and we were quoted mid July delivery. This changed to early August, then mid August, then mid September, etc. Every time we were told this was the last postponment, and obviously we were lied to. Ashley was unapologetic and refused responsibility for the nondelivery. We requested a refund for the goods that were never delivered, and were threatened with a 30% cancellation fee. If you pay for furniture in advance, Ashley has no incentive to deliver, as they charge their commission to the customer, whether they actually deliver the furniture or not. We finally got our order on mid September. We requested a refund of our shipping charges, due to the delay, and the manager agreed.

I bought a $1500 sectional in August. Was told that it would be delivered early October because it would be in stock at the end of September. I called on October 5th expecting some kind of good news. Instead the rude lady on the phone told me they have no clue when my sectional will be in stock or when they will deliver it. One of my friends also ordered a couch and waited over 5 months and ended up canceling bc they told him they had no clue when they could deliver. This is absolutely unacceptable. How can you sell furniture with no clue when you can deliver? I will never buy from Ashley furniture again. They act all nice in person so you will purchase something and then as soon as you do they ghost you. So now I’m stuck with an empty living room because I spent $1500 on a sectional that’s floating in limbo China.

It was a trick. We did specifically ask the return policy in the seller said 30% off with restocking fee didn’t tell us within a day or a month or 45 days. We try to return in three weeks not a month yet and the guy said the restocking fee is just apply for the next day only. I’m disappointed

Has anyone had any good luck with Ashley furniture recently? They have a bed I was trying to order and it has been a nightmare. I mean the math doesn’t add up... and they lost my order that I have a confirmation number for... AND now they are saying they can’t actually deliver it despite the order that I already placed that said they could. It is a great price but I am seeing a lot of negative reviews lately and this is super frustrating. I have pictures but can’t add them here unfortunately.

I have seen a lot of negative reviews about Ashley and not sure why. Let me phrase it this way furniture is not made like it was back in the day and nothing wears well these days unless you spend a ton of money and who does that. I went back in July with parent as she needed a kitchen set. She has a hard time walking and the salesman immediately got a chair and spoke to my mom asked her questions on what she was looking for and got to know her needs. He was not pushy and explained all the items she could get but she didn&'t need to get all of them but was explained items in the collection. She has a hard time walking, but John Circelli our salesman was very patient. He gave us a number of delivery dates that were open and he made the delivery process very easy. The items came when promised/ the delivery team I have to say we&'re not the best and once the set was set up the delivery guys left immediately and mom was not thrilled with the chairs as she felt they were too big, but we signed off on the delivery. We called John explained the situation and he reached out to his manager which he called us that same day and gave us options and within 2 days we had replacement chairs that fit our needs better. All items were delivered with no damage. I had one issue with a chair and the warranty company is replacing the chair no questions asked. I know some people have bad experiences at stores but that happens everywhere and being in customer service related field I know that people post all bad reviews when they have the experience, but people that have a good experience tend to overlook it and don&'t post a review. I see a lot of bad reviews, but Ashely is a huge company and I sure they deliver and sell a lot more than the reviews posted and if everyone posted reviews I believe Ashely would have a higher rating. I see a lot of bad reviews over the past few months but have to remember we have a pandemic and a lot of reps are not in the office and was explained that by John (my rep) and his manager so I know reaching someone would be hard and delivery times could change and availability could change but I have seen that everywhere so this is not isolated to Ashley and we all need to calm down. My rep gave me an alt number to call the store and I had never had an issue and all my concerns were addressed immediately. I would recommend this store and I had gone to the Downers Grove Location and worked with John Circelli and he was an exceptional salesman and went above and beyond to help my mom.

I bought a set of sofa, loveseat and chair Warnerton power reclining. This set cost me over 8000$. And not even 3 years, the material is in a messed condition. The material comes out itself. I call the assurance company to request a cover... they said they couldn't do anything for me. Just married, and got my living room set, dining room set and bedroom set to Ashley furniture. I will never ever buy or advise someone to waste his money buying their furniture there... they don't have good quality as they always say. Really disappointed 😞

I received great service in the store by Craig I think? He was very helpful on two different occasions. We ordered a new couch and table at the beginning of June.However, we were told our couch and new table would be delivered in July 29th which was Perfect because we just moved into our place that week. We were told we would receive a call on Monday regarding our delivery for Wednesday. We did not hear anything so when we called we found out we’re not getting our items now until August 21st and they only deliver on Wednesday. I’m frustrated because that week we start our college classes and interrupts that week.We planned ahead for this furniture especially on the specific delivery day they told us. One top of this I have to go one whole month without furniture. Although Craig did provide great service I am upset by the lack of communication and the fact we are without furniture for longer. I should not have to wait 2 1/2 months to receive items I payed $3000 for.

Here goes..I ordered my couch March 3rd. I was told 2-3 week would be delivered. It was delivered 43 days later. I complained they said they’d refund my shipping. I said thank you so much I would appreciate it. My furniture was delivered a mess! 2 stains on white couch and the whole buttom of the couch off. My husband got a stapler from the hardware store and had to put the bottom cloth back on before we could even put the legs on to use the couch. I was so upset! I called and Ashley Furniture a lady said to me ..life is short and my furnace is going out while you complain about a couch! I spent $2000 on this couch! So yes I can complain lady! She sent me a $100 gift card for Ashley furniture which I won’t even use! Fast forward to July 1st still no shipping refund! They won’t reply back to my messages anymore. I reached out April 21st they said they were going to take care of it. May 13 - they said still working on it. June 23rd no reply. I’m done with this place !!!!

My fiancé and I had the best experience buying a new bedroom set and mattress from Jesse Miller at the Champaign, IL store. Jesse really listened to our needs and wants, was patient and got us prices that we felt really comfortable with. I loved that he wasn’t pushy and even brought up solutions we hadn’t even considered. I will never buy Ashley brand furniture again. Our couch and love seat is 2 years old. It started peeling when we had it a year. Ashley Furniture said it is normal wear and tear. Not even the extended warranty we purchased will cover it.

I give this particular location less than 1 star, I wish I could give a zero for the worse customer experience. I'll say this one time, DO NOT get your furniture from this particular store, your furniture will be delayed for weeks, don't plan anything around this store. Delivery is NEVER on time, they will push your delivery date at their own pace with automated messages. Then there's the 30% refund fee, yes thirty percent refund fee... meaning if you want to get a refund they keep 30% of what you paid for... and guess what you receive in return? Nothing but lie after lie. I don't normally do reviews but again if you want to get ripped off and lied to about the delivery of your furniture then shop here. Again, shop here if you like being lied to and cheated out of your money!

Very dis-appointed in the customer service - so called white glove delivery. I live in SD and called the Champaign IL store to buy a lift chair for my Aunt who lives in Danville IL, have it delivered and setup for her. I placed the order with the assistant manager Craig and he assured me that my $ 80.00 for white glove service would guarantee proper delivery and they would not leave until my Aunt was able to use the chair. Well on Wednesday Dec 11 the white glove service was deliver to door no setup etc. Called store to complain and was told by the delivery service manager that she called my aunt when the delivery guys arrived early and got permission for them to just drop. My Aunt's assistant Ron said Aunt asked them to wait 15 minutes for him to arrive and they refused. I had explained to Craig the need for good delivery and he failed to make sure instructions on form would ensure that it happened. I will not trust this store with future needs. - Ron did get the chair assembled and in my aunts room she is happy with the chair, Ron says chair is well built and likes the way it works. To bad the white glove delivery did not happen as this would then have been a 5 star review. Saw store response, my aunt's request was for you to deliver during the time you scheduled, and that was refused. So yes with the option of letting you leave the chair or reschedule deliver she accepted your leaving the chair. You could have had them wait or come back per scheduled time.

Horrible product experience over and over again!! Sales staff did a fine job but the quality of furnishings received and problems with delivery will make me choose different store in the future. I had furnished one home many years ago and had zero issues. That is not the case 5 years later. Placed order for items in July. When Items were delivered bed was missing pieces so could not be used and had to sleep at hotel that evening. They did send service tech the following day. The following day arrived and he had most pieces but one was broken to operate the drawer under the bed. 6 months later I am still waiting on replacement piece to use the drawer under the bed. During same delivery as above couch was delivered missing the legs and had to place on hard wood floors with out legs ending up with scratches on the floor. They did remove shipping but honestly not adequate as I had to stay at hotel and be inconvenienced waiting for multiple service visits. I would have gladly kept the delivery fee Once again still waiting on replacement piece from 6 months ago. A month ago I ordered two more matching bar stools to match the two I purchased in July. I picked these up but when got them home one was missing a piece to put it together. Had to have this piece shipped to home. This next purchase was my fault. Believing in the Ashley product I made the mistake of ordering AGAIN a month ago. Two bunk beds were delivered. Once piece at the top of the later shattered into pieces where a child would put it legs to get down. Had to call for a service tech and leave work early again to get this fixed so nobody was harmed trying to get in and out of bed. 3 days after installation of bunk beds the bottom bunk falls down and one of my children scratched her hand trying to catch herself. Once again had to request a service tech. This tech was scheduled form 4-6 pm. I had to leave work early to be there. At 6 pm the service tech was a no show. He offered to be there by 10 pm??? I have 4 little girls that are sleeping at that time.He finally was able to get there by 7 pm and repair all beds as they all were not assembled 100%. Dresser to match girls beds was delivered today. Expecting an easy delivery but no. The legs did not screw into the dresser. No remedy for this has been offered yet. None the less it will consist of another service tech and multiple visits. Every order placed was delivered broken and or missing parts. Multiple service tech visits on my time and general disruption of my life. Once again still waiting on a piece to get delivered for bed purchased 6 months ago. I have never written a review to be honest but with all that has happened I thought I should warn others about the possible product issues. It is truly unfortunate that this happened as I have used them before and was satisfied enough to order again but clearly not the same company..

I was told that I could only have the floor model if I agreed to spend an additional $1500 to purchase additional pieces that I do not need and that will not fit into my space. They will not break up the set. Yes, I understand that it will be harder for Ashley to sell one off pieces of a set, but I would think that it would be better than disappointing a customer. I received an $1800 refund and was told 'sorry'. I requested that the manager be notified that I was not happy and have not received a call. I contacted Ashley through their Facebook Messenger and have not received a response either. Disappointing! I will not be back.

My only negative thing about Ashley's is the pickup... friday and Saturday only. Cool glad to know my stuff is sitting in the warehouse but I have to wait for no reason besides that how we do it here

My wife and I went in to this location multiple times looking for a sofa for our family room and came across Jesse. Jesse was not only helpful but also extremely knowledgeable. He was patient courteous and not at all pushy. He took his time showing us options which fit exactly what we had in mind. He truly went above and beyond to assist us. We went a different route yet he thanked us and was happy we found what we were looking for. He provided us with world class customer service at it’s best. He is a true consultant. Ashley furniture you struck gold with Jesse. To all of you reading this if you are in need of furniture and want to work with someone who genuinely cares about his clients ask for Jesse. I bought a full living room set from this store last year. Chris was extremely helpful in helping us pick out a great set and ensured that we got the those sweet Black Friday savings. The furniture is top notch and has been perfect for me for the last year. Delivery was great, the crew had everything off the truck and into my living room in just a few minutes.

My husband and I previously purchased a dining set at Ashley's and was very pleased with our salesman Wade as he took his time to show us all our options. Recently we returned to look at bedroom sets. Again, Wade was very pleasant and helpful in showing us all the different options.

I had been putting off buying furniture for my living room for quite sometime. I had been looking online at Ashley’s for the past couple weeks and decided today 10/13/19 I was going to go shop there. I was greeted by Jesse and he was so pleasant to work with. He was very patient and explained all the questions I had. The sales staff is great and make it a breeze to help you find exactly what you need. Purchased a new bed (frame) and mattress from here earlier this year. Couldn't be happier with my purchase and the staff!

Had my very first trip to Ashley furniture today and was amazing. I will no longer go anywhere else for furniture for my home. Craig was absolutely amazing, helpful and went above and beyond! highly recommend asking for him

One of your employees in the Champaign store called Chris was very helpful. His customers service was awesome and he was very patient. When I first walked in I did not intend to buy anything but the way he treated me made me buy a few things.

My husband and I went into ashley looking for a sectional to fir our living room. Chris was so helpful in showing us the options that we had. He mad sure he spend time with us showing us the different options. He was never pushy and very helpful.

Do not purchase here! Bought a mattress and base with delivery and set up. Set up was terrible. I got on the bed and everything was not stable. you literally could move the bed with one finger. Once I got on and reclined the ergo base I heard a loud pop. I put it back to normal, got off and saw it snapped my bed rail. Called Chris and &"they are looking into it&". That was over a month ago. He will tell you what you want to hear for the sale but once things go wrong you never hear back from him. Very disappointed. Will never do business with them again.

I’ve made two trips into the store in the last five days. Both times experienced a lack of service. First trip: I found the sofa I was interested in. Waited for 15 minutes and was never approached by a sales representative. I flagged down a manager who told me that I needed to talk to whomever greeted me at the door (which was nobody). He then tried to show me a different couch than the one I wanted. He said he would go get a salesperson to help me out further. I walked out after another 10 minutes of waiting. Second trip: I found the same couch at This Is It Furniture for much cheaper, but it would take a few weeks to get it in stock. I returned to Ashley in hopes that they could get the product that day, and maybe get the price down a little closer to the This Is It deal. Again was not greeted when I walked in. I meandered around the store for 20 minutes and was never approached by anybody. I walked out again and will now be buying from their rival.

Worse services ever ordered 4 rooms of furniture. Never informed that one whole room would not be delivered with order. Nobody can answer my question of why this happened and why I was not informed!!!!! Requested a call from a manager with no response. Spend your money somewhere else!
