If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased $2,800 worth of furniture from Stevie Hines last night at 4:20pm with a 24 hour HOLD. I wasn't sure about the purchase and wanted to think about it because of the 2 year warranty as opposed to a 5 year warranty that was cheaper from another store. Stevie talked me into giving him a check with a 24 hour HOLD. After talking about it, I decided against the purchase, 3 years less on the warranty and $500.00 more. I canceled today at 12:00pm well before 4:22pm and they deposited my check and refused to give me my money back, it will be 2 weeks! This was never stated, again, I was told a 24 hour HOLD! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE OR STEVIE HINES! You will regret it.
I purchased a rocker recliner from Ashley Home furniture on May 8, 2021. I depend on this chair because due to health issue I must sleep in it.After two weeks the lower part of the arms did not have padding so the wood started poking into both of my legs. The back of the chair started to separate from the seat creating a large gap that everything and anything could fall into. The Ashley Store in East Peoria IL where I bought the chair advised me because it had been 2 weeks there was nothing they could do but if I wanted to take pictures and send them someone could decide if it could be repaired or not. All I wanted to do was exchange the chair for different chair.I would even pay more for a better chair if necessary. They advised me that this was not possible.User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY From Ashley Furniture Ever
Furniture delivery person was very rude. Accusing my elderly father of not measuring the room correctly. Stated he would leave the coach sitting on the front walkway. Demanded my father sign a form in case furniture was damaged. Rushed the coach through the door so fast I thought it would rip, luckily it didn't. Repeatedly stated we had a smaller coach than the new purchase. Apparently he thought he knew more about our furniture then we did. Do not recommend using the store delivery for furniture. Very disrespectful!Poor customer service!!!!!
Do NOT bother buying from this place. I ordered an entertainment unit, a coffee table, and two side tables. When the pieces were delivered, some of the parts were missing (even though the pieces were assembled ahead of time?). I contacted the store and they told me they would send replacements. When I received the parts (the little plastic pieces that protect the glass from scratching against the metal), I only received a small portion of the amount I needed. I had to call back multiple times to get someone to answer. I haven't received the new parts so I may update review if they screw it up ANOTHER time. Overall a very frustrating experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone buy from Ashley. Not worth the hassle.
We purchased a table and six chairs from Ashleys in East PeorIa. When it was delivered it came with a wobbly table and a poor staining job on the table and all 6 chairs. We reported it to your customer service. It took many phone calls to get someone out to look at it. Once Tyler looked at it he said he was going to recommend Ashley replace the entire table and chairs. He said we should get a call in a couple of days from customer service. After waiting 6 days I called to see what was being done. I was told 3 chair backs were ordered and nothing was in the report about the other 3 chairs or the wobbly table. Now we are told a man will be coming out to put the 3 new backs on and they will have him check the wobbly table. My next call is to the consumer fraud division of the state Attorney General.
