Honestly terrible. Sales person seemed nice. We ordered 2 bedroom sets and a dining table with chairs at the beginning of November. The sales person ordered the wrong box spring so we immediately contacted the store when we received it and we were told that we have to pay a restocking fee, even though the salesperson was the one who ordered the wrong part. Then we were told that we would be contacted for someone to come pick up the wrong part. That was over a month ago with no contact at all since. We just have a king size box spring sitting in our room taking up space. We still haven't received our dining table and chairs. We were told 4-6 weeks. It has been over 2 months. The store is impossible to get ahold of, no one ever answers the phone so I have to drive down to the store to get in contact with anyone. I like Ashley's furniture, but this location is lacking when it comes to service. Update: got an update for my dining table, end of February. 4.5 months...

I had an amazing experience shopping with Dustan! He was reliable, communicative, and very helpful! Shopping for furniture can be overwhelming and stressful, but he helped made it easier and more pleasant.

Connor is a rock star a very helpful. I just hope I get my new items in a week or so.

Treated VERY well throughout my purchase. Our salesman Xander was professional and helpful but never pushed or oversold, wasn’t nagging, and allowed us a chance to look but was available for questions. He was willing to help me crawl under furniture to look at quality, and worked with management to get me a great deal! Will definitely be back to Ashley in the future!

I went looking for a recliner couch. After describing what I was looking for, Xander showed just a couple of models that fit right into my description so it did not take me long at all to pick the right one for me!

Exceptional Service — Latrinda Truly Stands Out Our experience at Ashley HomeStore was excellent, and that is almost entirely because of Latrinda Love. Latrinda is the kind of salesperson every store wishes they had. She was knowledgeable, patient, attentive, and incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. This was a major purchase for us — a full living room setup plus a Tempur-Pedic mattress — and she took the time to understand our needs, explain options clearly, and make sure we felt confident and comfortable with every decision. What really stood out was her professionalism and care. She never rushed us, never pressured us, and made sure every detail was correct — from dimensions and comfort levels to protection plans, delivery expectations, and financing. She genuinely wanted us to walk out feeling excited and assured, and we absolutely did. The only downside to an otherwise flawless experience had nothing to do with Latrinda herself: we did have to wait at one point because she needed access/credentials to complete part of the process. That said, this actually highlighted how capable she is — she clearly knows what she’s doing and would be even more effective if she had her own credentials to move customers through more quickly. Giving her that access would only improve the customer experience and reduce unnecessary delays. Overall, Latrinda is a true asset to Ashley HomeStore. Very clean showroom..staff very helpful

Great selection great customer service. Had an idea of what we were looking for from their website. They didn't have the item we mist wanted to see in stock, so they showed us items with comparable fabrics and details. Arranged delivery and will update further upon delivery. *update #1- upon purchase we were told delivery would be in less than a couple weeks, first part of October. Got a text a couple days later that stated it would be at leave 4 weeks. Now we have a month with no furniture. I firmly believe if they are going to lie about delivery time and have you wait for your purchase, and go extended time periods with no furniture, they need to be compensating for these things in price. *Update #2-upon trying to contact them, they got back to us to state the furniture has "gotten delayed a little bit" and is now showing early November. Now we're approaching 2 months of waiting for our purchase.

BUYERS BE AWARE !!!!!!!!!! NO REFUND POLICY. We bought a $1000 bed a $1500 dresser and a $500 dining set. Within 24 hours decided the dresser was overpriced. I called and asked for a refund on the dresser only. We were informed there would be a 15% penalty and then we would only receive in store credit. They pressured us into paying with debit card. They said they would waive the fee (which they did) because we were going to bring in cash on Monday. Now I see why they wanted the sale that day. Seems like some shady stuff going on.

Sad to say, but I wish there was an option for ZERO stars AND I will NEVER patronize this location or any of the locations owned by this owner (Peoria, Blooomington, Champaign, Peru). I was in this week to look for a new couch & found one that I liked. Went home to talk it over with the family. When I pulled up their website to show them the couch, I realized the online price was substantially cheaper. Not only that, but an Ashley store location 2 1/2 hours from me was selling this same set for even less. When I called the East Peoria location to ask if they would price match not only the internet price, but also the other Ashley store price, I was met with vague answers & excuses. Excuses that "they hadn't had time to mark their inventory for the summer price deal to match the internet price". As for matching another Ashley's store price, I was given the most vague and run around answer possible. And I was also told they could not place an order for me over the phone due to the potential for credit card fraud. After thanking the salesperson for their tim,. It was made quite apparent they were not willing to work with me or interested in a sale. I called the Ashley store 2 1/2 hours from me to see if they had any suggestions and if it would be possible to order from them. I spoke with Ethan and I can not say enough nice things about him. He was pleasant and graciously listened to my ranting about the store closest to me. To top things off, he was more than willing to complete the purchase for me over the phone AND honored the price on Ashley's website. WAY TO GO EVAN!! You won me over, but more importantly, I will call you the next time I am needing furniture.

We walked into Ashley furniture to see our options for a new mattress or new bed and was greeted right away by a gentleman that introduced himself as Amourionne and asked if we need any help we told him what we were looking for and he walked us through the store and showed us all our options and when we decided to purchase a whole bedroom set he worked with our budget we set and completed our order and we we're so satisfied with his customer service skills I asked for the manager to let him know what a awesome job this young man had done taking care of me and the wife I highly recommend shopping at Ashley furniture in East Peoria IL and I would also recommend Amourionne as a great salesman to help also 😀

My current sofa, which is an Ashley sofa, needed to be replaced so I began the search for a new sofa. For me, this experience is always a huge pain in the butt. I looked online at many sites (including the Ashley site) and just couldn’t find what I was looking for. After visiting three other stores closer to home, I ventured out to the Ashley store in East Peoria and worked with Zander Swank. I did my best to express what I was looking for and he showed me a handful of options, including a couple that fit my main needs that I hadn’t seen on the site. I went home to mull over my options and discovered a couple more on the website. I went back to the store to discuss what I’d found and he did everything he could to educate me on the different choices, along with continuing to point out another option based on how the discussion was going, which led me to the Biscoe power reclining sofa. I took the evening to think it over and discovered two other options. When I went back the next day, he showed me those options and I discovered that the Biscoe sofa was truly the best choice. I can’t sing the praises of Ashley Furniture and Zander Swank enough. He was absolutely amazing!! Not only did he do everything to help me to find the right fit in a sofa, he was extremely informative on the products, very empathetic to my needs, and provided a low-pressure buying experience, which will bring me back to purchase more furniture a whole lot sooner than I had in the past. Keep up the amazing job Zander and the rest of the wonderful staff at the East Peoria Ashley Furniture store!!! You’re the best!!

Extremely poor service. I am utterly disappointed m I was strongly assured of home delivery of product in 5 days or in 10 days at the max. It's been 21 days so far and it's been 30 phone calls and several hours of my time wasted with false assurances of delivery in a few days which turned out be lies. Thry seem to not value the time of customers . Several hours of my precious time wasted in these phone calls and no delivery date in sight yet. They also somehow redirect the phonecall and you never get to speak with the manager.

Connor was excellent. He really took the time with us. We was shopping around looking at different stores to buy., but because Connor was so great. We came back and bought from him. Thanks Connor keep up the great work.

Wish i could give this review zero stars. Paid for delivery and installation of new sectional couch. They use a third party for deliveries. Once day of delivery came, the third party was stating it would not fit downstairs. My options were to pay a restocking fee (which no one could tell me what this fee would be) or to have them leave it in the garage. At work with no other choice, I had them leave it in the garage. Upon removing the packaging around the sectional, there was no issues in getting it downstairs..... The delivery team didn't even try, it was raining, and they just didn't want to deal with it. I would highly avoid based off the third-party delivery team. Tried to reach out to Chris Shepard via email and phoning the store with no response back yet after a few weeks.

Got a couch and coffee table from here waited for delivery day never showed, called 3 times to figure out didnt answer twice and never called back after said they would. If i hadnt picked up the coffee table i would still waiting for it too.

Chris Shepherd showed us every TV cabinet and many mattresses at the Ashley Store on Tuesday.We did not by anything on Tuesday but we went home and measured our available space. Then we went back today, Wednesday, and bought both the Beauty Rest and a 72" TV cabinet. Chris told us that his wife was being induced today so he was taking a 2 week vacation to help his wife with their new baby. He told us to deal with his manager should we want to buy either furniture item and to tell his manager that he had helped us find what we were looking for. Chris was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Conner is a very knowledgeable salesperson...he new exactly what to say when asked a question regarding the merchandise...well trained. "Good Salesperson"! The best!

I stopped in looking for a mattress for my elderly mother who is having problems falling out of bed. Xander Swank was my salesman and he was extremely helpful, listened to my requests, didn’t pressure sell, worked within her budget, explained mattress differences, and even laid on the beds to compare the edge support & “slide out of bed factor”. His help with this purchase was much appreciated!

I visited this location while in town for mother's day to get my grandmother a new chair. When I walked in the store I was greeted by everyone with a warm smile and the feeling of being in the right place. I was helped by am amazing person named Amourionne who is the definition of excellent customer service. He asked about key factors of my grandmother in order to find the right chair for her and the most economical. He stayed with us until the chair was loaded into our vehicle. The company did great bringing a salesman on board of his caliber. Anyone go here I'm sure everyone will help judging by the energy I received but I would definitely go back to Amourionne again.

Sale went well but then they no longer cared. Delivery took twice as long as it was supposed to. Ok fine. Then delivery day came. Was given a 3 hour time slot for them to come. They arrived early and called. They then got very upset when I said I’d be 15 minutes to get there (they were 20min early for the start of their slotted time). Then said they weren’t fitting to wait all day on anyone, I was wrong for this and hung up. I sent them a screenshot of the time slot I was given and said I’d be there shortly. They then put my items on my porch. Signed for me and left. Said call whoever lol. Your stuff is on the porch. Tried calling the delivery peoples’ main line and the store. Left messages and waited. Delivered Friday afternoon and now late Monday night with no response. I’ll find somewhere else that wants my business. May have only been a couch and coffee table but I need a lot more and WILL NOT be going there. Also I am a realtor and will make sure everyone knows how they handle their supposed “business”. Very disappointing and thought about retuning out of principle but I know they will hold me to their agreement and charge a fee even though they don’t honor theirs. UPDATE a month later they responded to my review. And it was a blanket apology. Asking me to reach out to them. Well if they were any business they would have responded to me back when I tried before posting this review more than once too. That was their shot and they still can’t get it right. Read a lot of the reviews here folks!

Good inventory. Lots of options to choose from. Takes almost 3 weeks for them to deliver the product after the purchase even though warehouse is in Bloomington. Expecting better and speedy delivery service for the price and fees paid for the product.

If I could give less stars I would. Order $10k in furniture and was told it would be 2-3 weeks. At 5 weeks I had to call multiple times just to figure out where my stuff was and no one could give me an answer on when it would be delivered. Finally got delivery set up only to be told one piece I ordered was broken and they would get a new one shipped and then deliver it. Set up delivery two weeks later for that and delivery never showed. Called the store multiple times and finally talked to a person, their text chat never responds, that person told me they would take my info and call me back then never did. Went down to the store and the open sign is on 5 minutes before close and the doors are locked. Don’t buy from here if you actually value customer service and getting what you paid for. Should have gone to Sherman’s. Quick update: about 5 minutes after posting this I was contacted regarding my issues. Turns out my nightstand still is not in and they are saying another 3-4 weeks. Supposedly the person that called and set my delivery up was supposed to tell me that and instead set up my delivery that never arrived. The GM did make an attempt to deliver a floor model but it was missing paint and the shelf was cracking off! He said he would locate another one and get it to me asap and I still have not heard anything. Will update when I finally hear something, so probably never at this rate.

We were looking for a specific power chair and we found just what was wanted. Very helpful and not pushy like some seem sales people seem to be. Great furniture store and excellent employees.

Bought a new dinning room table. The paid installers/delivery drivers damaged it, did a terrible job assembling it. Then they damaged my mail box when leaving. I even tipped them $40 because they worked through lunch to assemble it. Contact the store and was told they weren't responsible for the damage. The furniture had to all be re tightened and it cost $250 to have my mail box repaired. Go elsewhere then here. Furniture is poor quality.

BJ was very helpful and polite, couldn't say enough nice things about how he treated me, the customer; Xander as well who carried items to my vehicle and carefully put them in. One item was wobbly and needed repairing so was left behind. I received a text the next day reading it was ready for pickup. Two days later, I went to pick it up. The item couldn't be found. One person thought it might've ended up at a different, farther away store. They weren't sure why I received the text reading it was fixed and ready. They checked with another person who said yes, they were responsible for sending the text it was ready. I eventually found the item in the store, unfixed, in the same spot it was the day I purchased the items. A person took it to the back to fix; another person carried it out to my vehicle. Once home (35-40 min one way from store), we found out it wasn't fixed after all. Lesson learned.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Ordered a couch here for nearly $2000. Less than 48 hours later I attempted to cancel the order due to delivery times. I was told they could cancel the order, but I would be charged nearly $600 for "restocking" even though the item never even left the factory. AVOID THESE OVERPRICED SCAMMERS!

We are looking at 10 weeks even though they told us it would be 4-6 weeks but that it would be faster. Called Champaign and East Peoria leaving messages and they never called back. Got a text saying I could text them to continue the conversation. No response. Any communication would have improved the situation

I received exceptional customer service from Latrinda. She was professional and polite.

The sales people were great. The delivery was a debacle. I asked if they took the couch out, they said they did for a $50 charge. Not a problem! They said you have cash, or cash app. I said I have cash app, but this cash is for you as a tip. They went outside, I assumed to put the couch in the truck, then come get payment from me. I looked out my window, the truck was gone, but the couch was in the middle of my driveway. I’m a disabled veteran, and it hurt me to actually have to move that couch. Because I couldn’t have a couch in the middle of my driveway all night. I called this place around 445. And I have still not received a call back. I called them again today. I ended up getting hung up on. Right now I am so mad! I would not send my dead mother to buy a furniture off of you. Have a great day! Update: we have worked through the issue. The sales staff are to make the client aware in the purchasing process, that they can’t remove an old couch. The kids said they do instead of letting me know they can’t, the left the couch in the driveway and disappeared. If they would have come in and communicated that policy says that can’t do that, no problem. The whole issue could have been fixed by a little communication. They have since taken care of the issue. I will return business here.

Walked in to the Ashley store in E Peoria just to look. Walked around a good 20 minutes before I was acknowledged. Then Chris came up and introduced himself. He was not pushy and gave me space to look which I appreciate. I ended up buying a living room set and of course I went with Chris. Excellent service, very personable and took care of all my needs. Bedroom set on the horizon and Chris will be who I use. Thank you Update: was promised an April 4 delivery. Luckily I called to make sure it was coming and lo and behold there was an issue and I will not be getting my furniture until May 2. I found out it has been sitting in the warehouse since it was supposed to be delivered. I now have to wait an additional 30 days. I paid roughly $200 for delivery because I live 22 miles away, too far I guess for timely delivery. I will never purchase anything else from here. Stegers is more expensive but at least you can get your stuff!

From the time my husband and I walked in, it was okay. We purchased a couch, and we were told 4-5 weeks for delivery . We got a call about week 5 stating that the couch was discontinued, but we could purchase the floor model. When the time came for delivery, the drivers pulled in our driveway, and as my husband went inside to move our old couch, the delivery driver literally pulled out of the driveway and left without saying anything. We got ahold of Dawn at the wearhouse, and she apologized and stated the couch was not even on the delivery truck (when we were promised it would be personally from her). At this point being very frustrated (mind you I have never had to call a furniture place so many times for a couch), I called 3 times that Saturday and asked to speak with Joe (the store manager). I was told he would call back. Now, being rescheduled for delivery the following week, we finally got our couch but never will be getting anything again from Ashley Furniture. Joe never called, We felt "ghosted" and, like, we were not cared about to keep as a customer. I did receive a refund only because I was not paying full price for a floor model and had to ask. It was not near what we purchased or even a 1/4. The customer service was terrible when it came to any communication from Joe. To this day, there is no communication from him. I'm not happy, but it's a waste of my time and energy to try and reach out as I'm sure I'll be "avoided." UPDATE 2/25/2025 BJ called (assistant manager) and was wonderful to speak to and helping resolve the communication on behalf of Ashley Furniture and did apologize.

I am told this is a family owned, maybe franchise, of Ashley Home Furniture. I purchased an entire bedroom set in October 2024. Two weeks ago the side rail just broke and I fell to the floor. I called for assistance in getting my bed repaired under an approved Ashly Corp warranty dept. I was told both on the phone and email by the warranty representative (Jose Jamer..) that my warranty would be honored after sending pictures. I explained that I am 72 years old and disabled and would not be able to do the repair and was promised someone would be sent to help me. The replacement side rail arrived left in my porch where it stayed until I could get help bringing it indoors. I called the Corp Ashley customer service and they said there is nothing they can do about getting the replacement side rail put on my bed. So, thinking I might be able to get someone local to assist me, I called this Ashley Peoria Outlet store. A very polite person told me that, while they can see the warranty information in their records there is nothing they can do because it is not their “sale”. When I said I would have to throw the new bed away and just buy another one then, the person offered to transfer my call over to sales. So, I’m pulling out all the stops here. WOULD YOU SUPPORT ANY RETAILER WHO WOULD TREAT ANY PRRSON, LET ALONE A 72YEAR OLD DISABLED ONE, LIKE THIS?

We were there quite awhile and she treated as though we were the only customer in the store. Sales guy was trying to be helpful but I work hard and I need a new bed waiting a month longer for something I paid so much money for... it's sounds like it's gonna be 2 months from the time paying till I get a new bed... if you need it soon I do not recommend this place. They did get ahold of me and get the bed earlier but the pillows that they told me they already had received where not there. I told them I want my money back and ordered them from Amazon it was 4 dollars more and I will have gotten them sooner. Just a point to be made things are not running correctly there.

I visited the Ashley Furniture store in East Peoria today for the first time, hoping to find a piece of art to hang above my king-size bed. The store was quiet, with more staff than customers, so I expected a smooth experience. I asked Marissa, one of the sales associates, about an item, and she recommended I check the outlet section for better deals. I found a piece I liked in the outlet section and asked about the price. Marissa tried to help but seemed unsure, so she called over two other employees for assistance. Even with three employees involved, they still didn’t have an answer and eventually had to ask the manager, Joe. At this point, I felt like I was being hustled. Despite Marissa recommending the outlet section for discounted items, they claimed the piece I wanted was full price. The lack of consistency, professionalism, and the overall runaround left me incredibly frustrated. I left without making a purchase and won’t be returning.

Due to physical restraints yesterday was 1 of those rare days I was able to get out and enjoy the day. I decided to go to Ashley Furniture to look at side tables & recliners. Latrinda greeted me at the door with a warm smile & offer of assistance. I generally avoid ‘sales people’ wherever I can. But I quickly found Latrinda was not your typical ‘sales person’. She genuinely wanted to help me, not push me in to buying something I didn’t really want. I told her the state of my living room and how I was looking to transition it from a more formal look & feel to a cozy, more inviting space. She understood me right away & began leading me through the show room pointing out every piece she thought I might like & she knew every feature & maker of just about every piece in the store. Latrinda patiently waited as I took time, tried out & doubled back on anything that caught my interest. I never felt pushed, hurried, nor ignored. On the rare occasions I do get out, I want to make the most of it. Latrinda made it a wonderful experience for me.

Surely answered my questions about the method of payment we were using and he direct us to the tea of the store where the recliners were. He gave me and my husband the privacy needed to decide on our purchase but at the same time he was attentive to any question we may have. We had a great experience, closed the sale pretty fast and now just waiting for our couch-recliner to be delivered. Ashley's has always been our go-to for furniture purchases. They're sales team have never made us feel pressured or uncomfortable. They are always having sales and overall it's always an easy process.

They suck, we ordered 6400 in furniture. I asked for 1500 back not waiting 39 days for delivery. I contacted the owner. And was refunded 6400. And banned from the store. Went to Sherman's and spent 2800 and was delivered the next day. I'm 67, they treated me like crap.

They told me I would have my couch delivered today and had confirmation and even had the time sent to my email and I confirmed it. Today, we had a really great experience with our salesman, Chris, at the Ashley Furniture store. In a non intrusive manner, he politely followed us around and placed little mints on the covers for me and my wife as we tried out each bed on the showroom floor. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the customer service received in this store or the number of cinnamon candies we stuffed in our pockets as we left, likely eating away at most of the commission he received from our sale. I feel confident that if I was ever put into a situation where Chris needed someone to protect him in a prison shower, I am 100% his man.

Ashley sent out a 20% off flyer so I went in and bought a couch. The next day, I look online and they have the same couch listed $500 less than in their store. So they agree to match their own online price but won't honor the 20% off. To be clear, they weren't matching a competitor price. This was their own. I'd highly recommend going into the store, find what you want and then go online because if you don't, you're probably overpaying and they're not going to make it right.
