Looking and making a choice wasn’t hard and chasity was great but then finding out that the material wouldn’t hold up to my dogs I tried to cancel .. they didn’t want me taking the charge off my card so they wouldn’t loose me as a customer. No means no and I got it reversed.. took only two days to show up on my card it’s been a week and it’s still not off my card!! I even told them it’s got to come off by a certain date if I get and interest charge me and the news channel will be there!!! Run people don’t walk out that store!!! BE AWARE OF THEIR SHADY WAY OF BUSINESS!!!!

My Wife and I have been shopping for some new living room furniture. We have visited at least 5 or 6 stores. On a whim, we popped into Ashley furniture (Edwardsville, IL) to make sure we have checked all of our options. The store was full of great furniture; and with the help of Deane Ballance-Stanley (Sales Professional) we made a decision on four pieces and even a couple of accessories. We spent a couple of hours shuffling around pillows and chairs to make sure what we chose went together in both color and style. Thanks again Deane for your professionalism and expertise! We are extremely happy with our purchase!

Damien was great to work with. My husband and I purchased a couch, TV stand, and recliner. We are waiting on the delivery, but had a good experience in the store. Damien did not pressure me into buying anything and was helpful when I had a question. He kind of stood back and allowed me to shop around and make up my mind.
Teresa and her Boss provided exceptional customer service. As I age, I find it harder to move things around. When Teresa informed me that the table was on wheels, that sealed the sale. I didn’t feel rushed and I felt free to browse at my leisure. I was also sold on a couch and chair that I have not yet purchased. I Purchased a counter height kitchen table with chairs. Anyone who has experienced arthritis knows that the knees to do work like they used to. I plan on returning soon!!

We had spent all day shopping for the perfect recliner. We actually choose to come here last as word of mouth around town was very negative about this store. But my wife and I were open to give them a shot. Walking in we were not greeted by anyone so we just started walking around, eventually a older lady came and greeted us and led us to the recliners while constantly bringing up "financing" and "we even take bad credit" which is fair I dont dress fancy, and I dont flaunt my money but lady I told you I was paying cash..... We were shown recliners that were over priced, and very uncomfortable. I mentioned how in there websites the recliners advertised and prices listed were not matching up. And i even requested to see some of the chairs on the website (most I am told they no longer carry) the one chair we thought was ok but wanted a different color, the lady walked off and said she would see if its available (she never came back.) And we stood around the chair awkwardly for around 15 to 20 minutes, one younger lady walked by really quick and asked us if we needed help I stated "I am just wondering where these other chairs from the website were at so I could try them" I was never given a look, a word, or even a screw you as she kept walking to the front of the store. At that point I guess they realised I wasnt willing to finance a entire house worth of furniture and wanted to ignore us. So we just left not even getting a goodbye from the 10 staff members sitting around the front of the store hanging out. The reputation of the store deffinently held true.... UPDATE: I contacted the number they said to text and this is what I got in response, once again wasting my time, and upholding there reputation....

Giving two stars because Damien and Valentine are a pleasure to work with, but I am so disappointed in Ashley furniture. When I came to them, I told them I was having an issue with another furniture store that told me a delivery date and then pushed it back without telling me. I was promised that my couches would come the next week. I called three days before the supposed delivery date and was told it would be another week. Nobody told me and had I not called, I would’ve been sitting here waiting on delivery on the date I was promised. I went to get another furniture store, settled for something I don’t care for, but at least it’s SUPPOSED to come on the date I was supposed to get the furniture from Ashley. Hopefully third times a charm, regarding the other store. I won’t do business with Ashley again tho since their delivery dates can’t be promised and I heard they have to have a full truck to deliver.

The delivery was very informative about their arrival time and was actually a little early. Both delivery men were extremely nice. They were more than understanding when we realized one of the dining room chairs had 3 small chips and the buffet had a flaw on the side, and had to return for replacement. Hopefully, the replacements will be delivered soon.
My husband and I have been looking or a bedroom set for about 5 years and usually furniture shopping is the last thing I want to do. When we walked in we were welcomed by a woman named Teresa who took the time to explain where things were and let us roam around. After making a decision she was more than happy to help us make our purchase and I couldn’t be happier. Not only did we feel welcomed but we didn’t feel pushed or pressured and Ms Teresa made it easy. I would go back without a doubt!

We had gone in a few days earlier and the lady that approached us told her where the products were we were interested in, but did not give is her name and we couldn't find her when we wanted more information. We are glad we went back as our second experience was much better.

My fiancé and I visited this store on a Sunday and left extremely disappointed. We walked around for about 10mins waiting for an associate to greet us or at least ask if we needed help. Shortly after 20mins of being in there , still nothing. I did see a handful of associates working , some with people. I felt ignored and most of all embarrassed because one associate seem to follow us but never asked if we needed anything. I’ve bought furniture from here before and this is the first time I had a bad experience. I don’t know if it’s new management or what but you all should train your associates better. I left the store feeling very much so racially profiled against because every associate was helping someone that was NOT my color. I will not be back in that store ever again. I was just there to get some ideas for my new home and was left with the worst customer service experience ever. I hope you all do better.

The delivery team was prompt according to the app and polite upon arrival. I wasn’t there for the entire process but my husband sent me pictures and they set the furniture up according to my previous directions.

We made a small purchase at this store a few weeks ago. Advertising emails from Ashley started coming in right afterward and there has been no stopping them. Unsubscribe requests have been ignored. This is unwanted and illegal. I won’t shop there again. Update: Store responded with suggestion that I reach out for assistance. I have tried to unsubscribe multiple times using links in their emails. By law, this should be sufficient. Emails do not originate from the local store and no contact info for reaching out to the appropriate party is provided in their response. I am angry and will not play games.

Ordered a couch from the edwardsville il, was supposed to be delivered on a certain day. It was randomly cancelled, called a manager to see what it was cancelled, this manager submitted a ticket and never herd back..then Was rescheduled for Tuesday the 2nd of July, no communication on when it was coming till the morning of when the mass text comes out of the time frame. We found someone who was 18 years or older to be at our house because it was last minute, I will post photos, the furniture came, and it doesn’t fit in our house, and the also broke our door frame and didn’t tell us, I called about returning the couch because it doesn’t fit, I called the edwardsville location, he gave us an 800 number, he said since we just got it we can return it, called the 800 number they said the couch is in your house we can’t take it back, not one time did they disclose this information to us, the only information they said was when the couch won’t replace. Anthony was our sales person in edwardsville, he definitely kept telling us if your couch get chewed on just have your neighbor come shoot it with a shotgun because they will replace that. When I found out about the broken door frame, we called and the manager wanted pictures asap, he said he submitted a ticket, and someone should be calling about the situation, the people called and said we won’t hear back about the damage till next week and we asked about the couch, and they said they don’t deal it, so they can damage my door frame in minutes and takes a week to even hear back of what they will do and still won’t answer about this couch. I’m attaching pictures to show proof

Anthony and Jeff were amazing. I hate pushy sales people and neither of them were. Everyone was so nice and just wanted to make sure we were taken care of. They took their time and just made conversation, I never felt rushed or pushed.
I always like going to our local store. I had found what I wanted so it was an easy purchase. Delivery was so fast and professional. It took Forrest longer to backup the truck than for him and his partner to unload and place my new couch. They did a great job.

Worst customer service ever. These stores have some sort of a franchise system, that you cannot work with the store when you have an issue. You have to call the corporate. The store literally does nothing for you. So, good luck with that. Their furniture starts squeaking after 6 months of light use. Waste of money.
Decent selection, but if you have an issue with it malfunctioning they leave you to figure it out yourself with their sad excuse for a warranty company. What we were told was “a common issue” with our electric recliner (that is only a year old) has now taken over 2 months to fix, with still no scheduled repair date.
I love the smell of new furniture when I walk into Ashley! The displays and setups are gorgeous! I want everything I see! LOL The furniture is nice quality! And the prices are affordable- or use a payment plan. And you can’t beat their service. I’m a repeat customer for all these reasons. Service is consistent so I keep coming back. 💕

Electric couches made of cheap parts, broken within 14 months. Their protection plan takes 6 months+ to have any repairs taken care of. Would recommend shopping somewhere else

Ashley left a sectional damaged after delivery. I wasn’t able to be there due to chemo treatment. I called within their 72 hour period and sent pictures of the damage when visiting store because I couldn’t get help just calling. I have a brand new $3k sectional damaged and they will not return this one and give me an undamaged product. They only offered to send a patch of fabric to mend the one are and are not willing to do anything for the cup holders that look 10 years old. This is pretty shady tactics not to mention terrible customer service. I regret walking into their store, what they promise is not what they deliver.

The driver almost hit my car when i walked out to say someth the guy just said oh ok...and then ignored me and didn't bring in my couch he said he didn't think he could get it in my livingroom so I said well you can the last delivery guys got a double recliner couch in and you can't get a standard couch in and he said nope..so I told him to place it in my garage and me and my 16 year old took it in I paid 296.00 to have delivery just for the men to be rude and me and my son to do everything..and then all the store said was I am sorry. Like give me half my delivery money back. And the lady that I delt with said oh call me if you have any problems well I called and nothing.

***Update on Original Post*** 1 month after original delivery date, Ashley Furniture & team have corrected all aspects of our order. The process was quite an ordeal, but, everything is now as it should be. Overall, the in-person customer service personnel I dealt with supplied the best results. Trying to work thing via phone & online was not effective or efficient. Also overall, my wife & I are satisfied customers & we both feel as though the furniture we purchased was at a very fair price - thanks to Lizze & Brandon!!!). My thoughts on the Tempupedic mattresses are still open - time will tell for the $$ (but that's on me, not Ashley furniture). Lol Tha KS for correcting everything Brandon! & thank you Lizzie for assisting us choosing a bedroom outfit that we are very satisfied with to improve the overall quality of our home!! ---------------Original Post---------------- Made (what i would refer to) as a significantly large purchase order (total bedroom). Upon delivery, one large item (footboard with drawers) was damaged needing replacement. Another separate large item (5 drawer chest) was incorrectly ordered/delivered. Trying to chase down agents, service reps, managers, technicians, etc... to correct the issues has been a tital headache - very cumbersome, time consuming, inconvenient, and very unprofessional. For having spent the money I spent, I would expect mich better customer service to get this resolved. I will update this post/rating if something significantly changes, but I waited 10 days before responding to this survey & I haven't had any significant progress made thus far-
We were very disappointed! We only received half of our couch. We won’t be purchasing anything else from Ashley.

Bought a couch 3 years ago, the boards started to protrude from the back of the couch, on further inspection of the couch, it was noted that the frame was all particle board and the top board had broken in half and there was no way to fix it. Buyers beware, furniture if junk and made in China and shipped here, I went to Kloss for new couch, they have furniture made in the USA!
My Husband was very upset and disappointed on the policy that Ashley’s has when using your unused warranty on some previous furniture purchased. We had a $322 reimbursement coming from a warranty to use toward a new piece of furniture. So, we found a Chair online for $459.95 that we wanted to order. We went to the Edwardsville IL store and they told us we had to spend $500 to honor the warranty. So I said ok we will buy an accessories to go with the chair. Next we were told either I had to purchase another piece of furniture or bump the price up to $500. This is forcing me to pay more money out of my pocket to use my warranty reimbursement. Then I asked just deliver it to my house for free and that will offset the additional cost I had to pay. The answer was no we can’t do that. So, here is my reply!! I went ahead and purchase the chair. I’ve spent thousands of dollars in your stores. I’m getting ready to build me a new home and furnish it with all new furniture. You will not get any of my business due to your policies. It really isn’t about the money because I have plenty of that, it’s more about how you treat your customers.

Buyer Beware of Ashley Furniture and Mattress Warranty. I purchased a new Queen Sealey with 10-year Warranty earlier this year. After a few months, I noticed a slight sloping on the side where I slept. I called the Ashley store/they sent a Tech to check condition. He recommended a replacement, but Sealey will not replace until it slopes a depression of 1 1/2 inches. I am only at 3/4 inch, but hey, it hasn't been a year yet!! OMG I have had mattresses for 10 years and there was no sloping depression. Now I have to call the Technician in every month to remeasure the mattress until it reaches 1 1/2 inches of a depression. Not happy with Ashley or Sealey!!!! Will not purchase any more furniture or bedding from this store. Karen Currier

So I called the store and talk to Blake and ask if I could change my order. He took care of everything and got me the different size ordered and canceled the order one. I rarely write reviews, but have had ongoing issues with Ashley furniture, specifically the Edwardsville location, for well over a year. It started with our original delivery arriving damaged. It took 4 deliveries before we finally received one that wasn’t damaged. We paid for the white glove delivery service which they charge extra for and tout as being their premier no-worry service. We also purchased the 5 year extended warranty. After having our furniture for a year, a cushion was punctured by a pocket knife. Punctures are well within the terms and conditions of the policy. Our sofa is tweed, so the threads around the hole began to fray. The claim was denied because of the frayed thread. I realize the warranty company is separate from Ashley, but reached out to the Edwardsville store for assistance. They called the company on my behalf and received the same denial. The store told me they couldn’t do anything and gave me the Ashley customer service line. From the moment the phone was answered, the customer service rep spoke down to me and acted as though she couldn’t understand why I was calling. I explained that I know the two companies are separate but Ashley’s lack of assistance from day one with the broken delivery has been frustrating. The policy they sold us did not meet the expectations sold in their store. Her reply was “ok, but what are you wanting us to do? We can’t do anything.” This is a long way of saying, save your money and time and avoid Ashley furniture, especially Ashley furniture in Edwardsville. Between paying extra for useless upgraded delivery and extended warranty, I wasted well over $500. Run, don’t walk, away from this store. I’ve discouraged everyone I know from going here. Their terrible customer service is nothing short of fraudulent.

In 2022 I had to buy an entire house full of furniture due to divorce. Those at Ashley's furniture work tirelessly with me to get everything I need to start my life over. I will never forget the patience and dedication I found at Ashley's. I will always start my furniture needs there first. The quality of products is second to none. Izzie is absolutely amazing and super personable! I would highly recommend anyone who comes in to Ashley ask for her. Prices are higher than some other places but the quality seems to be there in terms of product and service. Only complaint was management seemed a little inattentive and the no credit payment plan option is confusing and even the assistant manager there didn't know much about it which was definitely irritating. Otherwise every trip I've made to this location has been well worth it.

The buying process was nice and easy. Now the awful part has been getting somebody to help me exchange my defective mattress. First phone call I made I was hung up on right after explaining the problem with the mattress, second phone call they at least tried to help but I was told to call back after 30 minutes on the phone because it hadn’t been 72 hours….as of typing this it had been 72 hours a day ago and there are no signs of getting any help. My recommendation is don’t buy a mattress from Ashley. ****Update*** 2 days later and nothing has been resolved. Everytime I call I get the same answer that I need to wait longer to put in a request. I can’t return this defective mattress and can only exchange it most likely to have the same issues. That’s IF I can ever finally put in a request to do so. Any other avenue to contact some sort of support to get this resolved would be nice but Ashley seems to not care about you after you buy from them. Possible buyers take your business elsewhere. Will not be buying anything from here ever again.

Bought living room furniture at the Edwardsville store and our salesperson Anthony was very helpful and didn't hover (which was awesome!). The problem and lack of good review came at the delivery--and after. The delivery guys came without a wrench but the furniture looked good so I was happy. My husband got home about 10-15 minutes after they left and it turns out they emptied their ENTIRE truck into a dumpster we have nearly full in our driveway (we are getting a bathroom redone). Not just our stuff--the ENTIRE truck--which filled the dumpster over the top. It took my husband 8 phone calls and 2+ hours to finally get done with the runaround of the store giving us either out of service phone numbers or the number of a random delivery company in STL. He finally got to the regional office only to find out that we had their 'white glove' delivery and they were to take all trash/wrappings back with them in the truck. Ashley, you owe us $600 for another dumpster. Avoid this at all cost!
Seriously, quit stalking people the moment they walk in the door. Following behind us even after we said we were just looking. Then the other associate walking parallel to us like we were going to steal a table. We’ve purchased a bed frame, an adjustable base, a couch and mattresses from Ashley. Never again. We’ll drive to Carol House.
Everything was good, but the part I didn't like was when the person at the shop told me that if I buy something, I can't return it because others had bought and returned things before. I think it would be better if they just put a note in the store to tell customers about this, instead of saying it directly. It feels a bit disappointing when they say it like that.
The process from buying to now being able to enjoy our sectional was SO quick and simple, everything went very smooth. With the help of an amazing woman, I cannot for the life of me remember her name but she’s amazing….we found a sectional that was perfect for us! Delivery was so quick and everything was working and in perfect condition! Definitely will go back for any more of our furniture needs!! :)

Ashley furniture may be ok if you pay for delivery and can refuse damaged furniture. But beware if you need to pick up your furniture from the Warehouse they will not replace damaged furniture and make you wait a month or 2 for repairs. The worst customer service I've ever had from a furniture store. Picked up Headboard, Rails, and footboard from Ware house in South County. 45 minutes later I'm home and found the Headboard box appeared to be retaped and guess what.......the headboard had minor damage. Called immediately and was told nope to replacement but was told if I would have purchased the premium delivery they would have replaced it. Seems strange, I had to pay full amount for bed but don't get the same treatment as someone who had delivered. While I understand this practice 2-3 days later, but not 45 minutes after picking up. Also feel the furniture I picked up may have been a prior return, at least the Headboard which the packaging appears to retaped. Store Manager was no help at all, basically said oh well. I have filed with the BBB and Attorney General to look into this practice. Feels like discrimination against folks who prefer to pick up rather than have delivered. Service backed up months should tell everyone something about Ashley Furniture.

We got a very good deal with a little more added to the already clearance price. The sales person made sure that everything was working perfectly before we ever left the store. They went above and beyond to make it a sweet deal.
Since the store had such a varied selection of furniture and mattresses, along with knowledgable staff, we were easily able to find exactly what we wanted. Staff was also accommodating with the one issue we almost had but didn’t as management quickly found a solution. I will go back to Ashley and would recommend this store.

Ashley would not honor the broken dining table SOLD day after I called. I was told that buy repair part from local hardware store or from Amazon. I bought leather couch with set and dining table set and one side table from them. One dining table leg was broken, found out when I brought into house so I called same day. These were floor model and clearance sale items.I've called customer care service to complain but same and no HELP. Ashley may not survive for business practice they have, not for long.

The sales person we worked with Chasity was wonderful with helping us accommodate our needs. The delivery guys were awesome and fast, the only thing that went wrong is one of our items were placed on hold and nobody notified us to tell us we wouldn’t be receiving it the same day as everything else, when calling corporate, everyone acted like they couldn’t find the missing item until one lady told us when items are placed on hold they have no control over it and will not know when they will be available for shipping.

Stay away. This place does not deserve your business. I purchase two identical loveseats in store here in Edwardsville. Went over to pick them up from the warehouse. Both had the correct Item numbers on them but were covered in cardboard and plastic so I could not actually see the couches. Turns out they were two different colored loveseats. I called the store in Edwardsville to initiate an exchange. They took my name and number and said someone would reach out to me in the next couple days. Ten days later I called back to check on the status of my request and was told that they will not exchange the one loveseat that was incorrectly marked. Clearly, this was a mistake on their end. Now I'm stuck with two different couches (with the same item number) in my living room. Absolutely awful service. I hope they go out of business.
We are very disappointed with our recent experience at Ashley and will not return again. Note that it's required that you check at least one star... we'd give Ashley zero stars for customer service and selling cheaply made items. We purchased an over sized electric reclining chair at Ashley a few years ago and returned to look at electric reclining couches. Not finding what we were looking for my wife looked at other items and purchased a large wall clock. We weren't able to place it on the wall that evening, but the following evening started to do so. When we were holding it up to determine where to hang it I noticed that the minute hand was flopping around, like it was not even connected to the shaft. I did not want to try to fix this and asked my wife to return it. She called Ashley a couple days later and the response from the manage that took her call is that you bought it, it's yours. We look at this as pretty poor customer service. This is a rather large wall clock that was pretty expensive. I would certainly expect for it to work. When my wife explained to the manager that it wasn't even powered up for her to see it function his response was that if she had asked they would have looked for batteries to try it then. I have since noticed other issues with this clock. It has Roman numerals on the face. The marking for the number 4 is IIII, not IV as it should be. The hands for the clock ate also sheet metal and are bent out of shape. Had we examined this better in the store it would not have come home with us. But my wife was thrilled to see that it matched our décor and wanted it. It seems that we are now stuck with a piece of junk, which causes us to understand why Ashley has a you bought it, you keep it policy. The items that they are selling are junk. They don't want them back. Please be warned and shop elsewhere. Update 9/7/2023. Yesterday I discovered the response from the owner and sent the information that was requested. I'm now watching for the immediate resolution of this matter from their team.

Blatant discrimination today. Girlfriend went in to purchase a sectional for our new house & the lady in back straight up asked her if she can even afford it.
Stopped in the store on Saturday to buy a new sectional. The salesperson that was helping me to begin with was very helpful but he had to ask the store manager a question about the color options available which was fine. My experience went down hill after that because she took over and right from the start wasn't listening. She didn't even ask the person we were working with what he had shown us she took us back around to look at sectionals we had already seen and ruled out. Then when I tried to tell her what I was looking for she wasn't listening she was just pushing the sale trying to get me to find out my buying power. Then the pressure of getting it before the labor day rush she could give me those sales deals. I tried to ask her questions but when I would look over she was always texting not even paying attention. I asked one more question and she came back againg with running my buying power. I said it would be cash and I left. She didn't have time for me so I'll buy from somewhere else.

We were told by the salesperson that old furniture would be hauled away. When the delivery drivers showed up, they made multiple attempts to back into the driveway when the truck clearly would not fit and snapped a 40+ year old tree, then proceeded to act like nothing happened. They refused to haul away the old furniture. When I called to complain to the store, the automated phone service doesn't have a support option. Tried multiple options before using 'place new order' to get to a real human. They told me I was misinformed about the haul-away, offered the number I had just dialed for support, and sounded disorganized when I explained that's the number I called to speak to them. After a long delay, I got a different number that had the same automated menu, but more options. When I selected 'report property damage' I was forwarded to a third party help desk service where the person that answered the phone was clearly a non-native English speaker. Very thick accent, very slow speech as if he might be intoxicated, and long pauses of dead air where I'm not sure he was actively doing anything to advance the case. He understood my complaint, took 10 minutes to get my email correct before sending a request for photo proof, and then I was placed on indefinite hold after he confirmed he received the images. No resolution to this case. Definitely will not be buying here again.

The people at Ashley are great to work with. I think the computer system they are using is somewhat messed up. I made a 400$ payment that was charged to my bank but didn’t go towards my “principle” yet. It was confusing and aggravating. I am now waiting to see what will come of it. The employees were referring to it as a glitch in the system. Other than that everything was good. I’m still waiting to see what will happen with my 400$ though .

I had already done my shopping online, I just went into the store to order 2 recliners. The sales people were wonderful and very helpful, I would give them 5 star's. The stores computer/wifi system however made everyone's job more difficult. My order was initially lost, my sales associate was kicked off the system several times, and she had to use someone else's tablet to finally get my order placed. They apologized to me several times for all the inconvenience, and thanked me for my patience. I feel like they should have a more user-friendly system.
The sales person who helped us was very pushy when I specifically said I didn’t want the protection plan or delivery option. It also seemed like I was being talked down to because I am a bit younger. The service I received was unprofessional especially coming from the store manager. When she spoke about the sectional she didn’t even look at me when talking, she looked straight at my mother every time who was only there for moral support. I will not be coming back.

I like the chest I picked out and the sales person was helpful. HOWEVER, the computer services weren't working so I couldn't pay for the piece of furniture, nor could I learn more about approximately when it would be delivered. The poor sales person couldn't even email me because that function wasn't working for Ashley. I haven't heard a word back from Ashley confirming my purchase and delivery date. VERY disappointed at this point.
Bought furniture 9 days ago ! Our recliner was not delivered ! Been trying to reach the store for 9 days ! Saying phone lines down ! No one has reached out ! Sent text messages ! Left messages ! beware buying from here. look at all reviews seems like a common issue. ordered a sectional through you guys, sales guy (trey) was great. they told us delivery will be Tuesday, so we got rid of our old furniture Monday. as soon as the furniture was gone I get a text and an email, stating that they had a major system issue and now don't know when the furniture will be delivered. I texted the customer care number, got no response. all the phone lines give the same "system error" message. when I hit the live rep option it says they're closed and hangs up. literally insane to spend that much on furniture and get no answers. so i gotta spend more money to rent furniture til this gets here? Will be driving to the store Monday to get this fixed. also watch that fine print delivery can be from 2-16 weeks. didn't catch the til we started re looking the papers over at home.

My wife and I went to Ashley to buy a new sectional, coffee table and dining set yesterday and the sales person was nice, but made several mistakes with our order while we were there. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for the main wedge piece for the couch because she forgot to add it into financing. But, that is just one issue we ran into and was willing and to overlook that situation, however; while we were there the sales person told us she would price match a coffee table to the online price. When we got home, we realized she charged us full price which was a difference in $250. She told me if I had any issues to text or call her and gave us her card, but when I texted her about the situation, she said she couldn’t price match since we went with the 4 year financing option. This was never told to us. She then told me she could “try to reverse financing so, I could order online and get that price. No offer for a credit or anything. Needless to say we will never buy anything from Ashley again. Don’t waste your time.

Never spend your money on this brand. I spend over $10,000 on their furnitures and its not worth it. They delivered my furniture over 10 times almost cross a year just because they broke my furniture every single time they delivered and when I tired to install my bed I found out there was missing parts and they sent the wrong part and then refuse to send the right part just because I moved to a new address. told me to purchase the part that was missing from the factory! Wasting my time and my energy for this very bad customer service and the cheap qualities furnitures!
Worst experience I've ever had buying furniture!!! Sales person was good, which is why they got 1 star. The rest of this experience has been nothing short of a nightmare! Changed delivery days on me without telling me, so I had to take an extra day of vacation to be home for the delivery. They left black fingerprints all over our new bedroom furniture, they did not check to make sure every item was correct, they sold me on the white glove delivery which was not a minimal fee. One of the pieces was broken so I now have to take another day off work for the delivery of the replacement piece. Finally the worst is that one of their delivery drivers stole my wife's purse from our home. This was devastating for my wife, she had her debit card, social security card, a wallet and some other items that women carry in their purse. We reported the theft to the police and contacted Ashley, the police took it very serious and said they would contact the company to help in their investigation.Ashley customer service acted as though it was no big deal, I talked with about 5-6 people before I actually talked to someone that felt it was urgent. That person said they would investigate and get back to me the next day, I have heard nothing since. No follow up, asking how we are doing, nothing. It may not seem like a big deal to some but this was very traumatic for my wife, someone took a personal item from our home, the place you believe you're safe. Yet Ashley has yet to reach out since I called them and reported this incident, we followed all the right protocols by canceling her cards and filling out the form for a stolen social security card. Do not and I repeat DO NOT make a purchase from this company unless you want to be treated like crap and want to feel unsafe in your own home while their employees are in your house. Terrible, awful, horrible experience, worst EVER!!!!

Avoid this store at all costs. They will promise you everything, and everything they told me was a lie. Cliff was really nice but highly incompetent. He guaranteed the date but then we got a call 2 weeks later to schedule and some of the items were no longer in stock. Then when I tried to cancel, i kept getting phone calls on they magically reappeared. When I did not get a refund, I called and they never cancelled the order. When I did get my refund, the kept some for items they said I took with at the store which was wrong. These people are crooks and I am still fighting with them over this. Everything they told me was a lie. Do not shop here and be careful because customer service is not much better.
Horrible horrible store with attendants that are mostly unwilling to help. They have a new staff there every 3 business days so no one handles your issues as they keep claiming ignorance. I am due a refund from the store for an order they messed up & it’s been over 3 months and I’m yet to get a refund. This is after going into the store severally in person & also calling them by phone. They will claim to open a ticket but never actually resolve the issue. Avoid coming to this store by all means and save yourself the headache

We wasted 2 hrs and never found a couch we were in love with. There was something wrong with everything. Too soft, wrong color, only comes in a sectional, something was wrong except the price. We went to Kettle River,got sticker shock BUT we were able to customize what we wanted and suddenly the annoyance of wasting 2 hrs wandering around Ashley vanished. 20 mins in Kettle River and we were sold.

I ordered a sectional sofa from Ashley Furniture and when it arrived it was the wrong color. They delivered white and I ordered Gray...the delivery team left the sofa and I've been trying for over a week to get some resolution from Ashley. On multiple occasions I've been on hold for over 30 minutes only to hear that someone will call you back within 48 hours and no one calls. I'm at a loss on what to do...and this has been a beyond frustrating experience. I do not recommend ordering from this company.

It was a different experience as when we walk in usually we are greeted and helped. However, we walked around for about 15 mins before we finally walked up and found someone to help us. We found the nicest gentleman who helped us and ended our experience with us walking out with what we wanted when we walked in the door!
Avoid this store like the plague! After a total of 6 delivery date changes within 24 hours I finally had enough. Now I have to wait 6-8 weeks for a refund.

The sales associate was very friendly and we were so excited about our new couch. Upon delivery we had several issues with quality of the piece we bought. I called to inform them not even 20 minutes after the item was delivered to make them aware of the flaws on our couch. It’s so hard to get in contact with someone and their policy for this kind of stuff doesn’t make me as the customer feel much better about the issues. For as much as we spent I’m pretty dissatisfied and will most likely never use Ashley again.

Dakota was great to work with during our sales process. The real horror began during the delivery process. If you don’t answer the phone they will cancel the delivery date and reschedule without speaking with the customer. My wife is a teacher and can not just answer the phone during the working day. Even when she told me to call Ashley since they called her, they said they had to reschedule since we didn’t answer the first time. I went into the store to speak with the manager after 3 of these circumstances happened. I told the manager exactly what I just said and his response was “ she can be a teacher, shoot she can be an astronaut for all I care but she still needs to answer the phone.” This is the last time we go to Ashley.
The guys delivering did a great job. We got two different things and both are missing something so we can’t use anything you delivered today. We are extremely disappointed and can’t believe that it will take 7 to 10 business days. They didn’t seem to care how long it would take and how inconvenient it was with who we talked to on the phone.

I would give 0 stars if it were an option. I bought a couch in November 2022 and it was delivered ripped. It has been a nightmare ever since. Absolutely no communication between the store and their customer service department and you get a different answer from different people. It’s been almost 2 months and our couch is still ripped after being promised back in November by a supervisor that it would be replaced. Seriously, DO NOT give them your business.

Horrible furniture!!! My daughter bought furniture from Ashley in Edwardsville IL. Within 1 yr the dresser she bought drawers bottom fail out. I have furniture in my house for over 10yrs from another store and I never had any issues. I called Ashley furniture corporate office and since this location is privately owned they can't assist. My daughter didn't buy the extended 5 yr warranty so apparently the store can't help. I never bought anything fun Ashley and will not in the future!

We walked the store and found what we wanted and then had to ask for a sales person. From there it took over an hour to complete the process

My husband and I were at the Edwardsville location with our children (10y/o and 2y/o) on Friday. We were hopeful to make a purchase as we are in the market for several pieces of furniture. We were never greeted. We were seen by multiple employees and never acknowledged or even spoken too. We were even passed up by a salesman so he could help another couple, who arrived after us for stereotypical reasons or this is how it appeared. We waited 30 mins walking around the store. We even stayed after we were passed up. Because surely someone wanted our business? We have purchased from Ashley before and thought we would receive great service. However it seems we don’t meet the criteria for your advertisement.

I bought furniture from Ashley Store in Edwardsville, IL to furnish my living room and dining room in 2019. I purchased the warranty on the furniture as well. One of my pieces has material that is separating. Not from wear. It’s on a chair that is seldom used. It’s a material defect. I told them I noticed it in July, but this was my first opportunity to call and file a claim (December). They denied my warranty claim because I didn’t report it within 30 days of noticing it. So. It doesn’t matter that the furniture has a defect. They wouldn’t even look at photos. What is the purpose of the warranty if you can’t use it? I will not buy from Ashley ever again. And if you’re considering shopping here, don’t waste your money on the warranty. It’s just a scam to steal your money.

Our salesman was nice and knowledgeable. Other staff were also kind. However, the couch was delivered with a tear. Our delivery man reported the repair to Ashley Furniture while he was still at my house. The report was somehow nowhere to be found. Nobody from the company has called when when they said they would. It’s been 3 weeks tomorrow, and I still have a torn couch, despite reaching out 3 times. Dealing with the customer service has been an absolute nightmare.

I went into the Edwardsville, IL Ashley Furniture Store to search for and buy a specific item for my mother (dining room table), and was met by Katelynn aka Kat who assisted me. The Assistant Store Manager Kyle intervened to make sure that my furniture needs were heard and that I was happy with my selection and to answer any questions. I only met the "soon to be" Store Manager who was very professional and pleasant as well as the other employees. It took less than one hour to complete the selection, discussion, purchase, and set up delivery. I have always bought my furniture from Ashley's and will continue to do so. When I purchase my new home soon, I will return to the Edwardsville location and will be looking for Kat to help me with my questions about the furniture choices. The sales person should have put a battery in the clock to make sure it worked properly before letting us take it home. I mentioned that but she didn’t do it- no explanation for not doing that. It was 6:30pm and I’m sure it was too much trouble for her. No other customers were in the store, so she wasn’t too busy. I called the store 3 times when I got home after discovering the clock didn’t work but no answer. Finally someone answered on the ‘delivery’ option, and now I will wait 2 weeks for a new clock to be delivered- but I have to be home to accept the delivery- so will have to take off work for it.

Was looking for mattress and bed frame. Bought a mattress and a adjustable base. Bed frame will have to wait. Their Mattress Expert was a very personable and knowledgeable about mattresses and bases compared to what I know. Only issue was mattress cover was charged as a king size when we had purchased a queen size. So we had to wait while management adjusted the price difference. However my charge card is still being charged the original total not the reduced total, so now I have to go through the hassle of getting that corrected. We'll see how fast that gets corrected on my credit card.

In August 2022 I purchased a bedroom set, a breakfast bar and a couch and a chair and a half for my living room of my new home. I purchased this from Ashley store in Edwardsville, Illiniois. I paid for delivery because I’m a single female. Apparently Ashley has another company that they pay to deliver their customers furniture to their homes. That company came out with my furniture and delivered it but put my breakfast bar together incorrectly. After they left I moved it over just about two inches and it fell apart!!!! I called Ashley the next morning and as of today Ashley furniture in Edwardsville, Illiniois has not fixed this problem!! I have called them over 5 times only to get the run around each time. They have horrible customer service!! I’m so surprised that they would treat a customer like this!! Don’t buy from them they won’t keep their word!!!

The experience shopping at Ashley Furniture was great from the beginning to the end! I walked in the store and took my time browsing to see if there was anything I was interested in. I found a few items and was asked if I needed help. (I wasn’t uncomfortably followed around by multiple sales people pressuring me to buy things. Other furniture store employees were pushy and hungry to make a commission. That tactic immediately makes me leave.) Cornelious Anderson was a wonderful sales rep! He not only answered all of my questions, but researched items online that they didn’t carry at the store. Unfortunately I ran short on time so I had to leave before making any decisions. Cornelious told me about the specials they were running and gave me his contact information if I had any questions. He responded to my texts for a couple of weeks and looked up more items I was interested in. I scheduled an appointment and went back to purchase furniture and a mattress from Cornelious because he did such a fantastic job!!! I also reside in Illinois and St. Louis, so I made a special trip just to only purchase furniture at the Edwardsville location because of the exceptional service. I ended up financing furniture which I have never done before and was a little nervous about it. Cornelious went over a few ways to purchase furniture and found me the best discount and payment plan for me with zero interest. Overall it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend shopping at the Edwardsville Ashley Furniture Location!!!

I ordered a furniture set at the end of May with all 3 pieces to be delivered on June 4th. 2 pieces were delivered. The delivery guys said they didn’t have the 3rd piece and left before I could even grab my paperwork. Since then my husband and I have received multiple texts and calls rescheduling delivery. Sometimes receiving multiple, conflicting calls or texts within hours of each other. We have been more than patient and confirmed delivery when prompted. I have confirmed two separate deliveries and made arrangements to be home from work only to have no one show up or even call. It’s rude and extremely unprofessional. We can’t get a straight answer out of anyone as to when our 3rd piece will be delivered. After reading all of the horrible customer reviews I am deeply regretting this purchase. Maybe the BBB or Attorney General can help me sort this out.

I ordered a queen set mattress, foundation, headboard, and frame on June 2nd. Expected delivery was June 22nd but then was delayed to June 27th since all the parts were not in. When furniture arrived, I expected that the furniture was in good shape and signed off. When I started to inspect more closely, the mattress was stained, foundation was torn, headboard was chipped, and the frame being covered by the foundation and mattress was not even put together. The middle piece was lying beneath it all not connected. So I had to get a redelivery. That happened yesterday and again the mattress, foundation, and headboard were ALL DAMAGED. I tried to get a refund but the manager at the store, Jane, said, "All sales are final." So because the furniture keeps coming damaged to my residence, the fault is on me as the customer, and nothing can be done besides getting a redelivery until they get it right. So I am now at the mercy of the delivery people of when will they deliver the furniture with no damages. I urge future customers to stay away form Ashley furniture in Edwardsville because once you sign their contract and make your purchase, they do not care about you as a customer. They will hide behind their contract and do nothing to help you if you receive damaged furniture or have missing pieces. Please be careful!

This is the worst place to buy your furniture. My delivery date kept being pushed up. I spent a lot of money with them and each time they came out there was pieces missing. So I would have to wait and have furniture sitting around until they set an appointment to put it together. Each date pushed out with no finished assembly. I would give Ashley’s no stars if I could. The sales associates acted clueless and promised to fix the problem but on the next assembly the pieces were still missing! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

But after I purchased my furniture I am getting told your furniture will be delivered on this date. I am still waiting with no furniture and I have no furniture in my home cause I had to dispose of what I already had. 4 times my delivery date has come and gone. I have confirmed the dates and when the date comes around and I call in to make sure it’s coming I get told I’m sorry the earliest I can get it there now is a week later!!! I will NEVER buy from Ashley again and I’m gonna tell everyone I know to avoid this company as well!!!!

When I saw the one that I liked they had to order it. The process of filling out the paperwork took longer than expected but overall I am pleased that I found a loveset that I like. The price was a little higher than what I expected. When I receive the loveset I will update this review to give my opinion on the quality.

I ordered a King Luxe Mattress on March4th and was shown by the sales associate Anthony that it was in stock and we would be contacted about delivery. I was called on March 14th and was told the mattress would not be on the delivery for March 16th as stated on the first delivery confirmation. I was told it would be available for delivery on March 22nd. We removed our old mattress based on Ashley's confirmation of the delivery. Today is May 11th and I still don't have the mattress that was said to be in stock. On April 19th I received a call from Lucero a customer care representative and was told my mattress that I have a voicemail recording of would be available next week. On the voicemail it said to call back if I needed anymore assistance. I called the number back 4 times and left voicemails with no response. Each time I call Ashley they blame the Edwardsville store and the salesman for not being honest and then I get customer care to call back and they tell me my mattress will be available next week and that has been going on for two months. A complaint to the BBB has netted nothing more than an apology and finger pointing with in the company. No accountability, empty promises, and flat out lies. Each phone call makes it worse. I hopefully this complaint will help meet the expectation they set when I purchased a $5K mattress.

My husband and I paid cash for a sectional almost a year ago. The sales associate told us the expected delivery was 6-8 weeks. That time came and went with no delivery or updates. I started calling weekly for an estimated delivery and every time the date would get pushed out, 26 weeks or longer! This has gone on for months! When I have talked to an associate or manager they told me they'd put in a ticket, expedite the process and call me back in with an update. No one has ever called me back. I called this March, an associate said that the two ends of the sectional were available, they were just waiting for the wedge piece. I said I'd take it, I wanted it delivered and I'd wait for the wedge piece. I was told to call mid April to set up delivery. I called two weeks ago and this time they only had the wedge available and were waiting for the end pieces. We're at the point where we're going to ask for a refund. This is ridiculous! Horrible communication! None of the managers, at any point, offered to make it right or get us the furniture we paid for. We will never shop at Ashley Furniture ever again.

Anthony Henry is the best sales person that Ashley furniture could ever imagine to employ. They are so lucky to have him. Not only did he sell me a leather sofa and ottoman he saved my cat from a house fire even though he deathly afraid of cats. He taught my kids how to read, and visits my family just to check in on a regular basis. This man goes above and beyond for a sale and brings back true customer service.
Ordered a Tempur Pedic mattress that was shown to be in stock and was due to be delivered on March 16th on a March 4th purchase. Two days prior to the delivery I was notified of the mattress arriving on the 22nd. April 12th and still no answers and only apologies. Customer care said the salesman lied and didn’t accept accountability for their own persons inaccuracy about a delivery date. March 16th, April 2nd, now potentially April 22nd but unknown if the mattress actually exists. Shop anywhere else!

We were looking for two new chairs for our living room and found some that we really liked. Our associate was very attentive and even found us a "hidden" discount. My only complaint was that the paperwork took awhile, but we should be getting our delivery in a few weeks -- very exciting!!
I asked for end table trays and the customer service rep fold me they didnt have any. I found them myself. Another very helpful agent got me a picture from the back I liked ans brought some small items to my car!
Kristy was an excellent assistant with helping us find the right furniture for us. She was very knowledgeable and patient. She understood the things we were looking for and managed everything with great ease. My husband was uncomfortable and Kristy explained everything to him and eased his stress. I purchased bar stools from Ashley. They came defective and broken. After seeing the quality of workmanship, I decided I did not want them and tried to return them. Ashley does not have a return policy. You are stuck with garbage furniture. They tell you it is in the fine print on the receipt you sign. But no body draws your attention to it. In fact, the sales associate told me they do refund with a stocking fee. So they also lie to you. NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture.
Tiffany was able to help me pick out a three piece sectional. She worked with me over the course of two days to find me exactly what I needed by looking at photos of my apartment and discussing color schemes. This was the first brand new piece of furniture I have ever purchased and I will always come back to Ashley for the rest of my furnishing needs.
Picked out our new reclining sofa and matching loveseat, as well as our new Temperpedic Mattress and power base. Our experience was very pleasant and very easy to go through. I’d highly recommend going to the Edwardsville, IL store and ask for Anthony.

Joe Sterling was a complete sales professional. We told him what we were looking for and he steered is in the right direction. We found what we wanted and got a great deal. Thanks for everything. Update 2/23: we were told that we could pick up our furniture at the warehouse. We were told the hours for the warehouse was 8-5. I got off work at 2:45 and drove straight to the warehouse. I arrived at about 3:35 and found the warehouse closed at 3. Not very happy to have driven almost an hour in sleet to turn around and drive an hour back home in sleet and snow. My wife in the mean time, contacted customer service and was hung up on. Then she called the store and spoke with the office manager that refunded about 5% of our purchase for our trouble. Still liked the service from our salesman, but not impressed with everything else involved.
Absolute worst experience ever buying something. We have had dates change daily… our couch has came in different sections months apart and we are still waiting on a piece 3 months later! We have chairs to our dining table, but no table and our sofa table is now is expected 6 months out! I have been hung up on numerous times and told different information over and over. Ridiculous and embarrassing customer service!

Anthony was great. Was looking for a lift chair for my mother. He showed us the display models but they were too big for my mom. He brought up other lift chairs in their inventory on the computer and compared seat depth to those in the store. Selected a smaller chair that was a better fit for her. Anthony went up and beyond as he spent a lot of time with us. Great job and great customer service.

I was given a price and financing deal on Black Friday, then tell me they can only allow 10% off instead of 30%. After the bait and switch the manager was rude and didn’t even try to help the situation. I’ve never left a review in my life but this was dirty. Don’t buy here.

Not to happy with my purchased. First and last time buying from Ashley's. First of all the furniture i was looking for was at a Great price at Bobs (way better prices) but because it was an ashley product i was told i would have it second week of November (FALSE) i wont get it until last week of December, I understand their is a delay on furniture but that is a BIG deference on dates (they should be more accurate) which i am super mad about. Second of all the sales person who was helping me had a bad attitude and when i denied the protection they offer ($500) and denied delievery ($280) he started getting rude and rolling his eyes but was just rude at everything. BAD SERVICE AND BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!

So my wife and I just moved into a new house and we wanted to replace our old living room furniture. We went to a couple of other places before going to Ashley's and they had a variety of selections but whatever was worth buying was waaaaay out of our price range. So, it felt like we were lowering our standards to accommodate what the other stores had to offer with our budget. We almost caved in and bought from one of the other competitors but we didn't AND my wife and I are 💯 that we didn't! The next evening we drove out to Ashley's in Edwardsville to see what they had to offer and listen to me when I say that they have WAAAAAAYYYYYY more options to choose from and their options were WAAAAAYYY more comfortable! They also have reasonable prices that definitely compete well with other competitors. Unlike the other stores where you have to spend hand over fist to get anything worth while, Ashley's has the understanding that they will have customers of all income ranges coming into their stores and they seem to do their best to accommodate. The only ding that I will give them was the lack of speedy service. My wife and I were in the store for about 15-20 minutes before we even had an associate come to talk to us. To their defense, I believe that they were helping other people and may have been low staffed, plus it was later in the evening. However, the manager did find his way over to us and personally helped us himself. So with that said, I'll leave the rating at 5 stars 🌟. Side note... they offer a bunch of financing options to help the customer AAAAAAAND they're having a BLACK FRIDAY SALE now!!! So if you're looking for whatever furniture you need, I recommend going to Ashley's! I will continue to use Ashley's for my home furnishings and will recommend them to family and friends.
The worse customer service ever. Takes months to get your order and they don't keep you informed. I canceled my order and its taken forever to get my refund! Acceptance Now is just as bad. Will NEVER use either of these businesses again!I was called to say my refund was ready, so I went to the store. After waiting for over an hour, was told they would have to send a check, which will take weeks!

Bought a couch in early May, the recliner broke in early July ….I called ASAP. Waited until August for repair person to come look at it….parts were shipped to my house and now, I’m still waiting for repairs. They cannot repair it until the Friday after Thanksgiving, no exchange, no store credit, no compensation with a new couch with broken recliner for five months! Went to the store to get assistance, I called GRT, Guest Response Team and they said there is nothing we can do….nobody is even offering me a gift card for new pillows, nothing!
As soon as I came in the store I was greeted by Issac. He asked me what was I looking for. I informed him a living room set with sofa sleeper. He showed me several they had on the floor. The one I had wanted wasn’t on the floor so he pulled it up. I also saw a coffee and end table set that was on the website and he price matched the table set as it was much more in the store. My entire process was smooth and they were friendly from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone and I will certainly be going back.

Pretty good Ashley store. Large selection of furniture. We went on a weekday morning last week and about 10 min after the posted opening time, no one was there. However. We tried again on the weekend and it was open. Kristy helped us get a dining table. She was very helpful and walked us through the entire process.

I have purchased to living sets only because I didn’t learn from the first but the new set I recently purchased has a defect. The loveseats recliner and one section is separating from the center console. I have called several times and they say they are creating a ticket but I never receive a call or a scheduled date for repair. I actually purchased the extended warranty but they do not feel like they have to honor it or I would have received a return call. I am so frustrated I am considering contacting a lawyer to see if I can get it resolved.
Very pushy. Wouldn’t let me pick what I wanted. Tried everything they could to get me to buy everything in the store it seems. After picking what I could afford. I’ve been waiting since early June for my couches and it’s still 5-7 weeks out.

Went in to purchase a mattress, ended up purchasing a mattress and a adjustable frame. We were told that the mattress would be in July 27th. We contacted the store in the 28th to find out when it would be delivered, since the sales guy never contacted us 2 days prior like he said he would & we were told that our mattress wasn’t going to be ready until Aug 10-13th. We were told that the sales guy was going to call us later that day & he never did. We are still waiting on our mattress & there has been poor follow up/customer service. We were told that if we cancel our order before it’s delivered, then we have to pay a restocking fee. If we let them deliver, then we can get a full refund. So instead of being able to cancel this order and order from someone else who can deliver what they promised, we are stuck still waiting on our bed.
Terrible customer service, and you can't buy replacement cushions for your couch from them, you just have to buy a whole new couch. Find yourself a place that takes care of you better.
I placed and order for over $6000 in furniture on 7/5/21. Our sales associate was very nice and helpful. We were very clear that we only wanted furniture that was going to be available by 24 July. Every piece (with the exception of a coffee table) was in stock and scheduled for delivery. About a week after the purchase, we received a text that our order was going to be delayed. As upset as we were, we understood. Our new delivery date was set for August 10th. As we approached the end of July I received another text message saying that it was going to be delayed again. At this point I had had enough. After a little work, I was finally able to talk to someone on the phone. The employee helping me was very respectful and tried to help me. She was able to compensate me back $200 for the changes and eventually found a way to keep the 2nd delivery date of August 10th. As we approach that date, I received 2 different text asking me to choose between 3 delivery dates. August 10th wasn’t an option, but August 11th was. Shortly after I confirmed August 11th, I received a voicemail stating asking me to call back to setup my delivery. I called the number back and was informed that my delivery wasn’t going to delivered until after August 11th. The lady on the phone wasn’t able to give me a date and wasn’t very helpful. I asked to speak to someone else and she refused to transfer me. She eventually hung up on me. I called the store back and spoke to the same employee who scheduled my August 10th delivery. She was able to explain why my items were not getting delivered and gave me another ballpark delivery date. I have bought from Ashley Furniture my entire adult life. I have never dealt with a situation that had me more frustrated than this one. I was very clear when we bought our furniture of when we wanted it. Had we known this was going to take this long I would have looked else where. I am very disappointed with the service I have received and will not be ordering again. 8/9- Received an updated text message saying that the rest of my order was going to be able to be delivered on the 17th of August. I haven’t received any of order yet? Supposedly my entire order will be delivered on the 17th. 8/17- Just received a phone call that my 8/18 delivery (literally tomorrow) is cancelled. Apparently the transfer from Chicago did not happen. This is the 3rd week in a row that the transfer hasn't happened. I spoke with the store manager and there is nothing they can do about or anything they can do to make it right. 8/19- Received a text message saying my order was ready for delivery. I assumed this was the rest of my order, so I selected a date. I received a phone call from an warehouse representative. They called to confirm the date I picked via text. When I asked exactly what was being delivered, they told me it was my entire order. You can imagine my surprise as I thought my entire order was getting delivered tomorrow (8/19). She informed me that it was not getting delivered and it was on backorder. This would have been really great to know seeing that I made plans to receive my order the next day. I told her I wanted to speak to whoever was in charge and she said she would have to send them an email and have them call me. 8/23- I never received a call from the supervisor, but they went ahead and scheduled me for 8/25. At this point it has been pointless for me to talk to anyone. I reached out to the representative that commented on this post, but they just apologized and said I was scheduled to receive my order on 8/19. When I reached out to them about that being cancelled, they told me to call them. Full disclosure, I don't own a furniture store or warehouse. If I did, I surely would not ask my customer to call me whenever I have royally messed up delivery, communication, etc. Needless to say, if I do not receive my order on 8/25 I will be going furniture shopping this weekend.
Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't feel like a walking piggy bank. I'm sure you all can relate if you have been inside a car dealership before.
This was the worst experience ordering furniture ever. The delivery people were very rude! They barely tried to put the couch where we wanted and gave up. They asked if we wanted to keep it still and when my husband went in the other room to ask, they left the couch in our living room floor in pieces and just drove off. Turns out the couch isn’t even the right couch. The customer service people were very blasé about it and said someone would call us in 48 hours to deal with it. So we are stuck with pieces of the wrong sofa spread around our living room floor blocking the path of the disabled person that lives here. Do not buy from these people! They do not fix their mistakes in a timely fashion and getting a hold of someone in the actual store is impossible. The delivery people are rude and lazy. The furniture is cheap and wrong. Beware of this store!!!!

After years of wanting a bedroom set to match our home we stopped in to see Joe Sterling at the Edwardsville location and he took great care of us! Showed us all of our options with the particular set we were looking for and got us taken care of. Like everything it’s taking a bit to get supplies but honestly you want great quality furniture so the wait is completely worth it! Thank you again, Joe for taking great care of us! The sales person was knowledgeable and friendly. His ability to show us different options allowed us to make a sound decision. He was able to answer any of our concerns. Ashley Honestore has a gifted and talented agent in this individual. The finance plan allowed us the ability to buy extra items to complete our room.
We purchased two items and was told by the salesperson of an in store sale of buy one item and get the second at 50% off. The first item was delivered to our home and I noted two shelves missing and a broken piece of trim. No manufacturer tags were attached and the hardware was wrapped in plastic and masking tape. Leads me to believe I was delivered a display item. I checked the Ashley on line site to see if indeed shelves were missing. I discovered the on line prices for the two items I ordered were $211 less than I paid in store for their sale. They will not adjust the price nor to they take returns. We have bought furniture from Ashley for our previous home and this would make three items for our current home. I'll never set foot in another Ashley Furniture store.

A pretty broad selection of furniture, everything was spread out though so it you had to walk through the whole store to see just the tables.
Big choice of reasonably priced furniture. You won't find future family heirlooms there, but you will find attractive furniture that will get the job done without breaking the bank.

Kristy in the edwardsville location was beyond amazing on getting us exactly what we wanted within our budget. We also had our 3 kids with us. I placed an order back in February with a promised delivery date for end of April. First of all two months is a long time to wait for delivery but that's not my issue here. Delivery date comes and goes with no one calling or emailing or anything. I tried several numbers trying to get an update with no luck. I finally get ahold of someone who says they moved my delivery date out another month!!!! Again, zero communication from Ashley furniture about this. I had a friend who recently had the same struggle and finally just camcelled her order. I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever receive my order or get any communication about the status changes. Ashley furniture sure did take the payment back in February though.. I will not be recommending this company for any furniture needs.

We purchased 3 bedroom sets, bench and dining room table and chairs. Initially received order within 45 days (in bits and pieces ). The first order we received had all the full bedroom sets (minus box springs and mattresses, apparently they didn’t care to mention those were on back order guess the kids can just sleep on the floor for 3 weeks) bench and dining room table and chairs..LITERALLY and I mean LITERALLY EVERY piece except for 5 dining room chairs and one bed headboard had damage to it..first off the delivery process is terrible..I paid the extra for white glove service only to find out that means they just throw it on the truck (no tie downs, no wrap) , when the delivery driver (who made the situation somewhat bearable) was carrying full tables by himself and cracked the side of my banister and chipped wood off of it...we spoke to our salesman who assured us..just take these items for now and I will personally make sure it is all replaced (initial order took 45 days to fill and here we are at 90 days with no plan in sight ) constantly receiving the run around about them emailing their supervisors to get this corrected but never actually seeing anything done to our products) we were supposed to receive a new table (damage was too extensive to repair) and they were supposed to send a technician out to repair the other items ..apparently they can fill an initial order with damaged equipment in 45 days but they can’t repair and replace one item in 90 we were also told our delivery fee would be refunded due to the damage (shockingly that hasn’t happened) .. I can’t stress this enough..I have NEVER had this bad of service or received this kind of run around..seriously avoid the headache..pay a little more and go somewhere else ..I heard this horror story from someone before purchasing from Ashley Furniture in Edwardsville but figured I would give it a shot..MISTAKE..normally I’m not one to negative review but I’m pretty much at my wits end..I want my purchases repaired/replaced and I want people to know the mess they are getting in
I came here to buy my first couch, and James Nauyok did a fantastic job explaining the process of financing, the protection program, delivery, etc. He was very patient with me and let me ask all of the questions I needed to ask without feeling like an inconvenience. give this man a raise 🥺
I ordered a Leolyn Black Metal Lamp on 5/3/2021, first told me it would be a couple of weeks. I called again they said July 17th it was suppose to go out! I called a couple of weeks ago to make sure it was coming, they told me it was being shipped in September, I called today to see if there was any change and now they tell me October 14th that it would be shipped. I have a problem with that and especially because there is 3 of the same lamp in the same spot, set up in the store, where I spent almost $2,000 on the couch and loveseat! Common sense, you want to take good care of your customers, then you could have said come to the store and get one of these that’s here! But no, they can’t do that! So I asked for them to cancel the lamp and return my money, the women told me No because the order already is sent to direct shipment! I don’t even want to tell about the poor way of delivery that went on with the couch and loveseat. What a joke!

We made a purchase of $6700 worth of furniture on 3/2. This included a loveseat, 2 recliners, a bed frame, & a mattress. The initial delivery date was initially set for 4/9 which I had previously explained would not work since I work M-F. The woman I spoke with said that the next available Saturday would be 4/17 and we set it up for between 8-12 that day. All week leading up to 4/17, I received phone calls from the delivery agents - first to tell me that I'd be receiving only the loveseat and two recliners on Saturday, then on Wednesday to confirm delivery of the loveseat and ONE recliner and the bed frame (but no mattress). I told the agent that I didn't want the frame without the mattress because what was I going to sleep on?! And where was the 2nd recliner - to which I was told the 2nd one wasn't in stock (where did it GO??). So delivery was set for the loveseat and one recliner. On Saturday 4/17, I woke up at 5am and unloaded all the furniture in my living room to be ready for my delivery of my loveseat & one recliner. 12pm came & went with no furniture & in the meantime, it rained all over my old furniture. I called them back that day- only to be told that there's no delivery. Nothing is in stock, nothing is scheduled, and the earliest furniture could be delivered was 4/22 and that therewas no one who could talk to me. He'd take my name & someone would call me within 3 hours IF THEY HAD TIME. I emailed Angelica back, to no response. So now, I'm sitting on my floor in my living room on 4/20 because I cannot get any answers. I called again today only to talk to a different person who told me that two recliners were ready for delivery BUT NO LOVESEAT. I've tried calling the person I purchased the furniture from, only to get his voice-mail telling me to call the same number I've been dealing with this entire time. This entire experience has been the worst customer service we've ever dealt with. It is unfathomable that a company as large and widely known as Ashley would allow this kind of thing to go on. Every person we've spoken to has essentially told us there's no one to escalate this to & made thinly veiled accusations that we're crazy and making things up. It's insulting and disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Update 4/23/21: I emailed in the requested information below & we have yet to hear from anyone regarding this issue. Update 5/8/21: After multiple communications with Ashley Riley, we were promised delivery today - 5/8/21. We never received our delivery window time, so I called the distribution center just now. They have nothing scheduled for us for delivery. They cannot see any notes regarding my communications with Ashley, nor any notes from the last time we called in. Nothing was documented on their end. We are now moving to cancel this entire order. We have been living without furniture for weeks and this is absolutely the final straw.

Delivery is terrible. They have an automated system call you 4 times a day every few days to confirm the delivery day. You don't get to choose a time. Just day. They might come 2 hours earlier then they had you "confirm" on their system. Then the movers don't want to do what they get paid for. Then they don't bring all of your order with no explanation as to if it's even coming or when. They tried to delivery the same 1 sectional 2 times, both with issues

Went looking for dressers. We found a set we kinda liked but it was only available to order online. Not being sure of the quality, we hesitated. Asked about the return policy in case we didn’t like it, NO RETURN policy. Once it’s in your house, that’s it. Who has a non return policy, especially, on items that you can only see online. Went to another store with a return policy.
Sales staff did not acknowledge us! They didn't even greet us. We went elsewhere and bought new living room furniture.
Jacob made my shopping Experience quick and easy. I wasn’t sure what kind of fabric I needed for my busy family, and Jacob was able to point me in the right direction. I got an opportunity to feel and sit on a similar couch that I was interested in and I was in and out in no time. This is what keeps me coming back!

We had ordered a couch and were told it would arrive in 8 - 12 weeks. They delivered 1 armless chair and pushed delivery date back on the rest twice. After 20 weeks of waiting we were told that the couch had been discontinued and we weren't notified. It wouldn't be ready for another 15 weeks. We asked for a floor model and got turned down for it. They offered a new version of the couch but still wouldn't give a floor model to us. They then proceeded to sell the floor model in the store to people that apparently had been waiting longer. That manager got fired and a new one told us that the floor model we requested was sold to people on the same day they asked for it and that they weren't waiting. So basically we have continuously been getting lied to by rotating staff and management. Have since canceled our order. The rest of the floor model we wanted is now on clearance has been getting sold by the piece. Ashley has lost our business completely due to their extremely poor service. Lies from management and discriminating attitude.
Purchased a recliner first week of January 2021 at the Edwardsville store. Paid complete cost of chair, delivery and set up.Today is March 24. No chair. Called a month ago and was told it would be at the warehouse by late March. I just called again and was told it would be at the warehouse on April 23. Why do I feel like I can't believe that either? Why would a store advertise a product they can't produce after 4 months?

NEVER again will I do business with Ashley Home Store!!! We ordered a couch, ottoman, bed, nightstand, dresser and chest from the Edwardsville location in AUGUST of 2020 and are STILL waiting for our order!! A few pieces were delivered in late January. We were told in August to expect shipping delays and we were ok with that. Our furniture was supposed to arrive in November. After countless phone calls, emails and texts we FINALLY were told the couch and ottoman and bed would be delivered. When those pieces came, the bed couldn't even be put together because of missing pieces. We finally got the call today that our nightstand and dresser were in but the chest wouldn't be here until late May. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
This place is HORRIBLE!!! We were told to expect some shipping delays when we bought a bed, nightstand, dresser, chest, couch and ottoman in August. It's MARCH and we STILL don't have all of our furniture!!! We are now being told it will be late MAY before it all comes in. Communication is HORRIBLE with these people and it's impossible to talk to a live human.

This was my 3rd purchase from Ashley over the last 7 years. Chad was great in answering questions and making sure I had everything I needed to complete my purchase. I would have given 5 stars except I felt like Chad was in over his head with trying to work with 3 sets of customers, which put me in the store for over 2 hours. It wasn't his fault though. It seemed like all his coworkers disappeared everytime more people came in the door. He was trying to make sure everyone was being helped.

My husband and I ordered furniture July of 2020. We received half our order and then was never contacted about the fact that it was discontinued and we would never get it. "Apparently Store Manager Tatiana was suppose to call us but never did" per manager Jeff. We went back to pick out the upgraded model and was told we would have to wait to receive it until February. So here my question to you is. WILL WE EVER GET OUR FURNITURE SET?!? Will we get the respect of a phone call, or an update on our 7month old order? (My husband and I will never do business with Ashley again, and we will be discouraging everyone from purchasing from your company.)

Awful experience. Bought furniture is October for a new home because you “need to buy” since things are taking a while to get in. Was never told if I don’t get delivered within 14 days that my order (that had been paid for) would be given to someone else. Now can not get furniture for at least another month but have no faith that will even happen. Talked to multiple people who have been very rude and will “follow up” but I get no information on progress of the order. If I don’t get any more information I will be canceling my order. Will not recommend Ashley to anyone
Do not buy from Ashley furniture. They are by far the worst retail company I’ve ever dealt with in any form. I purchased a sofa from them and within three months of the main structure of the sofa collapsed and the cushion fell in. I contacted Ashley furniture and was told I had a one-year warranty. I called Ashley furniture, had numerous service orders placed with them, And was promised the issue would be resolved by a furniture repair technician. My service orders were mysteriously canceled without letting me know. Six months later I still have no repair technician. In the meantime, I have contacted Ashley furniture every other week how about resolving this issue and they aren’t doing anything. The sofa now has nails poking out of it because of its poor craftsmanship In my family has cut themselves on the nails. I called the highest ranking supervisor with Ashley customer service and he promised me again that a furniture repair technician would come look at it. I took off work on the date that they were supposed to come and they called me and canceled because they said the technician is no longer available. I am beyond frustrated With Ashley furniture. Worst company ever

Salesman was AWESOME, management was TERRIBLE. Management would not authorize for online price match, then went on to tell me about about e-commers and about the commission they would not receive if they sold it for that price. Online store CLEARLY stated Price Match Gauranteed. I ordered the table anyway, but contacted customer service which said they do price match and they will, so they did but when I went back to the store, both managers totally ignored me, but the same sales rep took care of everything.

The quality of the furniture at Ashley Furniture has always been outstanding. I enjoyed the interaction with the sales rep Dan. He was precise in his communication, always willing to move furniture around to get that mental picture. No pressure, no misunderstanding, no issues at Financials, and no frustration during the process. I wish the ship date was shorter but we live in different times right now. Together we will get through it. I will go back.

We have spent a great amount of money at Ashley and 1 year later our sofa is falling apart. My wife and I have tried a number of times to get someone to come out to look at it and replace it and their service center always gives us the same answers: we have noted your concerns and will schedule a visit and also have a manager call. But we haven’t received anything. There simply is no follow-up coming from Ashley. The service is extremely poor! We will NEVER purchase through them again if this is the way they handle the service end of things.
My family went there tonight and had a great experience. Had a wonderful salesman Chad(Edwardsville, IL)that helped us so much, and even though we ended up spending more, we found a wonderful sofa that rocks!

BUYER BEWARE!!! I will NEVER buy from them again!!! We purchased furniture from them 3 years ago, paid a lot of money for it and it is falling apart. They do NOT stand by what they sell. We are now looking for new furniture again and will definitely not go to them. It was not the first time we bought from them but will be the last. Too many times with bad furniture experience. We have informed several family members and friends from going to them. We even had extended warranty which we were told would cover all the issues we had and it was also denied. Purchased a small Dining room table and 4 bar stools. Waited 6-8 weeks to get table only to have the drawer broke. Took drawer in and they ordered a replacement , which came in wrong. Brought 2nd one back they ordered another only to have it come in wrong again. Brought 3rd one back told them I wanted a refund. We have been waiting 3 weeks now for refund. Nothing. I have called 3 times they keep telling us its in the works. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THE STORE AGAIN . What can I say no one should ever buy from Ashley. Ordered a couch in July and have never received. Finally thought I could get some where with a reselct. Sent to Florissant store and no big surprise there trucks didn’t show up either. I have never been so mad or felt more screwed. I say pay extra go down the street to a different company
Do not buy from this store! We purchased a bed, two dressers a night stand, a couch and an ottoman from then in August and just now had the bed, couch and ottoman delivered. Not all of the parts were on the truck! The delivery men left without assembling the bed! I have tried to call so many numbers and can’t get anyone to answer. The one person at corporate I did talk to said she could order the part but it would take two weeks for us to get it in the mail. This has been a nightmare!

Really just interested in a new mattress but then I saw a bedroom set that i really liked. To make a short story, I did buy the set and a mattress but next day I changed my mind. I just went with the mattress and adjustable bed. Kristy was very helpful and understanding. Will return to this stores, this was the Edwardsville store.
My wife and I bought a new mattress from Ashley Edwardsville. Sterns and Foster mattress $3,000 failed after 1year. It leave’s horrible indents where we sleep. Ashely failed to stand behind it!
After waiting almost 6 months we finally got our bed! Unfortunately it's horribly mismade. There's supposed to be slats that over the drawers and the side rails are supposed to connect to the headboard at the same height, no 2 inches apart. Also some of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with.
There is no way to measure the level of disappointment I have with your customer support. Your processes and systems of getting accurate information to your customers must get better. There should be a simple way to get a status update on an order that was made months ago. Instead, I must call your customer service numerous times to any information, and each time I call, I get different information, conflicting with the previous update and no one ever has an explanation for what caused the change. I literally have spoken to your company 3 times in one day and have gotten different information each time. I can promise you that I will think long and hard if I ever consider buying anything from your company ever again, and I encourage all my family and friends to do the same. If you buy from this company, it will be a long, painful, frustrating experience. You will be completely at their mercy and be expected to drop everything immediately when they finally decide to communicate with you.
DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY. We purchase our furniture on Sep 6th and still have not received it. They have given us multiple dates for delivery and have failed to do so. They have told us that they would deliver it on Nov 20th, Nov 28-29th, and then told us Dec 18th just to change it to Dec 24th. Then today the texted to change it again to Dec 29th. When you call customer service they have absolutely no clue what is going on. Then they are extremely rude when you ask for a true date for delivery. They are good in the store but once you leave they forget about you. Buy somewhere else you will be much happier!!!!

The sales process was great. Cannot complain about that at all. We got a good deal on the couch we wanted. However, taking care of your customer after the sale is the most important. I was told delivery would be before Thanksgiving (we specifically wanted a couch that would be here before that with Covid). We finally get the phone call over a month later saying they need to schedule delivery. We scheduled it for November 24th. Super excited, we go ahead and get rid of our old couch with delivery coming the next day. Delivery comes and it’s only the ottoman. When you get a phone call for delivery, you would think that means all pieces. However, it was not the case. Being without a couch for over a month so far, we go ahead a buy a futon to get us through. It’s great having family sit on a futon for thanksgiving, not. The sales person went ahead a did a 48 hour ticket to try and rush all the pieces that were available. Kept trying to get in touch with him to never hear anything back. Now 3 months after our order, getting rid of our old couch, buying a spare couch, delivery is set 2 weeks from today. Hopefully with the rest! The customer service at this store is terrible, was great at first, first impression is everything. However, please do not buy from this store. We were lied to about delivery, we would of bought a different couch from them if we would of known this. Do not buy from them.

Nice selection of Beds, Furniture and carpet to choose from here. The store itself is pretty clean. The staff is very eager to make sales but they are not overly pushy. They are very friendly and respectful and bend over backwards to help you find what you are looking for. Prices are a little high and the quality of the Furniture is just o.k., don't expect more than 5 to 10 years at most out of it. Hours of operation here are. Bought a 3 piece power sectional. Took 4 months to deliver. 1 piece was delivered and the delivery drivers asked to put it in our basement until the other pieces arrived and I agreed. A few months later the other 2 pieces arrived and we're placed in our living room but the piece in the basement the drivers refused to move as "it may have covid on it" the chase that was just delivered has no power to it and when I called the store twice to talk to a manager I was told they would send someone out to move the chair from the basement and another to fix the chair, 3 weeks later neither have been done. Buyer beware.
Jacob and Casey went out of their way to assist us in picking out the best mattress to fit our individual sleep styles. Even though my wife and I have completely different comfort levels, they were able to find the perfect fit for both of us in one mattress.

Terrible customer service. We ordered furniture in the beginning of August and were told it wouldn’t be delivered until the end of October. We understood because of shut downs due to COVID 19. Fast forward to 3 days before delivery. I haven’t been contacted by anyone for updates or to schedule delivery, so I call the store which I guess sends you to a call center. I’m on hold for 25 minutes just to be told that, SURPRISE! Your furniture is still not ready to ship, and maybe sometime in December it’ll be ready. I then receive a message from someone on Facebook messenger, after speaking to the customer service and they tell me that my order will be ready beginning-mid November, with the exception of one piece which won’t be ready until the end of January 2021. So which is it? Oct, nov, dec or January? Absolutely terrible customer service and poor communication. No apologies for delays just told to go into to store to reselect an item or cancel. I think I’ll take that advice and cancel my order and bring my business elsewhere.
I had a very good experience at Ashley Home Store .... the salesman whose name was Todd was very helpful and very knowledgeable.... I thought the prices on the furniture were very reasonable and had a huge selection of furniture to choose from..... I will be returning to buy more furniture in the near future....

Very simple process. Able to walk in, assisted as needed and the sale person was already about an hour late from his shift. He stuck around longer as we were able to run home quickly, come back and close out the deal.
I had a very pleasant experience with salesperson Kristy. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything. This is the third item I have purchased from Ashley and have not been sorry yet. In these trying times I am totally expecting delivery delays but what can you do....its not the salesperson fault. In fact my furniture is suppose to come even earlier than first told. Jeffrey was so helpful. We were buying furniture to fill a whole house. He took the time to explain every little detail to us. He was extremely knowledgeable on the construction of everything. We were spending a lot of money, and he kept us comfortable through the whole process. Even saved us a little in the end!
Everything was great about ordering. Unfortunately we are stuck waiting until further notice for delivery due to pandemic which sucks but it’s out of everyone’s control. Hoping it comes soon! UPDATE- it’s October and our order still isn’t complete. We ordered in June. I have to call weekly to get my furniture update. I will not be ordering again.

I purchased a dresser from Ashley, and picked it up in my truck. The employees that put the dresser in my truck sat it upright with all drawers still free to move. It should have been laid down flat, unfortunately while driving the drawer flew open and out of the truck and his the highway to break. I signed a form stating acknowledgment that any damage after pick up is my responsibility, understandable. Also a form signed stating to bring my own tie downs and such which was not signed at purchase bc the sales rep forgot to have me sign it, so I was not educated to bring anything to tape drawers shut, which even if I had it would have only take the employees who loaded it to ask if I had anything and that they could lay it flat. It takes no more time to educated clients on how to pick up and move furniture. However when I picked this piece up, the employee was in a hurry stating how he only had 11 mins and he had to clock out on time when we went to move it. As employees who move and load furniture for a well known business, I feel like they should have known to lay the piece down so that this didn’t happen. I contacted the company and unfortunately they won’t discount the drawer or even attempt to help. I’m very disappointed that no one took the time to lay the furniture down for the best possible transport of the furniture. Especially when this is all they do and have the knowledge or should considering the business.
This has been the worst interaction I have ever had with managers in a business. I’m not sure what happened to the customer is always right, but it is definitely not practiced in the Edwardsville Ashley Furniture Store. Managers, Tatiana Delvalle and Ryan Schwab both have to be the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I have been in contact off and on with the stores since February in regards to defective furniture. They tried to pass me off to GBS to file a claim, but it was denied through them and they stated that it was a manufacturer issue, there was a nice sales associate at the store, Kristy, I believe who stated it definitely sounded like a manufacturer issue as well, but of course there was not much she could do. I was in the store the other day, because they NEVER answer the phone and got to speak with Ryan again who was so rude. I asked if I could speak with his superior in which he flat out said “no”. He did say that he would have someone call me, but that has yet to happen. I am still working on getting my issue resolved, but I will not give up any time soon. I also emailed the operations manager Tatiana Delvalle and she just ignores them. It is sad that people in these management positions refuse to help you. Please beware before making a purchase here.
Started the day off early looking for a sectional couch, after 3 stores and many hours we wound up at Ashley furniture in EDWARDSVILLE, (which was my first suggestion to begin with). We wanted something we could take home today, which is hard to come by due to covid and the shortage of everything. We were greeted by an associate sales mgr Jeff Williams and he did an amazing job!!!!! Needless to say we are sitting on our new sectional as we speak!!! Very knowledgeable, not pushy, helped us above and beyond anyone else we talked to that day! Very greatful for the experience we had there today!!!! Thank you so much
Absolutely the worst experience of my life when it comes to customer service and getting a hold of staff!!!! These people take your money and give you the around about your purchase! I have been waiting months for my furniture and I was given a date and they did a no call no show!!!!! At this point I'm currently on hold going on 40 minutes!!!!! Definitely don't recommend!!!!!
I ordered my furniture on 07/12/2020 and paid them in full. I have NOT received my furniture yet. DO NOT BUY from Ashley. I'm tired of their excuses. Completely UNACCEPTABLE service
The worst experience I've ever had buying furniture. Still don't have my ordered from an order placed July 1st and can never reach anyone to help. Im so disappointed as I like their furniture. Maybe its just this store. I would love to know if my furniture will be in before the holidays. Guess I need to go to the store for a third time.

Bought bedroom set was scheduled multiple times for delivery and confirmed through email and calls. Delivery date came each time with no call and no show. Spoke with customer service each time after and they were waiting on a new piece and not ready for delivery. This happened on three separate occasions. Impossible to get ahold of a rep or manager in store. Customer service is about 40 minute hold each time. Cancelled order and taking buisness somewhere else.
My husband and I have been wanting a new couch and finally went into Ashley to see what our options were. No pushy salesmen/women but they were there to help when you needed them. Jacob, a laid back and friendly employee, helped us purchase a new couch that we love and can’t wait for it to be delivered! Hoping the delivery process goes smoothly!
This is an edit. When we were in, the staff was great. But ever since, the experience has been horrible. The first delivery, half of the furniture was damaged, the second, furniture was missing, and the third, more furniture was damaged. A repairman is supposed to come and fix the broken item, but the date has been pushed back FOUR months in a row. Although, very friendly and knowledgeable in the store, Ashley's service has been unacceptable. Go to Kloss, instead Previous Post: Ryan was great! We walked in, told him what we wanted, and he helped us get exactly our vision. He wasn't pushy, and he knew the inventory very well. I would highly recommend working with Ryan at Ashley for furniture.
Despite being a little short staffed, the representatives never once made me feel pressured to make a purchase and were more than willing to answer my questions and help me with my purchase.
Ask for Jeff!! We had a great experience here with Jeffrey W.! He was extremely caring and really helped us find what we where looking for. The store itself seemed a bit short staffed, but Jeff didn't let that stop him. He made the best of it while helping others while we where still looking at our options. Had great service on multiple stops into the store as we weighed options for couches and sectionals. The staff was very knowledgeable about the products and promotions. When we made our decisions we felt comfortable and fully informed. While the expected delivery time is not optimal, the sales staff was upfront with us from the start that deliveries are taking longer than normal and didn't wait until after the sale to break that news. Mike, Emily, and Todd were quite helpful on our visits.
Emily, Jack and Ryan were all lovely friends who assistance was outstandingly exceptional. Those are the only people whom i would like to assure that my purchases are from. The delivery dates are unacceptable especially when you have your own truck delivery guy
I would suggest not using Ashley at this point. The Edwardsville, IL manager Tatiana is rude and not willing to support the customer and help resolve delivery issues. They also give product away to other customers if a partial order is in. Do not agree to delay an order until it is full. Get what you can when it is available.
Jacob helped us out, and he was great! He had answers to every question we had. He helped us pick out the perfect beds for both our kids, and us. He made sure we understood everything. We plan on dealing with Jacob every time we shop there. He was just a friendly, knowledgeable guy. Everyone at the store was very polite!! My kids love saying hi to people, and everyone working at the store said hi and waved to them. Everyone was smiling, and happy, and seemed the genuinely care about the people they were helping! ASHLEY Furniture has a great selection for a reasonable price. Not the highest end, but not rock bottom furniture. I've bought several sets for my house. 1 Dinning room, 2 bedroom, and 1 living room set. All have lasted me over time...15+ years and counting for my oldest set!

This is the worst Ashley by far in 2020. We bought before from them with no problems. Now when we try to call you get cut off after 6 minutes: does not matter which number you select. 1, 2, 3 or 4. Nobody picks up the phone. But you go in the store and people are on the phones. You can not get answers to your concerns!
We purchased furniture back in the beginning of June with the a delivery day beginning of aug..i have received several text messages moving my delivery date into mid Sept now..very unhappy so far..sale person was amazing my issues with the delivery process..wouldn't recommend if your in a Hurry for your furniture

I found a couch that I wanted online, so went in to see it in person and try it out. I got the couch for an even better price than I was expecting. I was in and out in about 10 mins. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. It was a very smooth process and there was no pressure to purchase. I would purchase from this location again.

I needed A new recliner so I went to Ashley furniture to find one. My salesperson, Kristy Neumann, was absolutely wonderful. She answered all of my questions and helped me find the recliners that I was looking for.
We were well taken care of, we had Andre he was very informative, help us out tremendously, I have bought there before and had great service! I am very happy and satisfied with everything so far! It is great to have such service that helps you make the right decisions, thank you!
I went to Ashley HomeStore to purchase a mattress and foundation. I knew what price point I was looking for and was happy that the associate showed me options in my price point, instead of trying to upsell me something I wasn't interested in. My biggest complaint is that while Ashley requires customers to wear a mask during this pandemic (which I totally agree with!), the associate that was helping me kept taking his mask off, playing with his mask, and complaining about having to wear a mask. For the sake of your customers' safety, please train all of your employees to wear a mask correctly.
All questions were answered quickly and correctly. We had plenty too. Will shop there again. Very nice bed for spare bedroom.
Won't ever purchase anything from this company again! I spent thousands to get a new bed, couch, chair, rug. Got a warranty that they don't honor. Sad, the quality of their furniture is also horrible.

I purchased a sectional with power recliners. Cost me around 2500. It was delivered and assembled by the workers. After they left and I got some time to actually sit on it I found that I had alot of broken parts. It was DELIVERED broken. One of the recliners would pop when used, the power remote was not attached and I literally have to climb under the couch when it falls just to use that recliner. The corner piece was broken from the back and literally felt like it was laying on the ground, and the console lid hinge was broken and fell apart. This was all on the day of delivery. It took me about a week to find all of the issues. I called the store and they took part numbers and sent replacements. At this point it had been about a month to get everything straightened. I called to schedule the repairs, and they were to call me back. I NEVER got a call back. It took me contacting the BBB to get form of callback. Fast forward a few more weeks, maybe a little over a month, and the repair man comes to my home. He was attempting to fix the corner piece, which was broken on a support beam and had springs ripped out of their holders. He stated that he could fix it, but that the piece would break again and to contact the company for a replacement piece. At this point i had already been fighting for six months just to get it repaired. I demanded my money back too. Especially since it was broken ON DELIVERY and they state that in the contract that I signed during the purchase all purchases are not returnable. So im legitimately stuck with a broken sectional that cost a mini fortune with savings and had to put the rest on one of their cards. Oh, and the repairs, well, atleast the console works, but the rest of the issues r still there. Including an entire piece of the couch that we cannot use and that has a rip in the liner now due to the back being broken and pulling. If i could give zero stars I would
I will NEVER order ANYTHING from Ashley Furniture Home Store ever again in my life. I have had the absolute WORST customer service experience I have ever had in any retail store. We purchased a couch in April, were informed less than 24 hours before delivery date that it was on manufacturer delay and the customer service rep could give a care less about calling to inform me (thank goodness the city didn't pick up our old furniture). We then were suppose to receive the couch 2 months later and received no call regarding the delivery time. I called 4 different numbers and did the online chat to finally get an answer. When I did get someone to answer she did not care to help me, was incredibly rude, and answered her personal cell phone while on the phone with me. Finally talked with someone at the Edwardsville store and she did give me a new delivery date and time. We were finally hopeful to get our couch, delivery day and time was correct...but, we received the wrong color couch. I have called the Edwardsville store 3 times, and have been hung up on each time after waiting on hold for 10 minutes. I feel at a loss and feel this store has to be the worst store I have ever puchaches anything from. I have wasted more time and energy with these people that I will never get back. I highly suggest you steer clear of Ashley Furniture because they do not care about quality in any regard.

Horrible experience. Very hard to get a hold of anyone at the store. Ordered furniture for my son and they had me call a 3rd party delivery guy who refused to deliver my furniture because I asked him if I could be first on his list because the afternoon did not work for me. When I called the Ashley Store in Edwardsville, IL they were of no help. I asked for a full refund. I was told that I was going to get one but that was 3 weeks ago. They are of no help. Would NOT recommend.

Not happy! Bought a bed and mattress, coffee table and 2 end tables on May 29th. Just getting delivery today, July 11th! The excuse from them was Covid 19 caused the delay. Blah! Sounds like just an excuse. Would have been much better if they had warned us the day we made the purchase. Of course we would have backed out and found something else. Too bad they couldn't be honest with us. Not happy!
If I could give zero stars I would! The sofa I bought has not only broken once but twice in less than a year! We had the first sofa replaced due to a broken frame after just 4 months! Now our second sofa just broke right down the middle of the frame in less than 7 months after it was sent to us as a replacement! We have no children so no one jumps on the sofa or is to “rough” on it. Just 2 adults live in the house. I have tried calling customer service 6 times just to have them drop my call each time after being on hold for 20 minutes. I expect a replacement or refund. Now we have nothing but one chair to sit on in our living room until someone finally gives me an answer.

Most aggressive/manipulative salesman ever. Was trying to get us to fill out paperwork for an Ashley credit card before we even knew what was going on. Then once we found something we were possibly interested in, he was already trying to shepherd us to the kiosk to buy it before we'd even had a chance to try it out or think about it.

We went to look at a certain table to see how it looked and were going to come back home and buy it online. When we got to the store we were met with very friendly and helpful Associate, Jacob. I told hi, we had come to see the certain dining set and he showed us to it. He told us if we wanted to look at other sets of similar style there were others we may like as well and directed us to where those would be. After looking at all the sets. We had decided on a beautiful table but didn't care as much for the chairs with that set. Jacob let us know that we could choose any chairs we seen and make our set our own. Lots of options to choose from at great prices! The only issue is that the sales woman we worked with took FOREver to process our sale. She was nice but just much too slow, especially when compared to colleagues.

If you order online, be prepared for them to continuously back order your order further and further. Cancelation is a mess and a half to get done as well. Don't call the store to ask any questions because you will be on hold for 20+ minutes. Overall, I am not impressed with this company.

We love Ashley Furniture! We’ve gone there for our couch, tv stand, and dinning room table and have yet to have a bad experience. Yes, it is on the pricier side, but all the sales members are awesome and so helpful. They’re really quick with breaking down the numbers, letting you know about sales or special offers, etc in order to get you what you want for a good price. Also, if you already have financing through them for a previous purchase, checking out only takes about 5–10 minutes which is awesome. Again, we love Ashley Furniture and we’ll always check there first for furniture needs.
Ashley Furniture does have great products. But their staff are not honest. They set ne up with financing with what they called a small interest rate. At the writing of this review I have not missed a single payment and paid twice the price of the couch in interest alone!! In short go somewhere else, but if you must shop here DO NOT trust them on their financing offers!!!
I can't seem to get ahold of anyone to cancel my order. It has been since February 1 and things are back ordered. Dont want it now.

I originally gave them 5 stars and have purchased may items from this store, but at this point, I question if I will return. The experience in the store was great but the delivery experience has been horrible. I originally purchased a sideboard on 1/5 with a delivery date of 1/16. 2 out of the 3 doors were not able to open with multiple scratches on the front and the side. Decided to keep the original piece with a scheduled exchange to have something in place. Item was out of stock so next delivery was scheduled for 2/28. When they arrived, I had them check the sideboard before removing it from the truck and it had the same issue (doors not able to open and multiple scratches and dings on corners and sides). Refused delivery and was told that I would receive a call within 48 hours to schedule the new delivery. No call but did get a text message with 3 options for delivery. Chose 3/10 as new delivery/exchange date. As the date approached, no call or communication. Called today (3/10) and was told that the item is on back order and new delivery is 4/9. 3 months from original purchase date. I paid $130 for delivery for an item that is damaged and cannot be used, not to mention the 3, will be 4, days I've taken out of my work time to be available for the deliveries. I could have saved a lot of time and money by renting a truck and picking it up myself.

My fiance and i went to the Edwardsville location on Thanksgiving night. We ordered a whole new bedrooms set mattress and all. A week before the delivery they tell us that the furniture we order was discontinued. How did they not know this was discontinued. They told us that we could have the floor model. We come in the next day after we got the email that is was discontinued and the floor model had cracks and scuffs in it. We decided after to go with a different display that was much less that couldn't be delivered until the 18th of January. i just looked at my statements and they charged us for both sets of the furniture. Now this is another thing we have to fix. Its been an absolute nightmare with this company.

Worst experience ever. The store manager at Edwardsville Il actually transferred me to a porn call site. She hid in the bathroom when I tried to come in to the store and I haven’t been able to speak to her yet. Our bed was delivered damaged, the ‘tech’ they sent didn’t feel the need to install all of the hardware therefore leaving us without a bed for another 2 months and when they tried to deliver the new bed, they only showed up with the rails and no hardware. I’m now told that I have to wait until April 2021 to receive the rest of the parts. Cant anyone help?

If you get anything from Ashley Furniture make sure you look at it closely!!!! I spent $8000.00 and just discovered 13 months later the installers didn't put my bed together incorrectly and I only found out because I turned our mattress and the slats were not fastened on one side of the bed. I will NEVER buy anything from Ashley Furniture again and you shouldn't either. PS. The person I talked to at Corporate was very rude and incompetent. Again Buyer beware!!!!
Walked around this store for about a half an hour without one salesperson asking me if I needed some help....once I got assistance filled out my paperwork and corrected my phone number...the saleswoman assured me they would make appropriate changes once the paperwork got to the back...next day I got an email from delivery asking me to call store to change my phone number because the man with my old number said he didn’t order furniture....smh...

Jeffery Williams helped us pick the right bed for us. He took time with us and explained everything to us.
We visited this location a few times before buying a sectional. The salesman who helped us clearly had a script he used when selling furniture. It started with complimenting my husband's blue eyes and comparing me to a celebrity. This happened multiple times. There were a few conversations where my husband and I looked at each other knowing the conversation wasn't genuine. We decided to buy the couch since that is what we were there for. The couch that was pushed on us was an awful fit. We will be canceling our card with them as well as never shopping with Ashley Furniture again. Our custom sectional did not even last more than 18 months. It was an absolute waste of time and money that we are here starting from scratch. And now we have to get rid of a sectional on top of finding a new one. Their customer service was unhelpful in this matter. We are past the year warranty when we knew this issue after owning the sectional for two weeks. We made the best of a bad situation until now.

My daughter was in a need for a lift chair. Dustin at Ashley's was so compassionate about finding my daughter a quality chair that would meet her needs in every way possible. He was so knowledgeable about the chair and of other Ashley products as a whole. We didn't buy the chair and decided to wait and visit other furniture stores for price comparison and etc... We did find other lift chairs at cheaper prices and lower to same quality but not as compassionate or knowledgeable about their products as Dustin. On Monday we returned to Ashley's and bought the chair. Dustin was great in answering all our questions and making sure all our needs were met. Thank you so much Dustin I'm sure my daughter will be so comfortable in her chair when it arrives.

So we went into Ashley the end of Nov. and after deciding on furniture for our family room the guys explained it would be beginning of Jan before they could get/deliver it. With that being said we looked more and found another we liked the guy said it would be delivered Dec 28th not what we wanted but we understood with the Black Friday and all it was a busy time...Dec 26th we get emailed and called that our delivery would be there after 10 am on Dec 28th...when Dec 28th came they showed up with only our couch and ottoman and said they didn’t have our chair we would have to call them say they can’t get the couch in the family room and left it in our laundry room my husband and 15 year old son had the couch where it belonged in 3 mins after they left. We go to put the pillows on our new couch they aren’t the right ones and don’t even match at all...So I call and they say the chair is now not available until Jan 9th and someone would have to get ahold of us about the pillows. I come home several days later to find a box in front of our door from Ashley it’s our pillows no one ever contacted us about but they were the right ones so whatever just happy to get them. Now Jan 8th comes they set up to deliver Jan 10. Now today Jan 10 we wake up start our day and they have a automatic call saying to contact a number about our delivery it is not available and won’t be until Jan 22 and when I expressed how unhappy I have been with all this was told a GM would contact me and here we are 9pm on Friday night with no call returned how is this acceptable business and has anyone else had this problem

My family and I visited Ashley this past Saturday. The first thing I noticed and appreciated was that we weren’t rushed by sales associates upon entry. We were able to browse for a few minutes before we were greeted and asked if we could be helped. We already knew what we wanted as we had been looking on their website prior to our visit. We wanted to “test drive” the sectional we had been admiring online. Our sales associate, Whisper was able to quickly find out that they did not have the model we liked on the showroom floor. Another associate that I believe was a manager joined us and was able to pull up the sectional’s swatch images online so we could see the fabric close up. They also pointed out a sectional they had on the floor that was comparable in size and style. We decided to purchase the sectional even though we didn’t get to see it in person at the store. Whisper and Ryan helped us with financing and the entire process was quick and the details were explained plainly and thoroughly. We never felt pressured or uncomfortable. Whisper also interacted very well with our 4 year old. All in all we had a very good experience and would recommend Ashley to our friends and family.

I bought some very expensive living room furniture with Ashley. I purchased an extended warranty so that if needed it could be fixed or maintenanced. The recliner I purchased needed fixed almost immediately within months. Took forever to get it fixed. Then other things on the same recliner went wrong among several other issues with the couch and over sized chair. After multiple attempts to get the issue resolved, 7 phone calls, 2 emails, and 3 months of waiting someone finally ordered parts today. Now I have to wait once again and call back when the parts are received. We will never purchase another single piece from Ashley. Poor customer service.
We got a great deal on our furniture, and a great price, which included a warranty. If this furniture lasts like it should, we’ll be back for more!

I went in yesterday with my son to buy a couple of couches. Susan was so helpful as we couldn’t decide which ones we wanted. When I found out they couldn’t be delivered for three weeks, I became frustrated and said I would come back if it didn’t work out elsewhere. I felt really bad because Susan had worked with us for an hour and we left in frustration. After looking online at several couches, and realizing the delivery wouldn’t come any sooner not to mention these couches were a lot less than all other stores, I went back today and found Susan. I explained to her my frustrations yesterday and thanked her for her time yesterday. She very calmly and happily completed the order for our two couches. Literally took us 2 hours to finalize our decision. The salesman and staff were so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. Even with the children be silly and such! Love our furniture this is 3rd time we have purchased from them!
I’d rather shop online. Customer service was mediocre. Only shown one item in the category requested, all other inquiries were answered with the cheapest option which we never said we were looking for....the other salespeople were not at all friendly....we used Acceptance Now because we didn’t want to pay cash or use credit, those ladies were very nice and helpful.
We bought a couch here almost 5 years ago. It is falling apart in more than one place. We paid $1,500 and it’s is clearly not going to hold up well. Thankfully, I bought the protection service, but I’ve been trying to call all day and costumer service keeps putting me on hold, having me wait for ten minutes then the call drops and I have to start over. I’m not impressed with the product or the service.
Ordered furniture delivery guys couldn't make it work thru door. Reordered more expensive better set gets delivered with legs falling off loose screws. Tech never arrived to fix problems. I fixed myself never received call back or delivery refund. Horrible quality horrible customer service.

Please don’t go we ordered furniture missing an end table they admitted it wasn’t delivered but the driver closed the ticket this happened on December the 4th they said can’t give me my end table because ticket was closed and no one can get it back open. Go to their face book wish I had before shopping with them a lot of people had the experience they are nice until you paid for your furniture . Told them they can pick up the furniture got told once it’s in your house it’s yours nothing they can do
Recieved a phone call yesterday confirming delivery for today (Saturday December 7th), when I talked to the person at 9am they acted as nothing was wrong, around 3:30pm I recieved a call stating the chair was on back order and wouldn't be available until December 19th, which by the way the furniture was ordered the weekend before Thanksgiving. So since Ashley furniture couldn't keep their end of the contract (having the furniture delivered today) and I cancelled I have to pay a 10% cancellation fee. Apparently the sales man went over this with me, which is not true. Again do not buy from Ashley Furniture- they are a rip off!!!
I came to Ashley to buy a couch that I had been wanting for quite some time the doors opened I was very sick but want this couch very badly raised my hand and asked for a Salesman the store was really packed a young man saw me walk straight up to me and ask what I needed I told him what I wanted he took me aside by the couch filled out the forms I paid cash and was on my way Ashley is a wonderful store I have always bought my furniture there and I've never had any problems with anything that I have bought my furniture has lasted for years every time thank you Ashley for your commitment to give your customers Quality Furniture Dixie Baldwin

We ordered a cabinet on Sept 2nd. It was out of stock. They said we would get it Oct 10th. Called Oct 9th and said it was still unavailable and won't get it until Nov. 15th. They called once again and it is now delayed until Dec. 26th. I will NEVER but from them again. I would cancel this order but I can't find a cabinet I like.

We bought our couch from Ashley furniture 1.5 years ago, purchased an extended warranty on it and the middle seat has completely caved in, due to the metal frame failing. This is not covered by the warranty. So buyers beware, although Ashley is at a lower price point, it’s beyond ridiculous that a couch frame isn’t even built well even for 1.5 years worth of gentle use.

We were looking for a sofa and love seat for our living room and I stopped into the Ashley Home store in Edwardsville. We had some options in mind that we saw on their web site. The service was fantastic. I shared with Jarius what we were looking for and he helped me find the best fit at a great price, better than what we could find online. Walked in the store and was greeted by a young man named Shane. I explained to him that I had purchased a a headboard previously and wanted to now get the footboard and rails to match. I explained to him that I had looked on the Ashley website and couldn't find it. I was afraid it had been discontinued. I visited Ashley Home store monday to check out couches, chairs and sectionals... i got an idea what i wanted with the help of salesman Todd..so i went home and thought about all of my Selections. I took my girlfriend back today..(Tuesday)..we were met by a very nice young man..his first week on job..he took me around to see more selections. Can't remember name. Pointed out several helpful points on my Confusion..then another helpful hand came by..Michael Cain..the 4 if us talked over all sorts of options for my new Furniture selections..wow they were so helpful! We had a great experience at the local Edwardsville Illinois Home Store. Jeffrey made sure that we found exactly what we were looking for and at the best price. We’re extremely happy with our service and overall experience.
I worked with Trey and Jay and they were great to work with. They didn’t have the particular couch and chair I saw online but showed me several that were similar that were in store. I had already done my research and knew what I wanted. They ordered the pieces I wanted and delivery is coming much faster than I anticipated. They both made the process very smooth and easy. The prices online were a bit lower and they were nice enough to match it.
We bought a couch and an oversized chair from Ashley on Oct 5. After we left we looked online at the Ashley website and saw that the purchase we had just made was $460 cheaper online ($100 cheaper for the couch, $200 cheaper for the oversized chair, and $160 cheaper for the warranty). We found it odd that since they order everything off of the computer the prices were not the same. We went back into the store and our salesman seemed to know exactly why we came back in. They handled everything well and fixed the paperwork however it is now Oct 16th and we still have not received our money back from the purchase. I stopped in the store and was told the tracking system was down and they would make some phone calls and get back to me the following day. That was 4 days ago and still no call or money. I tried to call the corporate office however if you buy in-store it only directs you to call the store you bought the furniture from. Buying furniture is never a completely delightful experience but this has been horrible. Buyer beware if you must buy furniture from Ashley be sure to check online to ensure you are getting the best price from the company. I’m just happy that this happened before we move next year and need to buy furniture for the new house. We will be going someplace that makes furniture buying a pleasant experience and focuses on customer satisfaction.

Great service, choosing furniture. Paperwork regarding financing was a bit clumsy. Wish they offered a haul away of old furniture that’s being replaced. That is the biggest hassle of our shopping experience. It would be a nice perk if they offered that
3 times we had to hunt down a sales associate and as soon as they answered our question they were gone again. Also we were on a schedule and were told the paperwork would only take 5-10 minutes...an hour later we were finally done. And when given our delivery date it was OVER a month away and there was no explanation why. I will NEVER waste my time at this store again and am sharing my experience with everyone I know!!
Gorgeous furnishings! We must have looked 2 hours. Their Labor Day sale is a real magnet for all those pieces you're looking for. The sales staff go above and beyond the expected. Now I went to onto ohe store they greet you promptly, butagain you hear the phones steady ringing and you have several ppl sitting right next to the phone like they are ringing deaf. The only reason I'm giving a one-star review is because a zero-star review isn't an option. This was the worst shopping experience I've ever had. Where to start? When you walk in the building, the workers swarm you like vultures. They won't leave your side to let you think or talk to somebody with you about making a decision. Unfortunately, the actual shopping experience was pleasant compared to the delivery process. I ordered 4 pieces of furniture on July 21st, 2019 and it is now September 23rd and I just got a call that 2 of my pieces of furniture have been delayed for the SIXTH (6th) time. I have been sleeping on the floor of my house for 2 months because the bed I ordered is on back order. However, they keep giving me delivery dates and then canceling them the day before. They refunded me some money for the first 3 delays, but for delays 4, 5, and 6 I'm not even getting any money back anymore. It's also impossible to get a hold of anyone at Ashley whose fault it is. The people in the store, the corporate office phone number, the delivery people...they all just blame each other. They tried to offer me store credit after one of the delays until I made it pretty clear I'd never spend another cent of my money with them again. The customer service employee I spoke with 4 times was helpful at first, but there's only so much she can do to cover up for everyone else. Even she admitted that the company is a joke and they are losing customers because of it. It's a miracle this company is still in business. If you are in need of furniture, watch a YouTube video and build something yourself before you go to Ashley. The quality will be similar and you will get it much faster. I wish I had two extra hands so I could give Ashley Homestore four thumbs down. What a pathetic excuse of a company.

Revised 08.15.19 After writing this review I received a call from Ashley Furniture, and this time they were very understanding of the issues and wanted to make it right. They offered an exchange and a credit as well as a gift card. the woman I spoke with at the corporate office, Linda Wilson, was every bit of nice and empathetic. I enjoyed speaking with her. Some of my initial sentiment still stands...read the fine print, check online, and know the limitations. However, it is comforting and encouraging to know they are willing to and want to turn a bad experience positive. If I could give this negative stars I would. BUYER BEWARE AND READ THE FINE PRINT!!!! We purchased 2 loveseats, 1 sofa, and 3 end tables from Ashley Furniture on July 21, 2019. It was finally delivered today, August 10, 2019. There are 3 things that we are unhappy with regarding the purchase. The primary issue is the furniture does not fit in our living room. When we made the purchase we measured our living room several times, and had a print out of the digital measurements of the room. We measured the furniture several times in the store at Ashley Furniture, and knew the fit for the set up we wanted would be tight, but based on the measurements given from the store it would work nicely. One of the things we established with the sales person was that we were concerned about needing to pull the furniture out too far from the wall in order to make the fit work since it all reclines. We were evaluating another set up at a different store that hugged the wall. We were assured that we'd only need a couple of inches of space which is what we allocated. The furniture was set up in an open space so it was hard to fully judge. When it was delivered the furniture requires at least a full 6 inches of space in order to fully recline. This means that it will not fully fit and is unsafe for our 1 year old daughter who I just watched crawl completely behind the furniture like a tunnel. Now we have to move it close to the wall and will not be able to use the reclining functions. The 2nd issue we have is the way they advertised to us and the hard and dishonest sales tactics. We went in several times that week, but were told to wait until our purchase date because they were having a 30% off one day sale which was "THE BEST SALE THEY'D EVER HAD." We believed them and made the purchase. However, when we got home something felt off. I looked online, and the online version of the store the total cost was significantly lower. At other stores, we would have saved appx. $650 on the purchase and delivery. This means that the sale they were advertising in stores was a direct lie. DON'T BUY IN THE STORE AND CHECK COMPETITORS FOR THE SAME PRODUCTS!!! The last issue is that when we approached them with these complaints we were told that they "order the furniture specifically for us" and therefore it was nonrefundable. We did not order custom furniture and therefore it's not "specific" to us. Immediately after ordering we would have had to pay a 10% restocking fee, and once delivered, it was completely non returnable. Even airlines, whose policies are horrible, will refund your money within 24 hours. NOT ASHLEY! The details of the contract were explained to us as we ordered, and we initialed. These details were never mentioned as we initialed the contract. Had I known about either policy I never would have purchased from this store. I will never spend another penny with these people. Not in store. Not online. Worst customer service once they get your money, hard sales tactics, and ridiculous policies.
I visited Ashley's Homestore to look at a smaller bed and dresser/TV stand. I worked with Mike Cain, and even though he was a newer employee to the store he was very knowledgeable. Also, when he did not know something he asked for help from more experienced employees which I liked. He knew as a customer my time may be limited while looking and was not afraid to ask for help. I also worked with a Sleep specialist, Jeff Williams, and he was very knowledgeable about the different types of mattresses that they have. Altogether my experience was great.
We had a good shopping experience Tuesday. Todd helped us out to find a mattress and couch to fit our budget. He was very friendly and professional and knowledgeable on what they had. We would definitely shop here again.
aweful aweful aweful - customer service is not on their radar. - corporate doesnt give any concern for service from stores. - customer service center is dismissive, rude and downright hateful depending on which person takes your call. - asking for a supervisor should never be answered with "there is no one else, I am who you get". We bought a bed "as is" from the show room floor and paid for their delivery contractor. well it arrived on time and wasnt assembled. due to their terrible service the mattress for the bed was delivered 2 weeks later than requested. that day we tried to assemble the bed and realized it was really messed up, parts didnt fit, parts were broken and even some were missing. so I left messages with the Edwardsville store, the store manager and the corporate service center manager... none of them called back and then after numerous attempts they all claim they either cant be responsible because who knows what we did to it in the weeks that they wouldnt call me back OR its As is so sorry but you bought it... it was assembled and unbroken when we signed papers... ultimately I suggest not ever stepping foot in their store. I regret not walking out when the sales agent made & repeated snarky comments about us asking for the store advertised 0% 6mo no interest special .. maybe then I wouldn't have had a 10yo girl on my air mattress in the family room for nearly a month before we finally fixed the piece of junk bed ourselves AND we wouldnt have spent multiple hours of seriously frustrating conversations with the various layers of horrible service providers at Ashley homestores. btw I requested on multiple occasions that they review the call recordings... they 'noted my request ' and hung up. run. do not stop! we never will again. that's for sure.

He gave us our time too, so we never felt pressured. Not only did we buy a mattress that day we also did a new bed too! Ashley furniture store is my favorite place to buy furniture for my home. Normally I go to the store in Shiloh even though I live closer to the Edwardsville location. The two times in the past that I went to the Edwardsville location they were extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. However I needed to complete a set I bought in Shiloh and the last piece was at the Edwardsville location. So I begrudgingly went to Edwardsville. I was meet with nothing but professional, friendly, accommodating, respectful employees. I was immediately greeted, asked if I needed any help and assisted. There was even an issue with some misinformation I was given and they made sure to do all they could to rectify the situation. Thank you to all that helped me with my purchase. Thank you to whomever made the staff changes that eliminated the old rude incompetent staff and replaced them with the attentive professional staff that is there now.

The absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced. After being a loyal Ashley customer for 20 plus years, I will NEVER shop here again. Buyer beware. If you have an issue like we did (movers damaged brand new hardwood floors, furniture delivery was rescheduled numerous times, furniture was broken and scratched up), Ashley will not help you. We called, emailed, went into the store numerous times. The store refers you to corporate customer care who never answers you. We finally had to dispute on our credit card bill and Ashley was so bad that they didn't even respond to the credit card company within the 90 day allotted period. Seriously never use this store chain. They've lost a long time customer for life.
Our sales associate Matt Lewis was wonderful. He allowed us freedom to shop but was there to answer any question. The sales transaction was simple and worry free. This was my first time to purchase at Ashley in Edwardsville and I am already planning to make my next homegoods purchase there. They have a large selection at a reasonable price. I visited Ashley Furniture in Glen Carbon. Salesperson was not pushy. He allowed you to find your own way until needed. However, he talked too much. I went through Acceptance Now...30-45 min process...very time consuming. Don't go through that process if you're impatient.

And if u dont use it u have to wait 5 years be for they will give u store credit and then only on a more than 500 purchase... they get u comming and going.... Don't fall for this sceme and what's worse is Ashley home store knows its a scam....very disappointed.....I can't wait to get there cut and post response that is well documented on these sites...there r no short cuts people. Do yourself a favor and just spend the money up front... Goto a more expensive store and pay outright.. Save yourself the effort.....u will be disappointed....

After purchasing a substantial amount of furniture from this company and having it delivered by them to my home, I found out the hard way that when they damage your property they dont necessarily hold themselves accountable. They do have a third party furniture repair company they use and you are more than welcome to call them. Good luck with that. The manager at Ashley even went so far as to tell me that once your purchase is complete that they dont consider themselves responsible. I will never buy from here again. There are other companies that care more for the customer.

I came in today to get new living room furniture. I walked around for about 20 minutes. I walked past several employees. Not once was I acknowledged. I ended up going to the desk and asked for help. I found some furniture I liked and got some quotes and took some pictures to take home to my husband. While at home I pulled up the website to show him the set some more and every piece was 150-250 less than the tag on the floor.
A month to deliver my bed is outrageous
So I went to ashley’s furniture in Edwardsville to purchase a new couch well I got a couch and ottoman I told them I wasn’t moving for a few weeks and can you put me on a will call the furniture was in stock so I was told I went to the store to let them know what day I was moving so they can deliver it and quote I was supposed to be on a will call and they told me my furniture wasn’t in stock and couldn’t deliver it for four weeks after the day I was going to be moving and I fought with them for a week there Communication is terrible I will never go back and would not recommend them to anyone and it seem the only thing the lady cared about was her Commission not customer satisfaction it was the worst experience i have ever had in a furniture store

My husband and I are done shopping here after this last straw of bad experiences. We used to shop here very often and have spent thousands of dollars....but never again. We ordered a piece of furniture that literally never arrived. 3 attempts and 3 months later of “no shows” or “its on the way” we decided we didn’t want it anymore since there was no hope of it ever arriving. We cancelled the order and to this day have still never received a full refund on our $500+ furniture purchase. It’s been 8 months now and 3 follow up trips to the store and we’re still begging for our money back.
If you would have asked me when my husband & I purchased our sectional I would have absolutely recommended Ashley. However, now after 3 phone calls with their lousy excuse of a customer service department, I am fuming. First your stores AND delivery team need to get their act together. When I scheduled my delivery for 5pm on a Wed I expect it to be here around 5 pm not between 10:30-1:30, when I’m at work. Then when I call & ask for a change in time so it could be delivered at the original time & I’m told nothing can be done, it really makes me rethink the whole purchase. You should be able to change the delivery & work around your customers schedule rather than a shrug of your shoulders & a sorry we can’t fix it, it is what it is. I would rethink any purchase you make here or at the very least rethink having them do the delivery.

January last year my husband and I purchased over 7k in furniture. We just bought a house and had nothing in it. 8 months later my couch started pilling. There are little fuzzy balls COVERING the entire couch. I called and was told no warranty covers this problem. Annoyed but exhausted from how many times it took to get ahold of someone I said whatever. A month later I notice the seems on nearly half of my cushions are tearing... I call and complain about both the tearing and pilling and was told to contact the third party warranty company Ashley encourages you to pay for and swears by. I did and put in a complaint and waited weeks with no response or follow up. Mid January I’m fed up and call again. I’m told now that the manufactures warranty is up even though my first complaint was before this. They then tell me it’s “wear and tear” and to call the warranty company again. I do. The warranty company says “sorry this is a manufactures defect. I’ll transfer you to Ashley’s cooperate office.” I’ve been given the run around for months. These tears are on now 6 cushions. It’s just me and my husband. No kids.. no wild abuse. We sit together in the same spots when we are even home, which is rare. Ashley is a fraudulent company. Scamming people into purchasing expensive pieces that are cheaply made. They push this warranty all for them to cover nothing and have different terms of coverage. Every time I ask for a manager I’m disconnected or told someone will call back and no one ever does. We are now seeking legal action because we still owe on this couch that’s no longer in useable condition. BE CAREFUL... THEY WILL SCAM YOU. They have a 1.1 star on consumeraffairs.com and thousands of complaints filed with the BBB. Here are a few of MANY photos we have of this expensive but crap couch.

My furniture has finally arrived and it looks very nice. I thank you all at the store level for your assistance. Now my warehouse experience was horrible and the worst. My date was pushed back several times, the customer services reps. were rude, lacked knowledge and good customer service etiquette except for Kim. Kim exemplifies what customer service should "sound" like over the phone. The last time I furnished my home with Ashley Furniture it was such a wonderful experience. The home store did let me know my delivery would take about 4 weeks and I was ok with that but it was everything unnecessary in between that was frustrating. Including a torn leather chair I sent back. The home store was able to reach out to the warehouse on my behalf but not so great at "consistently" following up with me after I was promised a call back from them. I had to call and get my own updates. But when all is said and done my beautiful furniture I am now enjoying, was worth waiting for.

Always a pleasure to shop locally. Service was relaxed, no pressure and friendly. Prices are very competitive and reasonable. Wouldn't think twice about returning for additional pieces for our home.
My boyfriend and I went to the store and purchased a sectional, couch, and love seat. They pushed out our delivery date a month out because of the sectional. Once we finally had our stuff delivered they realized it was the wrong configuration of the sectional. We contacted the store and asked for them to bring us the correct sectional and in a rush because we got rid of our old furniture and had a party planned that we needed seating for. The best they could offer us was a delivery date another two weeks out and in addition to pay an extra $400 to have the sectional we ordered in the first place sent to us. We told them to go ahead and cancel our order and we would take our business elsewhere. Furniture is way too expensive for customers to not receive the correct product and then have to come up with another sum amount of money on top of it to get what you wanted in the first place. They didn’t offer anything to keep our business or make this order right.
They match the online price and their delivery is 30 bucks cheaper than the online price! They were awesome!

Update: 1/31 received a text that we can pick up our bed. I don’t even know were to start. It’s been a complete disaster from the first purchase. We purchased a bedroom set in November. We were going to pick it up since delivery was $160 since I live in Illinois. Weird because I purchased the furniture in Illinois. We were told to contact the store in 3 weeks because some items were on backorder. I called the store, was told 2 night stands, mirror and dresser was there but not the chest it was on backorder. The lady told me to keep checking but the would call when all in. 4 weeks by still no furniture but when I called only thing there was 2 night stand and mirror. I said what happened to the dresser. She said it was released. Long story short 1 1/2 in still no furniture. Was told since we didn’t pick up the pieces there they release them to fill other orders. No one ever told us that and it was not on the paper for pick up. After calling the store and giving them a piece of my mind they called the next day and said it’s all there pick up by 5pm that day. Ok great, glad i was off work. So finally almost 2 months I got my furniture. Ok I decided to buy the bed. Not sure why I wanted to torture myself with another purchase but I did. We buy the bed, set up delivery for 3 weeks. Bed was suppose to be delivered on Jan 19th. We received a phone call the Thurs before asking to reschedule to Monday 1/21 between 8-10. My husband took the day off. So being self employed you don’t work you don’t get paid. He got up torn down the old bed and frame. He waited finally at 11:30 they called to say they need to cancel the delivery because the frame is on back order. I called the store on my lunch break. Was told not sure why they canceled it’s all there, maybe it was too cold for them. Really??? So Tuesday we received a text saying the can deliver on 29th, 30th or 31st. My husband responded with the 29th. On Tues 1/22 we received a phone call at 5:30 saying they wanted to set up delivery. She said we will have it Friday 1/25. My husband told her about the text, she said sorry corporate doesn’t pay attention. On Wed 1/23 he received another text wanting to set up delivery. He called the store and was told since we didn’t answer our phone when they called on 1/22 they didn’t put us on the delivery list. Soonest they could do now is Feb 2. Yep not happening, so I called the store and spoke to the same girl. She said sorry it’s on back order now. I told her no I either get the bed Friday or cancel my order I’m done. She was a little snippy but that’s ok because I wasn’t the nicest this go around. Now my husband had to take another day off work because if I wanted the bed on Friday 1/25 we had to drive over 50 mins to pick it up. I had to argue to get my delivery fee back. I have been trying to call the store since 10:30 am Friday 1/25. Just received a call at 11:15am that now my foot board is missing. So now I’m missing a foot board that was there on Mon and Wed. So basically they take your money and never give you your product. This is the worst business practice ever. Once they have your money who cares when you get your furniture. I will never buy from here again. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. My mother in law was wanting to purchase a full bedroom set from there but after this experience she said no way. I’m curious how your order ever gets filled if they don’t reserve the stuff for you? So if all doesn’t come in the fill someone else’s order with the same furniture? Good luck on any purchasing from here again. up our bed that was suppose to be delivered. We started calling the store at 10:30am, phone just rings. Finally at 1:45 they answer with an attitude that’s she the only one there and can only do so much. That explains the horrible customer service. At this point 3 days off work now driving an hour to pick this bed up I feel we should be compensated. Will never purchase from here. Will make sure friends and family never purchase from here.

The worst experience buying furniture I have EVER had! I bought a sectional on October 13, 2018. Was told it would be available December 7, 2018. It’s now January 23, 2019 and I STILL don’t have a complete sectional. I’ve had multiple delivery dares and then even though I confirmed through text and phone call, I was still missing items when delivered. Including the seat back cushion, throw pillows, and the corner piece THAT MAKES IT A SECTIONAL!!! Photo below shows how the delivery staff left my items in my home. It has been almost FOUR months now, and I still do not have all of my stuff. They tell you they will call you back...they don’t. And no, I can’t take ANOTHER day off work to correct your mistakes. They tell you that you are getting a delivery...you don’t! AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!

Went into the Edwardsville location today looking for a dining room set. Todd helped us and was super friendly!! No pressure. Not following you around. They give you space to breath and even worked with us to get what we wanted in our budget. I will definitely be going back in the future.

HORRIBLE experience. Missed delivery dates, cancelled re-scheduled dates, and lies about returned calls. It’s very clear, once they get the sale they don’t care at all. 1 month later, still awaiting our furniture.

The worst experience buying furniture we have EVER had! The staff lies, that’s about all they are decent at. We spent almost $8000 there three months ago, have had multiple delivery dates (some showed, some didn’t...after we waited at home all day), and then even though I confirmed through text and phone call, we were still missing items when delivered. It has been THREE months now, and we still do not have all of our stuff. They tell you they will call you back...they don’t. They tell you that you are getting a delivery...you don’t! AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!
Purchased 2 bedroom sets for my daughters. Learned post delivery that they would have taken the old mattresses. They now refuse to pick them up. I spent over $5,000 in their store! In the meantime, we are still waiting for a back ordered dresser to be delivered. It was to be delivered today (12-18-18) between 9:00 and 12:00 AM. I've called the Edwardsville store twice. All I've been told is that the dresser wasn't packed on the truck. The delivery was confirmed two days prior (Sunday). No answers yet... I'll update this post after finding out what's going on. So far, apparently customer service AFTER they get your money isn't important to them. Update: was told that they will deliver the dresser on the 28th and that they're fine with me being an unhappy customer. Update 01/04/2019: They failed yet again to deliver the dresser on the 28th, and again, I had to call them after realizing that they never confirmed delivery. They never even bothered to notify me that they weren't going to deliver!!! They rescheduled a delivery for January 2nd, and finally confirmed AND delivered the dresser.

We came in today, New Year's Day. 1st impressions are that the store is very tidy and easy to navigate. Me and my husband had assistance almost immediately with Trey (hope I spelled the name correctly) who was very nice. He found a couch for us based off what we said we were looking for and also let us look around without any pressure at other options. I'm pretty happy and will probably be coming in again.
This store seriously is the WORST! I would NEVER recommend anyone shop here. They kept changing the delivery date of my couch to months after I ordered it and are horrible and communicating with customers. They never called me, I always had to hunt them down every time for an update. You call the store and the phone just rings and rings. I went to weekends only and found the same couch for cheaper, got great customer service and had my couch delivered 2 days after I ordered it. Ashley... you guys are a joke and really need to figure out how to provide customer service and deliver your product timely. My sister had the same experience as me and will never be back.
Bought a table and chair set. Our salesperson Todd was friendly and helpful. We were offered a sale that was taking place the next day. Overall a good buying experience. Update: the finish on our table is not holding up, the finish is coming off. This was supposed to be real wood, no fake wood material. We have no small children in the house so no rough use. Paid a lot for a table that needs replaced already. Very disappointed.
