My first day in, Latrinda greeted me at the front door with a big smile. I was just coming to browse and probably would have just looked at prices mostly, but after she explained some of the features on the sofas, I wound up buying one I wouldn't have otherwise. Came back today to make the purchase and Latrinda had 2 other people waiting to buy from her, which speaks highly to me on her people and sales skills. I'm excited to get my new couch!!
Connor was very pleasant and easy to talk to. He did a great job of explaining each item. He was very patient with us as we had many choices. Connor went above and beyond for us. We would give him 10 stars if we could.
Sales guy was trying to be helpful but I work hard and I need a new bed waiting a month longer for something I paid so much money for... it's sounds like it's gonna be 2 months from the time paying till I get a new bed... if you need it soon I do not recommend this place. They did get ahold of me and get the bed earlier but the pillows that they told me they already had received where not there. I told them I want my money back and ordered them from Amazon it was 4 dollars more and I will have gotten them sooner. Just a point to be made things are not running correctly there.

I visited the Ashley Furniture store in East Peoria today for the first time, hoping to find a piece of art to hang above my king-size bed. The store was quiet, with more staff than customers, so I expected a smooth experience. I asked Marissa, one of the sales associates, about an item, and she recommended I check the outlet section for better deals. I found a piece I liked in the outlet section and asked about the price. Marissa tried to help but seemed unsure, so she called over two other employees for assistance. Even with three employees involved, they still didn’t have an answer and eventually had to ask the manager, Joe. At this point, I felt like I was being hustled. Despite Marissa recommending the outlet section for discounted items, they claimed the piece I wanted was full price. The lack of consistency, professionalism, and the overall runaround left me incredibly frustrated. I left without making a purchase and won’t be returning.

I liked the store personally, but one of the staff did not stop following us around, furniture and everything was great but she prevented us from seeing most of the products. We were tempted to leave the second we realized. Honestly go here if you want some good mattresses or couches but be wary of this woman.

We popped in yesterday to Ashley East Peoria to find furniture for our new place. Colette greeted us & chatted for a bit. We ended up loving a sofa & couple end tables. My wife and I worked with Adam and we're very pleased with the experience. First off, he introduced himself as we entered, directed us to the areas of the store that contained the items we were looking to purchase, and then left us to look at our own pace. He didn't follow us around but we found him easily when we had decided on the furniture we wished to purchase. The whole process was simple and Adam left us to shop at our own pace. Great job!

Once we decided on the couch and chairs we wanted, BJ the Selling Assistant Manager answered any questions we had and worked quickly to complete our purchase. I had a very positive experience at this location! I was browsing through a number of couches, and staff (Colette and others) were very responsive/helpful with checking in. They were cooperative and respectful, and helped guide me through the purchasing process while not putting any pressure on a purchase. While I have not gotten my couch yet (to verify quality), I can say the store experience was fantastic!

I found one I like but was not 100% sure so she printed me off all the details about the table and chairs and gave me her business card with her days and hours that she was working .I would definitely return to her for any other furniture needs I might have. Due to physical restraints yesterday was 1 of those rare days I was able to get out and enjoy the day. I decided to go to Ashley Furniture to look at side tables & recliners. Latrinda greeted me at the door with a warm smile & offer of assistance. I generally avoid ‘sales people’ wherever I can. But I quickly found Latrinda was not your typical ‘sales person’. She genuinely wanted to help me, not push me in to buying something I didn’t really want. I told her the state of my living room and how I was looking to transition it from a more formal look & feel to a cozy, more inviting space. She understood me right away & began leading me through the show room pointing out every piece she thought I might like & she knew every feature & maker of just about every piece in the store. Latrinda patiently waited as I took time, tried out & doubled back on anything that caught my interest. I never felt pushed, hurried, nor ignored. On the rare occasions I do get out, I want to make the most of it. Latrinda made it a wonderful experience for me.

All of my experiences with Ashley have been great. I'm always greeted with friendly faces and they always help anyway they can to find the right piece for me! Two years ago I found the perfect entertainment stand at Ashley for my living room and its still looks like the day we brought it home. Very sturdy and durable. Now, this week I went to browse for a new couch. Robert was wonderful to work with. He made sure to show me all of my options and was there for any questions or concerns. My couch will be delivered in 4 weeks and I'm so thankful for their services!

Surely answered my questions about the method of payment we were using and he direct us to the tea of the store where the recliners were. He gave me and my husband the privacy needed to decide on our purchase but at the same time he was attentive to any question we may have. We had a great experience, closed the sale pretty fast and now just waiting for our couch-recliner to be delivered. Can’t wait and I really recommend to go and visit them if you are in the look for new furniture.

They told me I would have my couch delivered today and had confirmation and even had the time sent to my email and I confirmed it. I took the time to move my couch out of the house just to have to bring it back in after I finally called the customer service for them to say they haven’t even received it at the distribution center and they will call me when it comes in.

Today, we had a really great experience with our salesman, Chris, at the Ashley Furniture store. In a non intrusive manner, he politely followed us around and placed little mints on the covers for me and my wife as we tried out each bed on the showroom floor. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the customer service received in this store or the number of cinnamon candies we stuffed in our pockets as we left, likely eating away at most of the commission he received from our sale. I feel confident that if I was ever put into a situation where Chris needed someone to protect him in a prison shower, I am 100% his man.

Ashley sent out a 20% off flyer so I went in and bought a couch. The next day, I look online and they have the same couch listed $500 less than in their store. So they agree to match their own online price but won't honor the 20% off. To be clear, they weren't matching a competitor price. This was their own. I'd highly recommend going into the store, find what you want and then go online because if you don't, you're probably overpaying and they're not going to make it right.

Having done customer service for 18 years to be a good sales person you have to know your product. I went into your competition just down the street and the employee sat in her chair. She said hello but she seemed interested and all she was worried about was talking to her coworker. As I walked out, she leaned back in her comfy office chair and said thank you for stopping by. I want to edit my review. I posted the day I bought the furniture. I should have waited until delivered. This has been worse experience I have ever had purchasing furniture. It has caused me so much anxiety everything from delivery to customer service and now I have learned they charged me twice. Instead of $7200 I owe $14,400!!! My credit has been affected by all this. I have filed a claim but it takes 60 days to resolve. I'm unable to get anyone from customer service at Ashley to even answer. I'm working with the finance company. I could list everything wrong that has happened since my purchase but I don't have room on this post. I will never buy from Ashley furniture again and would never recommend to anyone. I wish I could return all that I have purchased from them because it causes me stress just to look at the furniture and be reminded what I've been through. FYI I have never left a bad review before to anyone. I worked with BJ at EPeoria location to purchase a sectional and bed. He was very helpful with my purchase at Ashley's. BJ went out of his way to find out what I needed. I changed things up a few times and he was very willing to help me figure out the best option to finance. He also moved a lot of furniture around at the store to match to the sectional I wanted which made the experience even better.

She told me about the amazing protection plan too! She explained everything about the pricing and she matched the price on what one I was looking at online. **Poor quality, buy something used and higher quality if on a budget. Review isn't specific to store, but overall business. Furniture they sell looks great in the showroom and they have seemingly affordable prices. But the reality is the furniture will not withstand the wear and tear of a family with children. My Ashley pieces (dining room table/chairs & sectional) are in the worst shape of all furniture in my home and have had them less than 5 years. Much happier with my used Lazy Boy and Thomasville couches...more comfortable and maintaining shape.

All though I have had some disappointing aspects of my orders with Ashely’s, I can say I like my furniture and the customer service worker BJ is Amazing. He helped us through all of our troubles with the organization. He made us feel welcome and like our business was appreciated even when we had a bunch of problems arise. My bed that was recommended to me is comfy as well and my bed set is pretty. I would recommend though Ashley organize their website better so it would stop being inconvenient for customers and stores. Thank you BJ for all your hard work and being patient with us.

Warranty on the sale wasn't fully explained until deal was written. We were under the assumption it came with the purchase of the product not a optional add on. We had already sat long enough, we did not want wait for him to rewrite. Also, we picked up the purchased item and they would not wrap item. Reluctantly, gave us a couple of pieces of cardboard to protect top of table during transport.

Went into the store a little before closing and not super certain about what my friend and I needed. BJ was absolutely phenomenal and greeted us upon entering, checked in on what we needed, and gave us a quick overview of the store. The store was great and we were able to find a great end table that is perfect for our space. BJ went above and beyond and helped us load it into our car. The employees at the store are great very helpful we bought furniture and they hire out to have it delivered and the delivery company put a hole in my my wall and they tell ya they contact the delivery company haven't heard nothing just keep being told we told them to contact you apparently your not a valued costumer after you pay and leave the store

I bought a couch in the middle of Jan. 2023. I was told it would take 3 to 6 weeks for it to be manufactured. The great news was, I was told it was in their warehouse in Normal, IL on Feb. 10, 3 weeks later. I was very happy to hear that. I paid $149. for delivery. But, when I was told the only delivery date in my area is one day a month, the first Friday of the month. This is my disappointment, I have to wait 3 weeks to have my couch delivered. So, now the couch will be sitting in a warehouse for 3 weeks, before it can be delivered. I found out they deliver two days a week to Pekin/South Pekin. I am only 7 miles from South Pekin. That didn’t matter. They said the next 6 days of that delivery area was full and could not put my couch on the truck for those days. I asked the Manager, Gary, if March 3 was fully scheduled already would I have to wait for next month. He said yes. I never thought or have heard of furniture taking 3 weeks for delivery once it is received at the warehouse. I wonder what the $149. for delivery is really going for? This kind of service is ridiculous. I would fire the scheduler of delivery. No customer service any longer.

*update* Our furniture was delivered damaged in September after waiting 4 months for its arrival. We still have yet to have it fixed. No compensation for my time or inconvenience when this is their mistake. We paid thousands of dollars for low quality service/products. 10/10 do not recommend shopping this company. They are a headache to work with. We had the pleasure of working with BJ and Jennifer. Excellent and timely service. Both very helpful answered all of our questions with a smile. Even with a rambunctious toddler straggling with us they made us feel welcome.

So happy with my experience at Ashley! It took me several trips into the store and many questions to make a final decision, and Latrinda was very knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy! She listened to what I was wanting and was extremely helpful.
Worked with Ms. Latrinda Love today at Ashley...she told us about the mattresses that would best help my back pain. We wanted a medium, hybrid and we went with Sealy Posturepedic. There is a 21 day trial IF you buy an expensive mattress cover for $120. The hitch to this is that, if you do not like the mattress, they take a $200 dollar penalty off your return because mattresses can't be restocked. Also delivery is 2 weeks out. We could get it from Normal (35 mins away) as early as Tuesday but if we do that, then if we don't like it we have to drive it back ourselves. Too many little obstacles. Was hoping to get a mattress today. But...Ms Love was such a sweetheart and assured me the chances of us not liking our $3042 purchase (we got a power adjustable base as well) was slim to none, so I am trusting in that and hoping for a painless sleep which I havent had in so many years. Kendra helped us through the entire process, from ordering, until we were fully satisfied with the end result in our dining room that our grandkids have dubbed, “Grandma’s Restaurant!” We had a few shipping issues that were immediately and generously resolved by Ashley Furniture, and we love the look and quality of our new dining room. I recently purchased furniture for my new home at Ashley furniture store and I not only recommend Ashley Furniture for their wonderful selections of high quality merchandise, but I highly encourage others to ask for Chris Shepard as their sales agent. Chris met and greeted us at the door when we arrived. I personally do not like to immediately start working with a sales person because I like to browse the store first; however, Chris had such a pleasant personality and he really seemed very eager to help me find just the right pieces for my living room. Any questions that I had that he could not immediately answer he quickly got answers for me from his peers. Another thing that impressed me was his patience when I was deciding on which pieces to buy and how they would look together. I had more pieces to purchase, but because of time constraints I only had time to purchase living room furniture that day. I told him I would return the following week and did. Chris was there and went out of his way to work with room and furniture measurements for a dinette table I wanted and even gave me almost a full $100.00 off the listed price. Chris loves his job and loves helping people find just what they are looking for and he is the best at calling me with updates on when my furniture will arrive and even calls me to invite me to a special sale that is being held at the store. You can not go wrong if you go to Ashley for your furniture needs and make sure to ask for Chris Shepard.

Or Sat. because that's the only days the warehouse men are there (we work on fri. and Sat. Got a Bedroom and Dining room set from East Peoria Ashley store. The sales rep Angel is 2nd to none. She was great working with. Waited 6 months for cheap junk that doesn't look like what we ordered. Assembly crew put half the stuff together backwards. Part of the bed we ordered simply refuses to screw into it's hole. I'm so over it. This is the second junk bed I've ordered through this garbage company. Never again.

I am extremely displeased with Ashley furniture. I purchased a couch from a saleswoman named Angel Ford, who was terribly unprofessional. She was very nice during the purchase process where I spent over $3,000. The couch wouldn't fit into my condo, so the delivery guys had to return it. Nothing was said, they just said you'll have to do a repick, and I should go back into the store. Upon entering Angel Ford my sales rep said quote " I heard you refused the couch". I was taken back and said no, that's not correct, we actually loved the couch. Your guys couldn't get it to fit. I actually tipped both delivery guys $20 each because they were awesome. My saleslady - not so much. She immediately began elevating her voice to me inappropriately, so I simply asked for my refund and left. They charged me $160 15% restocking FEE! BUYER BEWARE - ONCE THEY WERE SO HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL I LOOKED AT THIER YELP RATING & FOUND ITS THE WORST IVE EVER SEEN!!!! I am 60 years old and have NEVER written a bad review. This is the FIRST, and they deserve it. If you shop here BEWARE
Drove from out of town to the East Peoria store to pick up a table they had in stock. The hours on internet said open till 6:00 Arrived before 5:00 and they were all closed up. Checked there time again sure enough open till 6:00 what a waste of gas on a major business! What kind of business closes before their Designated time!😡😡
This store sell furniture that they do not have and cannot deliver. They took my money 6 months ago and have promised that my furniture will arrive before thanks giving, then before Christmas, then now I was told MAYBE end of December. This type deception to costumers should not be allowed and should be illegal!!! I will never recommend this store and will never purchase from them EVER AGAIN!!!
Will never buy from Ashley again. Bought 3 living room set in 4 years. Ordered a ottoman that will not be in until February, so i canceled and they charge a cancellation fee of 111.00 on a 359 purchase that even isn’t built . I tried to redeem my extended warranty after 4 year, but the East Peoria mgr told me i need to go to the store where i bought it. She is a real ….., Never again. I hope they pay her bonus with the 381.00 they stole. Great customer service!

Stevie talked me into giving him a check with a 24 hour HOLD. After talking about it, I decided against the purchase, 3 years less on the warranty and $500.00 more. I canceled today at 12:00pm well before 4:22pm and they deposited my check and refused to give me my money back, it will be 2 weeks! This was never stated, again, I was told a 24 hour HOLD! We ordered new living room furniture and dinning room table and chairs back in april of 2021 and was told 16 weeks or sooner well that didn’t happen we are now at 20 weeks and STILL NO SOFA AND LOVE SEAT but on the 19 of aug was told it was on the truck and they told me i would have it the first week of September if not the second week of September so i called the store today for them too tell me its not going to be here till the middle of the month …………FOR THE LOVE OF GOD EITHER GET ME MY FURNITURE OR REFUND ME MY MONEY

My family and I purchased furniture back around the end of May. TheEast Peoria store stated that the furniture may not be in until late August. Which was fine, but the guy working with us tried to sell us a chipped dresser and did not know anything about the dresser or his job. We brushed it off as it might have been one of his first days there. Surprisingly the new furniture came much earlier than expected which was great! However, today we were supposed to receive the furniture between the set times of 3:15pm and 6:15pm. No contact was made between those times from the delivery drivers or the store. At 6:12pm I contacted the store and spoke to a wonderful lady who helped me figure everything out and take care of my complaint.However, the drivers neglected to tell us that their truck had broken down and that they were supposed to send us an email that had never came. The lady explained to us that we should have the furniture by 8:15pm. We heard nothing until 8:00pm from the drivers calling and saying “We are not coming its too late sorry.” Now we have to wait until tomorrow morning to get the furniture which is fine, but the no contact/update is extremely unacceptable.

Ordered a bedroom furniture set back in the end of march. I was told at the time that they give a long delivery window ( a few months ) but it never takes that long so the fool i was i decided to order. It is now July 28th, 2021 well past the 16 week deadline that i was guaranteed, the only thing we have received was a bed and mattress the rest of our order two dressers, and a bed frame still haven't arrived. Every update we get we just get pushed father and father back. Finally a few days ago after being told it would be the end of August i gave up and cancelled the order . today we get called and Miraculously it has arrived and they asked if we wanted to go ahead and pay for the order. However even though my furniture has arrived i was told it was still going to be 3 weeks because " others have been waiting longer " i decided to continue with the cancellation and get refunded i would not recommend this place to anyone
My first (and last) time experience with Ashley Furniture has not been good.. read on before buying... Poor quality, poor customer service, and waste of money for extended protection/warranty. Less than 2 years after purchasing 2 couches and 1 reclining chair 2 items have had major issues. One with a seam and the other with the mechanism for the reclining chair. While they did reluctantly agree to replace the reclining chair mechanism they definitely do not cover the poor quality work where the seam is separating. The furniture these items replaced were 10 years old and still in great shape, but Less than 2 years with Ashley furniture and they fall apart. Save your money and buy from someone else.

Angel was very helpful! I went in and was trying to decide which mattress to get and she wasn't pushy. She knew her products. When I decided which one I wanted, I called and set up an appointment with her. She was very knowledgeable and helped me with my purchase of a new bed, chair and rug. She never made me feel like I had to rush. An amazing asset to Ashley!

Stevie is a very nice salesman, he wasn’t pushy with the sale and didn’t seem only interested in selling us something. We ended purchasing a Couch and Chair set and noticed when we got home that it was cheaper online. I called and he responded very quickly and got us the cheaper price that was online without a hassle. Very friendly store.

Morgan did an EXCELLENT job at helping us pick out the bedroom set that was perfect for us on her very first day on the sales floor!!!! Mindy helped us get the final sale all finished up and was very friendly and helpful! We do love our new bedroom set, but pickup was a HUGE hassle because Morgan accidently ordered the wrong size mattress for our new bed. We ended up waiting an additional week for the correct one(a king size). However, they did deliver the corrected mattress directly to us. I think they would get a lot better reviews if the delivery fee over a set amount purchased was free instead of $300!!
We walked into the store to buy a new sectional and some other furniture for our new home. The store was not very crowded, several workers were walking around asking customers if they need assistance. However we walked all the way to the back of the store and back to the front without being asked if we needed help at one point we were walked passed two times by the same man who’s went right passed us to ask some older customers if they were still ok... Long story short we went to a different store in Peoria and bought our furniture there.... $7500 worth!

We recently purchased a sectional from the east peoria il store the sectional was the tambo 2 piece reclining sectional. We financed the sectional as we had also purchsed a new dining room table the same day. Before we could even make our first payment on the sectional it had mutiple rips and tears. We have 2 dogs who are older and always have their nails trimmed, none of our other furniture has rips or tears. We only got new furniture because we moved and had more space for a larger sectional. When we contacted them about the quality of the product they quoted us at over $600 to fix the sectional with no discount or accountability for their product. Needless to say we will never shop there again. So if you are looking for quality in your sectional probably need to look elsewhere.

When I received the parts (the little plastic pieces that protect the glass from scratching against the metal), I only received a small portion of the amount I needed. I had to call back multiple times to get someone to answer. I haven't received the new parts so I may update review if they screw it up ANOTHER time. Overall a very frustrating experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone buy from Ashley. Not worth the hassle.

I accidentally called the East Peoria rather than Champaign store. Dealt with a delightful salesperson, appropriately named Angel. Went to the Champaign Ashley, and I asked for. Imagine my disappointment when I was told she was not at this store! However.. She talked to me several times during the next few days, following my order from warehouse to home. Now that's a fantastic employee! Thanks Angel!

My husband and I brought a tv stand from them and we had to pick it up because they would take to long to deliver it which was on the floor and now we have gotten a sofa and table and chair and are still waiting to get them when half of the order is in and they would not bring it to us now with everything going on I will probably have to wait even longer wish they could have gave us something for the extra wait plus the one sales person I would talk to is no longer there I would not shop here I would just buy online you get it a lot faster

He was very accommodating and worked with whatever I wanted to do in making decisions, which to me is a great quality in sales. I purchased a rocker recliner from I guess they call it the outlet store, in E. Peoria. The girl told me if I was having trouble with it or anything else I could return it , because I had up to a year on it. Well that proved to be a lie. It's making funny noises when you recline it and I keep slipping to the right side. It also has a vibrator and heat on it, which I've never used. But you can feel the pad where it's at and it hurts my back. I guess it doesn't matter how much you pay. As long as they get your money they are done taking care of you. BUYER BEWARE !!! Wow update! I just received a call from Tracy ,At Ashley Furniture. She asked me about the problems I was having with my chair. She suggested a part that it could be an is having it shipped to my home. This has made a believer out of me. Also she will send a technician out to fix it. Thank you Tracy . You have restored my faith in your company.

Bryce and the staff at the East Peoria Homestore were awesome. They repaired and assisted me in utilizing my one year warranty. They were friendly and went out of their way to help my wife and I. I went to Ashley Homestore for a new mattress, i met with Angel there and she helped me find a new mattress, box spring, AND a bed frame for my mother. Angel, at the East Peoria location, is THE, BEST. My mom and I went in this passed Sunday just to look around and get some ideas for furniture for my living room since I was in need for some grown-up furniture. Angel was friendly and helpful the moment we walked in. She helped me find the perfect couch, recommended some fantastic dining room furniture ideas, and showed me what a lift top coffee table was *gasp* I had no idea those existed, but I'm certainly glad I do now. far better solution for what I need than an ottoman. But I think the best part of working with Angel is that I was nervous my furniture wouldn't fit in my door, and she showed me literature to ease my mind about that. I'm hoping to not need new furniture any time soon. But when I do, I know where I'm going, and I know who I want to help me.

Worst experience EVER not only did it take way longer than I was promised for delivery ! My dresser was damaged before I even got it ! I don’t want repaired items !!!! I Did not pay thousands of dollars for BROKEN / repaired furniture !!! I Will NEVER EVER GO THERE again !!!

UPDATE: We purchased the loveseat and couch. Was delivered 2 days ago and LOVE it. Went back last night to purchase some side table to go with the new loveseat and couch. Lily is wonderful to work with! Went in to browse as we are planning to redo our livingroom when my husband gets home from deployment. Josh was fantastic! He let us browse a while then checked on us and asked all the right questions. Found a loveseat and couch that i just love!! It was a great experience.
We purchased a table and six chairs from Ashleys in East PeorIa. When it was delivered it came with a wobbly table and a poor staining job on the table and all 6 chairs. We reported it to your customer service. It took many phone calls to get someone out to look at it. Once Tyler looked at it he said he was going to recommend Ashley replace the entire table and chairs. He said we should get a call in a couple of days from customer service. After waiting 6 days I called to see what was being done. I was told 3 chair backs were ordered and nothing was in the report about the other 3 chairs or the wobbly table. Now we are told a man will be coming out to put the 3 new backs on and they will have him check the wobbly table. My next call is to the consumer fraud division of the state Attorney General.

Horrible customer service, ordered a couch that sits nothing like floor model we sat in. Only fix's offered we 15% exchange fee or 30% return fee. Fine if we changed out minds but we didn't get what we were expecting at all. Update: This review was left after already calling your customer service number provided. 72 hour return or exchange window, could start a warranty review but told comfort is not a warranty issue. not willing to possibly be stuck with this set. Floor model we sat in was a dream ,furniture we got is painful to sit in and nobody seams to care or willing to really do anything about it
Olivia was extremely helpful and polite from the first phone call to the end of our order. We placed an order for headboard and footboard, 2 nightstands, a chest of drawers and a dresser. We walked in and ordered a new island from a "kid" who you could tell only wanted the sell and didnt care about "us". We payed extra to have it put together and stated we would pick it up ourselves since we live an hr away. My husband stated he could bring the trailor up the next week to pick it up and the employee stated that that was fine. Did not tell us ANYTHING bout having to wait several weeks for it to come in. We called back a week later when we didnt hear anything and then was told it was going to be towards the beginning of October before we got it. I called the 1st week of October and they said it would be there the middle of October and to call back. I asked again why we werent told this when we first ordered it and all she could do was apologize, which I understood. I called again October 17 and they stated it looks like it wont be until the end of October. I asked why it keeps taking so long and she stated they have 30-42 days. I stated its been about 42 days and she condescendedly stated "No ma'am". I asked, "Ok well how long has it been?" and she stated "39 days". OH OK! But it still is going to be 2 more weeks... well over 42 days and its still not here. They have nice furniture but the customer service is lacking and will tell you anything to get the sell.
Turn around and run away! Seriously! Ashley has the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. The number that they provide you with will ring for over thirty minuets just to be picked up and then immediately hung up on you. I have called over 10 times, same thing, no luck. I had an issue with a product not being shipped on time. I attempted to call, finally found a work around to talk to a human by pretending I had an issue with my credit card. After I was able to talk to someone they informed me that their system says the product would ship at a later date but yet never sent me and email about this new information. Finally the item was shipped and delivered but the item was severely damaged. Obviously they are using a cheap provider for delivery that is late and ignorant of the parcel. The item being damaged forced me to repeat this above nightmare. STAY AWAY. THE TIME I HAVE SPENT DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY ISN'T NEARLY WORTH MY ENTIRE DINING SET.

Purchased furniture 8/25 it’s now 9/28 I still have no delivery time. Same furniture set on amazon was available and it said it would ship the next day. I was told they are going to charge me 30% if I cancel. I’d recommend looking on amazon after you get the name of your set. Deliver with this company is 45 days + Or more!!!.

I worked with Alexa on the outlet side of the store! I was in a time crunch and the store was closing within a half hour after I arrived. Alexa stayed an hour late to go over furniture with me. Additionally, since I wasn't able to get everything taken care of that day Alexa called me on Facetime and texted me pictures of what was available and what could be ordered in my style preference. Alexa went above and beyond normal customer service expectations. She also assisted in finding styles and furniture on the other side of the store. I will definitely come back to shop at Ashley Home Furniture for the rest of my household needs.

Michael at the East Peoria store was very patient and helpful. He was willing to answer all our questions and even allowed us to move a bench in front of a bed that we were looking at so we could have better visual. He was willing to help us with the price point we wanted and did the research to back up his information. Very reliable and dedicated to the sale and customers. Not pushy at all. He was great at the follow through too even after the sale was done and let us know any updates on our order.

I took advantage of the 4th of July sale and bought a chest of drawers, but I wanted to wait until it was delivered to write a review....Michael showed me exactly what I described right away. He was super helpful and got everything squared away no problem. This chest of drawers is almost as tall as I am. It holds SO much (the new place has a tiny closet) and it’s GORGEOUS! I love it!

I can not say enough positive things about my experience at the East Peoria Ashley store. Maddy, Jen, and Aaron were more then helpful and accommodating! They were all very knowledgeable with the products and if they weren’t sure of a question I had they were quick to find the answer. I went in with a plan and knew what I wanted, until it came to measurements that would not work. They all worked with me for a lengthy amount of time to find items that would work with my space and go well with changes that we plan to make in the future. I am usually not eager about writing a review, but I am super excited about doing this one. Michael at the Ashley Furniture Home Store in East Peoria really deserves this review. It is an amazing salesman. I am all about customers’ satisfaction – Michael delivered – I think Ashley Furniture leadership should be proud of him. My wife and I went to look for some furniture for our new home. As soon as we entered the store, we were greeted by Michael. Very courteously, he welcomed us to the store. I personally do not like when salesmen follow you everywhere and try to push you to buy stuff. I was hoping that Michael would not do that. Well, he did not. He just told us: “let me know if you have any questions”. We had many questions, which he answered so promptly. Unfortunately, on that day, my wife didn’t like anything in the store. So, we decided to go the Peoria’s store. But here is why I believe his leadership should be proud of him. Michael asked for our contact in case there were new stuff in the store. After just 20 min out of the store, Michael sent me a text saying “Thank you guys for spending time with me this evening looking for new pieces for your home! While you are visiting Peoria location, take some pictures and let me know…”. I was impressed. I realized that this guy really wanted to sell us furniture. At that point, we made the decision to stick with Ashley Furniture and check furniture online so that Michael can earn our business. We found some furniture that we liked and requested a quote through messages. Michael responded promptly to our request. We picked the furniture and went to the East Peoria store to buy them. Michael was there to sold us the furniture. My wife was happy with the purchase. It was a really good experience. A very polite salesman who does not strategically bug customers, but still get them to buy the products, it is hard to find in furniture stores.

Poor customer service. Delivery did not happen as promised - week late, did not perform hall away, left with 16yr old before adult could arrive home. Not cooperative when confronted by issues. Not what I expected for what I paid for the furniture. Update: I was quoted at time of purchase 1 week delivery. 2 days after purchase, it was confirmed as 1 week delivery. I had no update until promised delivery date. Manager was no helpful issues were presented. When I left in was told I could bo longer purchase from their store. Instead of working to resolve the issue and build a return customer, manager made sure I will share this negative experience with as many people as possible.
Terrible customer service. Product not delivered on time. Old items not removed like promised. Delivery left with 16yr old when no parents at home. For what I spent I would have expected much more.
We went into Ashley furniture today just trying to get an idea for some new furniture for a newly purchased home. We ended up purchasing everything we needed with the help of Tamia. She went out of her way to show us exactly what we talked about and then some. We looked online with her as well but ended up getting everything in the store with her help. Our new living room, dining room, and bedroom will look amazing with all our new purchases. Tamia is a Great Asset to this company!
I am a first time homeowner and this was the first time for me making a large furniture purchase so I wasn’t sure what to expect. My boyfriend and I visited quite a few furniture stores and we were blown away by Kami at Ashley Furniture. We knew after meeting her and going to a bunch of different places that we were definitely giving our business to Ashley Furniture in East Peoria. She was not pushy at all and was so easy to talk to. She was so patient and kind with us. Her personality is unmatched and she has a way of putting you at ease. What I thought was going to be an extremely stressful process ended up actually being fun thanks to having her to help us! She was so knowledgeable and even helped us match end tables and lamps to our furniture. She spent hours with us and never once acted as if we were inconvienancing her. She made sure to price match everything for us to get us the lowest price possible. It didn’t even feel like we were furniture shopping, it felt like we were hanging out with a friend we’d known for years! Once we had everything picked out, Aaron the manager found us even better deals then we were already getting and was so easy to talk to and work with! He made sure all of our questions had been answered and that we were happy and had found everything we were looking for and for the right price! Jen was also very kind when making the final payment even though by that time the store was closed. She wasn’t annoyed and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Thank you all to making this experience absolutely wonderful! You have a great team and beautiful furniture! I will definitely be recommending this store and location to anyone looking to buy furniture and plan on shopping here for future needs!

BEWARE of using Ashley Furniture. Our sofa and loveseat were damaged by the delivery team and our basement stairwell was damaged on BOTH SIDES by the men. It took over 2 months of email correspondence and, finally, calling the supervisor of the claims representative 3 times before we even STARTED to resolve the situation. We received a small compensation to have ONE wall painted. I would never buy anything at Ashley Furniture - the store manager was unresponsive to the problem saying that it is the delivery company's responsibility. It is the manager's responsibility to utilize a delivery company that does not damage your home with total disregard. This is my first review on BBB - I have never been treated so poorly as a customer.

I recently bought a white tall chest at Ashley Furniture in East Peoria. I love the piece . It is just what I was looking for . Very sturdy and had extra features of cedar lined drawers and felt lined for jewelry. Ben,Aaron, and Lily went out of their way to make this a wonderful shopping experience . You are greeted warmly and will find a beautiful selection of furniture. The delivery team was wonderful also in helping us to set up our new piece. I will definitely return there for our furniture needs,👍

I bought a couch and loveseat. Never did they mention that pickups were only Fri-Sat and only in the Peoria store until I signed the paperwork. I work weekends and told the salesman this when looking. I said that would not work and they called the warehouse and agreed to setup a time during the week. After waiting 3 weeks for it to be in stock I had gotten a call offering half price delivery, most furnitures stores in our area offer free delivery, they came today but wanted me to sign a waiver to take it in my house. I have a large window that comes out to put couches in my living room, I explained this when they offered white glove delivery. They use contractors for delivery so I called Ashley Store to see if they would accept liability if anything was damaged. After talking to several people and telling me that this was unusual I told the representative that I explained the situation and the manager had said that would not be an issue before I took the delivery offer. The driver said the waiver was for damage to the house and the rep said it was for the workers. I asked to just leave the furniture in the drive and I would take care of it and asked for a refund for the delivery. They were reluctant at first but I mentioned that if I would have bought the furniture a few days later it would have been free delivery because of an offer and the furniture was also cheaper. The driver was taking pictures but did not pull the plastic all the way off and I wanted to inspect myself before signing. I found the back of the loveseat was damaged. I now have to wait an unknown amount of time for the loveseat back. There is more that happened but I just wont do business with them again. ***UPDATE 4-11-19*** So I received the loveseat back a couple weeks later but it was not repaired. The material was massaged out and you could barely see the damage until it was in the right light. One side of the loveseat back had a bad lean and was very uncomfortable to sit in. I called to get service. An outside company called me to schedule repair but after a few schduled times and being on hold for over 2 hours I called Ashley and they scheduled their in house tech. He came out and found the mechanism was damaged and bent. He ordered replacement and a few days later a huge box showed up at my house. I was not aware they were drop shipping to my house. I not only had to find a place to store this gigantic box and but had to call to schedule the service again. Almost 2 months after my purchase I finally could sit on my loveseat. The technician also replaced the damaged back piece that was initially ignored. During the repair I also found an extra screw that was in behind the material and would have made a hole if not found. I am not happy about the quality of the product compared to the price. The technician Al did a much better job at stuffing the new back then the factory. It is the only piece that is symmetrical across the piece. The others are all lopsided. My opinion has not changed about the fact I will not buy furniture from Ashley again.

If you want to go there and feel like you're in the middle of car purchase negotiation, then this is the place for you! I do not like the process of their sales tactics whatsoever! They have nice inventory but will not budge of prices even when you are paying cash!!! I was ready to buy but I was not going to sit there and go through hours of negotiation on a piece of furniture. We also visited the Peoria store the same day and we were greeted at the door by a salesman, then were followed by said salesman all throughout the store. It was uncomfortable and we were basically running away from him and out of the store after about 5 minutes of being followed!!!

We stopped in on Friday night about an hour before they were to close. ( I worked in retail years ago would cringe when customers would come in that late in the day... ) Our sales person Maddy assured us it was fine and don't hurry while looking around. We had actually picked and priced our selections on line but then varied it a bit from that with Maddie's help. She then checked for all possible discounts and best price for our selections which actually lowered our expected price. Maddy was a big help with our mattress selection, she is very knowledgeable about all that we had to chose from . When went to the front desk for Mindy to finish our deal, at closing time, again I said sorry to be there so late. Mindy assured us it was fine and no hurry. Dale another sales person was also their and done for the day, but said he would stay until we we're done.... He said , he would walk the girls to there car's, quite the gentleman ! All in all, a good experience and very comfortable with the deal we got.

Do not buy anything from here that you have not actually seen in person. Horrible return policy. Also very disappointed in the table we bought. Water is staining it. A dining room table that water stained and manufacture won’t warranty it.

By far the worst furniture experience I've ever had. The one sectional that my wife and I liked was sold. We were told that they had the exact same one at their Peoria store. It was close to their closing so they had to double check They called me at work the next day I came in after work To pay for it they kept me waiting for over a 1/2 hour Paid for it set up delivery for the soonest available which was 2 weeks. The sectional but they delivered didn't look like the same one we saw in the store very cheap it had holes in it and scuffs And it was a different shade of Brown. Ended up refusing in the delivery salesman called me back and said he would figure out A way to fix it and he would get back with me in the next couple days. No return call after 8 days I went in to get a refund. Manager stated he would we give me a refund just wasn't sure how much of my money I was going to get back. After wasting about 45 minutes of my time he said he was going to go above and beyond and only charge me a $180 for delivery for them to send me something that looked like it should have been in a garage sale wow. Insane , pisse poor management to say the least. Tried to act like not charging me a 30% restocking fee was doing me a favor . Horrible service And Our commission hungry salesman named Dale Won't be Seeing any referrals either
