I appreciate the in-store experience for furniture shopping. I get anxiety thinking about purchasing something I don't know how the value will be or how well I'll like it trying to depend on customer reviews who have all turned into AI bot comments. Shopping for furniture in store was non negotiable for me. It made it all the better experience because the service i received was impeccable. The store manager greeted me first to make sure I was being helped. I want chased around a store I was given time to look, feel and try out everything I wanted to look at. He them provided me with a sales two who talked me through the process and all my options. I'm highly satisfied with my trip to Ashley and will continue to buy from them.

I will never shop Ashley Furniture again. I bought a mattress from this store n November 2025. I paid extra for a mattress guarantee and was told that the mattress had a 30 day mattress comfort guarantee to where I could exchange it for a different mattress if this was not the one for me. About two weeks after getting the mattress the side of the mattress was giving way because I sit on the side of the bed frequently. I called the store and was told I must wait until I have the mattress for 30 days before I can request a change. I called back 2 weeks later and was told that they would have to schedule an inspection of the mattress before I could get an exchange and set up an appointment for Jan 19th, 6 weeks away. Which means I have to try to sleep on the mattress for even longer without comfort. Jan 19th shows up but no inspector shows up, all day long using the tracking app they give you to follow the progress of the technician shows that the time keeps changing. The original time was around 1 pm. Around 5 pm it finally shows him coming to my house. The tracking app shows him stopped at Club 140 which is a restaurant about a mile from my house. Then it shows him going to Schnucks, then it shows him heading towards Jerseyville, not my house. I call and they tell me he had car problems and couldn't make the appointment. The entire time the tracking app shows him driving to Jerseyville, and changing my appointment time to later I finally stopped after it said they would be at my house around 11:45 pm. I called the next day and the earliest they could come back was 3 weeks later, again they didn't show up. I called Ashley corporate figuring I would get some results, not really just the run around. I finally wrote to BBB to see if I could get some results, not really helpful either. If you want to not get a guarantee and be treated like you don't matter as a customer than shop this Ashley store. I am out $999 for a mattress, the mattress was on sale originally it was $1999. They finally did exchange it for another mattress, the same type which has the same problem. I will eventually have to purchase another mattress just need to save the money again. But it sure will never be from this store again.

I was shopping on a budget for a sofa and bed. Lizzie helped me stay very close to that plus arranged for timely delivery. Lizzie guided me toward sound purchases. I was able to get beautiful furniture and stay reasonably close to my budget.

Awesome furniture store. The staff ROCKS IT, and you can be certain after my end tables and coffee table arrive, and I get a good feel for how my living room is going to look, you can be certain I'll be buying my lounge chair from you also.

Jan 2026, husband and I walked into Ashley furniture to grab 4 counter height kitchen chairs. Kara Buck (she's an amazing floor sales associate) introduced herself. We told her what we wanted, she took us to the first set she recommended, and those were the ones we went with. While waiting for paperwork, we were looking at mattresses.... Ended up adding a king mattress to our bill. While waiting for THAT paperwork, went ended up finding a sofa and a recliner. No lie, we came in for the chairs only. We sat with Kara, and she ran different financial scenarios (3 years vs 5 years, this percentage off vs that percentage off, take off this item, add that item, etc), if we wanted delivery and or warranty (yes and yes, please), and all done with no pressure whatsoever. We will definitely be back and we will make sure it's when Kara is working that day. ☺️

Bought a recliner and some couches there in 2022. I also bought the 5 year protection plan which the salesman told me that it covered everything and it cost me almost $400. I called today to make a claim on the recliner because a metal piece underneath broke. Was told mechanical was not covered. They gave me the number of a place that could fix it but I would have to pay for. What is the point of a protection plan if you can't use it. Also train your salesman properly if they don't know what there talking about.

My husband and I made several trips to Ashley’s in Edwardsville before making our furniture decision. Danica Fields was our “go to” sales lady through the whole process of our final furniture purchase decision. She was very accommodating, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Mike, the store manager, also introduced himself to us while we were in the store, making sure we were being assisted with our shopping. I would definitely recommend Ashley Homestore and Danica for your next furniture need.

I do not recommend this store. My experience has been terrible . I won’t go into all the drama because the bottom line is what you need to know is just this. You will be treated nicely while they are selling you something. But when there is a problem with your order you will be thrown into a nightmare that goes on and on for weeks, months with no resolution. Management in this store will give you the run around. They won’t follow up with you and they will blow you off after making excuses about protocol, have to follow protocol but a resolution never comes . They refer you to something called GRT and when you call GRT you are always told the same it’s up to the store manager to fix. They understand this is nothing I caused to happen and even though a simple solution to the entire issue was available several weeks ago & still is the store manager refuses to cooperate with it. I did not ask for a reduced price either. Still manager in this store can’t see that the solution to fixing his stores mistake is actually a win win for them and me. If anything I would be the one getting the short end of the stick. But management would rather lose a customer for good which they’ve done, not resolve their mistake, and leave the customer out to dry. Bottom line bad experience so bad I won’t buy from them again. To add insult to injury the supposed store owner responds to my review to text or call them and provides the number to call. This is not the store at all nor the store owner. I called this is the same number you call for customer service that leaves things up to store manager to resolve. Store manager didn’t resolve the issue at all and calling this number is just regurgitating the same thing all over again where they really cannot do anything if the store manager won’t be reasonable. That’s the bottom line. My advice buy somewhere else. Buy from a real deal locally owned and operated business. This company is terrible to deal with takes no accountability for their mistake and the store manager is rude, unprofessional and has zero people skills.

Horrible company and I will never shop at Ashley’s again. Closed my account for no reason and then opened it under a company that doesn’t allow no interest. I’ve purchased a lot with Ashley’s and I will never buy from this company ever again.

Ordered our sectional on 11/23/25 with the salesman bragging how Ashley is not like other stores and you don’t have a long wait for delivery. Delivery was scheduled for 12/10. Due to this we pushed our Thanksgiving get together back a couple weeks. I stayed home from work for the window time they provided. The guys deliver the set. They broke my window sill and planter as they were very roughly handling the boxes. They asked if I could burn the boxes (very large ones). I told them it isn’t bonfire season, but I guess they could leave them to the right of my driveway by the old sofa for my husband to handle. They ask me to sign off on the delivery. I was missing two pieces of a five piece sectional. I ask about that and they said it must be on back order. They did not connect the 3 of 5 pieces because of this. They were in a hurry. They did not want to give me time to make sure the end electric reclining pieces worked properly. I signed and then contacted customer service and was told the other pieces were on back order and would be delivered on 1/10. No one contacted me. I requested that a manager call me to discuss. I then went outside and realized the delivery guys just tossed all the cardboard boxes in middle of driveway blocking my back yard gate, where I need access to let my dogs in and out. I have followed up weekly since this and have yet to receive a phone call. I reached out via text yesterday to confirm the 1/10 delivery and was told it was pushed back to 1/17. No one called me about this. We are not available and have had travel plans for months. I asked that someone call me to discuss. Still no phone call! Horrible customer service. Will NEVER purchase from Ashley Furniture again! ** I have already reached out on 12/10/25, 12/14/25, 12/15/25, 12/18/25 and 12/30/25. I was told each time that someone would get back to me and they have not. It is pointless for me to make another phone call or text to get the same response. At this point someone needs to call me.

Great employees and great atmosphere. No pressure and were patient as I tried to look around and figure out what I wanted to get my wife for Christmas. Quick, easy process

Very disappointing experience due to Ashley Furniture’s inventory and communication failures. I purchased a clearance Welltern dining table with 4 chairs after being told—explicitly—that I could order 4 additional matching chairs. Based on that assurance, I placed both orders that day. The clearance set was delivered, but the additional chairs were not. The distribution center later told me the chairs were on indefinite backorder, and customer service promised a follow-up that never happened. I then learned in-store that the entire Welltern set had suddenly been discontinued and that my order required reselection. I did not want to reselect chairs because I had already received 4 chairs. The only reason I purchased that clearance set was because I was told 4 additional chairs were available. Ashley would not allow me to return the clearance items or offer meaningful compensation—only a $50 gift card—despite the issue being entirely due to their misinformation. The day I placed that order, no inventory was actually reserved. Now I’m left with a table and 4 chairs that can’t be matched, and I’ll have to spend more money elsewhere because Ashley won’t take responsibility for discontinuing products without notice. I do want to shout out Dustin, Danica, and Mike at the store—they tried to help and search for any chairs that could be pulled from other locations, but to no avail. Ashley’s distribution, customer service, and retail teams clearly don’t communicate, and customers pay the price. I would not shop here again and caution others before shopping at Ashely.

Kara was great to work with. She was very friendly, listened, and helped us find the perfect sectional. She worked with us on the final price to be the best deal we could get. We are very excited about the quick delivery and install!

I went in looking for a couch and ended up getting not only 2 couches, a recliner and a kitchen table/chairs. 100% will be shopping at Ashley furniture again. I bought a bunkbed set for my grandkids I spent over $6,000.00 for the set. The furniture has been sitting in an empty room ever since May and was never used I pulled the drawer out to put some sheets away and the front part of the drawer fell off along with the screws I assumed the guys from Ashley that put my set together just didn’t tighten the screws and I was told by a representative from Ashley not to try and fix it because it was under warranty for a year and if we damaged the drawer it wouldn’t be under warranty any longer! I asked for a new drawer it was under warranty after numerous and I mean numerous phone calls they refused to replace the drawer and told me a technician would come out and look at it 2-months later a technician showed up at my door never rang my ring door bell I have him on camera and he didn’t knock on the door I had been waiting all morning and had no idea he was at the front door common sense everyone knows how to use a ring door bell but obviously he didn’t! I called again and spoke to several foreign customer service representatives that claimed they were accelerating my request and told me I was speaking to a supervisor and they would follow up with an e-mail message never heard back from anybody so I still have a damaged drawer I am so disappointed and frustrated with Ashley Furniture Store they don’t stand behind their warranty and they give you the run around. I plan on taking the drawer back to the sales person tomorrow and ask them to get me a new drawer! I will never ever buy a piece of furniture from them ever again! Very disappointed and unhappy customer!!!!

First time shopping at Ashley Furniture and first time buying a new couch. Kristy greeted us when we came in and was very helpful with questions concerning different styles and fabric types. Once we found the couch we were interested in purchasing, Kristy was right there to answer any questions and even helped us measure the couch to ensure it would be right for our house. She helped us through the credit process and setting up the delivery. Overall, I was extremely happy with the service we were provided by Kristy. She made the whole process easy and delightful.

sales clerk said it would b delivered on Monday & if not call this #. I called Tuesday & someone from India or Pakistan told me they don't deliver on Mondays, we can deliver on Friday, day after Thanksgiving when I had family plans But I waited all day and no chair. It came the following week. Not a good experience. Will not buy from u again!!

Store manager greated us and provided all store information and directed us to the perfect area. Offered a price match without hesitation and check out process was fast and correct! Deli very schedule was less than a week!

Went in back on Feb. 12 of this year (writing this 11/22) and bought 10 pieces of furniture plus special ordered 2 throw pillows. 5 pieces (HALF) of the furniture needed repaired or replaced, not the least of which was a big piece of sectional which is still broken and has the material all loose and bunched up with the seat padding raised. Here we are, 9 1/2 months later with my issues still not resolved. I still only have one of the pillows that were ordered along with a box of extra stuffing, which I don't need or want. I don't mind "problems." You just go about solving them; that's all. But I couldn't get my issues with the pieces solved despite sticking with it month after month, waiting then calling, texting, etc. over and over again. (I got on a first-name basis with the repair man that was here so many times.) I was told no fewer than 5 times that I would be contacted again by the manager of the store to resolve 2 of the issues; I was not once called by the manager. I was told repeatedly by one of the "design and sales professionals" that she would 'stick with me until the problem was solved' only to, eventually, have my attempts at contacting her ignored. 9 1/2 months. Still the sectional is in terrible shape - certainly nowhere near "showroom quality." Still only 1 pillow - paid $112 for the pair (yes, I needed BOTH for it to work) - still only have 1 which does me absolutely no good. I think 9 1/2 months of consistent attempts on my part represent more than enough chances. I will go elsewhere moving forward. _______________________________________________________________ To answer the reply - this isn't a case of we didn't follow through by calling, emailing, or texting. I've done that. For 9 and 1/2 months. Spent HOURS on these issues. Your employees dropped the ball, and dropped the ball, and dropped the ball... Follow up with the manager of the store instead of asking me to do more of the same as I've already done. They will have records of these purchases. Goodness knows we've called there enough times and contacted them over and over again. (We even went there IN PERSON over this.) Or ask the design and sales professional whose name begins with - Dea... who I've called and texted and called and texted...

⭐ Ashley Furniture Review – Please Read Before Purchasing ⭐ My husband and I recently bought a brand-new couch from Ashley Furniture for our new home, and unfortunately, this has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences we’ve ever had. We waited over a month for the delivery, only to have the couch arrive with three visible stains on the cushions. The delivery driver took photos on the spot and assured us a claim would be submitted to corporate so the issue could be resolved quickly. Fast forward to today… and absolutely nothing was documented. No claim. No follow-up. No record of the issue. Every time we call, we get bounced around, given conflicting information, or told someone will “get back to us,” and no one ever does. We’ve now spent weeks trying to fix a problem that should’ve been handled the day it was delivered. For a company of this size, the lack of accountability and the disorganized customer service is extremely disappointing. Buyers deserve honesty and support when something arrives damaged — not to be ignored or made to start over from scratch. If you’re considering purchasing from Ashley Furniture, please be aware that the after-delivery support is not what they promise. I wish someone had warned us beforehand.

The experience it self was fine, after we "bought" our chair is another story. I was approved for a store credit card, put money down to make the payment smaller, was told it would be delivered on 10/7, was even told I could pick it up to make payments even smaller. 10/7 comes around no chair. Call to see what's up and was told well you have a layaway balance, ummmm no i have a credit card debt, well your account says its a layaway with a balance and yiu can' t have your chair until its paid off. What layaway plan gives you a physical credit card and pings your credit report??? In the long run I was so mad I canceled my order. Make sure you know what your actually signing up for and that your stuff will be delivered even though you have a balance.

placed an order for a brown lift recliner $1200. When it was delivered to my dad it was gray. Went to the store and spoke with the sales person who ordered it for me and he insisted that he ordered the right color and there was nothing they could do about it. I even showed him the pictures on my phone that it was supposed to be Brown He left me stuck with a gray recliner which now I have to try to sell.

Ashley‘s is a terrible, terrible store. They have absolutely no customer service because all they do is lie. I made sure I could return this mattress before I bought it and then when I tried to return it, they said that one doesn’t qualify. Then they replied, even though our employee gave you this wrong information we still will not return the mattress. I also had trouble with a different store. I will never shop at Ashley‘s again. I hope the rest of you don’t either.

We were disappointed that the salesperson didn’t show us more of a selection of the T V stands. She didn’t encourage us to look around. We saw something we really like after a quick purchase going out the door. She also didn’t go over the bill of sale. We saw the $169.99 delivery fee once we got in the car. That is ridiculous! We had just purchased a dishwasher and only paid $50 for delivery and installation. We have purchased all of our furniture here. This was very disappointing! Not sure we will be returning!

Workers was talking about her and the manager were fighting on the floor infront of people. Was interested in buying a large set and asked the individual to run some numbers and get back with us. Never did. Was over priced anyway. Found the same thing the next week for 900$ less and a same day delivery.

I went to the Edwardsville store and sat on the couch that I wanted, but they couldn’t find it in order to create a sales order. The next day I was on the phone all day long. I called the Edwardsville store five different times using five to go to the direct store and never got an answer always had to talk to the customer service people a different one every time no one could provide me the proper skew number. I have been given four different SKU numbers for what I wanted to purchase, I finally said that I was going to cancel the entire thing, however, given the fact that the last person I spoke to after I said, I wanted to cancel my order was able to help me Why I had to decide to cancel the order before someone could help me I don’t understand. I’ll never shop in the Edwardsville store again.

After spending thousands on a couch, it started sagging just two years later. I purchased the extended warranty, which the salesperson assured me would be easy to use and cover almost anything. That was clearly a lie. When I recently tried to file a claim, I was told sagging isn’t covered—along with a long list of other common issues. The warranty is a complete waste of money, and I feel misled. Extremely disappointed. The furniture is terrible quality with a high price tag.

He knew it would be weeks before we could get the furniture because we're still closing on the new home, and he was still cordial. It's going to be a big sale of about 7 different items we need to furnish the place.

I’ve been there several times and spent a bunch! However, I bought a black table with gray top black chairs with grey cushions, I get my delivery. They sent me the wrong chairs because my table was the barstool height so I thought no big deal they’re gonna exchange him out. That was a headache in itself. Fast-forward I get a delivery I had to decline because the chairs were all scratched up and it looked like they ran out of black paint towards the bottom of them so after numerous phone calls pictures emails which is all ridiculous, I scheduled another appointment and I had them specifically put in there to make sure the legs on My chairs are completely black this time. It looks like they went over it with one light coat of black. It looked ridiculous. So my delivery comes today being August 2 of 2025. and it looks like they brought the same chairs out, so I had to decline them again and then you’re on the phone and nobody has the authority to do anything. I just want to return my table which I haven’t even got to use yet because the chairs are too short and it is like talking to the US Congress nothing gets done. I will never go there again!!! So before you go and sign on that data line check their return policy. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Here are a few pictures of the chairs they tried to deliver. You would think someone in the warehouse would catch us before they loaded on the truck for the third time. The last picture is what my table is the chairs looks terrible!

I ordered furniture from Ashley in April. The sales lady said they will be delivered on June 3. I trusted and believed her. June 2, I looked at my order summary and they CANCELLED the complete delivery order. I did not receive any phone call. I had to call them asking why my delivery order was cancelled. Shawn, the customer service representative said “well, the bed and side table are delayed and we assumed you wanted all the pieces to be delivered at one time”. I never consented and there was no communication from Ashley. I demanded to have my furniture that’s available to be delivered ASAP! The couch, tv stand, 2 night stands, and dresser were delivered June 5. There is still no update on the bed and side table. Shawn said the bed and side table will be available on June 17. When I went to the furniture store to talk to The Edwardsville Manager of Ashley, he said the bed won’t be available until AUGUST! I was told the bed will be available by June 3!! The store manager said he emailed his colleague to see if there is another bed available at a different warehouse and can be delivered before August…….to be continued…… I’m very disappointed in the lack of communication

Sales people a little pushy. For furniture delivery, I had my mom wait at my house during the delivery window. Ashley furniture did not update us that they decided to reschedule our delivery time - took an hour and a half for them to let us know after I contacted them after the delivery window was closed. Lizzie was AMAZING! She was so patient. She did a thorough comparison on two different sectionals for us. We were able to take it home and look it over to make a decision that was best for us. I was approved online for a Ashly card and didn’t have my account number or card yet. She happily volunteered to call Synchrony. She was able to get all the information needed for a smooth transition. We came back the next day and Lizzie had just left for the day. I texted her and told her we were in the store and she came right back to help us. She wasn’t bothered or annoyed. She was pleasant, informative and again patient with all the questions my husband and I had. We usually shop at Bob’s Furniture and this has been the best customer service experience by far! Furniture is coming tomorrow!

Sales, delivery and setup were great. After the delivery guys left I opened the top door on one of the night stands and it was broken, not noticeable until I tried to open it. I called the warranty group, they were helpful and responsive but now I have to wait 7 to 10 business days for parts THEN call to schedule a technician to fix it. So I'm probably looking at 3 weeks before my bedroom is finished. I'm disappointed that new furniture came to me broken and they're fixing not replacing

Furniture was supposed to bedelired on the 28 February apparently Ashley sends out text messages. If you don't acknowledge they canceled delivery. When you call to find out what happened they just tell tell you store policy. When furniture was delivered fve days later Couch was missing 0ne accent pillow. Wife call the store to fine out about it was told to turn the Couch over to fine a serial number. Other then that they couldn't help her. Will Not be going back to Alshley Homestore.

We went to Ashley's Furniture to look for a couch. We found one online, but it wasn't in the showroom. Deane helped us find one similar in store and walked through the similarities and differences. The store manager Valentin was very nice and helpful too. We ended up purchasing and would highly recommend the Edwardsville team.

This entire experience has been just bad from the start. We almost walked out after having asked Lizzie the manager to print the papers out so we could see all the numbers instead of jumping from screen to screen. Then when getting the entertainment center delivered we paid for the white glove service, which they didn't install the fireplace but took a picture of it in the box as proof of delivery, told us they could not remove the cut out back for the fireplace either, didn't check that we had everything (missing a cord to plug in a pilar), and had scratches on the glass shelves.We had to remove all the tags and install the fireplace ourselves after cutting the back of the tv stand, and then finish moving it to the wall, so pretty much paid to deliver it and slightly put together the pillars to the bar. Not worth the white glove delivery fee I paid for which was told they would make sure everything worked and set it up. Which we still haven't received a date when we are getting the replacement pieces yet and it has been a month. Then with price matching every time we do we get told a different story about what they need. I just feel like Lizzie as a manager is not friendly at all nor is she professional in any manner. I feel like I have been lied to and having a difficult time getting parts to fully be able to use the entertainment center we bought. I am so frustrated that it does not make me want to continue to look for other home furniture here going forward!

This place has horrible service. We purchased a new mattress when we were moving into a new home. Well they called for over 3 weeks confirming our order. We upgraded to a much more expensive mattress because they did not have the other one in stock. The day of scheduled delivery they never showed up. Called them since we had no where to sleep, and they said maybe tomorrow. Well then they called again they said it would be at least 3 more days maybe and they will deliver it. At that point we were on the phone for several hours and told them we wanted to cancel the order. Called Kloss furniture and had a mattress delivered in less than 2 hours time.

Overall good quality and service. Just really slow getting checked out and sofa wasn’t ready to load in car next day when they said it would be. Minor issues but good overall experience.

The sales person we worked with, Jacob was wonderful with helping us pick out the furniture we needed. We purchased a sectional, and a bedroom set. To bypass the $500 delivery fee (a ridiculous fee at that for spending 6k), we chose to pick up the furniture at the warehouse. When we got into our new home a few days later and opened the furniture, we discovered a large stain on the back of the sectional. We immediately contacted customer service, and they noted they will send a replacement. We received the package and they sent FABRIC to reupholster the peice. I expected a NEW left arm loveseat peice to arrive in perfect condition, and their response has been disappointing. Customer service refuses to REPLACE the stained peice with a new one. Instead, I have to take on the responsibility of scheduling a person to come into my house to reupholster the peice. Customer service told us that once an item is received and ownership is accepted, the item falls under warranty and are no longer eligible for return. How were we supposed to know the couch was stained when it was packaged in boxes when we picked it up?! We aren't asking for a return, we are asking for a NEW peice for the NEW couch we bought. Would not recommend unless your furniture is fully inspected before leaving the store.

Cheaply made, severely overpriced furniture. Not made of quality. Please spare yourself and go anywhere else. Delivered the wrong item and it took them 4 months to deliver the correct one as well.

Looking and making a choice wasn’t hard and chasity was great but then finding out that the material wouldn’t hold up to my dogs I tried to cancel .. they didn’t want me taking the charge off my card so they wouldn’t loose me as a customer. No means no and I got it reversed.. took only two days to show up on my card it’s been a week and it’s still not off my card!! I even told them it’s got to come off by a certain date if I get and interest charge me and the news channel will be there!!! Run people don’t walk out that store!!! Anyone who has experienced arthritis knows that the knees to do work like they used to. I plan on returning soon!!

We had spent all day shopping for the perfect recliner. We actually choose to come here last as word of mouth around town was very negative about this store. But my wife and I were open to give them a shot. Walking in we were not greeted by anyone so we just started walking around, eventually a older lady came and greeted us and led us to the recliners while constantly bringing up "financing" and "we even take bad credit" which is fair I dont dress fancy, and I dont flaunt my money but lady I told you I was paying cash..... We were shown recliners that were over priced, and very uncomfortable. I mentioned how in there websites the recliners advertised and prices listed were not matching up. And i even requested to see some of the chairs on the website (most I am told they no longer carry) the one chair we thought was ok but wanted a different color, the lady walked off and said she would see if its available (she never came back.) And we stood around the chair awkwardly for around 15 to 20 minutes, one younger lady walked by really quick and asked us if we needed help I stated "I am just wondering where these other chairs from the website were at so I could try them" I was never given a look, a word, or even a screw you as she kept walking to the front of the store. At that point I guess they realised I wasnt willing to finance a entire house worth of furniture and wanted to ignore us. So we just left not even getting a goodbye from the 10 staff members sitting around the front of the store hanging out. The reputation of the store deffinently held true.... UPDATE: I contacted the number they said to text and this is what I got in response, once again wasting my time, and upholding there reputation....

Giving two stars because Damien and Valentine are a pleasure to work with, but I am so disappointed in Ashley furniture. When I came to them, I told them I was having an issue with another furniture store that told me a delivery date and then pushed it back without telling me. I was promised that my couches would come the next week. I called three days before the supposed delivery date and was told it would be another week. Nobody told me and had I not called, I would’ve been sitting here waiting on delivery on the date I was promised. I went to get another furniture store, settled for something I don’t care for, but at least it’s SUPPOSED to come on the date I was supposed to get the furniture from Ashley. Hopefully third times a charm, regarding the other store. I won’t do business with Ashley again tho since their delivery dates can’t be promised and I heard they have to have a full truck to deliver.

The delivery was very informative about their arrival time and was actually a little early. Both delivery men were extremely nice. They were more than understanding when we realized one of the dining room chairs had 3 small chips and the buffet had a flaw on the side, and had to return for replacement. Hopefully, the replacements will be delivered soon.

When we walked in we were welcomed by a woman named Teresa who took the time to explain where things were and let us roam around. Shortly after 20mins of being in there , still nothing. I did see a handful of associates working , some with people. I felt ignored and most of all embarrassed because one associate seem to follow us but never asked if we needed anything. I’ve bought furniture from here before and this is the first time I had a bad experience. I don’t know if it’s new management or what but you all should train your associates better. I left the store feeling very much so racially profiled against because every associate was helping someone that was NOT my color. I will not be back in that store ever again. I was just there to get some ideas for my new home and was left with the worst customer service experience ever. I hope you all do better.

Service was terrible. More people working than guests and it still took me 15 minutes before someone was willing to help me.

Chasity, Lizzie, and Theresa were all incredibly helpful with my own purchases as well as with helping my mom who came along with me and had questions about things she wanted to purchase too. I will certainly be back!

The delivery team was prompt according to the app and polite upon arrival. I wasn’t there for the entire process but my husband sent me pictures and they set the furniture up according to my previous directions.

We made a small purchase at this store a few weeks ago. Advertising emails from Ashley started coming in right afterward and there has been no stopping them. Unsubscribe requests have been ignored. This is unwanted and illegal. I won’t shop there again. Update: Store responded with suggestion that I reach out for assistance. I have tried to unsubscribe multiple times using links in their emails. By law, this should be sufficient. Emails do not originate from the local store and no contact info for reaching out to the appropriate party is provided in their response. I am angry and will not play games.

Ordered a couch from the edwardsville il, was supposed to be delivered on a certain day. It was randomly cancelled, called a manager to see what it was cancelled, this manager submitted a ticket and never herd back..then Was rescheduled for Tuesday the 2nd of July, no communication on when it was coming till the morning of when the mass text comes out of the time frame. We found someone who was 18 years or older to be at our house because it was last minute, I will post photos, the furniture came, and it doesn’t fit in our house, and the also broke our door frame and didn’t tell us, I called about returning the couch because it doesn’t fit, I called the edwardsville location, he gave us an 800 number, he said since we just got it we can return it, called the 800 number they said the couch is in your house we can’t take it back, not one time did they disclose this information to us, the only information they said was when the couch won’t replace. Anthony was our sales person in edwardsville, he definitely kept telling us if your couch get chewed on just have your neighbor come shoot it with a shotgun because they will replace that. When I found out about the broken door frame, we called and the manager wanted pictures asap, he said he submitted a ticket, and someone should be calling about the situation, the people called and said we won’t hear back about the damage till next week and we asked about the couch, and they said they don’t deal it, so they can damage my door frame in minutes and takes a week to even hear back of what they will do and still won’t answer about this couch. Anthony and Jeff were amazing. I hate pushy sales people and neither of them were. Everyone was so nice and just wanted to make sure we were taken care of. They took their time and just made conversation, I never felt rushed or pushed.

I always like going to our local store. I had found what I wanted so it was an easy purchase. Delivery was so fast and professional. It took Forrest longer to backup the truck than for him and his partner to unload and place my new couch. They did a great job.

Worst customer service ever. These stores have some sort of a franchise system, that you cannot work with the store when you have an issue. You have to call the corporate. The store literally does nothing for you. So, good luck with that. Their furniture starts squeaking after 6 months of light use. Waste of money.

Decent selection, but if you have an issue with it malfunctioning they leave you to figure it out yourself with their sad excuse for a warranty company. What we were told was “a common issue” with our electric recliner (that is only a year old) has now taken over 2 months to fix, with still no scheduled repair date.

I love the smell of new furniture when I walk into Ashley! The displays and setups are gorgeous! I want everything I see! LOL The furniture is nice quality! And the prices are affordable- or use a payment plan. And you can’t beat their service. I’m a repeat customer for all these reasons. Service is consistent so I keep coming back. 💕

Electric couches made of cheap parts, broken within 14 months. Their protection plan takes 6 months+ to have any repairs taken care of. Would recommend shopping somewhere else

Ashley left a sectional damaged after delivery. I wasn’t able to be there due to chemo treatment. I called within their 72 hour period and sent pictures of the damage when visiting store because I couldn’t get help just calling. I have a brand new $3k sectional damaged and they will not return this one and give me an undamaged product. They only offered to send a patch of fabric to mend the one are and are not willing to do anything for the cup holders that look 10 years old. This is pretty shady tactics not to mention terrible customer service. I regret walking into their store, what they promise is not what they deliver.

The driver almost hit my car when i walked out to say someth the guy just said oh ok...and then ignored me and didn't bring in my couch he said he didn't think he could get it in my livingroom so I said well you can the last delivery guys got a double recliner couch in and you can't get a standard couch in and he said nope..so I told him to place it in my garage and me and my 16 year old took it in I paid 296.00 to have delivery just for the men to be rude and me and my son to do everything..and then all the store said was I am sorry. Like give me half my delivery money back. And the lady that I delt with said oh call me if you have any problems well I called and nothing.

***Update on Original Post*** 1 month after original delivery date, Ashley Furniture & team have corrected all aspects of our order. The process was quite an ordeal, but, everything is now as it should be. Overall, the in-person customer service personnel I dealt with supplied the best results. Trying to work thing via phone & online was not effective or efficient. Also overall, my wife & I are satisfied customers & we both feel as though the furniture we purchased was at a very fair price - thanks to Lizze & Brandon!!!). My thoughts on the Tempupedic mattresses are still open - time will tell for the $$ (but that's on me, not Ashley furniture). Lol Tha KS for correcting everything Brandon! & thank you Lizzie for assisting us choosing a bedroom outfit that we are very satisfied with to improve the overall quality of our home!! ---------------Original Post---------------- Made (what i would refer to) as a significantly large purchase order (total bedroom). Upon delivery, one large item (footboard with drawers) was damaged needing replacement. Another separate large item (5 drawer chest) was incorrectly ordered/delivered. Trying to chase down agents, service reps, managers, technicians, etc... to correct the issues has been a tital headache - very cumbersome, time consuming, inconvenient, and very unprofessional. For having spent the money I spent, I would expect mich better customer service to get this resolved. I will update this post/rating if something significantly changes, but I waited 10 days before responding to this survey & I haven't had any significant progress made thus far-

My Husband was very upset and disappointed on the policy that Ashley’s has when using your unused warranty on some previous furniture purchased. We had a $322 reimbursement coming from a warranty to use toward a new piece of furniture. So, we found a Chair online for $459.95 that we wanted to order. We went to the Edwardsville IL store and they told us we had to spend $500 to honor the warranty. So I said ok we will buy an accessories to go with the chair. Next we were told either I had to purchase another piece of furniture or bump the price up to $500. This is forcing me to pay more money out of my pocket to use my warranty reimbursement. Then I asked just deliver it to my house for free and that will offset the additional cost I had to pay. The answer was no we can’t do that. So, here is my reply!! I went ahead and purchase the chair. I’ve spent thousands of dollars in your stores. I’m getting ready to build me a new home and furnish it with all new furniture. You will not get any of my business due to your policies. It really isn’t about the money because I have plenty of that, it’s more about how you treat your customers.

I came in not really sure what style I was looking for. Blake was there to help me out. He wasn’t in a hurry took his time helping find the items I was looking for. Very nice and knowledgeable with all the questions I ask. So then I got it all ordered and got home and my husband wanted a smaller tv stand. So I called the store and talk to Blake and ask if I could change my order. He took care of everything and got me the different size ordered and canceled the order one. I rarely write reviews, but have had ongoing issues with Ashley furniture, specifically the Edwardsville location, for well over a year. It started with our original delivery arriving damaged. It took 4 deliveries before we finally received one that wasn’t damaged. We paid for the white glove delivery service which they charge extra for and tout as being their premier no-worry service. We also purchased the 5 year extended warranty. After having our furniture for a year, a cushion was punctured by a pocket knife. Punctures are well within the terms and conditions of the policy. Our sofa is tweed, so the threads around the hole began to fray. The claim was denied because of the frayed thread. I realize the warranty company is separate from Ashley, but reached out to the Edwardsville store for assistance. They called the company on my behalf and received the same denial. The store told me they couldn’t do anything and gave me the Ashley customer service line. From the moment the phone was answered, the customer service rep spoke down to me and acted as though she couldn’t understand why I was calling. I explained that I know the two companies are separate but Ashley’s lack of assistance from day one with the broken delivery has been frustrating. The policy they sold us did not meet the expectations sold in their store. Her reply was “ok, but what are you wanting us to do? We can’t do anything.” This is a long way of saying, save your money and time and avoid Ashley furniture, especially Ashley furniture in Edwardsville. Between paying extra for useless upgraded delivery and extended warranty, I wasted well over $500. Run, don’t walk, away from this store. I’ve discouraged everyone I know from going here. Their terrible customer service is nothing short of fraudulent.

In 2022 I had to buy an entire house full of furniture due to divorce. Those at Ashley's furniture work tirelessly with me to get everything I need to start my life over. I will never forget the patience and dedication I found at Ashley's. I will always start my furniture needs there first. The quality of products is second to none. Izzie is absolutely amazing and super personable! I would highly recommend anyone who comes in to Ashley ask for her. Prices are higher than some other places but the quality seems to be there in terms of product and service. Only complaint was management seemed a little inattentive and the no credit payment plan option is confusing and even the assistant manager there didn't know much about it which was definitely irritating. Otherwise every trip I've made to this location has been well worth it.

The buying process was nice and easy. Now the awful part has been getting somebody to help me exchange my defective mattress. First phone call I made I was hung up on right after explaining the problem with the mattress, second phone call they at least tried to help but I was told to call back after 30 minutes on the phone because it hadn’t been 72 hours….as of typing this it had been 72 hours a day ago and there are no signs of getting any help. My recommendation is don’t buy a mattress from Ashley. ****Update*** 2 days later and nothing has been resolved. Everytime I call I get the same answer that I need to wait longer to put in a request. I can’t return this defective mattress and can only exchange it most likely to have the same issues. That’s IF I can ever finally put in a request to do so. Any other avenue to contact some sort of support to get this resolved would be nice but Ashley seems to not care about you after you buy from them. Possible buyers take your business elsewhere. Will not be buying anything from here ever again.

Seriously, quit stalking people the moment they walk in the door. Following behind us even after we said we were just looking. Then the other associate walking parallel to us like we were going to steal a table. We’ve purchased a bed frame, an adjustable base, a couch and mattresses from Ashley. Never again. We’ll drive to Carol House.

Everything was good, but the part I didn't like was when the person at the shop told me that if I buy something, I can't return it because others had bought and returned things before. I think it would be better if they just put a note in the store to tell customers about this, instead of saying it directly. It feels a bit disappointing when they say it like that.

The process from buying to now being able to enjoy our sectional was SO quick and simple, everything went very smooth. With the help of an amazing woman, I cannot for the life of me remember her name but she’s amazing….we found a sectional that was perfect for us! Delivery was so quick and everything was working and in perfect condition! Definitely will go back for any more of our furniture needs!! :)
