Nice selection of amazing furniture. Amazing delivery. Super fast and efficient. Recommended!
This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture store. They made my move a living nightmare. I picked out my furniture on April 4, to be delivered on July 1 when my lease would start. On June 30, I decided to call and double check what time the furniture would be coming because I was never given a delivery time. When I called, the rep informed me that my furniture would not be arriving and that it was backordered for another 20 DAYS. I had absolutely no furniture in my new unit and had to wait weeks to receive any. Was anyone ever going to call me to inform me that it was backordered? And how was it not backordered when I placed the order in April? When I went into the store to completely cancel the order, the manager waived the delivery fee. I realized it would be hell to try to find new furniture in such a short period of time, so I decided to just wait since they were at least able to move the delivery date to July 12. A few days before July 12, I looked through the invoice and realized the sales rep, Jennifer, had only order one nightstand when I asked for two, and she added the bedroom mirror even though I said I didn’t want one. I called to have that fixed and she assured me she would make the necessary changes. I also asked about my delivery time, and we agreed on having a 1-4pm delivery (she told me the slot was open). I booked the freight elevator in my building for 1-4pm. A day before my delivery, I got a call to confirm my delivery for 2:30-6:30pm. I was annoyed that Jennifer told me 1-4 would work, but all I could do was hope they would show up before 4 because there was another move-in after me. When the furniture arrived at 4:30pm, there were some delays with the elevator but thankfully it worked out. I thought all my problems with this store were finally done. HOWEVER, I was furious to find that only one nightstand was delivered. How did she manage to cancel the mirror order and yet not add on the other nightstand? Now I have to call AGAIN to deal with another one of Jennifer’s mistakes. I wish I could go back to April and choose another furniture store to purchase from because this was the biggest headache.
This location is all about sales and not about customer service. I went in the store having never been to an Ashley Furniture. I even opened up a new credit card with them and I chose my bed. The sales rep knew my mattress was on back order and did not tell me so she would not lose the sale. I ended up learning that my mattress would be delivered 4-5 days later after waiting 9 days for the bed set. I called the store and the store manager Adam provided an appeasement over the phone and when I followed up in person at the store he was acting as if he had NEVER spoke with me before. He gave me a small credit and I told him I was calling corporate because I was being mistreated and misinformed and he threatened me and yelled "well give me back the gift card I gave you since you're calling corporate!" Overall horrible experience.
Beautiful furniture that can be purchased cheaper.
Kathy Brunner helped us so much today!!!!!! We got an incredible couch and a coffee table with ease! Love this place!!
Absolutely awful staff at this store. They tried belittling us and insulted our finances when we couldn’t afford their upsell.
My experience here at this Ashley furniture was absolutely horrible. The lady that was helping me with my order was new, she was very nice but did have a lot of questions. I didn't mind that she had to refer back to her manager to get my questions answered accurately. However, her manager seemed very irritated and was very condescending to her during this process. Is seemed like he wanted to make a sale so he did help me out however it was not a pleasant experience. I explaied to him that I didn't know if I wanted to wait until the Memorial Day sale to purchase. He told me not to worry that he would honor the Memorial Day sale on top of what he was giving me. I am also in sales and I know how discounts and coupons work so I asked him in 3 different ways just to make sure we were on the same page. Once Memorial Day sale came around I called so that my discount can be honored. They told me they would call me back and never did. A few days later I called again. There was a lady by the name of Barbara that was helping me. She then assured me she would give me a call back and once again I never heard from her. I then called her again a few days later. They told me she would call me back and I explain to them that this had already happened repeatedly and I never got a call back. They assured me that she would. She did call that same day and left me a message saying that she would give me store credit. I was not happy with this being that they told me they would honor the discount and refund me. I called her back but did not have to explain my disappointment in her decision because she then told me that she was going to go ahead and refund me the difference. She said she needed to check with her supervisors and confirm the credit card even though I had it in my possession and they had it in their records. Weird. She again never called me back. Its took 3 weeks for me to get an actual final decision made. And that's only because I called back. When I called to speak to Barbara I let her know that I was very upset with the time period of the matter and the fact that no one was calling me back. She then told me she called and my voicemail was full. That wasn't inaccurate because my voicemail was never full and I never had a missed call from them. She then told me that she was not going to refund me the difference because my initial discount was better than the Memorial Day sale. In customer service when you tell somebody something you should honor it. Not change midway and tell me that you can't refund me after I was told I would be refunded twice. I then ask for a customer service number to complain. She gave me a number a number that doesn't handle complaints. Absolutely horrible. I wish I remembered the other 2 assoicates that helped me! My sales lady would have gotten a good review for her customer service but Barbara and the other guy HORRIBLE!
Went in with an open mind just to look and get a few ideas for our new apartment. We were in the market for a sectional for the living room. We’ve always liked the quality of Ashely’s home store furniture. Moving is always a pain so when we saw a few pieces we liked we were quickly discouraged at our wine taste on a beer budget mentality. When approached by the sales associate Nigel he showed us similar pieces at their home store prices we liked allot better. While he was approving our financing application we were approached by Adam the manager on duty. Adam had taken notice that we were looking at the mattresses while making our way around the store. He asked us a few questions about our sleep quality and without knowing us he was able to figure out all of our sleep problems. Super knowledgeable he then took us to a mattress in store that measures your pressure points when sleeping. After seeing our pressure points he then found the perfect mattress for us and as soon as we laid down and felt the difference we quickly said take our money! Being that we weren’t in the market for a mattress we were extremely out of budget. Adam then talked with Nigel and was able to write us up a deal we couldn’t say no too. We were then greeted by Lesly who got us and explained all of our financing delivery and paperwork. We got the mattress we didn’t know we needed and an awesome sectional for the new living room. Awesome people and very knowledgeable overall excellent experience :D
Poor service, went to return an item and the manager was too busy "checking emails" than to come serve a customer, then had to ask why I was returning the item as if I needed a good explanation. Luckily one employee stepped up and helped me with the return.
Unfortunately, it was a very difficult process working with this specific furniture store in Roscoe Village. We were not told that our furniture was damaged and would delay our scheduled date for furniture to be moved. After multiple attempts to reach the store that day, we heard back from a manager 6 hours later. In addition, it took multiple attempts both via phone call and email to schedule with the furniture company when they would be able to deliver the furniture again even forcing us to have to go into company to speak with a manager to confirm our furniture would be delivered. We never received call backs and email exchanges from management, however we were able to finally have a wonderful connection with Adam took the time and consideration to understand what was happening with our furniture and allowing us to receive a certification of insurance (COI). This process took several weeks, and was very frustrating. I would not recommend choosing furniture from this store to ensure you do not have to go through time and frustration like we did.
The store was nice and they have nice furniture which i ordered but if you actually want it delivered hah well that’s another story! I’m so irritated with this company as I’ve been waiting for my furniture for a month now and it continues to be delayed! If you do get furniture from here and you live in a condo building I would look elsewhere because they take forever to give you their delivery insurance (make sure you ask way in advance) and it doesn’t meet the proper requirements. They were suppose to deliver today regardless that the insurance was wrong and confirmed with them and another person I was emailing with yet they decided to take me off the schedule without even informing me so I have been wasting my time waiting for them to come. This is getting to the point where I would rather cancel which is also inconvenient. Anyways beware their delivery team is incompetent
I worked with Sanee to get a sofa and an accent chair. He was very helpful, and the furniture is beautiful.
Bad costumer service
Helpful employees who aren’t too pushy
Great experience ask for Corrine or Jessenia thank you to Martha for all 😊💞💝
Pregunta por Nigel. Con sus consejos y experiencia te ayuda a elegir las mejores opciones y es muy amable y simpático!
My goodness it is unbelievably worst customer service at all. Very unprofessional, liar and all the bad adjective you can think of. Please spare yourself from trouble, don’t on this store. Horrible place to go...
Came into the store pretty late expecting to struggle to find help and was extremely surprised with the amazing service from Sanee. He greeted me at the door, was extremely knowledgeable, and super efficient with getting me everything I needed. Was in and out of the store in 30 mins and got everything set up down to delivery. Definitely exceeded my expectations!
